Border police led by Sarawat Sorapong Chatree is intercepting smugglers from Laos. Nawin (Likit Eakmongkol), navy officer (ผู้การ), is patrolling on a boat at the border between Laos and Thailand. Sorapong and Nawin often have to work together. Veteran actor Manop Aussawathep is head of navy soldiers. Beautiful landscapes are shown over the Mekong river being the border between Thailand and Laos. 7 molam songs are featured. Pim, molam singer in Laos, is kidnapped by ruffians. In fact Pho Im, head of ruffians (Krai Kanchit), gives to Pim's mother (Metta Roongrat) and Pim a deadline of two days for a wedding. Pol, who secretly loves Pim, helps her to flee in order to go to Thailand. Pim's father is a molam singer on Thai side (ฝั่งไทย). Choomporn Theppitak welcomes his daughter from Laotian side. Relief characters are people having similar face as famous actors Songthong. One of the other daughters Phan understands that Nawin has now more interest into Pim so she lets her new sister having happiness as she suffered a lot in Laos before. Action takes place in Amphoe Bong Chiem, most eastern part of Thailand. Pol follows up in Thailand and discovers that Nawin is also having interest in Pim. Pho Im decides to get back Pim from Thailand. Pol is disappointed and now works forcedly for Pho Im. He fails to bring back Pim to Laos as Nawin prevents him to do so. Another kidnapping tentative happens. Pol is captured by Nawin but finally stays at Choomporn’s house as he was forced by Pho Im to try to kidnap Pim. Romance starts between Pol and Pim’s Thai sister. Ruffians storm directly Choomporn’s house to abduct Pim. Shootings are exchanged. Ruffians are finally neutralized. Pim’s mother finally stay with Choomporn Theppitak as both Thai and Laos Mekhong river banks are inseparable. Movie สองฝั่งโขง is considered as a “small movie” (หนังฟอร์มเล็ก) dedicated for provinces audience.

Life's circumstance changes Lek's existence and forces him to kill 12 men. A few village headmen (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) have a meeting to decide who will be the next subdistrict headman (กำนัน). Current subdistrict headman Liem wants to push his own son to be his successor. His son is a local police officer. They use bad influence (อิทธิพล) to control the subdistrict. Village headman Naparn tries to oppose. Naparn has two sons, Lek (Sorapong Chatree) and Porn. One night village headman Naparn and Porn are killed. Subdistrict headman Liem hire a hitman (มือปืนรับจ้าง) to kill also Lek. During the funeral (งานศพ), the police officer asks Lek to follow the law (หน้าที่ของกฎหมาย). Lek decides to do his own justice as it will be too difficult to find proofs against a subdistrict headman backed up by a policeman son. The subdistrict headman Liem and one of his son are killed by Lek, who has to flee. The subdistrict headman Liem's second son is not killed as he is a policeman. Liem's ruffians team asks support to subdistrict headman Sing (Kanchit Kwanpracha). Various intimidation and murders are performed by the ruffians team. Lek's family members or friends are killed one by one. They were innocent. Lek cannot remain neutral (เป็นคนดีไม่ได้). Lek has no choice than to exit from his retreat. He shoots a few ruffians. Then Lek quits the province to find a new job. He gets a job in a sawmill (โรงเลื่อย) in Saraburi. The boss is a lady (Pumpuang Duangchan). As he saves her from a log accident, they become sweethearts (แฟน). The ruffians find his retreat. A first murder tentative fails. Understanding that the ruffians will never let him safe, he decides to get rid of them (ต้องฆ่าให้หมด) to solve this endless situation. Lek prays every evening as life's circumstance forces him to kill ruffians to protect people he loves. Lek refuses to become an official hitman as he will not kill people who didn't hurt him. He attacks directly the ruffians' HQ. Sing and the ruffians are afraid for their lives. They ask help from another subdistrict headman. Lek and his remaining friends decide to raid his house to get rid of them. Police arrives to separate both groups. Believing that Lek is injured, his wife hurries up to go there and convince him to surrender (มอบตัว). After a trial, Lek and his friends are condemned to life imprisonment but are finally released after 12 years in jail. The real Lek was then killed by a hitman in 1993.

During a parliament session inauguration, two members of a party are shot by a hitman. One dies. The son, called Ek (Chatchai Plengpanich), decides to investigate in order to find the murderer and motive. Ek locates Saeng, the hitman but this one is killed as he didn't do his job properly. Saeng's sister, Sopha, sees Ek's face and believes he shot her brother. Damrong, deputy (ผู้แทน) of the same party is also shot and killed. Wadee (Apiradee Pawaputanon), his girlfriend, also wishes to know the motive. Police suspects bad politics motives. Pramod is the political opponent of Damrong. San, policeman, is investigating on this case. Ek is captured by some ruffians while investigating. Chat is the ruffians’ leader who killed Saeng. San helps Ek on time but Chat is shot before disclosing any information. Sopha comes to apologize to Ek on her behalf of her dead brother. Wadee wishes to continue Damrong's goal to build a school in a slum. There is style opposition between Sopha, pure lady working as singer at nighttime and Wadee. A romance starts between Ek and Sopha. Ek needs also to spend time with Wadee on the project to build a school. Ek identifies that the head of ruffians was driving the motorbike used by Saeng to shot Damrong. He is linked to Pramod and his acolyte Vinai, highly suspected as corrupted politicians. By investigating on Pramod and Vinai, Ek is captured but released by Wadee. Pramod gets rid of Vinai as he is getting too cowardly and afraid of investigations so he cannot be trusted anymore. Ek is accused of Vinai murder. Meanwhile Sopha succeeds to get Pramod’s secret documents showing his involvement in illicit business. Ek's uncle is killed while trying to protect Sopha. Sopha is kidnapped. As they cannot wait for the police, Ek and Wadee have no choice but to storm Pramod's home in order to rescue Sopha. It is a typical action movie from 1980s decade related to ruffians and featuring many shootings and fights.

Thai movie ฉลามเสือวังตะเคียน was released in year 1987. The movie lasts 1h33mn. Three ruffians chase two young ladies. They only succeed to catch one girl. Dao Reuang (อรุโณทัย จิตตรีขันธ์) succeeds to flee. She tells her mother (Marasri Bangchang) the whole story. The father tries to rescue his daughter but finally both are killed. Later on a group of soldiers (ทหารเรือ) led by หมวด Tieng (Chatchai Plengpanich) storm a ruffians' place heavily armed. Then Tieng arrives in a small city. He helps a night lady called Rarai. Her father wanted to become rich thanks to jewels (พลอย) but he died before. Chat Mongkolchai is a local notable. Tieng wins back his land titles against subdistrict officer Krai Kanchit. Tieng authorises the notable to stay on the land but claims he will marry his daughter Kaew (Nareerat Monsiri). Ruffians try to kill him at nighttime but they fail. The ruffian leader, called เจ้าพ่อ Wang Takhien (Kanchit Kwanpracha) or Athon, is concerned of losing his influence (บารมี) and power (อำนาจ) towards villagers. He decides to get rid of Tieng and threatens the local doctor also through some shots on his office (สถานีอนามัย). Village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) and sub district officer Krai are also involved and corrupted with Athon. Chat's wife called Soi also. Tieng and the village leader shot each other because of Soi. Tieng is seriously injured but his friends protect him while he is recovering. Soi is the mistress of Athon. She is pregnant. Soi pushes Kaew versus Dao as both have interest in Tieng. Ratana is Athon's son and he wishes to have Kaew as his wife. Rarai has her own plan to replace Athon. Subdistrict officer Krai kidnaps Kaew and kills her father. A hitman shots the doctor and Dao's mother. Tieng and his friends decide to storm the ruffians place in order to release Kaew. Heavy fightings do occur. Everybody dies except Tieng, Kaew and Dao.

Police head Chatree is upset to see Wee having issues when being with Kata. She was shot and almost kidnapped. Wee is hiding something to him. Lin is upset to see Kata with Wee. Lin loves Kata, but she knows she has no way to become his official girlfriend (แฟน). She is playing double game. She is helping Wee, being captured by ruffians to attract Kata in a trap. She is identified as traitor by ruffians and later Lin is found dead. Ruffians take revenge on Yot’s aunt (Marasri Bangchang). Chatree has no proofs but reminds Kata that law shall be applied for all (หน้าที่ของกฎหมาย) but Kata refuses. Kata and Yot storm the hangar where ruffians are exchanging drugs. Fiercely fighting is occurring as Kata is having a submachine gun. Ruffians are defeated but Yot is killed. Krai is finally captured by Chatree.

