It is based on a true story. Wally is a girl living with her blind grandmother and mother. Her mother is sick and Wally has to run every day 8 kilometers to go to school and go back to take care of her mother. Fed up by intrigues from Pissamai and her daughter, Taen wishes to go home (ไม่สบายใจ). Taen's father was a bandit (เสือ).

Thai movie ลูกหนี้ทีเด็ด was released in year 1984 and lasts 1h36mn. The movie was released under DVD format by company Happy Home Entertainment. The movie features many songs. A music orchestra (วงดนตรี) has difficulty to make a living. Part of the members include Note Cheunyim, Rop (ปัญญา นิรันดร์กุล), Doo Dook Kradon, Tranee (Der Doksadao). Their producer is Rith Luecha but they have no success. Rith Luecha is married to Bun Reuang (Piathip Kumwong). They have never time to take care about their daughter Ro Rak (จิตต์โสภิณ ลิมปิสวัสดิ์). พี่ Niaw as new producer tries to find new ideas. The group doesn't have expected success (หมดตัว) as concert halls remain almost empty. Last chance is to release a tape but Phi Niaw (Lor Tok) has to sell his house (ขายไม่ออก). His secretary Suphanee is also his wife. His friends ask Rop to marry Ro Rak as she is coming from rich family. He needs to seduce her first but he is not expert at all (กำลังโบ้เบ้ / อย่าลีลา). Rith is having affairs while his wife Bun Reuang is always out on charity events with a high society woman (คุณหญิง). Phi Niaw lost his car, his house and about to lose his wife as the other orchestra members suggest to use Suphanee to seduce Rith. The music orchestra is looking for a new style (เพลงสตริง) to be popular. Bun Reuang chases all of them away after seeing Rop trying to seduce her daughter and after knowing that Rith has given money without asking for reimbursement as Tranee always introduces beautiful ladies to him to ease loan requests... They leave for upcountry. Ro Rak hides in their van. Police is called by Bun Reuang. Rop is almost arrested for kidnapping a teen but finally released as the problems are coming from the fact that the parents are not talking each other. Bun Reuang needs to organize a concert for orphan children (เด็กกำพร้า) so she needs a music orchestra. Only Tranee's orchestra is available...so she has to remove her complaint regarding unpaid debts. The concert is a huge success. She saves face. Rop and Ro Rak renew their friendship.

Nio is very avaricious and complains that his wife is doing temple donations too often (ทำบุญ). Another family has lady See (Metta Roongrat) as family leader. She has two children i.e. Oi (Lak Apichat) and Pae (Apaporn Kornthip). Neun is going to temple fair with Pae. See wishes her daughter Pae to marry Boo (Boo Wibunnan), a rich but old bachelor. The two families are always in conflict so a wedding between Neun and Pae is a challenge to happen. Sor Asanajinda and Malee Wetpraseri visit relatives with their daughter Kaet (Anchalee Chaisiri). Kaet (นางฟ้า) shall stay in countryside a few months as she is pregnant... Pae is also pregnant with Neun. Father Nio refuses to pay the dowry (สินสอด). See asks for 10,000 THB. Nio only offers 1 baht! Finally, Yui steals 5,000 THB from her husband. Oi steals 5,000 THB from his mother See. So, wedding can happen. But due to Nio and See conflicting, it fails and both Neun and Pae are chased away from their families as they stole money from their parents. Thanks to a recommendation, Neun finds a job by working for Pipop Pupinyo. Kaet goes back for Bangkok and leaves the child behind. As there is a need for money to pay for house windows, Neun asks Pipop for money advance. His wife agrees but she asks for endearment from Neun. Pipop comes back home and fighting occurs with Neun. The wife tries to interpose and gets stabbed by accident. Pipop accuses Neun of having murdered his wife. Neun must flee. Pae and Neun's child is born. Krai (Krai Kanchit) and Pipop commit burglary and murders under the name of Neun. See, Pae's mother, is indebted by playing cards. See and Oi arrange a wedding with Boo. They lie that Neun has a new wife to convince Pae. It makes Neun upset. Wittaya Sukdamrong recommends him to calm down. Neun needs to flee police called by Oi. Neun takes refuge in Bangkok in Kaet's family as a car driver. Kaet's husband, Anoon (อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์), has another wife so Kaet is heartbroken and Sor recommends her to build a new life (ตั้งต้นไม้). Oi sympathises with Kaet's husband being a teacher. หมอเสน่ห์ is hired by Pae's family so Boo fires them. A romance between Kaet and Neun happens. Grandma Malee doesn't accept it. Nio is killed by Krai following an external affair. Yui's house is burgled. Neun arrives too late but hopefully Nio's money was well hidden. Neun meets Pipop and Krai fleeing after the robbery. They finally shoot each other unable to share the money. Yui, Neun's mother, sends a parade to ask for Kaet's hand. Neun gives 100,000 THB as promised for Kaet's hand and builds a big house on the land given by Sor. During a drinking session, Anoon discloses to Oi, that Neun is a stupid countryside man as he is marrying Kaet while both of her children are from himself! Despite having university diploma, Anoon behaves badly and the diploma has no value (กระดาษชำระ) as it didn't teach him to behave correctly in life. Informed by Oi, Neun keeps drinking and meets Pae, working in a club as partner. Pae ended up as Prostitute (กะหรี่) and lost her childcare. Anoon even receives 100,000 THB from Sor to keep quiet. Anoon gets beaten by Neun but is only worried about the money. Upset that Kaet lied to him (หลอกลวงเขา), Neun burns the new house (ไฟไหม้เรือนหอ) and surrenders to the Thai Police. Before being arrested, Neun asks Kaet to give money to Pae every month so that she can stop working and take care about their child. This movie highlights poor people versus rich people. Poor people have better heart than rich people.

