The movie was released in Thailand under VCD format and a four minutes trailer also remains to be seen. This movie is a mix of action and comedy. A gathering of scout (ลูกป้า) is happening. A rampage, led by Yai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and Phan (Dam Datsakorn), happens as all participants are killed except Suriya Chinaphan. The village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) is shot by Phan. Den (Sombat Methanee) and Aranya Namwong, daughter of the village leader, arrive at same time in the village Don Krating (ดอนกระทิง). Den orders fresh milk and has issues with ruffians led by Phan. Den is singing Likay and is strong at shooting and fighting. Plio (Sayan Chantaraviboon), Jirasak Pinsuwan (จีรศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) and Suriya Chinaphan trap Yai but fail to kill him. Den asks to talk to Kamnan Tat Ekathat in private. Aranya decides to take over his father's activities. Her younger brother Suriya also joins her. One evening at a restaurant Den and Suriya help each other to punch the ruffians so they sympathize together. Ruffians decide to step in as Aranya wishes to federate peasants against Yai. They fail to kill Sawin Sawangrat but Den is captured and tortured. อาจารย์ Sawin and a small kid called Khom help Den. Srinuan, daughter of Yai, always discusses with Plio and shares information with him. Kamnan Tat Ekathat is killed by Yai and his daughter Dok Kaew kidnapped. Yai wishes to abuse her (ใช้กรรม) but hopefully Dok Kaew is released by Suriya. Fake policemen arrest Den, Suriya and Dok Kaew. Den is attached to a moving car by ruffians. Hopefully Aranya and Jirasak can help before it is too late. Srinuan tries to convince her father to stop but to no avail (ไม่ต้องมาสั่งสอน). Phan is having an affair with ChotChoi, Yai's wife. Phan kills those, who discovered him with ChotChoi. Sawin is called as undertaker (สัปเหร่อไม่มีวัด) by ruffians! Two ruffians leaders are opposed to each other (เสือเฒ่าพบสิงห์หนุ่ม) as Yai faces Phan (เพื่อนทรยศ). Den then faces Yai in a final duel but Aranya is the one to shoot him deadly.

Thongchan (Phaophan Phongnathee - เผ่าพันธุ์ พงษ์นที) takes part successfully in a harsh training camp. He wishes to take part in a specific mission but is rejected and even imprisoned. He decides to flee. He escapes the base thanks to a plane. Lady Arunee (Metta Roongrat) (คุณหญิง) is married to Thongchai, an influential politician. Tat (Tat Ekathat), friend of Thongchai, is organizing his protection. Despite this protection, a murder tentative through injection is done on Thongchai. His son Thongchan is back and accuses Arunee but he gets arrested by Tat. Thongchan succeeds to flee. He gets involved in a political protest. Traitors (คนขายชาต) are trying to bring insurrection (วินาศกรรม) in Thailand. Ratchada (Pissamai Wilaisak) is distributing leaflets during protests and discovers a bomb. She is kidnapped by the ruffians. Witness of the kidnapping, Thongchan helps Pissamai as she is thrown away from the van driving at full speed. Thongchan rescues Pissamai and brings her to a safe hotel room. Ruffians use poisonous spiders to try to kill her but it fails. A mysterious organisation (องค์การ เก้ายอด) is using drugs to convince young people to follow them. Members wear Yak (ยักษ์) mask. A mysterious leader tries to stop Ratchada and Thongchan but they succeed to escape. Real 1973 or 1976 protests footage are used. Protests are politically motivated (ศัตรูของชาติ). The organisation has no pity for its own member as Thomas Cheng (Krai Kanchit) and Nancy (Sirikwan Nanthasiri) get killed. Arunee is also strangled. Tat is identified as the traitor leader. It turns ugly when Thongchan, Ratchada and Thongchan's father, Thai PM, are kidnapped. To avoid signing papers giving full power to the criminal organisation, the father sacrifices his life to release his son. Through a final confrontation, Thongchan, Thai boxing expert, defeats the ruffians using his martial arts skills. Thai Army arrives on time. The hidden den explodes and finally it is revealed that both Thongchan and Ratchada are undercover secret service officers. Thai movie เก้ายอด was released in year 1977 just a few after the tragic events of 1976.

