Many Thai Action movies (หนังบู๊) deal with the Thai contemporary world (corruption, mafia, bad policemen, bad boys, politics, power, gunmen) and illegal business (drugs, underground gambling, smuggling, illegal felling of forest reserves, loan shark rackets, prostitution and slaves). Some action Thai movies deal about confrontation between good and bad guys. In the 1980s, the villain changed to be the local gangsters such as influential people (ผู้มีอิทธิพล) and god fathers (เจ้าพ่อ), who oppressed and exploited the poor. The plot lines were similar as they included heroes who fought for justice or took revenge against overwhelmingly powerful enemies. A popular plot is the hero, a poor villager, and his family who are bullied by influential people. The hero obstructs the corrupt action. The villains are local gangsters. At the end of the story, the conflicts are solved by the hero with the support from his friends or policemen to force the villains. Starting year 1987, Thai Action movie lost their popularity in Bangkok as the market was evolving towards romantic movies, teen movies...

Thai movie Chok Song Chun (โชคสองชั้น)(Double Luck) was released in year 1927. It is a mute movie. It is the first Thai feature film by Bangkok Pictures Company. The movie is lost in Thailand but luckily a sequence of less than one minute is still available at Thai Film Archives. The movie was 90 minutes long. Main actors are Manop Praparak, M.L. Sudjitr Issarangkul and Mongkol Sumonnat. The short sequence shows some fighting, car chasing, two men talking. The Culture Ministry registers 25 Thai classic films each year at the National Film Heritage Registry. This movie is part of the 25 films heritage list announced on 04 October 2012, which is Thai Movies Conservation Day. 12130 people watched the movies through 4 days in year 1927. Full summary is as below : The main actor is a district officer in the North of Thailand. He receives order to go to Bangkok to catch a criminal hiding in the city. He stays in a noble house and meets the owner’s daughter called Wally. They fall in love. A man called Wing is also loving secretly Wally and often visits her father in order to court her. Wing is the man that the district officer needs to catch. Wing sends subordinates to hurt the district officer but his plan fails. Wing kidnaps Wally. The district officer chases Wing’s car (part of the sequence still left to be seen). Police helps to catch Wing and his ruffians also. Double chance (โชคสองชั้น) for the district officer as he catches Wing and also Wally, who becomes his wife.

Thai movie อีสาวบ้านไร่ was released in year 1970. It features Sombat Methanee as main actor and Aranya Namwong as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 15 minutes remains to be seen. It is a 16mm format movie so no sound is available as it requires live dubbing. A remake was released in year 1983 featuring Sorapong Chatree and Piyamas Monayakol. This movie is also lost except a trailer. The summary is as below. Aranya is Sarinee. Her nickname is Isao (อีสาว). Sombat is Jainum. Sarinee is the land owner's daughter. Her father gets killed by the neighbour Virawilai (วรวิไล) as he refuses to sell his land. She replaces her father but her staff continues to get annoyed by the ruffians. Jainum gets hired and becomes part of the staff of Sarinee. He gives a tough lesson to the ruffians and is now responsible of the cows in the ranch. Jainum investigates on Sarinee’s father death. He finds that those responsible of the murder want to build a runway for planes to bring weapons illegally inside Thailand. Love emerges between Jainum and Sarinee. Owner of ranch Virawilai tries to kidnap Sarinee to force her to transfer her land. While trying to help, Jainum is also captured but hopefully Thai police is coming behind. Ruffians flee in the mountain but Jainum follows them up in order to release Sarinee. The remaining left sequence is certainly happening in the middle of the film. Various scenes can be seen. Choomporn Theppitak is talking on a bed to a lady. Choomporn is a singer in a high end club. Sithao Petcharoen, Sukon Koewliam and two other men try to enter at nighttime in a women's dormitory. They are discovered, beaten and chased away by Prim Praphaporn. Aranya Namwong is meeting Adinan Singhiran in the countryside. He is giving her a letter. She is missing Sombat Methanee. Sombat is with Sukon Koewliam. Two ruffians including Chanee Yotchai kills a man (probably Sarinee's father) in cold blood. A four minutes trailer is also available. Additional scenes can be seen such as Chanee Yotchai trying to recover Sombat Methanee with rocks thanks to a bulldozer, various fightings involving Sombat Methanee or Aranya Namwong, Anucha Ratanaman kidnapping Aranya Namwong, Sombat Methanee fighting with Anucha Ratanaman in order to release Aranya...

Thai movie คมแฝก was released in year 1970 and lasts 2h16mn. It was released under VCD format by Lepso company. Movie director is Sor Asanajinda. Kan (Sombat Methanee), a policeman, shoots Saen's father, who is smuggling illegal goods. Saen (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to avenge his father. He invites Kan for a birthday party and drugs him. When Kan wakes up, a dead man is found near him. Kan is accused of murder and is sent ten years in jail. Kan promises to use a baton (คมแฝก) and not a gun anymore for his revenge. After ten years, Kan is back but his family is torn apart. He wishes to revenge against the mafia leader (เจ้าพ่อ) Saen. Sithao Petcharoen and his wife are bar owners. Taprao (Metta Roongrat) is their daughter. Kan's father is dead but Kan is still looking for his mother, his wife Dokmai and his sister Kalog. Dokmai (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is now Saen's wife. Krai Kanchit is a new policeman in the city. Sukon Koewliam, an undertaker (สัปเหร่อ), supports Kan. Kan enters Saen's house to find his mother and sister. Achan (Aranya Namwong), Saen's younger sister, promises to help but she finally betrays him. Kan is captured by Saen. Feeling guilty, Achan releases him. Kan takes refuge in the undertaker’s home. Pleung (Luechai Natnat) arrives in the city and ends up in Sithao's bar. A new ruffian Fai (มือดี)(เพชร พิษณุ) arrives in Saen's team. Kan declares his love to Achan. Ruj Ronnapop (ขายยา) warns Kan about the new hitman. Kan bewares of Fai and Pleung despite Ruj confirms Fai is finally on their side. Fai is Pleung’s younger brother. Fighting happens between Kan, Ruj, Pleung and Saen's men in Sithao's bar. Police has to intervene. Saen wishes to hire Pleung. While simulating being a movie dubber, Ruj finds weapons hidden in wooden crates. He meets Kalog (Sasithorn Phetrung). Kan sends a grenade to destroy the weapons stock as Saen plans to hurt Thailand. Police inspector Krai comes to arrest Saen but another teammate pretends the weapons belong to him. Achan warns Kalog, younger sister of Kan, about Saen's activities. Kalog succumbs to Ruj. Robbery of a house is failing, and a few ruffians are killed. Saen suspects Kalog is the one disclosing his activities schedule to Kan. Her mother tries to intervene but she is killed. Achan discloses that she is the one warning Kan. Saen and his men storm Sithao's bar. Kan is knocked out. As Saen cannot shoot a man sleeping, he closes his eyes before firing. Dokmai interposes and she is the one being shot. Upset, Saen defies Kan and his friends as he kidnapped the three ladies. Saen, Fai and Ruj go to release them but they have to surrender. It is disclosed that Kan is new chief district and both Fai and Rj being undercover policemen. Caretaker Sukon Koewliam is ordered to prepare three coffins. Kan and his friends have to prepare their own graves (ฝังตัวเอง). Sithao helps to release the ladies and gives them guns. Sukon bring back coffins containing policemen. Shooting happens between policemen and ruffians. Saen finally causes his stock of dynamite to explode as his cigar falls on it. Pleung character played by Luechai Natnat disappears after a while during the movie. It is said it was killed. Maybe there was a conflict between Luechai Natnat and the producer / director so the character Pleung has to be removed.

Thai movie ดาวพระเสาร์ was released in year 1970. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence lasting nine minutes remains to be seen. Main actors and actresses are Sombat Methanee, Aranya Namwong, Ruj Ronnapop, Yaowaret Nisakorn, Sor Asanajinda, Chadaporn Wachirapranee, Daonoi Duangjai, Tawan Siriwat. A remake was released in year 1983 with different actors Sorapong Chatree (instead of Sombat Methanee), Toon Hiransap (instead of Ruj Ronnapop), Jarunee Sooksawad (instead of Aranya Namwong). Sorapong Chatree played a minor role (ตัวประกอบ) in the 1970 version! 1970 and 1983 versions have a similar scenario. During the short colorful sequence, Sombat Methanee can be seen as Dao Prasuk. Aranya Namwong is also seen with Ruj Ronnapop as her fiance. Chadaporn Wachirapranee Daonoi Duangjai, Sor Asanajinda can also be seen. Sombat Methanee is coming to the wedding with a nice suit and meets the father Tawan Siriwat.

Thai movie 'Luk Yot' (ลูกยอด) was released in year 1971 and features Thai film superstars Krung Srivilai and Petchara Chaowara. It was Krung Srivilai's first movie. Krung was 4 years younger than Petchara so from being the younger sister (น้อง) with Mitr, Petchara becomes the older sister (พี่)! After Mitr Chaibancha’s tragic death in year 1970, the Thai cinema needed new faces, new main actors to replace the void caused by Mitr’s premature death. Only a two minutes trailer is remaining as the movie is lost in Thailand. A full movie summary is still available as some old Thai movie stars magazines can still be found nowadays. 11 ม.ม. is a Thai movie released in year 1972. It features Kanchit Kwanpracha as main actor and Aranya Namwong as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand but a 26 minutes sequence is left to be seen. The movie summary is still available through old Thai stars magazine. Et’s father is dying. Et (Kanchit Kwanpracha) wishes to get revenge on those who cause his father to die. Sompong Phonmitr and Et go on countryside. They meet Lor Tok, old friend of Sompong. They meet Luechai Natnat, who almost runs over them with his car. A fighting oppose villagers and ruffians led by Luechai. A one to one fight happens between Et and a ruffian. Et wins. While inspecting trees trunks in the forest, Et helps Lek (Aranya Namwong), whose horse gets carried away. Romance happens and they become lovers. Lek is the daughter of Kamnan (เชาว์) and Luechai’s sister. So Lek doesn’t want this love story to be public. Luechai wishes to kill Et. While Et is going to work by motorbike, he is chased by a car driven by Luechai and his ruffians. They shoot him and Et’s motorbike ends up in a pond. The remaining sequence ends here. It was the period where Kanchit Kwanpracha was one the new main actors pushed by the Thai movie industry in order to replace Mitr Chaibancha, who died accidentally in year 1970.

Thai movie ขวัญใจไอ้หนุ่ม was released in year 1972 and lasts 1h45mn. It is available under DVD format by famous company XxX owned by Toh Pantamit. Num (Sombat Methanee) is a truck driver (สิบล้อ). He is working for Tia. Raemjai (Suthisa Putnuch) is harassed by ruffians. ปากหวานกับเด็กบ้านนอก. Anucha Ratanaman, driver of minibus (สองแถว), loves Raemjai also so there is jealousy between the two men. The movie features a few songs. Those songs are shot in 35mm format as this format allows image and sound together. The 35mm image is more damaged than the 16mm image as the film is less resistant to time damage. The movie itself is in 16mm format so in the past, dubbers were needed. Such 1970s decade movie include various style to please the whole audience such as action, romance and a bit of spice with a typical waterfall scene where the actress Wassana Chalakorn swims in the water. Head of ruffians (นักเลง) Sakda loves Raemjai also. As Phaen, Raemjai's brother, has debts in Sakda's underground casino, Sakda is pushing him for a wedding with Raemjai. Num punches Sakda's ruffians being irrespectful with Raemjai. Tia's daughter (Sopha Sataporn), called Deuan, doctor student, is back from Bangkok. Ponsak (Man Teeraphol) is Sakda's son. Taking profit that Num is working in Bangkok and the brother Phaen away, Sakda rapes Raemjai at nighttime. Ponsak harasses Deuan so Anucha intervenes. As he is about to be defeated, other minibus drivers help him. Back from Bangkok, Raemjai announces that she is breaking up with Num as she is not suitable anymore. Only Raemjai's brother knows the truth. Shocked, Num leaves very angry. Drinking alcohol, Num is informed by his friends that Raemjai has been kidnapped by Sakda. Num storms Saksa's house with the help of Anucha and minibus drivers. Hopefully Thai Police arrives on time as ruffians have guns. Shootings happen. Phen and Saksa shoot each other. Before dying, Saksa announces that he didn't touch Raemjai that night due to his heart decease (โรคหัวใจ). Num and Raemjai can have happiness. Deuan goes back to Bangkok as she knows she cannot get Num's love.

Thai movie “คมเคียว” image and sound are quite poor and damaged. Phanmitr company issues a warning that they have used the last known copy of the movie to release this VCD (สภาพฟิล์ม 16 ม.ม.สโคป เรื่อง คมเคียว). So movies fans should be happy to watch it before the last copy disappears from our world. This movie was very popular in 1970s. Hang Seuk, a ruffian leader, and his band are terrorizing villagers. Hang Seuk (Dam Datsakorn) wishes to kidnap Kathin to have her becoming his wife. Kwan (Lak Apichat), her fiance, tries to oppose them but to no avail. Kwan is buried except his head. If he survives 7 days then he will be released. A mysterious man coming through a raft helps to release Kwan and promises to help the villagers. Choomporn Theppitak is the village doctor and helps another lady called Chaba to recover after being assaulted by ruffians. The mysterious man names himself “small red mouse” (หนูแดง)! He trains the villagers with weapons. Hang Seuk doesn't touch Kathin but she doesn't dare going back to the village as nobody would believe her so she stays with him. Hang Seuk's sister, Siroon (Pawana Chanajit), promises things will get better. Nai Seua is a ruffian leader controlling a territory near Hang Seuk’s area. Putao is a village leader having a beautiful daughter called Saeng Sao. The mysterious man is recommended as Putao’s nephew and is renamed Kachen. Hang Seuk and Seua are friends but in fact a competition is happening between them. Hang Seuk promised his sister Siroon’s hand to Seua before so he needs to find a way to break the promise. Hang Seuk needs a strong man to get rid of Seua. Putao recommends his mute nephew Kachen. If Kachen defeats Seua then the wedding promise is cancelled. Seua doesn't wait for the fight and sends ruffians to kidnap Siroon. Hopefully Kachen is around but is injured while protecting Siroon. The mysterious man’s real name is Diaw Khom Thong. He realises that Hang Seuk is not that bad. The real bad ruffian is Seua. The village doctor helps Saeng Sao who was bitten by a snake. Kwan has to warm her body as she has a cold fever. Villagers start to rebel such as Kwan. Kachen defeats Seua in one to one fight with knife. Hang Seuk knows that Kachen is not mute as he heard Siroon’s love declaration to him. A fight happens between Kwan and Hang Seuk. Kathin convinces Kwan and Hang Seuk to pacify as Hang Seuk will be father soon. Meanwhile the three ladies get captured by Seua. All gather to fight back Seua and defeat him following strong gun fights. The movie ends happily as Kwan will marry Saeng Sao, Hang Seuk with Kathin and Diaw Khom with two ladies, i.e. Siroon and Chaba! Thai movie “คมเคียว” is a typical movie action from 1970s decade with a hero taking justice into his own hands to protect villagers against ruffians.

