Thai movie แม่นาค 3D was released in year 2012. Veteran actor comic Doo Dook Kradon is playing relief character. During a temple fair (งานวัด), Mak is participating to a Thai boxing match. His opponent is Pleung, son of the subdistrict headman (พ่อกำนัน) (Rith Luecha). Pleung loses to Mak as Mak has the support of young lady Nak (Bongkoj Kongmalai). Mak and Nak wedding happens in the subdistrict headman's house making Pleung very upset (ให้นาคเป็นเมีย). Pleung uses a magician (หมอผี) to make a love philtre (น้ำมันพราย). The philtre touches Ploy instead of Nak. Ploy kills herself in Pleung's bedroom. Pleung wishes to use teacher (อาจารย์) Kong, who requires a foetus from a pregnant dead woman in order to create a child spirit (กุมารทอง). Unfortunately Nak, pregnant, dies while Mak is away. She is upset with Kong hurting her dead baby (นาคมา). Finally Phi Mak is back after being soldier (ไปรับราชการ) one year in Bangkok. He is not aware that Nak died already. Nobody dares to tell him the truth. He finds his house in bad shape. Finally Nak comes at nighttime but strangely her body is cold and has a strong smell. The famous scene when catching a lemon is impressive in 3D. Veteran actor Choomporn Theppitak is playing a monk. Kong promises to get rid of Nak but he finally dies. Nak takes revenge (ผีนาคอาละวาด) over those, who hurt her baby. Pleung’s life is spared but he becomes crazy. During her body cremation, Nak looks for Mak. Mak asks her to stop her killings and to accept her death. Mak plans to ordain permanently as a monk (บวชไม่ศึกตลอดชีวิต). Nak finally leaves for heaven (พบกันทุกชาติ). Mak wishes a good departure (อนุโมทนาสาธุ).

Thai movie ม้ง สงครามวีรบุรุษ (Hmong, blood for freedom) was released in year 2012. It is based on real facts in years 1962-1965. Mountain people (แมว / ชาวโมง) are harassed by ruffians (เจ้าหน้าที่). Their leader is Kamnan Saeng (Rith Luecha). Militaries (Sorapong Chatree,Nard Poowanai,Suchao Pongwilai) are worried by Communist influence. Thai soldiers attack a village believing there are communists inside (ใครเป็นชาวบ้านใครเป็นcommunist). For many soldiers, those mountain people have no value except for Sorapong. Bin Banleurit as soldier is shot by the mountain leader, who is also shot. Sorapong takes responsibility of the mountain leader's son. The mountain leader is only injured and joined the communist resistance (สหาย). His young daughter also joins him. Bin's helicopter is shot down. 15 years have passed. Keng (mountain leader’s son) and Aya (Bin’s daughter) are now adults. Ken asks Sorapong to perform his duty as Thai soldier in the mountains area. Sorapong is reluctant as he could face former former relatives. Which side would Keng choose (ทรยศแผ่นดินไทย)? Finally he lets him go. Aya and her students friends are captured while trying to find the remaining of her father's helicopter in the forest. While dispatched by helicopter on zone, Keng is captured. His real father remembers the pendant he gave him 15 years ago. Keng helps Aya to find the helicopter of his father and to perform proper Buddhist ceremony with the body remains. Keng's brother, who is a policeman, extracts him from the tribal village. Keng is back in Thai army. A government amnesty is given to all who joined the guerilla war. Hardcore communist members hesitate to surrender. Keng is looking for his father and sister. Other guerilla members don't trust Keng, who is a Thai soldier. Finally Thai soldiers attack the village. Keng's sister is killed and the father is injured. The guerilla is defeated. While raising the Thai flag, one Hmong tribe member shots Thai soldiers causing the Thai flag to fall. Keng prevents the Thai flag to hit the soil but gets deadly injured. He makes his father promises to stop fighting. This nationalist trend movie with many Thai stars from 1970s recalls movies from this era with stress on Monarchy and sacrifice to protect Thai Nation.

Rose’s father is played by Sombat Methanee. Mekin loved Ning in a previous life. Wat uses a sacred book with prayers to get rid of Maekin but Dom steals it. Aware that Wat has a sacred ring (แหวนศักสิท), Mekin and Dom have to get rid of him. The ring is stolen and Ning is kidnapped. Mekin succeeds to create zombies (ปลุกผี). Thai police intervenes but zombies are hard to stop. Through a daring final, Master Yong and Wat defeat Mekin.

He shoots Phet but only injures him but young lady Wan, part of Phet’s friends, is shot dead. Her brother, Pao, promises to take revenge. As Chat failed, Rith sends Sompop to kill Phet. Phet neutralizes Sompop and spares his life so Sompop owns one life to Phet. Panna's younger sister is kidnapped by ruffians. Pao kills Chat but gets shot by Rith. Panna succeeds in releasing his sister from the ruffians. Meanwhile Phet blocks the road with a bus to prevent Rith from fleeing. Rith shoots Phet first but Sompop shoots Rith as Sompop owns one life to Phet. Then as he has no more debt towards Phet, Sompop can finish his job…

Passakorn meets again Sombat, who introduces him to his company manager Kangwan. Dam tries to get rid of Passakorn by threatening his girlfriend (อย่าให้พลาด) but it fails thanks to Maurice. Dam tries to embuscade Passakorn in a mall but he fails again as Krung Srivilai (คนที่หวังดี) provides some help to Passakorn. Passakorn wishes his girlfriend to find another job as she is working in a pub to welcome guests. Pawinee names Passakorn’s girlfriend as Mae Nak! Ruffians try to kill Passakorn and chairman Sombat but they fail again. While in a pub, Rith and ruffians storm it to kill Passakorn. His girlfriend is shot dead by Rith. Upset, Passakorn chases Rith but he is stunned by Dam before able to get revenge on Rith. On a boat, Passakorn discovers that the ruffians' big boss is Kangwan! Tied, Passakorn is thrown in the water. Pawinee, being an outstanding diver, saves him again. Kangwan comes to Pattaya to do business for weapons (อาวุธร้าย M48) with foreigners. Chased by ruffians, Passakorn and Pawinee get help from Krung. Ken betrays Pawinee by failing to put a timing bomb on Kangwan's boat. Kangwan and Dam are doing business at the Cambodian border. Thai navy tries to stop them but they take hostages. Fighting happens causing Kangwan and Dam to be killed. Krung, showing his real face, wishes to take over the weapons. In a last move to show he wasn’t a bad guy, Ken sacrifices his life to neutralize Krung.

Thai movie โหดเนื้อหิน was released in year 1990 and lasts 1h29mn. Two groups of ruffians meet in order to exchange drugs and money. Suddenly a young lady called Duangdeuan (Duangdeuan Jithaisong) shots all of them with a M16 rifle. Sophit, restaurant waitress, hears that a group of four guys will deliver heroin soon so she informs subdistrict headman Cheut (Kanchit Kwanpracha). Duangdeuan helps a young girl being kidnapped by ruffians so Duangdeuan seems to be kindhearted. Police, including Duang (Chat Mongkolchai) as policeman, and subdistrict headman Cheut prepare a plan to catch the drug dealers. Thanks to information given by Sophit, ruffians are killed and drug is seized. Mafia leader (พ่อเลี้ยง) Boonseum (Rith Luecha), father of Rith Luecha, is very upset with subdistrict headman Cheut (มึงกับกุเห็นกันดีแน่ๆ). Duangdeuan (นายหญิง) promises to take care of subdistrict headman Cheut herself (หน้าที่ของลูก) and kills him in a sudden attack. The younger brother of Cheut, Chat (Sorapong Chatree), comes back and plans to revenge his elder brother. Ruffians try to get rid of him but they fail. Boonseum wishes to use hitman Khao Yai (Somsak Chaisongkram). Khao Yai and his men attack Chat and he is left for dead. Hopefully village leader Duang helps him and his daughter Phakamat cures his injuries. They prepare a plan (สักวันต้องรับกรรมแน่). Sophit helps to hide Chat but then gets killed by Khao Yai for being a traitress. Chat kills Khao Yai and his men by himself. Fed up that others always fail, Duangdeuan decides to take care of Chat by herself. Going to Duang's house, she only finds Phakamat, who is then hurt and kidnapped. Chat has to help her while Duang is getting help from the police. Chat is an undercover policeman. The policemen and Chat storm the ruffians’ house while they are selling weapons to the country traitors. Heavy shootings happen as Duangdeuan has got a machine gun. Almost everybody die. Both Chat and Duangdeuan blow up each other with grenades.

Thai movie Thong 4 (ทอง 4 - In Gold we trust) was released in year 1990. The beautiful DVD version done by MGM lasts 1h13mn. The original Thai version in 35mm format lasts 1h36m. A group of foreign ruffians attack a convoy to steal the gold. Bodybuilder actor Christoph Klüppel, present in Thong 3, is back in Thong 4. They cannot open the safe. Leader of Hmong hill tribe Pol (Somchai Samipak) has two daughters. The Hmong have an agreement with the ruffians to share the gold as they need money to fight against the Vietnamese soldiers. The ruffians kill Pol betraying their promise and believing he has the key to open the safe. One of his daughter is captured. Moss is sent by US government to get back the gold and the captive US soldiers (เชลย). In fact, those US soldiers are treacherous MIA US soldiers. A team is made with foreigners and Thai actors as usual (Toon Hiransap as Yot, Rith Luecha, Kowit Wattanakul, Sherrie Rose...). Captain (ผู้กอง) Moss (Jan-Michael Vincent) is their leader. They jump by parachute near the Thai border and shall meet Pon's Hmong fighters. Enemies (ศัตรู) are waiting for them but Sai Kam, daughter of Pol, and his men help them. Hill tribe Hmong (ชาวม้ง) are suffering. The ruffians' leader sends one of his men as a bait to the Hmong village. As Vietnamese soldiers are aware of the safe, the ruffians' leader Jeff (Sam J. Jones) decide to hide it in the cave. The cave is also used as a den by Japanese soldiers. So fightings do happen. Thai veteran actor Boo Wibunnan is part of Japanese soldiers. The Thai-US team falls in the trap and they are all captured by the ruffians. The safe is now with the Japanese soldiers. The two teams have no choice but to collaborate. Jeff, the ruffians leader, is ruthless. A plane piloted by Boo Wibunnan kamikazes itself on US helicopter. Heavy fightings happen as Japanese soldiers are numerous. Almost all ruffians and soldiers die in fighting. Christoph tries to double everybody but is finally killed by the Japanese leader. Jeff shots Pol’s daughter but is also killed by her. The gold is returned to the Hmong villagers. Moss decides to pass himself as dead to be able to stay with Sai Kam.

This Thai action movie was shot at a period where Hong Kong and foreign movies were very strong in Thailand. Many Thai actions had limited budget and were like type B movies. Mountain Lion is one of them. Decade 1990s was also the end of movie posters drawn by hand. Movie ชาติสิงห์ไอ้ฟ้าผ่า poster was one of the last ones to be hand painted. Shootings do occur in the forest. Sorapong Chatree is injured. Two young ladies including Yanee (Thida Thidarat) are chased by robbers (โจร). A few armed men, led by Phet, help Yanee. Phet and his men are looking for the cave Tantawan, which is said to contain jewelry. The robbers are also looking for the cave. Yanee brings her savers to the cave. They enter in the cave and find a hermit jade statue. Yanee brings them towards her village. They are attacked during nighttime. Two men are killed by arrows. Young lady Manoe meets Sorapong in the forest. She brings him to village Dok Mai Hom. On the way to the village, Phet and his men are attacked by ruffians led by Rith Luecha. Hopefully Sorapong helps them. Ruffians have to retreat. They arrive in the village Dok Mai Hom. Village leader’s right hand Bachi is unhappy to have strangers in the village. Romances occur between Sorapong and Yanee, between Phet (ชาตรี มณีวรรณ) and the village leader's daughter Takaew. Seeing Takaew and Phet together, Bachi tries to shoot him with a crossbow but he fails. Bachi pushes the village leader to give Takaew to him as wife. As village leader refuses, issues occur. Bachi quits the village to get additional help from Rith Luecha. Phet and his friends decide to stay in the village to help villagers against Bachi. Bachi knows Phet and his team have the jade statuette with them. Sorapong has to leave. Following an erotic dance, one of the men dies after visiting a villager lady at night time. He is killed by arrow. Bachi is suspected to be the shooter. The village leader asks Phet and his team to leave to avoid additional deaths. Bachi storms the village and follows Phet heading towards the forest. Phet and his team are all captured. Sorapong, feeling there is ongoing danger, goes back to the village and rescues Phet and his team. Rith and his team arrive also. Heavy shootings occur. Thai police also arrive. Ruffians are neutralized. The precious jade jewel, being a national heritage, is given to Thai police.