At nighttime, Oon disguises herself as masked justiciary lady (อีนทรีสาว). Pumi, as hitman, tries to shoot Oon but Thep is the one injured. Oon takes good care of him at hospital. Ruffians fail to kill him at hospital. Chased by ruffians, Oon brings them to the dojo. Oon’s friends neutralize the ruffians. Thep thrashes Viboon and Somsak as revenge. Pumi hires a hitman 100 000 baht to get rid of Oon (อินทรีสาว) but he fails. Pumi also fails to kill Thep. Thep promises them a bloody war (สงครามเลือด) if they continue. Thep warns Viboon and Somsak. Four hitmen are hired this time by Pumi. They also fail. Ruffians get revenge over Thep's family and capture him. They use him as bait to attract Oon. Aware that Thep is held prisoner in a hangar, Oon and three of her friends, being the karate dojo owners, join her. They storm the hangar. Fighting scenes are often played in accelerated way to make them more thrilling. Fighting and shooting occur in the hangar. Ruffians’ leaders are killed but Oon’s friends are also shot.

Thai movie ตามฆ่า was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h46mn. The VHS release is very sharp. The movie was also released overseas by Filmark movie production. It is called "Twinkle Ninja Fantasy". It is mixing the Thai movie and Ninja sequences shot in Hong Kong. Vin (Lak Apichat) organises gambling on a mining site. Manager (ผู้จัดการ) Somchai (Krai Kanchit) decides to give him a harsh lesson. Kiet (Sorapong Chatree) interposes as Somchai is going too far. Fighting erupts and You (Sinaporn Philailak) has to stop them. The big boss Thana (Boo Wibunnan) refuses to fire Kiet as he is a good staff. You is Thana's girlfriend but she is also Somchai's mistress. As Kiet has to transport important company goods, Somchai plans to get rid of him. As Kiet's sister has a domestic accident, Kiet cannot go. Vin then leads the convoy, which is attacked by ruffians. Only Vin succeeds to escape as the ruffians believe he falls from a cliff. You pushes to marry with Thana (แม่เลี้ยง) but this latter wishes to inform his son coming back from overseas first. As the convoy is robbed, Somchai accuses Kiet to be the mastermind behind. Pinyo tries to convince Vin to accuse Kiet but as he refuses, he is beaten and left for dead. Thana doesn't trust Somchai so he wishes to replace him by his son. Aware, Somchai hires Chat Mongkolchai to attack the next convoy led by Thana and Kiet. All staff die including Thana. Only Kiet escapes but his sister gets killed as he takes refuge in his home. Somchai now plans to kill Thana's son called Virayut (วีรยุทธ รสโอชา). While exiting the train station, ruffians chase and shoot Virayut. Luckily doctor Wana (ปรางค์ วงศ์วัช)(แสนสวย) passes by and saves his life. Pipop Pupinyo and Pao Porapak storm the doctor's house to find the son. Wana chases them on time before any killing occurs. Virayut wishes to kill Kiet as You brainwashed him that he is the killer. Ruffians try to kill again Virayut but they fail so they kidnap the doctor Wana. Meanwhile Virayut follows Lak to find Kiet. Following fighting, Virayut understands that Kiet is innocent. Understanding that Somchai doesn't love her, You tries to release Wana but it is too late and she gets killed. Kiet gets revenge over Chat Mongkolchai by putting a grenade in his mouth. Knowing that Somchai is planning to flee overseas by boat, Thai police, Kiet, Vin, Virayut storm the pier to release Wana. The boat succeeds to escape but Kiet and Virayut are on board. Through a final fight, Somchai is killed. As often in Thai movies, it is discovered that Virayut is a Bangkok police officer. Before going to Bangkok, he promotes Kiet as new manager and Vin as intendant. This Thai includes many stereotypes from 1980s Thai action movies.

Thai movie เสือภูพาน was released in year 1986. The movie "เสือภูพาน", released under VCD by Lepso ltd, lasts only 56 minutes so for sure the original movie was cut a lot so making the whole story a bit difficult to understand. The movie เสือภูพาน was already released by Happy Time ltd so this version might be longer. Another online version lasts 1h07mn. It was also released under as an international title as "Spy Inferno" (1h26mn). It is a mix of Thai footage and Hong Kong footage done by Filmark production. The movie is in Spanish language. The Thai footage lasts more than one hour. The picture quality of "Spy inferno" is much better than the Thai VCD release. Some scenes are present only in the Filmark version and some only in the Thai VCD version. The Thai actors are not even mentioned in the credits. Soldiers led by Phupan (Krung Srivilai) are attacked by traitors. As their leader is injured, they have to retreat. This group of traitors is led by a big chief (Boo Wibunnan). The big chief leader wears Vietnamese clothes with a communist red star. They are traitors to the Thai nation. His ruffians' team includes Somsak Chaisongkram, Chat Mongkolchai, Krai Kanchit, Pao Porapak, ชูชัย ชัชดา and Pipop Pupinyo. They terrorize and ransack the local population. Kamnan (กำนัน) Lit is taking orders from a female boss (หัวหน้า) called Melan (Nareerat Monsiri). Only two men, Seu (Sorapong Chatree) and Phupan, are organizing resistance against them. Seu’s parents and younger sister were killed by the ruffians. The international version shows the village attack by the ruffians. Subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Yeun refuses to sell his land to the ruffians. Lit tries to intimidate Yeun. Seu helps a singer aggressed by Somsak Chaisongkram (เล่นผัวเมียกัน). Seu is kidnapped by the ruffians but refuses to divulge information on Phupan. The doctor Bua helps Seu to flee. A chase is engaged to catch them back. Kamnan Lit kidnaps Yeun to force Yeun’s daughter (ไปรมา รัชตะ) to be his wife. Her friend Promod helps to release Kamnan Lit. There is a secret informer (หูตา), called Number 13, inside the ruffians’ team. The traitors move to another secret place but Bua leads the Thai army there. Melan is finally uncovered as the hidden informer inside the ruffians. The Thai army, helped by Seu, storm the ruffians’ headquarters but faces strong opposition. Seu appears in hill tribes clothes. All ruffians are killed. Bua dies in the fightings. Thai movie เสือภูพาน reminds of movies such as ชุมแพ 2 (1984) or เสือภูเขา (1979) where a hill tribe character has strong fighting skills.

This movie related to a vampire is another B grade Thai horror movie. Dead bodies are found in a village. Doctor Solot is ordering his caretaker to find bodies part. Nobody in the village can meet or see doctor Solot. Doctor Solot has one exorbitant eye and needs to finish a mysterious job. He wishes to make a perfect creature with dead elements. Meanwhile a few Bangkokian friends (Eung, Dong, Vichak) arrive in the village. The Frankenstein creature created by doctor Solot is defeated. At the same time a vampire spirit (วิญญาณ) is released unfortunately by a villager lady called Tengnam. The spirit was prisoner of the bottle previously by the local sorcerer (หมอผี). The vampire, called Maekin (เมฆินทร์), takes possession of doctor Solot's body. He is looking for beautiful ladies blood. He likes a young lady called Eungkam. A nun (Nang Suchatada) arrives in the village. The vampire wishes to get nun Suchatada as his wife. The nun, the Bangkokian friends and Eungkam unify their efforts to fight against the vampire. The local sorcerer contacts an hermit (ฤาษี) to know how to get rid of the vampire. Three weapons are needed to kill the vampire, i.e. jasmine flower (ดอกมะลิ), a magic sword and blood from virgin. Tengnam is also under the vampire spell. She gives poisoned fruits to the local sorcerer who dies. Anyway the nun succeeds to get all ingredients to fight the vampire. The vampire is defeated by the nun but many villagers and Vichak die. This B grade movie has a little budget, simple Fx effects and features many deaths. It is a remake of the movie shot in 1973 with Sombat Methanee.

Some Thai Soldiers are fighting at the border against some communist invaders. Phet (เพชร) and Chat (ชาติ) are two key members of this unit. They deserve a rest. Phet brings Chat back to his village. Meanwhile the village headman (ผู้ใหญ่) is killed by a professional killer (มือปืน). Khun Thana, a local influent man, is responsible of his death. Mae Ploy, a child called Haeng, Phet and Chat are witnesses of the murder. Thana wishes to suppress all witnesses. As the future of the country (ชาติ) is endangered if children don't go to school, Phet and Chat decide to protect Haeng and the school. Luckily for the two soldiers, the two teachers, Porn (ครูศิริพร) and Plang (ครูปราง), are also beautiful ladies. Phet captures one of the killer in the city. Thana tries to use his influence to release the killer. Phet meets Lady Kanya (กันยา), a local company owner, having issues with local mafia. Jealousy starts between Kanya and Porn regarding Phet. Following a gun fighting in the school, a student is killed. A car chasing happens in the city and finally the child killers are punished. Phet is captured but succeeds to escape. Phet is played by Sorapong Chatree with a beard. A barber scene is inspired from Sergio Leone western spaghetti movies. Kanya (ขายชาติ) proposes to Phet to steal army weapons but he refused and is held prisoner. As Phet has disappeared, Chat and the two teachers look for him. Chat helps to release Phet. Two former solder friends (ทรยศชาติ) are now working for Thana. They complain that Thai government didn't support them properly. Finally following Phet's touching words, they change side and sacrifice themselves for the nation (เป็นคนไทย). The two former soldiers sacrifice their life to destroy the ruffians’ explosive stock. It is a typical action movie from 1980s with nationalist aspect and highlighting children education importance for the future of the country. It is only a 68 minutes movie so part of the movie might have been cut.