Sa Ai (Sombat Methanee) buys gemstone from people working in mines. Two groups, lead by Sa Ai and Ko Sai, are fighting each other for gemstone control. They buy then sell those gems. Sa Ai rescues and shelters young lady Supranee (Naiyana Shewanan), whose parents have been killed by Ko Sai's tough men. Another lady called Soi (Aranya Namwong) also loves Sa Ai. Sa Ai meets a young man called Chae (Krung Srivilai) and they decide to work together. But Chae is working for the other group lead by Ko Sai. Sa Ai escapes to two murder attempts but his father is killed. Sa Ai wants to sell gems for 500 000 baht to Chae. Ko Sai wishes to get those gems. Chae seems to play on both sides. Supranee and Sa Ai are injured during a trap prepared by Ko Sai. Supranee and Soi love Sa Ai but Soi sacrifices her-self as Supranee has already lost everything in her life. Violent gun fights erupt between both groups. Ko Sai uses his own sister to put a bomb inside Sa Ai's car but Chae warns him just in time after a swift car race. Chae shows interest into Soi. Ko Sai kinadps Soi and Supranee to attract Chae and Sa Ai in a trap. A heavy gun fight happens but Chae with a police team is joining to help. Bad guys are all killed or captured. Chae, who is in fact a policeman, kills the headman without proper justice. Extrajudicial killings have always been an issue in Thailand. The last notorious killings happen during the 2003 anti-drug effort. This movie features many Kung fu fightings in 1970s comfortable (สบายมาก) Thai style. This old movie has an image very damaged. In the past the camera original and any additional exhibition prints were circulated to cinemas around the country or projected from the backs of trucks on to sheets hung between trees at fairgrounds. There is no original soundtrack but a 1970s James Bond soundtrack is used! Slogan "See you later" (พบกันใหม่) is shown instead of "The end" (สวัสดี) to encourage fans to see their favourite stars in the next movie. More than one hundred movies were produced per year in Thailand in 1970s.

Prakan (Sombat Methanee) and Wi Ok Hen Lom (Chaiya Suriyun) are Pa Wieng's sons. Pa Wieng is the head of a team of bandits (โจร). Once Prakan knows Pa Wieng is not his real father, he flees to find his real father, Sing. A couple, Karn and his girlfriend Duang, is fleeing as Pa Wieng's ruffians are following them up. Karn dies but Duang is saved by Prakan (Sombat Methanee). Pa Wieng is Prakan's stepfather (พ่อเลี้ยง). Prakan is now considered as a traitor (ลูกหมา, ทรยศ) as he tried to flee. Wi Ok Hen Lom is always following Prakan remotely and helps him when needed. Prakan and Duang arrive in the adjacent district. Luang (Dam Datsakorn) is the subdistrict headman (กำนัน) and her sister Deuan (Aranya Namwong) is the village headman. They control very strictly the subdistrict. Sing was the former village headman but his authority has been neutralized. Prakan wants to find the former village headman (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) Sing, who is his real father. But Sing refuses to recognize him as his son. Prakan and Duang (เพื่อนรัก) are captured by Deuan (คนเก่ง). Sing's daughter, Kotko, supports them. Prakan helps to protect their oil stock and gets back his freedom. Finally Sing recognises Prakan (ลูกพ่อ). Luang believes Prakan is a undercover policeman (ตำรวจชายแดน). Saming is another mafia leader and is Luang's best friend. Saming and Luang destroy Prakan's house but Deuan doesn't agree (ไม่เห็นด้วย, ไม่ยุติธรรม). It is war declaration with Prakan. Prakan uses rape as weapon to revenge himself against Deuan. Luang asks the district officer (นายอำเภอ) to arrest them but Deuan provides an alibi to Prakan. Luang decides to give Deuan to Saming but Prakan rescues her on time (มารับเมีย). Now Prakan has two wives (มีเมีย2คน), Deuan and Duang! Kotko and Duang are kidnapped. Pa Wieng comes to help but dies in the fight against Luang and Saming. As expected, ruffians are defeated. It is a typical action movie from 1970s decade when local authorities were not respecting the law and were local kingpins. It is also a very bad habit in Thai movies and Thai TV series (ละคร) to use rape as an expression of love. In 2006, a Thai movie with the same name was released but it was a comedy.

Ruffians are chased by police officer Ching Ming (Yodchai Meksuwan) but he failed to catch them. He meets his old friend Kau Fei (Sombat Methanee). Ruffians are hiding in a Surin timber yard. A big fight happens as Ching Ming wishes to jail them. Hopefully Kau Fei helps Ching Ming but there is no way to know where is the big boss behind. Local police is trying to catch Kau Fei but elephants prevent police to follow up Kau Fei. He has been accused of murder but he was framed. The head of ruffians (Kanchit Kwanpracha) framed him as Kau Fei refuses to sell his farm land to him. Ruffians burn the houses on the farm land. Ching Ming and Kau Fei help people stuck in their home. Ching Ming likes a lot a local lady Shao Feng (Naiyana Shewanan). Kau Fei decides to take revenge by entering in the boss home. He is not here so he captures madame Shu (Aranya Namwong). Ruffians try to rescue her by entering the farm through the forest but they are welcomed by guns and elephants. Kau Fei still loves Shu despite she was forced to go with the boss. Ching Ming tries to arrest Kau Fei but to no avail. Kau Fei comes to town to make trouble inside the boss’ favorite nightclub. Shu is now pregnant with Kau Fei. As Shu is about to deliver, Ching Ming helps to bring her to hospital. The boss aware of this wants to use her and the baby as a bait. Taking profit of Surin elephant carnival (เทศกาลของเมืองสุรินทร์), Kau Fei sends a few elephants and villagers to pick up Shu. Kau Fei does a rampage in the boss’ house and even injures him but Mau Tien, another ruffian, finishes him. Mau Tien (Dam Datsakorn) becomes the boss and decides to kidnap Shu and two nurses to attract Kau Fei to the plains. Kau Fei and the villagers rescue Shu and the two nurses. Then a crazy rampage of the elephants on the ruffians’ camp happens. They are pushing huts and cars with real people inside. Big explosions and houses in fire happen. Even Ching Ming intervenes and helps Shao Feng. He finally lets Kau Fei go to Cambodia. The Thai movie "Killer Elephants" - ไผ่กำเพลิง was released in Thailand in 1976. Main actors are Sombat Methanee and Aranya Namwong. The movie director was Kom Akadej, who got the “international name of Som Kit in the credits, which is a version of his middle name, Somkit. All the other actors got Chinese style names, probably to cash in on the Hong Kong market and the rest of the worlds wish for more Kung Fu movies. The Killer Elephants cannot be found anymore in Thailand except at the Thai Film Archive, the original Thai version. Joseph Lai and his IFD Arts and Entertainment prepared this international version, which is the most common version outside Thailand. This DVD was released by Swedish company Attackafant Entertainment directed by Fred Anderson, a well known lover of Thai cinema. This DVD is the first official ไผ่กำเพลิง DVD release ever. The "Killer Elephants" movie rights in Thailand belongs to Coliseum film (บริษัท โคลีเซี่ยมฟีล์ม), company from Kom Akadej. Up to now no VCD / DVD was released in Thailand with correct rights according to Thai law. Only a video tape was released long time ago. Coliseum film company would sell the rights for all Kom Akadej’s movies and not only for 'Killers Elephants' movie. Thai Company XxX (Triple X) was only interested in 'Killer Elephants' movie so up to this day Thai people are still waiting for a Thai version of ไผ่กำเพล to be released again. The movie also includes also famous supporting actors such as Yodchai Meksuwan, Naiyana Shewanan, Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej, Kanchit Kwanpracha, Pipop Pupinyo, Dam Datsakorn, Sayan Chantaraviboon. The finest batch of Thai actors during 1970’s! Only Sorapong Chatree and Krung Srivilai are missing. Pipop Pupinyo, Kanchit Kwanpracha and Dam Datsakorn were the regular bad guys in Thai cinema and so of course even in The Killer Elephants! The same story was also released as Thai TV lakorn in 2004.

A Thai man just marries a hill tribe girl called Bokram. His wife is kidnapped by ruffians. He is in fact a man collecting girls for brothels! A mysterious man raid two brothels looking for a lady called Choimai. He is a strong puncher. His name is doctor Chai (Krung Srivilai) and is fiance with Vui, a gym sport woman (นักกีฬาgym). He has lost memory and cannot remember his own fiancee. Hong (Sorapong Chatree) is a well-off son involved with ruffians. Choimai is now prisoner in the prostitution ring leader’s house. His name is Yai (Dam Datsakorn) and he is also smuggling weapons. Choimai is in fact Chai's sister. She escapes (ขายตัวกับผู้ชาย) and takes refuge in Dong's home, another ruffian, who is also a brothel owner. Trap is put in place by Yai to capture Chai at Turkish massage place (อาบอบนวด). An electronic device is put near his brain to force him acting on any orders from Yai. Yai uses Chai to give a punchy lesson to Hong. Brothels are similar to slavery as women are chained together. The mamasan (มาม่าซัง) pretends to help Choimai but it is another trap also. She is only interested by her ring and necklace. Brought by three ruffians in a remote place, Hong luckily drives by and helps her. She is welcomed in Hong's parents home (คนสตรี). Hong decides to change his behavior and stop frequenting ruffians. Inside Yai's group, Chai takes revenge over those who kidnapped Choimai. Dong traps Hong (เพื่อนทรยศ) as he has betrayed them. Hong tries to crash him with an old French Citroën DS car. It fails but Hong is finally captured by Yai. Choimai surrenders to Yai to spare Hong's life. Vui is also kidnapped. Chai only simulated being a robot following Yai’s orders. Chai succeeds to release Vui. They enter inside Yai’s remote camp and gun fights, explosions occur between Yai’s ruffians and Chai’s friends. Ruffians are defeated. The Lepso VCD image is quite damaged and colorless. It is a recording from TV. Anyway this Thai action movie features part of the finest bunch of 1970s Thai actors. In this movie, Krung Srivilai, best Thai actor in 1974, meets Sorapong Chatree, best Thai actor in 1975. This movie was the most popular movie in 1976. In the title แมงดา means pimp.

Pipop Pupinyo has arguments with Pan Borapet as he hurts one of his teammates. Pipop knows Yan well. Pan and Krai wish to hurt Boo's workers, so they send men to attack a woman at nighttime. Upset by this night attack, Jom, Lot and Sola storm their camp and take their weapons. Unwilling to settle, Boo and his men enter Yan's mining company to complain. As Taptim has studied in university, Chiep tries to convince her that her father activities are wrong (เดือดร้อน) towards villagers. As she is a university graduate, she shouldn't tolerate this. Jom ends up in Seua Hin's territory. Ruffians believe Jom is a hidden cop but Pipop confirms he is working for Yan. Knowing his will to avenge See Thong, Seua Hin's team trains him to become a strong fighter. Boo's team puts the compromising picture of Lot and Yu Mei together, so Yan spies them and catches them together. He chases both of them from his domain. Yan and his daughter Sola are then alone to manage the mine with no protection. Upset, Yu Mei joins Boo's team. Taptim is looking for a solution to the conflict between Yan and Boo. She decides to visit Yan with Duangjai and Chiep. Upset, Boo forbids his daughter to go anywhere. As Chiep shoots one of Sia's ruffians trying to rape a villager, he is considered as a traitor (ทรยศ) and imprisoned. Jom joins Yan as he has finished his training. Moeifa drugs Yu Mei so that she cannot refuse Sia's advances. Moeifa’s plan is to take the team control with Lot. Yu Mei is punished and killed by Lot. Knowing Yu Mei’s death, Yan requests a one to one duel with Sia. Yan shoots Sia Boo but then Lot cowardly shoots Yan also. Lot is the new leader. Meanwhile Taptim helps Chiep to flee. Jom and Chiep fight back in order to defeat Lot and his ruffians. The area now becomes ruffians free.

Ket (Krung Srivilai) promises to his dying boss to go to Khao Kiaw to find the children he never had time to care of. Viwe (Songthong), an independant ruffian is wandering around Khao Kiaw. Kraison and his sister Mon are besieged in a restaurant by ruffians. Viwe agrees to help them but is asking for money as reward. Ket, having his lunch, helps them by shooting the ruffians. They all flee. Later in the village, Ket helps a young lady called Kaem (น้องสาวคนสวย) (จะไม่มีวาสนาเห็นขาอ่อนของฉัน) harassed by a few ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram). Ket is looking for uncle Pran. Ket learns from Kaem that uncle Pran was shot a few months ago. Kaem brings Ket to meet Pran's children, i.e. Plaew (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Prai (Suriya Chinaphan). Kaem is Prai's girlfriend. Pracha (Kecha Plianvithee) is the ruffians leader. They all refuse to sell their land to Pracha. Pracha wants to know who is the man who resists to his ruffians. Plaew hires Ket to protect her fields (ไร่). Many beautiful “luk thung” (ลูกทุ่ง) are performed by Krung and Naowarat. Plaew bewares of Ket as he insolent (ทะลึ่ง). Pracha hires Viwe to kill Kraison. The ruffians take revenge over Ket by torturing him but this time Kraison helps to release him. Kaem loves Ket but Ket sees her as a young sister only (ที่ใครที่มัน). Prai is framed by Pracha's mistress and has to kill one of the ruffians to be able to flee away. Viwe asks for additional bonus to Kraison to avoid killing him. It ends up in a fight. Ket, Plaew and Prai threatens Pracha to stop harassing them for a last time but Pracha is preparing his revenge. While a Buddhist ceremony (ผ้าป่า) happens in the village, Plaew is kidnapped. Ket follows Pracha's ruffians in order to release her. Gun fights happen. Pracha and his ruffians are killed. Viwe, always helping people for money, is also shot dead. The movie end is a bit weird as it is discovered that Kraison killed many years ago Ket's brother so he has to revenge his dead brother. Ket is arrested by the police following his bad acts. Plaew promises to wait for him. Thai movie นักเลงสามสลึง (1976) or “the three ruffians” features many famous Thai actors from 1970s decade. Krung Srivilai was then at his zenith. A James Bond soundtrack is used. It lasts 1h50mn. The VCD has one audio track with Thai and one audio track with Lao. This movie is a mix of romance, action and features many songs.

