Riem is the daughter of the district leader. Khwan is the son of a peasant. They have been friend since childhood. While growing, love emerges but Riem's father sends her to Bangkok to marry the child of a rich family. When the bridegroom comes back to the village with Riem, tragic confrontation is happening with Khwan. It is a remake of the famous movie "The old scar" - แผลเก่า directed by Cherd Songsri in 1977.