Cheut meets his previous girlfriend Yoi (Wiyada Umarin) having Manop Aussawathep as new husband. Fighting occurs in the bar. Back to Yaowarat district, Cheut ends up in Boo Wibunnan's entertainment centre and meets Anchalee Chaisiri. She suggests him to go to Jumbo bar to find Yot. There, Cheut is facing Pao Porapak. Cheut finally finds Yot with his girlfriend, then steals his suitcase full of drugs and gives it back to the police. Cheut flies to Hong Kong. He meets Pailu (Apiradee Pawaputanon), a singer. Pailu introduces him to Cheng (Krai Kanchit). On a boat in Sai Kung, Cheut meets Cheng again. Coming for a drug exchange, Cheut steals money from Cheng. He gets help from Jo (อโนเชาว์ ยอดบุตร), an undercover HK policeman. HK Police recommends to Cheut to leave Hong Kong as soon as possible for his own safety. Rong Kaomulkadee and Lak Apichat are working for Sahat Piempongsan, former boss of Cheut. Sahat thought Cheut was dead. Knowing Cheut is still alive, he decides to help him. Yot sends a killer to get rid of Cheut but he fails. Cheut learns from head of Police Somchai that Pailu is from Interpol. Another tentative to kill Cheut fails again. Cheut gets help from Rong. Thai police uses a stratagem for Jo to join Cheng’s team. Facing a fight with ruffians, Cheng is helped by Jo in a bar. Convinced by his skills, Cheng asks him to join his team. Pailin is business partner with Cheng. Per Pailin’s order, Yot captures Cheut. Cheng wants to get back his money. Meanwhile, Sahat captures Pailin's men in order to know where they keep Cheut. Cheut claims the money was confiscated by the HK Police but the drug is still stored in a suitcase hidden in Pailu’s home. Pailu gets help from Somchai so that drug is given back to ruffians. Cheng starts to suspect Pailu also. She fails to escape. Meanwhile Thai police surrounds the ruffians’ den. Yot plans to kill Cheut but it fails through a final epic fight between Cheut and Yot. A Thai husband called Sankap (Krai Kanchit) comes to rest in a remote house with his wife Oon (Anchalee Chaisiri), a domestic helper and his teenage daughter, Kaew (วัยหวาน อลิษา มิลเล่อร์). Ting is the mute (ใบ้) guardian of the old house. He is similar to a Quasimodo. Strange and scary noises can be heard at nighttime especially in the attic. Bones (ที่เก็บกระดูก) are found there. Kaew has her periods for the first time (เป็นสาวแล้ว). Through hidden passages in the house walls, the guardian spies the family. Through incantations, the guardian is calling an old spirit (ปลุกวิญญาณ) in front of a skeleton. The spirit needs a virgin (หญิงพรหมจารี) and pure blood. The spirit extended his life since more than 100 years thanks to virgin blood (บริสุทธิ์). Kaew is finally possessed (ถูกผีเข้า), speaks with a male voice and has extreme strength (แรงมาก). She tries to strangle the domestic helper. While her father is out to get a doctor, Kaew continues her rampage towards her mother and the domestic helper. The mother and domestic helper are not strong enough to face such a hell spirit (ผีนรก). The domestic helper is killed. Sankap arrives too late with a doctor. The doctor is even thrown out of the window and dies. Vichan (Porjed Kaenpetch), Sankap’s friend, visits them and is surprised to find the house very quiet. He also sees the two corpses. He has difficulties to believe in ghosts until the spirit wakes up. Vichan suspects the guardian so he follows him up inside his hut. Oon suggests to call a shaman (หมอผี). The guardian is neither mute neither handicapped. Some zombies try to catch Vinchan. Meanwhile the spirit lies to Oon and convinces her to open the locked door. A fight happens between the spirit and Sankap. Despite cutting its arms and head, Sankap is overcome by the spirit. Sankap and Oon are killed. A purification fire started by Vichan burns the skeleton and wax effigies. Spirits are defeated. Vichan promises to take care of Kaew. Compared to other contemporary 1980s Thai horror movies, this movie doesn't have much comic relief despite Lor Tok and Note Chernyim acting, so it is more similar to western standards despite having simple Fx. It could be the Thai version of "The Exorcist"!

Nang Phanee is ภูติรักยั่วสวาท, i.e. a ghost, who still wishes to seduce men, The charm of Nang Phanee causes instant love from Chatree. The following day, Nang Phanee also seduces Itthi. Wan believes Chatree is becoming crazy (คนบ้า) as he is giving kisses to an invisible ghost. Nang Phanee enjoys playing tricks with Chatree and Itthi. Mon declares her love towards Chatree to Wan. The subdistrict headman's helpers try to abuse Wan (สาวกรุงเทพ) but Nang Phanee defeats them. The subdistrict headman's helpers are chased from his house. They contact a master (อาจารย์) (Lor Tok) to have him doing magic filters (ทำเสน่ห์ให้). He is half crazy. He is also contacted to remove infidelity from the body of sub-district headman's wife and the students. He needs to face Nang Phanee and chases her (ไล่ผี). But the master is in fact very smart. He chases another ghost and keeps Nang Phanee for him!!

Nard hires a hitman to get rid of Wan but it fails. Chat Mongkolchai kidnaps โสธรณ์ in order to find where Wan is hiding. As Mai is passing, she is kidnapped and โสธรณ์ is killed. They lie that Neun has a new wife to convince Pae. It makes Neun upset. Wittaya Sukdamrong recommends him to calm down. Neun needs to flee police called by Oi. Neun takes refuge in Bangkok in Kaet's family as a car driver. Kaet's husband, Anoon (อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์), has another wife so Kaet is heartbroken and Sor recommends her to build a new life (ตั้งต้นไม้). Oi sympathises with Kaet's husband being a teacher. หมอเสน่ห์ is hired by Pae's family so Boo fires them. A romance between Kaet and Neun happens. Grandma Malee doesn't accept it. Nio is killed by Krai following an external affair. Yui's house is burgled. Neun arrives too late but hopefully Nio's money was well hidden. Neun meets Pipop and Krai fleeing after the robbery. They finally shoot each other unable to share the money. Yui, Neun's mother, sends a parade to ask for Kaet's hand. Neun gives 100,000 THB as promised for Kaet's hand and builds a big house on the land given by Sor. During a drinking session, Anoon discloses to Oi, that Neun is a stupid countryside man as he is marrying Kaet while both of her children are from himself! Despite having university diploma, Anoon behaves badly and the diploma has no value (กระดาษชำระ) as it didn't teach him to behave correctly in life. Informed by Oi, Neun keeps drinking and meets Pae, working in a club as partner. Pae ended up as Prostitute (กะหรี่) and lost her childcare. Anoon even receives 100,000 THB from Sor to keep quiet. Anoon gets beaten by Neun but is only worried about the money. Upset that Kaet lied to him (หลอกลวงเขา), Neun burns the new house (ไฟไหม้เรือนหอ) and surrenders to the Thai Police. Before being arrested, Neun asks Kaet to give money to Pae every month so that she can stop working and take care about their child. This movie highlights poor people versus rich people. Poor people have better heart than rich people.

Ruffians kidnap young lady Lamai but Paen releases her and injures the village leader trying to abuse her. Young lady Booklee is kidnapped to become Mek’s new minor wife. Khun Mom Sasingha (Kowit Wattanakul) meets Chaba (Ampha Pusit), niece (หลานสาว) of Kamnan Chat. He presents himself as a customer of the underground casino (บ่อน). Pipop Pupinyo is looking for troubles with Sasingha but gets beaten. Chat is then jealous that Sasingha is too close to Chaba. Seua Rit (Suchao Pongwilai) is hired by the village leader to get rid of Paen. Mek’s daughter, Pumarin (Apiradee Pawaputanon), is coming back from overseas following successful studies. Her real father is Rit but he doesn’t want her daughter to know that her father is a thief so the truth was never disclosed to Pumarin. Paen behaves as a Robin Wood (โจร) by giving free goods to poor villagers. A pact is agreed between Paen, Khun Mom Sasingha and Klot (Rith Luecha). Klot wishes to get revenge on Mek as he killed all his family members and kidnapped his niece Booklee. Paen refuses to meet his sister Phit anymore. Both Chat and Lom are buried alive as Mek discovers they are having an affair. Meanwhile Rit kills pregnant Lamai and her mother as they refused to disclose where Paen is hidden. Phit is having an affair with Seua Rit. Per her strategy to protect her brother, Phit claims to Mek that she has been raped by Rit so that Rit cannot harm Paen anymore. Paen releases Pumarin aggressed by ruffians kidnapping her. Klot gains the trust of Mek in order to better spy him. Paen wishes to get revenge on Mek but police surrounds him. The Buddhist amulet saves Paen one more time. Phit protects Paen a last time by shooting Mek but this latter shoots her before dying. Paen listens to Pumarin and surrenders peacefully to the police. A sequel released in year 1988 was called ลำพูนแดง.