Knowing that Chat is not dead, Do Tawan moves his stock of drugs in a safer place. Pleung identifies the place and decides to attack it. Chat, being finally a policeman, also comes with reinforcement. All ruffians are killed by the Thai A-team. Unable to flee, Do Tawan prefers to explode the warehouse to avoid surrendering. Pleung has to go back to jail but Chat promises that his efforts to catch Do Tawan will be taken into account to reduce the severity. Lom is having a boat transportation business on the river. Nai Prakit's ruffians (including Pan Borapet and เมือง อพอลโล่) are threatening Lom's team (Tat Ekathat). He is a strong punch man and trashes ruffians lacking respect to him. Prakan, using small speed boats, disrupts Lom's boat fleet and prevent Lom's goods to be sold on the market. Two ruffians, Mek and Sing, intend to get rid of Lin See Thong as he is getting too close to Nai Prakit. Rampeung seduces Lin See Thong. Mek and Sing ask Nai Prasit to beware Rampeung and Lin See Thong. Ruffians try to storm Lom's house at night time. Shooting happens. Police arrive very fast and ruffians have to retreat. Nai Prakit suspects there is a traitor among them. Even Taksin dares to enter in Nai Prakit’s house (บ้านเจ้าพ่อ). Speed boat fighting occurs as Chuey prepares resistance to the ruffians. Action scene is managed as well as in James Bond movies. Chuey defeats Prakan. Nai Prakit kills Rampeung as she sacrifices her life mentioning the police radio found belongs to her despite it belongs to Lin See Thong. Lin See Thong is kept prisoner in his room as Nai Prakit isn't sure he is innocent or not. Ram Rong is kidnapped by Prakan. Lom and Chuey enter Nai Prakit's home. Meanwhile Thai police is informed, and they arrive by boat. To win time and to allow Thai police to come, Lin See Thong asks for a fight one to one with Chuey to show his sincerity to Nai Prakit. Heavy shootings occur. Lom is shot. Nai Prakit and Prakan are captured. Both Chuey and Lin See Thong are undercover policemen. Policeman Taksin mentions that nobody is big enough to be above the law!

Ruffians are waiting along the road. They rob money from a police van. A young man called Thonglop (Krung Srivilai), driving a truck, is passing by and gets involved despite him. Ruffians want to get rid of him as he is a potential witness. Thonglop takes refuge at his grandmother's (ยาย) home. The grandmother is killed by the ruffians as she refuses to disclose where he is hiding. Thonglop promises to revenge her and is actively looking for the ruffians’ leader (ผู้กำกับ). The leader name (หัวหน้าโจร) is Mek. Thonglop meets an old lady friend, Than. Than is Thanoo’s daughter (ลูกสาว). Thonglop helps Than and this father aggressed by two ruffians. Thanoo is a business man. Than and Thonglop collaborate to catch Mek. They found that Mek is often going to Khorat in Northeast of Thailand. Thanks to the unexpected help of a taxi driver (Sorapong Chatree), Mek is captured and he discloses that the real leader is in fact Amasadon (พี่ใหญ่). Thonglop uses the taxi driver called Krongket to track Amasadon. A friendship is developing between Thonglop and Krongket. InThira is Amasadon’s younger sister. Without knowing it, she is doing some money laundering for Amasadon through a company providing jobs to taxi drivers. Krongket follows Inthira and helps her as two ruffians steal her bag. Thonglop wants to use Inthira as a bait (ตัวประการ) to catch Amsadon. Thonglop keeps Inthira as hostage. Than finds Inthira’s bag inside Thonglop’s car. So she starts to wonder which game Thonglop is playing. Fake policemen try to catch Thonglop but they face Krongket who resists. Ruffians wish to catch Than to force an exchange with Inthira. Mek and Amasadon start to be divided. A final confrontation between all protagonists shows that Thanoo was the real mafia boss. Ruffians are caught. Both Inthira and Than are safe. At the end, it is finally disclosed that Krongket is a police inspector (สารวัตร). This 1970s movie includes action and humor. Krieng (เกรียง - Krung Srivilai) and Krai (ไกร - Sorapong Chatree) are brothers. They have a sister called Kaew. The third brother is away. They are part of a poor family and their father is sick. Ruffians are terrorising the local villagers (ปล้อนบ้าน). Krieng and Krai want to report a killing (แจ้งความ) to the village headman but he is out of town. The village headman has two children, Sarapee and her brother Han (หาญ - Dam Datsakorn). Han uses a lot of bad influence (อิทธิพล) and is always accompanied by ruffians. Han is committing extortion under the name of Seua Hin (เสืออินทร์). Sarapee is Krieng's love. Some villagers refuse to sell their land to Boonthong (บุญทอง), a local rich businessman. Boonthong is using Han to push them. He has a beautiful daughter called Angkap (อังกาบ - Piyamas Monayakol). Angkap is Krai's love (นางฟ้ามาแล้ว). Han doesn't appreciate his sister to go out with Krieng so this one is beaten by ruffians. Han also loves Angkap. Han is collaborating with Boonthong. Angkap is promised by her father to Han. The third son, Kan (กาญจน์), played by Nard Poowanai, is back. While Krieng and Krai are working in the fields, Kaew and the father are killed. The three brothers are looking for revenge. The village headman is not aware that his son is smuggling with Boonthong. Ket (เกตุ – Lak Apichat) is one of Han’s ruffians but he has a nice heart and always warns Angkap if something fishy is under preparation. Han is always looking for arguments with Krieng even during a temple fair. Han uses Ket to shoot Krai in the back while performing Thai folk dance (รำวง) as he is jealous of his relation with Angkap. Ket is playing double game as a fake bullet is used to shoot Krai. Ket warns Angkap that Han plans a night attack to get rid of Krai. Warned by Angkap, the three brothers prepare a surprise for Han and his ruffians. The ruffians fall in a trap and only Han and a few guys escape death. Han takes revenge over Ket by raping and killing his wife. Ket recognizes that Han’s missing short button is the one he found near his wife’s dead body. Following fist fights and car motorbike chase between Ket and Han, Han finally succeeds to flee. Han kills Boonthong to get his money and recruits more mercenaries. The three brothers and Ket are ready to fight back but they need to face 50 ruffians having M16 guns. Police lead by Mot is coming to help. Ruffians take Sarapee as hostage. A final face to face between the father and Han, the ruffian son, happens. Following a misunderstanding the village headman shoots his own son. Ket also dies. It is moralist ending. Ket is an unknown hero and law remains stronger than filial bonds. It is a 2h03mn movie. Similar to The Magnificent Seven movie, Krung and his three friends resist to the ruffians. As the ruffians prepare a plan to kill them, Krung prepares a strike back offensive. Ruffians are the ones to fall in a trap. Heavy fightings and shootings happen. All ruffians are defeated or killed. Sa ong is killed. Movie ‘9 พยัคฆ์ราช’ was released in year 1977 and lasts 1h43mn. The Lepso VCD has an horrible sound. Thai action movies were very popular in decade 1970s. Sing A (Sombat Methanee) arrives too late as his father Nae Klam died already. His father was a big mafia boss (นักเลง) so smaller bosses (Chun - Dam Datsakorn, Kam - Choomporn Theppitak, Pon - Sahat Piempongsan, Krong - Kanchit Kwanpracha) want to become the leader instead. The movie features fighting between those smaller bosses in order to become the big boss. Back from overseas, Sing A is welcomed by KoLit (Kecha Plianvithee) and by his mother (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng). Krai Kanchit challenges Sing A but as he is defeated, he finally joins Sing A's team. Ruffians are using axes (ขวาน) for fighting so giving the movie name, i.e. ลูกขวาน, "axe child". Many groups want to get rid of Sing A. Prachom (Lak Apichat) gives a hand to Sing A aggressed by motorbikes on the beach. Kam (Choomporn Theppitak), married to Metta Roongrat, is one of the small leader wanting to kill Sing A. Nop (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) and Sai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) are close friends with Sing A. Sing A finally sympathizes with Nolee (Aranya Namwong), daughter of Nop. Phi Pon (Sahat Piempongsan) and his team start hostilities and take over a mine. Mek (Chana Sriubon) and Wan are having a love affair. Tan (Manop Aussawathep) orders to kill Sing A. KoLit and Mek defeat Pipop Pupinyo and his guys trying to enter in their ranch. Krong is shot and injured by another gang. Tan refuses to work with Phi Pon (ขายหน้า). Chat Mongkolchai and his ruffians attack Mek's house but get defeated by KoLit and Mek following a long boat race. Wedding is happening between Mek and Wan. Chun is looking for troubles during the wedding but gets punched by Sing A. Tan is burnt in his car by Phi Pon's team and becomes blind. As a revenge, Phi Pon gets killed by Kanchit. Tan relearns to shoot using his ears instead of eyes. Pinyo and his ruffians kill Sing A's mother but get axed by KoLit and Mek. Kam is arrested by the police. Aranya has a cancer but Sing A still wishes to marry her. Tan takes his revenge over those who caused the fire making him blind. All mafia leaders are now out of the game except Chun. A feast is organized but Chun's ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram) are bringing a mess. Honor needs to be washed with blood (เลือดต้องล้างกับเลือด). Chun's house is stormed and Chun himself is killed but remaining people including Sing A get caught by police. Thai movie ดวล (The last duel) was released in year 1977. It lasts 1h31mn. It seems that the movie was never released on VCD or DVD but only shown on Thai TV channel 11. The soundtrack is unfortunately very bad and barely audible. It features a bunch of actors always playing ruffians such as Kecha Plianvithee, Chanee Yotchai, Paen Pleumsachai and Pipop Pupinyo. Ek Amarin (เอก อัมรินทร์) is the main actor. Kecha and Surasit Sattayawong are friends with an overseas ruffian. They kill a couple to steal money and also take their daughter. Their teenage son promises to get revenge. 20 years have passed. Kecha's birthday is happening. Narin from France is present. Ek spoils the party and promises to get revenge against the ruffians one by one. He finally gets stopped by Narin (ไม่น่าเป็นโจร). Ek reverses the situation and brings Narin in a cave as a prisoner. He finds that Narin has a necklace and a birth tattoo on her back showing that she is his lost sister separated from him when their parents were killed by ruffians. Ek gets rid of Chanee and Surasit through duels. He also kills Pipop in one to one duel. One of the overseas ruffians leaders is chased by speed boat, then by car but Ek gets defeated. Ek is tortured, attached to a pole and left for dead. He is finally released by Narin. Ek is then chased by a motorcycle, a helicopter and then a F1 car but still survives! Finally Ek shots also Kecha. The movie moves to Spain into a with a five minutes corrida sequence that looks like more a documentary. He also shots the last ruffian, who was a Spanish citizen. Revenge cycle is over. This movie got limited success despite bringing some foreign stars. Ek Amarin is also less famous than other Thai cinema stars of the 1970s decade.

Thai movie เจ้าพ่อ 7 คุก was released in year 1977. It features two major Thai cinema stars together, i.e. Sombat Methanee and Sorapong Chatree. The remaining sequence lasts 1h22mn. Papum (Sombat Methanee) succeeds to escape from prison four times but he is recaptured by the Thai police each time. Sorapong is a soldier. Chaiyan Sorakrai as another soldier gets killed in the fightings. Sorapong is married and has one kid. While he is fighting at the border, his father is killed and his wife is raped by ruffians led by Jit (Kecha Plianvithee) and including Ming and Pipop Pupinyo stealing the cattles. Sorapong finds Pipop and kills him. Before he learns from Pipop that Ming is now in jail so Sorapong surrenders to police in order to be sent to jail. Sorapong ends up in same jail as Papum, who is still trying to escape (นักโทษวิเศษ). He also befriends with Ming. The three guys now prepare to escape. There is a famous scene, where Sombat as prisoner smashes a rat and eats it raw. The three men succeed to escape through some pipes thanks to a file given by Sorapong to Papum in order to cut his chains. After obtaining information on Jit, Sorapong kills the ruffian Ming following a one to one fight. Papum and Sorapong go to north of Thailand to find Jit. They join a group including พ่อเลี้ยง Chawalit (Manop Aussawathep), Nirut Sirijanya and Malee (Sirikwan Nanthasiri). They go through the mountains by small paths. Papum meets Naowarat Yooktanun. Love emerges. Surasit Sattayawong is the hill tribe village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). Two groups are exercising influence, i.e. Jit and Chawalit, around the mountains. Meiyo, Naowarat’s younger brother, is shot by Jit’s ruffians as he listened to them talking about Papum and Sorapong. Malee has disappeared. The two groups prepare to fight. Nirut releases Malee but they are chased by ruffians. Malee gets shot and dies. Papum and Sorapong escape murder tentative. The two groups confront each other and heavy shootings happen. Final fights between Papum and Dam Datsakorn, between Sorapong and Jit occur. Naowarat helps Papum. Sorapong kills Kecha but gets severly injured and dies. Papum ends up 10 years in prison but Naowarat waits for him. This movie features an impressive list of famous Thai actors and actresses from decade 1970s.

His father was kidnapped. Some ruffians try to kill him but Atit is faster to shoot them. He meets his old friend Akan (Phairoj Jaising), now Turkish bath manager. Seua Suk (Dam Datsakorn) and Pan Borapet storm the school as village header Thong complained to the police about their ruffians' activities. Teacher (Rewadee Pattaphong) is his daughter. Mokara (Nard Poowanai), a policeman, acting as a telecom company employee, hides a microphone inside Mien Wo's phone. Athit helps Mokara, aggressed by three ruffians, so they sympathize. He promises to help to find his kidnapped father. Mokara identifies that Mien Wo is the ruffians’ leader (นายผู้หญิง) behind the kidnapping. Mokara requests the help of Seua Suk to identify ruffians around. They accept to work together. Upset by this, Mien Wo's team kidnaps the daughter of the village leader Thong to have a guarantee (ตัวประกัน). The dream team composed of Athit, Mokara, Akan, Seua Suk and others prepare to storm the ruffians' place. Pipop Pupinyo is leading the resistance but ruffians are defeated. A foreigner, Athit’s friend, tries finally to betray him and to flee by helicopter with the father. Following a daring fight, the foreigner falls from the helicopter but Seua Suk dies while helping Athit. The DVD movie is certainly composed of two sets of partial reels as sometimes the image is colorful and sometimes it is reddish.

