Bua is the daughter of Pho Kamnan, who has always rejected this wedding. Pho Kamnan finally finds back Pliaw and Bua. Unfortunately Bua, sick of pneumonia, dies and Pliaw is accused by Pho Kamnan of having neglected his wife. Pliaw and his son flee. They find a shelter in Phujai Ming's house (Somsak Chaisongkram). Pho Kamnan knows that Ming hides Pliaw but two friends of Pliaw chase the ruffians away. Sri Prai is the daughter of Phujai. She likes Pliaw. Pho Kamnan hires fighters to storm Ming's house. Despite resistance, Ming and Pliaw's friends are outnumbered and defeated. Pliaw decides to fight back (จะลุย) as he has no choice (พีไม่มีทางเลือก). Pliaw and his friends storm Pho Kamnan's house but he succeeds to escape. As often in Isan movie, some additional funny words or jokes are added in the soundtrack background. Crossed romance and jealousy happen with Pliaw’s best friend, who loves secretly Sri Prai. Pho Kamnan decides to get rid of Pliaw (ปิดบัญชี) and kidnaps Sri Prai to be used as a bait. The movie ends up with fightings involving Pliaw, his friends and Ming’s family versus Pho Kamnan and his ruffians. Ruffians are all killed. Pliaw can now enjoy a new freedom. This is a small movie (หนังฟอร์มเล็กๆ) from Isan area with Sorapong Chatree still being a main actor. Sorapong was the main actor of many Thai movies during 3 decades! This movie is certainly one of the last movies where Sorapong still has the main role.

Molam singer Boonmee (เฉลิมพล มาลาคำ) is heartbroken. His friends including Mum Jokmok try to help him. Boonmee loves Pat, daughter of the village leader but the father doesn't want a poor son in law. Surasak (Somsak Chaisongkram) is running out of money so he tries to befriend with the rich village leader in order to marry his daughter Pat. Seeing Pat close to Boonmee, he tries to break the relationship. He sends ruffians to hit and to threaten Boonmee and his friends. It is a lesson (รู้จักที่ไหนต่ำที่ไหนสูง). A fake letter received by Boonmee is leading to misunderstanding with Pat. Pat is upset as Surasak is even older than her own father! Boonmee's mother, following his son's plea, requests the village leader daughter's hand. He refuses (ดูถูกคนจน) and asks for dowry of 500 000 THB. Meanwhile Pat refuses to marry Surasak. To force her lightly, her father invents a 500 000 THB gambling debt towards Surasak. Pat has to accept to save her father's honor. Meanwhile Surasak's girlfriend, being pregnant, arrives to the wedding. The wedding is cancelled and Pat runs to find Boonmee. He promises to love Pat in front of river ลำน้ำพอง.

Thai movie กะหัง was released in year 1991. It lasts 76 minutes. The picture quality is average. It was sold by two VCD companies under the name หม่ำต้มยำผี2. The highlight of this low budget comedy horror movie with limited Fx is to have two famous spirits from Thai folklore to meet (ผีปอบ and ผีกะหาง). Lom (Mum Jokmok) and Joomjim Khemlek are talking about a young lady called Fon. Doctor Klam (หมอกล่ำ) (Somsak Chaisongkram) is an herbal doctor (สมุนไพร). His daughter Oon, is pregnant since 2 months with Phi Mek but she didn't tell her father. A bit of light erotism suggestion is featured as such movie needs to accommodate many tastes in rural audience. Nobody talks to Sai Jai (Trirak Rakkarndee) or her mother in the village except Phi Mek. Sai Jai doesn't know that her mother is an ogress (ผีปอบ). Phi Mek decides to flee with Oon as they know Oon's father doesn't like Mek so he will not approve the wedding. Fon is Mek's younger sister. Mek asks his friends to take care of his father and his sister while he is away. Friends argue to be the one to take care of the beautiful Fon. Klam is very upset and threatens to kill both Mek and Oon. At nighttime in the forest, a demon (ผีกระหัง) attack them. Oon is killed. Sai Jai's mother, who was following Klam, eats her intestine. Phi Mek is back to the village. Nobody knows who the demon is. It is in fact doctor Klam! Sai Jai's mother forbids her daughter to see Mek and to marry only once she is dead. At nighttime, the mother becomes an ogress (ผีปอบ), female ghost eating intestines, and chases for preys. She is then attacked and killed by the demon. Before dying, the spirit is transferred from the mother to Sai Jai. Sai Jai then becomes an ogress. Klam is identified by villagers as the demon. A spirit doctor (หมอผี) is called. Finally as both ghosts are chasing villagers, the spirit doctor succeed to neutralize them. Klam becomes ashes and Sai Jai is safe after the spirit is removed from her body.

Thai movie โหดเนื้อหิน was released in year 1990 and lasts 1h29mn. Two groups of ruffians meet in order to exchange drugs and money. Suddenly a young lady called Duangdeuan (Duangdeuan Jithaisong) shots all of them with a M16 rifle. Sophit, restaurant waitress, hears that a group of four guys will deliver heroin soon so she informs subdistrict headman Cheut (Kanchit Kwanpracha). Duangdeuan helps a young girl being kidnapped by ruffians so Duangdeuan seems to be kindhearted. Police, including Duang (Chat Mongkolchai) as policeman, and subdistrict headman Cheut prepare a plan to catch the drug dealers. Thanks to information given by Sophit, ruffians are killed and drug is seized. Mafia leader (พ่อเลี้ยง) Boonseum (Rith Luecha), father of Rith Luecha, is very upset with subdistrict headman Cheut (มึงกับกุเห็นกันดีแน่ๆ). Duangdeuan (นายหญิง) promises to take care of subdistrict headman Cheut herself (หน้าที่ของลูก) and kills him in a sudden attack. The younger brother of Cheut, Chat (Sorapong Chatree), comes back and plans to revenge his elder brother. Ruffians try to get rid of him but they fail. Boonseum wishes to use hitman Khao Yai (Somsak Chaisongkram). Khao Yai and his men attack Chat and he is left for dead. Hopefully village leader Duang helps him and his daughter Phakamat cures his injuries. They prepare a plan (สักวันต้องรับกรรมแน่). Sophit helps to hide Chat but then gets killed by Khao Yai for being a traitress. Chat kills Khao Yai and his men by himself. Fed up that others always fail, Duangdeuan decides to take care of Chat by herself. Going to Duang's house, she only finds Phakamat, who is then hurt and kidnapped. Chat has to help her while Duang is getting help from the police. Chat is an undercover policeman. The policemen and Chat storm the ruffians’ house while they are selling weapons to the country traitors. Heavy shootings happen as Duangdeuan has got a machine gun. Almost everybody die. Both Chat and Duangdeuan blow up each other with grenades.

Thai movie นางพญางูผี 2 was released in year 1990. It is the same story as movie งูผี (1966) featuring Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat. Snake hunters are afraid of a big holy snake (งูเจ้าแม่). Chat is the hunters' leader. His wife Lamai is pregnant. Both of them die following the spirit's wrath. Only the baby survives and is adopted by a villager, who named her Boonme. They have already a daughter called Kamfa. Years have passed and the two daughters are now adults. Boonme is lazy. Kamfa has always gratitude over her parents. Many deaths happen in the village located in North of Thailand. Somsak Chaisongkram is the subdistrict headman (กำนัน). Chatree (Bin Banleurit) is sent to investigate the multiple strange deaths but prefers to be seen as a tourist. He meets Kamfa (Trirak Rakkarndee) in a Buddhist temple during Songkran festival but also Boonme (สรารัตน์ หรุ่มเรืองวงศ์). Inta, a strong local villager, is jealous of Boonme's interest towards Chatree. Chatree asks the caretaker in cemetery to see the corpses but only snakes (งูผี) remain. They consult a local spirit medium (ปู่เจ้า) who gives them a charm to identify in which body the evil spirit (นางงูผี) is hiding. Boonme orders Inta to kill Chatree but he fails. The subdistrict headman's daughter is bitten by a snake and is now resting in the spirit medium's house. The evil spirit orders Kamfa to bring back the little girl to her. As she screams, Kamfa is wrongly identified as the evil spirit (นางงูร้าย) by villagers. Meanwhile Boonme kills her own father (ลูกอพรี). Villagers led by the subdistrict headman wish to burn Kamfa. Chatree tries to help but gets condemned also. Hopefully a wandering monk (พระธุดงค์) (Kowit Wattanakul) stops the fire. The monk gives a holy necklace (ประคำ) to Kamfa to neutralise Boonme but Kamfa gets a promise that Boonme will stop killing people so she doesn't use the necklace. The evil spirit needs human blood to keep her eternal youth (นางปีศาจ). Boonme uses her magical power to convince Chatree to follow her up to her cave. Finally Kamfa uses the holy necklace to wake up Chatree. Through a daring finale, Boonme tries to kill Kamfa but Chatree then uses the necklace towards Boonme. Kamfa and Chatree succeed to escape from the cave before it collapses.

Sing (Somsak Chaisongkram), village leader, is living with his daughter Chaba (Darin Kornsakoon). Visitors from Bangkok are coming. Villager Mek loves Chaba but this love is not reciprocal. Mek doesn't like the Bangkokian guys to be around Chaba. Sing has a weird behavior… Sing recalls a relationship (ชู้) with another woman. He killed the husband during a fight as he was being uncovered. At nighttime Sing becomes a werecat following incantations and blood pouring on corpse oil (น้ำมันพรายเสือสมิง). He visits Yom again and kills her after having made love to her. He eats her flesh. Yom's husband has become crazy. Back home, Sing vomits so his daughter is concerned about his health. She asks one of the Bangkokian doctor to check him. Sing meets uncle Yong and asks him for help but Yong refuses as Sing is responsible of what is happening (ฅามกรรม). Sing wishes to avoid his daughter Chaba becoming a werecat like him. Sing finally dies and the spirit enters Chaba's body. As Chaba starts to vomit, Mek believes she is pregnant due to Bangkokian doctor. Villagers believe deaths are due to wandering tigers. Mek kills a villager and accuses the two Bangkokian visitors of being responsible for the deaths. Uncle Yong tries to convince people that the murders are linked to werecats (เสือสมิง). At nighttime Chaba, as werecat, kills Mek. Uncle Yong and the Bangkokian doctors help each other to chase the fearful spirit out of Chaba's body.

Spirit doctor Sanae identifies that Teera was possessed (ถูกของ). He gives to Nit a potion to break the spell. Pim meets her former husband Sot, who went working to Singapore. He brings her to see Mae Mo, who gives her a statuette to place into Teera’s home in order to have him going back to Pim (ทำเสน่ห์). Sot behaves like a pimp (แมงดา) as he is no money and his wife has now a new rich boyfriend. Having lost her husband, Nit goes to see again spirit doctor Sanae, who gives her a powerful statuette (กุมารพราย). He has to provide oil corpse (น้ำมันพราย) to Nit also. Pim needs also oil corpse from Mae Mo. Her domestic helper Pliu comes to get the philter from Sanae, who seduces her. Pim has to meet again Teera to use the philter on him. The two women argue again (นางกากี, อีตัว). Pim gets Teera back as she waits until nighttime to use the philter on him. Nit decides to use black magic from Spirit doctor Sanae. So it becomes a deadly war between Mae Mo and spirit doctor Sanae. The movie ends up tragically as Mae Mo and Sanae send spirits to kill each other. Teera lost his arms as the evils spirits dismember him. Pliu and Sot are also killed. Pim and Nit remain possessed as evil spirits.

Her students help her but it is not enough. Luckily Suripon, นักรบ, helps her. Other ruffians try to buy land title but the mother refuses. They kidnap the daughter. Luckily Kowit is around and helps the young lady. Phi Lom and his wife Naree can enjoy family time. Break is short as a new mission occurs. Vietnamese soldiers led by Chat Mongkolchai and Somsak Chaisongkram attack a village and kill all inhabitants. Vietnamese soldiers attack another village but Mayom (Thida Thidarat) and Pao Porapakfight back. Suripon and his men are sent in the same area. They discover that the village is empty. They face Vietnamese soldiers but push them back. Mayom and Pao follow the Thai rangers and are unsure if they are good or bad guys. For the nation and to protect Thai citizen, Thai soldiers are ready to sacrifice their lives and so their family happiness. Thai soldiers fall in ambush set up by Vietnamese soldiers. Many Thai soldiers die despite additional support of Mayom and Pao. Remaining Thai soldiers are looking for revenge (ล้างแค้น). Multiple grenade explosions occur. Suripon is getting a heavy machine gun to get rid of multiple opponents. Getting seriously injured, he uses a motorbike as a battering ram to defeat Somsak and have the whole camp to be destroyed. Only Mayom survives.

Drunkards are a continuous problem. Lin needs to send money for her mother (Marasri Bangchang) and younger sister Linda (ณหทัย พิจิจตรา - Nahatai Pijittra) to study but the drunkard stepfather Det (Somsak Chaisongkram) steals the money. He spies the young lady bathing and tries to abuse her. Linda hits him with a bottle and flees to Pattaya to stay with her sister Lin. She starts working as cashier in the bar. One night, while going home, she is aggressed by two thugs. Hopefully a young man called Prakorn (มนตรี แสงมณี) helps her. Linda meets an older man called Sia Somkat (Choomporn Theppitak). While Lin sends her mother back to Bangkok, Wat declares his love to Linda. Linda is fed up by the hypocrisy of all men she meets. She meets Prakorn again and he teaches her drawing. Meanwhile Wat still wants Linda to become his wife. His sbires try to drug her but finally Lin is the one to be drugged. A second tentative happens. This time Wat abuses of Linda when she is sleeping. Crisis happens between the two sisters when Wat announces to Lin that Linda is his wife now. Linda leaves and takes refuge in Prakorn's home. She avoids seeing Wat. After 2 months, Prakorn realises that Linda is pregnant. To avoid abortion and sin (บาป), Prakorn accepts to recognise the child. Wat finds where Linda is hiding. Fighting erupts and Wat stabs Prakorn. Prakorn ends up at hospital but Linda has no money to pay the bill. She has to resort to call Sia Somkat and sells her body (ขายตัว) to get money. Prakorn is shocked but understands that Linda had no choice. Wat still chases after Linda as he wants the baby. While Linda is out, he shoots Prakorn. The Thai police, passing by, shoots Wat and his ruffians. Disappointed by life, Linda drowns herself in the sea. The movie ends up with a warning saying that suicide is bad and not a solution to problems.

