It is based on a story of the famous Thai poet Sunthorn Phu. Two brothers are expelled from their kingdom by their father. A lady giant ("YAK" - ยักษ์) abducts one of them to be her husband. After a few years, this latter decides to flee with a mermaid with who he is in love. Will they succeed to escape from the lady giant and will he ever see his brother again?