Paen Pleumsachai and his men attack Deuan. Lui and other colleagues arrive to help but his father dies in the fighting. Lui is a hitman in the organization. Lui is married to Sai Nam (Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej). Fed up to be a hitman for 10 years, Lui has decided to stop in order to take care of his wife Sai Nam and his son. He informs his friend Deuan. The secret organization (องค์การ) is not willing to let him go so easily as he knows all the internal secrets. They send two hitmen to kill him. They fail but, before being shot, one of them lies that Deuan is the one who disclosed Lui's location. Another three hitmen led by Somsak are sent but are also killed by Lui. The organisation asks Nai to manage but he refuses as he believes Lui has done nothing wrong. The organisation decides to send Nai to Hong Kong as they lose some trust with him. Ruffian Tio shall be the one to manage Lui. Kanchai Insree (Dam Datsakorn) is hired by Tio (Adul Dulyarat) to kill Lui as Deuan refuses to do the job. A bomb is put in his car. Unfortunately, his wife and son are killed. Lui shoots Deuan as revenge as he believes he is the culprit. Lui takes Boi, Deuan's son, to raise as his own son. Aunt Dou (Duangjai Hathaikarn) is helping. Boi reveals the truth to Lui, i.e. Deuan was beaten as he refused to kill Lui. Pipop and others are killed by Lui. Kanchai is also killed but before dying, he shouts to Boi that Lui is the one, who killed his father Deuan. Lui meets Prakasit (Sahat Piempongsan) by luck in a mall. Chasing happens but Lui spares his life as Prakasit hides behind his daughter. They take refuge in Kanchanaburi. Boi grows up there and learns how to shoot. He is played by Sorapong Chatree. Lui is now having a moustache. Ruffians led by Tio are still looking for Lui. Tio is having good time with girls managed by แม่ Soi (Aranya Namwong). Tio is killed by Lui. They invest in a Pattaya hotel by buying shares in order to prepare a future for Boi, Aunt Dou and Soi. Boi meets a young lady Not (เดือนเต็ม สาลิตุล) looking for a hotel room with her friend Metta. Nai is back from Hong Kong. Three ruffians’ leaders are left. Metta is Sakdan's son trying to identify where Lui is hiding. Lui is warned by Soi. Lady Not is Prakasit's daughter. Lui takes care of Sakdan. Kamphet (Manop Aussawathep) kills Soi as she refuses to disclose where Lui is hiding. Nai arrives at the hotel. Boi hears Lui and Nai talking together and that Lui killed his father Deuan through a misunderstanding. He wishes to kill uncle Lui as revenge despite Aunt Dou explaining to him. Thanks to Metta, ruffians now know where Lui is hiding. Boi is willing to shoot Lui and Lui accepts it. He uses an empty gun to shoot the man, who killed his father, but cannot shoot the uncle, who raised him. Ruffians storm Lui's place. Both Nai and Lui are injured. They chase Boi away. Boi faces Metta and is knocked out by him. Nai is shot by ruffians. Lui is shot multiple times by ruffians. Ruffians are celebrating their victory. On his last breath, Lui shoots at the explosives he put under his house. Ruffians are wiped out. Lui dies in Boi's arms.

His father has been killed. He is immediately kidnapped by ruffians led by Sahat Piempongsan and including Somsak Chaisongkram / Paen Pleumsachai. He has to kill Sarayut (Sor Asanajinda), a popular politician, against a reward of 1M baht and one airplane ticket to go anywhere. Sarayut's wife was fed up with the risks linked to politics so she left him 10 years ago to go to Italy with their young son. Plaew has to be a hitman (มือปืน). Sahat lies to Plaew in order to have Sarayut killed. As Plaew's father was a politician, he would be the right scapegoat. A lady called Romanat (Duangcheewan Komolsen) helps Plaew to prepare the shooting and gets in love with him. Plaew has one week to do the job. The killing shall happen during a speech. He meets Manop Aussawathep to learn more his father's death. Plaew still wanders who has killed his father, who was also a politician. People, who wish to hurt Thailand, killed his father. They now chase him also. Politics in Thailand is full of bad influence (อิทธิพล), corruption and murders through hitmen. Romanat warns him that people try to kill him. Romanat wishes to flee with Plaew and mentions that she knows Sahat will shot Plaew once the job is done. During the political gathering, Plaew doesn't shoot Sarayut but his opponent. This causes Sahat's ire and Plaew needs to flee to Malaysia. Plaew meets Lucky Jack (Jatuphol Poopirom) in Malaysia but they have to flee to Rome, Italy due to problems with police. Lucky Jack is in fact Sarayut's son! In Rome, Plaew seduces Maria that Lucky Jack also loves. As Sahat threatens to kill Romanat, Plaew has seven days to come back to Thailand. Maria loves Plaew but gets killed during a gunfight. Lucky Jack doesn't forgive Plaew. Plaew and Lucky Jack go back to Bangkok to catch Sahat. Sahat sends Romanat as a gift to lucky Jack acting as a local ruffian. Finally both Plaew and Lucky Jack love again the same woman, i.e. Romanat. Plaew learns that Sarayut is behind his father's death. Misunderstandings happen between Jack and Plaew as ruffians push Jack against Plaew. Meanwhile Sarayut, as smart and evil politician, plays also the two men against each other. Sarayut, as nasty politician, is wishing to send Plaew to trial in order not to be accused of any collusion of the previous shooting done by Plaew. He pushes his own son to shoot Plaew. Finally Plaew shots Sarayut but gets shot by Lucky Jack. This is a typical action movie from the 1970s highlighting the bad sides of the Thai politics.

Khun Don, local Robin Hood thief, chases the thugs (นักเลง) away. The ruffians' leader is subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Phichit. Two Bangkokian friends come to visit Bulai, i.e. Phanit (Pawana Chanajit) and Thantip (Duangcheewan Komolsen). Phanit mistakes Khun Don with another man called Paradorn that she loved before. Phichit, lewd (ลามก) headman, wants Bulai as his wife. Phichit accuses the two Bangkokian ladies to be linked to Khun Don. Subdistrict headman Phichit is using bad influence (อิทธิพล), strong power (อำนาจ) and money to control the area and performs robbery (ปล้น). His team commits bus burglary under Khun Don name. Pui is accused of roberry and jailed by police officer (ผู้กอง) Thanu (Phairoj Jaising). Mysteriously the district offer orders to free Pui. Bulai joins Khun Don's team to fight subdistrict headman Phichit. Amorous jousts happens between the main characters. Infiltering Phichit's team, Bulai provides information to catch him and his ruffians. Police and army join. Following heavy gun fights, Phichit and his thugs are neutralized (ทำร้ายชาติ). As often during such Thai action movies, it is revealed that three young ladies were undercover policewomen. Pui is a also a policeman and Khun Don is a soldier. Couples are formed and weddings are announced. It is a typical movie 1970s mixing action, romance and songs (Country style Luk Thung - ลูกทุ่ง - and Molam - หมอลำ - music). Eight major actors from 1970s decade are present in this movie.

Thai movie เดนนรก is a Tom Yam Thai western even featuring Ennio Morricone's famous soundtrack. Ruffians including Pipop Pupinyo and their leader Seua Hin (Dam Datsakorn) are terrorizing a remote village. Ruffians are robbing villagers and even kidnapping young girls. The village header is handicapped and seems resigned that resistance is useless towards the ruffians. He has two children, is one daughter and one son called Khaem (Sayan Chantaraviboon). The daughter is abducted by ruffians and killed. Her brother promises to revenge her (สู้ซี่). Sin (Sorapong Chatree) and his brother Phayap (Krung Srivilai) are in prison. Phayap is a former likay actor. Sin is more a Buddhist student style as he always says moralistic sentences (ผู้ดีขี้ขุก). They succeed to escape. They meet Khaem, who is impressed by their skills to beat thugs. He requests their help to get rid of the ruffians threatening his village as police station is too far to get any help. Despite early reluctance, finally they all end up in the village. They just arrive when Sithong (Pawana Chanajit) has just been raped by ruffians. Sin and Phayap, understanding villagers pleas, decide to stay to help them. Phayap likes a lot Dok Kaew, a Thai Italian lady. A group of ten ruffians is chased away from the village by Sin and Phayap. Seua Hin, upset that ten of his men flee in front of two men, kills all of them and decides to handle the village by himself. While they are celebrating, ruffians attack the village. The village header refuses to fight as twenty years ago the father and Seua Hin were part of the same ruffians gang. He is handicapped since the day he tried to help a young lady harassed by Seua Hin. Despite beating fairly Seua Hin, this one shots him treacherously. It makes Phayap very upset as he believes the village leader is a coward. Wishing to revenge his father's honor, Khaem goes to fight the ruffians alone and loses his arm in the fighting. Sithong is kidnapped and Sin tries to release her alone. Being outnumbered, he is badly injured. Phayap comes to rescue but Sin is shot by Seua Hin and dies. Injured by Phayap, Seua Hin finally faces the village leader in a final face to face duel but this time, no second chance is given to him. After Sin's burial, Phayap stays in the village with his Thai italian lady. It reminds a bit of US movie “ The Magnificent Seven”.

Ruffians kidnap Aranya and her friends to work as prostitutes. Her mother is stabbed. The mariners storm the ruffians headquarters to rescue the ladies (น้องเอาคืนมา). They then search them into local brothels (อาละวาดบ่อน). The head of ruffians (พ่อเลี้ยง) is upset that his business is disrupted by those three guys. Two groups of ruffians then unify their efforts. The leader of the second group is played by Dom Singmoli (โดม สิงห์โมฬี). They keep kidnapping young girls or buying them from their parents promising fake jobs in Bangkok. They are also involved in drugs trafficking. Meanwhile the mariners unify their efforts with local police also. The university student is killed by ruffians while trying to stop the ruffians transporting the ladies in a train. Sombat and Dam chase the train. Fighting happens on the moving train. The head of the police is played by Wittaya Sukdamrong (วิทยา สุขดำรงค์). Finally following intense fightings, ruffians are neutralised by the three mariners and the police.

The movie was released in Thailand under VCD format and a four minutes trailer also remains to be seen. This movie is a mix of action and comedy. A gathering of scout (ลูกป้า) is happening. A rampage, led by Yai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and Phan (Dam Datsakorn), happens as all participants are killed except Suriya Chinaphan. The village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) is shot by Phan. Den (Sombat Methanee) and Aranya Namwong, daughter of the village leader, arrive at same time in the village Don Krating (ดอนกระทิง). Den orders fresh milk and has issues with ruffians led by Phan. Srinuan, daughter of Yai, always discusses with Plio and shares information with him. Kamnan Tat Ekathat is killed by Yai and his daughter Dok Kaew kidnapped. Yai wishes to abuse her (ใช้กรรม) but hopefully Dok Kaew is released by Suriya. Fake policemen arrest Den, Suriya and Dok Kaew. Den is attached to a moving car by ruffians. Hopefully Aranya and Jirasak can help before it is too late. Srinuan tries to convince her father to stop but to no avail (ไม่ต้องมาสั่งสอน). Phan is having an affair with ChotChoi, Yai's wife. Phan kills those, who discovered him with ChotChoi. Sawin is called as undertaker (สัปเหร่อไม่มีวัด) by ruffians! Two ruffians leaders are opposed to each other (เสือเฒ่าพบสิงห์หนุ่ม) as Yai faces Phan (เพื่อนทรยศ). Den then faces Yai in a final duel but Aranya is the one to shoot him deadly.

Thai movie สิงห์สั่งป่า was released in year 1978. The movie lasts 1h47mn. Sing (Sombat Methanee) helps Pukong (ผู้กอง) Palee aggressed in the train by Chanee Yotchai and other ruffians. Sing goes home in his village Thung Kla as he hasn't seen his mother for years but his home has been robbed and burnt. Anan (Kecha Plianvithee) is the local ruffians' leader. The subdistrict headman (กำนัน) and the police headman are corrupted by Anan. Seua Thong (Dam Datsakorn) is his close hand doing the dirty job. Mae Chom (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng), restaurant owner and wife of Anan, encourages Sing to sell his mother's land. Sing meets Tap (Lak Apichat) and Duangcheewan Komolsen, who tell him the difficulties faced by villagers. Pipop Pupinyo is a small ruffians' leader. Chen (Krung Srivalai) is visiting a friend in Thung Kla. He meets Oon (Naowarat Yooktanun), daughter of Anan. Chen knocks out Pipop. Sing's car explodes. It looks like somebody wants to get rid of him. Sing ends up in jail after shooting two ruffians including Chanee. Choomporn Theppitak, as head of police, orders to transfer him to prison. Lor Tok, Chat Mongkolchai, Dao (Piyamas Monayakol) prepare a plan to release one of their inmate colleagues. Seua Dao helps a prisoner so Sing takes opportunity to flee also. Anan is upset as he was planning to have Sing killed during the transportation but his plan foils. Chen and Sing are friends but nobody knows it. A drug and money exchange is planned by Anan and shall be managed by Seua Thong. But the plan is foiled also as Sing and Seua Dao intervene. Chen is suspected to have warned them. Chen is tortured by Anan as he betrayed him. Sing and Tap successfully release him. Only one song is featured in this movie. Somebody from Bangkok insinuates that Seua Thong shall replace Anan. It fails. Finally Sing, Tap and Chen storm Seua Tong's place. Ruffians are killed and Seua Thong dies following a speed boat race. The same team now storms Anan's place. About to kill Anan, Sing listens to Mae Chom and Oon and spares Anan's life. Anan is arrested by Pukong Palee.

It is a typical Thai movie from decade 1970s and featuring two top action movies actors, i.e. Sorapong Chatree and Krung Srivilai. Jane (Metta Roongrat), as countryside bus ticket receiver, has issues with four ruffians including Plaew (Manop Aussawathep) and Sayan Chantaraviboon. Other ruffians also arrive to work for Plaew. The buffalo herd guardians are attacked. All are killed except Mun being injured. Plaew is jealous to see Nit and Krieng together. He asks for a fight one to one with Krieng but gets defeated. Phairoj wishes to catch the big boss, i.e. Seua Klaew, so he needs to collect more evidences. Meanwhile Plaew's team continues to harass villagers. Mun, staying in the village to get revenge, has a fight with Plaew also. Four men and four ladies have romance, i.e. Krieng (Sorapong Chatree) - Nit (Naiyana Shewanan), Sa (Nirut Sirijanya) - Reudi (Duangjai Hathaikarn), Mun (Krung Srivilai) - Kate (Tasawan Saneewong), Thong Chai (Phairoj Jaising) - Jane (Metta Roongrat). Aunt Sulaleewan Suwanthat is found hanged as she refuses to sell rice noodles to the ruffians. Ruffians try to storm Mun's house but they fail. Plaew uses ruffians from other provinces to avoid being involved. Plaew sends bikers to storm the market. The bikers are pushed back but Sawin dies during the fightings. Plaew is fed up to lose so he decides to act under his real name, i.e. Seua Klaew! Ruffians kidnap the four ladies. It turns badly and Jane is shot. Sayan Chantaraviboon is injured by Jane before being shot. Worried to die, Sayan lets Nit and Kate to search for a doctor for him. The four friends storm the ruffians' den. Heavy shooting shootings occur. Police arrives also. Plaew, upset that Sayan let two ladies to flee, shoots Sayan and the nurse Reudi. All ruffians are killed. Sa carries the nurse body.