Thai movie ใครใหญ่ใครอยู่ / The great outlaw was released in year 1976 and lasts 2h08mn. The movie was released on VCD format in Thailand by company XxX (Triple X). Movie director is เสนีย์ โกมารชุน. Lom is having a boat transportation business on the river. Nai Prakit's ruffians (including Pan Borapet and เมือง อพอลโล่) are threatening Lom's team (Tat Ekathat). Nai Prakit (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to marry Lom's daughter, i.e. Nam Rong (Aranya Namwong) but Lom refuses. Nai Prakit's team shoots Lom's boats and crew. Lom's staff decides to leave as they are afraid to be killed. Nam Rong proposes to talk to Nai Prakit in order to find a solution. Threatened by ruffians, Nam Rong gets help from an unknown man named Chuey (Sombat Methanee). She hires him! Peace is proposed to Nai Prakit but he is refused. Chuey is the son of an old friend of Lom. Lin See Thong (Uten Boonyong) arrives in the city and comes to eat sweets at Sida's shop (Pawana Chanajit). Fighting occurs with ruffians as one of them dislikes Lin See Thong trying to seduce Sida. Lin See Thong asks to join Nai Prakit's team. Rampeung (Moeifa) is Prakit's girlfriend. Prakan (ลูกรัก)(Dam Datsakorn) is back per his father's request. Prakit needs his help to destroy Lom's business and gets rid of Chuey. A new policeman (Taksin Jampol) arrives also in the city. He is a strong punch man and trashes ruffians lacking respect to him. Prakan, using small speed boats, disrupts Lom's boat fleet and prevent Lom's goods to be sold on the market. Two ruffians, Mek and Sing, intend to get rid of Lin See Thong as he is getting too close to Nai Prakit. Rampeung seduces Lin See Thong. Mek and Sing ask Nai Prasit to beware Rampeung and Lin See Thong. Ruffians try to storm Lom's house at night time. Shooting happens. Police arrive very fast and ruffians have to retreat. Nai Prakit suspects there is a traitor among them. Even Taksin dares to enter in Nai Prakit’s house (บ้านเจ้าพ่อ). Speed boat fighting occurs as Chuey prepares resistance to the ruffians. Action scene is managed as well as in James Bond movies. Chuey defeats Prakan. Nai Prakit kills Rampeung as she sacrifices her life mentioning the police radio found belongs to her despite it belongs to Lin See Thong. Lin See Thong is kept prisoner in his room as Nai Prakit isn't sure he is innocent or not. Ram Rong is kidnapped by Prakan. Lom and Chuey enter Nai Prakit's home. Meanwhile Thai police is informed, and they arrive by boat. To win time and to allow Thai police to come, Lin See Thong asks for a fight one to one with Chuey to show his sincerity to Nai Prakit. Heavy shootings occur. Lom is shot. Nai Prakit and Prakan are captured. Both Chuey and Lin See Thong are undercover policemen. Policeman Taksin mentions that nobody is big enough to be above the law!

Oon (Pawana Chanajit) is a young single lady. Chosri Misommon is her house's domestic helper and also close friend. Prachuap Ruekyamdee and Chui (Sombat Methanee) are brothers with funny hairstyle. Oon’s mother is played by Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng. It seems there is no more father. Grandmother Malee Wetpraseri is the elder sister of the mother. Oon’s uncle is played by Tat Ekathat. Oon has to be engaged. She wishes to marry Pong (Sayan Chantaraviboon) and is supported by his sister Pleun (Metta Roongrat). Chui keeps disrupting Oon and Pong. Chui has also a fiancee called Kwan since a long time but he doesn't love her. Malee and Chosri are sent to Aunt's home to investigate who is really Chui. Aunt Sulaleewan Suwanthat welcome them. Chui and Ratchin are same person. Oon shall marry Ratchin, who is from a high status family. Oon lies she is no more pure (เสียหาย) as she is Pong’s girlfriend. Ratchin refuses to cancel the wedding and forbids Oon to meet Pong anymore. Engagement (คู่หมั้น) shall happen. Malee is helping Oon to meet Pong. Pong wishes to flee with Oon but Oon cannot do this as it would bring disgrace to her parents and her family name (เกียรติ). As Pong loves really Oon, he has to sacrifice himself (เสียสละ). Chui / Ratchin is aware of Malee’s stratagems. Prachuap meets Pong. Ratchin prevents Oon to meet Pong and wishes to accelerate the wedding. Ratchin asks Pong to stop seeing Oon but Pong asks to meet her a last time. Ratchin still believes Oon is pure and wants to avoid Pong being the first. Oon and Ratchin keep fighting. Finally Oon succeeds to escape from Ratchin. She meets Pong but faints. Pong tries to abuse her but gets stopped on time by Ratchin. Pong's intentions were not as pure as he always mentioned. Oon finally marries with Ratchin. This movie similar to many movies from decades 1960s~1970s is about arranged weddings and early engagement done by parents but it finally ends happily.