Phayu (Sorapong Chatree) and his men (ทหารรับจ้าง) are facing Vietnamese soldiers. They defeat them but have only three men left. Vietnamese army is led by Somsak Chaisongkram. Phayu is back to his village and helps a captain aggressed by ruffians. Those ruffians (กลุ่มนักเลง) attack his father's house claiming for a 20 years debt. Phayu is chased, gets injured and falls in the river. He is rescued by a villager and his daughter Surita (Duangdeuan Jithaisong). Villager Praka seems Phaya as a threat towards his love to Surita and is worried about enemy (ศัตรู) looking for Phayu. Somsak asks help from Rith Luecha and Chat Mongkolchai to find Phayu. Meanwhile three men wearing soldier’s clothes do a rampage in a village. One has same face as Phayu! Surita is worried if Phayu goes back to his village. Praka doesn't support Surita's interest in Phayu and tries to kill him by jealousy. Phayu’s parents and younger sister have all been killed by bandits (โจร). Revenge is mandatory for Phayu. The other man with similar face as Phayu is called Phayak and is in fact his elder brother. Praka brings the bandits to Surita's home. He dies while protecting Surita, who gets shot also. Phayak also dies. Phayu’s storms the ruffians’ camp. He places some hidden grenades on the way to his village as he knows ruffians will chase him. It ends in a bloody and deadly fighting.

Thai movie ฟ้าทลายโจร was released in year 1989 and lasts 1h32mn. It is available under VCD format released by Lepso company. It was renamed as ถล่มพระกาฬ by Lepso. As often with war movies from 1985 to 1995, it is very violent with a lot of blood to make it more realistic. Hanfan (Sorapong Chatree) and his men ambush a group of soldiers. By capturing a soldier, they can identify where the enemy camp is. Heavy fighting happens and many soldiers are killed on both side. Hanfan is the only survivor but he is also injured. He is rescued by villagers. Meanwhile ruffians led by Chat Mongkolchai storm the village. The men (โจรป้า) rape the girls and kill all inhabitants. Only two young ladies (including Duangdeuan Jithaisong) are left and are hiding in a cave inside the mountain with Hanfan. They help Hanfan but he wishes to go to the ruffians' camp in order to release some of his men (ทหารชุดดำ) held captive there. Somsak Chaisongkram is head of the camp and Pao Porapak is one of his soldiers. The doctor of the camp disagrees with Somsak's harsh methods. Hanfan kidnaps the doctor (ขายชาติ) to know where his men are held captive. Somsak, aware that Hanfan is still alive, sends his men to chase him. The soldiers find where the two young ladies are hiding and capture them. Meanwhile additional soldiers enter in the jungle but they fall in a trap. Only two survive and are captured. Somsak and his men torture the two ladies. Hanfan storms the place, releases them and kills Somsak. Hanfan releases the doctor but she is captured by Chat's team. Other ruffians led by Rith Luecha join them. The doctor is aggressed by two ruffians including Pao Porapak but Hanfan helps again on time. Rith tortures Hanfan’s soldiers. Disgusted, the doctor steals some documents for Hanfan. She is followed by Chat and other ruffians as they wish to track Hanfan. Fightings happen between Hanfan and the ruffians. They shot the doctor but Hanfan kills them all including Chat. Hanfan and two ladies storm the ruffians’ place to get rid of them. Severe fightings happen and the two ladies are killed. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Hanfan succeeds to get a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. All ruffians including Rith are killed.

Four men bloodily rob a bank and kill all guards and employees. They have long hairs. They are part of a mafia gang. Ayu (Sorapong Chatree), a former ranger, is arrested when buying medicine for his sick mother as he has also long hairs. He is accused without proofs and beaten by the Police to get his confession. He flees from the prison with another inmate Pao (Pao Porapak). They are chased by the police in the jungle. Two mafia groups also affront each other in the jungle. One group is lead by a young lady. She is injured but rescued by Ayu. Unfortunately Ayu arrives home too late. His mother is already dead. His teammate Pao is in fact a covered policeman who wants to trick the robbers. The mafia group kills Ayu's family members and catches him. The young lady is the daughter of the mafia group's boss that got killed recently. She spared Ayu's life. Ayu is rescued by the policeman Pao but he decides to take revenge over the mafia group. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Ayu carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. A butchery happens with heavy spurts of blood. All policemen are killed. Everybody dies including the mafia leaders and Ayu. Sorapong Chatree played in many serie B action movies in year 1989. In 1980s, action movies were still very popular and actors often carried machine guns in those films.

Thai movie ฟ้าสั่งข้ามาเกิด was released in year 1988. The movie was never released in Thailand but a remaining sequence in Hmong language is lasting 1h07mn. So it is difficult to understand the detailed story. The image has a poor VCD copy quality. Sorapong Chatree is carrying wood on his back in the mountains. Sorapong is a former soldier. Five men dressed as rangers / militants arrive in the mountain village and are talking to the village headman as they are looking for Sorapong. As they cannot get proper information about Sorapong, they harass his wife (ศิรินันท์ โรจนธรรม) and his son. Sorapong arrives and beats the 5 men away. Their leader is Chat Mongkolchai. Among Chat’s team, there are also Rith Luecha and Pipop Pupinyo. This time, Reut brings more men in the village and they hurt the village header to make him talk. Sorapong kills a few men to help the villager header. Sorapong and his family are then chased by ruffians in the mountains. They arrive in another village but are captured by some villagers led by Somsak Chaisongkram. Sorapong has to accept a one to one fighting with spade as shown on the movie poster. He defeats two opponents. Later on, Sorapong storms the ruffians place to get back a statuette requested by Somsak Chaisongkram. Ruffians storm the village but Somsak Chaisongkram helps Sorapong's wife to flee. Per the deal, they let Sorapong and his family go. Sorapong defeats four men wearing black clothes. His wife is injured. Somsak Chaisongkram tries to stop Rith and his men but gets killed. Fleeing again, Sorapong and his family are arrested by other villagers. Luckily the leader is an old friend of Sorapong. Rith and his men storm the village again. Sorapong has to flee one more time. The remaining sequence ends up here. This movie reminds The Mountain Lion (เสือภูเขา) movie released in 1979.

Thai movie ชาติอำมหิต was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h33mn. It was released under VHS and VCD formats. Sorapong Chatree plays a role similar to a Thai Rambo. A lot of shooting and bloody fightings occur in this war movie. Trafficker Pao Porapak tries to break a weapon deal with Somchai but it fails and he gets killed. Thai soldier Pleung (Sorapong Chatree) is back to his home but Chat Mongkolchai and his men are waiting for him. They ask for a military code. Young Lady Dawee (Duangdeuan Jithaisong) and her brother Somchai are back to their village and face forest bandits (โจรป่า) attacking the village. Her father is Kanchit Kwanpracha. Dawee wishes that the villagers move to a new place but her father refuses. Chat and his men torture Pleung to get the code as he refuses to disclose it. At nighttime, a villager helps Pleung to flee. Chat's men chase Pleung but it is not easy as he is used to fight in the jungle. He kills many of them one by one. While fleeing, Pleung faces the forest bandits again and they chase him. Dawee is around at that time and a misunderstanding occurs as Pleung believes she is part of the forest bandits. They understand they have a common enemy (ศัตรูเดี๋ยวกัน). Chat and Rith Luecha, Somsak Chaisongkram meet in their main camp. Upset that Pleung succeed to flee thanks to Dawee, the forest bandits storm her village and kidnap her father. Aware, Pleung and Dawee prepare a plan. They put some explosive around the ruffians' camp and succeed to release the father and Somchai. Very heavy fightings and explosions occur. Pleung, as expected, is using a heavy machine gun. Most of protagonists die except Pleung and Davee.

Lak is a modern Thai lady. She is fianced since two years but her fiance (คู่หมั้น) is always busy with his work and has no time for her. There is still no confirmed date for the wedding and she is upset by this. In Pukhet, to escape to boredom, Lak (Sinjai Hongthai) meets young bachelor Samon (Likit Eakmongkol). Samon is hot temper and asks for wedding with Lak after a few days of friendship only but she refuses as she has already a fiance. She starts to be fed up with Samon as she doesn't love him. Samon is a butterfly man. Samon invites himself (รังควาน) to Lak's appartement in Phuket. She refuses to tell anything to her fiance as there is nothing to say! Lak accepts to kiss Samon but nothing more. Then Samon forces her and she gives way to Samon. Despite her friend advice, Lak refuses to go to police to file a claim (แจ้งความ) as she is afraid and feels shameful. Lak is back to Bangkok. Samon continues to chase her in Bangkok. Samon contacts Lak's fiance and tell him he and Lak love each other and that he and Lak are lovers. A discussion happens between Lak and her fiance. She cannot stand his kindness and gives back her fiancee ring. He leaves to Indonesia. As Samon is still chasing her, she goes to police to complain. Samon is arrested. Samon's lawyer asks for compromise outside the court to protect her name but she refuses. She claims she was not consenting (ไม่เต็มใจ). Samon's lawyer tries to convince the tribunal that it was not a rape but a common acceptance. Lak changes home and quits Bangkok. She doesn't care anymore about the trial. She is now pregnant. Shall she keep the future baby or not? She doesn't want to destroy the baby future as it is still a life so she decides to keep it. She doesn't want to be forced again by Salmon's acts so she keeps behaving same as before, i.e. doing intensive gym. The foetus dies. She is now freed. She loses the trial as Samon is only condemned to a 600 baht fine. She meets him in an hotel again. He challenges her again. At night time, he succeeds to enter in her house but gets severely beaten and dies when falling from the stairs. She is sent to prison but released promptly. Her former fiance is waiting for her. This Manop Udomdej's movie is related to women position in Thai society (difficulty to prove a rape, abortion difficulty for single woman). This movie received four gold statuette awards (รางวัลตุ๊กตาทอง) in 1987.

This movie is a remake of the movie "Dr Karn" shot in 1973 but with new actors. The previous version was directed by ChatriChalerm Yukol. Doctor Karn (หมอ) is a new doctor with strong principles. He wishes to treat all people. There is no priority for rich people as he is a public doctor (หมอรัฐบาล). Doctor Kan gets scolded by his management for this. Modern doctors have no wish to go to Isan poor region in northeast of Thailand. During his childhood his mother died while his father was bringing her to the nearest doctor by an ox cart. In rural areas, there are a few doctors so people have to travel far. He meets Areuthai (หฤทัย), his future wife, in Bangkok. Doctor Karn’s dream is to be a rural doctor (หมอบ้านนอก) to help and support poor people in Isan area. Karn and Areuthai know each other for 3 months only and decide to marry. Areuthai’s former boyfriend, Thomon, is disappointed and promises to wait until Karn stops loving her. They go to Isan region in a remote village using train and local bus through bumpy roads and dry fields. The local district officer (นายอำเภอ) welcomes them. He is quite rigid on standards. But his subordinates are playing cards with other colleagues and villagers! Areuthai discovers life on rural side with no fridge and no oven. Life is difficult (ลำบาก) for Areuthai as she comes from a rich family in Bangkok. There is no electricity after 9pm. First crisis with the district officer happens as he sent the nurses to work away but they still get paid with their governmental salary shared 50% / 50% with them and the district officer. The doctor Karn discovers that local villagers have to pay again for medicine despite it is already paid by government (ยาให้ใช้ไม่ใช่ให้ขาย). He starts to very popular so causing displeasure to the district officer. Doctor Karn is just and fair (ยุติธรรม). His wife helps as a nurse. This movie is a critic of corrupted officers (ราชการ) who prevent the country to develop properly. Doctor Karn doesn't do this job for money but to help poor villagers. Doctor Karn is working for the villagers’ health benefit but the district officer is working for his own benefit. He refuses to authorize doctor Karn to open a nighttime station (สถานีอนามัย) in case of emergency. Villagers shall go to the doctor's home! Areuthai wishes to be back to Bangkok as she misses her expensive beauty creams and her mum. Doctor Karn has issue with illegal medicine seller protected by the district officer (หมอจะเดือดร้อน). The district officer's wife tries to brain wash Areuthai about having her own house and being able to have good a school abroad for children. How can Areuthai get this with the small salary of a rural doctor? Areuthai argues that doctor Karn doesn't love her as he doesn't wish to improve their living. Doctor Karn is divided between pleasing his wife and helping poor villagers to get access to healthcare. Areuthai goes back to Bangkok to make a break. Doctor Karn stays as he cannot leave his patients. Areuthai's friend asks her to convince doctor Karn to open a clinic in Bangkok. Money is easy here. The former boyfriend, Thomon (โตมร), still wants to meet Areuthai. Areuthai accepts to meet him but for friendship only as she is married. They have a car accident as Thomon is upset that Areuthai still wishes to back to countryside. Doctor is diligent to do his duty (หมอทำหน้าที่). The district officer is having an illegal casino and protects it through his clique (ลูกน้อง). A fight erupts and one is seriously injured. Doctor Karn can do nothing as he lost too much blood already. Only way is to send him to hospital. Doctor Karn is now aware of the casino. He starts to know too much things. Doctor Karn befriends with a local policeman who indulged in alcohol as he can do nothing to stop the district officer. One evening the doctor’s house is shot a few times as a threatening warning. Aware of the accident through a telegram, doctor Karn goes back to Bangkok and finds that Areuthai has lost memory due to accident. Thomon (ลูกเศรษฐี) doesn't want Areuthai to be back with doctor Karn so he organizes his mutation abroad. The doctor headmaster doesn’t understand obstinate doctor Karn regarding rural people (คนบ้านนอกโง่หลอกง่าย). He is forced to accept the post or be dismissed. The district officer is under corruption investigation (ถูกย้าย) and he believes doctor Karn denounced him to Bangkok authorities. Finally doctor Karn and Areuthai will go abroad. Doctor Karn needs to go back to countryside a last time to get back his belongings. His policeman friend wants him to help regarding unwanted pregnancy abortion but he cannot do as it is against law. If policemen don't respect law who will respect the law? He unfortunately doesn't come back as he is shot dead as a revenge of the district officer. Doctor Karn was a good man (เขาเป็นคนดี). This story was also adapted 2 times for television in 1980 and 2010.

Thai movie คำมั่นสัญญา was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h59mn. It is the first movie for Santisuk Promsiri. Lin (Santisuk Promsiri) and Da (Jintara Sookkapat) are close friends since childhood. Somsak Chaisongkram, Lin's father, was Da's father subordinate in Thai army. He saved his life during Vietnam war. So special bound exists between them. As Somsak is a poor widower with one boy, the chief installed him as gardener in his house. Da's father is also part of Thai nobility. Somsak reminds his son his position and their duty (บุญคุณ) towards Da's family as he is concerned this childhood friendship could become love. Lin is fully aware. Once being a soldier, Lin asks to be sent on countryside in province. Da is upset as she feels it is treacherous act. Somsak becomes a monk. Somsak and Lin feel that Lin cannot marry Da as their family is inferior status and they do respect Da's family status (ฐานะ), which always supported them. Lin was considered and treated as a son by them. Lin promised to never forget Da (คำมั่นสัญญา). Ruj Ronnapop and his wife Pranee are close friends to Da’s parents. Their son Boorana asks Da for wedding. Da doesn't love him. She feels bad as she expects Lin to ask for her hand, but it never happens. Lin intends that family status is more important that real love. Da finally married with Boorana. Lin comes to their wedding and leaves for France for 6 months. Da is not having happiness. Boorana often drinks alcohol, join parties with soldier friends and has a mistress. Boorana complains to Da that her father doesn't help him to climb hierarchy ladder but her father checks capability first so Boorana is jealous of Lin. Somsak starts to be sick. Lin is back from France with gifts. Da is unhappy as her husband has a mistress. Her parents die in helicopter crash. The doctor identifies she has a cancer. Her life is wrecked. She finally divorces. Pranee wants her son Boorana to get half of her money but Ruj as an honest soldier refuses and mentions his son came with nothing, so he shall leave with nothing! Lin promises to stay to take care of Da. As she cannot be cured, she dies peacefully with Lin taking of her until the end.