A Yan's ruffian, former friend with Jak Khui, warns him. Steve and ruffians try to surprise them, but they get pushed back in a cemetery. Yan and his ruffians then storm Uncle Kiet's Thai boxing centre as they believe Jak Khui, former Thai boxer, is hiding there. Kiet's daughter (Duangcheewan Komolsen) and the Thai boxers push them back also (นักเลง vs นักมวย). Some protesters block a factory sawmill manager. Gnot (Kanchit Kwanpracha), as policeman head, lets them do. Hin (Manop Aussawathep) tries to interpose but he is outnumbered. Khaemkaen (Aranya Namwong) asks the protesters to stop. Protesters are pushed by Yan and protected by policeman Gnot. Fighting erupts between Yan and Hin, the new factory manager. Khaemkaen, Yan's fiancee, has to stop them (ต่อยเหมือนเด็กวัด). Sayan Chantaraviboon enters Yan's home to defy him. Appreciating Sayan’s boldness, Yan hires him. Jak Khui finally meets his son Simon, who is now a Buddhist novice. Jak Khui stayed five years in prison. Simon has no news about his mother. Sa brings Jak Khui to Kamsee, who is now a crazy woman. His son asks him to stop revenge, but he cannot do it. Kamsee is shot later by Steve. Yan is behind his demise and family misfortune. Jak Khui wishes to revenge (ล้างแค้น). The Thai boxing team is willing to join him. Jak Khui visits Gnot, the corrupt policeman (ตำรวจเลวๆ), but he is outnumbered and taken over to Yan's house. Yan is willing to get rid of Jak Khui as he opposed to him before when he was rising as Khorat mafia leader. They put him in a coffin and plan to throw him from a cliff. Hopefully Sayan Chantaraviboon helps him and they put the warden instead. Jak Khui then visits Khaemkaen to explain to her Yan's bad accomplishments. Hin and his men take back the wood stolen from forests by Yan's ruffians. It makes Yan to be very upset. To their surprise, during Khaemkaen's birthday, ruffians discover that Jak Khui is still alive! Seeing that Thai police starts to have proofs against him, Yan decides to flee. Khaemkaen is kidnapped by Yan. Jak Khui and his team storm the place where Yan and his ruffians are hiding. Jak Khui takes revenge over Yan. Hin and Sayan are finally undercover policemen. Romance can happen between Jak Khui and Khaemkaen.

Four songs are featured สิบยอดแสบ, ในตาเธอมีดาว, ฉันรวยแล้วจ้า, ลืมเสียเถิดความทุกข์. Nitaya (Aranya Namwong), going out of a factory by bicycle, is a witness of a lawyer murdered by a hitman and ordered by Han (Somsak Chaisongkram). Han is ordered by his boss to get rid of a traveller arriving at Don Muang airport. The traveller is working for Tawan Siriwat. Tawan (Manop Aussawathep) visits Tawan Siriwat in his supermarket and sees where he stores his gold. Working with Han, Tawan shoots Tawan Siriwat and his men. One of them can flee and injures Tawan. Tawan shoots back at him and a petrol station explodes. Jirasak (จิระศักดิ์ อิศรางกูร) witnesses this event. Pinyo Parnnui is Jirasak’s friend selling flower garlands to car owners. Nitaya meets Tawan at the hospital. Tawan lies about his injury. He contacts a ruffian called See Prom (กฤษณะ อำนวยพร) to get the gold on his behalf. Meanwhile Jirasak and Pino go back to the supermarket hoping to steal some food. They see See Prom and his men transporting gold, so they succeed to steal it and flee with See Prom's car. They request help from Rot (Sayan Chantaraviboon) in order to sell the gold. They hide in a hotel, but a man recognizes See Prom's car and alerts him... The three friends succeed to flee and take refuge in a Buddhist temple near their home. See Prom is aware as he gets the information from Rot's wife. Attacked by ruffians, the three friends get help from the undertaker, called Thong (Sombat Methanee), being a half-crazy man back from the Vietnam war. They ask his help to hide the gold. Ruffians are back for revenge. Thong neutralizes the leader Tawan. Tawan proposes them to join his team and to go to North of Thailand to meet Lao Seu, being a gold reseller. Meanwhile Tawan stores the gold in a safe. Later Nitaya visits Tawan and realises there are many ruffians in his home. The four friends celebrate in a restaurant about their future wealth and Nitaya joins them. Nitaya warns the four friends about Tawan as he has no plan to share anything with them. She is aware about the gold. See Prom and Han try to get rid of Nitaya but fail as her Police colleagues help her on time. Police are now aware that Tawan acts as a ruffian and are collecting proofs against him. The four friends wish to get back the gold as they don't trust Tawan. They ask help from two additional friends, Uten Boonyong and Sorapong Chatree, experts in opening safes. Uten has a romance with Melanie, Tawan’s girlfriend. He convinces her to help and to bring Tawan outside his home while he and his friends open the safe. They successfully open it thanks to Sorapong and go to the North of Thailand to meet Lao Seu. Tawan, being upset, kills Melanie as she betrayed him. The friends (including ต่อลาภ กำพุศิริ) meet Lao Seu (Lor Tok). They try to sell the gold but Tawan and his ruffians intervene. Fighting occurs. Ruffians are finally killed including See Prom and Tawan. Thai police with Nitaya arrive and arrest everybody.

Movie starts with a speech about Thai soldiers protecting Thailand, Buddhism, the King and sacrificing their life to perform their duty. Da (Lak Apichat), Tong (Pisarn Akraseranee), Witoon (Witoon Karuna) are three soldiers and friends. The three friends end up in a bar during a recreation. Da fight against Wang (Pipop Pupinyo) regarding a lady. Tong is back to countryside to meet his parents Sor Asanajinda, Somjit Sapsamruey and his sister Prang. He meets Song (Naowarat Yooktanun), daughter of local mafia leader (เจ้าพ่อ) Boonleut. Boonleut wishes to get their land. Yord (Manop Aussawathep) is used as ruffian to force them. Yot (จีรศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) is another tough guy working for Boonleut. Sri Thong has become Yot's wife but she still loves Tong as she was forced by Yot. Today is Naowarat's birthday party. Upset that Sri Thong told the truth to Tong, Yot decides to send her working to a brothel (เข้าซ่อง). Sri Tong hangs herself following multiple rapes by Yot's men. While Tong is guarding Sri Thong's body, Boonleut, Yot and his men storm Tong's home, killing his parents and raping Prang. Tong kills two men and is now aware that Boonleut, Yot and Yord are behind. Police cannot help. Tong refuses to incinerate his parents' bodies until he has done justice himself. Prang, following shame and her parents' death, also hangs herself. Tong's life is in havoc. Tong wishes to revenge. He storms the ruffians' place and axes many of them. He then chases Yord by car and speed boat but Boonleut and his men embuscade him. Tong escapes death as police arrives at the right time. Tong flees from hospital and takes refuge in North of Thailand in Da's home. Da, Tong and Witoon are back with war weapons. They storm the ruffians' home and perform a rampage. Yot is hanged by Tong. Tong loses sanity as he shoots unarmed members of Boonleut. Yord is also killed and Song, Boonleut’s daughter, is captured. Tong behaves badly with Song (เหมือนคนบ้า, สัตว์นรก, ไม่ใช่คน) but finally recognizes he is wrong as she is not responsible of her father’s behavior. Song understands Tong and flees with him. Romance start between Tong and Song. Meanwhile police is chasing them as Boonleut believes Tong forces his daughter to follow him. About to be captured by Police, Thong asks Song to shoot him as he doesn’t want to end up all his life in jail. Song follows him… เลือดทมิฬ is a powerful and violent movie.

A new baby is born and is called Ai Fa Pha (ไอ้ฟ้าผ่า) as it is born during a storm. Many years have passed. Yoo (Krung Srivilai) is back from university. His surname is Fa Pha. He is expecting his girlfriend Anoolok (Lalana Sulawan) to wait for him at the bus station but he is welcomed by three ruffians when getting off the bus. Even police led by Phalat, a corrupted official (ราชการเลวๆ), wants to catch him. Yoo takes refuge with his old friend bandit (เสือ) Beung (Phairoj Jaising). The sub-district headman (กำนัน) Pho is having forced land promises of sale with many villagers including Sin (Sayan Chantaraviboon). Beung is a mix of Robin Wood and thief forcing bad guys such as the local rice reseller to be more honest. Yoo and Beung want to help Sin who is treated like a slave by the sub-district headman family. Sin loves Kru, the daughter of Kamnan Pho. Beung kills both the brother and the father. Phalat accepts bribe (ใช้อำนาจ) from a Thai Chinese businessman. Beung wants to arrange a wedding between Sin and Kru but finally Kru becomes Yoo's fiancee as Sin doesn't want to be forced anymore! Phalat wishes to marry Anoolak. But she is still awaiting for Yoo. Her father was forced to fiance her with Phalat due to some debts. Phalat organizes kidnapping of Anoolak. She finally escapes thanks to Sin. Beung shoots the Chinese businessman to stop corruption. Young lady Nokarin likes Beung, an eternal bachelor. Fa Pa, convinced by his family and Anoolak, finally surrenders to the police and his complaints are heard by the district officer. Palat and his acolytes are dismissed (ยุติธรรม). The weddings Yoo / Anoolak and Sin / Kru can happen. But Palat wishes for revenge. They storm the wedding ceremony and shoot guests. Don wishes to meet นาย Prachuap as he wishes to work for him. At nighttime he investigates their warehouses and finds boxes full of M16 weapons. Prachuap is upset as his stock of weapons hidden on the island has disappeared. Simulating being a spirit doctor (หมอดู), Phairoj Jaising is visiting the ruffians site. He meets เสีย Prachuap's girlfriend (Tharika Thidathip). Jaising is undercover policeman. He is recognised and captured. Don succeeds to release him and flees with Bulam. The ruffians succeed to kidnap the ladies again. Fightings happen with the police. Ruffians are overcome. Net tries to flee with the van with the girls and runs over Prachuap. He finally crashes the van in a ravine causing his death and death of Bulam also. Nori finally understands that Lom, Don and Jaising are all policemen.

Lak and Pipop are aware somebody succeeds to escape but they are not aware it is Phaniek. Titio asks them to find and kill the survivor. Sathan has arguments with Lak and Pipop as they also treat Phaniek as a dog. Sathan and Phaniek become friends. Phaniek realises that Sathan is Saeng's son. Sathan is struck between taking revenge and following his duty as policeman. Salika is named as new company boss by her father. Phaniek brings Sathan to work in the mine. Salika hires them despite Titio opposing. Chat Mongkolchai is close friend (เพื่อนรัก) with Titio. Anan and Salika realize that Dao and Titio have stolen money since a long time by forging accounts. Phaniek and Sathan get rid of Chat. Titio is fired by Salika. Titio prepares a revenge and plans to attack the next gold transfer by himself. Ruffians are pushed back by police led by Phaniek and Sathan. But Salika is kidnapped by Titio… Salika is released thanks to Dao, worried that Titio wishes to harass Salika. Ruffians are neutralized. Anan forgives Dao and Phaniek stops drinking alcohol!

Palan Phuthai is coming back to Chayaphum area after having spent a few years in prison as a former hit man. During the bus trip, he becomes friend with the bus fare collector, who promises to present him his sister called Taew. Back in Chayaphum, things have changed. Following a dispute with a dishonest placement company sending Thai workers abroad, his mother and brother died. He has to take care of a small baby that he confides to the district officer's wife. The district officer knows that Palan has become a good person. Palan has arguments with the dishonest placement company as they take money from poor people and never send them abroad for work. The boss of the placement company is a local godfather called Kamthorn, who is also involved in illegal logging. Palan robs important documents from the placement company and even abducts Kamthorn's daughter, Busaba, to force him to stop his illegal activities. It fails as Palan has to exchange the small baby against Busaba. Taew become Palan's wife. Kamthorn tries to get rid of Palan and the district officer by using a hit man, former friend of Palan. Very strong, Sio kills them during the fight thanks to his strong punch. Sio ends up in jail with two other men, Lak Apichat and Boo Wibunnan, who are pickpockets. They become friends. Released from prison, Lak and Boo meet Phi Kang (Adul Dulyarat), who has serious issues with ruffians led by Boonchai (Manop Aussawathep) wishing to buy his garden. There are gems (พลอยแดง) in his garden soil. His children are Sayan Chantaraviboon, Supansa Nuengpirom and her elder sister played by Ampha Pusit. Sombat is having two roles in this movie, i.e. Sio and Sia! Sia Songsak is another local ruffian and his mother is played by Chosri Misommon. Some people confuse Sio and Sia. Sio has to punch people mistaking him as Sia. Sia finally finds Sio. Fighting erupts between both of them. Through the fight, Sio kills Sia due to his strong fist punch. Each time he gets hit below the stomach, Sio loses his temper. Afraid of being arrested by police again, both Sio and Boo leave for Chantaburi. Arriving there, they are involved in another fight and befriend with young men. Boo brings them to work with him. Sio likes fair justice (รักความยุติธรรม). Ruffians propose a 5 to 5 fight. Rith Luecha is one of the fighters. If they lose, they have to sell the garden. Thanks to Sio, they win. Trying a last solution, the ruffians kidnap the two daughters. Even Saran, now able to fight, joins them. Through final fighting, ruffians are neutralized. Sio is injured while protecting Supansa. US movie Rocky soundtrack is used.

ดาวพระเสาร์ (The Big Deal) movie is gathering three main stars from 1980s decade, i.e. Sorapong Chatree, Toon Hiransap and Jarunee Sooksawad. This movie is mixing action and romance. An impressive bunch of 1970s-1980s famous Thai actors are participating. Dam Datsakorn, more known for his ruffian leader role, is also the director. Dao Prasao (Sorapong Chatree) is similar to a lonesome cowboy but he has a strong kick (ตีนแรง) whenever somebody is looking for troubles. Taen (Toon Hiransap) wishes to befriend with Dao Prasao. Taen is chased by Sing Manorom's ruffians but gets help from Dao Prasao. Taen gives him a bag with 100 000 baht as a reward. Taeng, Taen's fiancee, is promised to ruffian Sing Manorom so Taen has no wish to live anymore. The 100 000 baht were supposed to be used while fleeing with Taeng. Diaw Dai (Wiyada Umarin), prostitute with sincere heart, helps them to hide from the ruffians. Tuang (Rith Luecha) is her evil pimp and wishes to take revenge following Diaw Dai betrayal. Dao Prasao promises to help Taen. Taeng (Jarunee Sooksawad) is the daughter of sub- district headman (kamnan) called Yot. Dao Prasao arrives as a mysterious wedding gift giver in order to enter more easily in Yot’s house. Causing a fire during the wedding eve, Dao Prasao takes profit of the mess to flee with Taeng. He is injured while helping her. Despite a plot from Tuang, all succeed to escape the ruffians. Diaw Dai has some feelings for Dao Prasao. Some feelings start also between Taeng and Dao Prasao. His real name is Kata. He left his home as his fiancee married his father while he was studying abroad. Meanwhile while visiting Taen's home, Taeng discovers he has already a fiancee! In fact his father wants to force him to marry a high society lady called Kaew (Thitima Sangkapitak). Feeling sad, Taeng is finally captured again by the ruffians. Aware of this, Dao Prasao with close friend Dang's support raid the ruffians nightclub. Jarunee excels in Thai boxing skill-set and they succeed to escape. Taeng is disappointed by Taen as he doesn't dare to oppose his father to protect their love (อยู่ในอำนาจบารมีของพ่อ). He is not as courageous as Dao Prasao. Taen feels hurt by Taeng’s words. Chumporn, head of ruffians, is leading a prostitution ring. They capture many ladies including Taeng, Kaew, Diaw Dai to sell them to an international buyer. Tuang kills Diaw Dai as a revenge. Dao Prasao and Taen successfully release the ladies through fierce fights on moving trucks and through motorized acrobatics. Taen wishes to show he has courage also. Kaew is killed during the battle. Taen and Taeng are reunited. Dao Prasao leaves them and continues his life as a lonesome cowboy. Dao Prasao has accomplishes his mission as Taen and Taeng can be happy together now. An earlier version with Sombat Methanee was shot in 1970.