Thai movie นักเลงเทวดา was released in year 1975. The VCD lasts 1h32mn. Metta Roongrat as market merchant (แม่ค้า) is harassed by ruffians. A car is driven by a mysterious hitman, who kills most of the ruffians of Kamnan Wattana. Wattana (Tat Ekathat) is upset. Kamnan Wattana's daughter, called Wantanee, is played by Naiyana Shewanan. Orasa Isarangkul is also a market merchant (แม่ค้า). Nobody saw his face but he was wearing a red clothing. Thewada (Sombat Methanee) is wearing a red shirt so he is identified as the hitman. Thewada wishes to revenge his friend Somsak killed by ruffians (เทวดามาคิดบัญชี). Thewada enquiries on various ladies to uncover the mysterious hitman. Somsak's wife (ผู้หญิงใจร้าย)(Sasima Singsiri) is involved in the murder with the help of Sawin Sawangrat. Thewada helps Wantanee (ลูกสาวกำนัน). Thewada is not the mysterious killer in red shirt but is willing to find who is behind. Similar to a Thai James Bond with gadgets and kissing all girls (หลงเสน่ห์). Kamnan Wattana agrees to take him as new staff before being son in law (ลูกเขย)! Thewada gets support from Dam (Kom Akadej). A car ‘chase happens between Thewada and Kan (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri). A sister (Aranya ‘Namwong) and her brother (Choomporn Theppitak) are looking for the man, who killed their father นาย Vitun. They believe Thewada is the killer but he succeeds to escape their house just to be captured by Kan (องค์การ). Pipop Pupinyo is part of Kan's team. A third group is with Sawin and Somsak’s wife. Kan storms Kamnan Wattana's house and kidnaps his daughter. Metta and Osara are also kidnapped. Thewada and Dam then storm Kan's house to release the ladies. Krai Kanchit is part of Kan's team. Fighting and shooting happen until all ruffians are neutralized or killed. The movie ends up with Thewada leaving with both ladies Aranya and Naiyana.

Khun Samong comes in a hotel for one night as it is raining heavily. Her husband chases her but she refuses to follow him up. During the night, she dies being strangled. Footprints on the floor show that the killer is handicapped. The day after a young lady Wilai is coming one night in the same hotel to meet an older man called Siu. He has many banknotes in his suitcase. He also dies and the money disappears. Wilai also dies. The hotel manager Pan finds the money inside his desk drawer. With his partner, he decides to throw away the money in the sea but the banknotes come back with the tide. Khun Samong's husband believes that the hotel management is responsible of his wife's death and the money robbing. So he tries to take revenge over them but it fails. Police is investigating. Khun Samong's husband is also found dead. Finally it is identified that a ghost is living in the hotel. He possessed the hotel manager causing him to walk like a disabled man. Following a chase with the Police, the hotel manager Pan dies. His partner tells a story. Before World War II, Pan flees with a young lady called Sarapee. Sarapee was promised to an older man. This one becomes disabled during World War II due to bombs. He never forgives to Pan and Sarapee. After his death, a house belonging to the older man is given to Pan and Sarapee through legacy. They transform the house into a hotel. Now the ghost is willing to kill all hotel family member one by one, starting with Pan, then his partner. Finally the younger people found that the ghost body is still kept in a crypt below the hotel. They manage to kill the ghost thanks to a sacred Budha image. This movie is different from other Thai horror movies from 1970s decade and more realistic as there are not the usual traditional clown characters that accompany the leading actor.

Her parents (played by Boosara Narumit and Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) prevent her from seeing any boy. Chakapan (Sombat Methanee), a Bangkok young man, falls in love with her and asks for her hand but Sopi's parents refuse (เรื่องหัวใจ). Pim (Metta Roongrat) and Rong Kaomulkadee are having a romance. They keep helping Chakapan and Sopi. Sopi is aggressed by two ruffians, including Pan Borapet, working for the village leader. She flees but falls from a cliff. Chakapan saves Sopi's life so her parents finally accept the wedding but knowing that she shall die following a pregnancy. Sopi is now pregnant. Following delivery, Sopi's deformed face is back, so she flees from home with her child. She ends up dying in Chakapan's arms per the doomed prediction.