Some ruthless ruffians kill villagers and threaten them as their leader, called Chun, was arrested by the police following a denunciation. Winai, head of forest rangers, is captured by the mafia in order to exchange Chun. Chun's daughter, called Plae, is leading the capture. Nai, a soldier, is living with his wife in a neighbouring village. While he is away, his wife Waew is raped and killed by the ruffians. Nai complains to the police. The local police head proposes to him to share the 200 000 Baht reward to get back Winai. Meanwhile the ruffians succeed to free Chun during a prison transfer. Nai helps Chun and his daughter to escape the police chase. His target is to infiltrate Chun's ruffians team and find who kills his wife. Chun's teammates also wish to get the 200 000 Baht reward. Once Nai arrives in the village, one of the leader, called Chat, refuses to exchange Chun with Winai and kills Chun. Nai is captured and put prisoner in a cage. Chun's daughter, Plae, has arguments with Chat and flees the campement. She frees Nai. Chat wishes to exchange Winai versus the money reward. Chat needs money to build a bigger team of ruffians. Nai takes revenge over the ruffian who killed his wife and succeeds to free Winai, head of forest rangers. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Nai carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. All ruffians are killed. Police arrives late. Nai and Plae defeats Chat and the rogue policeman doesn't get any reward. It is a typical 1980s Thai action movie based on revenge plot, mistreated villagers and corrupted policeman.

Wee knows that Kata is a hitman but doesn't disclose the truth to her brother as Kata is doing good for the society by getting rid of bad men. Ruffians, having clarified that there is no internal war between them, decide to gather to get rid of Kata. Somsak Chaisongkram chases him in a mall and Kata is beaten. Police head Chatree is upset to see Wee having issues when being with Kata. She was shot and almost kidnapped. Wee is hiding something to him. Lin is upset to see Kata with Wee. Lin loves Kata, but she knows she has no way to become his official girlfriend (แฟน). She is playing double game. She is helping Wee, being captured by ruffians to attract Kata in a trap. She is identified as traitor by ruffians and later Lin is found dead. Ruffians take revenge on Yot’s aunt (Marasri Bangchang). Chatree has no proofs but reminds Kata that law shall be applied for all (หน้าที่ของกฎหมาย) but Kata refuses. Kata and Yot storm the hangar where ruffians are exchanging drugs. Fiercely fighting is occurring as Kata is having a submachine gun. Ruffians are defeated but Yot is killed. Krai is finally captured by Chatree.

Khun Num Yao (Aranya Namwong) is a middle age lady (ผู้ดี). She is practising illegal abortion on teens or rich ladies having affair and then unwanted baby. Her son Ran is hot tempered (ใจร้อน) and is butterfly man (หลายใจ). She also pays for Tap Tim studies, who is the daughter of her domestic helper. Tap Tim is not strong in studies but always willing to (เรียนไม่เก่งแต่ตั้งใจ). She wishes to be a nurse. Ran has a bad mindset but is intelligent and always studies well. He has become a doctor. In 1980s decade, abortions were not authorized in Thai hospitals. Patients needed to bring proofs in front of the police that the unwanted baby was due to a rape. Khun Num Yao knows it is illegal (ผิดกฎหมาย) but is is necessary (ความจำเป็น). She doesn't hope for gratitude (บุญคุณ). Adults have fun in modern society without responsabilities (ผู้ใหญ่สนุกอย่างเดียวไม่รับผิดชอบ). People have fire (ไฟ). She even helped her own son's girlfriends to abort. Pa Kong, Tap Tim's mother, is always helping Khun Num Yao during illegal abortions. Tap Tim succeeds to be a nurse. She is invited to Hua Hin by Ran, who is partying with friends. She is helping her mother to arrange food in the seaside resort. Ran has a dirty mindset (เรื่องลามก) in the heart despite high studies. She hates Ran. Tam Tim needs to compensate the good deeds received (ตอบแทนความบุญคุณ) and have to help Khun Num Yao for abortion as her mother is sick. She is unhappy and she has studied nurse job to save people and not to kill them (ทำบาปฆ่าคน). There is a deranging allegory between the mother killing life and the son creating life in the hotel room with girls. Pa Kong relates old story to her daughter. Ran's real mother asked to abort when she was already seven months pregnant. The child had survived and Khun Num Yao has adopted Ran as her own child. Tap Tim is confused (สับสน) but now better understands Ran's behavior (ไม่ได้รับอบอุ่นจาก Khun Num Yao). Ran hops between girls. Tap Tim's friend, Pol, is sick and has been dumped by Ran. Ran lies to himself and to the girls. Pol is pregnant. Thap Tim, fed up, tells him the truth (บัดซบ, ไม่ไช่มนุษย์, ปัญหาสังคม) to Ran regarding his real origin. Ran cannot stand the truth and breaks everything in his room. Ran disappears. Thap Tim decides to leave Khun Num Yao's home and brings her mother to go to countryside. She helps poor villagers and works in a dispensary (สถานีอนามัย) as nurse (นางพยาบาล). One day a little girl is really sick. There is a need for a doctor's help. They go to the next big village. Doctor Ran is there. He helps the girl but refuses to talk to Thap Tim. Ran is addicted to drugs in order to forget his past. Thap Tim helps for his redemption (เป็นคนดีได้). Finally the whole family is reunited. Ran is now having confidence into himself and asks his mother to stop doing this illegal job. She accepts. Ran will spend two years outside thailand to finish studies regarding proper abortion. Thap Tim promises to wait. The movie raises the hot topic regarding abortion legalisation in Thailand.

A young lady called Feun (Sinjai Hongthai) is working in a hairdresser shop and washes customers' hair. Khun Warut (Apichat Halamjiak), one customer, has interest in Feun. Phaen (Piathip Kumwong), Feun’s stepmother, tries to push her to go out with Warut. Feun’s father (Somsak Chaisongkram) indulges in alcohol and is seriously sick. Aniwat is Feun's close friend and wishes to marry her when he finishes his studies. Pressured by Phaen, Feun accepts a dinner invitation from Warut. Aware of this, Aniwat feels betrayed. Warut asks for Feun's hand. Phaen pushes her to accept. Troubled, she wishes to talk to Aniwat. But seeing him with another lady, she finally accepts Warut's offer. Warut starts to be more daring with Feun knowing they will marry soon. The wedding shall be a very small ceremony without Warut's parents. In fact, Warut is already married with three children. Phaen was aware. Warut and Feun don't understand each other. Feun likes to stay home but Warut likes to go to disco. Phaen is not interested in Feun's father but only in money that Warut gives to Feun. Warut doesn't come back home a few days already. So she has finally no choice than working same as Luang as she is worried about her father. It is a difficult job as some men are crazy or violent. She enters in a whirlpool of sex and easy money. One day, one of her guest is Aniwat! Aniwat still believes Feun is a good person despite doing this job (ต้องการเงิน). Aniwat still loves Feun. Feun accepts to start a real love relationship with Aniwat. Their love is spoilt by meeting some former customers while dining and by a liver disease due to alcohol high level of consumption. Aniwat's friend tries to break this relationship. Feun's friend finds that Aniwat is already fiance with a teacher. Knowing this, she indulges in alcohol again and ends up in hospital. Despite cutting part of her liver, she will not survive long. She leaves the hospital and stays near the sea. Knowing Aniwat's wedding, she ends up in hospital again. Her friend forces Aniwat to visit her to hospital so that he can understand her real love and the pain he caused her. Feun dies in front of him. Movie สายน้ำไม่ไกลกลับ highlights society hypocrisy as it is allowed or understood that a man can have multiple mistresses but the opposite is not accepted. It highlights a society where men harassment is still excessive.

Ruffians Viboon (Krai Kanchit), Somsak Chaisongkram and Pumi Patanayut wish to get rid of Oon to take over the family business. Oon claims she can get rid of them without Thep's help. Thep helps as Oon brings a mess in Viboon's club. Two of Oon's friends have opened a karate dojo for ladies. Ruffians try to get rid of Thep also but this time Oon is the one to help. At nighttime, Oon disguises herself as masked justiciary lady (อีนทรีสาว). Pumi, as hitman, tries to shoot Oon but Thep is the one injured. Oon takes good care of him at hospital. Ruffians fail to kill him at hospital. Chased by ruffians, Oon brings them to the dojo. Oon’s friends neutralize the ruffians. Thep thrashes Viboon and Somsak as revenge. Pumi hires a hitman 100 000 baht to get rid of Oon (อินทรีสาว) but he fails. Pumi also fails to kill Thep. Thep promises them a bloody war (สงครามเลือด) if they continue. Thep warns Viboon and Somsak. Four hitmen are hired this time by Pumi. They also fail. Ruffians get revenge over Thep's family and capture him. They use him as bait to attract Oon. Aware that Thep is held prisoner in a hangar, Oon and three of her friends, being the karate dojo owners, join her. They storm the hangar. Thai movie เสือภูพาน was released in year 1986. The movie "เสือภูพาน", released under VCD by Lepso ltd, lasts only 56 minutes so for sure the original movie was cut a lot so making the whole story a bit difficult to understand. The movie เสือภูพาน was already released by Happy Time ltd so this version might be longer. Another online version lasts 1h07mn. It was also released under as an international title as "Spy Inferno" (1h26mn). It is a mix of Thai footage and Hong Kong footage done by Filmark production. The movie is in Spanish language. The Thai footage lasts more than one hour. The picture quality of "Spy inferno" is much better than the Thai VCD release. Some scenes are present only in the Filmark version and some only in the Thai VCD version. The Thai actors are not even mentioned in the credits. Soldiers led by Phupan (Krung Srivilai) are attacked by traitors. As their leader is injured, they have to retreat. This group of traitors is led by a big chief (Boo Wibunnan). Seu is kidnapped by the ruffians but refuses to divulge information on Phupan. The doctor Bua helps Seu to flee. A chase is engaged to catch them back. Kamnan Lit kidnaps Yeun to force Yeun’s daughter (ไปรมา รัชตะ) to be his wife. Her friend Promod helps to release Kamnan Lit. There is a secret informer (หูตา), called Number 13, inside the ruffians’ team. The traitors move to another secret place but Bua leads the Thai army there. Melan is finally uncovered as the hidden informer inside the ruffians. The Thai army, helped by Seu, storm the ruffians’ headquarters but faces strong opposition. Seu appears in hill tribes clothes. All ruffians are killed. Bua dies in the fightings. Thai movie เสือภูพาน reminds of movies such as ชุมแพ 2 (1984) or เสือภูเขา (1979) where a hill tribe character has strong fighting skills.

Thep needs help from master Bun (Boo Wibunnan). Bun has the reputation to forget the incantation words. Thep shares the risks faced by Molina. Dracula's team attacks but they face Thep's team. Dracula flies directly to Molina's laboratory but Thep intervenes to stop him. Dracula has to retreat. Ruffians, led by Somsak, try to kidnap Doctor Molina in a floating market but Thep helps again. Ruffians are trying to kidnap Doctor Molina as her experiments could help to build weapons. She is glad that Thep is helping her without a second thought. Wishing to get rid of Thep, Dracula attracts him in an underground den to play cards and to drink. Thep (คนหน้าผี) is drunk. When he wakes up, he tries to kill Dracula sleeping in his coffin, but he is bitten by him and becomes a vampire. Being a vampire, Thep attracts Doctor Molina in a trap and she is kidnapped. Boo helps and Thep recovers. He helps Molina to escape from Dracula. Ruffians are chasing Thep and Doctor Molina. Ruffians kidnap doctor Molina and they hide in an unfinished building. Thep and police surround the building. Ruffians ask for a plane to quit Thailand with their hostage (ตัวประกัน). Thep helps Police. Thong Kam gives drugs to women to make them addicted and docile. Some women try to flee. The traffic is done by a few men including Thong Kam. Taiwan is aware that Thong Kam is responsible for Oradee’s pregnancy, so he tries to kill her but fails. A stranded man arrives on the island. He is friends with Thong Kam and has come to prepare an insurrection. Taiwan has arguments with Suda and ends up in a security jail. Taiwan's friend, Varadee, sleeps with Somsak to have her released. Ruffians take over the island and force the inmates to dig for gold. Dasapranee is injured and the doctor succeeds to flee. Varadee is rejected by Thong Kam as she is just an addict. The doctor releases Dasapranee and a few inmates. Shootings happen between Prasadee, Dasapranee and the ruffians led by Thong Kam. Inmates do rebel against their keepers. Many of them die including Taiwan and Varadee. Finally, Thong Kam is also shot. Prasadee and Anita leave the island while Dasapranee has to continue running the prison.

Utit (Apichat Halamjiak) is waiting for them and they take the body away by car. On the following day, Sompong Phonmitr finds a woman body floating in the river. It makes news headlines. The body is identified to be a nurse called Nuan Chawee (Sinjai Hongthai). This movie deals about the police enquiry to find who has killed the nurse. Utit (Apichat Halamjiak) is her husband, a doctor, and is claiming her dead body. Utit is interrogated by police. นาย Cheut and his wife, also a nurse, are suspected. Tuwit (Krailat Kriengkrai) is suspected as he used to love Nuan but as this love was not reciprocal, he married another lady. The movie has flashbacks between the investigation and Nuan’s story. Nuan and the doctor met each other in the hospital. Nuan fell in love with him and accepted to become his girlfriend. The doctor was going to be sent to Lampang. Nuan was waiting eagerly for the doctor to be back. Nuan presented her father (Somkuan Krajangsat) to doctor Utit as she hoped Utit would ask her hand for wedding. The love was not shared. Utit started to be fed up with Nuan (รำคาญ). Nuan was upset. Fed up by the doctor's lack of responsibility (ไม่ยอมรับผิดชอบ), she threatened to shoot him if he didn't marry. Under pressure, doctor Utit accepted. But the doctor’s mother (Sarinthip Siriwan) refused to accept Nuan. Nuan and her father complained to the hospital’s director. It caused Utit to be very upset and he hit Nuan. Nuan saw doctor Utit with another girl (Wiyada Umarin). Two brothers were involved in the murder. As Nuan learnt Utit had also married Umarin 6 days after her, she threatened the doctor to go to justice. Utit was fed up with Nuan as she could really mess up his future and position in the society. Wiyada saw her a competitor. So everything was in place to get rid of Nuan and to kill her with the help of the local undertaker (สัปเหร่อ) Somsak and the two brothers as intermediates. Wiyada and doctor Utit finally recognize their culpability. It is based on a real story, which happened in year 1959.