Farida knows she is guilty and wishes to take care of Chapan also. She offers expensive gifts (ของแพงๆ). Krai Kanchit and Pao Porapak manage an underground casino. While betting, Pisan and Nop meet. Nop tries to convince him that Chapan still needs a mother. Pisan refuses. 20 000 Baht debt happens as Pisan gets upset. He cannot find any friends to lend him 20 000 baht. He has to ask Farinda. Krai still comes to get the horse as he doesn't believe Pisan can pay back the debt. A fighting erupts and police catches Pisan. Pisan has to stay in jail a while. Chapan stays in Farinda's home as his father Pisan forces him to go there. He would prefer to stay with uncle Sompong Phonmitr or with นภาพร หงสกุล. Chapan, learning that Farida is his mother, rejects her as she is not living with her father anymore. Pisan even asks Farida to come back. The boxing ring manager (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) accepts Pisan back as boxer despite the health risks as Pisan wants to gain money to build a future for his son (studies, house). They train together. Farida gives also support (กำลังใจ) to Pisan. Farinda decides to go back living with her son. The boxing match happens. Pisan wins the first part of the match but the youth of his opponent allows him to come back. Pisan's vision starts to alter as he gets hit at the head. He is knocked down twice but refuses to stop. He finally wins his match but collapses in the cloakroom. Before dying, he asks Chapan to stay with Farida, who is a good person (ต้องการพ่อ / ต้องการอยู่กับพ่อ).

The owner’s daughter called Nori (Aranya Namwong) is concerned about Lom’s righteousness. The movie dares a scene with two actresses (including Orasa Isarangkul) kissing each other. Net (Manop Aussawathep) brings money to local mafia leader Prachuap Ruekyamdee. Bulam (Tanyarat Lohanan), selling soup, is upset with these two ladies. So she uses Net and his ruffians to bully the ladies (รังแกผู้หญิง). Lom (Sombat Methanee) being around kicks the ruffians. Net asks Lom for one to one fighting on the next day. While scuba diving, Nori finds some war weapons on an island. Ruffians, aware that Nori discovered their hidden hideaway, put a bomb in her boat but she escapes to death. Bulam is now bullied by the ruffians but this time, Don Manora (Krung Srivilai) helps her. To join Net's team, Don agrees to knock out Lom but he fails. Don flees with Bulam. Don wishes to meet นาย Prachuap as he wishes to work for him. At nighttime he investigates their warehouses and finds boxes full of M16 weapons. Prachuap is upset as his stock of weapons hidden on the island has disappeared. Simulating being a spirit doctor (หมอดู), Phairoj Jaising is visiting the ruffians site. He meets เสีย Prachuap's girlfriend (Tharika Thidathip). Jaising is undercover policeman. He is recognised and captured. Don succeeds to release him and flees with Bulam. The ruffians succeed to kidnap the ladies again. Fightings happen with the police. Ruffians are overcome. Net tries to flee with the van with the girls and runs over Prachuap. He finally crashes the van in a ravine causing his death and death of Bulam also. Nori finally understands that Lom, Don and Jaising are all policemen.

Ruffians fail to get rid of Sakao. Misiko asks to meet Sakao again and warns him (เล่นกับความตาย) that ruffians are trying to kill him. Sakao is finally captured. Deu uses Dr Singhon’s signature to enter in their hidden place and install a microphone under the table. Sakao is beaten but refuses to disclose who he is. Ruffians are doing a weapons traffic to disrupt Thailand. Deu gathers information and informs the Police. Thai Police, led by Wittaya Sukdamrong, are ready to surround the house where ruffians are hiding. House is stormed and all ruffians are neutralized. Kun Thong's mother is Mae Kaew (Petchara Chaowarat) but he has no father. Mae Kaew refuses to mention who the father is. Kun Thong's mother is very religious oriented (ทำบุญ). Phikun is the village headman’s daughter (พ่อกำนัน). Saen is the son of a local rich influential man. Kun Thong (Sorapong Chatree) is a poor farmer. Romance is happening between Phikhun and Kunthong. Phikhun believes in kindness (ทำดีได้ดี). Kunthong helps Phikhun during the sacred cloth ceremony around the village chedi (ผ้าห่มพระธาตุ). Saen is jealous about Kunthong. Petchara recommends her son not to have hope about a wedding with Phikhun as he is poor. One day Kunthong helps a young lady called Than being aggressed by ruffians. As Than has no place to go as being sold by her family, Mae Kaew shelters her in her home. At night, while Kunthong and Than are away, Mae Kaew is aggressed by Saen and his ruffians. She losts her sight. She only remembers her aggressor wears a big specific ring. She doesn't have any enemies except Seua Yoi who killed her husband twenty years ago following cards debts. Kunthong wishes to buy eye medicine to a local doctor but pricing argument degenerates into a fight with the doctor's son, who is killed by accident (Krai Kanchit). Kunthong has to flee. Saen wishes to arrest Kunthong. Meanwhile Kunthong is looking for Seua Yoi to kill him. Nowadays Seua Yoi has become a solitary monk in a cave to expiate his past mistakes. He is not the one who hurts his mother. Kunthong misses his mum but finally becomes a thief (กรรมของเขา) but a Robin Hood like as he is only stealing from dishonest people. One day Kunthong has to kill a son in front of his mother to protect himself. He has hard feelings thinking about his own mum. Than has leper (โรคติดต่อ). Kunthong decides stopping being a thief. He gets smacked by Phikhun as he doesn't care about his mum. The one taking full care is Than despite Mae Kaew is not her mother. An engagement is arranged between Phikhun and Saen (ขันหมาก). Phikhun's father forbids her to visit Mae Kaew anymore. Mae Kaew recovers sight thanks to the eye medicine given by Kunthong (แม่มองเห็นแล้ว). Kunthong is aware of the engagement. On the evening, Phikhun disappears with Kunthong. Farmers including Mae Kaew are then expropriated. Their houses are burnt. Than is left behind due to her decease. Than dies in Kunthong's arms but has time to relate the ring story. Through a suspense final, Kunthong and Phikhun surrender to the village headman but Kunthong gets shot by Saen. Only injured, Kunthong shots back Saen. The village headman's thugs shot deadly Kunthong and Phikhun is caught in the crossfire. They die in each other arms. Both Mae Kaew and the village headman feel the pain of losing their child. This movie is really about love for mothers. It is also a tragedy as in real life Petchara Chaowarat became blind a few months after this movie released in 1978. It was her last movie.