Thai movie กระสือสาว / "will-o'-the-wisp" was released in year 1973 and lasts 1h43mn. The movie was never released under VHS/VCD/DVD format in Thailand. Thai movie กระสือสาว was released in 35mm film format and brought new Fx effects in 1973 such as double impression to show the spirit quitting the dead body. It took 3 to 4 months to be shot in the jungle. Thai Film Archives has still a 16mm copy as, in 1973, 16mm projectors were still popular in provinces. Thai Film Archives got it from a donation from a company showing outdoor movies in villages (หนังขายยา). The movie is a bit like the “Nang Nak” movie scenario. It was released under VHS format in Sweden with the original picture, Thai sound and with Swedish subtitles, under the name "Ghost of Guts Eater". The original movie is probably a bit longer as some still pictures show sequences are not present in the Swedish VHS. In the 1970s, a few Thai movie rights were sold in Scandinavia. This movie shows interesting traditional behaviors and patterns such as traditional baby delivery, staying above a hot pot after delivery (การอยู่ไฟ), 100 days ceremony after a relative death, vision of people without head indicating forthcoming death, hidden treasures kept by deity and signalled by an ignis fatuus, Kraseu ghost belief, love filters. Thai movie กระสือสาว is about a traditional folklore ghost called Kraseu (กระสือ). It is a filth-eating floating ghost with a head, a trailing heart and intestines. This ghost loves to eat cordon umbilical and placenta from newborn babies (ผีกระสือจะมากินรกเด็ก). Thai movie กระสือสาว scenario was written by ทวี วิษณุกร and released in two cartoon books in year 1968. Villagers found many dead chickens in their farm. They were eaten by a Kraseu ghost. Villagers followed the floating ghost and hit it critically. A grandmother (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) was in fact possessed by the ghost. Before dying, she gives a ring to her granddaughter, Bua Klee (บัวคลี่)(Pissamai Wilaisak), and asks her not to burn her corpse (so opposite of Thai tradition เผาศพ). Bua Klee then becomes possessed by the Kraseu ghost (ถูกวิญญาญกระสือ). Boon Muang (บุญเมือง)(Sombat Methanee) is her husband. Chat (ฉัตร)(Man Teeraphol), a local thug, still tries to seduce her. Phi Chood (จู๊ด)(Choomporn Theppitak), Boon Muang’s closest friend, and Boon Muang chase Chat away. Bua Klee is now pregnant. The Kraseu spirit is inside the ring and is hungry (ไปหากิน). Bua Klee goes outside to look for filthy food and is identified by a villager. She is named as Krasao Sao (กระสือสาว) as the ghost has a young and pretty face! A fight erupts between Chat and Boon Muang as all villagers claim she is a ghost (ผีกระสือ). Boon Muang refuses (ไม่เชื่อ) such allegations but the villagers push him to verify if his wife is a ghost. So he hits her with a stick to chase the ghost but nothing is happening except tears from Bua Klee. A local shaman (หมอผี) Pradit (Tat Ekathat) invokes a dead spirit (ผีโขมดพราย) to take revenge on Boon Muang and Bua Klee. Yomatut, the hell guardian, comes to get his life as he is a nasty man (ลงนรก). Boon Muang decides to leave the village. They take refuge in a relative home, i.e. uncle Chaeng (Sawin Sawangrat). Bua Klee meets another Kraseu old ghost in the village. Bua Klee is delivering her baby in traditional Thai way by holding a rope attached to the ceiling. The Kraseu old ghost and its husband try to steal the baby. Boon Muang fends them off and hits back. The husband (ผีกะหังและกระสือแก่) dies and the Kraseu old ghost dies in the early sunshine. Boon Muang visits the sub district headman of Dong Dok Kaew area (Chao Klaewklong) to bring him some gifts from uncle Chaeng. Madeua (Metta Roongrat) is the daughter of the sub district headman and is fond of Boon Muang. While accompanied by Madeua, Boon Muang is shot in the arm by Chat. Madeua is disappointed to learn that Boon Muang is already married. She used love potions trick to make him forget his wife and son (เสน่ห์ยาแฝด). Meanwhile Bua Klee wishes to get a treasure (สมบัติ) by seeing an ignis fatuus. When a flame is coming from the ground, it is a spirit haven according to traditional belief. She can get the treasure by showing her nudity! But finally, she needs to give the treasure back to the guardian as she still needs to pay for karma (กรรม). Boon Muang and Madeua marry. Following Bua Klee’s request, Uncle Chaeng goes to the subdistrict headman home. The son Chiep is also coming with a sacred thread to recover his father. On the way Chaeng and Chiep see each other without a head! This is a bad omen indicating a forthcoming death! Uncle Chaeng has to shoot Madeua to protect Chiep. The sub district headman wishes to avenge his daughter. Uncle Chaeng and Chiep are shot dead during the fight. Chood is beaten by Chat. Bua Klee finds uncle Chaeng and Chiep dead bodies. Both Chood and Boon Muang are captured by Chat and the sub district headman. Bua Klee interferes as a Kraseu ghost and causes the sub district headman and Chat to shoot each other. Boon Muang refuses to go back with Bua Klee as she is a Kraseu ghost. Following advice from a hermit, finally the body of the grandmother is burnt, and Bua Klee becomes a normal human being again.

