Thai movie เร็วทะลุเร็ว / Vengeance Of An Assassin was released in year 2014. It is the last movie directed by Panna Rittikrai before his death. This movie lasts 1h30mn. A young boy called Phiti wishes to know what happened to his parents, who died earlier. The uncle has been raising the two children but refuses to disclose anything as it can only bring troubles to them. The uncle keeps indulging in beers to forget. He holds a key to a secret cabinet. It includes secret documents and VHS tapes featuring military trainings. Dam Datsakorn, now a monk, was former colleague of the father. Phiti wishing to know the truth leaves the uncle's home and goes to find Dam. Than, his younger brother stays with the uncle. Phiti meets also Athong, former friend of his father and now understands the truth. He gets revenge one by one through some impressive killings (in a restaurant with shootings happening at waist level, in a golf course...). The ruffians’ leader is traitor Kowit Wattanakul, who was also one of the father’s former friends. The boy helps a young lady wearing blond wig, in traditional costume (นางรำ) and chased by a killer. The girl was used as bait. Her teacher (ครู) is killed. Dam is also killed. The boy succeeds to defeat the ruffians but is severely injured. A doctor (หมอจีน) helps them and they take refuge in the uncle's house. Ruffians follow them there. The young lady is kidnapped and fightings happen on a moving train. Through daring final fightings, ruffians are defeated.

Pho Jong (Dam Datsakorn) is the local village leader, who lends money to villagers and becomes rich by collecting interests (เก็บดอกเบี้ย). For เทพี annual festival, Pho Jong has selected a young lady, called See Wan, to represent the village. She is reluctant to join but has no choice as her mother Mae Kam Soi has debts towards Pho Jong. If she wins, then the reward will be used to pay the debts. Somrak and See Wan love each other but Somrak is poor. See Wan's mother, being an alcoholic, wishes her daughter to marry Jit, Pho Jong's son. Jit is a useless guy and is only doing debts collection. Duangjai is Pho Jong's daughter. Jit tries to seduce See Wan. It causes a misunderstanding between See Wan and Somrak. Somrak is disappointed to see See Wan sitting on Jit's motorbike. The popular way to travel in the village is to use an iron buffalo (tiller with big wheels used in rice fields). Pho Jong plans to control the festival victory with local subdistrict headman (กำนัน) support (เจนภพ จบกระบวนวรรณ). Sing, Somrak's friend, seduces Duangjai and a relationship starts. Jit invites a Mickael Jackson double and convinces his father it is the real one! Pho Jong is tired that his son is useless. Jit promises to change and is convinced that a wedding with See Wan will make him a better man. Pho Jong organises an engagement parade to See Wan's mother house in order to ask for See Wan's hand. The mother Kam Soi is of course willing. Some other villagers tease Pho Jong that He is rich because of heavy interest (100ละสิบ) he is always asking for. It is a reference to famous movie มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง featuring the song สิบหมื่น. See Wan announces she refuses the wedding as she loves Somrak and she will not join the beauty contest. Upset, Jit hires Pao Porapak to kidnap See Wan. See Wan is kidnapped by Pao and his men but See Wan’s friends alert the villagers. Pho Jung is upset with his son's behaviour and joins the efforts to release See Wan. Somrak, Duangjai, Sing and his friends also join. Fighting occurs. Kidnappers get killed. Jit apologizes and Pho Jung accepts his daughter to marry Sing. Somrak and See Wan can finally have happiness.

The plan fails as the diamonds are stolen (เพชรพันล้านถูกปล้น). Each leader suspects the other groups. Chat tells Phi Pat that Pracha is involved. Meanwhile, Chit (Sorapong Chatree) gives a letter to Pracha’s younger sister as he is not at home. Pracha is kidnapped. The sister suspects Chit. Chit promised to his mother to be a good guy as taxi driver and quits Pat's team. Phi Pat kidnaps his mother to force him to work for him. The sister visits Chit but she gets molested as he is drunk. He promises to take responsability of everything. Meanwhile Phi Pat’s business is failing again as some diamonds are stolen again. Phi Pat suspects Chat this time as Pracha is out of action. Meanwhile the sister storms Phi Pat’s house to release her brother Pracha but it fails. Phi Pat gets proof that Chat is a traitor so he storms his house but Chat succeeds to flee. Both Pat and Chat wish to get rid of each other. Phi Pat uses Chit to transport and exchange diamonds. Chat brings the mess and steals the diamonds thanks to a traitor (หักหลัง). The sister finally frees her brother Pracha. Pat asks Chit to get back the diamonds and to kill the traitor in order to get his mother released. Pracha and his sister succeed to release the mother and all together get rid of Pat and Chat. During decade 1990s Sorapong Chatree was still the main actor of some action movies targeted for countryside. Being 45 years old already, most of action scenes are played by other actors.

Passakorn wishes his girlfriend to find another job as she is working in a pub to welcome guests. Pawinee names Passakorn’s girlfriend as Mae Nak! Ruffians try to kill Passakorn and chairman Sombat but they fail again. While in a pub, Rith and ruffians storm it to kill Passakorn. His girlfriend is shot dead by Rith. Upset, Passakorn chases Rith but he is stunned by Dam before able to get revenge on Rith. On a boat, Passakorn discovers that the ruffians' big boss is Kangwan! Tied, Passakorn is thrown in the water. Pawinee, being an outstanding diver, saves him again. Kangwan comes to Pattaya to do business for weapons (อาวุธร้าย M48) with foreigners. Chased by ruffians, Passakorn and Pawinee get help from Krung. Ken betrays Pawinee by failing to put a timing bomb on Kangwan's boat. Kangwan and Dam are doing business at the Cambodian border. Thai navy tries to stop them but they take hostages. Fighting happens causing Kangwan and Dam to be killed. Krung, showing his real face, wishes to take over the weapons. In a last move to show he wasn’t a bad guy, Ken sacrifices his life to neutralize Krung.

They attack again Pitip and the two men but then retreat unwilling to enter deeply the jungle knowing Pitip's skills. Hill tribes Maew Dam (แมวดำ) and Maew Daeng (แมวแดง) are enemies for many years. Vida is Pitip's sister. Pitip meets Mayee, his girlfriend. Young lady Nam Fong is accompanying her. Long Li defies Pitip as he is upset that Mayee prefers Pitip to him. He is defeated and promises revenge. Buri is injured. Lam Fong, fond of Buri, visits him at nighttime. The next day Long Li agresses Lam Fong but Mayee helps her. Lam Fong goes with Vida to accompany the two Bangkokian guys back to their home. Pho Tao is upset and is looking for his daughters. Pitip helps the Bangkokian guys so Pho Tao must retreat. His daughters refuse to go back (ไม่ยอมกลับ). Pitip's father, head of the village, is shot by Long Li. A villager, called Bai, kidnaps Vida to abuse her but he gets killed by Long Li. Being evil, Long Li also tries to abuse Vida but hopefully Pitip is helping her. Meanwhile Pho Tao's men capture Buri and his friend. Following a winning duel against a hill tribe villager, Buri and his friend Piano are released. Pitip gets grenades sold by a local shaman. Pho Tao forbids his daughters to go to the opposite village anymore and prepare to attack it. The two villagers’ groups fight against each other. Pho Tao's wife releases her two daughters following advice of the local shaman (หมอผี) that only her daughters can stop the killing. Grenades help to neutralize Pho Tao's men. Pitip is about to defeat Pho Tao and revenges his father but Mayee stops him announcing that Long Li was the mastermind. Long Li is killed. Peace is back between the two villages and Pho Tao does not prevent the love between Pitip and Mayee anymore. Romance also happens between Buri and Lam Fong, between Piano and Vida.

Thai movie เพชรตาแมว (1989) lasts 1h34mn. Chai (Apichat Halamjiak), Chat coming with his daughter, Dam (Dam Datsakorn) are involved to catch a mystic cat spirit (แมวดำตาเพชร). They wish to get a diamond located in the cat's eyes. Some hunters fail to kill it so they are going in a remote mountain to catch it in his cave. The cat makes the hunters to kill each other. Chat finally gets the diamond and before dying, he asks Chai to give it to his daughter when she is adult. Years have passed. Kong Yot (Yuranan PamornMontri) is a policeman (หมวด) and Chai's good friend. Busarat (Thida Thidarat), Chat's daughter, is the real owner of the diamond. She was raised by Dam. Sia, older man, wishes to marry Busarat but she doesn't love him. Niphon uses a professional masseuse (หมอนวด) as a fake nurse to take care about Chai. He wishes to get the diamond also. But the nurse is thinking about a wedding being interested by the heritage but Kong Yot is around. Kong Yot hires real Busarat as nurse as he knows she is dedicated as he met her before in hospital. Three ladies now claim to be Busarat. One dies by falling in the stairs being shocked seeing somebody disguised like a ghost. Niphon (Kowit Wattanakul) gets blamed as he guaranteed she was real Busarat. Another supposed young lady, foreigner Natalie, asks for the diamond also. She is lover with the house driver. They end up in jail as identified as dishonest people by Kong Yot. Chai finally gives the diamond to another Busaba following nightmares. Chai wishes Busaba's father to be with her. Back to her province, gun shooting happens with Sia as he still wants Busaba to be his wife. Dam is injured during the shooting and Busaba realises she is the real daughter of Chai as she doesn't have the same blood group as Dam. Niphon and fake Busaba are lovers. Finally Niphon's wife, Niphon and fake Busaba kill each other due to greed. Only the real owner can keep the diamond safely. Busaba, identified as Chat's daughter, receives the diamond and following a dream involving the spirit (วิญญาณ), she brings it back to the cave. She can have now happiness with Krong Yot. A former version of this movie was released in year 1972 featuring Phairoj Jaising and Naiyana Shewanan. A TV adaptation through a ละคร was released in year 1999.

The image is pretty sharp. Ruffians led by Dam Datsakorn and Ko (Chat Mongkolchai) are shooting at Thai police led by Pukong Aki (Bin Banleurit). Ruffians succeed to flee. While fleeing through the forest, they storm a house, kill the father, rape his three daughters and then kill them. The fourth daughter, called Usa (Thida Thidarat), asks for Aki's support. She wishes to get revenge. She learns that Ko has a scar. She is selling insurance life in order to approach them. One of the men wishes to go out with Usa but she refuses. Upset, he goes with a young prostitute. The mamasan argues it is her first time. After having made love, she shoots him dead as a revenge of the three girls killed. Another of the ruffians is killed by a lady while repairing a car. Ruffians start to be more alert while Aki is also investigating those deaths. All those ladies are Usa’s friends helping for revenge (ล้างแค้น). Six ladies and Usa make a group of 7 ladies so giving the movie name as 7 สาวดินระเบิด (7 dynamite ladies). A third ruffian is killed by another lady (เด็กเวร). Ruffians start to be stressed and investigate on the relatives of the three previously killed ladies. One of the ruffians’ leaders sees their domestic helper called Wilai putting some special powder (ยาพิษ) in the food. Another lady helps Wilai on time. Aki suspects Usa to be involved (ความหวังดี) as all murders are related with women, who know Usa... One of the ladies, called Sawanee, injures one of the ruffians, who succeeds to flee. Dam and Ko are now aware it is linked to Usa. Usa is captured (เรามาใช้นามสกุลเดี่ยวกันดีกว่า) and the ruffians asks the six other ladies to surrender in order to spare Usa's life. Aki intervenes. Aki is captured by ruffians also. The six ladies storm the ruffians’ den but heavy shooting occurs. Ruffians are defeated but Sawanee dies by protecting Aki.

Thieves (ผู้ร้าย) plan to rob a bank van. Pen (Sorapong Chatree) asks 40% of the gains. During the robbing, Pen is injured and left behind by his colleagues. He is captured by the police but other ruffians come back to shoot all of them to avoid leaving proofs behind. Mot (Chaiyan Sorakrai) is a policeman wishing to solve the bank robbers case. Pen flees from the hospital. Montri (Dam Datsakorn) is the ruffians leader. Pen has fight with his former colleagues and get support from Kum, his old friend. Later on, Kum gets beaten by Montri's ruffians. Kum is ready for revenge over Montri. Pen and Mot are brothers (สายเลือดเดียวกัน) so Mot is dismissed from this case by his superior. Mot wishes to catch his own brother. Pen did such job in order to pay studies for Mot, his younger brother. Pen didn't study high so he had to do such illegal activities to get money to pay for his young brother's education. Ruffians kill Pen's father as he refuses to disclose where his son is hiding. Police head uses a policewoman to make Montri fall. It is a failure and her life is saved thanks to Pen and Mot. Mot quits police. A mysterious informer keeps giving hints to the police woman. It is Mot pushing for this case to be solved. Surat is another ruffians leader behind. Pen protects Mot from behind. Montri is looking for fake money and contacts Surat. Police, ruffians, Mot and Pen all meet during the transaction. During final shootings, Pen sacrifices his life to save Mot. Mot finally understands that his brother was a good guy. This end of decade 1980s action movie is part of movies, where Sorapong Chatree getting older has to share the leading actor role with younger actors such as Chaiyan Sorakrai. Similar to Thai movie เพชรผ่าปืน (1990), Sorapong Chatree plays the bad guy forced by life circumstances and Chaiyan Sorakrai is his younger brother wishing to stop him.