The movie features fighting between those smaller bosses in order to become the big boss. Sing A finally sympathizes with Nolee (Aranya Namwong), daughter of Nop. Phi Pon (Sahat Piempongsan) and his team start hostilities and take over a mine. Mek (Chana Sriubon) and Wan are having a love affair. Tan (Manop Aussawathep) orders to kill Sing A. KoLit and Mek defeat Pipop Pupinyo and his guys trying to enter in their ranch. Krong is shot and injured by another gang. Tan refuses to work with Phi Pon (ขายหน้า). Chat Mongkolchai and his ruffians attack Mek's house but get defeated by KoLit and Mek following a long boat race. Wedding is happening between Mek and Wan. Chun is looking for troubles during the wedding but gets punched by Sing A. Tan is burnt in his car by Phi Pon's team and becomes blind. As a revenge, Phi Pon gets killed by Kanchit. He decides to flee. He escapes the base thanks to a plane. Lady Arunee (Metta Roongrat) (คุณหญิง) is married to Thongchai, an influential politician. Tat (Tat Ekathat), friend of Thongchai, is organizing his protection. Despite this protection, a murder tentative through injection is done on Thongchai. His son Thongchan is back and accuses Arunee but he gets arrested by Tat. Thongchan succeeds to flee. He gets involved in a political protest. Traitors (คนขายชาต) are trying to bring insurrection (วินาศกรรม) in Thailand. Ratchada (Pissamai Wilaisak) is distributing leaflets during protests and discovers a bomb. She is kidnapped by the ruffians. Witness of the kidnapping, Thongchan helps Pissamai as she is thrown away from the van driving at full speed. Thongchan rescues Pissamai and brings her to a safe hotel room. Ruffians use poisonous spiders to try to kill her but it fails. A mysterious organisation (องค์การ เก้ายอด) is using drugs to convince young people to follow them. Members wear Yak (ยักษ์) mask. A mysterious leader tries to stop Ratchada and Thongchan but they succeed to escape. Real 1973 or 1976 protests footage are used. Protests are politically motivated (ศัตรูของชาติ). The organisation has no pity for its own member as Thomas Cheng (Krai Kanchit) and Nancy (Sirikwan Nanthasiri) get killed. Arunee is also strangled. Tat is identified as the traitor leader. It turns ugly when Thongchan, Ratchada and Thongchan's father, Thai PM, are kidnapped. To avoid signing papers giving full power to the criminal organisation, the father sacrifices his life to release his son. Through a final confrontation, Thongchan, Thai boxing expert, defeats the ruffians using his martial arts skills. Thai Army arrives on time. The hidden den explodes and finally it is revealed that both Thongchan and Ratchada are undercover secret service officers. Jom ends up in Seua Hin's territory. Ruffians believe Jom is a hidden cop but Pipop confirms he is working for Yan. Boo's team puts the compromising picture of Lot and Yu Mei together, so Yan spies them and catches them together. He chases both of them from his domain. Yan and his daughter Sola are then alone to manage the mine with no protection. Upset, Yu Mei joins Boo's team. Taptim is looking for a solution to the conflict between Yan and Boo. She decides to visit Yan with Duangjai and Chiep. Upset, Boo forbids his daughter to go anywhere. As Chiep shoots one of Sia's ruffians trying to rape a villager, he is considered as a traitor (ทรยศ) and imprisoned. Jom joins Yan as he has finished his training. During Vietnam war Tua (Sombat Methanee) and his friend Kamleu help to extract American soldiers from the enemy field. A new mission is given to them. They need to eliminate a Lao mafia leader called Kosi. This is the third tentative (รับจ้าง) to get rid of Kosi. It takes place in 1972. Tua is sent on mission to Vientiane. Tua is having a few James Bond secret gadgets. He is captured by a mafia team led by Madam (Moeifa). He claims he has come to Vientiane to kill Mafiosi (เจ้าพ่อ) Kosi. Madam frees him in order to know where Kosi is hidding. Tua meets Jenny, Kosi's daughter. Kosi neutralizes Tua and believes that he is an American agent (มือปืนรับจ้าง) sent to kill him. Kosi is in business conflict with Madam. During a heavy gun fight between the two groups, Kosi is saved by Chinese soldiers and sent to Muang Sing in Northern Laos. Madam is killed. The mission has now changed. Tua and his friend Kamleu now need to extract Kosi from the Chinese soldiers and hand over him to American soldiers. Jenny is also captured by Chinese soldiers. Tua meets Kupan, an old friend who is now involved in drug trafficking. He understands that Kosi was involved in trug trafficking and weapons smuggling to support Red communists. Kosi has been transfered in an island close to Pattaya. Following a final batle involving a turtle shape submarine, Kosi is killed and his treacherous organisation destroyed. It is a typical action movie from mid 1970s with Sombat Methanee, who is directing this movie and also playing the main actor role. It is inspired from James Bond movies' theme with a main actor having gadget agent secret and behaving like a Don Juan. It still includes some Thainess with Tua asking for help from his Buddhist amulet. It is available in both Lao and Thai languages.

Thai movie นักเลงเทวดา was released in year 1975. The VCD lasts 1h32mn. Metta Roongrat as market merchant (แม่ค้า) is harassed by ruffians. A car is driven by a mysterious hitman, who kills most of the ruffians of Kamnan Wattana. Wattana (Tat Ekathat) is upset. Kamnan Wattana's daughter, called Wantanee, is played by Naiyana Shewanan. Orasa Isarangkul is also a market merchant (แม่ค้า). Nobody saw his face but he was wearing a red clothing. Thewada (Sombat Methanee) is wearing a red shirt so he is identified as the hitman. Thewada wishes to revenge his friend Somsak killed by ruffians (เทวดามาคิดบัญชี). Thewada enquiries on various ladies to uncover the mysterious hitman. Somsak's wife (ผู้หญิงใจร้าย)(Sasima Singsiri) is involved in the murder with the help of Sawin Sawangrat. Thewada helps Wantanee (ลูกสาวกำนัน). Thewada is not the mysterious killer in red shirt but is willing to find who is behind. Similar to a Thai James Bond with gadgets and kissing all girls (หลงเสน่ห์). Kamnan Wattana agrees to take him as new staff before being son in law (ลูกเขย)! Thewada gets support from Dam (Kom Akadej). A car ‘chase happens between Thewada and Kan (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri). A sister (Aranya ‘Namwong) and her brother (Choomporn Theppitak) are looking for the man, who killed their father นาย Vitun. They believe Thewada is the killer but he succeeds to escape their house just to be captured by Kan (องค์การ). Pipop Pupinyo is part of Kan's team. A third group is with Sawin and Somsak’s wife. Kan storms Kamnan Wattana's house and kidnaps his daughter. Metta and Osara are also kidnapped. Thewada and Dam then storm Kan's house to release the ladies. Krai Kanchit is part of Kan's team. Fighting and shooting happen until all ruffians are neutralized or killed. The movie ends up with Thewada leaving with both ladies Aranya and Naiyana.

A lady boss is suspected by the Hong Kong police to be involved in drugs trafficking. She escapes to the police and flees to Thailand. Pipop Pupinyo is her Thai bodyguard. Drug is transported on the back of elephants in Thai Northern jungle. Eddie (Krai Kanchit) is receptionist of the drug. He is collaborating with Tsai Yang (Sayan Chantaraviboon). They bring a doctor in the jungle to produce proper drug in the Golden Triangle. Eddie, humiliated by Li Yung, strong fighter hired by the drug Queen, contacts inspector Wu (Sombat Methanee). Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng has got a son. She offers him a camera for his birthday. While running, the boy hits a Chinese lady tourist and cameras are exchanged by mistake. The drug Queen sends Li Yung to kill Eddie. The little boy takes pictures of the murder. The murderer chases the little boy. They enter a parade for Songkran. He hits again the same Chinese lady tourist and cameras are exchanged again. Li Yung just gets a camera without film. The drug Queen orders to kill the kid. Elephants are used to carry drug. Thanks to helicopter, Wu succeeds to locate the drug factories in the jungle. Through Sompong Phonmitr, Sombat locates Tsai Yang (small fry) in order to find the drug Queen. Li Yung tries to kidnap the kid but fails. Wu brings troubles to the traffickers by using dogs to sniff them. Lin, the Chinese tourist, befriends with Chang, café owner. The drugs queen hires Tsai Yang's girlfriend as she knows she is upset by her poor life. She uses her to convince Wu to accept bribes but he refuses. Wu is finally defeated by Pinyo due to a knife injury caused by the drug Queen. The knife is poisoned. Wu was a former drug addict but he stopped a long time ago by going to a famous Buddhist temple called Wat Tham Krabok (วัดถ้ำกระบอก) . Tsai Yang's girlfriend realizing her mistake, releases Wu by getting rid of Lor Tok. A chase is happening to catch the drug Queen. A fighting erupts between Li Yung and the drug Queen in the helicopter. Both fall and die.

During the introductory lunch, the new chief district officer scolds many of his subordinates for not being dedicated to their job and to local citizens. Sukon Koewliam, Choomporn Theppitak, Lak Apichat are part of the guests. Dam Datsakorn, Pipop and two other ruffians arrive and invite themselves to the party. As they are looking for troubles, the chief district officer removes his shirt and insignia to give a boxing lesson to Dam. The remaining sequence stops here. Even when Nard Poowanai became real government officer as assistant district officer (ปลัดอำเภอ), Thai people still refers to him as chief district officer (นายอำเภอ) as this movie was really very famous and popular.