Khongra (Sorapong Chatree) is relative (หลาน) of Am Su Ra Krai (Toon Hiransap). Khongra is coming to Phailom district to visit Am. Am's team, such as Wo (Lak Apichat), needs to carry guns as the area is full of ruffians (นักเลงบ้านนอก) such as Thaem (Porjed Kaenpetch). Mr Putr is accused to have stolen (ปล้นรถไถ) Am's tractor. Local ruffians forbid farmers to cultivate the fields but as Khongra dares to bring a tractor, he has no choice but to shoot them. Later on, he helps a young lady Chairon harassed by three ruffians. Chairon is living alone as her parents died already. Thaem is defeated by Khongra on one to one fight. Friendship starts between Thaem and Khongra. Godfather (เจ้าพ่อ) Bamjong (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to recruit Khongra as he likes his style. Khongra discovers that the tractor was stolen by Mr Putr despite his disclaimer. Romance starts between Khongra and Chairon. All the illegal activities are handled by a local few godfathers including lady Sa (Aranya Namwong), Bamjong, Dam (Dam Datsakorn) and Reut (Rith Luecha). Chairon has been kidnapped and Khongra is ordered to leave the area within 24 hours. Meanwhile Khongra (เสียตัว) is also kidnapped by mysterious Amazons (Sopha played by Wiyada Umarin and Thitima Sangkapitak) but succeeds to escape. Gnoh (Kowit Wattanakul) is a policeman coming to arrest drug traffickers believed to be linked to local ruffians. Am, Khongra storm Putr's home to know where Chairon is. Before dying, Putr just says she is located at Beung Mai. While going to Beung Mai, they meet Sopha again. It is a trick to split Am, Wo and Khongra. In a fierce shooting, Wo is killed. Sa is suspected to have kidnapped Am. Khongra and Thaem are captured and imprisoned with Am. Chairon provides a hidden message but her behavior is noticed by the guard (ทรยศ). Chairon and Sopha are sentenced to death by Sa. Hopefully Khongra, who succeeds to escape, helps them on time. A festival for farmers is happening in Phailom district. Khongra is aware of the ruffians’ plan to intimidate farmers in order to finally possess the whole land in the area. Explosions happen during the festivities. Following various shootings and car chasing, all ruffians are killed or captured by Khongra, Am and police led by Gnoh. This Thai movie จ้าวนรก, directed by Payoong Payakul, is a typical 1980s action movie involving many key leading actors from decades 1970s-1980s.

Ruffians kidnap young lady Lamai but Paen releases her and injures the village leader trying to abuse her. Young lady Booklee is kidnapped to become Mek’s new minor wife. Khun Mom Sasingha (Kowit Wattanakul) meets Chaba (Ampha Pusit), niece (หลานสาว) of Kamnan Chat. He presents himself as a customer of the underground casino (บ่อน). Pipop Pupinyo is looking for troubles with Sasingha but gets beaten. Chat is then jealous that Sasingha is too close to Chaba. Klot wishes to get revenge on Mek as he killed all his family members and kidnapped his niece Booklee. Paen refuses to meet his sister Phit anymore. Both Chat and Lom are buried alive as Mek discovers they are having an affair. Meanwhile Rit kills pregnant Lamai and her mother as they refused to disclose where Paen is hidden. Phit is having an affair with Seua Rit. Per her strategy to protect her brother, Phit claims to Mek that she has been raped by Rit so that Rit cannot harm Paen anymore. Paen releases Pumarin aggressed by ruffians kidnapping her. Klot gains the trust of Mek in order to better spy him. Paen wishes to get revenge on Mek but police surrounds him. The Buddhist amulet saves Paen one more time. Phit protects Paen a last time by shooting Mek but this latter shoots her before dying. Paen listens to Pumarin and surrenders peacefully to the police. A sequel released in year 1988 was called ลำพูนแดง.

Phanum and Feng are arrested as suspected to be involved as they were not invited to the party. Lit (Rith Luecha) sent the killer in order to be the new village headman (กำนัน). Kwat survives as he was wearing a bullet jacket. Feng has to demonstrate his divine skills to show they are not involved in the murder tentative. The birthday celebration continues but during the evening Lit's ruffians bring the mess. Fighting (การต่อสู้) between Pao Porapak and Panum happens. Nakorn (Kecha Plianvithee) learns about Panum and send two hitmen to get rid of him and Chan. Chan is played by Nard Poowanai. Nakorn's ruffians are killed by Chan. Chan has to flee again. Two ruffians sent by Lit fail to shoot Panum. Panum is divided between Yeewa and Feui. Chan helps Panum and Feng attacked by ruffians while sending money to a wood sawmill. A master (อาจารย์) helps Panum to remember his real name as Ek. Nakorn is Ek's uncle. Ek was back from studying abroad. His father was killed (ถูกฆ่าตาย) and Ek lost memory while being injured. Thanks to master (อาจารย์), Ek recovers memory. Through the final, they storm the ruffians' place and all of them are shot. Unable to choose between Yeewa and Feui, Ek marries both of them!

Thai movie พยัคฆ์ยี่เก was released in year 1983 and last 1h50mn. It was released under VHS format. A Hong Kong version, also released under VHS format, lasts 1h30mn. The movie is directed by Kom Akadej. Two Hong Kong actors are featured, i.e. David Chiang and Norman Chu. On the movie poster released in Hong Kong, they are of course shown preeminently. A Likay (Thai folk traditional theater) troupe led by teacher Pong (ครู) (Sor Asanajinda) performs in Sukhothai. The main Likay actor is played by Tuan Tong (Sorapong Chatree) and gets a lot of flowers offered especially by ladies including Piathip Kumwong, wife of the village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). It makes the village leader (Manop Aussawathep) to be very upset so he storms the Likay theater with his ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, Panna Rittikrai and Somsak Chaisongkram) to fight with Tuan Tong as he cannot accept that his wife (แม่ตัวดี) spends money on a Likay handsome actor. Both end up at the police station but the police head (Kom Akadej) finally releases Tuan Tong as he did nothing wrong. Back to the Likay theater, Tuan Tong is beaten by ruffians. A local doctor, called Thongdee, always gives free health care to the Likay troupe. Chased again by the ruffians, Tuan Tong and Note Chernyim have to steal David Chiang's jeep to flee. David Chiang, Suriwan Suriyong and Supakorn Srisawat (ดี๋ ดอกมะดัน) are brothers and sisters. Getting back his jeep, David meets Chompoo, Tuan Tong's sister, (ชลิดา เสาวดี) so he even learns Likay skills as he is enamoured. Suriwan is expert in deltaplane. A jewellery money exchange turns badly between Manop and Sothon (โสธร รุ่งเรือง). Sothon is shot by Chat Mongkolchai but he succeeds to flee. He hides the jewellery inside the Likay theater. David is also looking for Sothon so it creates a misunderstanding between Tuan Tong and David. Sothon is killed by ruffians using a deltaplane shooting harpoons but they are still looking for the missed jewellery. They burnt the Likay theater as retaliation. Teacher Pong sells one diamond to rebuild the theater. He has hidden the real jewellery through the fake jewels used in Likay costumes. As Chat failed to capture Pong and is even shot by David, he is replaced by โดม สิงโมฬี. Ruffians storm the Likay theater again during a performance. Teacher Pong is shot by the ruffians with harpoons and killed. Chompoo is captured as she is wearing half of the real jewellery. The ruffians are led by Norman Chu, doctor Thongdee (ชาลี อินทรวิจิตร) and Rith Luecha. David and others Likay male actors (Note Chernyim...) are also captured. Tuan Tong and Suriwan storm the campment. Multiple fightings and shootings happen. Most of the protagonists die except Tuan Tong, Suriwan and his sister.

Cha (Sombat Methanee) and Phayak (Toon Hiransap) are soldiers (รับจ้างชายแดน). Being attacked and overwhelmed by enemies, Cha forces Phayak to flee as he has a family to take care to take care. While Phayak is away, ruffians led by Klam (Chat Mongkolchai) raid his house. They, including Paen Pleumsachai, kidnap his father Sukon Koewliam and his sister Phayao (Thitima Sangkapitak). His sister is deceived by Khun Amnat (Nard Poowanai), the local mafia leader, as he simulates a fake release. It is typical 1980s-decade movie when the main actor needs to seek revenge by himself as he cannot rely on Thai police. Khun Amnat uses bad influence and power to control the area (มีอำนาจ). Police believes him. Ruffians try to get rid of Phayak but Klam fails. Phayao sends a letter to meet her brother Phayak. Her brother is upset with her as she has a new husband (ผัว) just one day after their father died. Khun Amnat uses Cha to shoot Phayak but he survives thanks to the sacred amulet (ของดี). Phayak needs to flee as police now tries to catch him as he shot a few ruffians belonging to Amnat's team. Khun Amnat uses Phayao to convince her brother to surrender (มอบตัว) and uses Cha again to kill him. Phayao complains she has no more shelter (ไม่มีที่พึ่ง). It is a trick to steal his amulet. Menawhile Nuan's father is killed and Nuan is kidnapped. Phayak needs to face Cha in order to release Nuan. Hopefully Cha recovers his memory on time. Phayao knows now that Khun Amnat is a lier so she takes back the amulet and flees from his home but she is shot by him. As usual, bad guys are finally punished and Nuan is released. No extra judicial killing this time as Khun Amnat is handovered to the police. Thai people believe that sacred powerful Buddhist amulets from famous Buddhist monks can protect them during fighting. Phai (Sayan Sanya) is living with his mother and younger sister called Kaew. Wut is Phai's friend and becomes policeman. Wut is Kaew's boyfriend. Phai loves a local prostitute, called Rampeung, but his mother despises her. The local mafia doesn't want to release Rampeung so Phai has serious arguments with them. Phai learns that Kaew has a blood cancer. There is a need to change her blood but it is expensive. He cannot tell the truth in order that Kaew keeps high moral. People start to believe he has a devious relationship with his sister as he takes care of her too much. He cannot accept Kaew and Wut's wedding as it would cause Kaew's death. His mother chases him from home. Before living home, he tells the truth to his mother causing her to indulge into alcohol when knowing the truth. While wandering, he prevents a gunman to kill an entrepreneur called Chat. Chat gives him shelter in his home. Dao (Sayan Sanya), Chat's daughter, is fond of him. Wut is now a policeman. Kaew's mother refuses the wedding also. Wut become an inflexible policeman. Love and duty are different things. Chat and Somjet, a local mafia leader, are involved in various bad traffics. Chat is killed by Somjet but it is believed that Phai killed Dao's father. Rampeung is shot while protecting Phai. Dao understands that Phai is innocent. Kaew is sent to hospital. Phai goes back home and fight successfully against Somjet. A storm destroys his house. Phai believes his mother and sister are dead. He kills himself due to despair despite Wut's last attempt to save him. Both main actors are famous Luk Thung (ลูกทุ่ง) or Thai country music singers. Both Sayan Sanya and Nanthida Kaewbuasai perform songs during the movie.

First movie episode สิงห์รถบรรทุก was shot in 1977. Siarat (Sorapong Chatree) is the owner of a truck company and is recently married. Phayap is the head of local mafia. His team is responsible of killing the owner of a truck company but they manage to accuse Siarat. Malin (Suriwan Suriyong), daughter of the assassinated truck owner, wishes to take revenge over Siarat but her mother (Pissamai Wilaisak) tries to prevent her as there is no proof yet. Malin believes wrongly Phayap's sayings. Two hitmen shot and kill Sairat's wife, Saisanee. Siarat wishes to take revenge over this murder. Meanwhile Siarat's former friends from the first movie episode, Chan, Kaewkarawet and Rawan, come back. Phayap tries to buy land from poor farmers but Chan (Manop Aussawathep) helps to chase the ruffians. Siarat doesn't know yet who killed his wife, Phayap group or Malin group. Phayap calls for other ruffians' help from Sisaket. Malin has great fighting skills. Suriwan Suriyong was often used as leading actress for action movies. She shows to Siarat that women can do same as men. Malin and Siarat are now friends as Phayap is identified as the treacherous man. Phayap sells weapons illegally to drug dealers. Phayap kills Siarat's friend Master (อาจารย์) himself. Siarat and Malin bring dozen of trucks to attack Phayap's team but the fields are mined. Gunfire happen between both groups until Phayap is neutralized through bloody sequences. It is a typical action movie from 1980s based on revenge script, kung fu fights, gunfire fights and issues resolved without the direct intervention from the police (it is only known at the movie end that Sairat's friends were under cover policemen), katoei (กะเทย) used as supporting comic roles. The movie image is very damaged for a 1980s movie. This hommage to trucks world was certainly very successful in countryside where movies were projected from the backs of trucks on to sheets hung between trees at fairgrounds.

Chom Phae 2 (ชุมแพ ภาค 2) movie starts by a 5mn section of Chom Phae 1 with actors Sombat Methanee, Dam Datsakorn and actress Piyamas Monayakol. Chatom, the ruffians leader, is captured by the police. Duangjai and Duangpol are his daughters. Police Officer Chayo, promised to Duangpol, refuses to release Chatom. Duangjai hires Chat, a famous thief, in order to help liberate her father. The plan is audacious but successful. Chatom needs now to buy weapons for 20M baht to ruffian leader พ่อ Saen. Weapons are finally stolen (โปลน) and not paid. Saen is upset by Chatom's outrageous beahavior and his daughter Surin tries to calm him down. Both Surin and Duangjai want their fathers to stop being ruffians leaders but they just cannot stop. Chatom's ruffians try to kill Saen but a mysterious masked fighter (Surin!) helps him. Every time Chatom tries to sell the weapons, police is aware. Chatom suspects Chat to inform Chayo. Chatom resurrects Seua Sing (from Chom Phae part 1) as his twin brother to try to kill Police Officer Chayo. Chatom's ruffians try to sell weapons to neighbouring guerrilla (คนเลวชาติ) in the jungle but Saen's team led by Surin fights back. Chatom ruffians kidnap Surin to know who is the spy inside their team. Hopefully Yot helps to release Surin. Chat is finally captured but released by Surin. He joins Saen's team. To get rid of him, Chatom wishes to recruit Hamuyan, a strong hill tribe fighter. Hamuyan is coming from a hill tribe (พี่น้องแมว) and is expert in fighting skills. Hamuyan is recruited by Chatom to kill Chat. Hamuyan accepts as Chat is supposed to be a bad guy and Hamuyan needs money. Police officer Chayo intervenes before they can kill each other. Surin (Apiwadee) is doing well in fighting skills also. Following the failure, Chatom orders to kill Hamuyan but his sbires fail to execute properly. Later on Hamuyan helps Chat and Surin in difficulty against some ruffians. Chat and Hamuyan decide to go back to the mountain to prevent retaliation from Chatom on the hill tribe. Hamuyan's sister Nai Ying prevents a bomb to explose when Chat's car with Hamuyan passes by but she gets shot. Chatom and his ruffians attack the hill tribe village but are welcome by an explosive reception from Chat, Hamuyan and the hill tribe fighters. Police led by Chayo arrives on time. Even Surin joins the shootings. Finally Chatom and Saen kill each other. Chat was finally an undercover policeman. It is a typical 1980s Thai action movie featuring multiple fights, shootings, undercover policeman. Chomphae 1 was released in 1976. The real part 2 is supposed to be movie “ทุ่งลุยลาย” with Sombat Methanee released in 1978. This Chom Phae 2 doesn’t feature the main leading actor, i.e. Sombat Methanee and tries to bank on the box office success of part 1.