This movie is based on a real story that happened in 1964. A huge crocodile terrorizes a local communauty and wildly eats people (อาละวาดกินคน). A team of three policemen arrives including a new police inspector (นายตำรวจ). The crocodile causes again a rampage during a temple fair. Pornthip, daughter of the subdistrict headman (กำนัน), is saved by the police inspector. Her younger sister, Pen, just comes back from Bangkok after long studies. They visit a famous medium (อาจารย์). He mentions that the crocodile is possessed by a spirit (เป็นจระเข้เจ้า). A crocodile hunter is recruited and also a crocodile expert (หมอจระเข้) to get rid of Ai Dang, the crocodile's nickname given by the villagers. The crocodile hunter, Khun Sak, is played by veteran actor Dam Datsakorn. The subdistrict headman, the village headman (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) and a local rich Chinese merchant help each other (รวมมือ) for a reward to catch the crocodile. Jealousy happens between village men and the policemen regarding the subdistrict headman's beautiful daughters. Ai Dang (ไอ้ด่าง) is an intelligent crocodile so it is difficult to catch it. The crocodile expert is killed. Porn gives food to the crocodile in order that Ai Dang is full (กินอิ่มแล้ว) and so avoid any danger for the police inspector and villagers. The police inspector tries to catch the crocodile and puts nets in places but to no avail. Tot, local villager, comes to get Pen's hand but the subdistrict headman refuses as Tot is a rich but lazy guy (เรียนไม่เรียนไม่สำคัญ ถ้ามีตังค์ซื้อตำแหน่ง). There is jaleousy between Porn and Pen over the police inspector. Pen becomes crazy (บ้าที่สุด) and wishes to win over her sister (ต้องชนะให้ได้). Police believes that crocodile Ai Dang is dead as no more rampage happens. Pen pushes Porn in the water when she is feeding Ai Dang. It fails. Ai Dang is hungry again and eats a cow. Police management wants results. Porn wishes to stop seeing the police inspector as she loves her younger sister so much despite she did bad (ทำชั่ว). The two sisters are reconciliated. Ai Dang starts to eat people again. By using bombs and helicopter the police inspector succeeds to chase it and have it killed. Two movies have been done regarding Ai Dang crocodile, one in 1988 and one in 2005. The movie has poor Fx as the crocodile and actors are rarely on same shot. This movie mixes romance with a crocodile story based on real facts.

During Vietnam war some Thai soldiers are facing the Vietcong resistance. It is their last days of their engagement. One of them, Athit, has a Vietnamese girlfriend called Cheut Cheun, but needs to be separated from her. Athit promises to come back. Due to the South Vietnam invasion by North Vietnam, he cannot keep his promise. Many Vietnamese boat people then flee to Hong Kong. Cheut Cheun's father forces his daughter to leave Vietnam in order to secure a better future for her. The smugglers are part of the mafia. Those evil men rape the young girl on the boat. The boat is hijacked by Thai ruffians and the boat people are put in a cage. The young girls are transferred to another boat by the ruffians, who wish to send them to Thailand. Athit and his friend Wat accidentally see Cheut Cheun. She was sent to a bordel. Athit promises to help. Cheut Cheun refuses to obey the mamasan (มาม่าซัง) so faces wrath from her and is tortured (ทรมาน). The mamasan considers the girls (เด็กผู้หญิง) as things and now wishes to send them to singapore due to the deranging noise made by Athit. It is difficult for Athit to free Cheut Cheun due to the mamasan's bad influence (อิทธิพล). He wishes to buy a ticket to send her back to Vietnam. He convinces the police to investigate and helps to gather proofs. He doesn't have enough money to buy her back so he tries to organize an escape but it fails. His friend Wat is killed. The police finally arrests (จับ) the mamasan and her ruffians. This movie highlights the boat people phenomena and the mafia taking profit of it. The main actress is from Philippines. She might had less concern that Thai actresses to play sexy scenes. Soundtrack from Dario Argento's horror movies is used.

Doo discovers that his wife is living with Pipop Pupinyo now (เมียพี่มีชู้). Unable to give a lesson to Pinyo, Doo receives help from Tiu! Both Ran and policewoman Apiradee Pawaputanon are given to mission to find the drug traffickers in Isan. Waew (Chat Mongkolchai) has arguments with Ran, disguised as a ruffian (นักเลง อาละวาด). Waew receives some help from Tiu and Doo. Tanum, following a recommendation from Waew, hires Tiu and Doo as drivers. Following some shootings and fightings, Ran is framed by Waew and Tanum. As Ran's gunshot unfortunately another policeman and a ruffian, Ran is accused in front of other policemen to be a rogue policeman. Ran is arrested and dismissed as police officer. Anyway he continues his investigation in order to clean his name. Waew takes profit of the ruffian's death to abuse his wife. Tiu kills Waew as he is one, who raped his wife. Tiu and Doo flee. They take refuge in Linda's house per Tanum's advice. As Tanum fails a few times during drug transportation, a waitress played by Apiradee is suspected. She is kidnapped. Seeing Tiu and Linda close together, Tanum is upset and frames him by warning the Police regarding the next drug transportation. Ran releases Apiradee. Tiu escapes to the Police. Bin follows behind but is stopped by the ruffians. Monk Seua meets Thai Police, who ask him if he saw any ruffians campement. Police attack the camp and Bin can succeed to flee. Seua Noi is upset and promises revenge as he believes Luang Pho Seua and Bin are undercover policemen. Ruffians try to burn Luang Pho Seua but Bin intervenes. Luang Pho escapes to the flames but he is chased by ruffians. Hopefully, hill tribes, led by Kom (Kom Akadej), chase them away. Bin is injured and cured by beautiful doctor Khru Mo (ครูหมอ) (ชลิดา เสาวดี). The village head is worried about revenge by Seua Khaem. Bin meets again the three men chasing him and has to flee. While fleeing, he meets Luang Pho Seua again. Hilltribe lady Baan Su Thong (Thitima Sangkapitak) is fond of Bin. They spend the night together, but Bin flees in the morning, so Baan Su Thong is looking for him. Ut (Dam Datsakorn) enters in the hilltribe village. A fight occurs between Bin and Ut. Ut is defeated. Kom saves the honor of his younger sister Baan Su Thong. Ut requests help for another ruffians’ leader (Rith Luecha). Ruffians storm the village. Many ruffians and villagers die in the fighting. Baan Su Thong is killed. Seua Noi is seriously injured by Bin. Khru Mo is kidnapped by Ut to cure Seua Noi. Finally, Seua Noi leaves as he feels better but as he gets sick again. Seua Noi gets help from Luang Pho Suea and is cured. He realizes that Luang Pho Suea is a real monk and a good man. Seua Noi's father is Seua Khaem. Luang Pho Seua is a former policeman. While trying to catch Seua Khaem many years ago, Luang Pho Seua shot his wife, being Seua Noi's mother, by mistake. So, the policeman became a monk. Hill tribe members and Bin surround the ruffians’ camp. Seua Kaem (Manop Aussawathep) wishes to take revenge and to shoot the monk but Seua Noi intervenes and is shot instead. Devastated, Seua Kaem gives up on his revenge. Luang Pho has been carrying the wife's bones with him and has been wandering around Thailand in order to meet Seua Khaem.

A Japanese VHS version is in 16:9 format but only lasts 1h29mn. It is a Sahamongkol production. A group of heavily armed Thai terrorists (including Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Pinyo Parnnui) are trained in Thailand. The Thai army commander asks to neutralize them asap. Tet (Krung Srivilai), previous military officer and now disabled, is sitting on a wheelchair and is pushed by his wife (Pissamai Wilaisak). He is providing advices to Thai army commander. Det (Sorapong Chatree) is Tet’s previous best fighter (นักรบ). Tet was his superior (ภูพาน) in year 1971. Both Tet and Det were the only survivors following heavy fightings at the Thai border. Tet lost use of his legs. The Daily News Press director sends his best journalist Ann (ศิริพร เอี่ยมสุนทร) to enquiry on a factory building illegally war weapons. The factory owner is Somsak Chaisongkram. The journalist receives threatening to stop her investigation on the factory. Meanwhile Tet demonstrates to Thai army commander his latest armored vehicle (รถวิเศษ). His own daughter (ระพีพรรณ กรสกุล) is the driver. Somsak is also very interested but Tet refuses to sell to him. Somsak sold weapons to communists causing Tet’s former military unit to be decimated. Ruffians storm Tet's house and kidnap his wife. Police inspector (Chaiyan Sorakrai) wishes to help but Tet prefers to handle by himself as those kidnappers are not standard ruffians. Det, learning the news from a newspaper, decides to flee while doing community work in order to help his former boss. Ann helps him to find Tet. During tentative exchange with Somsak, Tet's wife is killed through a remote bomb hidden on her body. It is war. Tet provides proofs to Ann that Somsak sold weapons illegally to Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam. Tet is kidnapped. A bomb is put in Daily news’ office by a renegade police officer but Police inspector Chaiyan stops it on time. Police locates the terrorist camp and tries to destroy it. Det uses the armored vehicle. Tet's daughter joins him with an individual flying machine. As policemen get difficulties, they wipe the terrorist opposition and release Tet. For this movie, Krung Srivilai made his head bald and was sitting in a wheelchair during whole movie. Toranong Srichua used his movie as a reference to show what risks could happen in Thailand in the future. Some happened (domestic terrorists, police officer betraying country, remote bombs on people…).

Bai (Chaiyan Sorakrai) is the son of poor farmers. Some cows disappear in the village. Ying, son of local subdistrict headman, is suspected (ชาวบ้านเดือดร้อน) to sell the cows to gamble. A fist fight happens between Ying and Bai as Bai challenges him on the money origin. Ying and his friends are strongly defeated by Bai and his brother Chom. Malee is Seua Fai's (Sombat Methanee) young sister. Yiem's ruffians kill Chom. Bai and his friend Sakorn (Kowit Wattanakul) take refuge in Seua Fai's territory. Romance starts between Bai and Malee. Seua protects villagers and punish those acting badly. Yiem's ruffians team perform robbery (ปล้น) by using Bai's name. They hide their face. The action is taking place during World War II with Japanese soldiers occupying Thailand. Bai and Seu Fai team help each other to neutralize a petrol stock maintained by Japanese soldiers. While visiting his mother, Bai is surprised by Yiem's ruffians. He succeeds to escape but a traitor is leading Yiem to Bai's hidden refuge. Yiem is bringing the police with him. Shootings happen. As Sakorn is seriously injured, he stays behind to stop Yiem's ruffians. Meanwhile Yiem sends teammates to kidnap Bai's parents so Bai's team has to split into two parts. Following his mother's request, Bai finally surrenders to the police. No thief can escape police. The real historical Bai is coming from Suphanburi province. He was a thief (โจร) very active after World War 2. He stayed in prison from 1953 to 1963. The real man Seua Bai (เสือใบ) has a small speech at the end of this movie. He is highlighting that his illegal life should not be followed. Other versions of Seua Bai were in 1971 (สุภาพบุรุษเสือใบ), 1998 (เสือ โจรพันธุ์เสือ). In 1971 version, the part related to the fight against Japanese invaders is much longer.