Thai movie สะใภ้ลูกทุ่ง was released in year 1982 and lasts 1h48mn. It was released under VCD format by Lepso and Happy Time companies. Movie director is ดริน ดารากร. Mui (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Khaem (Mayura Thanabutr) are sisters and have arguments with their mother Malee (Malee Wetpraseri). It seems that Malee is preparing an arranged wedding with a Bangkokian young man. It could be Ati (Toon Hiransap) or At (ยิ่งใหญ่ อายะนันท์), a gay man. Mui is upset as she read a letter sent by Ati looking down her sister (บ้านนอก, เมียลูกทุ่ง). The two young men are also upset as they don't plan to get married. Waew (Janthana Siriporn) is playing a comic domestic helper. Ati's Father is played by Somchai Samipak. Ati simulates being sick so only his mother (Phong Lada Pimolpan) and At are going to Ubon. Ati has multiple girlfriends. So being in trouble with them, he finally also goes to Ubon. Ati meets Mui as he is hurt by her motorbike. He meets her father Sor Asanajinda. When realizing that Ati is the Bangkok guy who wrote the nasty letter, she chases him away. Chok (อนุสรณ์ เดชะปัญญา), At's boyfriend (แฟน), needs 100 000 baht to finish his doctor studies. Sor has also a debt towards Somchai and his wife as he borrowed money to pay Mui's doctor studies so that is why his family has to agree to a wedding. Mui is upset with Bangkok people, who denigrate (ดูถูก) countryside people. To get the 100 000 baht from Malee, At accepts to marry Khaem but there is no love. The mother uses Khaem as her slave. At prepares to divorce by claiming Khaem has an affair with doctor Chok. Chok acknowledges due to the debt he owes to Ati. Mui, being doctor student with Chok, is upset by his behavior and discloses to the whole family that it is only a lie as Chok and At are gays. Sor has died so Mui and Khaem go back to Ubon. Chok keeps drinking as he loved secretly Mui and is ashamed of his behavior (ไม่น่าบัดซบ). Ati finally marries Mui but his mother keeps being upset having Mui as daughter in law. The mother now invents a relationship between Chok and Mui to ruin Ati's wedding. Malee, being sick, is cured by Mui (หมอเทวดา) so relationship is improved between Mui and Malee. Chok and Khaem finally marry as Chok wishes to repair his previous mistakes. Somchai forces his wife to change her behavior. At tries to shoot Chok during the wedding but Ati interposes and gets shot. Mui cures him. The mother apologizes to Mui and happiness is back in the family. A remastered version was released by Five Star Production (ไฟว์สตาร์โปรดักชั่น) in the decade 2010s and shown on Thai TV cable. It was released under VCD format by Lepso company. Movie director is เพชร ราชภรณ์. A group of six friends (including เด่น ดอกประดู่, Der Doksadao, Thep Po-ngam) are doing magic tricks and selling medicine to cure toothache, but it fails to be a good business. Running out of money, they decide to rob a bank. Sithao Petcharoen and Thuam Thoranong are among the policemen being warned about a robbery. Sompong Phonmitr, as head of police, orders the Police to surround the bank. The six friends succeed to flee by disguising themselves as ladies. They put a fake bomb around a group of ruffians (Dam Datsakorn, Lak Apichat, Pipop Pupinyo, Somsak Chaisongkram, อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์...), who promised to get revenge knowing it was a trick. The bank boss is Boo Wibunnan. The police head is upset with three policemen as they let the six fake ladies escape. They must catch them back to erase their mistakes. The six friends have a car accident but get help from truck drivers led by young lady Ae (Nipaporn Nongnuch). Ae invites them to her home. There, they find Boo, Ae's father, playing cards with other men. Luckily, Boo does not recognize them. Boo is losing money. As Tok is knowing card tricks, he gets the money back. The six friends prefer to leave afraid that Boo would recognize them. They decide to look for a job in Bangkok. Ae invites them to her home in Bangkok and guarantees that her father will find jobs for them. Going to Bangkok, Tok leaves the bank bag full of money to his aunt Malee Wetpraseri. The friends then separate to avoid being caught by the police. Tok meets his old old friend Elvis (วิสูตร ตุงคะรัตน์ - Thai Elvis), who invites him. In Ae’s house, the friends meet the aunt Chosri Misommon and Ae’s elder sister Ann (Duangcheewan Komolsen). The ruffians try to take revenge over the six friends, but finally they give up as they see the Police chasing the friends. Back at his aunt’s house, Tok finds she has died, and the money has disappeared. At the funerals, Sukon Koewliam announced to Tok that aunt Hom had used the money to donate to the local Buddhist temple to build a sacred chapel. Thai people finally catch the six friends and Boo recognizes them as robbers of his bank!

Four comics have no success as their comical shows in slums or market are failures. One of them knows famous and rich comic Lor Tok and thinks to ask him to be their teacher (ครูบาอาจารย์). During one TV show, Lor Tok sees a young beautiful lady called Kloi (Nipaporn Nongnuch) singing a song related to old men attractiveness. He wants to know more about her. Lor Tok wishes to be her sponsor (ผู้อุปการะ) to help her to become famous. Lor Tok has become a capricious star (ดาราดังมาก, ลืมตัว, สร้างบารมี) believing his fame can allow him all excesses. Lor Tok rejects the four comics’ request to be their teacher and mentor. He has a wife and daughter already. His wife is unhappy as he changed a lot since being a star. Lor Tok wishes to drop everything for Kloi and promises house, car, career to her but she is afraid. His wife, fed up, considers to quit him (เลิก). Lor Tok has only Kloi in mind and refuses all movie, interview or show proposals as they are too low for a superstar like him. So he starts to alienate people around him. Lor Tok has no gratitude (ไม่มีกตัญญู) for show owners who helped him before when he was not famous (ไม่มีวันดับ). Following heavy drinking, Lor Tok has a car accident with Kloi. Lor Tok's wife flees away. His manager has to sell the house and two cars to cover the hospital expenses. He now lives with his daughter in a rented small bungalow. He keeps indulging in alcohol and had often serious pains in the chest. Finally without money, Lor Tok stops drinking and looks for show representations to pay for his daughter school fees. Nowadays people like comic groups and not anymore individual comic so he has no more success. The four guys are now a famous comic troupe in Thailand. His daughter is back with her mother. Finally Lor Tok accepts to play as a team with the four guys he denigrated before. He succeeds to regain fame (เป็นอาจารย์) and during a singing contest, Lor Tok sings a touching song regarding his life errors. At the end of the song, he dies following heart attack. On his cremation day, all his former friends including Kloi pay sincere homage to him.

Thai movie พรายกินรี (The Tiger Devil) was released in year 1976 and lasts 1h35mn. The movie is certainly cut as it is only available from cable TV programmes. Malee (Malee Wetpraseri) and Kinaree (Naiyana Shewanan) are travelling together after leaving a Christian community. They are aggressed on the way to their village by two men including Manop Aussawathep. They step back when understanding that Kinaree, who was fighting strongly, is a lady (นางฟ้า). Pipop Pupinyo, the village leader, remembers that many years he wanted to burn Kinaree as she was accused to be a tiger devil spirit. A monk stopped the burning and gave a sacred necklace to prevent Kinaree to become a spirit again (เวรกรรมของหลาน). She has to keep until being 20 years old. Kinaree and her grandmother were expelled from the village but are now back. One young villager tries to abuse Kinaree while she is bathing in the waterfall. When angry, she becomes the tiger devil spirit again and kills the villager. The grandmother Malee falls and gets injured. Per Kinaree's request, Manop searches for a doctor. Doctor Sombat Methanee then checks Malee but she finally dies. Pipop, afraid of Kinaree, leads the villagers to burn her again. The doctor decides to bring Kinaree in Bangkok but faces Manop, who is jealous. The doctor and Kinaree succeed to flee Manop and the angry crowd. They are back to Bangkok. New characters are present in the doctor's home, Chosri Misommon as domestic helper, Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit as mother, Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej as his fiancee Dao (ปากเสียใหญ่), friends such as Chom (Duangjai Hathaikarn) and Chatree (Adul Dulyarat). She is used in the kitchen but is useless (เด็กเวร). Dao has a lover (เล่นชู) called Chai (อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์). There is a ballroom event. Dao tries to humiliate Kinaree (ชาวป่า) during the ball but to no avail. She hires the car driver to hurt Kinaree but she becomes a tiger devil spirit (ผีเสือ) again and kills him. Today is Kinaree’s birthday. Dao aware that Kinaree could be a spirit is willing to challenge her. She removes her necklace and slaps her. Horror happens with Chai is killed and Dao injured by the tiger devil spirit. Police shots the spirit a few minutes before Kinaree's 20th birthday. Kinaree becomes a full human but dies due to her injuries in the doctor's arms. Another version of Kinaree was released in year 1969 (กินรี) with Sombat and Suthisa. In this older version, Kinaree doesn't die.