Phi Am refuses to respect Sri Wan Thong anymore and promises to kill the crocodile spirit. Master (หมอ) Fak is hired. Master Fak (Somsak Chaisongkram) is arriving in the village. Drunken Phi Am urinates on Sri Wan Thong's shrine. Master Thong asks Sri Wan Thong not to kill Phi Am. Many ladies (Sai, Nuan...) like Thong. It makes Sri Wan Thong to be jealous as she loves secretly Thong. Master Fak, hired by the subdistrict headman, tries to capture the crocodile. It is a failure and Phi Am is killed during the mess. Meanwhile Tuan is looking for Wana. Sri Wan Thong, alias Wana, pushes Tuan to fight with Thong until Thong sends a magic amulet over Sri Wan Thong so Tuan realizes that Wana is Sri Wan Thong! Sai is brought back home by master Fak. She claims to hurt her ankle to entice master Fak. Sai becomes Sri Wan Thong and kills master Fak. Sri Wan Thong wishes to get an agreement with Thong. She agrees to stop killings if master Thong stays with her for three months. The story continues in movie เจ้าแม่จระเข้ (1987).

Village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) Krai is a rich man. His wife Lamduan (ใจสัตว์) is having an affair with An, a local ruffian. Chot, Dokmai’s brother, is upset by this situation but cannot complain as An is his boss. There is a temple fair with musical folk drama (ลิเก) and a bell is offered to the temple. A nice Buddhist countryside ceremony is shown with the temple bell consecration. It ends tragically as the village leader is pushed into the bell in hot fusion and dies. An becomes the new village leader. A new visitor arrives in the village. His name is Chok and he has been hired by An to protect Pen and her sister Pol, daughters of former Village leader Krai. Lamduan is only their stepmother (แม่เลี้ยง). An will give their heritage back when they get married but he already started to spend a lot. An forgets Dokmai. Village leader ghost (ผีผู้ใหญ่) appears and visits his daughter Pen to tell her the truth and to beware of An. Chok is a hitman (มือปืน) so Pen doesn't trust him either. The ghost kills three ruffians involved in his murder. An still refuses to recognize Dokmai’s pregnancy. Dokmai dies in a fire set in her house by An's ruffians. Chot promises to revenge. Lamduan orders to burn both Pen and Pol but Chok helps them on time. Dokmai ghost appears to kill Lamduan as she has taken away An from her. The village leader ghost tries to kill both Lamduan and An as they planned to kill him. Luckily for them the abbot (หลวงพ่อ) amulet chases the ghost away. An recruits a master (อาจารย์) but he is useless. Dokmai ghost strangles Lamduan while she was having a bath so without any Buddhist amulet protection. An hires another master to fight the two ghosts (โจรเราไม่เลี้ยง). Dokmai ghost is neutralised. Chok is an uncovered policeman. He wishes to capture An but this latter escapes and is followed up by Krai ghost. Finally Chot and An kill each other (ทำความชั่วตายจากความชั่ว). Parts of the movie are missing.

A young girl is found abandoned. She is rescued and adopted by a policeman called Wichai. The policeman is a widower and has two daughters, called Sari and Yupin. Nit is Sari's boyfriend. Nit and his friend Jem are killed by local mafia but are still alive as they have magic skills (วิชา). Local mafia was hired by a witch (แม่หมอ), who is looking to get rid of Nit. She uses the body of the young girl to spy inside the house. She needs more force (พลัง) and is trying to get Nit's heart and body. An entertainment girl, called Waddee, is in love with the father Wichai and convinces him to play big money in an underground casino. Wichai, as a policeman, is using government money to play cards. He loses everything. The dictrict officer (นายอำเภอ) gives Wichai one month to get back the money. Nit and his friend decide to help the policeman and go to play in the underground casino. Thanks to magic skills, they can see inside the dice cup. They get back one million baht. Meanwhile the witch possesses (ถูกผีเข้า) the maid Tawin and then Jin, boyfriend of Yupin. Nit has protective amulets (ของดี) so can chase the witch from their bodies. It is a typical horror movie from the 1980s with a mix of horror, a joke and a slight salacious content. Jem provides a love filter (น้ำมันพราย) for a lady to get back her husband but the thrown bottle reaches a car so creating a crazy situation where the car is in love with the woman. The witch also possesses Yupin. During a final battle with Nit, the witch is defeated.

About to burn Yot, the doctor intervenes to stop villagers. To avoid burning an innocent, the sub-district officer Somsak agrees to wait one day to see if Yot becomes a werewolf. Meanwhile the village leader Tap, being a werewolf, becomes human after meeting his daughter Tap Tim. Village leader Tap kills three guards to release the teacher Yot. Yot takes refuge in a Chinese temple. Villagers arrest the doctor as they believe he released his friend Yot. Shaman Kong announces to sub-district office Somsak that the werewolf is the village leader Tap. Daughter Tap Tim warns her father Tap, the village leader, so that he can flee. The doctor and young lady Soi follow the village leader Tap to know Yot whereabouts. Unfortunately, the doctor and Soi are killed by the village leader Tap becoming a werewolf again. Shaman Kong, knowing that his wife has an affair with young lad Det, sends werewolf Cham to kill both Chom and Det. Finding where teacher Yot is hiding by following Tap Tim and Kathin, Choo tries to kill Yot but fails. Choo is also finally killed by the werewolf Tap. Nuan defies Kong and following an epic battle, Kong is defeated. Teacher Yot promises to help Kathin. Yot and two ladies are attacked by werewolf Tap. Tap Tim, in order to protect Yot, has to stab the werewolf Tap, being her father. She gets hit by the werewolf and dies. Tired by Nuan’s exactions, the Chinese shrine spirit has to defy Nuan. Nuan and Cham are defeated and held captive in a bottle. Yot, carrying Tap Tim’s body, and Kathin are leaving.

The movie mixes comedy, scary, sexy sequences. An Indian master imprisons a sorcerer, called Mae Mo (แม่มด), in a pot believing she is neutralized. At nighttime, Yupin becomes a fearful spirit (ผีกระสือ). Some animals are killed, and their blood was suck. Wan and Kowit are identified to be behind the murders. Kowit is shot by ruffians while visiting uncle Sai (Pipop Pupinyo). Wan has no choice but to continue in order to get rid of mafia leader Nard. Bin is injured and cured by beautiful doctor Khru Mo (ครูหมอ) (ชลิดา เสาวดี). The village head is worried about revenge by Seua Khaem. Bin meets again the three men chasing him and has to flee. While fleeing, he meets Luang Pho Seua again. Hilltribe lady Baan Su Thong (Thitima Sangkapitak) is fond of Bin. They spend the night together, but Bin flees in the morning, so Baan Su Thong is looking for him. Ut (Dam Datsakorn) enters in the hilltribe village. A fight occurs between Bin and Ut. Ut is defeated. Kom saves the honor of his younger sister Baan Su Thong. Ut requests help for another ruffians’ leader (Rith Luecha). Ruffians storm the village. Many ruffians and villagers die in the fighting. Baan Su Thong is killed. Seua Noi is seriously injured by Bin. Khru Mo is kidnapped by Ut to cure Seua Noi. Finally, Seua Noi leaves as he feels better but as he gets sick again. Seua Noi gets help from Luang Pho Suea and is cured. He realizes that Luang Pho Suea is a real monk and a good man. Seua Noi's father is Seua Khaem. Luang Pho Seua is a former policeman. While trying to catch Seua Khaem many years ago, Luang Pho Seua shot his wife, being Seua Noi's mother, by mistake. So, the policeman became a monk. Hill tribe members and Bin surround the ruffians’ camp. Seua Kaem (Manop Aussawathep) wishes to take revenge and to shoot the monk but Seua Noi intervenes and is shot instead. Devastated, Seua Kaem gives up on his revenge. Luang Pho has been carrying the wife's bones with him and has been wandering around Thailand in order to meet Seua Khaem.

A Japanese VHS version is in 16:9 format but only lasts 1h29mn. It is a Sahamongkol production. A group of heavily armed Thai terrorists (including Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Pinyo Parnnui) are trained in Thailand. The Thai army commander asks to neutralize them asap. Tet (Krung Srivilai), previous military officer and now disabled, is sitting on a wheelchair and is pushed by his wife (Pissamai Wilaisak). He is providing advices to Thai army commander. Det (Sorapong Chatree) is Tet’s previous best fighter (นักรบ). Tet was his superior (ภูพาน) in year 1971. Both Tet and Det were the only survivors following heavy fightings at the Thai border. Tet lost use of his legs. The Daily News Press director sends his best journalist Ann (ศิริพร เอี่ยมสุนทร) to enquiry on a factory building illegally war weapons. The factory owner is Somsak Chaisongkram. The journalist receives threatening to stop her investigation on the factory. Meanwhile Tet demonstrates to Thai army commander his latest armored vehicle (รถวิเศษ). His own daughter (ระพีพรรณ กรสกุล) is the driver. Somsak is also very interested but Tet refuses to sell to him. Somsak sold weapons to communists causing Tet’s former military unit to be decimated. Ruffians storm Tet's house and kidnap his wife. Police inspector (Chaiyan Sorakrai) wishes to help but Tet prefers to handle by himself as those kidnappers are not standard ruffians. Det, learning the news from a newspaper, decides to flee while doing community work in order to help his former boss. Ann helps him to find Tet. During tentative exchange with Somsak, Tet's wife is killed through a remote bomb hidden on her body. It is war. Tet provides proofs to Ann that Somsak sold weapons illegally to Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam. Tet is kidnapped. A bomb is put in Daily news’ office by a renegade police officer but Police inspector Chaiyan stops it on time. Police locates the terrorist camp and tries to destroy it. Det uses the armored vehicle. Tet's daughter joins him with an individual flying machine. As policemen get difficulties, they wipe the terrorist opposition and release Tet. For this movie, Krung Srivilai made his head bald and was sitting in a wheelchair during whole movie. Toranong Srichua used his movie as a reference to show what risks could happen in Thailand in the future. Some happened (domestic terrorists, police officer betraying country, remote bombs on people…).

Young lad, called Paen (Sorapong Chatree), visits famous monk (หลวงพ่อ) in a local Buddhist temple to discuss about his problems. His mother and sister are treated as mistresses by local kingpin Mek. Mek (Somjin Thammatat) also tries to steal the family land. The monk gives to Paen an unique Buddhist amulet called ลำพูนดำ to protect him. Paen is arrested by four policemen led by Paen Pleumsachai. They bring him to a remote area to execute him per Mek’s orders but bullets don't enter (นั่งเนี่ยว) as he is protected by the sacred amulet given by the monk. Paen shoots them back. Policeman Nard Poowanai, as หมวด, is also trying to catch him. Kingpin Mek and subdistrict headman Chat (Krai Kanchit) (ลูกน้องมือขวา) are concerned that Paen succeeded to escape. Paen has many enemies (ศัตรูเยอะ). Two ladies Lom (Piathip Kumwong) and Phit (Thitima Sangkapitak), Paen’s mother and sister, are visiting the village leader. Both are the village leader's mistresses and Lom is also seduced by Chat (เป็นชู). Thai police is still looking after Paen. Paen takes refuge in a village but the village leader (Pumi Patanayut) warns the police. Paen succeeds to flee by having an hostage called Lamai (Mayura Thanabutr). Paen learns who are his enemies through Somsak Chaisongkram. Paen kills three ruffians (มือปืน). Ruffians kidnap young lady Lamai but Paen releases her and injures the village leader trying to abuse her. Young lady Booklee is kidnapped to become Mek’s new minor wife. Khun Mom Sasingha (Kowit Wattanakul) meets Chaba (Ampha Pusit), niece (หลานสาว) of Kamnan Chat. He presents himself as a customer of the underground casino (บ่อน). Pipop Pupinyo is looking for troubles with Sasingha but gets beaten. Chat is then jealous that Sasingha is too close to Chaba. Seua Rit (Suchao Pongwilai) is hired by the village leader to get rid of Paen. Mek’s daughter, Pumarin (Apiradee Pawaputanon), is coming back from overseas following successful studies. Her real father is Rit but he doesn’t want her daughter to know that her father is a thief so the truth was never disclosed to Pumarin. Paen behaves as a Robin Wood (โจร) by giving free goods to poor villagers. A pact is agreed between Paen, Khun Mom Sasingha and Klot (Rith Luecha). Klot wishes to get revenge on Mek as he killed all his family members and kidnapped his niece Booklee. Paen refuses to meet his sister Phit anymore. Both Chat and Lom are buried alive as Mek discovers they are having an affair. Meanwhile Rit kills pregnant Lamai and her mother as they refused to disclose where Paen is hidden. Phit is having an affair with Seua Rit. Per her strategy to protect her brother, Phit claims to Mek that she has been raped by Rit so that Rit cannot harm Paen anymore. Paen releases Pumarin aggressed by ruffians kidnapping her. Klot gains the trust of Mek in order to better spy him. Paen wishes to get revenge on Mek but police surrounds him. The Buddhist amulet saves Paen one more time. Phit protects Paen a last time by shooting Mek but this latter shoots her before dying. Paen listens to Pumarin and surrenders peacefully to the police. A sequel released in year 1988 was called ลำพูนแดง.

Thai movie พยัคฆ์ยี่เก was released in year 1983 and last 1h50mn. It was released under VHS format. A Hong Kong version, also released under VHS format, lasts 1h30mn. The movie is directed by Kom Akadej. Two Hong Kong actors are featured, i.e. David Chiang and Norman Chu. On the movie poster released in Hong Kong, they are of course shown preeminently. A Likay (Thai folk traditional theater) troupe led by teacher Pong (ครู) (Sor Asanajinda) performs in Sukhothai. The main Likay actor is played by Tuan Tong (Sorapong Chatree) and gets a lot of flowers offered especially by ladies including Piathip Kumwong, wife of the village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). It makes the village leader (Manop Aussawathep) to be very upset so he storms the Likay theater with his ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, Panna Rittikrai and Somsak Chaisongkram) to fight with Tuan Tong as he cannot accept that his wife (แม่ตัวดี) spends money on a Likay handsome actor. Both end up at the police station but the police head (Kom Akadej) finally releases Tuan Tong as he did nothing wrong. Back to the Likay theater, Tuan Tong is beaten by ruffians. A local doctor, called Thongdee, always gives free health care to the Likay troupe. Chased again by the ruffians, Tuan Tong and Note Chernyim have to steal David Chiang's jeep to flee. David Chiang, Suriwan Suriyong and Supakorn Srisawat (ดี๋ ดอกมะดัน) are brothers and sisters. Getting back his jeep, David meets Chompoo, Tuan Tong's sister, (ชลิดา เสาวดี) so he even learns Likay skills as he is enamoured. Suriwan is expert in deltaplane. A jewellery money exchange turns badly between Manop and Sothon (โสธร รุ่งเรือง). Sothon is shot by Chat Mongkolchai but he succeeds to flee. He hides the jewellery inside the Likay theater. David is also looking for Sothon so it creates a misunderstanding between Tuan Tong and David. Sothon is killed by ruffians using a deltaplane shooting harpoons but they are still looking for the missed jewellery. They burnt the Likay theater as retaliation. Teacher Pong sells one diamond to rebuild the theater. He has hidden the real jewellery through the fake jewels used in Likay costumes. As Chat failed to capture Pong and is even shot by David, he is replaced by โดม สิงโมฬี. Ruffians storm the Likay theater again during a performance. Teacher Pong is shot by the ruffians with harpoons and killed. Chompoo is captured as she is wearing half of the real jewellery. The ruffians are led by Norman Chu, doctor Thongdee (ชาลี อินทรวิจิตร) and Rith Luecha. David and others Likay male actors (Note Chernyim...) are also captured. Tuan Tong and Suriwan storm the campment. Multiple fightings and shootings happen. Most of the protagonists die except Tuan Tong, Suriwan and his sister.