An impressive bunch of 1970s-1980s famous Thai actors are participating. Dam Datsakorn, more known for his ruffian leader role, is also the director. Dao Prasao (Sorapong Chatree) is similar to a lonesome cowboy but he has a strong kick (ตีนแรง) whenever somebody is looking for troubles. Taen (Toon Hiransap) wishes to befriend with Dao Prasao. Taen is chased by Sing Manorom's ruffians but gets help from Dao Prasao. Taen gives him a bag with 100 000 baht as a reward. Taeng, Taen's fiancee, is promised to ruffian Sing Manorom so Taen has no wish to live anymore. The 100 000 baht were supposed to be used while fleeing with Taeng. Diaw Dai (Wiyada Umarin), prostitute with sincere heart, helps them to hide from the ruffians. Tuang (Rith Luecha) is her evil pimp and wishes to take revenge following Diaw Dai betrayal. Dao Prasao promises to help Taen. Taeng (Jarunee Sooksawad) is the daughter of sub- district headman (kamnan) called Yot. Dao Prasao arrives as a mysterious wedding gift giver in order to enter more easily in Yot’s house. Causing a fire during the wedding eve, Dao Prasao takes profit of the mess to flee with Taeng. He is injured while helping her. Despite a plot from Tuang, all succeed to escape the ruffians. Diaw Dai has some feelings for Dao Prasao. Some feelings start also between Taeng and Dao Prasao. His real name is Kata. He left his home as his fiancee married his father while he was studying abroad. Meanwhile while visiting Taen's home, Taeng discovers he has already a fiancee! In fact his father wants to force him to marry a high society lady called Kaew (Thitima Sangkapitak). Feeling sad, Taeng is finally captured again by the ruffians. Aware of this, Dao Prasao with close friend Dang's support raid the ruffians nightclub. Jarunee excels in Thai boxing skill-set and they succeed to escape. Taeng is disappointed by Taen as he doesn't dare to oppose his father to protect their love (อยู่ในอำนาจบารมีของพ่อ). He is not as courageous as Dao Prasao. Taen feels hurt by Taeng’s words. Chumporn, head of ruffians, is leading a prostitution ring. They capture many ladies including Taeng, Kaew, Diaw Dai to sell them to an international buyer. Tuang kills Diaw Dai as a revenge. Dao Prasao and Taen successfully release the ladies through fierce fights on moving trucks and through motorized acrobatics. Taen wishes to show he has courage also. Kaew is killed during the battle. Taen and Taeng are reunited. Dao Prasao leaves them and continues his life as a lonesome cowboy. Dao Prasao has accomplishes his mission as Taen and Taeng can be happy together now. An earlier version with Sombat Methanee was shot in 1970.

Chairon is living alone as her parents died already. Thaem is defeated by Khongra on one to one fight. Friendship starts between Thaem and Khongra. Godfather (เจ้าพ่อ) Bamjong (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to recruit Khongra as he likes his style. Khongra discovers that the tractor was stolen by Mr Putr despite his disclaimer. Romance starts between Khongra and Chairon. All the illegal activities are handled by a local few godfathers including lady Sa (Aranya Namwong), Bamjong, Dam (Dam Datsakorn) and Reut (Rith Luecha). Chairon has been kidnapped and Khongra is ordered to leave the area within 24 hours. Meanwhile Khongra (เสียตัว) is also kidnapped by mysterious Amazons (Sopha played by Wiyada Umarin and Thitima Sangkapitak) but succeeds to escape. Gnoh (Kowit Wattanakul) is a policeman coming to arrest drug traffickers believed to be linked to local ruffians. Am, Khongra storm Putr's home to know where Chairon is. Before dying, Putr just says she is located at Beung Mai. While going to Beung Mai, they meet Sopha again. It is a trick to split Am, Wo and Khongra. In a fierce shooting, Wo is killed. Sa is suspected to have kidnapped Am. Khongra and Thaem are captured and imprisoned with Am. Chairon provides a hidden message but her behavior is noticed by the guard (ทรยศ). Chairon and Sopha are sentenced to death by Sa. Hopefully Khongra, who succeeds to escape, helps them on time. A festival for farmers is happening in Phailom district. Khongra is aware of the ruffians’ plan to intimidate farmers in order to finally possess the whole land in the area. Explosions happen during the festivities. Following various shootings and car chasing, all ruffians are killed or captured by Khongra, Am and police led by Gnoh. This Thai movie จ้าวนรก, directed by Payoong Payakul, is a typical 1980s action movie involving many key leading actors from decades 1970s-1980s.

Tong Chi fights against Norman as he believes he tries to seduce Asuma. Lao Thong and Norman also fight. Norman asks to meet Lao to buy weapons. Norman kidnaps Soyi as he wishes to infiltrate the ruffians. Lao tries to release his sister but he is defeated by Norman. Lao Thong releases Soyi and takes away the weapons with Tong Chi. Lao Thong defeats Norman but spares his life. Tong Chi hides weapons inside Lisu village. The village is stormed by ruffians. All gather to storm the ruffians' place. The big leader is identified as Decha (Kecha Plianvithee). Fightings and explosions occur with all ruffians being killed but unfortunately Lao and Tong Chi also die.

This movie is based on Southern Thai Local Literature. Twelve daughters are abandoned by their parents, who are too poor to educate so many children. The twelve daughters are rescued by a "Yak" woman who promises to take care about them as her own daughters. Meanwhile the local village headman chases Than up to his home and shoots his wife. This is his final crime as Than shoots him also. Arrived in Nan, Yot receives help from the local mafia head Sai Wan as he had arguments with a prostitute in a local hotel. Sai Wan recruits Yot. Meanwhile Than enters Pho Liang Rak's ruffian team. Fights happen between the local mafia teams. Yot identifies that Pho Liang Rak is responsible of his parents' death. Pho Liang Rak and his team are neutralized but then Yot and Than fight over the red jade. They finally realize they are brothers. They decide to sell the red jade to build a Buddhist temple. Tot takes revenge on Pho Luang's mother. They also kidnap Pho Luang's wife Taorung and ask for 500 000 baht (ผู้นรก) ransom. Pho Luang and his men chase after them. They take refuge in a Christian village (หมู่บ้านศาสนา). Kit and Seua Tot's team diverge and split. Seua Tot’s team falls into an embuscade and Seua Tot is left for dead. Fed up to always been chasen, Kit decides to counterattack. Kit shoots Pho Luang's men and through a final fight, both Pho Luang and Kit fall from a cliff but only Kit survives. Ot (Phairoj Jaising) takes over Pho Luang’s illegal business. Some ruffians led by Ot try to kill Kit. Kit ends up facing the policeman Pat (Porjed Kaenpetch). Pat is former lover of Taorung and still loves her. Taorung’s heart is still split but promises forever love to Kit (ดวงเดียว). Meanwhile Kit only sees himself as a staff of Taorung. He meets Farung (Supansa Nuengpirom) and asks her father (Sithao Petcharoen) to teach him Thai boxing. Ot and his men decide to get rid of Kit. Pat chases the ruffians and ends up in a duel with Ot. Kit helps Pat before Ot can shot him. Seua Thot also saves Kit but dies, being shot by Ot. All ruffians being neutralized, Kit ends up with both Taorung and Farung.

King Garuda (พญาครุฑ) comes down from his celestial residence to gamble with the King Prommathat in a dice game. King Garuda sees the beautiful Kaki and loves her immediately. King Garuda and Than love Kaki. Following a battle between Than and King Garuda, Kaki is kidnapped by King Garuda. King Garuda is a supernatural half-bird half-man creature living in a world different from the human beings world. Both the King Prommathat and the musician Than are sad. King Garuda visits again King Prommathat’s palace believing nobody knows he kidnapped Kaki. King Garuda is demystified by the musician Than. Following a poetry wording fight, King Garuda is defeated. The deity needs to send Kaki back to the human world. The King Prommathat is shocked to learn that Than and Kaki love each other. Kaki is sentenced to harsh punishment. He is disliked by some pirates (Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Rith Luecha and Phaophan Phongnathee) on the island. During a boat attack, the father is injured and the diviner predicts a bad omen for the village (ดาวบอก). Ai Klang and Sarapat, the other son (ลูกพ่อ), keep arguing over Salai. Their pirate (สลัด) village is located on an island. Normally they never keep survivors to avoid their hidden village to be discovered. Sarapat keeps a young lady called Chom (Duangcheewan Komolsen) for his father. She becomes in fact his mistress. Salai's family members are accused of theft. In fact, their crime is to have seen Sarapat and his mistress Chom together. Through a deadly game, two are shot but the father survives as Ai Klang fails, on purpose, to hit him three times. Ai Klang rescues a young lady Malai (Nantana Ngao Krajang) whose boat is wrecked on the island. It causes Salai's jealousy. While bringing her back to her father, Ai Klang is recognized as pirate and needs to flee. Ai Klang learns from Salai's father that he is not the real son of the pirates’ leader. While the father is away, the bad pirates get rid of Salai's father despite Ai Klang's resistance. Ai Klang is attached to a pole during rising tide but Salai helps him before he gets drowned. Sarapat takes over the island while his father is away. When the father is back, he is captured. While Sarapat and his men celebrate their victory, the island volcano wakes up. Ai Klang and a number of men faithful to the father attack the renegade pirates. Fight is fierce but they win. Salai is killed during the fightings. Ai Klang ends up fighting with his father as he killed his real parents twenty years ago. He is unable to kill him as twenty years together have created strong filial bonds. To acknowledge his mistake, the father announces that they all stop to be pirates! But it is too late as finally a tsunami wipes the island. Just before, the father sent Ai Klang and Malai to take refuge on higher grounds. ไอ้คลั่งทะเลโหด was released in year 1979 and features an impressive list of famous 1970s Thai actors. Star wars movie soundtrack is used. The movie was never released officially in VCD or DVD format but a VHS telezin version can be found around. It is supposed to be one of the few Thai movies shot in 70mm format.

Lak and Pipop are aware somebody succeeds to escape but they are not aware it is Phaniek. Titio asks them to find and kill the survivor. Sathan has arguments with Lak and Pipop as they also treat Phaniek as a dog. Sathan and Phaniek become friends. Phaniek realises that Sathan is Saeng's son. Sathan is struck between taking revenge and following his duty as policeman. Salika is named as new company boss by her father. Phaniek brings Sathan to work in the mine. Salika hires them despite Titio opposing. Chat Mongkolchai is close friend (เพื่อนรัก) with Titio. Anan and Salika realize that Dao and Titio have stolen money since a long time by forging accounts. Phaniek and Sathan get rid of Chat. Titio is fired by Salika. Titio prepares a revenge and plans to attack the next gold transfer by himself. Ruffians are pushed back by police led by Phaniek and Sathan. But Salika is kidnapped by Titio… Salika is released thanks to Dao, worried that Titio wishes to harass Salika. Ruffians are neutralized. Anan forgives Dao and Phaniek stops drinking alcohol!

Lao Thong (Sorapong Chatree) is a Hmong leaving in Northern part of Thailand. He has a wife called Siew Fa and a young boy named Soo Noi. While he is away, his wife Siew Fa has been kidnapped by ruffians, who have been threatening the mountain villagers since years. Lao Thong's nickname is the Mountain Lion (เสือภูเขา) as he can run very fast. Lao Thong goes after the ruffians and find their camp. Their leader is Museudam. Lao Thong and Siew Fa have to kill Chayo, Museudam's brother, in order to escape from the ruffians' camp. They need to flee with their son from the Hmong village as Museudam seeks for revenge. His wife, Siew Fa, is injured. Na Cha (Jarunee Sooksawad), Lao Pho's sister, helps them. Museudam and Cha Teun try to hire Lao Pho (แมวไม่ฆ่าแมว) but to no avail. So Museudam kills Lao Pho's father and accuses Lao Thong so he suceeds to convince Lao Pho's to chase Lao Thong. Na Cha fights very well but is in fact a girl. Siew Fa finally kills herself to avoid being the one slowing her family down. Lao Thong takes revenge over the ruffians, who disband. The two ruffian groups even kill each other and only Cha Teun succeeds to flee as his own gang is wiped away. A love story starts between Lao Thong and Na Cha. Na Cha succeeds to convince her brother that the culprit is Museudam and not Lao Thong. Museudam kidnaps Lao Thong's son. Lao Thong, Cha Teun, Na Cha and Lao Pho storm the ruffians' campement. Ruffians are defeated but Lao Pho dies while protecting Lao Thong. The Mountain Lion is one of the most famous movies directed by Kom Akadej. It is shot within beautiful Thai northern landscapes. It was one of the few Thai movies dealing about Hmong community. The Mountain Lion - เสือภูเขา (1979) movie remains famous for its Kung Fu scenes. This film was one of the first to mix elaborate stunt work and well choreographed fight scenes.