A Chinese businessman (ผู้จัดการ) (Boo Wibunnan) needs to give protection fee to the mafia. Ratee (Pissamai Wilaisak) is secretary (เลขา) of doctor Kiet, owner of the club. She is also helping on finance management. Ratee has skillset in karate so she can give a tough lesson to ruffians believing she is a partner. Police has some undercover agents near the club to spy the mafia. A mafia member prefers to eat poison than being caught by the police. It looks like an organisation bigger than a standard local Thai mafia is involved. Doctor Kiet is killed by a bomb in his car. A motorbike driven by citizen Yang follows the ruffians but is finally overwhelmed by other motorbikers sent by ruffians. He succeeds to flee and take refuge in a home where lives a beautiful and not shy lady. She is part of the mafia group but is fond of Yang so she doesn't drug him. She dies while protecting him. Yang, chased by police and ruffians (ผู้ร้าย) decides to take a break at his blind mum's house. Per his promise to his mum, Yang refuses to be involved (ไม่รวมมือ) anymore. Yan is finally kidnapped, beaten and left for dead by the ruffians. Ratee, passing by with her car, helps him. Yang is in reality an undercover agent and is now wishing to take his revenge against the ruffians. Yan is surnamed Tabai Fai (ตะบันไฟ). The ruffians are leading an international ring involved in fake money and drug trafficking. Police Chief officer (played by veteran actor and famous action director Kom Akadej) asks Yan to join the ruffians (วงการ) in order to neutralize them from inside and so to help Thailand, his country. Yan gains the ruffians' confidence as they all escape from jail. Thanks to an hidden microphone, a bank robbery is foiled. But the organisation is now aware that there is a traitor among its members. The boss girlfriend (Metta Roongrat) is also suspected. Yan puts a hidden micro in another ruffian pocket so that he cannot be accused. Finally the organisation discovers Ratee and Yan are working on same side against them. Ratee is taken as hostage. The ruffians also kill Yan's mother as retrieval. Yan and the policemen storm their secret base and traitors to Thailand are all punished. The movie ตะบันไฟตะไลเพลิง was released in year 1975. It has a damaged but still colorful picture. it is a typical cold war movie from 1960s / 1970s reminding James Bond style movies. The main actor is Phaophan Phongnathee and is quite unknown as he played only in a few movies during 1970s decade. Fights with Yan reminds Tony Ja’s Muay Thai style fighting 30 years before while using slow pace filming on key movements.

It is the last movie fully completed by Mitr Chaibancha before his death. The movie was shot in 1970 but only released in 1974 as the team was not in the mood to complete the movie after Mitr Chaibancha’s death. The movie features Thai superstars Mitr Chaibancha / Petchara Chaowarat and also Margareth Lin, Hong Kong actress. Lit (Mitr Chaibancha) is Lin’s boyfriend (แฟน). He is coming from a well-off family (ลูกผู้ดี) but Lin is coming from a poor family (คนจน). Lin's mother is worried as she doesn’t see any future to this relationship. Her friend Tiu also tells her this love is impossible. Lit's parents introduces Duangporn, a young lady from Hong Kong, to him. They often played together during their childhood. She is perfect (สวย, เรียบร้อย, มีความรู้). Lin is informed by Tiu, who saw Lit and Duangporn together but Lit loves Lin so he is not willing to marry Duangporn despite his parents’ pressure. Duangporn is aware of Lit's hidden love. At evening time, she makes him drink alcohol so that he has no strength to go out to see Lin (เด็กสมัยนี้ไม่อายหรอก). Lin waited whole night. Lit has to go back to Bangkok without seeing Lin in order to bring Duangporn back home. He simulates a car engine issue so that Duangporn has to go first. He then can see Lin freely. They spend the night together but Lin's mother doesn't trust Lit as she believes Lit only plays with a countryside girl (เด็กบ้านนอก). Lit is too shy to say the truth to his parents and only tells the truth to Duangporn. She is so sad so she tells the truth to Lit’s parents also. Lit's parents pressure Lin's parents to forbid any more meeting (ติดต่อ) together. Duangporn goes back to Hong Kong to finish her studies. But Lin is pregnant. Lit's mother refuses any wedding but Lit's father accepts that Lin can stay in their home. Lin needs to become a high society (ผู้ดี) lady in a short time but it is not an easy task due to the pressure put by Lit’s mother. During a party Lin meets her friend Tiu, working as waiter, so being very happy and causing Lit to lose face. Lit goes during 6 months to Hong Kong with his father to open a company. Lin's mother is very sick. She dies while Lin is giving birth. Lit's mother makes a deal with Lin's father. She gives him 20 000 bath to get the baby and to never see again them again again (ดูถูกคนจน). Lin is hit by a car and sent to hospital. Meanwhile her father spent all the money gambling. Lit comes back to Thailand late and is is not aware of anything. Only Tiu helps Lin at the hospital. Lin's father lies to Lit saying that Lin flees away with Tiu and abandoning her baby. Duangporn tries to comfort Lit who keeps indulging in alcohol to forget Lin. They finally marry. Tiu is having issues with ruffians as he needs to reimburse Lin’s hospital fees to them. Lin needs to sing to earn money to reimburse them. Many nice old songs are sung by Lin. By luck Lin meets an old friend of Lit. The truth is now known and all the evil done by the mother uncovered. Lit’s father arranges to pay back the debt but during a fight with the ruffians, Lin is injured at the head. It takes time for her to recover. Duangporn welcomes her back home. One night, Lin hears Lit and Duangporn discussing. She hears that Duangporn has decided to go back to stay with her father in order that Lin and Lit can have happiness. She leaves their home unwilling to break Duangporn happiness with Lit as she has been so kind to her. She learns that Tiu has been killed by ruffians. Seeing no future to her life she wishes to die. Finally a nun convinces her to enter Buddhist nuns' community to find happiness and inner peace. Despite Duangporn's request she confirms her final decision. Strong compassion and gratitude feelings happen in this movie.

Booloi and Chom are chased by ruffians. They take refuge in the snake cave (ถ้ำแม่งูสักศีษ). Booloi is pregnant. Ruffians flee as the snake cave has bad reputation. Chom loses trace of his wife. Some snakes transform themselves into young ladies and help Booloi to deliver a baby girl called Haofa. 18 years have passed. Haofa (Aranya Namwong) is now a grown up adult. Haofa still misses her parents. The snake queen selects her as the next queen. This decision makes Haodam (Metta Roongrat) upset. There are fights between ladies during Haofa's crowning. The snake kingdom only includes young ladies and an old sorceress (แม่มด). No men in the cave. In Bangkok, a young man called Tira wishes to ask for young lady Mareudi’s hand. Some ruffians, specialized in human trade overseas (รับแขก), keep asking Mareudi to join them for a trip to Japan. She always refuses. Tira’s boss called Phanom (Chaiya Suriyun) is playing the matchmaker (เฒ่าแก่) for Pira. Phanom and Pira go to Mae Sai for scientific studies. The ruffians are also going in Mae Sai area to recruit young girls. Ruffians hear about a place near a waterfall with many beautiful girls swimming. So they are hanging around as beautiful girls have been seen bathing. The girls are then attacked by the ruffians but Phanom, being around, is helping and protecting Haofa. They are snakes but Haofa is an human being. A romance is starting between Phanom and Haofa but he cannot go in the cave as it is guarded by snakes. Haodam discloses the incident to the snake queen. According to the snake Queen’s rules, nobody is allowed to meet human beings. Chom is accompanying Phanom and is still longing for his lost wife and baby. There is a funny interlude when veteran comic actor, Sithao Petcharoen, is tortured by a fat amazon. Phanom is captured when entering the cave. The Snake Queen condemns him to death but Haofa helps him to flee. Meanwhile snake hunters are back again to attack the hill around the cave. The ruffians are using experts (Lor Tok! Sukon Koewliam!) able to catch snakes (หมองู). Comic sequences happen as they are all useless to charm snakes. The ruffians finally capture the snake girls and the Queen is even shot. The end of the snake kingdom is a disaster. Phanom promises to take care of Haofa and helps to find her father. Haofa wishes to release her other snake sisters. The ruffians try to abuse the snake girls and use them as prostitutes but they transform themselves into venomous snakes. Police finally catches all the ruffians but it is too late as all snakes have been killed. Snakes are really killed and cut in this movie. Only one snake girl, Haodong, survives and she goes back to the snake cave. Haofa is finally reunited with her father. This movie can also be found under Chinese name "蛇國女王'' in China and distributed by Great China Film Co (H.K.). Different character names are used in the Chinese version (Ng Chung for Phanom, Ho Hua for Haofa, Hsiao Hua for Haodam, Chung Shan for Chom, Mei lee for Booloi). The original Thai version of แม่งู lasts 2 hours 50 minutes. The Chinese version has been reduced to 1h30mn only. “Once upon the west” soundtrack is used in the Chinese version. All songs have cut in the Chinese version. Similar to many 1960-1970s Thai movies, it features a long running time and a dozen of songs.

As the ladies throw their clothes away, the three men have to wear Tarzan clothes. The ladies end up in bikini also. Fighting happens with ruffians. They try to release the village leader but without success. One of Sombat’s friends loses his girlfriend, being raped and killed by ruffians. Kaenjai Meenakanit is the real leader of the ruffians. She likes Sombat. Sombat has to be very careful as Chanee knows who he is. One of Sombat’s friend disguises himself into a weird Chinese master. Aranya and her girls are captured while trying to meet Sombat. Krai changes side. Final heavy fightings happen. Krai and Chanee shot each other. Chadaporn, who holds a timer bomb, throws herself on Kaenjai as she understands she has been dumped by Chanee and Kaenjai.