Oon’s mother is played by Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng. It seems there is no more father. Grandmother Malee Wetpraseri is the elder sister of the mother. Oon’s uncle is played by Tat Ekathat. Oon has to be engaged. She wishes to marry Pong (Sayan Chantaraviboon) and is supported by his sister Pleun (Metta Roongrat). Chui keeps disrupting Oon and Pong. Chui has also a fiancee called Kwan since a long time but he doesn't love her. Malee and Chosri are sent to Aunt's home to investigate who is really Chui. Aunt Sulaleewan Suwanthat welcome them. Chui and Ratchin are same person. Oon shall marry Ratchin, who is from a high status family. Oon lies she is no more pure (เสียหาย) as she is Pong’s girlfriend. Ratchin refuses to cancel the wedding and forbids Oon to meet Pong anymore. Engagement (คู่หมั้น) shall happen. Malee is helping Oon to meet Pong. Pong wishes to flee with Oon but Oon cannot do this as it would bring disgrace to her parents and her family name (เกียรติ). As Pong loves really Oon, he has to sacrifice himself (เสียสละ). Chui / Ratchin is aware of Malee’s stratagems. Prachuap meets Pong. Ratchin prevents Oon to meet Pong and wishes to accelerate the wedding. Ratchin asks Pong to stop seeing Oon but Pong asks to meet her a last time. Ratchin still believes Oon is pure and wants to avoid Pong being the first. Oon and Ratchin keep fighting. Finally Oon succeeds to escape from Ratchin. She meets Pong but faints. Pong tries to abuse her but gets stopped on time by Ratchin. Pong's intentions were not as pure as he always mentioned. Oon finally marries with Ratchin. This movie similar to many movies from decades 1960s~1970s is about arranged weddings and early engagement done by parents but it finally ends happily.

ถนนนี้ชั่ว is a thai movie released in year 1975. It is a social drama movie. Only 1h31mn is left so unfortunately not the movie full length. This movie was never released officially on VHS, DVD or VCD. Young kids face bad example (ถนนแห่งความชั่ว) shown by their parents featuring a drunkard father and absent mother. The children are the one to suffer the consequences (ผู้รับกรรม). Finally the mother quits the whole family. The grandmother (Malee Wetpraseri) then educates all the children, Oon (Tasawan Saneewong), Oi (Tanyarat Lohanan) and Inn. Oon has promised to buy a watch to Oi but the grandmother refuses as her salary of 800 baht for the whole family is already small. The neighbour (Lor Tok) likes Oi very much and keeps peeping. The three daughters finally find back their mother. The mother is now rich (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit). Oi wishes to open a beauty saloon but needs to study first. Arguments happen between Oi’s mother (แม่ดอกทอง) and Oi’s grandmother. High society (สังคมผู้ดี) takes advantage of poor people. Finally her mum convinces her to meet Sawin for his birthday. Oon is upset with her mum (ไม่เสียหายอะไร). The mother has modern conception of life and society (พ่อไม่เคยขายลูก). Oon asks to meet Ratapong as he was the first one to go with Oi. She finally starts to work in his company. Inn leaves home. Noi is pregnant with the grandfather. Wishing to rescue her sister, Oon is finally kidnapped with Oi. To avoid Banchup hurting Oon, Oi accepts to go again to Cha Am to meet Sawin. Oon finally succeeds to escape and warns Ratapong. Ratapong storms Sawin's home. Fightings happen with Banchup and his thugs. Oon shots Banchup to protect Ratapong and Sawin to revenge her sister Oi. Oon ends up in jail. Ratapong promises to Oon to marry Oi. The mother is devastated (แม่เสียใจ) and the only thing she can do is to give love (ต้องการความรัก) to her remaining children. Things she hasn’t done before. This movie is a strong critic over old rich men that can afford young poor ladies in hotels.

Mom Pa is waiting for her lost son, Kinarin, who had gone to study abroad and didn't send any news for years. Many years passed and she is getting severely sick. To please her and to speed up her recovery, Metta announces that her son is coming back very soon so she has to organize an event (งานต้อนรับ). The father (Thuam Thoranong) and Metta Roongrat have idea to find a man with a similar face in order to please Mom Pa. He has to learn with moult difficulty good manners from high society (สังคมผู้ดี). Cheui disappears the day before as being caught by a former girlfriend. Seeing her son again, Mom Pa recovers. Mom Pa wishes her son to marry Kantima (Wandee Sritrang). Kantima is upset with Cheui as he is playing too well his role and she refuses to sacrifice herself as she is part of those who paid to hire Cheui. She knows he is coming from a low background (คนจร) so he should behave and not try to abuse about his position of being the fiancé. Real Kinarin (also played by Sombat Methanee) is back but he lost his arm due to airplane accident. Cheui’s self declared girlfriend tries to bring a mess but it fails. Cheui is back home as his seven days contract is over. Kinarin, seeing that his mum is happy and Kantima loving Cheui, decides to go back to England to let others having happiness. The rich family still needs Cheui so they use his mother Malee Wetpraseri to convince him again. Kinarin will go back to England and needs Cheui to replace him. Metta is going to England with Kinarin (ท่านพี่). Finally Cheui and Kantima marry. In this romantic comedy movie actor, Sombat Methanee is playing two roles, i.e. Cheui and Kinarin.