Movie director is เพชร ราชภรณ์. A group of six friends (including เด่น ดอกประดู่, Der Doksadao, Thep Po-ngam) are doing magic tricks and selling medicine to cure toothache, but it fails to be a good business. Running out of money, they decide to rob a bank. Sithao Petcharoen and Thuam Thoranong are among the policemen being warned about a robbery. Sompong Phonmitr, as head of police, orders the Police to surround the bank. The six friends succeed to flee by disguising themselves as ladies. They put a fake bomb around a group of ruffians (Dam Datsakorn, Lak Apichat, Pipop Pupinyo, Somsak Chaisongkram, อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์...), who promised to get revenge knowing it was a trick. The bank boss is Boo Wibunnan. The police head is upset with three policemen as they let the six fake ladies escape. They must catch them back to erase their mistakes. The six friends have a car accident but get help from truck drivers led by young lady Ae (Nipaporn Nongnuch). Ae invites them to her home. There, they find Boo, Ae's father, playing cards with other men. Luckily, Boo does not recognize them. Boo is losing money. As Tok is knowing card tricks, he gets the money back. The six friends prefer to leave afraid that Boo would recognize them. They decide to look for a job in Bangkok. Ae invites them to her home in Bangkok and guarantees that her father will find jobs for them. Going to Bangkok, Tok leaves the bank bag full of money to his aunt Malee Wetpraseri. The friends then separate to avoid being caught by the police. Tok meets his old old friend Elvis (วิสูตร ตุงคะรัตน์ - Thai Elvis), who invites him. In Ae’s house, the friends meet the aunt Chosri Misommon and Ae’s elder sister Ann (Duangcheewan Komolsen). The ruffians try to take revenge over the six friends, but finally they give up as they see the Police chasing the friends. Back at his aunt’s house, Tok finds she has died, and the money has disappeared. At the funerals, Sukon Koewliam announced to Tok that aunt Hom had used the money to donate to the local Buddhist temple to build a sacred chapel. Thai people finally catch the six friends and Boo recognizes them as robbers of his bank!

Thai movie เกวียนหัก was released in year 1978 and lasts 1h26mn. The DVD picture is not sharp as the original 35mm film was certainly very damaged and incomplete. The DVD was released by Happy Home Entertainment in year 2014. Aunt Sarinthip Siriwan is taking care of her nephew Rien (Nantana Ngao Krajang), whose beauty impresses many men. She is just 16 years old and is the daughter of subdistrict headman Kecha (Kecha Plianvithee). น้อง Kuay (Duangcheewan Komolsen) likes Faeng but he prefers Rien. Sor (Sor Asanajinda) is the Faeng’s father. Taming (Dam Datsakorn) is a robber. Sayan Chantaraviboon and Lak Apichat are part of his team. Sawin Sawangrat is the village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). Today is an important day to perform good deeds at the Buddhist temple (ทำบุญที่วัด). Chan (Somphob Benjatikul) tries to seduce Krajang. Festival, dances, songs, fireworks do happen after the religious ceremony. Faeng wins a small contest similar to rocket festival (ประเพณีบุญบั้งไฟ) versus Chan. Faeng (Sorapong Chatree) loves Rien so it generates jealousy from other men in the village. While trying to kiss Rien, Faeng is injured by her to the arm by her spade (ไม่เสียหาย). During the night Taming robs some houses. Faeng is summoned to subdistrict headman's house. Faeng is accused to have joined Taming the night before to rob houses. Faeng has an injury at the arm so he must be culprit. Rien admits she was the one to injure Faeng (เรื่องปล้นหรือเรื่องปล้ำ) because he tried to kiss her. Kecha loses face in front of the villagers! Disappointed, Kuay enters in Faeng's room. He pities her and tells an old secret story about the village leader being the one robbing houses before. They almost become lovers but Faeng asks her to go back. Chan declares his love to Rien but she is not interested. He wishes to ask her hand to her father. Rien and Faeng love each other but the subdistrict headman forbids Faeng to meet his daughter again. The father shall bring her away on the next day. Faeng and Rien become lovers (รักเหมือนโจร). Taming promises to help. Faeng's father is found dead. Faeng storms the subdistrict headman's place as he believes he knows who is behind the murder. Fightings occurs and the village leader is killed. Faeng learns where Chan and Rien are heading. Love circumstances towards Rien push Faeng to become a ruffian. Fierce fightings happen when Taming, Faeng and the ruffians storm the convoy led by Chan. Faeng defeats Chan but Rien dies following her injuries caused by the cart (เกวียน) falling on her.

The murder attempt on Phukphan fails. Following shopping in Siam Square, Dara and Suriya are chased by the police. They flee through a taxi and are finally rescued by Phukphan and Phan. Those two guys cannot resist trying seducing beautiful ladies. The secret organisation (องค์การ) kidnaps Mareusi, daughter of a politician, during her birthday party. It is the unique daughter of a rich politician of Thailand’s main party. The organisation retreats to their secret base and asks for a ransom. Wen changes side as he refuses to betray anymore his own country. Phukphan, Phan and the police invade the island. Multiple shootings happen during which Dara, SangVien, Nida and many ruffians lost their life. Malboro dies following a boat accident while fighting with Phukphan. There is a moralist nationalist ending as Wen, who helps Thai police, survives his injuries. Phukphan promises to marry Suriya. ด่านนรก (Asian Connection) is a typical 1970s Thai action movie involving Thai police and Thai army fighting against a mysterious international organisation threatening Thailand integrity.

He gets framed by drug traffickers and ends up in jail. Policeman Kanchit (Kanchit Kwanpracha) is building a team including Somjing (Piyamas Monayakol) to fight traffickers. He asks to get Labeu in his team as he believes he is not guilty and it would be a redemption opportunity. Labeu is reluctant but as it is to neutralise a dangerous organisation and clean Thailand's bad reputation as drug trafficking platform, he finally accepts. Phairoj Jaising (อาชีพขายขาว) gives free information to Gnamta as he despises drugs which made his brother die. Decha kills Duangchiwan being unfaithful with Phairoj. Decha killed Kwan's real father many years ago to take over the business. Decha refuses to share the drugs money benefits with his colleagues and imprisons them. Getting back Kwan, he takes refuge in a hidden maze but it gets storms by Labeu and the police. Decha is killed by Apichat. The drugs gang is annihilated and Labeu reinserted in the police as officer (สารวัตร).

Mak is back home. Things get weird with Mak seeing Nak’s arm extension to reach a lemon fallen under the house, food having pla ra taste, baby having Songthong face... Realising she is a ghost (ผี), Mak flees from home and goes to Man's home. Man explains what happened to Mak. They take refuge in the village Buddhist temple. A new master is called and warns that Nak is very powerful (วิญญาณดู่มาก). To neutralize Nak, the master gives a sacred thread to put around her neck. The master captures her spirit into a pot sealed with a sacred cloth. She has to accept her death (หมดเวรหมดกรรม). Mak promises to meet her during next life. The pot is thrown away in the river.

Thai movie เดนนรก is a Tom Yam Thai western even featuring Ennio Morricone's famous soundtrack. Ruffians including Pipop Pupinyo and their leader Seua Hin (Dam Datsakorn) are terrorizing a remote village. Ruffians are robbing villagers and even kidnapping young girls. The village header is handicapped and seems resigned that resistance is useless towards the ruffians. He has two children, is one daughter and one son called Khaem (Sayan Chantaraviboon). The daughter is abducted by ruffians and killed. Her brother promises to revenge her (สู้ซี่). Sin (Sorapong Chatree) and his brother Phayap (Krung Srivilai) are in prison. Phayap is a former likay actor. Sin is more a Buddhist student style as he always says moralistic sentences (ผู้ดีขี้ขุก). They succeed to escape. They meet Khaem, who is impressed by their skills to beat thugs. He requests their help to get rid of the ruffians threatening his village as police station is too far to get any help. Despite early reluctance, finally they all end up in the village. They just arrive when Sithong (Pawana Chanajit) has just been raped by ruffians. Sin and Phayap, understanding villagers pleas, decide to stay to help them. Phayap likes a lot Dok Kaew, a Thai Italian lady. A group of ten ruffians is chased away from the village by Sin and Phayap. Seua Hin, upset that ten of his men flee in front of two men, kills all of them and decides to handle the village by himself. While they are celebrating, ruffians attack the village. The village header refuses to fight as twenty years ago the father and Seua Hin were part of the same ruffians gang. He is handicapped since the day he tried to help a young lady harassed by Seua Hin. Despite beating fairly Seua Hin, this one shots him treacherously. It makes Phayap very upset as he believes the village leader is a coward. Wishing to revenge his father's honor, Khaem goes to fight the ruffians alone and loses his arm in the fighting. Sithong is kidnapped and Sin tries to release her alone. Being outnumbered, he is badly injured. Phayap comes to rescue but Sin is shot by Seua Hin and dies. Injured by Phayap, Seua Hin finally faces the village leader in a final face to face duel but this time, no second chance is given to him. After Sin's burial, Phayap stays in the village with his Thai italian lady. It reminds a bit of US movie “ The Magnificent Seven”.

They then search them into local brothels (อาละวาดบ่อน). The head of ruffians (พ่อเลี้ยง) is upset that his business is disrupted by those three guys. Two groups of ruffians then unify their efforts. The leader of the second group is played by Dom Singmoli (โดม สิงห์โมฬี). They keep kidnapping young girls or buying them from their parents promising fake jobs in Bangkok. They are also involved in drugs trafficking. Meanwhile the mariners unify their efforts with local police also. The university student is killed by ruffians while trying to stop the ruffians transporting the ladies in a train. Sombat and Dam chase the train. Fighting happens on the moving train. The head of the police is played by Wittaya Sukdamrong (วิทยา สุขดำรงค์). Finally following intense fightings, ruffians are neutralised by the three mariners and the police.

Den (Sombat Methanee) and Aranya Namwong, daughter of the village leader, arrive at same time in the village Don Krating (ดอนกระทิง). Den orders fresh milk and has issues with ruffians led by Phan. Den is singing Likay and is strong at shooting and fighting. Plio (Sayan Chantaraviboon), Jirasak Pinsuwan (จีรศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) and Suriya Chinaphan trap Yai but fail to kill him. Den asks to talk to Kamnan Tat Ekathat in private. Aranya decides to take over his father's activities. Her younger brother Suriya also joins her. One evening at a restaurant Den and Suriya help each other to punch the ruffians so they sympathize together. Ruffians decide to step in as Aranya wishes to federate peasants against Yai. They fail to kill Sawin Sawangrat but Den is captured and tortured. อาจารย์ Sawin and a small kid called Khom help Den. Srinuan, daughter of Yai, always discusses with Plio and shares information with him. Kamnan Tat Ekathat is killed by Yai and his daughter Dok Kaew kidnapped. Yai wishes to abuse her (ใช้กรรม) but hopefully Dok Kaew is released by Suriya. Fake policemen arrest Den, Suriya and Dok Kaew. Den is attached to a moving car by ruffians. Hopefully Aranya and Jirasak can help before it is too late. Srinuan tries to convince her father to stop but to no avail (ไม่ต้องมาสั่งสอน). Phan is having an affair with ChotChoi, Yai's wife. Phan kills those, who discovered him with ChotChoi. Sawin is called as undertaker (สัปเหร่อไม่มีวัด) by ruffians! Two ruffians leaders are opposed to each other (เสือเฒ่าพบสิงห์หนุ่ม) as Yai faces Phan (เพื่อนทรยศ). Den then faces Yai in a final duel but Aranya is the one to shoot him deadly.

Lor Tok, Chat Mongkolchai, Dao (Piyamas Monayakol) prepare a plan to release one of their inmate colleagues. Seua Dao helps a prisoner so Sing takes opportunity to flee also. Anan is upset as he was planning to have Sing killed during the transportation but his plan foils. Chen and Sing are friends but nobody knows it. A drug and money exchange is planned by Anan and shall be managed by Seua Thong. But the plan is foiled also as Sing and Seua Dao intervene. Chen is suspected to have warned them. Chen is tortured by Anan as he betrayed him. Sing and Tap successfully release him. Only one song is featured in this movie. Somebody from Bangkok insinuates that Seua Thong shall replace Anan. It fails. Finally Sing, Tap and Chen storm Seua Tong's place. Ruffians are killed and Seua Thong dies following a speed boat race. The same team now storms Anan's place. About to kill Anan, Sing listens to Mae Chom and Oon and spares Anan's life. Anan is arrested by Pukong Palee.