In South Vietnam, protests happen to ask for US GI departure. The movie takes place in 1975 when America was leaving Vietnam. During Vietnam war, Thailand sent soldiers to South Vietnam to support USA as a partner. Last Thai soldiers (including veteran actor Lak Apichat) are about to leave also but their leader called Cobra (Sorapong Chatree) need them to perform a last task. Cobra and his team get support from Susan, a south Vietnamese soldier. They need to extract Nai Pol from the airport. Nai Pol is an important prisoner (นักโทษสำคัญ). Thanks to Vietnamese uniforms (สหาย), they succeed to infiltrate the base and release the prisoner. Salambo (Suriwan Suriyong), daughter of Nai Pol, joins them. A boat is waiting to evacuate them from Vietnam but Vietnamese soldiers will not let them go so easily. Arrived at the beach, thousands of boat people try also to flee. Susan refuses to leave and dies there. Some boats with Vietnamese soldiers are following them. In the sea, they find 3 stranded people, a banker, a prostitute and a mercenary. To avoid being captured, they have to stop by an island and dynamite their boat to destroy the military boat chasing them. But they have no way to quit the island. Another Vietnamese boat with their tough leader (Manop Aussawathep) arrives on the island to chase the Thai soldiers. Traps are placed in the jungle. Communist soldiers are displayed as heartless, i.e. killing helpless villagers (Krailat Kriengkrai). Dissensions appear as the banker, the mercenary and the prostitute want to go their own way. Tension and stress happen in the humid jungle causing some Thai soldiers to become crazy and less aware of dangers. Vietnamese soldiers defeated America but Thai soldiers are not willing to die one by one. Pol has hidden some microfilms in his leg. It contains the list of Vietnamese sympathizers in Thailand. So it is very important to avoid Bangkok becoming another Saigon. It also contains proofs that USA considered sending a nuclear bomb on Hanoi. The movie ends with various harsh fightings between Thai soldiers and Vietnamese soldiers. Only a limited number of Thai soldiers leave the island alive. Leu (Sorapong Chatree) is a poor Tuk Tuk (สามล้อ) driver and has difficulties to find money to pay his son Tawan school fees. The headmaster (Sarinthip Siriwan) has limited understanding. One day fightings erupt with ruffians asking for protection fee to a Tuk Tuk driver. Leu and his friends (Panna Rittikrai, Note Chernyim) help. Leu hits violently Pipop Pupinyo. Yot (Manop Aussawathep) is head of ruffians. Kowit is a policeman but he cannot help that much. Wan (Thitima Sangkapitak) is owning a street restaurant, where Tuk Tuk drivers always eat. Tuk Tuk needs to pay a parking fee despite it is a public road. Leu is aggressed again while driving his Tuk Tuk so he is late at school to pick up his son. Teacher Panit (Suriwan Suriyong) sends his son back home. The teacher Panit complains on Leu not taking care enough of his son. Fighting erupts with ruffians looking for troubles with the teacher Panit but she has good fighting skills also. Panit is in fact the daughter of Yot. Ruffians fight again with the Tuk Tuk drivers as they refuse to pay extortion fee. They all end up in police station. Thanks to bad influence (อิทธิพล) of gangster Sia Boon Mak, ruffians are released first. The owner of Tuk Tuk cars pay finally for the release fee as the drivers are just renting the cars so they have no money. Leu is very late picking up his son so he meets the teacher again at his home. Sia Boon Mak (นักเลงใหญ่) forces Yot to work with him as he threatens his daughter. Brakes are damaged on Leu's Tuk Tuk as a warning. Tawan's mother, former teacher, died many years ago in a bus accident. Both Leu and Yot ended their studies at ป.4 level. Panit would like her father Yot to stop his dirty ways to do business (วิธีการสกปรก) by exploiting other poor people. Yot argues he had no choice as the society doesn’t give a lot of opportunity to succeed for people ending their studies at low level (ป.4). Following his daughter pressure and wishing to change his life, he agrees to stop. Meanwhile Sia Boon Mak’s ruffians cause Leu's Tuk Tuk to have an accident and his son dies. Leu promises to revenge and refuses to see Panit anymore. Panit proves him that her father is not involved in his son’s death. Yot is now on Leu's side. Leu fails to kill Sia Boon Mak but injures him. As revenge Yot is shot and killed. Wan is kidnapped and killed by Sia Boon Mak. It is too much and Leu assisted by Panit and an army of Tuk Tuk drivers storm Sia Boon Mak’s den. Police led by Kowit finally arrives. Leu doesn't perform self justice and lets police to arrest Sia Boon Mak. Justice will be performed but Leu has to lose his son for this justice to happen… Movie director is มนู วรรณายก. This movie is considered as part 2 of Thai movie เสือภูเขา / The mountain lion (1979). Lao Thong (Sorapong Chatree) is a Meo hill tribe villager. Lao Thong's wife (Suriwan Suriyong) and his son are killed by ruffians led by Dam Datsakorn storming a Meo hill tribe village to steal the cattle. Lao Thong has to get revenge. Tong Chi (Lak Apichat) joins him. Lisu village leader wishes to marry his two daughters including Asuma (Nanthida Kaewbuasai). Per local customs, the husband (พิธีเลือกคู่) needs to win a fight between all contenders. Tong Chi is about to win but ruffians including Pao Porapak and Chat Mongkolchai storm the Lisu village and kidnap Asuma. Lao Thong helps and releases Asuma. He refuses her hand as he is under mourning period but promises to help getting guns to be able to fight against ruffians. In another village, Lao Thong helps a lady aggressed by thugs. She has same face as his former wife. Her name is Soyi and she has good fighting skills also. She is carried by Pipop Pupinyo and Somsak Chaisongkram. Lao Thong buys guns from her brother Lao (Phairoj Jaising), who tries to get rid of him and Lak. Soyi helps Lao Thong to flee so causing her brother's ire. A mysterious soldier (Hong Kong actor ฉีเส้าเฉียน / Norman Chu), called Norman, helps Asuma and her sister aggressed by ruffians. Tong Chi fights against Norman as he believes he tries to seduce Asuma. Lao Thong and Norman also fight. Norman asks to meet Lao to buy weapons. Norman kidnaps Soyi as he wishes to infiltrate the ruffians. Lao tries to release his sister but he is defeated by Norman. Lao Thong releases Soyi and takes away the weapons with Tong Chi. Lao Thong defeats Norman but spares his life. Tong Chi hides weapons inside Lisu village. The village is stormed by ruffians. All gather to storm the ruffians' place. The big leader is identified as Decha (Kecha Plianvithee). Fightings and explosions occur with all ruffians being killed but unfortunately Lao and Tong Chi also die.

In January 1982 a Thai Ranger squad, together with units from the Border Patrol Police and the Royal Thai Army, was used to force Khun Sa to move his headquarters from Thailand across the border into Burma. Sorapong Chatree recalls war and is stressed. He is sent to spy Khun Sa. Twenty men, including Tuanton Kammeesri / Pumi Patanayut / พยัคฆ์ รามวาทิน, arrive in the camp led by Khun Sa. Their trainer is Joomjim Khemlek. Khun Sha (Somjin Thammatat), drug warlord, sells drugs to buy weapons. Manop (Manop Aussawathep) has conflicts with Khun Sha. Manop is attacked on his way back by Burmese soldiers but gets help from Nirut (Nirut Sirijanya). Manop is back to his mountain village with Nirut. His younger sister Rungfa (Nanthida Kaewbuasai) welcomes him. A journalist Pinyo Parnnui is arrested by Somsak Chaisongkram. He wishes to interview khun Sa. Sorapong, disguised as a fleeing prisoner, is attacked by a plane and then is arrested by Khun Sa's men. Siriporn (ศิริพร เอี่ยมสุนทร), daughter of Khun Sa, saves his life but he remains tied. Manop learns that the Burmese soldiers who attacked him are in fact soldiers linked to Khun Sa as real Burmese soldiers would not dare entering Thai soil. Upset, Manop and Nirut storm Khun Sa's HQ but get captured. Sorapong wins Siriporn‘s trust. Khun Sa believes there is a traitor in the camp. Sorapong sympathizes with other men, who are part of the government. Siriporn complains her father produces too much drugs. Drug is given to prisoners to keep them under control. Sorapong succeeds to have his friends escaping but he is then captured. About to be hanged, Sorapong is released by his teammates. Thai forces’ attacks against the camp happen. Many people die but Khun Sa succeeds to flee in Burma. This movie is often considered as Thai remake of US movie "Apocalypse Now" by Francis Ford Coppola.

Yoo (Thitima Sangkapitak) and Kasem (Sorapong Chatree) love each other. Yoo's father doesn't want her daughter to meet Kasem anymore as he is coming from poor background (บ้านนอก / จน). Kasem needs to fight back (ต่อสู้) but Yoo's father refuses to see his kindness and even hits him, so Yoo flees with Kasem. They live in countryside as farmers. Ten years have passed. They have now three children, Yupa, Decha and a baby girl. Yoo keeps crying having pity on her children as they are poor. Yoo wishes to go back to Bangkok but Kasem refuses as unwilling to be despised by the father again. Yoo is tired of this life. As Yoo is sick, Kasem goes to a neighbouring town to buy medicine. When he is back, Yoo has died already. The children are also tired of this hardship and would like their father to bring them to their grandparents. One day some ruffians claim rent fee for the last ten years. As Kasem refuses, he is beaten and left for dead. The house is burnt down. The children have no choice but to go to Bangkok. They finally go by train and are lucky to have another traveller paying their tickets as he has pity of them. Decha always think of eating sweets. Arrived in Bangkok, Decha is separated from Yupa. Yupa is hit by a car. Her eye vision is altered. Meanwhile Decha is recruited in a pickpocket gang (ล้วงกระเป๋า) led by veteran actor Pipop Pupinyo. The couple who hit Yupa with their car is considering adopting the children as they don't have their own kids but the woman has a concern on Yupa as she is already old enough to understand. Knowing this, Yupa prefers to leave in order to secure her small sister's future. Finally the family has another child called Thanee but keeps the secret about the other child named Wilai. Children are now grown up. Decha is deeply involved in robbing, pickpocket activities and even heroin traffic. Yupa (Nanthida Kaewbuasai) is begging as she is almost blind. Decha tries to seduce Wilai, an university student coming from a well-off family, whose wallet has been stolen by his team. Thanee, jealous about Decha, reveals to Wilai the robber background of Decha. Decha complains that no chance is given to him like his father (อยากเป็นคนดี). Thanee (ลูกอิจฉา) also reveals to Wilai that she is not real daughter but just an adopted street child. Reading a newspaper, Wilai's stepfather finds that Wilai's real grandparents search their grandchildren to give their heritage. Hearing a little girl singing his mother lullaby, Decha is able to find back Yupa. Yupa is not aware from where Decha money is coming from. Finally through a final touching sequence Decha loses a potential love with Wilai but finds back his lost sister. This strong drama movie highlights brother-sister bonds (พี่น้องต้องรักกัน).

Thai movie สายใจ was released in year 1981. It lasts 1h45mn. Yae Suk (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Den (Pisarn Akraseranee) have a car accident. They find an arrangement for the damages (ค่าเสียหาย). Her parents are Sarinthip Siriwan (คุณหญิง) and Sawin Sawangrat. Da (Nanthida Kaewbuasai) is her sister. Yae Suk is selling old items from her grandfather to allow the family to survive (หมดตัวแล้ว). But the parents either gamble the money or bet on horses. The father meet Somsak Chaisongkram and Saksit (Porjed Kaenpetch) while playing cards. The father invites them for lunch as he has the idea to marry his daughters in order to get money from the dowry (ค่าสินสมรส). A family gathering for all parties including Ampha Pusit happens to know each other. Da doesn't like Saksit as she believes he is just a gambler. He loses on purpose. Saksit pretends he can buy anything (ซื้อความนับถือความรักไม่ได้). Pho Lieng is also interested by Da and even tries to abuse her. Saksit helps her on time. They all go for a hike in the mountain but accidents occur. Finally Saksit and Da sympathize. Pho Lieng sends men to get rid of them. They have to spend the night in the forest but finally defeat the ruffians. As his daughters spent night outside home, the father claims his family name is tarnished (ขายหน้า). Da refuses to get sold (ถูกขาย). One old family friend mentions that the family name is already tarnished since a long time as the father and mother are strong gamblers. It shouldn't be the daughters' duty to pay for their gambling vice. Misunderstanding happens between Da and Saksit. Den helps to solve the issue. They finally get reunited also.

A fake taxi driver (No taxi meter in 1981 on taxis!) captures a young lady student. His boss, a mysterious and unscrupulous doctor (หมอ) Kampon, takes away her eyes. One of the eyes cannot be used as the fake taxi driver punches her. Da, the doctor’s wife, is blind following a car accident so Kampon needs to find new eyes (ดวงตา). Noi (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Pol,a young couple, are married but have financial difficulties. Pol is looking for a job. The bad servants capture a drunken tramp to steal his eyes. His eyes cannot be used as they are sick (ตายฟรีๆสองคน!). So Kampon shall select next time the donor by himself. Kampon meets Pol and is immediately interested by his eyes. Nang Soi (Preeya Roongrueng), Kampon's servant, is possessed by the two dead spirits (ผีเข้า), i.e. the lady student and the tramp, while walking near their graves. A shaman (หมอผี) is needed. The shaman recommends to put drawing representing religious mystical symbols (ยันต์) and sacred threads (สายสิญจน์) in front of the house to repel ghosts. Kampon's servant comes to take Pol to work. It is a trick to take his eyes to give to his blind wife. The body is thrown away in the same cemetery as the previous bodies (ศพ). Noi has bad premonition about her husband. One of servant Off wishes to help some villagers friends to make love filters so he tells them where to find a fresh dead body, i.e. Pol, to make corpse oil (น้ำมันพราย). Thanks to Pol’s eyes, Da can see again. A shaman (อาจารย์) wakes up Pol's spirit by wishing to get corpse oil (ผีตาโบ๋). It turns to a fiasco. Pol wants his eyes back (เอาลูกตาของกูคืนมา) and wishes to kill Kampon. Noi is worried about her husband and visits Kampon to get news. There is opposition between the modern doctor (นักวิทยาศาสตร์) and the ghost. The doctor has to accept ghost reality and asks help from a traditional shaman called Ket! Pol ghost visits his own house and discusses with his youngest daughter. Only young children are not afraid of ghosts. Pol ghost terrorizes local villagers. Pol appears in Noi's dreams and asks her to remove the sacred items in front of Kampon's house. He is now able inside the house, gets revenge and his eyes back. Shaman Ket cannot help and escapes death as Noi asks Pol ghost to stop his killings. Pol ghost is reduced to ashes and worms as the sunny morning arrives. There is a short funny apparition of legendary comic actor Lor Tok as a guy stealing coconuts at nighttime. As usual in 1980s movies, there is mix of slight horror and comedy with simple Fx effects.