The boss hires two thugs from Bangkok to work with Pinyo to get rid of Eh. They are the two thugs, who got beaten by Eh so they want to take their revenge. Pinyo (สัตว์นรก) is then killed also. The two thugs get punished again. Ah Kadet pushes Tor to kill Eh if he wants to get back his parents' belongings. Finally Eh gets rid of Ah Kadet in a shipyard. Eh shall marry with Sa next month but Tor, unaware of Ah Kadet’s death, shall still execute his orders...

Noun (Tuanton Kammeesri) is a journalist refusing corruption and doing inquiries on Nard. Mai (Supansa Nuengpirom) is a young lady, whose mother was also killed by Nard due to business conflict. Kowit Wattanakul is close friend of Wan and introduces him to Mai. Mafia leader Nard Poowanai is trying to become member of parliament and is supported by Wiyada Umarin, his girlfriend. Wan starts to get revenge. Nard's right hand is first killed by Wan. Nard suspects Mai. Then Wan shots Kamlee (Paen Pleumsachai) and warns Nard that soon it will be his turn. Wan is introduced to the ruffians as new shareholder with Mai. It is a trick to be close to the ruffians and the next one to be killed is Pumi Patanayut. Noun is investigating on those killings. Wan and Kowit are identified to be behind the murders. Kowit is shot by ruffians while visiting uncle Sai (Pipop Pupinyo). Wan has no choice but to continue in order to get rid of mafia leader Nard. Nard hires a hitman to get rid of Wan but it fails. Chat Mongkolchai kidnaps โสธรณ์ in order to find where Wan is hiding. As Mai is passing, she is kidnapped and โสธรณ์ is killed. Chat (หน้าตัวเมีย) wants to force Mai to sign documents. Wan successfully releases Mai and chases after Nard until he kills him. Wan is finally pardoned by Thai police thanks to Mai’s plea.

As some parts of the movie are missing the storytelling is sometimes awkward. Movie director is ถาวร พริ้งสกุล. Doo (Doo Dook Kradon) is captured by a group of men and is forced for a wedding. The daughter's father, Boo Wibunnan, is the owner of a big hotel in Bangkok and wishes Doo to move to Bangkok to help take care of the hotel. The wedding is a failure. Cheut (Kowit Wattanakul) works with his father in the car repair business. The elder brother is absent. Ruffians including เมือง อพอลโล่ kill the father and mother but Cheut succeeds to flee. Bancha (Kecha Plianvithee) is the mastermind as he wants the land (ที่ดิน). Cheut's girlfriend (ทิพย์มณี ญาณี), teacher Manee, informs him. Ruffians ask him to leave the city but he refuses. Cheut's brother is Chat (Chaiya Suriyun), a small policeman. Ruffians try to kill the two brothers but fail. Linda, ผู้ช่วย (Apiradee Pawaputanon), is nominated to help Chat. Linda arrives by boat driven by Chot (Toon Hiransap). As the two brothers are surrounded by ruffians (หมาหมู), they get support from policeman Krung Srivilai. The two brothers promise to get revenge for their parents. Linda, the subdistrict officer’s daughter, asks villagers not to be afraid of ruffians as Thai police are on their side. Bancha warns the sub district officer, his daughter Linda, Chot and Doo not to interfere in their business. Chot is not willing to help so he gets scolded by Chat and Cheut. Linda and Manee are kidnapped by ruffians. Cheut and Chat succeed to release Linda. Policeman Krung tries to arrest ruffians. As some ruffians are found dead, he suspects Cheut. The sub district officer is killed. Krung, Chot and Linda try to embuscade Bancha to arrest him but it fails. Somebody is shooting the ruffians with a magnum 357 but nobody knows who the shooter is. Deputy Panom is involved. Bancha is his younger brother so he protects him. Finally ruffians are neutralized and Bancha is shot dead.

Monk Seua and Bin cross a lake but they are attacked by a crocodile. Bin brings bad luck (ซวย) to the monk. They arrive in a ruffian’s camp led by Chat Mongkolchai and Seua Noi (Bin Banleurit). Bin follows behind but is stopped by the ruffians. Monk Seua meets Thai Police, who ask him if he saw any ruffians campement. Police attack the camp and Bin can succeed to flee. Seua Noi is upset and promises revenge as he believes Luang Pho Seua and Bin are undercover policemen. Ruffians try to burn Luang Pho Seua but Bin intervenes. Luang Pho escapes to the flames but he is chased by ruffians. Hopefully, hill tribes, led by Kom (Kom Akadej), chase them away. Bin is injured and cured by beautiful doctor Khru Mo (ครูหมอ) (ชลิดา เสาวดี). The village head is worried about revenge by Seua Khaem. Bin meets again the three men chasing him and has to flee. While fleeing, he meets Luang Pho Seua again. Hilltribe lady Baan Su Thong (Thitima Sangkapitak) is fond of Bin. They spend the night together, but Bin flees in the morning, so Baan Su Thong is looking for him. Ut (Dam Datsakorn) enters in the hilltribe village. A fight occurs between Bin and Ut. Ut is defeated. Kom saves the honor of his younger sister Baan Su Thong. Ut requests help for another ruffians’ leader (Rith Luecha). Ruffians storm the village. Many ruffians and villagers die in the fighting. Baan Su Thong is killed. Seua Noi is seriously injured by Bin. Khru Mo is kidnapped by Ut to cure Seua Noi. Finally, Seua Noi leaves as he feels better but as he gets sick again. Seua Noi gets help from Luang Pho Suea and is cured. He realizes that Luang Pho Suea is a real monk and a good man. Seua Noi's father is Seua Khaem. Luang Pho Seua is a former policeman. While trying to catch Seua Khaem many years ago, Luang Pho Seua shot his wife, being Seua Noi's mother, by mistake. So, the policeman became a monk. Hill tribe members and Bin surround the ruffians’ camp. Seua Kaem (Manop Aussawathep) wishes to take revenge and to shoot the monk but Seua Noi intervenes and is shot instead. Devastated, Seua Kaem gives up on his revenge. Luang Pho has been carrying the wife's bones with him and has been wandering around Thailand in order to meet Seua Khaem.

Thai movie นักเลงสิบล้อ was released in year 1985 and it lasts 1h37mn. Wut (Sorapong Chatree)(ลูกพี), son of owner of a truck company (รถสิบล้อ), comes urgently from Thailand following request from Lak (Lak Apichat) as his father just died (งานศพ). Sarawat (Nard Poowanai) tries to arrest him as he is over speeding to be on time to the funeral. A bomb explodes during the funeral. His mother (เจ้าภาพ) dies also. Revenge shall happen as his parents' death is a murder. The one, who carried the bomb, is identified as a lady, called Pim (พิมพ์ใจ พรหมมาลี), working in a karaoke. Sia Song (Somkuan Krajangsat), her boyfriend, is aware they spend the night together. Decha (Rith Luecha) is his right hand. Young lady Suntalee (Apiradee Pawaputanon) is leading a mining site and also selling durians (ทุเรียนแม่ค้า). Through a daring tentative, Wut and his team empty Decha's truck causing Sia to lose a lot of money. Umarin is selling trucks. Sia Song is also the shop owner. Wut enquiries on Sia through Song. Sarawat has arguments with tough men but refuses corruption money. As he is always accused to be too strict, he removes his policeman insignia to teach a lesson to the tough drivers. Sia Song orders to shoot Wut but he is only injured him. He gets closer to Suntalee and tells her that he is an undercover policeman. Four men, part of Suntalee's team, plan to betray her in order to steal precious stones (พลอย). Challenged and overwhelmed by the ruffians (คุณจะไม่มีโอกาสเห็นขาอ่อนฉัน), she gets help from Choomporn Theppitak. The traitors join Sia Song’s team. Sarawat and Wut try to prevent ruffians doing dirty business at the border. Weapons are hidden in rice bags. They chase Decha driving a big truck carrying teak trees. Drug is hidden in teak trees. Wut and the trucks encircle Sia Song forcing him to surrender. Many great famous Thai actors are present in this movie but the directing is a bit weak. Luk Thung (ลูกทุ่ง) countryside music about trucks is featured in this movie. Trucks (สิบล้อ) in Thailand are ornamented with many drawings and colors.

It was never released under VCD or DVD format. Thup (Bin Banleurit) is a truck driver delivering goods. His close teammate is named Noi. Thup is getting delivery orders from a warehouse managed by subdistrict headman Chai. Ruffian Chat Mongkolchai is working for subdistrict headman Chai. Each time, they refill petrol, the trucks must pay 20 THB extra fee (ค่าน้ำมัน). This is extortion and it makes Thup and his friends, Krong and Kamsai, very upset. Thup meets his old soldier friend played by Krung Srivilai. Thup still has his mother (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) and a younger sister called Thien. Thup realises that the ruffians try to hide opium in the goods he has to transport. He refuses and quits the warehouse. Subdistrict headman Chai threatens him to keep quiet. Thup helps Rung (Mai Charoeunpura) having her truck stuck in a trench. Subdistrict headman Chai calls local banks and has Thup blacklisted in all local companies. Thup cannot find a new job. Luckily Rung proposes him to work for her and to transport jars (โอ่ง) from Bangkok. He has arguments with Chat and his men when visiting Krung's restaurant. Ruffians try to prevent him to pay back his truck, but it fails. Thup and Noi are ambushed by Chat and his ruffians. Noi is shot by ruffians. It is time for revenge. Thup, helped by Krong and Kamsai, storm a restaurant and shoot Chat and three of his men. Police try to arrest Thup but he flees. Ruffians storm his home and shoots his mother. His sister and Rung are captured. Thup storms subdistrict headman Chai’s warehouse to know where his sister and Rung are held prisoners. Chai tells the location and is then arrested by the Police. To avoid long term jail, he also discloses the ruffians’ den location, i.e. a remote cave. Thup, Krong and Kamsai enter the place while police and Thai soldiers also try to overcome the place. Thup finds his sister having been killed. The big boss is Krung. Thup is disappointed that Krung, as a soldier, who served Thailand, can behave like this. Thup gets a flamethrower and takes revenge over Krung, who hurt his family very badly.

Pen and Tong (Sorapong Chatree) meet each other in a bus going to Chiang Mai. Nobody knows the real reason of Tong arrival to Chiang Mai. He just comes to rest and to see a friend called Den. A few people are killed by a hitman (มือปืน) and acolytes in a pool club. Tong is witness of the murder. He shots one killer. Pen's business is also threatened by local mafia. Chiang Mai area is dominated by two local mafia heads. A lady called Gnam seduces Tong to know the truth regarding his visit to Chiang Mai but to no avail. Gnam is linked to mafia. The two mafia rings fight each other. During a shooting at the Chiang Mai airport by another hitman, a young man called Suchai helps to protect Saichai, daughter of Somchai (Rith Luecha), mafia leader. Suchai gains the trust of Somchai. The two mafia leaders decide to unify their efforts instead of fighting. Gnam is killed during a fight between Tong and a ruffian. Finally Suchai gets information that both mafia team will gather in Don Pui area to sell drug. Gun fights happen between mafia and the police helped by Tong, Den and Suchai. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Tong carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. The movie features fightings shot with a Hong Kong action movie style. As often during such Thai action movies, it is revealed that the main characters were undercover policemen. Many Thai action movies in 1980s decade include influence from Hong Kong movies and American movie Rambo II fighting style.

A Japanese soldier is stranded in Thailand. His plane crashed. He is rescued by a Thai family. The Japanese gets married with their daughter but she dies when giving birth to a daughter. Twenty years have passed. An armed group arrive in the village. They are looking for the old Japanese gold that is supposed to be hidden inside a cave. Yem (Sorapong Chatree) is protecting the group. Another armed group is already occupying the area. Gun fights occur between the two groups. Following various fights, kidnapings and so on... the Japanese former soldier triggers an explosion inside the cave so that nobody can get the gold. Phra Athit (พระอาทิตย์) means sun but also gold. This movie has nothing to do with the movie "ลูกสาวพระอาทิตย์" shot in 1968. It is a typical grade B action movie from decade 1980s with kung fu fights and gunfight sequences. It includes a little of romance and a lonesome hero who prefers to stay in the forest than going back to modern world. Favorite sentence of such movies is "cha tham arai to pai" (จะทำอะไรต่อไป) - What shall we do next? During the anti-communist years, Sorapong Chatree played soldiers and mercenaries in perhaps 100 action films. Most of these were low-profile, though some were popular as they played to the national sentiment.

During Vietnam war some Thai soldiers are facing the Vietcong resistance. It is their last days of their engagement. One of them, Athit, has a Vietnamese girlfriend called Cheut Cheun, but needs to be separated from her. Athit promises to come back. Due to the South Vietnam invasion by North Vietnam, he cannot keep his promise. Many Vietnamese boat people then flee to Hong Kong. Cheut Cheun's father forces his daughter to leave Vietnam in order to secure a better future for her. The smugglers are part of the mafia. Those evil men rape the young girl on the boat. The boat is hijacked by Thai ruffians and the boat people are put in a cage. The young girls are transferred to another boat by the ruffians, who wish to send them to Thailand. Athit and his friend Wat accidentally see Cheut Cheun. She was sent to a bordel. Athit promises to help. Cheut Cheun refuses to obey the mamasan (มาม่าซัง) so faces wrath from her and is tortured (ทรมาน). The mamasan considers the girls (เด็กผู้หญิง) as things and now wishes to send them to singapore due to the deranging noise made by Athit. It is difficult for Athit to free Cheut Cheun due to the mamasan's bad influence (อิทธิพล). He wishes to buy a ticket to send her back to Vietnam. He convinces the police to investigate and helps to gather proofs. He doesn't have enough money to buy her back so he tries to organize an escape but it fails. His friend Wat is killed. The police finally arrests (จับ) the mamasan and her ruffians. This movie highlights the boat people phenomena and the mafia taking profit of it. The main actress is from Philippines. She might had less concern that Thai actresses to play sexy scenes. Soundtrack from Dario Argento's horror movies is used.