They are living in a Northern village specialised in making traditional colorful umbrellas. Mem (Malee Wetpraseri) recommends Dao Lin to a Bangkokian lady for a job in Bangkok (เสริมสวย). Dao Lin accepts as she needs money to cure her father's eyes. The second daughter is played by Tasawan Saneewong, who is acting for the first time. No further study for her as they are too poor. In Bangkok, Dao Lin realises the job is in fact acting as a prostitute (โสเภณี / ฉันไม่ใช่สินค้า). Dao Lin cannot send news. She ends up in pregnancy and succeeds to flee the brothel (กลุ่มนรก). She delivers a baby, who is unfortunately disabled. The hospital doctor (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) finds her a job as a model (นางแบบ) but she needs to hide her baby (สังคมทุกวันนี้จำเป็นต้องสวมหน้ากากเข้าหากัน). She gives her baby to her sister lying it is a friend's baby. Dao Lin meets Songpon (Sombat Methanee) in Penang. They finally get engaged (หมัน). Dao Lin discovers that the doctor is Sombat's brother but he promises to disclose nothing. She forgets her family so her father decides to come to Bangkok with her sister Chaeung and disabled son to find Dao Lin. Ten (Metta Roongrat) becomes Chaeung's friend in Bangkok. Chaeung recognises her sister on TV. When meeting together, Dao Lin is ashamed (ลืมตัว) as she doesn't want anybody to know her poor background so she chases away her younger sister. Disappointed, Chaeung runs away and is hit by a car. She is cured by the same doctor, who cured her elder sister. Having pity on her, the doctor recruits her as domestic helper. Dao Lin is surprised to see Chaeung in the doctor's house and asks her not to reveal their family links until she is married with Songpon. Pi (Sahat Piempongsan) is having an affair with Songpon’s mother. He always asks for money. They all go to Southern island to help poor children. Songpon's brother called Songyut lives there and takes care of the family domain. Songyut falls in love with Chaeung. Songpon also loves Chaeung but just got engaged with her sister... The mother asks Songyut to stop seeing her as she is a poor girl. Chaeung is kidnapped per the mother's orders. Ten asks Songyut for help. A boat chase is happening in Phuket near the James Bond island. Pi, wishing to get the family domain, shots Songyut through a long range gun but falls from the cliff and dies. The mother is horrified and crossed against Chaeung (เด็กเวร) but she is indirectly responsible of her lover’s acts. Meanwhile Dao Lin warns Songpon who finally rescues Chaeung after an impressive car chase. Songyut’s mother asks Dao Lin to get rid of Chaeung as she takes her as responsible of her son’s death. Dao Lin accepts. Chaeung hears this conversion and arguments happen between the two sisters. Dao Lin’s father hears his two daughters arguing and now is aware that Chaeung hides the reality about Dao Lin forgetting her own family. Chaeung, the father and the disabled son leave for Mae Sai. Da Lin follows them there but her father is already dead. He got suicide because of disappointment with his daughter. Songpon is here also blaming Dao Lin not to have told him the truth about her background as he is comprehensive and it would have saved her father’s life. Nobody in the village wishes to talk to Dao Lin. To pay respect to her father a last time, she performs the traditional spade dance and finally cuts her throat during the dance. She entrusts Chaeung and her son to Songpon. It is a sad family drama with a rich mother causing her son’s death and a poor daughter causing her father’s death. Lit needs to get back the pearl necklace also as Op mentions his lost daughter had such necklace. So he needs to verify if Taeng is the lost daughter or not. Chom is helping by giving money to Lit. Lit buys the necklace back from the Chinese usurier Kokheng. Finally Taeng is reunited with her family thanks to Lit. Later on, Taeng visits Lit in his house. Taeng is then singing with Lit in his house. Thanks to a sign on his chest, Lit is also identified as the lost son of Somkuan. The movie can end up happily. A movie with same name was released in year 1984 but the story is different.

The mother finally realises everybody lied to her. Wan Pen decides to leave this crazy house (ดูถูก) and goes back to her home in Sukhothai. Soi is still pushing Mitr to marry but he is still pushing back. Soi and her mother (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) prepare a bad plan against Mitr. Aware, Wan Pen and Kwan inform him. Shootings happen during a concert. The kidnapping foils as Thai police shoot the ruffians. Mitr is now aware that Wan Pen helped him as she was worried and concerned. Seua Pon kidnaps Wan Pen and uses her as a bait to shoot Mitr. Seua Pon doesn't shoot after hearing her name. Seua Pon and Mitr have a final duel. Knowing that Mitr is injured at the hand, he has no chance against Seua Pon so Wan Pen shoots him with a rifle. Realising she killed her own father, Wan Pen feels bad and flees. Kwan acknowledges he was the one to shoot Seua Pon as both him and Wan Pen shot at same time. Mitr doesn't arrest Kwan as Seua Pon was a bad man. The movie ends up with a romance between Mitr and Wan Pen.

E-tan, Tam (Sompol Kongsuwan) and Mien have to leave. Mien goes back to her hometown to work and to send money. Being sick, she is cheated and no money reaches E-tan and Tam. So E-tan decides to quit school in order to work. She tries to find a job as domestic helper in a rich house. But she gets issues with the owner accusing her to have stolen her necklace. She is a fighting with the daughter called Supatra. E-tan meets Phaka (Chadaporn Wachirapranee). She is a mamasan but E-tan is not aware. Tam is the old boyfriend of the mamasan Phaka so he sells E-tan for 5000 baht. Thuam Thoranong, as a customer, is severely beaten with E-Tan. Mien is back and threatens to kill Tam if E-tan is not back within seven days. As the grandfather is getting old and sick but refusing to transfer his heritage to his younger new wife, Nipon has the idea to find a 19 years old girl to pretend being the lost granddaughter. He hires E-tan from Pakha without knowing that E-tan is the real granddaughter! She is recognised by the grandfather thanks to the scar. Rungroj is engaged with Supatra (Yaowaret Nisakorn) but he doesn't love her. He thinks about the young lady beggar but doesn't realise that she is the same lady as the new granddaughter. Supatra is jealous as Rungroj spends a lot of time with E-tan as the grandfather asks him to be a teacher for her. Aware that Nipon and the mother plan to kill them once heritage has been transferred to her, E-Tan prepares a plan with her friends from the slum. A social event is organized to present E-Tan to Thai society as the official lost daughter. Nipon prepares poison for the grandfather. Mien is wishing to announce the bad plans of the new wife and Nipon but she is is killed before by Nipon. Upset by Mien’s death, E-Tan shots him with a gun without knowing that he is already dead having drunk the poison by mistake. E-Tan is accused of murder by the new wife and is sent to jail. Rungroj is the lawyer for E-tan. Tam, recognizing that E-Tan has always been good with him, relates the real story to the judge and E-Tan is spared from prison. She then can marry with Rungroj.