Prai (Kanchit Kwanpracha) and Rung Phet are selling vinyl records during temple fairs. Kwan Dao (Petchara Chaowarat) is visiting the fair also. Prai falls in love with Kwan Dao. He sings romantic song for her. Prai and his friends get beaten by ruffians (including Pan Borapet) because they talked to the daughters of ruffians’ leader Pongdin. Pongdin has a wedding plan for his daughter even she doesn't know or love her future husband. Kwan Dao doesn't want to marry a ruffian (นักเลง). Prai with Rung Phet’s help are looking for Cherm and Chiaw. While paying respect to an old pagoda, Prai and his friends visit a small wooden house. They are attacked by Borapet and his ruffians. Ruffians are pushed back. They discover that the man meditating in the house is uncle Cherm! Cherm brings them to meet former village leader Chiaw’s (Rujira Isarangkul), who is Prai’s grandfather! He is now subdistrict headman (กำนัน). Prai is still looking for his father. He doesn't know if his father is still alive or not. Thai boxing matches are organised in the village for the annual festival. It starts with a dwarf match. Next match features Adinan versus Prai. Kwan Dao needs to give the winning reward. Prai defeats Pongdin’s champion. It ends up by a lady match. Pongdin accepts them as 'children'. Romance songs occur between Prai and Kwan Dao, male singer (รุ่งเพชร แหลมสิงห์) and female singer (กิ่งดาว จันทร์สวัสดิ์). Face to face occurs between Pongdin, uncle Cherm and Prai. Prai is still looking who killed his father. Both of them are beaten and captured by Pongdin's ruffians. Friends ask for subdistrict headman Chiaw's help. Kwan Dao tries to release Prai and succeeds. Prai knows Pongdon killed his father so he needs to take revenge. Prai captures Pongdin and wishes to torture him on a pyre like he tortured his father (รับกรรม). Molee and Cherm tries to convince him not to kill Pongdin. No more sins shall happen. Seeing his mother collapsing makes Prai realises that he was wrong. Pongdin changes and recognizes his mistakes. One evening, Jamroon, being drunk, have arguments with Plok and his men. He gets severely beaten. Plok’s father is played by Sawin Sawangrat. Tamleung (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is another lady fond of Dio. Annual festival (งานประจำปี) occurs and features a boat race. Plok tries to kidnap Tan (ลูกตาล) but Dio helps her on time. Dio escapes beating thanks to her mother but he loses his job in the orchard. They have to leave. Dio visits Tan in her room and they become lovers. About to leave by boat, Tan also comes and announces she is leaving her father as she loves Dio and is now his wife. Kratin and Kut are heartbroken. Dio and Tan take refuge in a relative home. Plok and his father announce to subdistrict headman Phet that they will help to find where Dio and Tan are hiding. Dio and Tan move to a relative's place, being a village leader called Duang. His wife, Mae Sri, is upset and afraid to have problems with subdistrict headman Phet so Dio, Tan and the mother move to Bangkok. Plok decides to kidnap Kratin in order to know where Dio is hiding. His father wishes to have Kratin becoming his minor wife. The issue turns badly as other ruffians fight with the father over Kratin. The father dies and Kut is able to release his sister. Life is harsh in Bangkok and Dio has to be tricycle and taxi driver. A child is born. After two years, they finally move back to Duang's place. Mae Sri informs subdistrict headman Phet, who kidnaps his own daughter with Plok's help. Dio, upset, goes to subdistrict headman Phet's house bringing his son. Phet refuses to Dio to see his wife and pushes him severely out. Hearing that Plok plans to rob subdistrict headman Phet’s house at night time by claiming being Dio, Dio has to help. One of his friends warns the police. Plok is killed during the fightings. Seeing that Dio is finally a good and brave man, sub district headman Phet agrees to an official wedding of Dio and Tan.

Mitr Chaibancha, Adul Dulyarat, Boo Wibunnan are watching ladies Petchara Chaowarat, Wassana Chalakorn, Metta Roongrat launching krathongs in the river during Loy Krathong festival. At nighttime one of the villagers (Pipop Pupinyo) brings the kid for injection. Finally Mitr sympathizes with the shaman and ends up taking care of several children! Metta is aggressed by three ruffians and gets help from Mitr and also a group of children (including famous child actress Tukata Jindanuch). Those children are mischievous. Disappointed not to get Mitr's love, Metta ends up to be drunk. Metta does use a trick on Petchara in order for Mitr to be disappointed by her. Metta prevents her to see Mitr. Mitr and Lor Tok have arguments with policemen and end up in jail. Prachuap Ruekyamdee releases them by using violence and threatening policemen. Mitr injures by the accident a policeman. Arguments are happening between tribe kids and Thai local kids. Petchara is their teacher. Adul Dulyarat, a policeman officer, tries to seduce Petchara. The father Tat Ekathat threatens his daughter of closing the school. Tat Ekathat is aggressed by thieves on a mountain road. Luckily Mitr, Prachuap, Lor Tok are around and chase away the thieves. The three friends realise that Boo Wibunnan is trafficking drug. Behind this traffic, there is involvement of Tat Ekathat and ruffians leader. Fist fighting erupts involving Adinan also. Tat Ekathat stops everybody. It is discovered that the candles on the krathong contain explosives. It looks like Boo Wibunnan and Lor Tok die in an explosion. Mitr and Prachuap are arrested by Adul and Sukon Koewliam, a policeman. They get transfered under military authority, who releases them. Metta is captured with ruffians. Two policemen gets captured also. Meanwhile Mitr follows up Adinan but gets injured by Ekathat's fellow worker. Mitr hides in the school and is treated by Petchara. Adul discovers Mitr in Petchara's room. Things get worse as Petchara is kidnapped and Mitr and Adul are locked in a room with Prachuap. They succeed to flee. Meanwhile Petchara is crucified by hill tribe villagers. Mitr fails to help her and is also crucified. Meanwhile Prachuap follows the ruffians leader and tries to prevent Adinan to rape Wassana Chalakorn. Adul with a bunch of policemen try to release Mitr and Petchara. Finally Prachuap and Wassana Chalakorn flee and release all the hill tribes children. Hill tribes villagers change side seeing their children now released. Ruffians blaze the village. A four minutes trailer is still available and showing some final scenes not present in the 2h08mn left to be seen. A final fight happens between Mitr and the ruffians leader.