Thai movie ยิงทิ้ง was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h20mn but parts of the movie are cut. Ruffians shoot a van transporting money (ปล้นเงินเดือน). Lak Apichat is injured. Police arrives and catches ruffians but Wong (Chat Mongkolchai) and Pon (Pipop Pupinyo) succeed to flee. Pon hides the money but is also arrested later so Wong doesn't know where the money was hidden. Wut (Sorapong Chatree) is police inspector. He is married to Na (วชิรา วงษ์วัชร์), who complains he doesn't give enough time to his family (เป็นหน้าที่). Head of police Choomporn Theppitak enquiries if Lak is involved in the robbing or not. Choomporn gives the case to Wut. By enquiring, Wut meets Wong and Pao Porapak but they succeed to escape due to the mistakes of other policemen. Wong and Pao succeed to release Pon. Choomporn asks Wut to get them back but Wut requests an assistant (ผู้ช่วย), i.e. Lak. As Pon is reluctant to give back the money, Wong kidnaps his wife (พิศมัย ภุมมา). Meanwhile Wut and Lak are chasing Pol also. They fail to catch Wong and Pao despite Pol leads them to their house. Wut verifies that Mon (Sinaporn Philailak) doesn't hide Wong anymore. Choomporn starts to lose patience as Wong is still not captured by Wut. By spying Mon, Wut finally gets back the money but Wong succeeds to escape. Wong kidnaps Na in order to force Wut to give back the money. Following fightings and shootings with ruffians, Wut, Lak and Na defeat them. Lak ends up in jail as he still has to pay for his previous bad behavior. A four minutes trailer is also still available. It features sexy scenes cut off from VHS release.

Thai movie ตามฆ่า was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h46mn. The VHS release is very sharp. The movie was also released overseas by Filmark movie production. It is called "Twinkle Ninja Fantasy". It is mixing the Thai movie and Ninja sequences shot in Hong Kong. Vin (Lak Apichat) organises gambling on a mining site. Manager (ผู้จัดการ) Somchai (Krai Kanchit) decides to give him a harsh lesson. Kiet (Sorapong Chatree) interposes as Somchai is going too far. Fighting erupts and You (Sinaporn Philailak) has to stop them. The big boss Thana (Boo Wibunnan) refuses to fire Kiet as he is a good staff. You is Thana's girlfriend but she is also Somchai's mistress. As Kiet has to transport important company goods, Somchai plans to get rid of him. As Kiet's sister has a domestic accident, Kiet cannot go. Vin then leads the convoy, which is attacked by ruffians. Only Vin succeeds to escape as the ruffians believe he falls from a cliff. You pushes to marry with Thana (แม่เลี้ยง) but this latter wishes to inform his son coming back from overseas first. As the convoy is robbed, Somchai accuses Kiet to be the mastermind behind. Pinyo tries to convince Vin to accuse Kiet but as he refuses, he is beaten and left for dead. Thana doesn't trust Somchai so he wishes to replace him by his son. Aware, Somchai hires Chat Mongkolchai to attack the next convoy led by Thana and Kiet. All staff die including Thana. Only Kiet escapes but his sister gets killed as he takes refuge in his home. Somchai now plans to kill Thana's son called Virayut (วีรยุทธ รสโอชา). While exiting the train station, ruffians chase and shoot Virayut. Luckily doctor Wana (ปรางค์ วงศ์วัช)(แสนสวย) passes by and saves his life. Pipop Pupinyo and Pao Porapak storm the doctor's house to find the son. Wana chases them on time before any killing occurs. Virayut wishes to kill Kiet as You brainwashed him that he is the killer. Ruffians try to kill again Virayut but they fail so they kidnap the doctor Wana. Meanwhile Virayut follows Lak to find Kiet. Following fighting, Virayut understands that Kiet is innocent. Understanding that Somchai doesn't love her, You tries to release Wana but it is too late and she gets killed. Kiet gets revenge over Chat Mongkolchai by putting a grenade in his mouth. Knowing that Somchai is planning to flee overseas by boat, Thai police, Kiet, Vin, Virayut storm the pier to release Wana. The boat succeeds to escape but Kiet and Virayut are on board. Through a final fight, Somchai is killed. As often in Thai movies, it is discovered that Virayut is a Bangkok police officer. Before going to Bangkok, he promotes Kiet as new manager and Vin as intendant. This Thai includes many stereotypes from 1980s Thai action movies.

Ithipon (Sahat Piempongsan) and Decha are two mafia leaders fighting for drugs control. They have a deal worth of 4M baht but Ithipon doesn’t go by himself and sends a bait. It was a trick as the bait is killed and Ithipon doesn't get the drug in exchange of the money. Sa (Apiradee Pawaputanon) and Jak (Sorapong Chatree) are loving each other but Jak is coming from a poor background (ธานะไม่เหมือนกัน) so Sa’s mother doesn't like him so much. Mot is a local police inspector always looking for proofs to arrest Ithipon and Decha. Jak's mother is played veteran actress Sarinthip Siriwan. It was one of her last movies. Protection fee (ค่าคลุม) needs to be paid by the mother, small restaurant owner, to the mafia led by Ithipon. As Jak refuses to pay, a fight erupts and one of the thugs is killed with his own knife while trying to stab Jak. Jak takes refuge in Decha's clan. His father is killed as a revenge by Ithipon's ruffians. A rich businessman fed up by Ithipon’s continuous requests asks Decha to get rid of him. Ithipon is shot at his home. Jak and Jon (Lak Apichat) are seen there despite Jak only injured Ithipon. A hitman being there is the one who killed Ithipon. Police inspector Sak is Sa’s promised fiance but she doesn’t love him. Sa's father is kidnapped. Following arguments with Jon and other thugs to release Sa's father, Jak gets injured (เพื่อนทรยศ) but succeeds to help the father. Jon promises to get revenge. Sa’s parents thank Jak for having released the father and wish him good luck. Jon finds Jak and tries to kill him. Following fierce fighting, Jon is finally the one to die. Jak wishes to take revenge over Ithipon. He shoots him and his remaining thugs. But police is now chasing Jak, Afraid he flees but finally surrenders when the police reminds him his duties over his mother and girlfriend Sa. Thai movie ฆ่าปิดปาก released in year 1987 has a length of 1h23mn. The original film is certainly longer but may have been cut by Lepso to fit in VCD format.

Some ruthless ruffians kill villagers and threaten them as their leader, called Chun, was arrested by the police following a denunciation. Winai, head of forest rangers, is captured by the mafia in order to exchange Chun. Chun's daughter, called Plae, is leading the capture. Nai, a soldier, is living with his wife in a neighbouring village. While he is away, his wife Waew is raped and killed by the ruffians. Nai complains to the police. The local police head proposes to him to share the 200 000 Baht reward to get back Winai. Meanwhile the ruffians succeed to free Chun during a prison transfer. Nai helps Chun and his daughter to escape the police chase. His target is to infiltrate Chun's ruffians team and find who kills his wife. Chun's teammates also wish to get the 200 000 Baht reward. Once Nai arrives in the village, one of the leader, called Chat, refuses to exchange Chun with Winai and kills Chun. Nai is captured and put prisoner in a cage. Chun's daughter, Plae, has arguments with Chat and flees the campement. She frees Nai. Chat wishes to exchange Winai versus the money reward. Chat needs money to build a bigger team of ruffians. Nai takes revenge over the ruffian who killed his wife and succeeds to free Winai, head of forest rangers. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Nai carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. All ruffians are killed. Police arrives late. Nai and Plae defeats Chat and the rogue policeman doesn't get any reward. It is a typical 1980s Thai action movie based on revenge plot, mistreated villagers and corrupted policeman.

San is a soldier. His father and sister, called Samon, are working in a mine concession looking for precious stones. The father finds a big ruby. The head of the concession wants to buy it at a low price but the father refuses. While San is at the Thai border, the head of the concession uses tough men to get the gem. San's father is killed but the gem is not found. The head of the concession takes San's sister as his girlfriend as she believes he is a nice man. Back to the village, San knows that the head of the concession is responsible of his father's death and has arguments with his sister. The concession head uses tough men to get rid of San and he is badly injured. He takes refuge in a Buddhist cave and is rescued by a wandering forest monk. He gives him a sacred Buddha amulet for protection. People with good intention are protected by the Buddha sacret amulet. Thanks to the sacred amulet, bullets cannot hurt San. San finally overcomes the head of the concession and his tough team. This movie is typical of 1980's action movies where the main actor always faces local god father protected by many tough men. He fights without support from the police. Local people enjoyed such kind of movie enhancing family relationship, Buddhist traditions and moralistic story.

During a parliament session inauguration, two members of a party are shot by a hitman. One dies. The son, called Ek (Chatchai Plengpanich), decides to investigate in order to find the murderer and motive. Ek locates Saeng, the hitman but this one is killed as he didn't do his job properly. Saeng's sister, Sopha, sees Ek's face and believes he shot her brother. Damrong, deputy (ผู้แทน) of the same party is also shot and killed. Wadee (Apiradee Pawaputanon), his girlfriend, also wishes to know the motive. Police suspects bad politics motives. Pramod is the political opponent of Damrong. San, policeman, is investigating on this case. Ek is captured by some ruffians while investigating. Chat is the ruffians’ leader who killed Saeng. San helps Ek on time but Chat is shot before disclosing any information. Sopha comes to apologize to Ek on her behalf of her dead brother. Wadee wishes to continue Damrong's goal to build a school in a slum. There is style opposition between Sopha, pure lady working as singer at nighttime and Wadee. A romance starts between Ek and Sopha. Ek needs also to spend time with Wadee on the project to build a school. Ek identifies that the head of ruffians was driving the motorbike used by Saeng to shot Damrong. He is linked to Pramod and his acolyte Vinai, highly suspected as corrupted politicians. By investigating on Pramod and Vinai, Ek is captured but released by Wadee. Pramod gets rid of Vinai as he is getting too cowardly and afraid of investigations so he cannot be trusted anymore. Ek is accused of Vinai murder. Meanwhile Sopha succeeds to get Pramod’s secret documents showing his involvement in illicit business. Ek's uncle is killed while trying to protect Sopha. Sopha is kidnapped. As they cannot wait for the police, Ek and Wadee have no choice but to storm Pramod's home in order to rescue Sopha. It is a typical action movie from 1980s decade related to ruffians and featuring many shootings and fights.

Thai บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h18mn. It is an estimation only as the movie seems to have been released in level 2 standalone theaters (โรงชั้นสอง) only. It is a low budget movie. The soundtrack belongs to other movies such as “Shaft”. There are quite a few nice sequences with Sorapong Chatree but the overall film editing is average. It is in fact a movie made with other movies sequences from Sorapong Chatree so that is why the editing is so poor! The numerous love sequences seem here only to ensure the movie can last 1h18. A new police officer (ผู้กอง) Kamtenthong (Sorapong Chatree) arrives in North of Thailand. A ring leader called Dam has dirty businesses such as helping people to cross Thai border illegally, drugs traffic, smuggling of weapons. Many fights and shootings happen between wealthy men (พ่อเลี้ยง) teams. Dam (Rith Luecha) benefits of it until police starts to involve into his business also to stop the numerous killings. Finally police rushes into Dam's ranch and neutralize the ruffians and hitmen. But the leaders are not here. Dam's secretary, Pen, is the one informing the police. It causes the ruffians’ leaders to believe the other team betrays them as police is always there when weapons trading is happening. Dam is finally also neutralized through a final shooting. Pen was an uncovered policeman. It is a typical Thai action movie from 1980s mixing some Hong Kong style action sequences such as flying jump. Year 1987 was very prolific with action movies as Panna Rittikrai started to release his own action movies also. Movie บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ features a few actors from 1970s action movies such as Phairoj Jaising but they look quite tired except Sorapong Chatree.

Thai movie ฉลามเสือวังตะเคียน was released in year 1987. The movie lasts 1h33mn. Three ruffians chase two young ladies. They only succeed to catch one girl. Dao Reuang (อรุโณทัย จิตตรีขันธ์) succeeds to flee. She tells her mother (Marasri Bangchang) the whole story. The father tries to rescue his daughter but finally both are killed. Later on a group of soldiers (ทหารเรือ) led by หมวด Tieng (Chatchai Plengpanich) storm a ruffians' place heavily armed. Then Tieng arrives in a small city. He helps a night lady called Rarai. Her father wanted to become rich thanks to jewels (พลอย) but he died before. Chat Mongkolchai is a local notable. Tieng wins back his land titles against subdistrict officer Krai Kanchit. Tieng authorises the notable to stay on the land but claims he will marry his daughter Kaew (Nareerat Monsiri). Ruffians try to kill him at nighttime but they fail. The ruffian leader, called เจ้าพ่อ Wang Takhien (Kanchit Kwanpracha) or Athon, is concerned of losing his influence (บารมี) and power (อำนาจ) towards villagers. He decides to get rid of Tieng and threatens the local doctor also through some shots on his office (สถานีอนามัย). Village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) and sub district officer Krai are also involved and corrupted with Athon. Chat's wife called Soi also. Tieng and the village leader shot each other because of Soi. Tieng is seriously injured but his friends protect him while he is recovering. Soi is the mistress of Athon. She is pregnant. Soi pushes Kaew versus Dao as both have interest in Tieng. Ratana is Athon's son and he wishes to have Kaew as his wife. Rarai has her own plan to replace Athon. Subdistrict officer Krai kidnaps Kaew and kills her father. A hitman shots the doctor and Dao's mother. Tieng and his friends decide to storm the ruffians place in order to release Kaew. Heavy fightings do occur. Everybody dies except Tieng, Kaew and Dao.

Wee knows that Kata is a hitman but doesn't disclose the truth to her brother as Kata is doing good for the society by getting rid of bad men. Ruffians, having clarified that there is no internal war between them, decide to gather to get rid of Kata. Somsak Chaisongkram chases him in a mall and Kata is beaten. Police head Chatree is upset to see Wee having issues when being with Kata. She was shot and almost kidnapped. Wee is hiding something to him. Lin is upset to see Kata with Wee. Lin loves Kata, but she knows she has no way to become his official girlfriend (แฟน). She is playing double game. She is helping Wee, being captured by ruffians to attract Kata in a trap. She is identified as traitor by ruffians and later Lin is found dead. Ruffians take revenge on Yot’s aunt (Marasri Bangchang). Chatree has no proofs but reminds Kata that law shall be applied for all (หน้าที่ของกฎหมาย) but Kata refuses. Kata and Yot storm the hangar where ruffians are exchanging drugs. Fiercely fighting is occurring as Kata is having a submachine gun. Ruffians are defeated but Yot is killed. Krai is finally captured by Chatree.