The masked vigilante crimefighter, called Red Eagle is back with Mitr Chaibancha playing the leading role. In this movie several influential people are mysteriously killed when they receive a red ceramic Buddha statue. They died of sudden fear. Somebody is also using Red Eagle identity to commit murders so the hero changes his mask to gold and becomes Golden Eagle. The mysterious organisation wishes to take over Thai government. Golden Eagle is investigating against this mysterious organisation in parallel of the Thai police. Trained in psychic powers by Rasputin, the head of the mysterious organisation kills by beaming his thoughts and visage through red ceramic Buddha statues. He can split himself into three images and can hypnotize remotely. He even put his heart out of his body into a vessel for protection. It is the first movie directed by Mitr Chaibancha. It is also the last movie in which Mitr Chaibancha played. Mitr died after falling from a rope ladder that was dangling from a helicopter. He was only 36 years old. Many Thai theaters paid respect to Mitr Chaibancha before showing "Golden Eagle" movie by placing a Pepsi bottle in front of a picture of the Thai actor. It was said that Mitr Chaibancha liked Pepsi. 40 copies were done for "Golden Eagle" movie as it was the last movie of Mitr Chaibancha. Normally only a few copies were done per movie.

Thai movie กายทิพย์ was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 2h30mn but only 1h00 is left to be seen. Jaomanat (Sarinthip Siriwan) is Atibadi’s domestic helper. Jaomanat has two sons Phayoton (Sombat Methanee) and Pontet (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), playing a gay character (กะเทย). Atibadi (Chana Sriubon) has two daughters Romadee (Aranya Namwong) and Deuan Rung (Sopha Sataporn). Atibadi’s wife (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit), called Nimnuan, is dead already but her soul (วิญญาณ) has possessed Jaomanat. Three house spirits (ศาลพระภูมิเจ้าที่) are also involved. Two of them are played by Sukon Koewliam and Sithao Petcharoen. Krai Kanchit, a hairdresser, gets warned by Phayoton not to disturb Jaomanat anymore. Fighting in slum(สลัม) happens between Phayoton and Krai. Krai is defeated. Sawin Sawangrat comes later with more men to beat Phayoton but the three house spirits help him. สุมาลี ทองหล่อ, mother of Khomapat Attaya, wishes to grab Atibadi. Finally Atibadi takes Sumalee as his new wife. During the wedding party, Khomapat comes with Ruj Ronnapop but Khomapat has more interest in Phayoton. Sompong Phonmitr is playing a หมอทำเสน่ห์. Sumalee and Sawin visit the magician at the same time but they get teased again by the spirits. Krai comes at that time and meets Sumalee. They become lovers. Sumalee and Atibadi spend their honeymoon in Pattaya. Deuan Rung likes Phayoton but this one manages to have his brother Pontet taking care of her so that he can be with Romadee. Meanwhile Krai has seduced also Khomapat so causing Sumalee's ire. She sends Pan Borapet and Sawin to teach (สังสอน) Krai but they kill him. Upset, she also kills Pan Borapet and Sawin. Sumalee is feeling sad (น้อยใจ). Op Boonthit identifies that Nimnuan’s sould (วิญญาณ) is inside Jaomanat. A proper ceremony needs to be done. Sumalee wishes to interrupt it. Monks need to be brought. While the soul is about to exit, Sumalee prevents the holy water to be poured. She is struck by a lighting and dies. Ruj is ravaged. Finally Jaomanat can fully recover.

Kan (Sombat Methanee), a policeman, shoots Saen's father, who is smuggling illegal goods. Saen (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to avenge his father. He invites Kan for a birthday party and drugs him. When Kan wakes up, a dead man is found near him. Kan is accused of murder and is sent ten years in jail. Kan promises to use a baton (คมแฝก) and not a gun anymore for his revenge. Krai Kanchit is a new policeman in the city. Sukon Koewliam, an undertaker (สัปเหร่อ), supports Kan. Kan enters Saen's house to find his mother and sister. Achan (Aranya Namwong), Saen's younger sister, promises to help but she finally betrays him. Kan is captured by Saen. Feeling guilty, Achan releases him. Kan takes refuge in the undertaker’s home. Pleung (Luechai Natnat) arrives in the city and ends up in Sithao's bar. A new ruffian Fai (มือดี)(เพชร พิษณุ) arrives in Saen's team. Kan declares his love to Achan. Ruj Ronnapop (ขายยา) warns Kan about the new hitman. Kan bewares of Fai and Pleung despite Ruj confirms Fai is finally on their side. Fai is Pleung’s younger brother. Fighting happens between Kan, Ruj, Pleung and Saen's men in Sithao's bar. Police has to intervene. Saen wishes to hire Pleung. While simulating being a movie dubber, Ruj finds weapons hidden in wooden crates. He meets Kalog (Sasithorn Phetrung). Kan sends a grenade to destroy the weapons stock as Saen plans to hurt Thailand. Police inspector Krai comes to arrest Saen but another teammate pretends the weapons belong to him. Achan warns Kalog, younger sister of Kan, about Saen's activities. Kalog succumbs to Ruj. Robbery of a house is failing, and a few ruffians are killed. Saen suspects Kalog is the one disclosing his activities schedule to Kan. Her mother tries to intervene but she is killed. Achan discloses that she is the one warning Kan. Saen and his men storm Sithao's bar. Kan is knocked out. As Saen cannot shoot a man sleeping, he closes his eyes before firing. Dokmai interposes and she is the one being shot. Upset, Saen defies Kan and his friends as he kidnapped the three ladies. Saen, Fai and Ruj go to release them but they have to surrender. It is disclosed that Kan is new chief district and both Fai and Rj being undercover policemen. Caretaker Sukon Koewliam is ordered to prepare three coffins. Kan and his friends have to prepare their own graves (ฝังตัวเอง). Sithao helps to release the ladies and gives them guns. Sukon bring back coffins containing policemen. Shooting happens between policemen and ruffians. Saen finally causes his stock of dynamite to explode as his cigar falls on it. Pleung character played by Luechai Natnat disappears after a while during the movie. It is said it was killed. Maybe there was a conflict between Luechai Natnat and the producer / director so the character Pleung has to be removed.

Saeng Rawee (แสงระวี)(Metta Roongrat), young lady, just weds with Sing's father but she still tries to seduce the son Sing (สิงห์) (Mitr Chaibancha). The father blames his son (ลูกอกตัญญู) and decides to break the relationship with him (เลิกเป็นลูกพ่อกัน). Saeng Rawee has another lover called Kam Maen (คำแมน), who is the local ruffians leader (ดินแดนอิทธิพล). Seua (เสือ)(สมชาย ศรีภูมิ) is Sing's younger brother and becomes a bad guy under Kam Maen's guidance. Finally the father dies and legates everything to Sing. Saeng Rawee and Kam Maen try everything to destroy the testament (พินัยกรรม). Ruffians ask for the testament from doctor Phan. As he fights back he is shot dead and his wife is kidnapped. Phum Reun (ภุมริน), a friend, informs Sing regarding the latest news regarding his father's death, the doctor death and his young brother becoming a bad guy (โจร). Doctor (หมอ) Phan was his friend so Sing needs to go home to investigate who killed him. Sing gathers 7 friends to fight back against Kam Maen. One of them is Dokrak (ดอกรัก)(Choomporn Theppitak). Doktoi (ดอกเตย), owner of a local bar, recruits Dokrak, good singer, as he protects her versus ruffians led by Chanee Yotchai. Doktoi is Kam Maen's minor wife but there is no real love so she provides useful information to Dokrak. Sing and his friends prepare a plan. Seua, Sing's young brother, drinks heavily. Sing wants to bring him back to the right path (สายเลือดเดียวกัน). The two brothers fight as Sing doesn't want his brother Seua to become a bad guy. Ruffians would like to get the whole money so push the two brothers against each other. Sing meets Thaephee (Petchara Chaowara), who is a teacher inside the village. Sing's team eliminates one ruffians team. But Sing is then kidnapped. Seua plans to help his brother by exchanging Sing versus Kam Maen's daughter Vick. Kam Maen sells weapons and bombs to reds insurrection in order to use for rebellion against Thai government. He is a traitor (ขายชาติ). Kam Maen needs the testament to get more money to buy weapons. He tortures Sing to know the truth. Thae Phee is ready to everything (ยอมเป็นเมีย) to avoid Sing to become blind. But hopefully his friends can help and free him. The movie finishes with various shootings in which Sing's friends die, Seua dies and Sarawee dies by saving Sing's life against Kam Maen. Villagers are fighting against the traitors and the Thai flag is shown as the final image. The reds menace was present during decade 1960s in Northeastern region of Thailand. So such films were part of governmental propaganda. The movie is more than 2 hours and 20 minutes long. Some parts of the movie are missing and have been cut. Either they were in bad condition or Lepso Studio has to cut the movie to fit into a limited VCD format. There is no more original soundtrack as it is a 16mm movie. It is too bad as original songs are lost. Movie colors are wiped out.