Thai movie โคตรอำมหิต was released in year 1989. It lasts 1h30mn. This Thai movie was only released under VHS format many years ago. It reminds of a Thai Rambo version. Phayu (Sorapong Chatree) and his men (ทหารรับจ้าง) are facing Vietnamese soldiers. They defeat them but have only three men left. Vietnamese army is led by Somsak Chaisongkram. Phayu is back to his village and helps a captain aggressed by ruffians. Those ruffians (กลุ่มนักเลง) attack his father's house claiming for a 20 years debt. Phayu is chased, gets injured and falls in the river. He is rescued by a villager and his daughter Surita (Duangdeuan Jithaisong). Villager Praka seems Phaya as a threat towards his love to Surita and is worried about enemy (ศัตรู) looking for Phayu. Somsak asks help from Rith Luecha and Chat Mongkolchai to find Phayu. Meanwhile three men wearing soldier’s clothes do a rampage in a village. One has same face as Phayu! Surita is worried if Phayu goes back to his village. Praka doesn't support Surita's interest in Phayu and tries to kill him by jealousy. Phayu’s parents and younger sister have all been killed by bandits (โจร). Revenge is mandatory for Phayu. The other man with similar face as Phayu is called Phayak and is in fact his elder brother. Praka brings the bandits to Surita's home. He dies while protecting Surita, who gets shot also. Phayak also dies. Phayu’s storms the ruffians’ camp. He places some hidden grenades on the way to his village as he knows ruffians will chase him. It ends in a bloody and deadly fighting.

Thai movie ฟ้าทลายโจร was released in year 1989 and lasts 1h32mn. It is available under VCD format released by Lepso company. It was renamed as ถล่มพระกาฬ by Lepso. As often with war movies from 1985 to 1995, it is very violent with a lot of blood to make it more realistic. Hanfan (Sorapong Chatree) and his men ambush a group of soldiers. By capturing a soldier, they can identify where the enemy camp is. Heavy fighting happens and many soldiers are killed on both side. Hanfan is the only survivor but he is also injured. He is rescued by villagers. Meanwhile ruffians led by Chat Mongkolchai storm the village. The men (โจรป้า) rape the girls and kill all inhabitants. Only two young ladies (including Duangdeuan Jithaisong) are left and are hiding in a cave inside the mountain with Hanfan. They help Hanfan but he wishes to go to the ruffians' camp in order to release some of his men (ทหารชุดดำ) held captive there. Somsak Chaisongkram is head of the camp and Pao Porapak is one of his soldiers. The doctor of the camp disagrees with Somsak's harsh methods. Hanfan kidnaps the doctor (ขายชาติ) to know where his men are held captive. Somsak, aware that Hanfan is still alive, sends his men to chase him. The soldiers find where the two young ladies are hiding and capture them. Meanwhile additional soldiers enter in the jungle but they fall in a trap. Only two survive and are captured. Somsak and his men torture the two ladies. Hanfan storms the place, releases them and kills Somsak. Hanfan releases the doctor but she is captured by Chat's team. Other ruffians led by Rith Luecha join them. The doctor is aggressed by two ruffians including Pao Porapak but Hanfan helps again on time. Rith tortures Hanfan’s soldiers. Disgusted, the doctor steals some documents for Hanfan. She is followed by Chat and other ruffians as they wish to track Hanfan. Fightings happen between Hanfan and the ruffians. They shot the doctor but Hanfan kills them all including Chat. Hanfan and two ladies storm the ruffians’ place to get rid of them. Severe fightings happen and the two ladies are killed. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Hanfan succeeds to get a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. All ruffians including Rith are killed.

Four men bloodily rob a bank and kill all guards and employees. They have long hairs. They are part of a mafia gang. Ayu (Sorapong Chatree), a former ranger, is arrested when buying medicine for his sick mother as he has also long hairs. He is accused without proofs and beaten by the Police to get his confession. He flees from the prison with another inmate Pao (Pao Porapak). They are chased by the police in the jungle. Two mafia groups also affront each other in the jungle. One group is lead by a young lady. She is injured but rescued by Ayu. Unfortunately Ayu arrives home too late. His mother is already dead. His teammate Pao is in fact a covered policeman who wants to trick the robbers. The mafia group kills Ayu's family members and catches him. The young lady is the daughter of the mafia group's boss that got killed recently. She spared Ayu's life. Ayu is rescued by the policeman Pao but he decides to take revenge over the mafia group. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Ayu carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. A butchery happens with heavy spurts of blood. All policemen are killed. Everybody dies including the mafia leaders and Ayu. Sorapong Chatree played in many serie B action movies in year 1989. In 1980s, action movies were still very popular and actors often carried machine guns in those films.

Itti (Sorapong Chatree) wishes to help her but his motives are unclear. Ithit doesn't like such persecutors (รังแก) so he decided to help Feung Fa. Tong dreams of marrying with Feung Fa. He has the funny role (ตัวตลก) of supporting the leading actor Sorapong Chatree. Ruffian Seua Hin tries to neutralize Feung Fa but Ithit helps again. Feung Fa believes police cannot help as her village is in a remote place so it is lawless. Villagers needs to help themselves against the dark bad influence (อิทธิพล). A second killer is neutralized (ผีเฝ้าบ้าน). Feung Fa is still chasing Seua Hin, the third ruffian. Kham, the ruffians’ leader, supports him. Kham (Rith Luecha) likes Buatong, sister of Buakaew (Chutima Kawinla). It creates tension between the two sisters. Feung Fa tries to catch the third ruffian by herself. Ithit is in fact a police chief. Ithit finds where Kham is hiding and goes to get more help from police rangers. Meanwhile Feung Fa and Tong are captured. Ithit and the police rangers succeed to free Feung Fa following an usual gun fight. Kham and his ruffians are killed. Thai movie ทอง ภาค 3 / The lost idol (1988) lasts 89 minutes. Chalong Pukdeewichit is same director as previous sequels. A company of American soldiers is lost in Cambodia in 1975. They face Vietcong attack. They find a Brahma statue made of pure gold. The company carries it and their leader Oliver decides to hide it until the war is over. He betrays his own soldiers by shooting them but one, called Kirt (Erik Estrada), succeeds to flee despite being injured. The leader Oliver believes they are all dead. Meanwhile Red Khmer soldiers led by Sorapong Chatree are still chasing the US soldiers. They shoot Oliver and take for granted that he is dead. Kirt derives on a tree trunk and young Thai lady Lamyai helps him. He recovers and decides to stay with Lamyai. Meanwhile Oliver receives a promotion, a US medal and decides to go back to Thailand. He meets Catherine, his girlfriend, who is a US doctor working at the Thai Cambodian border. Colonel (ผู้พัน) Oliver asks Don (Likit Eakmongkol) to build a team in order to get back the statue from Cambodia. Part of this team are Krung Srivilai and Rith Luecha present in previous opus but with different roles. Christopher (Christoph Klüppel) is also part of the team. He was selected by Chalong Pukdeewichit thanks to his impressive bodybuilding. 1M baht is promised for each. Half now and half when the job is completed. Another group is following Oliver also. They threaten Katherine to get information. To force Kirt to join his team, Oliver kidnaps his daughter. Kirt has to accept to lead them through the Thai Cambodian border as it is full of mines. Meanwhile Katherine is going to Cambodian side to help poor people per her previous promise to Sorapong. It reminds the real story of Phanom Rung lintel stolen during Vietnam war and given back to Thailand in year 1988. Sayan Chantaraviboon and Apiradee Pawaputanon are part of the Red Khmer army. Sorapong's men are all killed during an embuscade and Katherine is captured. The Vietnamese soldiers wish to know why Oliver is back. Despite being tortured, Oliver refuses to speak. Kirt tells the Vietnamese about the gold statue (เทวดารูปทองคำ). The Vietnamese leader (นพพล โกมารชุน) plans to bring it back to Vietnam. One Cambodian man warns Sorapong that this statue belongs to Cambodian heritage and that it should stay here. They attack the truck convoy and the mercenaries free themselves. Sorapong asks mercenaries to join his team if they want to spare their life. If they survive, they will get freedom. The Khmer soldiers and the mercenaries attack the Vietnamese camp. Heavy fightings happen as Vietnamese soldiers have tanks. The Vietnamese leader succeeds to flee with the golden statue through an helicopter. Oliver sneaks in also. The statue finally falls in the lake and the helicopter crashes in the mountain. Chalong Pukdeewichit uses same recipe as previous sequels, i.e. famous Thai actors to be able to attract Thai audience and quite famous foreign actors to attract overseas audience.

So it is difficult to understand the detailed story. The image has a poor VCD copy quality. Sorapong Chatree is carrying wood on his back in the mountains. Sorapong is a former soldier. Five men dressed as rangers / militants arrive in the mountain village and are talking to the village headman as they are looking for Sorapong. As they cannot get proper information about Sorapong, they harass his wife (ศิรินันท์ โรจนธรรม) and his son. Sorapong arrives and beats the 5 men away. Their leader is Chat Mongkolchai. Among Chat’s team, there are also Rith Luecha and Pipop Pupinyo. This time, Reut brings more men in the village and they hurt the village header to make him talk. Sorapong kills a few men to help the villager header. Sorapong and his family are then chased by ruffians in the mountains. They arrive in another village but are captured by some villagers led by Somsak Chaisongkram. Sorapong has to accept a one to one fighting with spade as shown on the movie poster. He defeats two opponents. Later on, Sorapong storms the ruffians place to get back a statuette requested by Somsak Chaisongkram. Ruffians storm the village but Somsak Chaisongkram helps Sorapong's wife to flee. Per the deal, they let Sorapong and his family go. Sorapong defeats four men wearing black clothes. His wife is injured. Somsak Chaisongkram tries to stop Rith and his men but gets killed. Fleeing again, Sorapong and his family are arrested by other villagers. Luckily the leader is an old friend of Sorapong. Rith and his men storm the village again. Sorapong has to flee one more time. The remaining sequence ends up here. This movie reminds The Mountain Lion (เสือภูเขา) movie released in 1979.

Dawee wishes that the villagers move to a new place but her father refuses. Chat and his men torture Pleung to get the code as he refuses to disclose it. At nighttime, a villager helps Pleung to flee. Chat's men chase Pleung but it is not easy as he is used to fight in the jungle. He kills many of them one by one. While fleeing, Pleung faces the forest bandits again and they chase him. Dawee is around at that time and a misunderstanding occurs as Pleung believes she is part of the forest bandits. They understand they have a common enemy (ศัตรูเดี๋ยวกัน). Chat and Rith Luecha, Somsak Chaisongkram meet in their main camp. Upset that Pleung succeed to flee thanks to Dawee, the forest bandits storm her village and kidnap her father. Aware, Pleung and Dawee prepare a plan. They put some explosive around the ruffians' camp and succeed to release the father and Somchai. Very heavy fightings and explosions occur. Pleung, as expected, is using a heavy machine gun. Most of protagonists die except Pleung and Davee.