The image picture is still very colorful. Nawin (Sombat Methanee) and Khon (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) visit a village administrated by village leader Sukon Koewliam. Pong (Daonoi Duangjai) is their friend. Nawin, learning how to ride a bicycle, makes young lady Khangpu (Suthisa Putnuch) falling. ChangDee (Metta Roongrat) is her elder sister. Pratheuan understands she has a risk to lose Narin so she tries to entice him. Narin's mother is also aware that he is dating a ghost so she decides to accelerate the wedding date. It shall happen within three days. His father has a brain hemorrhage and before dying, he asks Narin to help regarding his second family. As the father gives everything to his mistress in the testament (พินัยกรรม), Noi frightens the mistress Vilai (Manee Maneewan) so that she agrees to burn it in order to have a more equitable testament. Seup (Sombat Methanee) and his friend Kom disguised as a fake Indian are doing illegal medium activities. As Kom and Seup have misbehaved, they need to accept a mission proposed by the Police. Old Lady Ying (หม่อมหญิง) needs to be protected. Lady Ying (Malee Wetpraseri) hates men so Kom and Seup have to wear female clothes and act as katoeys (กะเทย). Lady Ying always tries to convince her 2 nieces Rung (Petchara Chaowarat) and Kan (Metta Roongrat) to avoid meeting men. Rung and Kan are working in lady Ying's company but notices that the finance manager is cheating. Rung requests 700 000 baht. The manager asks some thugs for support in order to rob them. As Kom and Seup are travelling with Rung and Kan, they are able to punch back the ruffians. Chompoo (Kaenjai Meenakanit) also arrives in Mom's house looking for a job. She has to stay in the same room as Kom and Seup. It is difficult for Kom and Seup to remain insensible to Chompoo's attractiveness. They are all going to the beach. Many comic situations happen as some old men (Sukon Koewliam) want to try to seduce Kom and Seup. Rung and Kan are missing love as the grandmother hates men. Seup takes profit to be closer to Rung. Chompoo helps to kidnap the grandmother and asks for 500 000 baht ransom. Rung and her friends bring the ransom but then are also captured. Kom called the police before to warn them about the location. It seems that Choompu has been mislead. During the fight with ruffians, fake hair falls so Seup's real male identity is disclosed. Seup is actually an undercover police captain (ผู้กอง)! Three weddings including the three female characters can then happily happen! The story summary is still available thanks to some old Thai star magazines from 1960s era. The story takes place in Thonburi among a poor family. The parents are teacher Boonmee (เชาว์) and his wife Somchai paddling boats. The couple is having four children, i.e. Suwat (Anucha Ratanaman), Pattara (Pissamai Wilaisak), Pacheun (ขวัญใจ) and Rinarom. The grandmother (Malee Wetpraseri) is helping to take care of the young kids. Suwat doesn’t help his family for anything and is looked after by a rich lady (Chadaporn Wachirapranee). Despite being a teacher, Boonmee doesn’t earn enough money to sustain the family. Pattara has to study during the day and work at nighttime to help her mum. The grandmother is doing flower garlands for Rinarom to sell. Despite being poor, the parents want Pattara to study high and become a teacher also. It seems the rent increases or the owner wants to sell so teacher Boonmee needs a big amount of money. Chaithep (Mitr Chaibancha) is the son of an university professor, who is also teaching Pattara. As Rinarom is having problems, Chaithep gives a hand and meets Pattara. Chaithep wishes to write a story about poor people life so gets inspiration from Pattara and Rinarom lives. A fire happens in Pattara’s house. Boonmee and Rinarom die. For the remaining family members, only the boats become their shelter. Chaithep wins a prize. Wishing to find Pattara to announce the good news, he learns about the recent tragic event. Meanwhile ruffians try to bring Pattara and Pacheun to a turkey bath parlor. Chaithep arrives on time but Pacheun gets shot and dies. After so many tragic events, Pattara can finally find happiness with Chaitep.

ปูจ๋า or Pu Ja is a 1967 Thai movie directed by Dokdin Kanyaman. 47 minutes only are left. Normally Thai 16mm movies from decade 1960s used to be made of 4 to 5 reels. One reel lasts around 40 minutes. There is no sound available for this movie as 16mm movies are always dubbed. So understanding the whole movie is quite difficult. Petchara Chaowarat (ปู) is a young lady. Her close friends are Dokdin Kanyaman and Orasa Isarangkul. Sawin Sawangrat, Petchara’s father, is a fisherman. Petchara and Dokdin are caught in a military exercise including a beach landing. They meet Mitr Chaibancha, who is an officer. Petchara and Mitr appreciate each other. Mitr rescues a young lady who is about to be drowned. Later on Mitr and his friend Adul mingle (จู๋จี๋) with those two ladies (Chadaporn Wachirapranee and another veteran actress). Petchara, aware of this, is disappointed by Mitr. Petchara’s blind grandmother is played by veteran actress Malee Wetpraseri. It is Petchara’s birthday. Adul changes the content of a gift offered by Mitr. It is a trick to spoil love between Mitr and Petchara as it starts to emerge. He then offers a proper gift to Petchara. Sawin prevents both of them to fight and asks Petchara to go back home. It seems that Chadaporn is unhappy with Sawin and asks him to push Petchara away from Mitr. Following a fishing trip, Sawin falls in the sea during a storm. Petchara and Dokdin need to find a job and then work as coolie in a construction site. Police officer Adul looks for them as it is found that Petchara is a descendant of a rich family. Sawin isn't dead. it seems he will cause issue to Petchara but love with Mitr will of course succeed. In this 1967 period, Petchara Chaowarat had short haircut. As usual with Dokdin Kanyaman’s movies, there is humour, action, romance and good feelings (happy ending).

Maew (Petchara Chaowarat) is orphan (เด็กกำพร้า). Beum (Daonoi Duangjai) is her close friend. Doctor Yot Kwan (Adul Dulyarat) wishes to become the father of Maew (อุปกรณ์เลีืยงลูก). The doctor's mother (Malee Wetpraseri) also agrees. The doctor suspects that Maew is his own daughter with another woman called Amon. Mom Chan Phuangwan and Sukon Koewliam are domestic helpers in the doctor's house. They are playing relief comic characters. Preeya Roongrueng (แม่ใหม่) is now married to the doctor. She has a son called Pongsak (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and a daughter called Pla (Metta Roongrat). Kachen (Mitr Chaibancha), taxi driver being aggressed, is helped by Maew and Beum. Maew and Beum are not welcomed by Pla and her mother. The woman called Amon (Kingdao Daranee) is forced by ruffians. In front of the doctor, Preeya and Pla are polite but behind his back, they try everything to chase Maew and Beum from the house. Doctor Yot Kwan sees Amon in a taxi driven by Kachen. The doctor tries to prevent Amon to be beaten by her pimp called Mek. He gets some help from Kachen, who is then slightly injured. Thanks to his kindness, Kachen is authorized to come to the doctor's house whenever he wishes (ยินดีรันใช้). Pla and her mother continue to be hypocrites (หมั่นไส้ / ตอแหล) in front of the doctor and the grandmother. Saranee (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) uses Sarayut (Ruj Ronnapop) to seduce Pla. Somkuan Krajangsat is a policeman. The mother and daughter try to tease (แกล้ง) Maew by hiding jewelry under her bed. Phi Mek is close friend with Chadaporn. Their plan is to take pictures of Pla and Ruj in compromising situation and ask for money. Amon warns Maew. Amon warns also Pla but it is almost too late for Pla. Luckily Kachen arrives on time as Amon called the police. Kachen is a relative of Somkuan. Finally Amon dies in the arm of Maew as she refused to get any help believing she is bad person (ชั่ว). Preeya and Pla apologise for their behavior. The movie แมวเหมียว lasts 2h07mn.