Sayan Chantaraviboon enters Yan's home to defy him. Appreciating Sayan’s boldness, Yan hires him. Jak Khui finally meets his son Simon, who is now a Buddhist novice. Jak Khui stayed five years in prison. Simon has no news about his mother. Sa brings Jak Khui to Kamsee, who is now a crazy woman. His son asks him to stop revenge, but he cannot do it. Kamsee is shot later by Steve. Yan is behind his demise and family misfortune. Jak Khui wishes to revenge (ล้างแค้น). The Thai boxing team is willing to join him. Jak Khui visits Gnot, the corrupt policeman (ตำรวจเลวๆ), but he is outnumbered and taken over to Yan's house. Yan is willing to get rid of Jak Khui as he opposed to him before when he was rising as Khorat mafia leader. They put him in a coffin and plan to throw him from a cliff. Hopefully Sayan Chantaraviboon helps him and they put the warden instead. Jak Khui then visits Khaemkaen to explain to her Yan's bad accomplishments. Hin and his men take back the wood stolen from forests by Yan's ruffians. It makes Yan to be very upset. To their surprise, during Khaemkaen's birthday, ruffians discover that Jak Khui is still alive! Seeing that Thai police starts to have proofs against him, Yan decides to flee. Khaemkaen is kidnapped by Yan. Jak Khui and his team storm the place where Yan and his ruffians are hiding. Jak Khui takes revenge over Yan. Hin and Sayan are finally undercover policemen. Romance can happen between Jak Khui and Khaemkaen.

Ruffians fail to kill Hin at the hospital so he is aware through Neung and Fon. Pho Lieng (Kecha Plianvithee), the big boss, wishes to marry Fon but Loi knows his daughter will never accept. Seua Tim (Manop Aussawathep) is seen with Pho Lieng but keeps his independence. Hin finds Sai but it is too late as she has been raped and killed. Hin has to forget his previous Buddhist vows (เรื่องคนชั่ว) to take revenge. Hin reuses the chain that was used to kill Sai in order to hit the ruffians. Fierceful fights happen between Hin and Rith / Dam in an underground casino. Despite Hin winning, Pho Lieng orders the ruffians to kill Hin but Seua Tim forbids as guns are not allowed in his casino. Hin kidnaps Fon to bring trouble to Kamnan Loi. Pho lieng orders to kill Subdistrict headman Loi as this latter refuses to enter in a bigger scale of corruption (แบ่งกันกินแบ่งกันใช่). Lom and Fon believes the murderer is Hin. Finally Seua Tim explains the truth to them. Justice happens and all the ruffians are killed. Hin leaves as a lonely cowboy. Chet (Sorapong Chatree) performs love scene with Manvika (Piathip Kumwong) in front of cameras. Manvika (ดาวโป้) is a sex movies star. Veena (Monrudee Yamaphai), her teen daughter, feels ashamed. Manvika draws a line between public life and private life. She works hard to pay her daughter’s studies. There is a crazy painter called Marut (Manop Aussawathep) living near their home and drawing big vagina, i.e. his vision of a mother, or big penis (พระเจ้า), i.e. his vision of the humanity creation. The art critic doesn't understand him and sees him as a sex maniac only. The artist is seen as obscene (ลามก) by his neighbours. Veena gets interest in this artist and also starts to draw similar vagina during school art lessons. She is studying in a catholic private school. Next week is Veena's birthday. Veena has feelings that her mother doesn't spend enough time with her and more time with other men while playing movies. A journalist called Surasak keeps harassing the mother. Despite not being aware, Veena is threatened to be expelled if it ever happens again as her school can only accept good mindset lady (สุภาพบุรุษสตรี). Society doesn't make a difference between a job and real personality of people. They all believe Manvika can only be an easy woman. The artist is also despised as sexual representations cannot be art according to society prejudices. While going back from restaurant, Veena's friend car hits the artist. Veena helps to bring him back home safely. The journalist is still angry and writes devastating reviews about Manvika. He is also a corrupted guy accepting money to write good reviews. Veena understands the artist motivations and doesn't believe what he is drawing is dirty as it is the origins of our world. People start to gossip, including Surasak the journalist, as Veena visits him every day. Neighbours believe a sex maniac artist and a daughter of porno star can only do bad things together. Veena wishes the artist to draw mountains or sea and he follows her advice. Following Surasak’s pressure, Manvika is downgraded to second role by movie director (Adul Dulyarat). One evening, the artist wishes to draw a nude painting of Veena. Afraid she starts shouting and fighting back. Surasak following them secretly takes pictures to be published on Thairat newspaper’s first page and pretending a rape. The artist is beaten by the mob. Nobody talks anymore to Veena (คนเลว) at her school. Manvika tries to get help from other newspapers but with no avail. Veena is fired from her school. Surasak’s wife (Metta Roongrat) asks him to consider how he would react if his own daughter was tarnished the same way. Nobody comes to Veena’s birthday (รังเกียจหนู). Newspapers can shape belief of people as even Manvika doubts about her own daughter. Only the artist understood her, so she leaves her home to find him in Koh Samet (เข้าใจกันดี). Following Manvika's tearful pleas, Surasak recognizes his mistakes and promises not to write about her and her family anymore. Being recognized on Koh Samet island, police and her mother are coming to get Veena back. Veena doesn't want to go back with her mum and be called as sex star daughter (ลูกสาวดาวโป้) again. Marut, the artist, gets shot by the police. Only the crazy artist was understanding Veena. This movie กาม includes strong critique of newspapers living on scandals (ข่าวเป็นข่าว), strong critique of society preconceived opinions on art and people public life. Krieng (เกรียง - Krung Srivilai) and Krai (ไกร - Sorapong Chatree) are brothers. They have a sister called Kaew. The third brother is away. They are part of a poor family and their father is sick. Ruffians are terrorising the local villagers (ปล้อนบ้าน). Krieng and Krai want to report a killing (แจ้งความ) to the village headman but he is out of town. The village headman has two children, Sarapee and her brother Han (หาญ - Dam Datsakorn). Han uses a lot of bad influence (อิทธิพล) and is always accompanied by ruffians. Han is committing extortion under the name of Seua Hin (เสืออินทร์). Sarapee is Krieng's love. Some villagers refuse to sell their land to Boonthong (บุญทอง), a local rich businessman. Boonthong is using Han to push them. He has a beautiful daughter called Angkap (อังกาบ - Piyamas Monayakol). Angkap is Krai's love (นางฟ้ามาแล้ว). Han doesn't appreciate his sister to go out with Krieng so this one is beaten by ruffians. Han also loves Angkap. Han is collaborating with Boonthong. Angkap is promised by her father to Han. The third son, Kan (กาญจน์), played by Nard Poowanai, is back. While Krieng and Krai are working in the fields, Kaew and the father are killed. The three brothers are looking for revenge. The village headman is not aware that his son is smuggling with Boonthong. Ket (เกตุ – Lak Apichat) is one of Han’s ruffians but he has a nice heart and always warns Angkap if something fishy is under preparation. Han is always looking for arguments with Krieng even during a temple fair. Han uses Ket to shoot Krai in the back while performing Thai folk dance (รำวง) as he is jealous of his relation with Angkap. Ket is playing double game as a fake bullet is used to shoot Krai. Ket warns Angkap that Han plans a night attack to get rid of Krai. Warned by Angkap, the three brothers prepare a surprise for Han and his ruffians. The ruffians fall in a trap and only Han and a few guys escape death. Han takes revenge over Ket by raping and killing his wife. Ket recognizes that Han’s missing short button is the one he found near his wife’s dead body. Following fist fights and car motorbike chase between Ket and Han, Han finally succeeds to flee. Han kills Boonthong to get his money and recruits more mercenaries. The three brothers and Ket are ready to fight back but they need to face 50 ruffians having M16 guns. Police lead by Mot is coming to help. Ruffians take Sarapee as hostage. A final face to face between the father and Han, the ruffian son, happens. Following a misunderstanding the village headman shoots his own son. Ket also dies. It is moralist ending. Ket is an unknown hero and law remains stronger than filial bonds. It is a 2h03mn movie. ลูกขวาน is a Thai movie released in year 1977. It lasts 1h54mn. This action movie, directed by director Kom Akadej, features a great bunch of Thai actors. Sing A (Sombat Methanee) arrives too late as his father Nae Klam died already. His father was a big mafia boss (นักเลง) so smaller bosses (Chun - Dam Datsakorn, Kam - Choomporn Theppitak, Pon - Sahat Piempongsan, Krong - Kanchit Kwanpracha) want to become the leader instead. The movie features fighting between those smaller bosses in order to become the big boss. Back from overseas, Sing A is welcomed by KoLit (Kecha Plianvithee) and by his mother (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng). Krai Kanchit challenges Sing A but as he is defeated, he finally joins Sing A's team. Ruffians are using axes (ขวาน) for fighting so giving the movie name, i.e. ลูกขวาน, "axe child". Many groups want to get rid of Sing A. Prachom (Lak Apichat) gives a hand to Sing A aggressed by motorbikes on the beach. Kam (Choomporn Theppitak), married to Metta Roongrat, is one of the small leader wanting to kill Sing A. Nop (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) and Sai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) are close friends with Sing A. Sing A finally sympathizes with Nolee (Aranya Namwong), daughter of Nop. Phi Pon (Sahat Piempongsan) and his team start hostilities and take over a mine. Mek (Chana Sriubon) and Wan are having a love affair. Tan (Manop Aussawathep) orders to kill Sing A. KoLit and Mek defeat Pipop Pupinyo and his guys trying to enter in their ranch. Krong is shot and injured by another gang. Tan refuses to work with Phi Pon (ขายหน้า). Chat Mongkolchai and his ruffians attack Mek's house but get defeated by KoLit and Mek following a long boat race. Wedding is happening between Mek and Wan. Chun is looking for troubles during the wedding but gets punched by Sing A. Tan is burnt in his car by Phi Pon's team and becomes blind. As a revenge, Phi Pon gets killed by Kanchit. Tan relearns to shoot using his ears instead of eyes. Pinyo and his ruffians kill Sing A's mother but get axed by KoLit and Mek. Kam is arrested by the police. Aranya has a cancer but Sing A still wishes to marry her. Tan takes his revenge over those who caused the fire making him blind. All mafia leaders are now out of the game except Chun. A feast is organized but Chun's ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram) are bringing a mess. Honor needs to be washed with blood (เลือดต้องล้างกับเลือด). Chun's house is stormed and Chun himself is killed but remaining people including Sing A get caught by police. Thai movie เจ้าพ่อ 7 คุก was released in year 1977. It features two major Thai cinema stars together, i.e. Sombat Methanee and Sorapong Chatree. The remaining sequence lasts 1h22mn. Papum (Sombat Methanee) succeeds to escape from prison four times but he is recaptured by the Thai police each time. Sorapong is a soldier. Chaiyan Sorakrai as another soldier gets killed in the fightings. Sorapong is married and has one kid. While he is fighting at the border, his father is killed and his wife is raped by ruffians led by Jit (Kecha Plianvithee) and including Ming and Pipop Pupinyo stealing the cattles. Sorapong finds Pipop and kills him. Before he learns from Pipop that Ming is now in jail so Sorapong surrenders to police in order to be sent to jail. Sorapong ends up in same jail as Papum, who is still trying to escape (นักโทษวิเศษ). He also befriends with Ming. The three guys now prepare to escape. There is a famous scene, where Sombat as prisoner smashes a rat and eats it raw. The three men succeed to escape through some pipes thanks to a file given by Sorapong to Papum in order to cut his chains. After obtaining information on Jit, Sorapong kills the ruffian Ming following a one to one fight. Papum and Sorapong go to north of Thailand to find Jit. They join a group including พ่อเลี้ยง Chawalit (Manop Aussawathep), Nirut Sirijanya and Malee (Sirikwan Nanthasiri). They go through the mountains by small paths. Papum meets Naowarat Yooktanun. Love emerges. Surasit Sattayawong is the hill tribe village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). Two groups are exercising influence, i.e. Jit and Chawalit, around the mountains. Meiyo, Naowarat’s younger brother, is shot by Jit’s ruffians as he listened to them talking about Papum and Sorapong. Malee has disappeared. The two groups prepare to fight. Nirut releases Malee but they are chased by ruffians. Malee gets shot and dies. Papum and Sorapong escape murder tentative. The two groups confront each other and heavy shootings happen. His father was kidnapped. Some ruffians try to kill him but Atit is faster to shoot them. He meets his old friend Akan (Phairoj Jaising), now Turkish bath manager. Seua Suk (Dam Datsakorn) and Pan Borapet storm the school as village header Thong complained to the police about their ruffians' activities. Teacher (Rewadee Pattaphong) is his daughter. Mokara (Nard Poowanai), a policeman, acting as a telecom company employee, hides a microphone inside Mien Wo's phone. Athit helps Mokara, aggressed by three ruffians, so they sympathize. He promises to help to find his kidnapped father. Mokara identifies that Mien Wo is the ruffians’ leader (นายผู้หญิง) behind the kidnapping. Mokara requests the help of Seua Suk to identify ruffians around. They accept to work together. Upset by this, Mien Wo's team kidnaps the daughter of the village leader Thong to have a guarantee (ตัวประกัน). The dream team composed of Athit, Mokara, Akan, Seua Suk and others prepare to storm the ruffians' place. Pipop Pupinyo is leading the resistance but ruffians are defeated. A foreigner, Athit’s friend, tries finally to betray him and to flee by helicopter with the father. Following a daring fight, the foreigner falls from the helicopter but Seua Suk dies while helping Athit. The DVD movie is certainly composed of two sets of partial reels as sometimes the image is colorful and sometimes it is reddish.