Tongchai (Rith Luecha) is the leader of a ruffians team terrorizing the local district. Villager Tasuk is killed because he was on government side regarding illegal logging concessions instead of being on ruffians’ side. Tasuk and his family are killed except one of his daughter, Asunee. The subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Sit and the village headman (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) are also on the ruffians’ side. Sing is Tasuk’s son. He just gets released from prison and visits the Thai Buddhist temple abbot first before going back to his village. The abbot gives him a sacred Buddha amulet (Lamphun Daeng - ลำพูนแดง). But Sing needs to use it wisely. He goes back to his village but nobody dares to tell him the truth about his parents death (ไม่กล้า) as they are afraid of the ruffians. Before Sing had another sacred amulet (Lamphun Dam - ลำพูนดำ) but it was taken away when he was sentenced to jail. The ruffians decide to get rid of him but it fails as bullets cannot hurt him (ยืงไม่เข้า) thanks to the sacred amulet (ของดี). The ruffians visit the abbot to know if a sacred amulet has been given to Sing. Usanee is under the district officer’s (นายอำเภอ) protection. But proofs are missing to accuse the killers. The ruffians want to get rid of Asunee before she can meet her brother. They kidnap her. Police officer (ผู้กอง) and the district officer ask Sing to wait for more proofs but he decides to act first. He steps inside Sit's house and releases Asunee following a deadly fight with Sit. Asunee is shot and seriously injured. Sing now knows the truth about his parents' death. Police is now looking after Sing. They succeed to escape to the Police as the Buddha amulet makes them invisible. His sister dies as she lost too much blood. Sing wishes to seek revenge. Ruffians continue to terrorize the local population. Chiwin, daughter of district officer, and Sing love each other. He visits her for her birthday party and fails to shoot Tongchai. Sing takes revenge over the village headman. Tongchai starts to be worried for his own security. The ruffians capture Chiwin. While trying to release Chiwin, Sing is captured by Sing's ruffians. The police believes Tongchai is involved so enters his camp. Sing, thanks to the sacred amulet, takes profit to flee. Sing steps inside Tongchai's home, releases Chiwin and kills Tongchai. As promised to Chiwin, Sing surrenders to the police. Movie Lamphun Daeng - ลำพูนแดง was shot in 1988. Previous sequel Lamphun Dam - ลำพูนดำ was shot in 1983. This movie features sacred amulets. Most Thai people believe that wearing around the neck a Buddha holy amulet protects them from anything.

Captain (ผู้กอง) Phayu (Sorapong Chatree) meets Chiaw (Lak Apichat), a military instructor (ครูฝึก), and Priaw (Chaiyan Sorakrai), who is a pickpocket. Village leader Cheui refuses to sell his house to ruffians. Chiaw is his son but he didn't go back home for years. Palat (Kanchit Kwanpracha), subdistrict headman Chat Mongkolchai, Ai Saen (Rith Luecha), head of local ruffians, are working together. Chiaw, Priaw, Pen and the subdistrict headman's stepdaughter forms a team together. Phayu asks Police head to give them time as he trusts Chiaw. Chiaw decides to get information from the subdistrict headman's girlfriend. This one starts to be very friendly with him (part censored or cut from VCD). The subdistrict headman Chat comes back and Chiaw is captured. He succeeds to flee by kidnapping Palat's daughter. Ai Saen is upset (อย่าประมาท). As Ai Saen orders to shoot the car despite there is Palat's daughter inside, it causes Ai Saen and Palat to become enemies. Chiaw hits Palat to revenge his father but Phayu and the daughter convince him to let Police do its duty. Palat tells them that Ai Saen a is preparing to betray his country. The team storms the ruffians’ den. Pen is used as hostage (ตัวประกัน). The movie ends up with fierce fightings. Palat and Priaw die. Ai Saen is killed. The two actresses are วาสนา วรรณวงศ์ and มาริษา อุดมพร.

It was actor Tin Settachoke’s (ตฤณ เศรษฐโชค) first movie. Policeman Borapon (Sorapong Chatree) shoots a young ruffian being part of a biker gang. The young ruffian hit policemen trying to stop him. Borapon claims it was self-defense, but youngsters accuse Borapon of abuse of power. Those kids are coming from rich families so Borapon loses at court. He is separated from his wife Rutika (จริยา สรณคม - Jariya Anfone). At nighttime Borapon follows his former wife working as DJ in her nightclub. Songklam (Rith Luecha) and Chakrit (Chatchai Plengpanich) are acting as bodyguards of Nat (Marsha) in the nightclub. Borapon's wife is having a new boyfriend going to invest in her club. When knowing that the singer, Chetanan, is son of former associate Wat, Orachun orders to kill him. The killing fails. Aware of this, Somchai orders his nephew Chetanan to come to Phuket. In Phuket, youngsters meet Borapon and promise to get revenge. Orachun stole money from Wat before when Wat and Orachun were business partners (ลงทุนด้วยกัน). Wat was killed by Orachun’s ruffians. Chetanan kidnaps Nat while she is doing windsurf and holds her captured on a remote island in Krabi (ใช้กรรม). It is his plan to revenge against Orachun. Head of police in Phuket is Sayan Chantaraviboon, playing a cameo role. People believe Nat has drown. Rutika arrives in Phuket to ask for money to Orachun. Bullet analysis shows that Borapon is not guilty. Nat makes her captors drink. A fisherman, named Tim, helps her to flee but he has bad ideas in mind. Chetanan helps Nat on time but he gets severely beaten by Tim before. Romance starts between Chetanan and Nat. Tim warns Orachun that the youngsters are staying on a raft on Phi Phi island. While Chetanan is away, Orachun and his men storm the raft and release Nat. One of Chetanan’s friends (เอ็ม สุรศักดิ์ วงษ์ไทย) is killed. Rutika comes again to get support from Orachun regarding her debts but she is chased away. Orachun is just looking to take over her business and has no intention to help her. Being ruined, she realized that only Borapon was always nice with her. While having diner, Songklam shoots Rutika. It is part of Orachun’s plan to take over the discotheque. Both Borapon and Chetanan are looking for revenge and storm Orachun’s home. Heavy shootings occur. Songklam is shot by Borapon. Chakrit and Chetanan shoot each other. Borapon prevents Orachun to shoot Chetanan by injuring him first. Orachun is arrested and admits he was wrong.

Thai บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h18mn. It is an estimation only as the movie seems to have been released in level 2 standalone theaters (โรงชั้นสอง) only. It is a low budget movie. The soundtrack belongs to other movies such as “Shaft”. There are quite a few nice sequences with Sorapong Chatree but the overall film editing is average. It is in fact a movie made with other movies sequences from Sorapong Chatree so that is why the editing is so poor! The numerous love sequences seem here only to ensure the movie can last 1h18. A new police officer (ผู้กอง) Kamtenthong (Sorapong Chatree) arrives in North of Thailand. A ring leader called Dam has dirty businesses such as helping people to cross Thai border illegally, drugs traffic, smuggling of weapons. Many fights and shootings happen between wealthy men (พ่อเลี้ยง) teams. Dam (Rith Luecha) benefits of it until police starts to involve into his business also to stop the numerous killings. Finally police rushes into Dam's ranch and neutralize the ruffians and hitmen. But the leaders are not here. Dam's secretary, Pen, is the one informing the police. It causes the ruffians’ leaders to believe the other team betrays them as police is always there when weapons trading is happening. Dam is finally also neutralized through a final shooting. Pen was an uncovered policeman. It is a typical Thai action movie from 1980s mixing some Hong Kong style action sequences such as flying jump. Year 1987 was very prolific with action movies as Panna Rittikrai started to release his own action movies also. Movie บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ features a few actors from 1970s action movies such as Phairoj Jaising but they look quite tired except Sorapong Chatree.

Actresses and actors include Sorapong Chatree, Lak Apichat, Thida Thidarat, สินาภรณ์ พิไลลักษณ์ (Sinaporn Philailak - sexy star), สุนารี, วีรยุทธ รสโอชา, Pao Porapak, Rith Luecha. Plik (Sorapong Chatree) is a Thai soldier protecting his country. He is fighting at Thai border. All his colleagues are dead. Plik is seen holding a machine gun and shooting enemies. Meanwhile Sak (Lak Apichat) is visiting his family. Sak offers money to the family against land titles but the father refuses. Plik’s sister, Pim, is married to a motorbike taxi driver called Taen. Later on, ruffians kill Plik's whole family. Plik is back to his village and finds his family dead. Taen suspects Sak or Jom to be behind the murders. In a sawmill, shootings happen between Sak, Jom and Plik. Jom and his men retreat. As Plik believes Sak is responsible of his parents' death, they both fight. Plik finally understands that Sak is not guilty. Pao Porapak and Rith Luecha are parts of the ruffians led by a lady (นายหญิง). Plik finally catches the ruffians, who shot his family, and shoots Jom. Plik meets a wandering monk and follows him. Out of strength, Plik collapses and wakes up in the monk's cave. He needs to pacify his heart. While being in a brothel, ruffians have fighting with Sak. Plik still has horrible visions about war. The ruffians send a beautiful lady, Sinaporn Philailak, to seduce Plik but it fails. Outside of the room, Pao is waiting and Plik is captured by the ruffians. At nighttime Plik becomes a werewolf as he uses wrong Buddhist incantations but still defeats his captors. The lady leader abuses the confidence of Bonnie (รติรส รินนภา) but the werewolf stops her. The werewolf abuses the lady leader as revenge. Meeting Sak, the werewolf follows him and by paying respect to a Buddha statue, the werewolf becomes Plik again. Rith refuses to believe the stories about a werewolf but finally following the proofs, he gathers a big team to fight back. Finally Plik’s team acts first. The movie ends up in shootings and two final fights between Sak and Pao, between Plik and Rith. Ruffians are defeated.

A few people are killed by a hitman (มือปืน) and acolytes in a pool club. Tong is witness of the murder. He shots one killer. Pen's business is also threatened by local mafia. Chiang Mai area is dominated by two local mafia heads. A lady called Gnam seduces Tong to know the truth regarding his visit to Chiang Mai but to no avail. Gnam is linked to mafia. The two mafia rings fight each other. During a shooting at the Chiang Mai airport by another hitman, a young man called Suchai helps to protect Saichai, daughter of Somchai (Rith Luecha), mafia leader. Suchai gains the trust of Somchai. The two mafia leaders decide to unify their efforts instead of fighting. Gnam is killed during a fight between Tong and a ruffian. Finally Suchai gets information that both mafia team will gather in Don Pui area to sell drug. Gun fights happen between mafia and the police helped by Tong, Den and Suchai. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Tong carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. The movie features fightings shot with a Hong Kong action movie style. As often during such Thai action movies, it is revealed that the main characters were undercover policemen. Many Thai action movies in 1980s decade include influence from Hong Kong movies and American movie Rambo II fighting style.

Thai movie ร้อยป่า was released in year 1986 and directed by veteran Chalong Pukdeewichit. Luang Ta is taking care of an orphaned boy called Seua (ลูกศิษย์วัด). Seua (Bin Banleurit) sympathizes with young girl Paew but gets an enemy as Anirut (ลูกผู้ดี). Years passed. They are now adults. Luang Ta dies. Seua goes to Lampang to do forest staff studies. He meets Srinuan. In Srinuan's disco, he protects Somchai (Somchai Samipak) as พ่อเลี้ยง against a murder tentative. During studies, he finds that teck forest has few trees left (ตรวจป่า). He meets Boon Ying and presents himself as new forest staff (พนักงานป่าใหม่). He tries to prevent ruffians led by Theum (Taksin Jampol) to cut illegally trees (ทำรายป่าไม่ได้). Seua gets his degree and is sent at Thai Burmese border. He realises that Paew was the one to support him financially during his studies. พ่อเลี้ยง Ithi (Manop Aussawathep), owner of a company allowed to cut 2000 trees, tries to corrupt Seua (เก็บเงินของคุณเลย) to cut more trees. Ruffians are sent to kill Seua but Theum and Leum being around help him. แม่เลี้ยง Saenthong (Mai Charoeunpura) wishes to get authorisation for her trees. Seua has issues with Nok (Rith Luecha), leader of elephant keepers. Seua checks the trees deeply in the forest and gives approval (ราชการดีๆยังมีอยู่ครับ). Back to the village, they found that Nok has taken all elephants. Hopefully Theum lends them some elephants to ensure the company is not stuck. Seua rejects Saenthong's love as he still thinks about Paew. Ithi is the one trying to close Saenthong's company as he is joining shares (ร่วมหุ้น) with a Bangkok company led by Anirut, engaged with Paew. Leum is captured and killed by ruffians with a chainsaw. Saenthong is also kidnapped. Seua revenges Leum through a chainsaw fighting with Nok. It is time for Seua to neutralise Ithi. Hopefully พ่อเลี้ยง Somchai and Theum give a hand to Seua as he is in a bad situation versus many ruffians. All ruffians are killed. Police arrives. Theum prefers to die gun in the hand instead of surrendering. Suea leaves as a lonely cowboy saddened by the death of Theum. An earlier version with Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat was released in year 1963.