Meuang Den (Mitr Chaibancha) and Pong (Sompong Phonmitr) stop at Kaew's shop to eat. Meuang Den has arguments with one local ruffian. He promises to come again. Pot, a rich man renting land to Mae Wanta, asks her to arrange for Kaew to stay at his home in Bangkok. He wants her as a minor wife. Kaew helps Meuang Den being injured by a ruffian. Priya (Preeya Roongrueng), wishing to trick her half-sister, sends her to Ming, a ruffian, who tries to abuse her. Hopefully Meuang Den helps her but finally she has to stab Ming as he was strangling Meuang Den. They have to flee. Kaew takes refuge in a family (Lor Tok, Somjit Sapsamruey), living on a boat and selling noodle soup. She meets Meuang Den and Sompong, who are living in a rich house. They have to simulate being gays as their aunt Malee (Malee Wetpraseri) wanted girls. Meuang Den proposes to Kaew's family to stay in a house he is not using. Lor Tok is not willing as he is concerned Meuang Den just wants to seduce Kaew. While leaving, they face a storm. Lor Tok and his wife fall in the water and drown. Meuang Den / Khun Num rescues Kaew on time. Khun Num asks Kaew to stay as domestic helper with a family he knows well, i.e. Kham Thong, Kham Ngeun and her boyfriend Peter. Khun Num doesn't want to disclose his relationship with Kaew to his aunt Malee. The family leaves for Penang. Kaew stays behind to look after the house. In another house, domestic helpers Sukhon and Thongha look after a young lady called Chao Nok. Kaew and Chao Nok meet. They have the same face. They exchange roles to meet Khun Num as Chao Nok wishes to see Bangkok before leaving for Chiang Mai. Nareng (Sawin Sawangrat) shall bring Chao Nok to meet her disabled mother in Chiang Mai. Nareng plans to transfer the will to him. Nareng kidnaps Kaew as he is unaware that Kaew and Chao Nok exchanged roles. Young man Dio tries to help her but to no avail. The rich family is back from Penang. Chao Nok, upset at being treated as a low domestic helper, makes a big fuss with the family and flees to Khun Num's aunt. The two ladies, Chao Nok and Kaew, are lost twins per the will. Aware that Kaew was kidnapped, Khun Num has to go to Chiang Mai to help her. Nareng threatens Kaew to provide the will and to sign it but Kaew cannot as she is not Chao Nok. It makes Nareng very upset. Nareng abused the mother (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit) by lying to her. The mother and her daughter Kaew are reunited. Khun Num and Dio storm the house, where the mother and Kaew are held captive. The mother interposes while Nareng tries to stab Kaew. She gets stabbed instead. Before dying, she stabs Nareng. The two sisters are reunited. Two couples are formed. Khun Num and Kaew, Dio and Chao Nok.

Movie Operation Bangkok / เพชรตัดเพชร was released in year 1966 and lasts 1h50mn. It is a HK Thai co production managed by three film directors including Wichit Khunawut. Mitr Chaibancha meets Yot (Luechai Natnat). An exchange of suitcases happens over a bridge. Adinan Singhiran is Yot’s acolyte. Yot betrays Mitr and tries to keep the two suitcases. Shooting happens and Yot flees. Choomporn Theppitak is part of a gang led by Kecha Plianvithee. Yot belongs to the same gang also. Luechai arrives in Hong Kong. He meets Adul Dulyarat on a boat to exchange drugs against money. The drug is fake and he steals the money by punching Adul. He flees to Bangkok and escapes to Choomporn, who tries to shoot him with a long range rifle. Yot has betrayed (ทรยศ) Kecha. Yot meets singer Pai Lu (Hong Kong actress Regina Pai Ping) in the plane and sympathizes. Mitr disguises himself as Chat, a tough ruffian, to infiltrate Kecha’s gang. Chadaporn Wachirapranee is Chat’s old wife so he punches Sompol Kongsuwan to show he is back. Chao Klaewklong introduces Chat to Kecha. Kecha is looking for a new right-hand man (แขนขวาคนใหม่) as Yot betrayed him. Kecha wishes Chat to get rid of Yot. Ratsamee (Petchara Chaowarat) loves Yot but Yot also loves Pai Lu, who is in fact an undercover policewoman from Hong Kong. Ratsamee warns Yot that Adul is around looking for him. Pai Lu and Ratsamee escape from Adul but get arrested by policeman Lor Tok, who ignore they are from Interpol Police (ตำรวจสากล). A painting called เพชรตัดเพชร is purchased by Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit bidding against Kecha. Miss Boran (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is the sexy painter. Adul wishes to buy the jewel hidden in the painting but this one is now always worn by Miss Boran. The jewel contains a password (รหัด). Choomporn kills Miss Boran to get the jewel but Yot and his team steal it from him also. Pai Lu is surnamed HK 16. Mitr is surnamed BKK 38 (ตำรวจไทยเจ้าชู้อย่างนี้ทุกคนหรือค่ะ?). Mitr helps Pai Lu chased by two ruffians including Choomporn. Chat brings Pai Lu himself to Kecha. Understanding that she is an enemy (ศัตรู), she is condemned to be shot by Choomporn but Chat succeeds to charge the gun with blank bullets. Yot falls in a trap prepared by Adul to steal the diamond but it fails and Adul dies. Yot wishes to make peace with Kecha. Kecha wants only one right-arm man so both Chat and Yot have to fight against each other. Pai Lu and Petchara ask them to stop fighting. They are all captured by Kecha. Part of the movie is then lost here. Wilaiwan shots Ratsamee. Hopefully Pai Lu shots Wilaiwan and can help Ratsamee on time. Thai police attack the ruffians. All are killed or captured but Kecha succeeds to flee. Kecha refuses to surrender to the Thai police and prefers to explode his boat. The movie ends up on a sad note as Pai Lu has to leave Chat to go back back to Hong Kong, Ratsamee is separated from Yot as he has to go to jail. This movie is still available in Hong Kong under title 諜海蛟龍 and was shown on cable TV. The famous song of this movie is ดวงใจ by singer สวลี ผกาพันธุ์. This movie is one of the best confrontations between Thai superstars Mitr Chaibancha and Luechai Natnat. As it is a HK Thai co production, it is interesting to find that the Chinese version poster features Chinese actress Regina Pai Ping’s head in big size. Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat are displayed in small size. But the Thai poster displays more prominently Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat. In the Chinese synopsis, Mitr Chaibancha is written as mi-tsai- wan-chai (Thai detective No 78) and called as Ah Tsai in the movie. Regina Pai Ping (Hong Kong agent No 113) is called as Pai Lu in the movie. Petchara Chaowarat is written as Pi-chai-la and called as Sha Mei in the movie. The movie was so famous that it was released once in year 1966 and then reshown again in year 1975. The original version lasts 2h20mn but the 1975 version was reduced to less than 2 hours as both movies เพชรตัดเพชร and คนเหนือคน were shown together. The DVD released by company Pantamit is based on the 1975 version. It took five years for company Pantamit to convince the film owner to lend it in order to make a digital copy. Another film copy remains in the Thai Film archives.