Thai movie ค่าน้ำนม was released in year 1981 and lasts 1h55mn. It was released under VCD format by Solar company and under DVD format by Happy Home Entertainment. It is a remake of the movie ชายผ้าเหลือง shot in 1974. This movie has a similar scenario to the version shot in 1974 but it focuses more about the mother suffering. Previous cinematographic versions were released in year 1953 and 1960 (with Mitr Chaibancha and Preeya Roongrueng). The story is about the love of a mother (Pissamai Wilaisak) towards her two sons, Khun Thong (Sorapong Chatree) and Salika (Porjed Kaenpetch). The mother Bua is widow since her husband was killed by bandits robbing her house. Pissamai wishes to have her two sons becoming monks in order to see them with brown robes (ชายผ้าเหลือง). She needs money to prepare the ceremony. She asks to borrow 2000 THB from the local subdistrict headman but he is unwillingly. Hopefully his daughter Kratin (Wiyada Umarin) pushes him. Another young lady, named Lamduan (Naowarat Yooktanun), also helps by offering money. While Salika is away having sweet talks with Malai (Yotsoi Komarachoon), bandits including village leader Chat Mongkolchai and Somsak Chaisongkram attack Bua's house. The mother is slightly injured and bandits flee away. One of them, Na Kha, is injured to the leg by Salika. The next day, Khun Thong realises Na Kha's injury is not done when chasing bandits but when attacking his home. He now understands that Na Kha previously killed his father 10 years ago during a similar robbery. Khun Thong, in self defense, shots Na khan. The mother's love becomes painful because Khun Thong has become an outlaw (เสือ). Malee, Na Kha’s daughter, is then upset with Salika as he is Khun Thong’s brother. Malee’s mother is played by Preeya Roongrueng. In real life, Preeya Roongrueng is also Yotsoi Komarachoon’s mother. Na Khan's son (โสธร รุ่งเรือง) uses Khun Thong's name to raid other houses so Khun Thong has no way to quit. Khun Thong is a Thai Robin Wood and gives help to the poorest. Khun Thong is still a good son and keeps the money he robbed for his mother and his younger brother to enter monkhood (บวชให้แม่). Rejected by both his mother and brother, who refuse dirty money (เงินโจรต้องอยู่กับโจร), Khun Thong decides to work as a peasant and carpenter to earn money from his hard work. But fate is against him. His girlfriend Kratin is trapped by Na khan son's gang, raped and killed. Khun Thong is accused again. His mother is disappointed by his behavior, saying it was not worth to educate him for becoming an outlaw and that feeding milk to him (ค่าน้ำนม) was such a waste. He becomes an outlaw again to catch Na Khan's son. Meanwhile, Na Kha’s son is upset with his sister Malee as she is pregnant with Salika. Sulaleewan Suwanthat protects Malee against her brother’s ire. Khun Thong wants his teammates (Kanchit Kwanpracha, Pipop Pupinyo, Joomjim Khemlek) to surrender and become good people. Finally he catches Na Khan's son, who recognizes all the evil he has done under Khun Thong's name. It is too late as her mother doesn't want to talk to Khun Thong anymore. Willing to die, he misbehaves a last time to force his mother to shoot him. Before dying, Khun Thong and his mother confirm their filial love and Khun Thong can grab Salika's yellow robe as his brother has become a monk. It is certainly one of the best roles of Sorapong Chatree.

Palat (Sombat Methanee) rapes Piathip Kumwong, his former wife, as he is upset she has another lover (Manop Aussawathep). A kid is born from this relationship but it has no recognized father (ไม่มีพ่อแต่ต้องมีชื่อ). Manop is said to be Yu's father. Uncle (พ่อลุง) Jaeng (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) names the kid as Thunder (เจ้าพายุ), as he is born during a storm, but his nickname is Yu. When Yu was 3 years old, Piathip left home as Palat was having a new wife called Duangcheewan. Being adults, Eum (Thitima Sangkapitak) and Yu (Sorapong Chatree) love each other since childhood. Eum's parents promise her to another man called To (Dam Datsakorn). Palat, Somsak Chaisongkram and To try everything to break this relationship. Eum and Yu flee but are chased by Palat and ruffians led by To. Yu accepts to surrender and is sent to prison. Manop Aussawathep, father of Yu, learns that Palat has been nominated as chief district. He still has a debt to pay with Palat. While Palat is resting with his family, he does attack them. Palat’s new wife (Duangcheewan Komolsen) is shot dead. Pho Seua (Choomporn Theppitak) in prison teaches Yu to master resistance and strength. Yu becomes friend with Pha (Lak Apichat) in prison. Eum, knowing that Yu's father killed Duangcheewan, cannot marry Yu anymore and accepts to marry To. Yu is devastated to learn this news. After a while, Yu is released from jail. Pha is waiting for him. Yu helps Sia Wiwat (Somchai Samipak) and his daughter Chan (Supansa Nuengpirom) Chan having issues with ruffians. He has conflicts with Chat Mongkolchai, head of workers (ป่าไม้). Meanwhile To sends some men (Somsak Chaisongkram and Pipop Pupinyo) to get rid of Yu. Siripong Isarangkul is playing the big boss. They push Manop to force his own son Pha to get rid of Yu. Pha and Yu are in fact brothers. As Pha refuses to kill Yu, To sends Paen Pleumsachai to kill him but it fails as Pha is only injured. Pha gets revenge by shooting Siripong Isarangkul. To's hidden plan is to get rid of Sia Sawat, Yu and to get the sawmill for himself and to get Chan as wife for Chat. Chat uses heavy machine to drop tree logs on the office, where Sia Wiwat and uncle Jaeng are working. Uncle Jaeng dies. Yu has to take revenge on Chat and To. Yu chases To until he can kill him. Final fighting does occur between Manop, Palat and Yu. Manop catches Yu and threatens to kill him if Palat doesn’t surrender. Yu is Palat’s real son! Piathip already lost one son so she cannot accept this and shoots Manop.

A woman is about to deliver her baby. The husband brings his wife on a boat but it is caught in a storm. Their village on the island is wiped away by a tsunami. A boy is born on the boat. The boat is then attacked by a group of pirates (Manop Aussawathep, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Adinan Singhiran and Taksin Jampol). The baby life is spared and is named Ai Klang. During his youth, Ai Klang is trained to use all weapons. Salai (Wiyada Umarin) likes Ai Klang since her childhood. Ai Klang (Sorapong Chatree) has a reputation of having extraordinary skills as storm child (ลูกพายุ). He is disliked by some pirates (Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Rith Luecha and Phaophan Phongnathee) on the island. During a boat attack, the father is injured and the diviner predicts a bad omen for the village (ดาวบอก). Ai Klang and Sarapat, the other son (ลูกพ่อ), keep arguing over Salai. Their pirate (สลัด) village is located on an island. Normally they never keep survivors to avoid their hidden village to be discovered. Sarapat keeps a young lady called Chom (Duangcheewan Komolsen) for his father. She becomes in fact his mistress. Salai's family members are accused of theft. In fact, their crime is to have seen Sarapat and his mistress Chom together. Through a deadly game, two are shot but the father survives as Ai Klang fails, on purpose, to hit him three times. Ai Klang rescues a young lady Malai (Nantana Ngao Krajang) whose boat is wrecked on the island. It causes Salai's jealousy. While bringing her back to her father, Ai Klang is recognized as pirate and needs to flee. Ai Klang learns from Salai's father that he is not the real son of the pirates’ leader. While the father is away, the bad pirates get rid of Salai's father despite Ai Klang's resistance. Ai Klang is attached to a pole during rising tide but Salai helps him before he gets drowned. Sarapat takes over the island while his father is away. When the father is back, he is captured. While Sarapat and his men celebrate their victory, the island volcano wakes up. Ai Klang and a number of men faithful to the father attack the renegade pirates. Fight is fierce but they win. Salai is killed during the fightings. Ai Klang ends up fighting with his father as he killed his real parents twenty years ago. He is unable to kill him as twenty years together have created strong filial bonds. To acknowledge his mistake, the father announces that they all stop to be pirates! But it is too late as finally a tsunami wipes the island. Just before, the father sent Ai Klang and Malai to take refuge on higher grounds. ไอ้คลั่งทะเลโหด was released in year 1979 and features an impressive list of famous 1970s Thai actors. Star wars movie soundtrack is used. The movie was never released officially in VCD or DVD format but a VHS telezin version can be found around. It is supposed to be one of the few Thai movies shot in 70mm format.

Lao Thong (Sorapong Chatree) is a Hmong leaving in Northern part of Thailand. He has a wife called Siew Fa and a young boy named Soo Noi. While he is away, his wife Siew Fa has been kidnapped by ruffians, who have been threatening the mountain villagers since years. Lao Thong's nickname is the Mountain Lion (เสือภูเขา) as he can run very fast. Lao Thong goes after the ruffians and find their camp. Their leader is Museudam. Lao Thong and Siew Fa have to kill Chayo, Museudam's brother, in order to escape from the ruffians' camp. They need to flee with their son from the Hmong village as Museudam seeks for revenge. Unfortunately Lao Thong and his family are captured by another ruffians group. Hopefully their leader, Cha Teun, is a former sergeant who knows well Lao Thong. Some ruffians believe they are undercover policemen so Lao Thong has to fight and defeat them to win his freedom. Opium trade has always been a huge traffic in Northern Thailand due to Golden Triangle (Burma, Laos and Thailand). Lao Pho (Lak Apichat) is a Hmong village working with the police border to neutralize local ruffian gangs. Cha Teun's gang is attacked by the Police. Cha Teun believes that Lao Thong is the traitor who warned the police. Then both gangs decide to take revenge over him. They decide to hire another Hmong as only a lion can catch a lion. His wife, Siew Fa, is injured. Na Cha (Jarunee Sooksawad), Lao Pho's sister, helps them. Museudam and Cha Teun try to hire Lao Pho (แมวไม่ฆ่าแมว) but to no avail. So Museudam kills Lao Pho's father and accuses Lao Thong so he suceeds to convince Lao Pho's to chase Lao Thong. Na Cha fights very well but is in fact a girl. Siew Fa finally kills herself to avoid being the one slowing her family down. Lao Thong takes revenge over the ruffians, who disband. The two ruffian groups even kill each other and only Cha Teun succeeds to flee as his own gang is wiped away. A love story starts between Lao Thong and Na Cha. Na Cha succeeds to convince her brother that the culprit is Museudam and not Lao Thong. Museudam kidnaps Lao Thong's son. Lao Thong, Cha Teun, Na Cha and Lao Pho storm the ruffians' campement. Ruffians are defeated but Lao Pho dies while protecting Lao Thong. The Mountain Lion is one of the most famous movies directed by Kom Akadej. It is shot within beautiful Thai northern landscapes. It was one of the few Thai movies dealing about Hmong community. The Mountain Lion - เสือภูเขา (1979) movie remains famous for its Kung Fu scenes. This film was one of the first to mix elaborate stunt work and well choreographed fight scenes.

A remastered version was released by Five Star Production (ไฟว์สตาร์โปรดักชั่น) in the decade 2010s and shown on Thai TV cable. It was released under VCD format by Lepso company. Movie director is เพชร ราชภรณ์. A group of six friends (including เด่น ดอกประดู่, Der Doksadao, Thep Po-ngam) are doing magic tricks and selling medicine to cure toothache, but it fails to be a good business. Running out of money, they decide to rob a bank. Sithao Petcharoen and Thuam Thoranong are among the policemen being warned about a robbery. Sompong Phonmitr, as head of police, orders the Police to surround the bank. The six friends succeed to flee by disguising themselves as ladies. They put a fake bomb around a group of ruffians (Dam Datsakorn, Lak Apichat, Pipop Pupinyo, Somsak Chaisongkram, อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์...), who promised to get revenge knowing it was a trick. The bank boss is Boo Wibunnan. The police head is upset with three policemen as they let the six fake ladies escape. They must catch them back to erase their mistakes. The six friends have a car accident but get help from truck drivers led by young lady Ae (Nipaporn Nongnuch). Ae invites them to her home. There, they find Boo, Ae's father, playing cards with other men. Luckily, Boo does not recognize them. Boo is losing money. As Tok is knowing card tricks, he gets the money back. The six friends prefer to leave afraid that Boo would recognize them. They decide to look for a job in Bangkok. Ae invites them to her home in Bangkok and guarantees that her father will find jobs for them. Going to Bangkok, Tok leaves the bank bag full of money to his aunt Malee Wetpraseri. The friends then separate to avoid being caught by the police. Tok meets his old old friend Elvis (วิสูตร ตุงคะรัตน์ - Thai Elvis), who invites him. In Ae’s house, the friends meet the aunt Chosri Misommon and Ae’s elder sister Ann (Duangcheewan Komolsen). The ruffians try to take revenge over the six friends, but finally they give up as they see the Police chasing the friends. Back at his aunt’s house, Tok finds she has died, and the money has disappeared. At the funerals, Sukon Koewliam announced to Tok that aunt Hom had used the money to donate to the local Buddhist temple to build a sacred chapel. Thai people finally catch the six friends and Boo recognizes them as robbers of his bank!

Toon's former boyfriend, Bati, dies in a parachute accident. Her parents send her to study in France in order to forget this sad story. Doctor Sompong (Sorapong Chatree) is Toon's childhood friend. Both parents wish Toon (Nantana Ngao Krajang) and Sompong to marry but they don't love each other. Romance happens at Dusit zoo with Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in the background. Sompong tries his best but Toon is not receptive (เอาใจยาก). Toon likes music and dancing. One night a biker mechanic falls in love with Toon by seeing her in a nightclub. She still cannot forget Bati (รักเดียวใจเดียว). Thongchai, friend of Rat, coming back from USA, has same look as Bati so Toon gets confused at first. Sompong decides to learn dancing. Toon likes to play fool with Sompong. One of her friend, Rat, is sponsored by Thanong (Somsak Chaisongkram). Rat acts as a matchmaker (แม่ซื้อ). Thongchai misses the USA for its sex freedom, openness, lack of conservative society but Thai culture is different. So Toon stops seeing Thongchai as she doesn't share his view. Sompong continues his best without forcing Toon. Thongchai keeps harassing Toon. Toon's hot temper causes issues in her own family and she refuses any arranged wedding with Sompong. While going out at nighttime, she falls in a trick set up by Thanong. The biker mechanic tries to help but he gets severely beaten as he is outnumbered. Thanong can then rape Toon. Toon's father (Somkuan Krajangsat) and Sompong are looking for her. She is found unanimated in a small road. Sompong helps Toon to recover and keep high spirit through touching words (เริ่มตอนชีวิตใหม่). Toon accepts to marry Sompong. Thanong is finally arrested for prostitution incitation. The mechanic guy learns about the wedding on the newspapers. His love failure remains a defeat for him amplified by the beatings on the head including sequels. On the wedding day unable to keep his frustration he shots Toon. Toon dies. Toon and Sompong are separated a last time (จากกันเพื่อไม่ต้องจากกันอีก). This movie is a strong romantic drama from decade 1970s highlighting many social issues such as women liberalization, arranged wedding... This movie features a great soundtrack with many famous decade 1970s songs. Actors are wearing great flared (pattes d'éléphants) jeans.