This movie related to a vampire is another B grade Thai horror movie. Dead bodies are found in a village. Doctor Solot is ordering his caretaker to find bodies part. Nobody in the village can meet or see doctor Solot. Doctor Solot has one exorbitant eye and needs to finish a mysterious job. He wishes to make a perfect creature with dead elements. Meanwhile a few Bangkokian friends (Eung, Dong, Vichak) arrive in the village. The Frankenstein creature created by doctor Solot is defeated. At the same time a vampire spirit (วิญญาณ) is released unfortunately by a villager lady called Tengnam. The spirit was prisoner of the bottle previously by the local sorcerer (หมอผี). The vampire, called Maekin (เมฆินทร์), takes possession of doctor Solot's body. He is looking for beautiful ladies blood. He likes a young lady called Eungkam. A nun (Nang Suchatada) arrives in the village. The vampire wishes to get nun Suchatada as his wife. The nun, the Bangkokian friends and Eungkam unify their efforts to fight against the vampire. The local sorcerer contacts an hermit (ฤาษี) to know how to get rid of the vampire. Three weapons are needed to kill the vampire, i.e. jasmine flower (ดอกมะลิ), a magic sword and blood from virgin. Tengnam is also under the vampire spell. She gives poisoned fruits to the local sorcerer who dies. Anyway the nun succeeds to get all ingredients to fight the vampire. The vampire is defeated by the nun but many villagers and Vichak die. This B grade movie has a little budget, simple Fx effects and features many deaths. It is a remake of the movie shot in 1973 with Sombat Methanee.

Thai movie นักเลงสิบล้อ was released in year 1985 and it lasts 1h37mn. Wut (Sorapong Chatree)(ลูกพี), son of owner of a truck company (รถสิบล้อ), comes urgently from Thailand following request from Lak (Lak Apichat) as his father just died (งานศพ). Sarawat (Nard Poowanai) tries to arrest him as he is over speeding to be on time to the funeral. A bomb explodes during the funeral. His mother (เจ้าภาพ) dies also. Revenge shall happen as his parents' death is a murder. The one, who carried the bomb, is identified as a lady, called Pim (พิมพ์ใจ พรหมมาลี), working in a karaoke. Sia Song (Somkuan Krajangsat), her boyfriend, is aware they spend the night together. Decha (Rith Luecha) is his right hand. Young lady Suntalee (Apiradee Pawaputanon) is leading a mining site and also selling durians (ทุเรียนแม่ค้า). Through a daring tentative, Wut and his team empty Decha's truck causing Sia to lose a lot of money. Umarin is selling trucks. Sia Song is also the shop owner. Wut enquiries on Sia through Song. Sarawat has arguments with tough men but refuses corruption money. As he is always accused to be too strict, he removes his policeman insignia to teach a lesson to the tough drivers. Sia Song orders to shoot Wut but he is only injured him. He gets closer to Suntalee and tells her that he is an undercover policeman. Four men, part of Suntalee's team, plan to betray her in order to steal precious stones (พลอย). Challenged and overwhelmed by the ruffians (คุณจะไม่มีโอกาสเห็นขาอ่อนฉัน), she gets help from Choomporn Theppitak. The traitors join Sia Song’s team. Sarawat and Wut try to prevent ruffians doing dirty business at the border. Weapons are hidden in rice bags. They chase Decha driving a big truck carrying teak trees. Drug is hidden in teak trees. Wut and the trucks encircle Sia Song forcing him to surrender. Many great famous Thai actors are present in this movie but the directing is a bit weak. Luk Thung (ลูกทุ่ง) countryside music about trucks is featured in this movie. Trucks (สิบล้อ) in Thailand are ornamented with many drawings and colors.

Thai movie ลูกหนี้ทีเด็ด was released in year 1984 and lasts 1h36mn. The movie was released under DVD format by company Happy Home Entertainment. The movie features many songs. A music orchestra (วงดนตรี) has difficulty to make a living. Part of the members include Note Cheunyim, Rop (ปัญญา นิรันดร์กุล), Doo Dook Kradon, Tranee (Der Doksadao). Their producer is Rith Luecha but they have no success. Rith Luecha is married to Bun Reuang (Piathip Kumwong). They have never time to take care about their daughter Ro Rak (จิตต์โสภิณ ลิมปิสวัสดิ์). พี่ Niaw as new producer tries to find new ideas. The group doesn't have expected success (หมดตัว) as concert halls remain almost empty. Last chance is to release a tape but Phi Niaw (Lor Tok) has to sell his house (ขายไม่ออก). His secretary Suphanee is also his wife. His friends ask Rop to marry Ro Rak as she is coming from rich family. He needs to seduce her first but he is not expert at all (กำลังโบ้เบ้ / อย่าลีลา). Rith is having affairs while his wife Bun Reuang is always out on charity events with a high society woman (คุณหญิง). Phi Niaw lost his car, his house and about to lose his wife as the other orchestra members suggest to use Suphanee to seduce Rith. The music orchestra is looking for a new style (เพลงสตริง) to be popular. Bun Reuang chases all of them away after seeing Rop trying to seduce her daughter and after knowing that Rith has given money without asking for reimbursement as Tranee always introduces beautiful ladies to him to ease loan requests... They leave for upcountry. Ro Rak hides in their van. Police is called by Bun Reuang. Rop is almost arrested for kidnapping a teen but finally released as the problems are coming from the fact that the parents are not talking each other. Bun Reuang needs to organize a concert for orphan children (เด็กกำพร้า) so she needs a music orchestra. Only Tranee's orchestra is available...so she has to remove her complaint regarding unpaid debts. The concert is a huge success. She saves face. Rop and Ro Rak renew their friendship.

First movie episode สิงห์รถบรรทุก was shot in 1977. Siarat (Sorapong Chatree) is the owner of a truck company and is recently married. Phayap is the head of local mafia. His team is responsible of killing the owner of a truck company but they manage to accuse Siarat. Malin (Suriwan Suriyong), daughter of the assassinated truck owner, wishes to take revenge over Siarat but her mother (Pissamai Wilaisak) tries to prevent her as there is no proof yet. Malin believes wrongly Phayap's sayings. Two hitmen shot and kill Sairat's wife, Saisanee. Siarat wishes to take revenge over this murder. Meanwhile Siarat's former friends from the first movie episode, Chan, Kaewkarawet and Rawan, come back. Phayap tries to buy land from poor farmers but Chan (Manop Aussawathep) helps to chase the ruffians. Siarat doesn't know yet who killed his wife, Phayap group or Malin group. Phayap calls for other ruffians' help from Sisaket. Malin has great fighting skills. Suriwan Suriyong was often used as leading actress for action movies. She shows to Siarat that women can do same as men. Malin and Siarat are now friends as Phayap is identified as the treacherous man. Phayap sells weapons illegally to drug dealers. Phayap kills Siarat's friend Master (อาจารย์) himself. Siarat and Malin bring dozen of trucks to attack Phayap's team but the fields are mined. Gunfire happen between both groups until Phayap is neutralized through bloody sequences. It is a typical action movie from 1980s based on revenge script, kung fu fights, gunfire fights and issues resolved without the direct intervention from the police (it is only known at the movie end that Sairat's friends were under cover policemen), katoei (กะเทย) used as supporting comic roles. The movie image is very damaged for a 1980s movie. This hommage to trucks world was certainly very successful in countryside where movies were projected from the backs of trucks on to sheets hung between trees at fairgrounds.

Noun (Tuanton Kammeesri) is a journalist refusing corruption and doing inquiries on Nard. Mai (Supansa Nuengpirom) is a young lady, whose mother was also killed by Nard due to business conflict. Kowit Wattanakul is close friend of Wan and introduces him to Mai. Mafia leader Nard Poowanai is trying to become member of parliament and is supported by Wiyada Umarin, his girlfriend. Wan starts to get revenge. Nard's right hand is first killed by Wan. Nard suspects Mai. Then Wan shots Kamlee (Paen Pleumsachai) and warns Nard that soon it will be his turn. Wan is introduced to the ruffians as new shareholder with Mai. It is a trick to be close to the ruffians and the next one to be killed is Pumi Patanayut. Noun is investigating on those killings. Wan and Kowit are identified to be behind the murders. Kowit is shot by ruffians while visiting uncle Sai (Pipop Pupinyo). Wan has no choice but to continue in order to get rid of mafia leader Nard. Nard hires a hitman to get rid of Wan but it fails. Chat Mongkolchai kidnaps โสธรณ์ in order to find where Wan is hiding. As Mai is passing, she is kidnapped and โสธรณ์ is killed. Chat (หน้าตัวเมีย) wants to force Mai to sign documents. Wan successfully releases Mai and chases after Nard until he kills him. Wan is finally pardoned by Thai police thanks to Mai’s plea.

Seua Noi is upset and promises revenge as he believes Luang Pho Seua and Bin are undercover policemen. Ruffians try to burn Luang Pho Seua but Bin intervenes. Luang Pho escapes to the flames but he is chased by ruffians. Hopefully, hill tribes, led by Kom (Kom Akadej), chase them away. Bin is injured and cured by beautiful doctor Khru Mo (ครูหมอ) (ชลิดา เสาวดี). The village head is worried about revenge by Seua Khaem. Bin meets again the three men chasing him and has to flee. While fleeing, he meets Luang Pho Seua again. Hilltribe lady Baan Su Thong (Thitima Sangkapitak) is fond of Bin. They spend the night together, but Bin flees in the morning, so Baan Su Thong is looking for him. Ut (Dam Datsakorn) enters in the hilltribe village. A fight occurs between Bin and Ut. Ut is defeated. Kom saves the honor of his younger sister Baan Su Thong. Ut requests help for another ruffians’ leader (Rith Luecha). Ruffians storm the village. Many ruffians and villagers die in the fighting. Baan Su Thong is killed. Seua Noi is seriously injured by Bin. Khru Mo is kidnapped by Ut to cure Seua Noi. Finally, Seua Noi leaves as he feels better but as he gets sick again. Seua Noi gets help from Luang Pho Suea and is cured. He realizes that Luang Pho Suea is a real monk and a good man. Seua Noi's father is Seua Khaem. Luang Pho Seua is a former policeman. While trying to catch Seua Khaem many years ago, Luang Pho Seua shot his wife, being Seua Noi's mother, by mistake. So, the policeman became a monk. Hill tribe members and Bin surround the ruffians’ camp. Seua Kaem (Manop Aussawathep) wishes to take revenge and to shoot the monk but Seua Noi intervenes and is shot instead. Devastated, Seua Kaem gives up on his revenge. Luang Pho has been carrying the wife's bones with him and has been wandering around Thailand in order to meet Seua Khaem.

Movie director is ประยูร วงศ์ชื่น. This popular movie started a trend of Thai military comedy movies. It features a mix of action and comedy. Chatree, a singer, is having his last concert as tomorrow he needs to do military service for two years. Various other characters must join also such as Noo Daeng (Der Doksadao), Note Chernyim, Pan (วรายุฑ มิลินทจินดา playing กะเทย role), Lor Tok as a policeman also sent to military service as he escaped it during many years. Chatree (ปัญญา นิรันดร์กุล) is enamored with a nurse, named Chatlalai (ชลิดา เสาวดี), but she has a doctor boyfriend already. To calm Chatree down, the doctor gives him a big injection shot. Training with weapons, rifle, grenades occur (ทหารใหม่). As Chatree keeps trying to seduce Chatlalai, the doctor gives him a heavy laxative. The nurse’s father is playing by Sawin Sawangrat. Lor Tok warns Chatree that Sawin is off to the border for a few days. Chatree befriends with an uncle and he doesn't know that the uncle is Chatlalai’s father and military camp big boss! Chatlalai discovers that the doctor is already married so she is very disappointed and ends up at hospital. Chatree keeps visiting her and comforts her. Comic sequence when Note is visiting Pan to tease him but Rith is hiding under the blanket. Thai soldiers also protect citizen as they have issues with ruffians harassing a lady so fighting occurs. Lor Tok proposes that Chatree sings at the Thai Army day (วันกองทัพไทย) to apologize to Sawin. During the Thai Army day, parade and orchestra with Chatree singing are featured. Thai soldiers need to go to Burmese border. Tanks and troop transport vehicles are sent. This movie probably acted as a showroom for Thai army to show its capabilities in 1984. Rith dies during fighting. Having walked on a mine, he wanted his men to avoid being injured. Chatree is back from war, having arm and leg. He claims to be disabled (พิการ) to ensure Chatlalai has pity on this but he is lying. The movie ends up with Chatlalai chasing Chatree to kick him.