Paen Pleumsachai and his men attack Deuan. Lui and other colleagues arrive to help but his father dies in the fighting. Lui is a hitman in the organization. Lui is married to Sai Nam (Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej). Fed up to be a hitman for 10 years, Lui has decided to stop in order to take care of his wife Sai Nam and his son. He informs his friend Deuan. The secret organization (องค์การ) is not willing to let him go so easily as he knows all the internal secrets. They send two hitmen to kill him. They fail but, before being shot, one of them lies that Deuan is the one who disclosed Lui's location. Another three hitmen led by Somsak are sent but are also killed by Lui. The organisation asks Nai to manage but he refuses as he believes Lui has done nothing wrong. The organisation decides to send Nai to Hong Kong as they lose some trust with him. Ruffian Tio shall be the one to manage Lui. Kanchai Insree (Dam Datsakorn) is hired by Tio (Adul Dulyarat) to kill Lui as Deuan refuses to do the job. A bomb is put in his car. Unfortunately, his wife and son are killed. Lui shoots Deuan as revenge as he believes he is the culprit. Lui takes Boi, Deuan's son, to raise as his own son. Aunt Dou (Duangjai Hathaikarn) is helping. Boi reveals the truth to Lui, i.e. Deuan was beaten as he refused to kill Lui. Pipop and others are killed by Lui. Kanchai is also killed but before dying, he shouts to Boi that Lui is the one, who killed his father Deuan. Lui meets Prakasit (Sahat Piempongsan) by luck in a mall. Chasing happens but Lui spares his life as Prakasit hides behind his daughter. They take refuge in Kanchanaburi. Boi grows up there and learns how to shoot. He is played by Sorapong Chatree. Lui is now having a moustache. Ruffians led by Tio are still looking for Lui. Tio is having good time with girls managed by แม่ Soi (Aranya Namwong). Tio is killed by Lui. They invest in a Pattaya hotel by buying shares in order to prepare a future for Boi, Aunt Dou and Soi. Boi meets a young lady Not (เดือนเต็ม สาลิตุล) looking for a hotel room with her friend Metta. Nai is back from Hong Kong. Three ruffians’ leaders are left. Metta is Sakdan's son trying to identify where Lui is hiding. Lui is warned by Soi. Lady Not is Prakasit's daughter. Lui takes care of Sakdan. Kamphet (Manop Aussawathep) kills Soi as she refuses to disclose where Lui is hiding. Nai arrives at the hotel. Boi hears Lui and Nai talking together and that Lui killed his father Deuan through a misunderstanding. He wishes to kill uncle Lui as revenge despite Aunt Dou explaining to him. Thanks to Metta, ruffians now know where Lui is hiding. Boi is willing to shoot Lui and Lui accepts it. He uses an empty gun to shoot the man, who killed his father, but cannot shoot the uncle, who raised him. Ruffians storm Lui's place. Both Nai and Lui are injured. They chase Boi away. Boi faces Metta and is knocked out by him. Nai is shot by ruffians. Lui is shot multiple times by ruffians. Ruffians are celebrating their victory. On his last breath, Lui shoots at the explosives he put under his house. Ruffians are wiped out. Lui dies in Boi's arms.

Thai movie เผาขน was released in year 1976. The movie was never released on VCD or DVD in Thailand but a collector saved the film from 16mm format into VHS many years ago. The copy was not so good and was in red color as the film was already old. It lasts 1h44mn and is incomplete. The movie was also released in Italy under the name Lezi Puca Se (Lay Down and Die). It was also released by IFD Films and Arts, a Hong Kong company, under the name Bionic Heroes (1977) and lasts 1h25mn. The VHS rip is still colorful and sharp but the original Thai version has been reduced and cut to fit VHS standard format. Some sequences missing in the Thai remaining version are present in the international release. Enemies are trying to enter Thailand. At the border, Fon (Sombat Methanee) refuses to meet his younger sister Naiyana. He has to investigate who is providing weapons for Thai enemies. The enquiry leads him to a bunny bar, owned by Manop Aussawathep. Both Aranya Namwong and Pong (Phairoj Jaising), sister and brother, have resentments against Manop as he failed to honour the promise to their father to take care of them. They are used by him for low jobs. Pong (Phairoj Jaising) keeps having arguments with Dam, Manop's right hand. Boo Wibunnan is shot by Kanchit Kwanpracha, who ends up in jail. Aranya is having issues with Ah, an older man, who is trying to rape her as she was sold by Manop. Pong shoots him deadly. Pong and Aranya are then chased by the police. Prisoners Kanchit and Yodchai Meksuwan escape from the prison and are chased by the police. Some ruffians led by Dam Datsakorn try to shoot them while they are fleeing. They split to increase the chance for escape. Yodchai meets Pong and Aranya. They bring him temporarily with them to avoid police but then get rid of him on the backside of the road. Manop Aussawathep's girlfriend is played by Moeifa. Both Pong and Aranya fail to kill Manop. Kanchit wishes to revenge also on Manop as he believes he was betrayed. Manop pacifies everybody and Yodchai joins the team also. Dam, Yodchai and Kanchit do a heroin traffic in the train. Naiyana Shewanan spies them. Manop, as head of the traffickers, is upset as his latest traffic was discovered by the police so there must be a spy in his team. Manop decides to use Aranya for a Thai boxing match in order to exchange drugs versus money among a busy crowd. The niece of Manop is Pissamai (Neranchala Thaleungsak). Pissamai and Pong become very close. Chosri Misommon is playing Aranya's Thai boxing trainer. Choomporn Theppitak is playing a drug trafficker. Aranya wins her Muay Thai boxing match. Nayana spies Kanchit and his ruffians charging drugs in a truck. Yodchai convinces the ruffians that he will manage Nayana by himself. As Manop tries to abuse Pissamai, Pong helps her and they flee together chased by Dam. Meanwhile Fon shows to Aranya that Manop uses her as a mule only as drugs is hidden under banknotes. They also flee. Pong is captured while trying to release Nayana. Fon flees with Aranya and Pissamai. While trying to capture drug dealer Choomporn, Fon is finally neutralized by Pipop Pupinyo, Pan Borapet and Kanchit. They are transferred to the ruffians' base by helicopter. Fon is attached to a rope under the helicopter. He falls in a lake. Ruffians are attacking a border station to let enemies enter Thailand. Some ruffians are changing side such as Kanchit trying to protect Yodchai, who was the one always informing the police. The movie highlights police and military helping each other to push back enemies of Thailand. Pong and Pissamai die in each other’s arms while fighting for Thailand. Director Kom Akadej is also having a small role as policeman. The movie features a very big number of famous Thai actors / actresses from decade 1970s.

Payoong Payakul is the director of the Thai movie “8 เหลี่ยม 12 คม”. His wife Prissana Chabaprai is also playing. The movie was released in year 1976 and lasts 1h44mn. The image is a bit reddish and damaged as being the last copy still available on the market. The selling point of the point, according to the poster, is the presence of six movie stars (ดาราเอกโคจร) including Runglawan Sripatimakul, Prissana Chabaprai, Naiyana Shewanan, Nard Poowanai, Sombat Methanee, Phairoj Jaising. The movie features also a few ดาวยั่ว (วิกาวดี, Khomapat Attaya, Moeifa, มิสหลาบยัง) acting in a few daring sequences. A jewellery robbery does happen. Khom (Sombat Methanee) and Chitchai (Dam Datsakorn) are involved. An overseas buyer is now expected in a few days. Anita (Naiyana Shewanan) is the younger sister of Chitchai. Chitchai fails to steal the jewellery suitcase from Khom. Khom sent Krissana (Nard Poowanai) to study in England. Krissana now becomes a policeman. Khom promises it is his last job in order to avoid facing Krissana as a policeman. Tonachai (Phairoj Jaising) with two ladies called Rita and Rosana always help Khom. Chitchai requests the diamonds to Khom earlier than expected. Tonachai has many enemies (ศัตรู) and has a fighting in an underground parking. Chitchai sent some ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, Phirapon Piyawan...) but it fails. In the morning, Khom brings the 10M baht jewellery for Rita to check. The hotel groom exchanges the small suitcases while they are not aware. Police head asks Krissana to neutralise this jewellery ring. Krissana starts by entering Chitchai's nightclub, i.e. the Suzi bar, by claiming being a life insurance seller. Chitchai's ruffians aware that Krissana is certainly a cop tries to kill him but without success. Khom is concerned that he may face sooner or later Krissana (ปัญหาตัดสินใจไม่ถูก). Krissana gets information from Anita, who is his girlfriend. Khom believes the diamonds have been stolen by Chitchai's team. Rita is in fact part of Chitchai's team also and is finally shot by them. Chitchai captures Khom. The jewels are going to be used in a weapons deal exchange. Aware of the exchange place, Tonachai and the ladies head there. Krissana brings policemen there and also helps to release Khom. The HQ is then stormed and Chitchai is captured. Chitchai recognises his mistakes and is finally happy about the relationship of Rita and Krissana.

Prakan (Sombat Methanee) and Wi Ok Hen Lom (Chaiya Suriyun) are Pa Wieng's sons. Pa Wieng is the head of a team of bandits (โจร). Once Prakan knows Pa Wieng is not his real father, he flees to find his real father, Sing. A couple, Karn and his girlfriend Duang, is fleeing as Pa Wieng's ruffians are following them up. Karn dies but Duang is saved by Prakan (Sombat Methanee). Pa Wieng is Prakan's stepfather (พ่อเลี้ยง). Prakan is now considered as a traitor (ลูกหมา, ทรยศ) as he tried to flee. Wi Ok Hen Lom is always following Prakan remotely and helps him when needed. Prakan and Duang arrive in the adjacent district. Luang (Dam Datsakorn) is the subdistrict headman (กำนัน) and her sister Deuan (Aranya Namwong) is the village headman. They control very strictly the subdistrict. Sing was the former village headman but his authority has been neutralized. Prakan wants to find the former village headman (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) Sing, who is his real father. But Sing refuses to recognize him as his son. Prakan and Duang (เพื่อนรัก) are captured by Deuan (คนเก่ง). Sing's daughter, Kotko, supports them. Prakan helps to protect their oil stock and gets back his freedom. Finally Sing recognises Prakan (ลูกพ่อ). Luang believes Prakan is a undercover policeman (ตำรวจชายแดน). Saming is another mafia leader and is Luang's best friend. Saming and Luang destroy Prakan's house but Deuan doesn't agree (ไม่เห็นด้วย, ไม่ยุติธรรม). It is war declaration with Prakan. Prakan uses rape as weapon to revenge himself against Deuan. Luang asks the district officer (นายอำเภอ) to arrest them but Deuan provides an alibi to Prakan. Luang decides to give Deuan to Saming but Prakan rescues her on time (มารับเมีย). Now Prakan has two wives (มีเมีย2คน), Deuan and Duang! Kotko and Duang are kidnapped. Pa Wieng comes to help but dies in the fight against Luang and Saming. As expected, ruffians are defeated. It is a typical action movie from 1970s decade when local authorities were not respecting the law and were local kingpins. It is also a very bad habit in Thai movies and Thai TV series (ละคร) to use rape as an expression of love. In 2006, a Thai movie with the same name was released but it was a comedy.