Shooting happens and Yot flees. Choomporn Theppitak is part of a gang led by Kecha Plianvithee. Yot belongs to the same gang also. Luechai arrives in Hong Kong. He meets Adul Dulyarat on a boat to exchange drugs against money. The drug is fake and he steals the money by punching Adul. He flees to Bangkok and escapes to Choomporn, who tries to shoot him with a long range rifle. Yot has betrayed (ทรยศ) Kecha. Yot meets singer Pai Lu (Hong Kong actress Regina Pai Ping) in the plane and sympathizes. Mitr disguises himself as Chat, a tough ruffian, to infiltrate Kecha’s gang. Chadaporn Wachirapranee is Chat’s old wife so he punches Sompol Kongsuwan to show he is back. Chao Klaewklong introduces Chat to Kecha. Kecha is looking for a new right-hand man (แขนขวาคนใหม่) as Yot betrayed him. Kecha wishes Chat to get rid of Yot. Ratsamee (Petchara Chaowarat) loves Yot but Yot also loves Pai Lu, who is in fact an undercover policewoman from Hong Kong. Ratsamee warns Yot that Adul is around looking for him. Pai Lu and Ratsamee escape from Adul but get arrested by policeman Lor Tok, who ignore they are from Interpol Police (ตำรวจสากล). A painting called เพชรตัดเพชร is purchased by Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit bidding against Kecha. Miss Boran (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is the sexy painter. Adul wishes to buy the jewel hidden in the painting but this one is now always worn by Miss Boran. The jewel contains a password (รหัด). Choomporn kills Miss Boran to get the jewel but Yot and his team steal it from him also. Pai Lu is surnamed HK 16. Mitr is surnamed BKK 38 (ตำรวจไทยเจ้าชู้อย่างนี้ทุกคนหรือค่ะ?). Mitr helps Pai Lu chased by two ruffians including Choomporn. Chat brings Pai Lu himself to Kecha. Understanding that she is an enemy (ศัตรู), she is condemned to be shot by Choomporn but Chat succeeds to charge the gun with blank bullets. Yot falls in a trap prepared by Adul to steal the diamond but it fails and Adul dies. Yot wishes to make peace with Kecha. Kecha wants only one right-arm man so both Chat and Yot have to fight against each other. Pai Lu and Petchara ask them to stop fighting. They are all captured by Kecha. Part of the movie is then lost here. Wilaiwan shots Ratsamee. Hopefully Pai Lu shots Wilaiwan and can help Ratsamee on time. Thai police attack the ruffians. All are killed or captured but Kecha succeeds to flee. Kecha refuses to surrender to the Thai police and prefers to explode his boat. The movie ends up on a sad note as Pai Lu has to leave Chat to go back back to Hong Kong, Ratsamee is separated from Yot as he has to go to jail. This movie is still available in Hong Kong under title 諜海蛟龍 and was shown on cable TV. The famous song of this movie is ดวงใจ by singer สวลี ผกาพันธุ์. This movie is one of the best confrontations between Thai superstars Mitr Chaibancha and Luechai Natnat. As it is a HK Thai co production, it is interesting to find that the Chinese version poster features Chinese actress Regina Pai Ping’s head in big size. Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat are displayed in small size. But the Thai poster displays more prominently Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat. In the Chinese synopsis, Mitr Chaibancha is written as mi-tsai- wan-chai (Thai detective No 78) and called as Ah Tsai in the movie. Regina Pai Ping (Hong Kong agent No 113) is called as Pai Lu in the movie. Petchara Chaowarat is written as Pi-chai-la and called as Sha Mei in the movie. The movie was so famous that it was released once in year 1966 and then reshown again in year 1975. The original version lasts 2h20mn but the 1975 version was reduced to less than 2 hours as both movies เพชรตัดเพชร and คนเหนือคน were shown together. The DVD released by company Pantamit is based on the 1975 version. It took five years for company Pantamit to convince the film owner to lend it in order to make a digital copy. Another film copy remains in the Thai Film archives.