Kata (Krung Srivilai) / Leuachai (Rith Luecha) and Manop Aussawathep always have music orchestra (วงดนตรี) competition (สงครามเพลง). Manop's group thinks it has won by using Settha Sirachaya as singer but the group led by Kata uses singer Pumpuang Duangchan. It degenerates and brawl fighting happens between the two groups. Everybody ends up in jail. Police inspector (Somchai Samipak) summon the two orchestra leaders by telling them that music orchestra (วงการเพลง) is an art (วงการศิลาปิน) and should not end up in fighting. Apika (Naowarat Yooktanun) pays the bailing fee (ค่าปรับ). Kata wishes to have the most famous orchestra with Pumpuang as superstar. Manop’s group needs to find a new singer able to compete with Pumpuang. They decide to hire heartthrob singer Yotrak salakchai. Many Luk Thung (ลูกทุ่ง) songs are featured in this movie. Sayan Chantaraviboon is featured as the owner of a recording studio. Kampi is younger brother of Kata. Kampi loves secretly a lady called Tosaen (Thitima Sangkapitak). Kampi writes love songs towards Tosaen and those songs are used by Manop’s orchestra. Apika, daughter of Manop, discovers that songs are written by Kampi and refuses to buy them anymore believing it is a trick of Kata again. Tosaen becomes lover with Kata. A romance starts between Yotrak and Pumpuang, between Apika and Kampi. It causes concerns to both Kata and Manop (น้องชายของศัตรู). Pumpuang flees so Yotrak leaves the orchestra to find her. Pumpuang is indebted to Kata but she chooses freedom and love towards being a singer. Kata and Manop decide to launch strong fighting (สงครามเพลง / สงครามเลือด) against each other. Amid a battle between the two groups, Pumpuang convinces them for a truce. Tosaen tries to get back Kampi. Leuachai is not ready for truce. Apika quits Kampi as Tosaen left on purpose a bra in his car. During a concert, Leuachai tries to shoot Kata and Manop but finally gets punched by Kampi and then slot by Police. It is the end of violence in music orchestra contest. Tosaen tells the truth to Apika so she can be reunited with Kampi.

Fighting is happening in a village. All villagers are killed by mercenaries led by Rith (Rith Luecha). Fighters, riding horses and wearing black clothes, led by Maneerak (Jarunee Sooksawad) are chasing them away. Maneerak has a mixed of Ninja and cowboy skills. Two groups are fighting for this area control as it contains precious gems. One group includes Maekin (Krung Srivilai), Kecha (Kecha Plianvithee), Maneewong (Nipaporn Nongnuch) and Maneerak. The opposite group includes Rith, Lak (Lak Apichat) and Runfa (Linda Khatancharoen). Maneerak, Maneewong and Runfa are three sisters. Their father died before. Rith's ruffians are looking over workers digging for gems. Yutta (Sorapong Chatree) finds a big black emerald (มรกตดำ) and flees away but is chased by the guards. The black stone (ก้อนหิน) is a sacred item. It helps to get rid of the guards and a blind monk appears to Yutta to encourage him to take good care of the stone. A mysterious man called Chaiya (Chaiya Suriyun) keeps surveying the two groups. Yutta is involved despite him in the fightings between the two groups as he helped Maneewong and then sold some gems. Yutta loves Runfa but she cannot be trusted as she steals the black stone while he is sleeping. This time, Yutta helps Maneerak, younger sister of Maneewong. The black stone belongs to Tibet and Runfa tries to sell it. Maneerak is able to get the black stone as Rufa's domestic helper stole it. Maneewong wishes to get the full heritage of her father. Maneerak visits her mum (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng) in a Buddhist retreat on a hill. Yutta follows her but Maneewong and her lover Maekin are just behind. Duel happens between Yutta and Maekin. Everybody is now looking for the black stone. Maekin kills Rith during the fighting between the two groups. Yutta gets rid of Lak. Finally both Yutta and Maekin are discovered to be undercover police officers (ผู้กอง). Chaiya(Chaiya Suriyun) is an undercover military officer. Chaiya and the mother make everybody realize greed. Understanding is back in the family and Yutta will bring back the black stone to Tibet with Maneerak. This 1h37mn movie is part of Thai Tom Yam western style. The Thai movie poster mentioned that nine Thai stars, having received Thai cinema awards before, are featured in this movie.

Thai movie แก้วขนเหล็ก / The Dracula was released in year 1983 and lasts 1h22mn. It features some background music by Jean-Michel Jarre and also from James Bond movies. Movie director is สุริยน ดวงทองดี. Wat (Toon Hiransap), Dom (Somphob Benjatikul) and Nin (Apiradee Pawaputanon) are discussing. Dom just gets a heritage (มรดก). It is an old haunted abandoned house. He decides to stay there and so starts restoring it (ตกแต่งห้อง). Rose (Mayura Thanabutr), his fiancee (คู่หมั้น), finds that he changed a lot. An old uncle tells the story of the house. Sir Maekin (ท่าน เมฆินทร์) (Rith Luecha), previous prince (ลูกเจ้าพระยา), wished to marry a young lady (played by Apiradee) but the father refused as the lady was already promised to somebody else. So Maekin kidnapped the lady. His father (Somchai Samipak) imprisoned him for a few days until the wedding was over but Maekin disappeared. Legend said that he become a ghost. Toon helps an old uncle aggressed by two ruffians. He gives him a ring supposed to push back ghosts. One night, Dom is possessed by vampire Maekin. Rose's birthday will happen soon. Dom places a transparent coffin in the house's underground (ห้องใต้ดิน). Dom becomes normal while holding a Buddha amulet, which burns his hand. Maekin possesses him again. Wat uses Tibetan prayers to neutralize the vampire (ผีดิบ). The vampire possesses Wat's young brother (ปรัชญา) in order to shoot Wat. Under Maekin’s influence, Dom kidnaps Nin. Wat has no choice but to affront the vampire and use the special ring… A first version was released in year 1971 with Petchara Chaowarat and a later one in year 2003.

A first version of movie อีสาวบ้านไร่ with Sombat Methanee and Aranya Namwong was released in year 1970. The 1970 version features songs but the 1983 is a pure action movie with no songs.

Thai movie แผ่นดินเหล็ก was released in year 1983. It was also released under another name เสียงเพลงนักเลงโหด and using another movie poster. This movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 46mn is left to be seen. Kamnan is starting to prepare his birthday when ruffians come to ask for his land. Hopefully his son (Sorapong Chatree) chases them away. His friend Daeng, injured, is cured by Doctor Oon (Thitima Sangkapitak). Sorapong meets the daughter of a petrol station owner (Nanthida Kaewbuasai). Maen (Lak Apichat) makes Daeng enter as luk thung singer in Rith's nightclub. Decha (Manop Aussawathep) wishes to hire the new singer. Arguments happen between ruffians. A few luk thung songs are featured in the nightclub. Decha is looking for a hitman (มือปืน) to get rid of his enemies (ศัตรู). Sorapong being around accepts the job. Nanthida has issues with ruffians asking cover fee (ค่าคุ้มครอง) as she is going to visit her land. Hopefully Maen and his friends help her. During one evening, Sorapong shoots Rith in his nightclub but misses him. The two remaining movie reels end up here. This movie was not famous and is a kind of action / song movie (หนังเพลง).

Mek (Somjin Thammatat) also tries to steal the family land. The monk gives to Paen an unique Buddhist amulet called ลำพูนดำ to protect him. Paen is arrested by four policemen led by Paen Pleumsachai. They bring him to a remote area to execute him per Mek’s orders but bullets don't enter (นั่งเนี่ยว) as he is protected by the sacred amulet given by the monk. Paen shoots them back. Policeman Nard Poowanai, as หมวด, is also trying to catch him. Kingpin Mek and subdistrict headman Chat (Krai Kanchit) (ลูกน้องมือขวา) are concerned that Paen succeeded to escape. Paen has many enemies (ศัตรูเยอะ). Two ladies Lom (Piathip Kumwong) and Phit (Thitima Sangkapitak), Paen’s mother and sister, are visiting the village leader. Both are the village leader's mistresses and Lom is also seduced by Chat (เป็นชู). Thai police is still looking after Paen. Paen takes refuge in a village but the village leader (Pumi Patanayut) warns the police. Paen succeeds to flee by having an hostage called Lamai (Mayura Thanabutr). Paen learns who are his enemies through Somsak Chaisongkram. Paen kills three ruffians (มือปืน). Ruffians kidnap young lady Lamai but Paen releases her and injures the village leader trying to abuse her. Young lady Booklee is kidnapped to become Mek’s new minor wife. Khun Mom Sasingha (Kowit Wattanakul) meets Chaba (Ampha Pusit), niece (หลานสาว) of Kamnan Chat. He presents himself as a customer of the underground casino (บ่อน). Pipop Pupinyo is looking for troubles with Sasingha but gets beaten. Chat is then jealous that Sasingha is too close to Chaba. Seua Rit (Suchao Pongwilai) is hired by the village leader to get rid of Paen. Mek’s daughter, Pumarin (Apiradee Pawaputanon), is coming back from overseas following successful studies. Her real father is Rit but he doesn’t want her daughter to know that her father is a thief so the truth was never disclosed to Pumarin. Paen behaves as a Robin Wood (โจร) by giving free goods to poor villagers. A pact is agreed between Paen, Khun Mom Sasingha and Klot (Rith Luecha). Klot wishes to get revenge on Mek as he killed all his family members and kidnapped his niece Booklee. Paen refuses to meet his sister Phit anymore. Both Chat and Lom are buried alive as Mek discovers they are having an affair. Meanwhile Rit kills pregnant Lamai and her mother as they refused to disclose where Paen is hidden. Phit is having an affair with Seua Rit. Per her strategy to protect her brother, Phit claims to Mek that she has been raped by Rit so that Rit cannot harm Paen anymore. Paen releases Pumarin aggressed by ruffians kidnapping her. Klot gains the trust of Mek in order to better spy him. Paen wishes to get revenge on Mek but police surrounds him. The Buddhist amulet saves Paen one more time. Phit protects Paen a last time by shooting Mek but this latter shoots her before dying. Paen listens to Pumarin and surrenders peacefully to the police. A sequel released in year 1988 was called ลำพูนแดง.

Phanum (Sorapong Chatree) is getting trained by teacher (อาจารย์) Pipop Pupinyo in a training camp located on a mountain. Phanum has stayed in the training camp for two years but he cannot remember who he is. A man called Chan, who brought him there, has disappeared already. He decides to leave the camp to enquiry on his past. He is now skilled enough in martial arts (ใช้ได้). He meets young lady Feui (สาวิตรี สามิภักดิ์) aggressed by three ruffians. Feui's brother is Lak Apichat. Fortune teller (หมอดู เทวดา) Feng (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) is also looking for Chan. Young lady Yeewa (ฤทัยรัตน์ อมตะวณิชย์), daughter of village headman Kwat (เจ้าพ่อใหญ่). Feui's Father is Somkuan Krajangsat. It seems that Chan has ennemies looking for him. Chan is currently working for village headman Kwat (Manop Aussawathep). Sarinthip Siriwan is playing Kwat's wife. Chat Mongkolchai is village headman's assistant. Today is Kwat's birthday celebration. Somebody offers an ominous gift (ของขวัญวันตาย), i.e. a coffin (โลงศพ). A hitman, offering a gift, shots Kwat three times. Phanum and Feng are arrested as suspected to be involved as they were not invited to the party. Lit (Rith Luecha) sent the killer in order to be the new village headman (กำนัน). Kwat survives as he was wearing a bullet jacket. Feng has to demonstrate his divine skills to show they are not involved in the murder tentative. The birthday celebration continues but during the evening Lit's ruffians bring the mess. Fighting (การต่อสู้) between Pao Porapak and Panum happens. Nakorn (Kecha Plianvithee) learns about Panum and send two hitmen to get rid of him and Chan. Chan is played by Nard Poowanai. Nakorn's ruffians are killed by Chan. Chan has to flee again. Two ruffians sent by Lit fail to shoot Panum. Panum is divided between Yeewa and Feui. Chan helps Panum and Feng attacked by ruffians while sending money to a wood sawmill. A master (อาจารย์) helps Panum to remember his real name as Ek. Nakorn is Ek's uncle. Ek was back from studying abroad. His father was killed (ถูกฆ่าตาย) and Ek lost memory while being injured. Thanks to master (อาจารย์), Ek recovers memory. Through the final, they storm the ruffians' place and all of them are shot. Unable to choose between Yeewa and Feui, Ek marries both of them!