Thai movie ชาติผยอง was released in year 1978 and lasts 1h45mn. It is directed by Ruj Ronnapop. Plaew Suriyong (Sombat Methanee) is back to Thailand after many years in Chicago. His father has been killed. He is immediately kidnapped by ruffians led by Sahat Piempongsan and including Somsak Chaisongkram / Paen Pleumsachai. He has to kill Sarayut (Sor Asanajinda), a popular politician, against a reward of 1M baht and one airplane ticket to go anywhere. Sarayut's wife was fed up with the risks linked to politics so she left him 10 years ago to go to Italy with their young son. Plaew has to be a hitman (มือปืน). Sahat lies to Plaew in order to have Sarayut killed. As Plaew's father was a politician, he would be the right scapegoat. A lady called Romanat (Duangcheewan Komolsen) helps Plaew to prepare the shooting and gets in love with him. Plaew has one week to do the job. The killing shall happen during a speech. He meets Manop Aussawathep to learn more his father's death. Plaew still wanders who has killed his father, who was also a politician. People, who wish to hurt Thailand, killed his father. They now chase him also. Politics in Thailand is full of bad influence (อิทธิพล), corruption and murders through hitmen. Romanat warns him that people try to kill him. Romanat wishes to flee with Plaew and mentions that she knows Sahat will shot Plaew once the job is done. During the political gathering, Plaew doesn't shoot Sarayut but his opponent. This causes Sahat's ire and Plaew needs to flee to Malaysia. Plaew meets Lucky Jack (Jatuphol Poopirom) in Malaysia but they have to flee to Rome, Italy due to problems with police. Lucky Jack is in fact Sarayut's son! In Rome, Plaew seduces Maria that Lucky Jack also loves. As Sahat threatens to kill Romanat, Plaew has seven days to come back to Thailand. Maria loves Plaew but gets killed during a gunfight. Lucky Jack doesn't forgive Plaew. Plaew and Lucky Jack go back to Bangkok to catch Sahat. Sahat sends Romanat as a gift to lucky Jack acting as a local ruffian. Finally both Plaew and Lucky Jack love again the same woman, i.e. Romanat. Plaew learns that Sarayut is behind his father's death. Misunderstandings happen between Jack and Plaew as ruffians push Jack against Plaew. Meanwhile Sarayut, as smart and evil politician, plays also the two men against each other. Sarayut, as nasty politician, is wishing to send Plaew to trial in order not to be accused of any collusion of the previous shooting done by Plaew. He pushes his own son to shoot Plaew. Finally Plaew shots Sarayut but gets shot by Lucky Jack. This is a typical action movie from the 1970s highlighting the bad sides of the Thai politics.

Nitaya (Aranya Namwong), going out of a factory by bicycle, is a witness of a lawyer murdered by a hitman and ordered by Han (Somsak Chaisongkram). Han is ordered by his boss to get rid of a traveller arriving at Don Muang airport. The traveller is working for Tawan Siriwat. Tawan (Manop Aussawathep) visits Tawan Siriwat in his supermarket and sees where he stores his gold. Working with Han, Tawan shoots Tawan Siriwat and his men. One of them can flee and injures Tawan. Tawan shoots back at him and a petrol station explodes. Jirasak (จิระศักดิ์ อิศรางกูร) witnesses this event. Pinyo Parnnui is Jirasak’s friend selling flower garlands to car owners. Nitaya meets Tawan at the hospital. Tawan lies about his injury. He contacts a ruffian called See Prom (กฤษณะ อำนวยพร) to get the gold on his behalf. Meanwhile Jirasak and Pino go back to the supermarket hoping to steal some food. They see See Prom and his men transporting gold, so they succeed to steal it and flee with See Prom's car. They request help from Rot (Sayan Chantaraviboon) in order to sell the gold. They hide in a hotel, but a man recognizes See Prom's car and alerts him... The three friends succeed to flee and take refuge in a Buddhist temple near their home. See Prom is aware as he gets the information from Rot's wife. Attacked by ruffians, the three friends get help from the undertaker, called Thong (Sombat Methanee), being a half-crazy man back from the Vietnam war. They ask his help to hide the gold. Ruffians are back for revenge. Thong neutralizes the leader Tawan. Tawan proposes them to join his team and to go to North of Thailand to meet Lao Seu, being a gold reseller. Meanwhile Tawan stores the gold in a safe. Later Nitaya visits Tawan and realises there are many ruffians in his home. The four friends celebrate in a restaurant about their future wealth and Nitaya joins them. Nitaya warns the four friends about Tawan as he has no plan to share anything with them. She is aware about the gold. See Prom and Han try to get rid of Nitaya but fail as her Police colleagues help her on time. Police are now aware that Tawan acts as a ruffian and are collecting proofs against him. The four friends wish to get back the gold as they don't trust Tawan. They ask help from two additional friends, Uten Boonyong and Sorapong Chatree, experts in opening safes. Uten has a romance with Melanie, Tawan’s girlfriend. He convinces her to help and to bring Tawan outside his home while he and his friends open the safe. They successfully open it thanks to Sorapong and go to the North of Thailand to meet Lao Seu. Tawan, being upset, kills Melanie as she betrayed him. The friends (including ต่อลาภ กำพุศิริ) meet Lao Seu (Lor Tok). They try to sell the gold but Tawan and his ruffians intervene. Fighting occurs. Ruffians are finally killed including See Prom and Tawan. Thai police with Nitaya arrive and arrest everybody.

Chet (Sorapong Chatree) performs love scene with Manvika (Piathip Kumwong) in front of cameras. Manvika (ดาวโป้) is a sex movies star. Veena (Monrudee Yamaphai), her teen daughter, feels ashamed. Manvika draws a line between public life and private life. She works hard to pay her daughter’s studies. There is a crazy painter called Marut (Manop Aussawathep) living near their home and drawing big vagina, i.e. his vision of a mother, or big penis (พระเจ้า), i.e. his vision of the humanity creation. The art critic doesn't understand him and sees him as a sex maniac only. The artist is seen as obscene (ลามก) by his neighbours. Veena gets interest in this artist and also starts to draw similar vagina during school art lessons. She is studying in a catholic private school. Next week is Veena's birthday. Veena has feelings that her mother doesn't spend enough time with her and more time with other men while playing movies. A journalist called Surasak keeps harassing the mother. As a vengeance as Manvika slapped him, the journalist publishes picture of her daughter Veena presented as a new star (ดาวรุ่งดาวใหม่). Despite not being aware, Veena is threatened to be expelled if it ever happens again as her school can only accept good mindset lady (สุภาพบุรุษสตรี). Society doesn't make a difference between a job and real personality of people. They all believe Manvika can only be an easy woman. The artist is also despised as sexual representations cannot be art according to society prejudices. While going back from restaurant, Veena's friend car hits the artist. Veena helps to bring him back home safely. The journalist is still angry and writes devastating reviews about Manvika. He is also a corrupted guy accepting money to write good reviews. Veena understands the artist motivations and doesn't believe what he is drawing is dirty as it is the origins of our world. People start to gossip, including Surasak the journalist, as Veena visits him every day. Neighbours believe a sex maniac artist and a daughter of porno star can only do bad things together. Veena wishes the artist to draw mountains or sea and he follows her advice. Following Surasak’s pressure, Manvika is downgraded to second role by movie director (Adul Dulyarat). One evening, the artist wishes to draw a nude painting of Veena. Afraid she starts shouting and fighting back. Surasak following them secretly takes pictures to be published on Thairat newspaper’s first page and pretending a rape. The artist is beaten by the mob. Nobody talks anymore to Veena (คนเลว) at her school. Manvika tries to get help from other newspapers but with no avail. Veena is fired from her school. Surasak’s wife (Metta Roongrat) asks him to consider how he would react if his own daughter was tarnished the same way. Nobody comes to Veena’s birthday (รังเกียจหนู). Newspapers can shape belief of people as even Manvika doubts about her own daughter. Only the artist understood her, so she leaves her home to find him in Koh Samet (เข้าใจกันดี). Following Manvika's tearful pleas, Surasak recognizes his mistakes and promises not to write about her and her family anymore. Being recognized on Koh Samet island, police and her mother are coming to get Veena back. Veena doesn't want to go back with her mum and be called as sex star daughter (ลูกสาวดาวโป้) again. Marut, the artist, gets shot by the police. Only the crazy artist was understanding Veena. This movie กาม includes strong critique of newspapers living on scandals (ข่าวเป็นข่าว), strong critique of society preconceived opinions on art and people public life. Many famous Thai actors have a cameo appearance in this movie.

Krung Srivilai is getting married. Some partygoers people take Krung for a last drink to celebrate. His wife will wait for him. While Krung is having a few drinks, his wife is raped by four men including Pipop Pupinyo (wearing a wig) and Somsak Chaisongkram. He discovered her body recovered by roses. The crime is signed by Red Roses gang. Krung promises to take revenge. He helps his wife’s sister (Naowarat Yooktanun) being attacked by the gang also. Nirut Sirijanya and his brother take profit of gang rivalries to take some suitcases full of money and drugs. The brother has issues when protecting a young lady against ruffians but inspector Sorapong Chatree is helping. Lowu is the Chinese leader of Red Roses gang. Both Nirut and Krung are captured by the gang but succeeded to escape. Khun Ling (Aranya Namwong) or White Rose is arriving from Singapore. Only the White Rose knows the identity of Red Roses gang’s real leader so she is welcomed at the airport by Sorapong before the gang can kidnap her. Meanwhile Krung falls in love with Naowarat. Krung is captured again. He is framed in a murder. Krung kills one of his wife’s assassin but is then facing inspector Sorapong as he cannot break the law either. Red Rose gang leader is played by veteran actor Adul Dulyarat. Naowarat is kidnapped by the gang. The leader recalls Krung far souvenirs when he was a soldier. The gang leader’s wife and daughter were killed by Thai soldiers during shootings. Since that day, he wishes to take revenge over Krung. To get Naowarat released, Krung has to shoot White Rose, who is a danger for the gang. As Krung and White Rose were lover in the past, it is a difficult decision. While Sorapong and White Rose are having a diner, Krung shoots her but it is only a trick. Nirut's brother and his mum are killed by Lowu. Nirut's brother was working as police informer. Nirut wishes to revenge also. Nirut and Sorapong storm the cave where the gang is hiding. They release Krung and Naowarat. Khun Ling shots herself the gang leader. The movie “The man from hell” or ใครจะอยู่ค้ำฟ้า (1978) is currently available through Ocean Shores video tape in English only. It is weird to have Sorapong, Krung with an English dubbing but as least Thai music was kept. The movie has sometimes a weird directing. As the movie is only 1h26mn, it is highly probable that it was cut for an international version as most Thai Movies during 1970s last almost two hours. 5 Top Thai stars are starring in this movie, i.e. Krung Srivilai, Sorapong Chatree, Nirut Sirijanya, Naowarat Yooktanun, Aranya Namwong. ลูกขวาน is a Thai movie released in year 1977. It lasts 1h54mn. This action movie, directed by director Kom Akadej, features a great bunch of Thai actors. Sing A (Sombat Methanee) arrives too late as his father Nae Klam died already. His father was a big mafia boss (นักเลง) so smaller bosses (Chun - Dam Datsakorn, Kam - Choomporn Theppitak, Pon - Sahat Piempongsan, Krong - Kanchit Kwanpracha) want to become the leader instead. The movie features fighting between those smaller bosses in order to become the big boss. Back from overseas, Sing A is welcomed by KoLit (Kecha Plianvithee) and by his mother (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng). Krai Kanchit challenges Sing A but as he is defeated, he finally joins Sing A's team. Ruffians are using axes (ขวาน) for fighting so giving the movie name, i.e. ลูกขวาน, "axe child". Many groups want to get rid of Sing A. Prachom (Lak Apichat) gives a hand to Sing A aggressed by motorbikes on the beach. Kam (Choomporn Theppitak), married to Metta Roongrat, is one of the small leader wanting to kill Sing A. Nop (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) and Sai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) are close friends with Sing A. Sing A finally sympathizes with Nolee (Aranya Namwong), daughter of Nop. Phi Pon (Sahat Piempongsan) and his team start hostilities and take over a mine. Mek (Chana Sriubon) and Wan are having a love affair. Tan (Manop Aussawathep) orders to kill Sing A. KoLit and Mek defeat Pipop Pupinyo and his guys trying to enter in their ranch. Krong is shot and injured by another gang. Tan refuses to work with Phi Pon (ขายหน้า). Chat Mongkolchai and his ruffians attack Mek's house but get defeated by KoLit and Mek following a long boat race. Wedding is happening between Mek and Wan. Chun is looking for troubles during the wedding but gets punched by Sing A. Tan is burnt in his car by Phi Pon's team and becomes blind. As a revenge, Phi Pon gets killed by Kanchit. Tan relearns to shoot using his ears instead of eyes. Pinyo and his ruffians kill Sing A's mother but get axed by KoLit and Mek. Kam is arrested by the police. Aranya has a cancer but Sing A still wishes to marry her. Tan takes his revenge over those who caused the fire making him blind. All mafia leaders are now out of the game except Chun. A feast is organized but Chun's ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram) are bringing a mess. Honor needs to be washed with blood (เลือดต้องล้างกับเลือด). Chun's house is stormed and Chun himself is killed but remaining people including Sing A get caught by police. This Kom Akadej's movie is a non stop action movie featuring around twenty key actors / actresses from decade 1970s.