The movie summary is still available thanks to old Thai movies magazines. Mitr and Petchara love each other. Petchara gets pregnant. As a soldier, Mitr needs to go to fight in South Korea. No news from him are received anymore. Petchara gives birth to a daughter. She marries again believing Mitr is dead. Mitr is not dead but he is now a poor soldier disabled with part of his leg lost. Malee Wetpraseri, mother of Petchara, believes he is a dirty beggar and chases him away. It is a sad story. The movie entered Thai oscars competition on that year also. The 20 seconds sequence is the scene with Petchara wearing a red dress, Mitr as a beggar and grandmother Malee trying to chase him away.

The tragic romance 鱷魚河 - "Crocodile River" is a Shaw Brothers movie filmed in Thailand. Thainess is present through traditional dance (รำวง) in the village, Thai boxing match and master honorific dance (ครู), floating market, Tuk Tuk ride through Bangkok including Wat Phra Kaew and Grand Palace, Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, Bangkok zoo, democracy monument, Wat Pho and even the royal barges on Chao Praya river, Wat Arun, Pattaya beach, Loy Krathong festival. Crocodile River movie features Romeo And Juliet-flavored story. Families are against each other. Yodi (Paul Chang Chung) is the Romeo and Lee Ting is his Juliet. The two students love each other from across a river that is filled with crocodiles. Families are living on opposite sides of the river. Hidden secrets between both families cause fights to happen. Yodi’s parents try to push him to another girl but he is not interested. The girl tries to get his interest by using her sexy shapes but it is enough. Yodi swims across the river to be reunited with Lee Ting. Following a fight between Yodi and Lee Ting's brother (Man Teeraphol), Lee Ting cannot leave the house and her father removes all her clothes to ensure she doesn't going out naked. The girl's father uses saboteurs on his neighbors' property and they put fire in a barn. Finally Lee Tin flees from her house and swims across the river. Yodi helps her as crocodiles are converging towards her. But it is too late for both of them. Their death makes the two clans to pacify. Lee Tin’s brother seems to be Yodi's father hidden son. This Shaw Brothers movie is a remake of Thai movie "จำปูน" (1964) featuring Man Teeraphol, Sor Asanajinda, Taksin Jampol, Somjit Sapsamruey, Tat Ekathat...

Pla Boo Tong (ปลาบู่ทอง) movie with Chaiya Suriyun and Pawana Chanajit was released in year 1965. The movie is lost in Thailand but a short extract was found in year 2013 thanks to a ThaiCine fan. The extract has still a colorful image and is only three minutes left. Other actors are Daonoi Duangjai, Preeya Roongrueng, Sukon Koewliam, Malee Wetpraseri, Somkuan Krajangsat, Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit and Sulaleewan Suwanthat (ป้า สุลาลีวัลย์ สุวรรณทัต) as a witch. The short extract shows a "kuman thong" child, the mother spirit imprisoned in a bird and Chaiya Suriyun and Pawana Chanajit together. Old still pictures of this last sequence can still be found. This story has been played many times through TV series and through movies (1965, 1972 from TV to cinema, 1979 with Lalana Sulawan, 1984 with Suriya, 1994). Certainly there is a need to find a more recent version in order to better understand this three minutes old trailer. In the past, such movies needed four people to perform the dubbing.

Thai movie อ้อมอกดิน was released in year 1965. The DVD lasts 2h12mn. It features a sharp and very colorful image. A father is having financial debts. The father (Somkuan Krajangsat) has three kids (Oum, Ann, Oi) and his wife is sick. The father disappears while trying catching fish in the sea. The mother dies. A debtor claims back his money and seizes the house (บ้านถูกรื้อ). So local teacher (Lor Tok) takes the three children (เด็กกำพร้า) in his house. The teacher's wife uses them as her small slaves. Malee (Malee Wetpraseri) from Bangkok claims she wants to raise children so buys Oum and Ann from the teacher. She in fact uses them as street beggars. They flee and take refuge in a neighbouring house where the owner (Somjit Sapsamruey) and the domestic helper (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) receive them (เมตตา) despite opposition of the husband. The mother also brings the younger daughter to join them. 20 years passed. Oum is Mitr Chaibancha. Petchara Chaowarat is a doctor. Oum is still hoping his real father is alive. Ann likes parties (ไปเที่ยว) and meets bad people such as Krai and Kanya wishing to take advantage of rich people. Oi has a bad mindset and everything shall be due to her (ทำใจ). Oum is the only child working hard and helping the father in his company. The real father is back after 20 years passed in prison. He meets the local teacher. The teacher recommends not to disclose his real identity in order not to destroy the children's happiness. The father still wants to see his children. In Bangkok, while spying the house where the children live, he is mistaken as a beggar and mistreated by his own daughter. Only Oum has kindness for him. The stepfather welcomes him as gardener as he is nowhere to go. Ann is framed by Krai with Kanya in order to force a wedding. Krai and Kanya frames another man, Chai, who is Chadaporn's boyfriend. Chadaporn (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) and Krai are part of the same dishonest group of people. Oi chases her own father as he tries to prevent her seeing Chai. Oum hears the gardener praying so now knows he is his own real father. The real father tells Oum not to disclose his identity. Oum and the doctor shall marry. The doctor's father is the debtor, who took their home twenty years ago. Oum flees during the engagement ceremony. Ann tries to get big amount money from his mother but she refuses as no explanation is given by Ann. So Ann disappears. Oum is still upset and chases the doctor and her brother from his home. He slaps Oi lacking respect to the gardener, her own father. Seeing that issues between his children happen since he hired the gardener uncle Tam, the stepfather fires him. Uncle Tam helps Oi aggressed by Krai. Krai tries to steal money from the doctor's father by involving Ann. Shootings happen and Tam gets injured by protecting the doctor's father. The doctor saves his life. Seeing his children happy with the current family, Tam decides to ordain as a monk.

A coin is discovered in a paper. Adul is meeting Ruj for the first time and animosity can be felt. Ruffians are seen on a boat. Ruffians are attacking a house but they get pushed back by inhabitants. Koh heng, Chana Sriubon are having a heated discussion with two other men and a lady in a bar. Misunderstanding and fighting happen. A brawl occurs in the bar. Ruj, Prachuap, Sompong and mariners storm the ruffians’ place. Chana is talking to a lady (รสริน วิลาวัลย์) over the phone and then he is picking her up by car. A sequence is showing a house near the sea and people are having fun in a swimming pool. Adul is seen in discussion with another gentleman. Chana is talking with รสริน วิลาวัลย์. Sombat Methanee, main actor, is unfortunately not seen in any of the remaining sequences. The movie is mixing romance and action. The movie poster was drawn by Piak Poster (เปี๊ยกโปสเตอร์).