Thai movie พยัคฆ์ยี่เก was released in year 1983 and last 1h50mn. It was released under VHS format. A Hong Kong version, also released under VHS format, lasts 1h30mn. The movie is directed by Kom Akadej. Two Hong Kong actors are featured, i.e. David Chiang and Norman Chu. On the movie poster released in Hong Kong, they are of course shown preeminently. A Likay (Thai folk traditional theater) troupe led by teacher Pong (ครู) (Sor Asanajinda) performs in Sukhothai. The main Likay actor is played by Tuan Tong (Sorapong Chatree) and gets a lot of flowers offered especially by ladies including Piathip Kumwong, wife of the village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). It makes the village leader (Manop Aussawathep) to be very upset so he storms the Likay theater with his ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, Panna Rittikrai and Somsak Chaisongkram) to fight with Tuan Tong as he cannot accept that his wife (แม่ตัวดี) spends money on a Likay handsome actor. Both end up at the police station but the police head (Kom Akadej) finally releases Tuan Tong as he did nothing wrong. Back to the Likay theater, Tuan Tong is beaten by ruffians. A local doctor, called Thongdee, always gives free health care to the Likay troupe. Chased again by the ruffians, Tuan Tong and Note Chernyim have to steal David Chiang's jeep to flee. David Chiang, Suriwan Suriyong and Supakorn Srisawat (ดี๋ ดอกมะดัน) are brothers and sisters. Getting back his jeep, David meets Chompoo, Tuan Tong's sister, (ชลิดา เสาวดี) so he even learns Likay skills as he is enamoured. Suriwan is expert in deltaplane. A jewellery money exchange turns badly between Manop and Sothon (โสธร รุ่งเรือง). Sothon is shot by Chat Mongkolchai but he succeeds to flee. He hides the jewellery inside the Likay theater. David is also looking for Sothon so it creates a misunderstanding between Tuan Tong and David. Sothon is killed by ruffians using a deltaplane shooting harpoons but they are still looking for the missed jewellery. They burnt the Likay theater as retaliation. Teacher Pong sells one diamond to rebuild the theater. He has hidden the real jewellery through the fake jewels used in Likay costumes. As Chat failed to capture Pong and is even shot by David, he is replaced by โดม สิงโมฬี. Ruffians storm the Likay theater again during a performance. Teacher Pong is shot by the ruffians with harpoons and killed. Chompoo is captured as she is wearing half of the real jewellery. The ruffians are led by Norman Chu, doctor Thongdee (ชาลี อินทรวิจิตร) and Rith Luecha. David and others Likay male actors (Note Chernyim...) are also captured. Tuan Tong and Suriwan storm the campment. Multiple fightings and shootings happen. Most of the protagonists die except Tuan Tong, Suriwan and his sister.

Thai movie ล่าพยัคฆ์ was released in year 1983 and lasts 1h51mn. It was released under VHS format (1h51mn) and under VCD format (1h34mn). Cha (Sombat Methanee) and Phayak (Toon Hiransap) are soldiers (รับจ้างชายแดน). Being attacked and overwhelmed by enemies, Cha forces Phayak to flee as he has a family to take care to take care. While Phayak is away, ruffians led by Klam (Chat Mongkolchai) raid his house. They, including Paen Pleumsachai, kidnap his father Sukon Koewliam and his sister Phayao (Thitima Sangkapitak). His sister is deceived by Khun Amnat (Nard Poowanai), the local mafia leader, as he simulates a fake release. Klam shot the father but bullets cannot hurt him (ยิงไม่เข้า) as he is wearing a sacred protective Buddhist amulet so they hit him very badly. Phayak goes back home. Nuan (Naowarat Yooktanun), Phayak's friend, is also harassed by the ruffians (วันนี้ไม่อยากทำบาป) led by Phalat (Rith Luecha). Phayak's father dies. Doo Dook Kradon is the caretaker. Phayak gets the protective amulet from his father mouth and is aware how his father was killed. Meanwhile Cha is left as dead at the border. Following tortures to the head by thugs, he loses his memory and is now always drunk. Phayak decides to revenge his father. It is typical 1980s-decade movie when the main actor needs to seek revenge by himself as he cannot rely on Thai police. Khun Amnat uses bad influence and power to control the area (มีอำนาจ). Police believes him. Ruffians try to get rid of Phayak but Klam fails. Phayao sends a letter to meet her brother Phayak. Her brother is upset with her as she has a new husband (ผัว) just one day after their father died. Khun Amnat uses Cha to shoot Phayak but he survives thanks to the sacred amulet (ของดี). Phayak needs to flee as police now tries to catch him as he shot a few ruffians belonging to Amnat's team. Khun Amnat uses Phayao to convince her brother to surrender (มอบตัว) and uses Cha again to kill him. Phayao complains she has no more shelter (ไม่มีที่พึ่ง). It is a trick to steal his amulet. Menawhile Nuan's father is killed and Nuan is kidnapped. Phayak needs to face Cha in order to release Nuan. Hopefully Cha recovers his memory on time. Phayao knows now that Khun Amnat is a lier so she takes back the amulet and flees from his home but she is shot by him. As usual, bad guys are finally punished and Nuan is released. No extra judicial killing this time as Khun Amnat is handovered to the police. Thai people believe that sacred powerful Buddhist amulets from famous Buddhist monks can protect them during fighting. Such amulets were used by Thai soldiers during Vietnam war. Other Thai actions movies featuring Buddhist amulets protection are เสาร์ 5 (1976), ลำพูนดำ (1983), ลายพาดกลอน (1987), ลำพูนแดง (1988)...

Thai movie พยัคฆ์ร้าย 6 แผ่นดิน / Asian King was released in year 1982 and lasts 1h48mn (Thai PBS version is only 1h42mn as reduced version with smoking / drinking sequences blurred and violent or sexy sequences cut). It was released under VCD format by Lepso Studio. The movie was also released overseas under the name "Top Team Force" by Filmark movie. It was also released under the name "Deadly Hunt" under VHS format in Sweden by company Video World. An international police squad (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea and Philippines) investigates on a crime ring called "Asian King". The Police squad (ตำรวจสากล) is led by Somchai Samipak. The "Asian King" gang is led by Bulap (Sahat Piempongsan) and เมือง อพอลโล่. In Hong Kong, Rith Luecha performs a robbery inside a jewellery. The owner is shot by Rith. David is against the shooting so he gets knockout by Rith. Rith and his men flee and meet with their local boss, Suchao Pongwilai. Police chase them but they succeed to escape by boat. David, arrested by Hong Kong police, is accused of international diamond robbery but released as proofs are not enough. Thai police follows him to spy his activities as they still have doubts on him. A whole international Police team is gathering to fight the Asian King gang. Win (Sorapong Chatree) is one of the Police team leader. Lady Napossa (Naowarat Yooktanun) joins the team as her jeweller father was killed by Asian King gang. David is back to Thailand as he wants to get revenge over the "Asian King" gang, who killed his family as retaliation. Diamonds are stolen again during a Bangkok diamond show despite the police presence. David saves Suwana’s life (Piyamas Monayakol) by being shot instead of her. Catherine (Chaweewan Boonprok), part of Asian King team, gets the tasks to kill some male policemen. She targets David first but fails. Songthong is part of Thai police also. Rumours are heard that Asian King team needs to gather in Pattaya. Asian King team tries all ways to get rid of the special police force but to no avail. Asian King team’s cache entrance is hidden under a hotel swimming pool. Two members are captured and Songthong is shot dead. Win and Napossa are also captured. The other members localise also the cache. All members succeed to escape. The Thai army comes to help the policemen to neutralize the Asian King tean. Through a final battle, many characters are injured or killed while assaulting the Asian King gang’s fortress. Win's self sacrifice inside the fortress succeeds to destroy it. A Thai TV serie or Lakorn (ละคร) based on this story was also done in 2003. Despite a classic scenario, the highest value of this movie is to include the finest bunch of Thai actors from beginning of 1980s decade.

ดาวพระเสาร์ (The Big Deal) movie is gathering three main stars from 1980s decade, i.e. Sorapong Chatree, Toon Hiransap and Jarunee Sooksawad. This movie is mixing action and romance. An impressive bunch of 1970s-1980s famous Thai actors are participating. Dam Datsakorn, more known for his ruffian leader role, is also the director. Dao Prasao (Sorapong Chatree) is similar to a lonesome cowboy but he has a strong kick (ตีนแรง) whenever somebody is looking for troubles. Taen (Toon Hiransap) wishes to befriend with Dao Prasao. Taen is chased by Sing Manorom's ruffians but gets help from Dao Prasao. Taen gives him a bag with 100 000 baht as a reward. Taeng, Taen's fiancee, is promised to ruffian Sing Manorom so Taen has no wish to live anymore. The 100 000 baht were supposed to be used while fleeing with Taeng. Diaw Dai (Wiyada Umarin), prostitute with sincere heart, helps them to hide from the ruffians. Tuang (Rith Luecha) is her evil pimp and wishes to take revenge following Diaw Dai betrayal. Dao Prasao promises to help Taen. Taeng (Jarunee Sooksawad) is the daughter of sub- district headman (kamnan) called Yot. Dao Prasao arrives as a mysterious wedding gift giver in order to enter more easily in Yot’s house. Causing a fire during the wedding eve, Dao Prasao takes profit of the mess to flee with Taeng. He is injured while helping her. Despite a plot from Tuang, all succeed to escape the ruffians. Diaw Dai has some feelings for Dao Prasao. Some feelings start also between Taeng and Dao Prasao. His real name is Kata. He left his home as his fiancee married his father while he was studying abroad. Meanwhile while visiting Taen's home, Taeng discovers he has already a fiancee! In fact his father wants to force him to marry a high society lady called Kaew (Thitima Sangkapitak). Feeling sad, Taeng is finally captured again by the ruffians. Aware of this, Dao Prasao with close friend Dang's support raid the ruffians nightclub. Jarunee excels in Thai boxing skill-set and they succeed to escape. Taeng is disappointed by Taen as he doesn't dare to oppose his father to protect their love (อยู่ในอำนาจบารมีของพ่อ). He is not as courageous as Dao Prasao. Taen feels hurt by Taeng’s words. Chumporn, head of ruffians, is leading a prostitution ring. They capture many ladies including Taeng, Kaew, Diaw Dai to sell them to an international buyer. Tuang kills Diaw Dai as a revenge. Dao Prasao and Taen successfully release the ladies through fierce fights on moving trucks and through motorized acrobatics. Taen wishes to show he has courage also. Kaew is killed during the battle. Taen and Taeng are reunited. Dao Prasao leaves them and continues his life as a lonesome cowboy. Dao Prasao has accomplishes his mission as Taen and Taeng can be happy together now. An earlier version with Sombat Methanee was shot in 1970.

