It deals about the adventures of Thai cowboys sending cattle through Isan area to Nakhorn Ratchasima. Outlaws are waiting to steal the buffaloes. The "Nai Hoi" were historical local cattle merchants leading buffalos from Isan to the central regions of Thailand to sell them. This movie has an unique feature, i.e. actors use Isan language to speak. This movie highlights the life of rural people in Isan in historical times. A Thai TV serie based on the movie was shot in 2001.