Ruffians are chased by police officer Ching Ming (Yodchai Meksuwan) but he failed to catch them. He meets his old friend Kau Fei (Sombat Methanee). Ruffians are hiding in a Surin timber yard. A big fight happens as Ching Ming wishes to jail them. Hopefully Kau Fei helps Ching Ming but there is no way to know where is the big boss behind. Local police is trying to catch Kau Fei but elephants prevent police to follow up Kau Fei. He has been accused of murder but he was framed. The head of ruffians (Kanchit Kwanpracha) framed him as Kau Fei refuses to sell his farm land to him. Ruffians burn the houses on the farm land. Ching Ming and Kau Fei help people stuck in their home. Ching Ming likes a lot a local lady Shao Feng (Naiyana Shewanan). Kau Fei decides to take revenge by entering in the boss home. He is not here so he captures madame Shu (Aranya Namwong). Ruffians try to rescue her by entering the farm through the forest but they are welcomed by guns and elephants. Kau Fei still loves Shu despite she was forced to go with the boss. Ching Ming tries to arrest Kau Fei but to no avail. Kau Fei comes to town to make trouble inside the boss’ favorite nightclub. Shu is now pregnant with Kau Fei. As Shu is about to deliver, Ching Ming helps to bring her to hospital. The boss aware of this wants to use her and the baby as a bait. Taking profit of Surin elephant carnival (เทศกาลของเมืองสุรินทร์), Kau Fei sends a few elephants and villagers to pick up Shu. Kau Fei does a rampage in the boss’ house and even injures him but Mau Tien, another ruffian, finishes him. Mau Tien (Dam Datsakorn) becomes the boss and decides to kidnap Shu and two nurses to attract Kau Fei to the plains. Kau Fei and the villagers rescue Shu and the two nurses. Then a crazy rampage of the elephants on the ruffians’ camp happens. They are pushing huts and cars with real people inside. Big explosions and houses in fire happen. Even Ching Ming intervenes and helps Shao Feng. He finally lets Kau Fei go to Cambodia. The Thai movie "Killer Elephants" - ไผ่กำเพลิง was released in Thailand in 1976. Main actors are Sombat Methanee and Aranya Namwong. The movie director was Kom Akadej, who got the “international name of Som Kit in the credits, which is a version of his middle name, Somkit. All the other actors got Chinese style names, probably to cash in on the Hong Kong market and the rest of the worlds wish for more Kung Fu movies. The Killer Elephants cannot be found anymore in Thailand except at the Thai Film Archive, the original Thai version. Joseph Lai and his IFD Arts and Entertainment prepared this international version, which is the most common version outside Thailand. This DVD was released by Swedish company Attackafant Entertainment directed by Fred Anderson, a well known lover of Thai cinema. This DVD is the first official ไผ่กำเพลิง DVD release ever. The "Killer Elephants" movie rights in Thailand belongs to Coliseum film (บริษัท โคลีเซี่ยมฟีล์ม), company from Kom Akadej. Up to now no VCD / DVD was released in Thailand with correct rights according to Thai law. Only a video tape was released long time ago. Coliseum film company would sell the rights for all Kom Akadej’s movies and not only for 'Killers Elephants' movie. Thai Company XxX (Triple X) was only interested in 'Killer Elephants' movie so up to this day Thai people are still waiting for a Thai version of ไผ่กำเพล to be released again. The movie also includes also famous supporting actors such as Yodchai Meksuwan, Naiyana Shewanan, Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej, Kanchit Kwanpracha, Pipop Pupinyo, Dam Datsakorn, Sayan Chantaraviboon. The finest batch of Thai actors during 1970’s! Only Sorapong Chatree and Krung Srivilai are missing. Pipop Pupinyo, Kanchit Kwanpracha and Dam Datsakorn were the regular bad guys in Thai cinema and so of course even in The Killer Elephants! The same story was also released as Thai TV lakorn in 2004.

He has lost memory and cannot remember his own fiancee. Hong (Sorapong Chatree) is a well-off son involved with ruffians. Choimai is now prisoner in the prostitution ring leader’s house. His name is Yai (Dam Datsakorn) and he is also smuggling weapons. Choimai is in fact Chai's sister. She escapes (ขายตัวกับผู้ชาย) and takes refuge in Dong's home, another ruffian, who is also a brothel owner. Trap is put in place by Yai to capture Chai at Turkish massage place (อาบอบนวด). An electronic device is put near his brain to force him acting on any orders from Yai. Yai uses Chai to give a punchy lesson to Hong. Brothels are similar to slavery as women are chained together. The mamasan (มาม่าซัง) pretends to help Choimai but it is another trap also. She is only interested by her ring and necklace. Brought by three ruffians in a remote place, Hong luckily drives by and helps her. She is welcomed in Hong's parents home (คนสตรี). Hong decides to change his behavior and stop frequenting ruffians. Inside Yai's group, Chai takes revenge over those who kidnapped Choimai. Dong traps Hong (เพื่อนทรยศ) as he has betrayed them. Hong tries to crash him with an old French Citroën DS car. It fails but Hong is finally captured by Yai. Choimai surrenders to Yai to spare Hong's life. Vui is also kidnapped. Chai only simulated being a robot following Yai’s orders. Chai succeeds to release Vui. They enter inside Yai’s remote camp and gun fights, explosions occur between Yai’s ruffians and Chai’s friends. Ruffians are defeated. The Lepso VCD image is quite damaged and colorless. It is a recording from TV. Anyway this Thai action movie features part of the finest bunch of 1970s Thai actors. In this movie, Krung Srivilai, best Thai actor in 1974, meets Sorapong Chatree, best Thai actor in 1975. This movie was the most popular movie in 1976. In the title แมงดา means pimp.

Thai movie เสือ 4 แคว was released in year 1976. It lasts 2h20mn. Pleung (Krung Srivilai) and Chat (Sombat Methanee) are always fighting in a prison. The head of prison decide to transfer them to another prison. To avoid any issues during the transfer, they are hogtied together. During transfer, Pleung's teammates attack the police armed escort. Pleung and Chat flee together. Choomporn Theppitak is playing a policeman. They do realize that they have a common enemy called พ่อเลี้ยง Do Tawan (Kecha Plianvithee). Four devils [เสือ4แคว] (Pipop Pupinyo – Seua Wang, Dam Datsakorn - Seua Nan, Seua Ping - Chana Sriubon, Seua Yom – โดม สิงห์โมฬี) are called by Do Tawan to kill Pleung. 1M Baht reward is promised for the one who succeeds to kill Pleung. น้อง Kaew (Rewadee Pattaphong), a teacher, is Do Tawan's younger sister. She knows the secret behind her brother. Do Tawan (โจรใจบาป) is selling drugs. Pleung, a former teammate, asked him to stop but ended up in jail because of Do Tawan. Pleung's younger sister Wallin (Naiyana Shewanan) is still kept captive by Do Tawan (ตัวประกัน). A bomb is hidden in her bungalow. Kaew prevents her brother from abusing Wallin. ภูมิ พัฒนายุทธ, Kan (Kom Akadej), Wai (Lak Apichat), Suki (Sayan Chantaraviboon) meet Chat in the restaurant (เอาเต็มที่). He claims to be เสือ4แคว. They sympathize with Chat, who sends them to help Pleung against the 4 devils. Meanwhile, Chat plans to enter Do Tawan group in order to spy them and release Wallin. Pleung, being attacked by Seua, decides to fight back and attack them directly also causing Dam to flee. Do Tawan hires Chat. Seua Ping’s team includes veteran actors Pan Borapet, กฤษณะ อำนวยพร and Paen Pleumsachai. Chat pushes the teams against each other. Chat succeeds to exchange Wallin with Kaew simulating a kidnapping. Meanwhile Choi helps to provide information on Do Tawan's business. Chat is identified as the traitor. Chat shall be smashed by a train but Pleung helps him on time. Knowing that Chat is not dead, Do Tawan moves his stock of drugs in a safer place. Pleung identifies the place and decides to attack it. Chat, being finally a policeman, also comes with reinforcement. All ruffians are killed by the Thai A-team. Unable to flee, Do Tawan prefers to explode the warehouse to avoid surrendering. Pleung has to go back to jail but Chat promises that his efforts to catch Do Tawan will be taken into account to reduce the severity. This movie features a huge number of famous Thai actors and actresses.

Lom is having a boat transportation business on the river. Nai Prakit's ruffians (including Pan Borapet and เมือง อพอลโล่) are threatening Lom's team (Tat Ekathat). Nai Prakit (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to marry Lom's daughter, i.e. Nam Rong (Aranya Namwong) but Lom refuses. Nai Prakit's team shoots Lom's boats and crew. Lom's staff decides to leave as they are afraid to be killed. Nam Rong proposes to talk to Nai Prakit in order to find a solution. Fighting occurs with ruffians as one of them dislikes Lin See Thong trying to seduce Sida. Lin See Thong asks to join Nai Prakit's team. Rampeung (Moeifa) is Prakit's girlfriend. Prakan (ลูกรัก)(Dam Datsakorn) is back per his father's request. Prakit needs his help to destroy Lom's business and gets rid of Chuey. A new policeman (Taksin Jampol) arrives also in the city. He is a strong punch man and trashes ruffians lacking respect to him. Prakan, using small speed boats, disrupts Lom's boat fleet and prevent Lom's goods to be sold on the market. Two ruffians, Mek and Sing, intend to get rid of Lin See Thong as he is getting too close to Nai Prakit. Rampeung seduces Lin See Thong. Mek and Sing ask Nai Prasit to beware Rampeung and Lin See Thong. Ruffians try to storm Lom's house at night time. Shooting happens. Police arrive very fast and ruffians have to retreat. Nai Prakit suspects there is a traitor among them. Even Taksin dares to enter in Nai Prakit’s house (บ้านเจ้าพ่อ). Speed boat fighting occurs as Chuey prepares resistance to the ruffians. Action scene is managed as well as in James Bond movies. Chuey defeats Prakan. Nai Prakit kills Rampeung as she sacrifices her life mentioning the police radio found belongs to her despite it belongs to Lin See Thong. Lin See Thong is kept prisoner in his room as Nai Prakit isn't sure he is innocent or not. Ram Rong is kidnapped by Prakan. Lom and Chuey enter Nai Prakit's home. Meanwhile Thai police is informed, and they arrive by boat. To win time and to allow Thai police to come, Lin See Thong asks for a fight one to one with Chuey to show his sincerity to Nai Prakit. Heavy shootings occur. Lom is shot. Nai Prakit and Prakan are captured. Both Chuey and Lin See Thong are undercover policemen. Policeman Taksin mentions that nobody is big enough to be above the law!

Three men are arrested by the Thai police following a trip to Hong Kong as they are suspected to sell drugs. They are released as no proofs are found. They met a guy called Daeng in the cell and befriended together. A young lady, Maria, Tawai's assistant, pick them up. Daeng is trying to join Tawai's secret organization, which is buying and selling weapons and drugs. Such organization undermines Thailand. As Tawai orders Daeng to kill Krit (Sombat Methanee), Daeng reveals that he is a hidden policeman and convinces Krit, who is a drug smuggler, to join his side. Policemen and gangster groups go to the golden triangle, border between Thailand, Laos and Burma. Heavy fightings happen between both groups. The country traitors are killed or captured. Some policemen are killed but they didn't die in vain as they give their life for the nation, the religion and the monarchy. It is a typical action movie of mid 1970s in which Thailand needs to be protected against external red communist threat. There is a rupture with traditional movies as Thai actors shake hands, listen to western music and kiss ladies in front of spirits shrines.

Thai movie เหมือนฝัน was released in year 1976. It lasts 2h09mn but is still incomplete. Sakuna (Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej), Ot's young sister, shots a man in a nightclub (คนทรยศ). Yeah Nut (Metta Roongrat), a singer, and Kachen (Taksin Jampol), nightclub's owner, believe Ot (Dam Datsakorn) is responsible but he refutes any implication. Yeah Nut and Kachen go upcountry side to meet Meuan (Nard Poowanai), the younger brother of the dead man. He is responsible of a temple school. Meuan decides to go to Bangkok. Yeah Nut likes secretly Meuan. It seems a part of the movie is missing there but Meuan is recruited by Kachen to work as gigolo. Meuan has a girlfriend (แฟน) called Mascilla in Bangkok but still needs to perform his gigolo job with demanding customers such as Moeifa. A hitman (นักเลงรับจ้าง) tries to kill Kachen but Meuan foils this plan. Meuan needs to meet his new customer called Linda. Ot decides to use Sakuna to neutralise Meuan. Meuan is finally the one to catch Sakuna! Meuan, while looking for Linda, gets a pieing from Luuk Maew (Pawana Chanajit). Chosri Misommon is playing a role as Linda’s domestic helper. Luuk Maew is Linda's daughter and she dislikes Meuan. Aware that Meuan is going to Kanchanaburi with Linda, Ot prepares a plan to get rid of him. As Linda and Meuan are not back after one week, Mascilla and Luuk Maew go there to look for them. Everybody meets at the same restaurant along the river. General fighting happens and all ends up in police station. Linda and Mascilla decide to fight over Meuan (ถึงเก่ายังไม่มีสนิม). They have arguments about beauty comparison and money (ซื้อความสุขจากเขา). Meuan gets slapped by Linda. Luuk Maew is kidnapped. Meuan is fed up of his job. He indulges in alcohol and has arguments with Linda, Mascilla and Kachen as he feels other people just use him. Meuan kidnaps Sakuna (ตัวประกัน) to exchange her with Luuk Maew. During the exchange, Meuan is injured and Tawat (สมชาย ศรีภูมิ), who kidnapped Luuk Maew, is killed. Sakuna promises to revenge over Meuan. Luuk Maew loves Meuan but finds Linda in bed with Meuan (หลอกลวง). She flees away. Meuan requests his money to Kachen. Meuan plans to give his money back to the temple school he funded. All protagonists meet in the temple. Sakuna wishes to kill Meuan but Yeah Nut wishes to protect him. They end up killing each other. Meuan, injured but helped by Fan, finds strength to bring the money to the temple school. Both Kachen and Ot stop fighting as they have their dead young sisters to take care.