A robber has a young son, called Praiwan. They save one young woman and her baby girl. In parallel, her husband, who is a king, is expelled from his kingdom and imprisoned. The baby girl is called Suriya Noi (daughter of the sun) and has a powerful necklace. Whoever wants to catch her will suffer heat and be burnt. Praiwan and Suriya Noi sympathize and have supernatural powers (ผู้วิเศษ). Finally Suriya Noi and her mother go back to the kingdom. But the mother is imprisoned and the daughter is given to another family, where she is treated as a slave. A few years have passed, Praiwan has become an adult. He searches for Suriya Noi. He is trapped by the king and his mistress, who pretends to be Suriya Noi. She wants to become the queen but the imposture is uncovered. Praiwan makes Suriya Noi pregnant. Suriya Noi has a child called Suriyan. Despite Praiwan bad behavior, Suriyan keeps gratitude (กตัญญู) over her father. A sorcerer (แม่มด) wishes to help the imposter king in order to defeat Suriya Noi and Suriyan. They can be only defeated if their husband / father kills them. The plan fails and the movie ends happily with the right king reinstalled and Praiwan, Suriya Noi and Suriyan reunited as a family. A remake was done in 1986 with Sorapong Chatree. The remake takes place in 20th century and machine guns fights have replaced sword fighting.

Kangwan (กังวาน) and Karaket (การะเกด) meet each other in a Buddhist temple at night time. Kangwan, young and rich bachelor, is studying magic and ghosts knowledge (วิชาชุบชีวิต). Karaket brings flowers to her mother grave, Nang Sopha. Ladies O and Karaket are half sisters, i.e. same father but different mothers. O's mother was the main wife. Karaket's mother, Nang Sopha, was the minor wife (เมียน้อย). Kangwan's father and the two daughters' father agreed to have Kangwan marry one of the two daughters. O and her mother are jealous towards Karaket especially as Kangwan has more interest into Karaket than into O. The mother decides to have Karaket killed. She is already responsible of Karaket's mother death twenty years ago by poisoning. The mother and her maid try to poison Karaket's drinking water. Nang Sopha ghost protects her daughter but no killing shall be done to avoid adding more sins to her karma (กรรม). The poisoning attempt fails thanks to the ghost intervention. The bad mother then uses a monk to purify the house and install a sacred thread around the house to prevent ghosts from entering. Kangwan has to go to India to continue his studies. Meanwhile the bad mother attempts another trial to kill Karaket by putting a snake inside a box. This time due to sacred tread (สายสิญจน์) the ghost cannot help her and she dies following the snake bite. Kangwan is at Taj Mahal when Karaket's spirit asks for help. It is time for judgement in hell and Phra Yom (God of the underworld) takes Karaket with him. Kangwan has to fulfill the earlier promise between both families and is forced to marry O. But thanks to his knowledge in white magic, his soul (วิญญาณ) goes to hell to pick up Karaket and brings her back in the living world. The trueness behind Karaket's death is known. The mother sizes a gun and kills her maid, who has revealed the truth, and is strangled by Nang Sopha ghost before being able to kill Karaket a second time. Kangwan and Karaket can marry happily. In this old movie, there are typical dog howlings to indicate ghosts coming and Fx effect are limited to images superposition for ghosts apparition. This great old 1960s movie with superstars Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowara is typical of old Thai movies with the bad girl (นางอิจฉา) trying everything to be the main actor's girlfriend and always trying to get rid of the leading actress (นางเอก).

Thida (Petchara Chaowarat ) is the daughter of village headman Lao Song. Krai seems to play a double game. Maew Daeng guerilla embuscades Chat Chao Praya in the jungle. Kundong helps Chat Chao Praya but gets captured. Following shootings, Chat Chao Praya is injured but succeeds to escape. He is cured by Thida. During a village fair, the guerilla (มือปืน) shoots villagers. Chat Chao Praya gets rid of them and is brought to the attention of Thida's father, Lao Song. The left sequence ends here.

Rin (Mitr Chaibancha) is not convinced as he doesn’t know Rose. Sifu (Choomporn Theppitak), being a relative of Princess Pa, wishes to kill Princess Pa and Rose to get the family heritage. Rose gets shot by Sifu and falls into the sea. Rose changes her nickname to Luk Maew (ลูกแมว) to avoid ruffians to find her. Luk Maew gets some help from doctor Adul Dulyarat. As Rose has disappeared, the mother has already a new plan to marry her son Rin to another niece of Princess Pa, i.e. Duang Kaew (Kingdao Daranee). While visiting a school, Rin is hurt by a ball sent by Luk Maew. They meet for the first time. Rin brings Luk Maew back to his home. Luk Maew shall be the baby-sitter for his disabled niece. In the home, there are also Rin’s mother and her two daughters Metta Roongrat and Preeya Roongrueng. Luk Maew is not welcomed. Luk Maew meets Preuhat Boonlong, being the father of the niece. He cannot meet his daughter as the mother considers him as a poor man. Sifu threatens Metta following a night she was drunk. Meanwhile ruffians think that Luk Maew and Rose are the same person. To be safe, Luk Maew flees from the house and claims to join her fiancé. Rin is disappointed and finally accepts to marry Duang Kaew per his mother's request. Luk Maew takes refuge in Preuhat's home and learns about the wedding through newspapers. About to leave home, Luk Maew is captured by Paen Pleumsachai and Sifu. Seeing the wedding card, Sifu decides to storm the wedding as he realises that his boss Dusit (Sawin Sawangrat) betrayed him. Sifu was supposed to marry Duang Kaew. Sifu shoots Dusit and plans to use Luk Maew as a hostage. Rin and Krai Kanchit storm Sifu's den to release Luk Maew. Metta Roongrat is the one, who shoots Sifu, to take revenge as he abused her when she was drunk. There is a misunderstanding as Luk Maew believes that only Krai helped to release her. Two lawyers ask the mother to pay her debts. Preuhat pays the debts and the mother accepts again Preuhat as son- in-law and apologizes for her misunderstanding. Disappointed, Rin is about to leave Thailand. Luuk Maew fails to meet him at the airport, but luckily thanks to Preuhat, the misunderstanding is solved.

Thai movie ฆ่ายัดกล่อง is based on a case, which is a real story and occurred in year 1965. Regarding the assassin, it was จรินทร์ สิทธิธรรม ฉายา “กระทิงแดง ศิษย์พระกาฬ”. The victim is teen กิมบั๊ก แซ่อึ้ง being 15 years old. He killed this teen and put the body in a box (ส่งศพมาทางรถไฟ) and throws it in a train going to Chiang Mai. As he was cooperative during investigation, he didn't get death sentence but life imprisonment. Movie director is อัจฉราพันธ์. Actors also include เมืองเริง ปัทมินทร์ and กิติกร สุนทรปักษิ. The movie lasts 1h46mn and is a 16mm film in mute format. The 16mm film has still a colorful image but it was never released commercially in Thailand so it is still in mute mode as 16mm films require live dubbing. The movie is probably incomplete as 1960s movies were often more than two hours long. The movie seems to diverge compared to the real police case. Two schoolmates including Kitikorn (กิติกร สุนทรปักษิ) are fighting together because of a female student. Sarinthip Siriwan is Kitikorn’s mother. The husband is a drunkard. The son Kitikorn protects his mother. The mother and stepfather finally stab each other. Kitikorn goes to Bangkok. He meets a man and his daughter (Prim Praphaporn) as soup sellers. Prim appreciates Kitikorn. Kitikorn takes refuge in an uncle's home in Bangkok. Sukon Koewliam plays a policeman role. The two youngsters, Prim and Kitikorn, leave to stay together. Kaenjai Meenakanit meets Kitikorn and convinces him to go to hotel room. It is a trick as in the hotel room, a photographer takes a picture of them. He gets threatened by Krai Kanchit. Prim goes to Krai's house and gets some money. The young man is threatened again and understands he has been fooled by Kaenchai. A movie reel must be missing as Kitikorn is then seen at hospital with Prim, going to give birth. His child unfortunately dies. Kitikorn goes to see Kaenchai again and blames her. As she wants to get rid of him by giving him money, he hits her. He needs to buy medicine for Prim but he has no money. Kitikorn steals some goods at the pharmacy but a man is killed during the fighting. Police is involved. The police leader enquiries over Krai. Police visits Prim's home but Kitikorn flees before. Police chases him in the countryside. He hides in a Buddha cave. A monk finds him. Police asks him to surrender. Prim and his uncle ask him also. The monk convinces him to surrender.