The movie name "ภูตพิศวาส" means "ghost love". Three young men students with suitcases are looking for a place to sleep. One of them is called Marut. They stay in a temple but the temple keeper asks them not to open door or windows at night time or go out if somebody calls them. Marut doesn't listen and sees a beautiful lady. In the morning one of the three students is found dead. There is two holes in the arm as if somebody sucked his blood (ผีดิบ). The next night sounds of a lady crying can be heard. Then in the morning the second friend is found dead also. According to the temple keeper, they die because of lying and unfaithful behavior with ladies. The temple keeper is a sorcerer (หมอผี) also. Marut meets Dao (Petchara Chaowarat), who is a ghost. A love story happens between human and ghost. Marut's mother wants to fiance him with a young lady called Buma (Preeya Roongrueng) coming from a rich family. The fiancee Buma is invasive and strongly encourages Marut to kiss her. Marut presents Dao, the ghost, to her mother, who faints when understanding that Dao is a ghost. Lor Tok plays an exorcist master (อาจารย์) again. The grandmother uses him to chase the ghost. Buma supports the idea. Marut wants to bring Dao back to life (เกิดใหม่) but other ghosts try to prevent this. Marut needs to pray every night one hour during 20 days, eat vegetarian (กินเจ), drop blood drops inside the food offered to Dao. Evil ghosts prevent Marut to free Dao but the temple keeper provides support. 20 days have passed. The temple keeper does a ceremony. Dao is now an human (เป็นคน). Issue with Buma arises. Following the kiss, she complains she is soiled (ตัวเสีย) as she wants to accelerate wedding date. The wedding happens but on the night before the wedding Dao becomes Marut's real wife. Buma wants to secure Marut's love by using magic spells so she contacts again the exorcist master. This one provides love filter (น้ำมันพราย). Buma wants to chase Dao. Marut accepts as Buma uses charm filter (ถูกเสน่ห์). Finally as Dao is pregnant with Marut and being already Marut's wife, Buma has to retreat and is finally arrested by police for colluding against Dao. This old movie has an image damaged but still colorful. It also has a new soundtrack as many 1960s movies were shot in 16mm without synchronised sound. It is a pleasure to watch Thai stars Chaiya Suriyun and legendary Petchara Chaowarat. Chaiya Suriyun received a Thai oscar (รางวัลตุ๊กตาทอง) for his best actor performance.

Thai movie จำเลยรัก was released in year 1963. This movie features Mitr Chaibancha as main actor and Pissamai Wilaisak as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand but a succession of sequences lasting one hour and 20 minutes is left to be seen. It is remaining out take sequences session (หลุด). The remaining film was dubbed and shown in Thai Film Archives in year 2017. Another version of จำเลยรัก was released in year 1978 through a DVD still available. It features Phairoj Sangwaribut and Naowarat Yooktanun. Two brothers, Narin and Narit (Mitr Chaibancha), are arguing. The youngest brother Narin loves a woman called Satsanee. As the love is not blossoming, he gets suicide. Satsanee (Amara Asavananda) and younger sister So (Pissamai Wilaisak) are part of a rich family. Her parents are played by Preuhat Boonlong and Manat Boonkiet. Her aunt by Malee Wetpraseri. Domestic helper is played by Sulaleewan Suwanthat. Believing So is Satsanee, the elder brother Narit blames So and announces to her that Narin is about to die. It is her last chance for her to see him. She follows Narit without warning her other family members. She understands too late that Narit kidnaps her. Narit wants her to pay for her sins (การใช้บาป). She claims she is not Satsanee but So! He doesn’t listen. Satsanee meets Wat (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Narit doesn’t want to release So as he is concerned she would lie to other men again. Ruffians led by Khun Wiset threatens Narit to sell his tin mine but he refuses. On the way to the city, Narit helps Wat, whose car has a flat tire. While having a drink, he learns that Narit just engaged with a young lady called Satsanee! Lady Boonkrai tries to frame So by pushing Bai to rape her. Narit is very upset with So as he believes she keeps seducing men such as his brother Narin, Bai and Wat so he keeps her captive so that she pays her moral debts (ชดใช้). Narit knows the truth as So speaks while having a nightmare. Narit excuses himself about his behavior. So asks him to give pardon (ขออภัย) but Narit refuses as he lost his brother. Love emerges between Narit and So. Ruffians attack the tin mine. Narit defeats their leader and confronts the owner of another mine, khun Wiset, that tried to steal his belongings. So cares for Narit, who was slightly injured during the fightings. Narit offers a pendant to So. So is back to her home. Satsanee wants to know where So has disappeared. Satsanee is engaged with Wat. Nariti finally meets Wat and the real Satsanee. Satsanee borrows So’s pendant. Bai realizes that Boonkrai was lying to him. Boonkrai also lies to Satsanee about Wat having an accident. Boonkrai and Hin have a plan. Narit and Wat storm the ruffians’ place to release Satsanee. Narit defeats Hin. Satsanee wishes to stay her whole life with Narit. Wat and Narit go back to Bangkok by train. Satsanee breaks up with Wat and gives back her engagement ring (ถอดหมั้น). Narit buys an engagement ring. Narit visits Satsanee’s parents and Satsanee believes Narit is asking for her hand. Narit asks for So’s hand causing Satsanee’s despair! It was a trick for Satsanee to suffer and understand the suffering she caused to others. Narit doesn’t want to meet Satsanee anymore and chases her away. Satsanee finally goes to see Wat back at the hospital and they engage again. Narit and So can have happiness. Three songs are featured in the movie.

Thai movie บางปะกง was released in year 1961. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 35 minutes (two reels) remains to be seen. In the first part of the movie Chana Sriubon and Boosara Narumit are having the main roles and then are playing the parents’ roles in the second part of the movie. New actors as main actor (ชุมพร พงษ์ชมพู) and main actress (แววตา อาษาสุข) are playing in the second part of the movie. A wedding ceremony involving Chana Sriubon and Preeya Roongrueng happens. Chana is not happy to marry her as he was forced by his mother (Malee Wetpraseri). A child is born with Boosara Narumit, Chana’s real love. At nighttime the husband leaves Preeya to find Boosara. Malee Wetpraseri engages a robber to attack Boosara at nighttime but her father (เสน่ห์ โกมารชุน) protects her. But the robber lies so the father and Boosara are finally chased from the home and take refuge in Bang Pakong. Boosara's child is kidnapped per the mother's orders. Boosara has to kill her boss trying to abuse her but ends up in jail. Her father finally dies also. Twenty years have passed. Boosara is released from jail. She is welcome to stay in Win's home. Win (วิน วิษณุรักษ์) is now married to อภิญญา วีระขจร. She finally meets a young lady (แววตา อาษาสุข) having a pendant with a picture of Chana. She understands the young lady is her daughter (ลูกแม่). Her boyfriend (ชุมพร พงษ์ชมพู) is also a soldier similar to Chana's position twenty years ago. She gives her a gift offered by Chana before. When Chana sees this gift, he knows Boosara is still alive. Disappointed by life, Boosara tries to get suicide by jumping from a bridge but she is rescued by Win. She is finally reunited with her daughter. The movie was done by the same producer of movie Mae nak Phra khanong with actress Preeya Roongrueng already.