Thai movie นายอำเภอใจเพชร was released in year 1975. The movie is lost in Thailand. A twelve minutes sequence in bad state can still be seen. Other actors not seen in the remaining sequence include โดม, Krai Kanchit, อัมรัตน์, Somjit Sapsamruey, Sawin Sawangrat, จรัสศรี, หมี. The new chief district officer wishes to clean the district and to get rid of the dark influence. He is getting support from local people. The chief district officer (Nard Poowanai) just arrives in his new district. He visits his subordinates including Tanyarat Lohanan working in school and invites them for introduction lunch. Pipop Pupinyo being around with other ruffians warns the new chief district officer that real power (อำนาจ) is with weapons here. Later on while Pipop is busy with a young lady played by Orasa Isarangkul, he gets warned by corrupt policeman that this new chief district officer is different. Pipop promises to manage him. During the introductory lunch, the new chief district officer scolds many of his subordinates for not being dedicated to their job and to local citizens. Sukon Koewliam, Choomporn Theppitak, Lak Apichat are part of the guests. Dam Datsakorn, Pipop and two other ruffians arrive and invite themselves to the party. As they are looking for troubles, the chief district officer removes his shirt and insignia to give a boxing lesson to Dam. The remaining sequence stops here. Even when Nard Poowanai became real government officer as assistant district officer (ปลัดอำเภอ), Thai people still refers to him as chief district officer (นายอำเภอ) as this movie was really very famous and popular.

Sa Ai (Sombat Methanee) buys gemstone from people working in mines. Two groups, lead by Sa Ai and Ko Sai, are fighting each other for gemstone control. They buy then sell those gems. Sa Ai rescues and shelters young lady Supranee (Naiyana Shewanan), whose parents have been killed by Ko Sai's tough men. Another lady called Soi (Aranya Namwong) also loves Sa Ai. Sa Ai meets a young man called Chae (Krung Srivilai) and they decide to work together. But Chae is working for the other group lead by Ko Sai. Sa Ai escapes to two murder attempts but his father is killed. Sa Ai wants to sell gems for 500 000 baht to Chae. Ko Sai wishes to get those gems. Chae seems to play on both sides. Supranee and Sa Ai are injured during a trap prepared by Ko Sai. Supranee and Soi love Sa Ai but Soi sacrifices her-self as Supranee has already lost everything in her life. Violent gun fights erupt between both groups. Ko Sai uses his own sister to put a bomb inside Sa Ai's car but Chae warns him just in time after a swift car race. Chae shows interest into Soi. Ko Sai kinadps Soi and Supranee to attract Chae and Sa Ai in a trap. A heavy gun fight happens but Chae with a police team is joining to help. Bad guys are all killed or captured. Chae, who is in fact a policeman, kills the headman without proper justice. Extrajudicial killings have always been an issue in Thailand. The last notorious killings happen during the 2003 anti-drug effort. This movie features many Kung fu fightings in 1970s comfortable (สบายมาก) Thai style. This old movie has an image very damaged. In the past the camera original and any additional exhibition prints were circulated to cinemas around the country or projected from the backs of trucks on to sheets hung between trees at fairgrounds. There is no original soundtrack but a 1970s James Bond soundtrack is used! Slogan "See you later" (พบกันใหม่) is shown instead of "The end" (สวัสดี) to encourage fans to see their favourite stars in the next movie. More than one hundred movies were produced per year in Thailand in 1970s.

This 1974 movie “แสบเข้าไปถึงทรวง” is lost in Thailand but is still available in Malaysia under the title “Dendam Perawan” / “Vengeance” as it features a Thai Malaysian actress (Lakshmi Pensaengdeuan - ลักษมี เพ็ญแสงเดือน). Summary might be a bit inaccurate as the movie is dubbed in Malaysian only. Yodchai (Yodchai Meksuwan) is fiancee together with a young Malaysian lady called Ning. Dam (Dam Datsakorn) sees the jewels offered as gifts. Dam, being the fiancee's sister, decides to rob the jewels and kills the middle age lady to succeed. A little boy sees him but he is thrown across the stairs. The mother has time to write the murderer name with her blood. Ning does her enquiry inside Bangkok low cost hotels to find Dam. She is able to drive fast car, knock out ruffians and throw knife. She finds Dam's house but he is not here. Fighting happens with ruffians but Yodchai comes to help on time. Ning goes to Malaysia to continue the investigation. Her friend is a pilot and loves her secretly. Dam is aware that Ning is looking for him. The pilot finally starts a romance with another Malaysian lady. Dam's ruffians try to stop her. They get beaten one by one! Finally they find Dam's secret home. Following violent fighting, Ning and Yodchai are defeated. Ning is put in Dam's car trunk. The pilot and Yodchai still follow them to prevent Dam escaping by helicopter. Ning defeats herself Dam and refuses to give him any chance opting for self justice. Unfortunately her friend, the pilot, has died during the fighting. This movie is mainly shot in Malaysia. The actress Lakshmi has the main role. Thai veteran actor Yodchai Meksuwan has a second role. The movie features great views of Kuala Lumpur with old buildings and old mosques. The movie features a few famous Malaysian actors, i.e. Noor Azizah, S. Roomai Noor, Karim Siraj.

Thai movie “คมเคียว” image and sound are quite poor and damaged. Phanmitr company issues a warning that they have used the last known copy of the movie to release this VCD (สภาพฟิล์ม 16 ม.ม.สโคป เรื่อง คมเคียว). So movies fans should be happy to watch it before the last copy disappears from our world. This movie was very popular in 1970s. Hang Seuk, a ruffian leader, and his band are terrorizing villagers. Hang Seuk (Dam Datsakorn) wishes to kidnap Kathin to have her becoming his wife. Kwan (Lak Apichat), her fiance, tries to oppose them but to no avail. Kwan is buried except his head. If he survives 7 days then he will be released. A mysterious man coming through a raft helps to release Kwan and promises to help the villagers. Choomporn Theppitak is the village doctor and helps another lady called Chaba to recover after being assaulted by ruffians. The mysterious man names himself “small red mouse” (หนูแดง)! He trains the villagers with weapons. Hang Seuk doesn't touch Kathin but she doesn't dare going back to the village as nobody would believe her so she stays with him. Hang Seuk's sister, Siroon (Pawana Chanajit), promises things will get better. Nai Seua is a ruffian leader controlling a territory near Hang Seuk’s area. Putao is a village leader having a beautiful daughter called Saeng Sao. The mysterious man is recommended as Putao’s nephew and is renamed Kachen. Hang Seuk and Seua are friends but in fact a competition is happening between them. Hang Seuk promised his sister Siroon’s hand to Seua before so he needs to find a way to break the promise. Hang Seuk needs a strong man to get rid of Seua. Putao recommends his mute nephew Kachen. If Kachen defeats Seua then the wedding promise is cancelled. Seua doesn't wait for the fight and sends ruffians to kidnap Siroon. Hopefully Kachen is around but is injured while protecting Siroon. The mysterious man’s real name is Diaw Khom Thong. He realises that Hang Seuk is not that bad. The real bad ruffian is Seua. The village doctor helps Saeng Sao who was bitten by a snake. Kwan has to warm her body as she has a cold fever. Villagers start to rebel such as Kwan. Kachen defeats Seua in one to one fight with knife. Hang Seuk knows that Kachen is not mute as he heard Siroon’s love declaration to him. A fight happens between Kwan and Hang Seuk. Kathin convinces Kwan and Hang Seuk to pacify as Hang Seuk will be father soon. Meanwhile the three ladies get captured by Seua. All gather to fight back Seua and defeat him following strong gun fights. The movie ends happily as Kwan will marry Saeng Sao, Hang Seuk with Kathin and Diaw Khom with two ladies, i.e. Siroon and Chaba! Thai movie “คมเคียว” is a typical movie action from 1970s decade with a hero taking justice into his own hands to protect villagers against ruffians.

พยัคฆ์พันลาย or Tiger Fighting / MAGNUM KILLERS is a 1973 Thai movie. Pan (Sombat Methanee) has a fight in an illegal casino as his brother was cheated of 500 usd. The casino owner, MengYu, offers him a deal, i.e. accept to go to prison for 10 000 USD in order to contact one of his teammates jailed for life. Only this inmate knows where Wang Piu, nicknamed as King Cobra, is. Veteran actor Lor Tok is playing the jail keeper. The inmate is killed just after telling to Pan that King Cobra is located in Pu Geng area and after giving a letter of introduction. Pan teams up with Lor Tok. They are both threatened by ruffians also looking for King Cobra. Pan asks his friend Chumporn to look after his home and his brother while he is away looking for King Cobra. Around Pu Geng area, Pan meets the local owner (Adinan Singhiran) of a mine. He is hired as a tough man after showing up his skills to knock out four guys and even helps the mine owner's daughter who was kidnapped. Meanwhile Pan's brother is kidnapped by a team of ruffians led by a fierce young lady called KenYouSee (Wassana Chalakorn). To get his brother back, Pan needs to bring Wang Piu to the young lady. She has a revenge to take as Wang Piu caused her parents to die 10 years ago. Pan locates the King Cobra or Wang Piu thanks to the letter of introduction but the young lady KenYouSee is following just behind them. Pan finally meets a noble man looking for his lost princess daughter. Meanwhile KenYouSee captures King Cobra and tortures him as revenge. MengYu, the casino owner, KenYouSee and other thugs were all looking for King Cobra. MengYu double crosses Pan. The princess is in fact Peng, KenYouSee's sister. Everybody is looking for her jewels box as it includes a list of political insurgents. The list is for sale. Finally the princess is kidnapped by MengYu while storming KenYouSee's camp to try getting King Cobra. Through a daring operation, Pan and his friends release the princess. During the movie shooting, long trail boats run over each other and actress Petchara Chaowarat falls in the river. MengYu's team and the thugs willing to buy the list kill each other believing the other party breaks the deal. It is a full packed action movie. Unfortunately the Thai movie is cut into an international version lasting only 1h33mm instead of two hours so those cuts make the movie directing and scenario sometimes weird. It is a IFD movie and luckily it is not merged with Ninja sequences as the original Thai movie is lost in Thailand. During year 1976, this movie was famous as famous veteran actress Petchara Chaowarat falls in the water following a dangerous action scene between two long trail boats. It appears on all Thai newspapers and those newspapers are even featured on the movie poster! The other event was related to sexy actress (ดาวยั่วเซ็กซี) Wassana Chalakorn who dares playing naked in a shower scene. The IFD movie has been redubbed in Thai language in Thailand recently.

A huge quantity of Thai gold is stolen. An American agent recruits some Thai mercenaries to build a tough team of experts. The team is responsible to get the gold back in Thailand. The gold is currently in Communist Vietnam. The team is parachuted there. A young woman is waiting for them to guide them into the jungle. On their way they met two other women that are trying to free their father imprisonned in the jungle by Vietnamese soldiers. It seems that one of the three ladies is a spy. Many difficulties happen before being able to retrieve the gold and not all of them can go back alive to Thailand... The movie "Gold" was the first big success of Chalong Pukdeewichit. The film was a phenomenal success locally and made a profit internationally. It became the first Thai film to be widely sold to international markets. Later on "Gold 2" (Gold Raiders - 1983), "Gold 3" (The Lost Idol - 1990) and "Gold 4" (In Gold We Trust - 1992) were even released. Chalong Pukdeewichit put in place an effective marketing strategy, i.e. a large budget, sex, violence and involvement of a famous internationally known actor to attract buyers. In movie Gold, American actor Greg Morris from the Mission Impossible TV series played alongside with Thai stars Sombat Methanee, Krung Srivilai. Same recipe was applied later to "H-Bomb". The Mission Impossible soundrack is even used a few times during the movie.

A mysterious object fall in the sea. Two scientifists from Bangkok come to the South of Thailand looking for the mysterious object. The local villagers worship what they believe to be a god. But a mysterious creature start to kill villagers at night time. The scientifists have to help the villagers to get rid of this mysterious objet. It was the first Thai science-fiction movie but it was not successful at the box office. In his first film, ChatriChalerm Yukol used new actors, whereas other filmmakers used established superstars.