Thai movie ลุย was released in year 1977 and lasts 2h03mn. It was released under VCD format by company Solar Marketing. A remastered version was released by Five Star Production in the decade 2010s and shown on Thai TV cable. Movie director is Ruj Ronnapop. Lui (Sombat Methanee), Nai (Kanchit Kwanpracha), Lui's Father, Pipop Pupinyo, Somsak Chaisongkram, Deuan (Uten Boonyong) are part of a secret mafia organization. Paen Pleumsachai and his men attack Deuan. Lui and other colleagues arrive to help but his father dies in the fighting. Lui is a hitman in the organization. Lui is married to Sai Nam (Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej). Fed up to be a hitman for 10 years, Lui has decided to stop in order to take care of his wife Sai Nam and his son. He informs his friend Deuan. The secret organization (องค์การ) is not willing to let him go so easily as he knows all the internal secrets. They send two hitmen to kill him. They fail but, before being shot, one of them lies that Deuan is the one who disclosed Lui's location. Another three hitmen led by Somsak are sent but are also killed by Lui. The organisation asks Nai to manage but he refuses as he believes Lui has done nothing wrong. The organisation decides to send Nai to Hong Kong as they lose some trust with him. Ruffian Tio shall be the one to manage Lui. Kanchai Insree (Dam Datsakorn) is hired by Tio (Adul Dulyarat) to kill Lui as Deuan refuses to do the job. A bomb is put in his car. Unfortunately, his wife and son are killed. Lui shoots Deuan as revenge as he believes he is the culprit. Lui takes Boi, Deuan's son, to raise as his own son. Aunt Dou (Duangjai Hathaikarn) is helping. Boi reveals the truth to Lui, i.e. Deuan was beaten as he refused to kill Lui. Pipop and others are killed by Lui. Kanchai is also killed but before dying, he shouts to Boi that Lui is the one, who killed his father Deuan. Lui meets Prakasit (Sahat Piempongsan) by luck in a mall. Chasing happens but Lui spares his life as Prakasit hides behind his daughter. They take refuge in Kanchanaburi. Boi grows up there and learns how to shoot. He is played by Sorapong Chatree. Lui is now having a moustache. Ruffians led by Tio are still looking for Lui. Tio is having good time with girls managed by แม่ Soi (Aranya Namwong). Tio is killed by Lui. They invest in a Pattaya hotel by buying shares in order to prepare a future for Boi, Aunt Dou and Soi. Boi meets a young lady Not (เดือนเต็ม สาลิตุล) looking for a hotel room with her friend Metta. Nai is back from Hong Kong. Three ruffians’ leaders are left. Metta is Sakdan's son trying to identify where Lui is hiding. Lui is warned by Soi. Lady Not is Prakasit's daughter. Lui takes care of Sakdan. Kamphet (Manop Aussawathep) kills Soi as she refuses to disclose where Lui is hiding. Nai arrives at the hotel. Boi hears Lui and Nai talking together and that Lui killed his father Deuan through a misunderstanding. He wishes to kill uncle Lui as revenge despite Aunt Dou explaining to him. Thanks to Metta, ruffians now know where Lui is hiding. Boi is willing to shoot Lui and Lui accepts it. He uses an empty gun to shoot the man, who killed his father, but cannot shoot the uncle, who raised him. Ruffians storm Lui's place. Both Nai and Lui are injured. They chase Boi away. Boi faces Metta and is knocked out by him. Nai is shot by ruffians. Lui is shot multiple times by ruffians. Ruffians are celebrating their victory. On his last breath, Lui shoots at the explosives he put under his house. Ruffians are wiped out. Lui dies in Boi's arms.

A group of ruffians (Pinyo Parnnui) indulging in drugs and alcohol is terrorizing a slum. Mateson (Aranya Namwong) is married to Atisak. They have child called Pheung (Lalana Sulawan). Atisak has a mistress so Mateson has no choice but to divorce. The house remains under Atisak's name as she made the mistake to give him money in order for her parents to believe he was a richer bachelor (ผู้อุปถัมภ์). They have to move in a slum to get cheap rent. They get some support from their aunt (Metta Roongrat). Mateson is looking for a job. Karucha (Sombat Methanee) interviews her. Hearing the unfair rumors on Mateson, he decides to recruit her. Karucha has also a daughter. A fight happens between Karucha and Atisak as they meet in a restaurant. Police, led by police inspector Lak Apichat, is looking for evidence that the ruffians are selling drugs in the slum. Karucha wishes to marry Mateson but she refuses. Meanwhile police shoots the ruffians. Their leader, injured, consigns a bag of heroin to Pheung. When Mateson is back, drug is given to police. Ruffians promises to take revenge on the mother and the daughter. Police is looking after their house. One evening as Karucha couldn't send them back home as his daughter has to be sent to hospital, they get caught in a serious storm and the ruffians catch them inside the slum as the taxi refuses to go up to their home. Both get raped. Mateson still refuses to go in Karucha's home. Pheung remains in a shocked state despite support of the doctor (Wiyada Umarin). The ruffians get released later. Mateson decides to take revenge by herself as men never take responsibility. She frames Atisak in a trap by disguising herself as a black prostitute. Atisak's new girlfriend, being jealous, shoots him. She learns how to make up well. She then shots three ruffians by attracting one of them by playing a junky. All those killings start to have an impact on Mateson's spirit. People start to make a link between the ruffians killings one by one and the number of dolls given to the daughter. Killing happen in atrocious ways such as acid and cut by a train on railway. Two are left, i.e. the leader Yong (Somsak Chaisongkram) and Paew (Somphob Benjatikul). Paew discovers that she is Mateson but finally all die. Mateson has become crazy. She succeeds to kill them one by one but her eager wish to take vengeance leads her to madness. Thai movie ทองพูน โคกโพ ราษฎรเต็มขั้น / Taxi Driver (Citizen I) was released in year 1977. Thongpoon (Jatuphol Poopirom) is a Thai farmer coming from Udon Thani and going to Bangkok. Thongpoon sold his rice field in Udon and has spared money during five years to buy a taxi. This taxi represents the future for him and his young son. It is his dream to have his own taxi. Thongpoon is gullible. Rich Bangkok people cheat him by claiming having no change but Taen, a kind-hearted prostitute, gives him a note without asking change back. Her name is Taen (Wiyada Umarin) and she has issues with Somsak Chaisongkram (แมงดา) as she is pregnant. Thongpoon helps chasing Somsak away and becomes her regular taxi driver. He picks up her at her working place (อาบอบนวด). Thongpoon proposes to Taen to take care about his son but not easy to stop such job well paid. Thongpoon meets also Pinyo Parnnui, who claims to be a Thai soldier having fought in Vietnam and now being paralyzed. When his taxi get stolen by bad boys, his life alters. As they also steal his money, he is expelled from his home by his landlord (Marasri Isarangkul) as he cannot pay the rent. He ends up working on a construction site. His goal is to get back his taxi by all means. Pinyo brings him where the ruffians mingle but he gets beaten again. A business card lost allows to identify Boo Wibunnan as garage owner. He then forgets Taen and son. He refuses money from Taen to buy a new taxi as he doesn't want to be a pimp (แมงดา). He storms Boo’s garage and kill the ruffians trying to stop him. This madness leads him to prison. This movie highlights the impossible fight between poor and rich influential people, the analogy between the buffalo and the taxi for poor Isan people in Bangkok. Jatuphol Poopirom got a Thai award for his performance. It was his first movie. Sorapong Chatree was supposed to play the main role of Thongpoon but he was not available for the shooting so new comer Jatuphol Poopirom replaced him. As Jatuphol Poopirom died during a car accident in 1981, Sorapong Chatree played the main role in Citizen II. ChatriChalerm Yukol drove around Bangkok for weeks with cab drivers gathering anecdotes for "The Citizen".

Previously it was released under VCD format by Solar company (2h12mn). Movie director is ชุติมา สุวรรณรัตน์. This is a romantic family drama movie putting focus on couple life. Plak (Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej) doesn't trust her husband Cheut (รักงาน) as he is working always late having meetings with Somchai Samipak and manager Sak (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Ram (Somsak Chaisongkram) and aspiring model Rose (Sirikwan Nanthasiri) have a relation. Ram promises to visit her parents to officialise their relationship. Plak remains very upset as for his job, Cheut (Sombat Methanee) has to meet models. She believes he is having affairs, but she cannot catch him. It makes Cheut’s life miserable and they often quarrel. Cheut is drunk one night and meets waitress Deuan (Naiyana Shewanan). On the following day, she is aggressed and raped by two ruffians. It is a strong scene and probably one of the first movies where the main actor is unable to help the main actress. Another movie was Thon (โทน) where Chaiya is unable to help Aranya on time. It was a new trend from 1970s movies being more realistic than previous decades. Deuan's mother is played by Sulaleewan Suwanthat. Plak’s mother is played by Phong Lada Pimolpan. Rose is pregnant with Ram but he refuses to take responsibility of the baby (คนใจสัตว์) and hits her. He forces Rose to trick Cheut in order to accuse him about the pregnancy. Another day, the ruffians threaten Deuan again but Cheut and Prachuap are luckily there. They help Deuan and a fight occurs with ruffians. Cheut brings back Deuan home. Deuan's mother takes care of eight poor children and raises them so Deuan's work is important to have money for all expenses. There are children from poor prostitutes, who cannot raise them. Cheut finds a job for Deuan in Sak's company in order to work daytime instead of nightime. Plak brings trouble to Deuan so she wishes to change job. Cheut wants to have a child but Plak keeps eating birth control pills. Deuan continues to bring troubles at Cheut’s office. He gets closer to Deuan as she has everything he wishes Plak had. By hazard, Plak is present in a shop where Sak buys dresses for Deuan on behalf of Cheut. Sak organises a meeting between the two ladies to ease the tension. Deuan acknowledges she loves Cheut but gets pity from him (ความสงสาร) and not real love (ความรัก). She doesn't wish to break his marriage and mentions that Plak is a bad wife not taking care properly of his husband. Plak wants to take revenge over Cheut and goes out with Ram. Ram brings Plak to a short time hotel. He tries to abuse her but hopefully Sak, passing by, helps her. The next day, Cheut gives a lesson to Ram in a bowling alley but Ram promises to get revenge. Deuan visits a doctor and finds she is pregnant with Cheut. She has a worrying heart disease. The doctor warns she could lose her life by giving birth. But she is willing to take the risk as she knows Cheut wishes a child and she wishes to thank him for all his kindness towards her family. Plak changes her behavior and tries to be a good wife caring about her husband. On the opposite side, Cheut becomes harsher. Plak feels that Cheut changed a lot and that his love has moved to another woman. Cheut comes back home very late even on her birthday. Plak is at hospital and Cheut takes care about Deuan being sick. Ram tricks Cheut by mentioning to Rose's brother that he is one who refused to take responsibility. Cheut is kidnapped while going to Deuan's home to bring her for child delivery. Meanwhile Plak prepares to leave home for UK knowing she has lost Cheut due to her continuous jealous behavior. As Cheut is still not coming to bring Deuan to hospital, Deuan calls his home and talks to Plak without being aware. Decided to do a last good thing for Cheut, she brings Deuan to hospital and then goes towards airport. Cheut gets beaten by Rose’s brother but finally Rose confesses Ram is the father. General fighting occurs and Rose shoots Ram going to stab her brother. Cheut arrives at hospital before the delivery. Reading the letter that Plak left for him, he rushes to airport being puzzled by Deuan’s sentence that it is probably the last time they meet. He brings back Plak to hospital mentioning that such hasty departure decision should be discussed with cold heart. A child is born but Deuan has died. Plak promises to take care of all children. This movie highlights the difficulties of life for main wife (เมียกลาง) and mistress (เมียน้อย), their place in society, the choice for the husband between two wives and the way some Thai men can abuse women in Thai society (Deuan feeling ashamed of having been raped and not going to police to fill a complaint, Ram refusing assuming Rose’s pregnancy).

Ket (Krung Srivilai) promises to his dying boss to go to Khao Kiaw to find the children he never had time to care of. Viwe (Songthong), an independant ruffian is wandering around Khao Kiaw. Kraison and his sister Mon are besieged in a restaurant by ruffians. Viwe agrees to help them but is asking for money as reward. Ket, having his lunch, helps them by shooting the ruffians. They all flee. Later in the village, Ket helps a young lady called Kaem (น้องสาวคนสวย) (จะไม่มีวาสนาเห็นขาอ่อนของฉัน) harassed by a few ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram). Ket is looking for uncle Pran. Ket learns from Kaem that uncle Pran was shot a few months ago. Kaem brings Ket to meet Pran's children, i.e. Plaew (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Prai (Suriya Chinaphan). Kaem is Prai's girlfriend. Pracha (Kecha Plianvithee) is the ruffians leader. They all refuse to sell their land to Pracha. Pracha wants to know who is the man who resists to his ruffians. Plaew hires Ket to protect her fields (ไร่). Many beautiful “luk thung” (ลูกทุ่ง) are performed by Krung and Naowarat. Plaew bewares of Ket as he insolent (ทะลึ่ง). Pracha hires Viwe to kill Kraison. The ruffians take revenge over Ket by torturing him but this time Kraison helps to release him. Kaem loves Ket but Ket sees her as a young sister only (ที่ใครที่มัน). Prai is framed by Pracha's mistress and has to kill one of the ruffians to be able to flee away. Viwe asks for additional bonus to Kraison to avoid killing him. It ends up in a fight. Ket, Plaew and Prai threatens Pracha to stop harassing them for a last time but Pracha is preparing his revenge. While a Buddhist ceremony (ผ้าป่า) happens in the village, Plaew is kidnapped. Ket follows Pracha's ruffians in order to release her. Gun fights happen. Pracha and his ruffians are killed. Viwe, always helping people for money, is also shot dead. The movie end is a bit weird as it is discovered that Kraison killed many years ago Ket's brother so he has to revenge his dead brother. Ket is arrested by the police following his bad acts. Plaew promises to wait for him. Thai movie นักเลงสามสลึง (1976) or “the three ruffians” features many famous Thai actors from 1970s decade. Krung Srivilai was then at his zenith. A James Bond soundtrack is used. It lasts 1h50mn. The VCD has one audio track with Thai and one audio track with Lao. This movie is a mix of romance, action and features many songs.

A huge quantity of Thai gold is stolen. An American agent recruits some Thai mercenaries to build a tough team of experts. The team is responsible to get the gold back in Thailand. The gold is currently in Communist Vietnam. The team is parachuted there. A young woman is waiting for them to guide them into the jungle. On their way they met two other women that are trying to free their father imprisonned in the jungle by Vietnamese soldiers. It seems that one of the three ladies is a spy. Many difficulties happen before being able to retrieve the gold and not all of them can go back alive to Thailand... The movie "Gold" was the first big success of Chalong Pukdeewichit. The film was a phenomenal success locally and made a profit internationally. It became the first Thai film to be widely sold to international markets. Later on "Gold 2" (Gold Raiders - 1983), "Gold 3" (The Lost Idol - 1990) and "Gold 4" (In Gold We Trust - 1992) were even released. Chalong Pukdeewichit put in place an effective marketing strategy, i.e. a large budget, sex, violence and involvement of a famous internationally known actor to attract buyers. In movie Gold, American actor Greg Morris from the Mission Impossible TV series played alongside with Thai stars Sombat Methanee, Krung Srivilai. Same recipe was applied later to "H-Bomb". The Mission Impossible soundrack is even used a few times during the movie.