Thai movie Chum Hat Jai (ชุมทางหาดใหญ่), directed by Sor Asanajinda in year 1966, is lost in Thailand but luckily a sequence of 1h08mn (three last reels) is still left. It was stored in a museum of a Thai temple in the north of Thailand. Only incomplete summary is available. This movie is a mix of comedy, romance and action. This movie was shot in Songkhla area so showing how this southern city was fifty years ago. As the movie is in 16mm format, it requires live dubbing so the remaining extract is in mute state making it more difficult to understand. Sena Prachan (Mitr Chaibancha) is an army officer. Jing Gang (Petchara Chaowarat) is a fearsome young lady (ไม่กลัวใคร). Sena Prachan is pretending being crazy (อาคารเป็นบ้า) in order to spy Chao Likim's (Tawan Siriwat) activities. Ai Darling (foreign actress) is Chao Likim's daughter. Sena's kisses are able to calm down Ai Darling and also Jing Gang while he is investigating on ruffians. Many other characters are present such as Chanee Yotchai as ruffian, Ruj Ronnapop (Mayong), Sukon Koewliam, Choomporn Theppitak, Taksin Jampol (Bo Bang Rajan), Preeya Roongrueng, Adul Dulyarat (captain). Ai Darling and Jing gang fight over Sena Prachan. Tat (Tat Ekathat) is head of police. Mayong is shot facing seven ruffians. Chao Likim hits his own daughter considered as a traitor (ลูกสาวทรยศ). Sena Prachan helps but is also finally captured. Jing Gang’s parents are Somkuan (Somkuan Krajangsat) and Thanyong (Sarinthip Siriwan). Thanyong gets shot while helping Bo Bang Rajan, who is also an undercover military officer. Sor Asanajinda is also playing. A train is chased by a car and an helicopter through Songkhla region landscape. Somkuan, a repent (ผู้ร้ายที่จะกลับใจ), is forced by Chao Likim to be part of a prisoner exchange deal (แลกตัว) but he is carrying a bomb. The movie ends up with multiple shootings between ruffians and the heroes. Somkuan gets shot by Chao Likim but this latter also gets shot by Jing Gang and Sena Prachan.

No news from him are received anymore. Petchara gives birth to a daughter. She marries again believing Mitr is dead. Mitr is not dead but he is now a poor soldier disabled with part of his leg lost. Malee Wetpraseri, mother of Petchara, believes he is a dirty beggar and chases him away. It is a sad story. The movie entered Thai oscars competition on that year also. The 20 seconds sequence is the scene with Petchara wearing a red dress, Mitr as a beggar and grandmother Malee trying to chase him away.

It was released under VCD and DVD format by Thai company TripleX owned by former dubber คุณโต๊ะพันธมิตร. Rumours say there is a ghost (ผี) around Wang Prai (วังไพร) domain. Adinan Singhiran tries to prevent hunter Wikrom to go there. Wikrom is bitten by a snake (งูเจ้า) while entering in Wang Prai to find the ghost. Wang Prai is a 2500 rai domain. Kramom (Preuhat Boonlong) and Ekarin (Tat Ekathat) are now enemies (ศัตรูของพ่อ) due to old family stories over the domain possession. Chai (Mitr Chaibancha) is son of Kramom. Lor Tok is Kramon's attendant. Choompu (Kingdao Daranee) is one of Ekarin’s daughter. Somjit Sapsamruey is Ekarin’s wife. Prapayon (Preeya Roongrueng) wishes to marry Chai but this one has more interest in Koi (Petchara Chaowarat), Ekarin's second daughter. Chai's parents don't like Koi. In fact Chai doesn't approve elders’ decision to be enemies. Phi Pong (Adul Dulyarat) is Koi's elder brother but he has disappeared for many years. In fact Pong is hiding in Wang Prai as he is disfigured following a virus caught during war. Chai is helping him and ghosts rumors are only there to frighten anybody to come near Wang Prai. Chai's brother (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), a doctor, comes back to Thailand with a lady called Nathalie and her kid. They are Pong's family. 500 000 baht are needed to cure him. Koi and Chai succeed to find enough money by lying to elders. Pong is finally cured but elders refuse to allow weddings between Chai Phi / Koi and Chai Nong / Choompu. So the youngsters simulate fleeing and hide in Wang Prai. As the grandchild is about to fall from a cliff, the grandfathers help each other and regain friendship. Weddings are authorised. The hotel bar caretaker Noi is a brave guy (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) but he is a bit gullible and too nice to customers. The hotel is used as rehearsal hall by choral or a Philippine artist such as miss Flora or Chinese opera (งิ้ว) or even a boxing match. The hotel is often used for arm wrestling competition. The caretaker Noi can often beat men much stronger than him. This strange hotel has only one room and it is already occupied by Mr Chana (Chana Sriubon). Issue arises when a young lady called Riem (Sarinthip Siriwan) asks for a room also. Chana renames the hotel Paradise as hotel Hell (โรงแรมนรก) as it is too noisy. Chana and Riem keep arguing for the room and even fight for pillows (ใจดำ). Chana is getting mad as he cannot sleep properly. Rumors about bandit Seua Din reach the hotel. Taking a bath in a nearby river, Riem needs to borrow Chana's gun to protect herself in case Seua Din is around. As Chana refuses, she bets with him and wins a shooting game. Three ruffians including a fierce guy called Krai are looking for Chana as he is an accountant. They wish to rob his money before he pays company salaries. Noi's uncle is shot. Riem is back when they start to beat Noi and Chana to know when the money arrives. The ruffians are quite polite (เสือสุภาพบุรุษ) but determined to get the money. Noi tells that Riem is Chana's wife. To make Chana speaks, the ruffians threaten his wife’s integrity. Chana finally accepts to tell that money will arrive at 4am. Love emerges between Riem and Chana. One of the ruffians helps Noi as he was looking for honest job and not a thief job. Krai shoots his two friends at nighttime as he believes they betrayed him by protecting Chana. Seua Din enters in the hotel and wishes to get the money also with no sharing. So a Russian roulette game is organised between Krai and Seua Din. Seua Din is very polite (เสือสุภาพบุรุษ) also but not Krai who breaks the game rules and shoots him. Chana and Noi capture Krai. The agent sending the money was Riem, daughter of the company owner. Chana and Riem cannot marry as Chana believes he is a small accountant only. Riem succeeds to convince him. There is a great performance of Prachuap Ruekyamdee who is playing a major role here instead of being a second role in a movie with leading actor Mitr Chaibancha. The movie scenario is very witty. Country Hotel (โรงแรมนรก) is a 1957 black and white movie lasting 2h19mn. It was filmed in 35mm format (using real actors voice) at the opposite of mainstream Thai movies using 16mm format (using dubbers). The movie received 3 awards in 1959 (best director, best image, best sound). The bar can still be found at Thai Film Archives museum. Western classical music is used. There is a great soundtrack used to create special ambience when fighting is happening. It is an indoor movie shooting.

Movie director is วิเชียร ฉวีวงษ์. The story was written by Sor Asanajinda. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence in 16mm format can still be seen. It lasts three minutes. The colorful and sharp remaining sequence shows a romance sequence between Thaksin and สวลี ผกาพันธ์ happening probably during the Ayutthaya period. ไฉน สัตยพันธ and a few armed men surround them. Thaksin fights back, then as he is outnumbered, he escapes by diving into the river. A summary of the movie is still available. Tuan (ทวน) (Taksin Jampol) and สี (Lor Tok) are servants of village leader Ouam (อ่วม) (วิชิต ไวงาน). He is leader of the village Bang Sue (บางซื่อ). Their job is to sell rice in various areas around the village. One day while returning to the village, they are attacked by robbers. Tuan kills a robber and reports it to the บ้านทุ่งเสือข้าม subdistrict headman. The subdistrict headman is negligent to manage this case as he is the one behind the robbery. The subdistrict headman อั้น and village leader Ouam work together to get rid of Tuan as Ouam wishes อั้น (เมืองเริง ปัทมินทร์) to be become his son-in-law but Jampa (จำปา) (สวลี ผกาพันธุ์), his daughter, loves Tuan. Seua Kaem (เสือเข้ม) (Tat Ekathat) travels from ทุ่งเสือข้าม and carries his wife’s treasure to deposit it to Ouam, his old friend. His wife is Jom (โฉม) (มาลิน เลขะวัฒนพิจารณ์) and is having an affair with with Plat Sak. Village leader Uam and Plat Sak plan to capture Seua Kaem and steal his belongings. Luckily Tuan is around and can help Seua Kaem. Tuan hurries back to meet Jampa but village leader Ouam and อั้น bring Plat Sak (ปลัดศักดิ์) (ไฉน สัตยพันธ์) to catch Tuan for murder (as he killed a robber before). Tuan flees (this is the short movie sequence left to be seen) and return to help สี but is not successful. He finally brings Jampa with him causing อั้น to be very upset. Ruffians release สี in order to follow him and to find Tuan. Tuan is then arrested but succeeds to escape again and prevents เพิ่ม (สมถวิล มุกดาประกร) trying to rape Jampa. Tuan kills เพิ่ม by sword. Village leader Ouam captures again Tuan. But Jampa asks Ouam not to kill Tuan as she agrees to go back to the village. Tuan is angry by Jampa‘s decision. Seua Kaem is killed by Plat Sak. In village Bang Sue, the village leader prepares the wedding between his daughter Jampa and อั้น. Ouam is surprised when seeing the ring that Champa is wearing. He is even more surprised when learning that this ring was offered to Champa by Tuan. This ring was offered by Ouam to his previous wife so he understands that Tuan is his son!