Khongra (Sorapong Chatree) is relative (หลาน) of Am Su Ra Krai (Toon Hiransap). Khongra is coming to Phailom district to visit Am. Am's team, such as Wo (Lak Apichat), needs to carry guns as the area is full of ruffians (นักเลงบ้านนอก) such as Thaem (Porjed Kaenpetch). Mr Putr is accused to have stolen (ปล้นรถไถ) Am's tractor. Local ruffians forbid farmers to cultivate the fields but as Khongra dares to bring a tractor, he has no choice but to shoot them. Later on, he helps a young lady Chairon harassed by three ruffians. Chairon is living alone as her parents died already. Thaem is defeated by Khongra on one to one fight. Friendship starts between Thaem and Khongra. Godfather (เจ้าพ่อ) Bamjong (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to recruit Khongra as he likes his style. Khongra discovers that the tractor was stolen by Mr Putr despite his disclaimer. Romance starts between Khongra and Chairon. All the illegal activities are handled by a local few godfathers including lady Sa (Aranya Namwong), Bamjong, Dam (Dam Datsakorn) and Reut (Rith Luecha). Chairon has been kidnapped and Khongra is ordered to leave the area within 24 hours. Meanwhile Khongra (เสียตัว) is also kidnapped by mysterious Amazons (Sopha played by Wiyada Umarin and Thitima Sangkapitak) but succeeds to escape. Gnoh (Kowit Wattanakul) is a policeman coming to arrest drug traffickers believed to be linked to local ruffians. Am, Khongra storm Putr's home to know where Chairon is. Before dying, Putr just says she is located at Beung Mai. While going to Beung Mai, they meet Sopha again. It is a trick to split Am, Wo and Khongra. In a fierce shooting, Wo is killed. Sa is suspected to have kidnapped Am. Khongra and Thaem are captured and imprisoned with Am. Chairon provides a hidden message but her behavior is noticed by the guard (ทรยศ). Chairon and Sopha are sentenced to death by Sa. Hopefully Khongra, who succeeds to escape, helps them on time. A festival for farmers is happening in Phailom district. Khongra is aware of the ruffians’ plan to intimidate farmers in order to finally possess the whole land in the area. Explosions happen during the festivities. Following various shootings and car chasing, all ruffians are killed or captured by Khongra, Am and police led by Gnoh. This Thai movie จ้าวนรก, directed by Payoong Payakul, is a typical 1980s action movie involving many key leading actors from decades 1970s-1980s.

ทอง ภาค 2 / Goldraider is a sequel of ทอง ภาค 1. It was released in year 1982. It lasts 1h33mn. It is a DVD featuring English language with Thai subtitles. The plane leaving Laos with gold bars is shot down. There is a stock valued 200M USD on board. Cheut (Sombat Methanee) and Satra (Krung Srivilai), both present in first sequel, succeed to jump by parachute. Cheut ends in a mountain village where Wassana Sitthiweth is a teacher. Satra ends in another village led by Somchai Samipak and is accused of being a spy. As one leader wishes to marry Naowarat Yooktanun, Satra's life is spared as he needs to offer gold for the wedding. So Satra must lead them. Another team led by Mark (Robert Ginty) and including Cordelia (Sarah Langenfeld), Penpoin (Lalana Sulawan) - explosive expert -, Rith Luecha – knife expert - and others is on the way to the border to prevent communists to grab the gold bars. The commando has to get back three big boxes containing weapons and delivered by planes. The Laotian leader is a general (Manop Aussawathep), who has a crippled leg. He has to catch the gold raiders and find the gold bars to give back to his commander Sahat Piempongsan. While crossing a ravine, the gold raiders get reunited with Satra and Naowarat, who were fleeing from the Laotian soldiers. They finally all get captured except Mark, who flees through his flying motorcycle. Penpoin recognises her former Thai boyfriend, who is now a captain in the communist army. At night time, Mark releases them and they storm the ruffians' camp. As the village chief was killed, Naowarat guides them to the plane. They succeed to steal the gold bars from the laotian soldiers and rush to the Mekong river to wait for US helicopters. Manop Aussawathep tries to steal the gold from his own commander Sahat Piempongsan. Laotian army reinforcement arrives but the gold raiders succeed to slow them down. Gold is finally extracted but 5 of the gold raiders have lost their lives during the expedition.

Meanwhile Ek and Thai police stop the boat trafficking the drugs. Dao is aware that San keeps the money and asks for 50%. San gives 1M THB to a school. Ruffians including Meuang (เมือง อพอลโล่) try to kill Ek again but they fail again. Dao uses a knuckle duster (สนับมือ) to kill one ruffian but does not disclose who she really is. Thai police wonder who is helping them. Nida is shot by Meuang. San is about to be killed also but Dao helps him. Meuang discloses to the organisation boss that Dao is the one using a knuckle duster. Ek discovers that Dao gives all her salary to her poor mother. Back to home, both Dao and Ek are captured by Rith. San uses Umarin as a bait. Umarin is captured and San follows the ruffians to know where their location is. Nai Boonleut is unveiled as the head of the secret organisation. Boonleut wants the money and his diamonds back. Meanwhile San warns Police colleagues and helps to release Ek. Thai police storm the ruffians' den. Heavy shootings happen and ruffians are neutralized.

Some people promise him a fake job in Saraburi. They drug him with sedative pills (ยานอนหลับ) and steal his money. Sio speaks Isan language only. Sio finds the three men again and a fight erupts. Very strong, Sio kills them during the fight thanks to his strong punch. Sio ends up in jail with two other men, Lak Apichat and Boo Wibunnan, who are pickpockets. They become friends. Released from prison, Lak and Boo meet Phi Kang (Adul Dulyarat), who has serious issues with ruffians led by Boonchai (Manop Aussawathep) wishing to buy his garden. There are gems (พลอยแดง) in his garden soil. His children are Sayan Chantaraviboon, Supansa Nuengpirom and her elder sister played by Ampha Pusit. Sombat is having two roles in this movie, i.e. Sio and Sia! Sia Songsak is another local ruffian and his mother is played by Chosri Misommon. Some people confuse Sio and Sia. Sio has to punch people mistaking him as Sia. Sia finally finds Sio. Fighting erupts between both of them. Through the fight, Sio kills Sia due to his strong fist punch. Each time he gets hit below the stomach, Sio loses his temper. Afraid of being arrested by police again, both Sio and Boo leave for Chantaburi. Arriving there, they are involved in another fight and befriend with young men. Boo brings them to work with him. Sio likes fair justice (รักความยุติธรรม). Ruffians propose a 5 to 5 fight. Rith Luecha is one of the fighters. If they lose, they have to sell the garden. Thanks to Sio, they win. Trying a last solution, the ruffians kidnap the two daughters. Even Saran, now able to fight, joins them. Through final fighting, ruffians are neutralized. Sio is injured while protecting Supansa. US movie Rocky soundtrack is used.

Chatree (Sahat Piempongsan) and Boo (Boo Wibunnan), two rich men, take part to social activities implying donations. Chatree's wife (Duangcheewan Komolsen) is a former bar singer. Their relationship is not going on well. Meanwhile ruffians rob a jewelry. Police inspector (สารวัตร) Kampan shots them (จับตาย 3 ศพ). Manop, brother of two deceased ruffians, is upset and looks for revenge towards Kampan. Naowarat, new young female policeman, has to work with Kampan (Sombat Methanee) known as "pitiless gun" (ปืนโหด). Kampan has lost his wife during an intervention. Since that time, he is a lonely policeman and is well known to kill bad guys with one bullet only with his magnum 357. Naowarat's father is the head of Thai police. Naowarat just comes back from Chicago after high successful studies. Chatree is the owner of a nightclub but he is losing money. Outside the nightclub, two thugs try to kill Kampan but they get finally shot by him. Reut and Manop try to kill inspector Kampan again. As they fail, they flee through a school minibus. Without knowing it, there are Chatree and Boo's sons in the minibus! Children are used as protection (ตัวประกัน). The ruffians ask for a ransom of 10M baht that shall be carried by Kampan (มือดี). Kampan brings no gun but has a special watch in order to be located anywhere. Chatree is in fact Manop's boss (เจ้านาย). Kampan's watch is discovered and after some torture, he is put in a sealed hole with Chatree's wife and her lover dead bodies. Buried alive, Kampan escapes death thanks to some workers finishing Chatree's house canalisations. The ruffians ask 1M USD to the Chinese businessman against his son's life. Money exchange shall happen in a full football stadium but Kampan and Naowarat make their plan foiled. Reut is killed. Chatree and Manop bring the kids into a disaffected factory. Following his own son pleas, Chatree surrenders. Kampan shots Manop. Children are freed. It could be the Thai version of "Dirty Harry" as Kampan also does self justice. The Thai version lasts 1h38mn. An international version was also released by Filmark production and is lasting 1h30mn. The international name is "CRIME TARGET".

Reuang likes Kao's skills (เยี่ยมมาก / ฝีมือไม่เบา) so Kao is used as a hitman (มือสังหาร) to get rid of Lek. During the fighting, Lek and Kao realise they have the same pendant so are brothers. They try to storm Reuang home at nighttime but face strong opposition. How can Lek and Pha stay together as Lek has to take revenge on Reuang (ฉันจะทำอย่างไร)? Reuang uses money (สินน้ำใจ) to corrupt officials. The three heros (Lek, Kao and Lak)) disrupt Reuang’s business. Reuang hires Keng, a strong kung fu fighter to get rid of them. Despite losing to him, keng lets them ago as he is a former friend of their father. Finally they attack directly Reuang and succeed to capture him. Unwilling to forgive, they put some explosives in the small cabana (ผีเฝ้าที่นี่) and flee the police. They finally surrender three days later and get a fair trial. The movie lasts 1h49mn. This Thai action movie mixes Thai and Hong Kong actors / actresses.

A woman is about to deliver her baby. The husband brings his wife on a boat but it is caught in a storm. Their village on the island is wiped away by a tsunami. A boy is born on the boat. During his youth, Ai Klang is trained to use all weapons. Salai (Wiyada Umarin) likes Ai Klang since her childhood. Ai Klang (Sorapong Chatree) has a reputation of having extraordinary skills as storm child (ลูกพายุ). He is disliked by some pirates (Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Rith Luecha and Phaophan Phongnathee) on the island. During a boat attack, the father is injured and the diviner predicts a bad omen for the village (ดาวบอก). Ai Klang and Sarapat, the other son (ลูกพ่อ), keep arguing over Salai. Their pirate (สลัด) village is located on an island. Normally they never keep survivors to avoid their hidden village to be discovered. Sarapat keeps a young lady called Chom (Duangcheewan Komolsen) for his father. She becomes in fact his mistress. Salai's family members are accused of theft. In fact, their crime is to have seen Sarapat and his mistress Chom together. Through a deadly game, two are shot but the father survives as Ai Klang fails, on purpose, to hit him three times. Ai Klang rescues a young lady Malai (Nantana Ngao Krajang) whose boat is wrecked on the island. It causes Salai's jealousy. While bringing her back to her father, Ai Klang is recognized as pirate and needs to flee. Ai Klang learns from Salai's father that he is not the real son of the pirates’ leader. While the father is away, the bad pirates get rid of Salai's father despite Ai Klang's resistance. Ai Klang is attached to a pole during rising tide but Salai helps him before he gets drowned. Sarapat takes over the island while his father is away. When the father is back, he is captured. While Sarapat and his men celebrate their victory, the island volcano wakes up. Ai Klang and a number of men faithful to the father attack the renegade pirates. Fight is fierce but they win. Salai is killed during the fightings. Ai Klang ends up fighting with his father as he killed his real parents twenty years ago. He is unable to kill him as twenty years together have created strong filial bonds. To acknowledge his mistake, the father announces that they all stop to be pirates! But it is too late as finally a tsunami wipes the island. Just before, the father sent Ai Klang and Malai to take refuge on higher grounds. ไอ้คลั่งทะเลโหด was released in year 1979 and features an impressive list of famous 1970s Thai actors. Star wars movie soundtrack is used. The movie was never released officially in VCD or DVD format but a VHS telezin version can be found around. It is supposed to be one of the few Thai movies shot in 70mm format.

Lao Thong (Sorapong Chatree) is a Hmong leaving in Northern part of Thailand. He has a wife called Siew Fa and a young boy named Soo Noi. While he is away, his wife Siew Fa has been kidnapped by ruffians, who have been threatening the mountain villagers since years. Lao Thong's nickname is the Mountain Lion (เสือภูเขา) as he can run very fast. Lao Thong goes after the ruffians and find their camp. Their leader is Museudam. Lao Thong and Siew Fa have to kill Chayo, Museudam's brother, in order to escape from the ruffians' camp. They need to flee with their son from the Hmong village as Museudam seeks for revenge. Unfortunately Lao Thong and his family are captured by another ruffians group. Hopefully their leader, Cha Teun, is a former sergeant who knows well Lao Thong. Some ruffians believe they are undercover policemen so Lao Thong has to fight and defeat them to win his freedom. Opium trade has always been a huge traffic in Northern Thailand due to Golden Triangle (Burma, Laos and Thailand). Lao Pho (Lak Apichat) is a Hmong village working with the police border to neutralize local ruffian gangs. Cha Teun's gang is attacked by the Police. Cha Teun believes that Lao Thong is the traitor who warned the police. Then both gangs decide to take revenge over him. They decide to hire another Hmong as only a lion can catch a lion. His wife, Siew Fa, is injured. Na Cha (Jarunee Sooksawad), Lao Pho's sister, helps them. Museudam and Cha Teun try to hire Lao Pho (แมวไม่ฆ่าแมว) but to no avail. So Museudam kills Lao Pho's father and accuses Lao Thong so he suceeds to convince Lao Pho's to chase Lao Thong. Na Cha fights very well but is in fact a girl. Siew Fa finally kills herself to avoid being the one slowing her family down. Lao Thong takes revenge over the ruffians, who disband. The two ruffian groups even kill each other and only Cha Teun succeeds to flee as his own gang is wiped away. A love story starts between Lao Thong and Na Cha. Na Cha succeeds to convince her brother that the culprit is Museudam and not Lao Thong. Museudam kidnaps Lao Thong's son. Lao Thong, Cha Teun, Na Cha and Lao Pho storm the ruffians' campement. Ruffians are defeated but Lao Pho dies while protecting Lao Thong. The Mountain Lion is one of the most famous movies directed by Kom Akadej. It is shot within beautiful Thai northern landscapes. It was one of the few Thai movies dealing about Hmong community. The Mountain Lion - เสือภูเขา (1979) movie remains famous for its Kung Fu scenes. This film was one of the first to mix elaborate stunt work and well choreographed fight scenes.

They kidnap villagers and force them to work as slaves (ทาส). Sukol (Sombat Methanee) is working in a gambling den (บ่อน). He meets his old friend Phairoj Jaising. They were former Thai soldiers during the war in Laos. Both of them have been requested to meet in this remote Isan city by their old friend Siaw (Manop Aussawathep). Siaw requests help as his two sisters, Bao (Mayura Thanabutr) and Mon (Duangjai Hathaikarn), have disappeared. They are part of the working slaves (ทำไร่กัญชา) and have been lured by fake job offers. Bao is sick but to get medicine from the guards, women have to offer their body. No problem (มาเลย) for Chai (Piathip Kumwong), who is a former kind hearted prostitute, in order to help Bao. As usual Pipop Pupinyo is playing the ruthless ruffian also. Sukol loves to eat Larb Luat dish (ลาบเลือด). Phairoj, simulating to be an up country bumpkin, is recruited as worker by the agency offering expensive fake jobs. Seua Ling (Sawin Sawangrat) is the big boss. Meanwhile showing his fighting and shooting skills, Sakol is recruited by Seua Ling. Rivalry happens between Sakol and Seuabin as both are skilled gunman (มือปืน). When Chai is sick, nobody is helping her (ใจหมา). She dies during the night refusing Mon to sacrifice herself for her. Sakol asks Siaw to provide explosives. Sawin has an important 500 kg shipment to be done so extra ruffians come. New plan is to release all inmates and not only the two sisters. Seuabin prepares a putsch against Seua Ling as he is upset that Seua Ling is too friendly with Sakol and also wishing to get a bigger share of money. The plan seems to go wrong when Seuabin captures and tortures Sakol to know the truth. Phairoj organises the inmates uprising and uses weapons hidden by Siaw in the field. Through a thrilling and explosive final, all ruffians are defeated or killed. Finally Siaw offers his two sisters to Sakol and Phairoj as rewards. ลาบเลือด is a 2h08mn Thai western.

Movie ไอ้ถึก was released in year 1979 and lasts 1h58mn. It is a funny comedy showing the discovery of Bangkok and its modernism by three bumpkins. Lazy husband Sayan (Sayan Chantaraviboon) is chased from home by his wife (Chosri Misommon). His friends are Yiem (Sorapong Chatree) and Phabai (Thep Thienchai). The three friends are fired from their respective home (อยู่วัดตั้งแต่เกิด, home, mistress). They need to find ways to survive. They decide to go to Bangkok (บ้านนอกเข้ากรุง). Various funny situations happen as they are not used to Bangkok modern way of life. They have arguments in a restaurant with ruffians (นักเลง). The ruffians were hired by two young ladies to release their sister Nong Suda kidnapped by Decha (Kecha Plianvithee) and Rith Luecha. The ladies hire the three friends instead. They succeed to release Suda. During the escape, they also take a case belonging to Decha. Ruffians want to get back the suitcase (กระเปาะขอคืน) as it contains important documents related to their business. The three ladies bring the three friends around Bangkok (Happy Land attraction park, Pattaya). They also discover hotels and massage (นวด). As a fighting erupts in the massage parlour, Khun Prangsee (Duangcheewan Komolsen) brings them to her home. They finally befriend with her husband played by Lor Tok (คุณผู้ชายมาแล้ว). After multiple failed trials, Decha finally gets back his suitcase but also kidnaps again Suda and her sisters. The police believes the three friends are responsible of the kidnapping. A fair (งานฉลอง) organized by Khun Prangsee's husband turns to a disaster as police tries to arrest them. By fleeing, the three friends bring the Police by luck to Decha's house. Ruffians are captured. Ladies are released and the three friends are innocented. They prefer to go back to their village than staying in Bangkok. The three ladies bring them to their village but finally flee as Yiem's house collapse on them, as it is discovered that Sayan is already married, as Phabai offers a weird amulet (ปลัดขลิก)!

Jak Khui (Sombat Methanee) is back to Khorat. He was just released from prison (ติดคุก). He receives recommendations not to come back to Khorat so he disguises in a hippy. Ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, โดม สิงห์โมฬี, ไสล พูนชัย) follow him as they are unsure it is Jak Khui. He is still looking for his wife Kamsee (Khomapat Attaya) and his son. Undertaker Adinan Singhiran (สัปเหร่อ Sa) helps Jak Khui. Comic Thep Thienchai is part of the team. Jak Khui has to hide in a coffin to escape the ruffians. Yan (Dam Datsakorn), mafia leader (เจ้าพ่อ) in Khorat, wishes to get rid of Jak Khui. Steve (Rith Luecha), hitman (มือดี) from Saraburi, is hired. It was the first movie for Rith Luecha. A Yan's ruffian, former friend with Jak Khui, warns him. Steve and ruffians try to surprise them, but they get pushed back in a cemetery. Yan and his ruffians then storm Uncle Kiet's Thai boxing centre as they believe Jak Khui, former Thai boxer, is hiding there. Kiet's daughter (Duangcheewan Komolsen) and the Thai boxers push them back also (นักเลง vs นักมวย). Some protesters block a factory sawmill manager. Gnot (Kanchit Kwanpracha), as policeman head, lets them do. Hin (Manop Aussawathep) tries to interpose but he is outnumbered. Khaemkaen (Aranya Namwong) asks the protesters to stop. Protesters are pushed by Yan and protected by policeman Gnot. Fighting erupts between Yan and Hin, the new factory manager. Khaemkaen, Yan's fiancee, has to stop them (ต่อยเหมือนเด็กวัด). Sayan Chantaraviboon enters Yan's home to defy him. Appreciating Sayan’s boldness, Yan hires him. Jak Khui finally meets his son Simon, who is now a Buddhist novice. Jak Khui stayed five years in prison. Simon has no news about his mother. Sa brings Jak Khui to Kamsee, who is now a crazy woman. His son asks him to stop revenge, but he cannot do it. Kamsee is shot later by Steve. Yan is behind his demise and family misfortune. Jak Khui wishes to revenge (ล้างแค้น). The Thai boxing team is willing to join him. Jak Khui visits Gnot, the corrupt policeman (ตำรวจเลวๆ), but he is outnumbered and taken over to Yan's house. Yan is willing to get rid of Jak Khui as he opposed to him before when he was rising as Khorat mafia leader. They put him in a coffin and plan to throw him from a cliff. Hopefully Sayan Chantaraviboon helps him and they put the warden instead. Jak Khui then visits Khaemkaen to explain to her Yan's bad accomplishments. Hin and his men take back the wood stolen from forests by Yan's ruffians. It makes Yan to be very upset. To their surprise, during Khaemkaen's birthday, ruffians discover that Jak Khui is still alive! Seeing that Thai police starts to have proofs against him, Yan decides to flee. Khaemkaen is kidnapped by Yan. Jak Khui and his team storm the place where Yan and his ruffians are hiding. Jak Khui takes revenge over Yan. Hin and Sayan are finally undercover policemen. Romance can happen between Jak Khui and Khaemkaen.

Hin (Sombat Methanee) is a monk. One day he receives a letter from his younger niece announcing that his parents have been killed by ruffians, their house burnt and cattle stolen. Hin finally disrobes (ศึก). After so many years as monk, only a few people recognize him, i.e. Lung Kiaw (Sukon Koewliam) and his former teacher (Adinan Singhiran). Sombat Methanee shaved his head for this movie. Hin still behaves like a monk, speaks like a monk (โยม), carry his umbrella and stay calm but sometimes it is too much to endure and ruffians get smashed! Subdistrict headman Loi (Sawin Sawangrat) is now living on the land belonging to Hin's relatives. He is always protected by a bunch of ruffians including Pipop Pupinyo. Fon (Piyamas Monayakol) is the daughter of subdistrict headman Loi. Lom (Phairoj Jaising), Hin’s former classmate, is the son of subdistrict headman Loi. Phi Saen (Kanchit Kwanpracha) takes care of Neung and Sai, Hin's nephews. Ang (Lak Apichat) always follows Hin to help him. Lom’s girlfriend is called Chada (Wiyada Umarin) and is the daughter of Pho Lieng. Hin just wants to take care of his nephews and not bring trouble regarding the land (ผมมาดี). A new house is built and vegetables are planted. Hin wears colorful shirts (สีแปลกๆ). On the way to sell the corn, Hin's truck is stolen and Hin is beaten. Dam Datsakorn and Rith Luecha are the ones behind. They are Pho Lieng’s faithful lieutenants! As Hin is at hospital, Rith kidnaps Sai. Ruffians fail to kill Hin at the hospital so he is aware through Neung and Fon. Pho Lieng (Kecha Plianvithee), the big boss, wishes to marry Fon but Loi knows his daughter will never accept. Seua Tim (Manop Aussawathep) is seen with Pho Lieng but keeps his independence. Hin finds Sai but it is too late as she has been raped and killed. Hin has to forget his previous Buddhist vows (เรื่องคนชั่ว) to take revenge. Hin reuses the chain that was used to kill Sai in order to hit the ruffians. Fierceful fights happen between Hin and Rith / Dam in an underground casino. Despite Hin winning, Pho Lieng orders the ruffians to kill Hin but Seua Tim forbids as guns are not allowed in his casino. Hin kidnaps Fon to bring trouble to Kamnan Loi. Pho lieng orders to kill Subdistrict headman Loi as this latter refuses to enter in a bigger scale of corruption (แบ่งกันกินแบ่งกันใช่). Lom and Fon believes the murderer is Hin. Finally Seua Tim explains the truth to them. Justice happens and all the ruffians are killed. Hin leaves as a lonely cowboy. Movie Maha Hin (มหาหิน) was released in year 1978 and directed by famous action movies director Kom Akadej (เจ้าพ่อหนังบู๊เมืองไทย). This movie really features a big bunches of major actors during decade 1970s. Sombat Methanee got 1M baht to cut his hair and be bald as he couldn't play other movies during many months.

Three beggars are friends and helping each other. One is polishing shoes, one is singing, one is simulating being a blind man in order to be able to sell lottery tickets. One of them has opportunity to work for a businessman and starts a romance with the businessman's daughter. Another one is courting another businessman's daughter. A local mafia gang is kidnapping the two businessmen. Police promises to help but the local police head is part of the mafia gang. The three beggards will manage to release the two businessmen.
