Thai movie เรือนแพ was released in year 1989 and lasts 2h06mn. It was remastered in decade 2010s by Five Stars company. It is a remake of the 1962 version. Three young guys are living together. They are Lin, wishing to be a musician, Kaew (Santisuk Promsiri) wishing to be a Thai boxing champion and Chen (รอน บรรจงสร้าง) wishing to be a policeman. So, one uses his voice, one uses his strength, one uses his brain. They are good friends with young lady Deuan (สมรัชนี เกสร). Her mother, played by Pissamai Wilaisak, accepts to rent to them an old house on the river. Friendship starts to break as debts issue occurs. The three friends start to misunderstand each other. Kaew starts to have success with Prachuap Ruekyamdee as sponsor. Chen passes policeman exams. Lin quits his music band. A thunderstorm occurs. The house is seriously damaged. Kaew and Deuan fall in water. Deuan and Kaew then become lovers under impulsion (ความรักหรือความใคร่). Deuan has still not chosen between Kaew and Chen. Chen bought an engagement ring, but he finds Kaew and Deuan kissing together. Kaew will join important boxing match. There is an opportunity to win 100 000 THB. Lin has no success as singer. Deuan's father has debts with Chao Pho Lieng Chiang Mai so he wants her to marry him. Old traditions are น้ำเน่า but Deuan has to respect parents' gratitude (กตัญญู). Kaew's fight shall be a tricked match but Kaew finally wins as he is pushed by Prachuap to behave like a real man. Kaew gets shot and beaten by his trainer, who lost a lot of money on wrong bet. Finally, Kaew gets saved by Prachuap. Kaew comes back for the wedding of Deuan. Kaew wishes to flee with Deuan. A fighting occurs. Kaew shots a few men including the groom. Prachuap recommends him to take shelter in Han's home. Han (Kowit Wattanakul) raises ducks with friends but it is only a way to keep low profile. Kaew joins him to commit robbery. Chen is mandated to capture Kaew. Kaew threatens Chen that he will not let himself capture easily as he doesn't want to end up in jail for 30 years. Han's HQ are in a pub, where the owner trades stolen goods. Lin finds a singer job in this pub. By chance, Chen, enquiring on the robberies, meets Lin in the pub. After seeing them, Han believes Lin is an undercover cop. A few days later, Han's ducks farm is stormed by Thai police as one of Han's teammates discloses the location to get lighter punishment from Thai justice. Han's colleagues are shot. Only Han and Kaew succeed to escape. Going back to the pub to get money, a shooting occurs with owner. Seeing Lin, Han shoots him. Feeling bad after seeing his friend being killed, Kaew shoots Han and flees. He goes back to the old house on the river. Deuan asks him to surrender but Kaew refuses. Police has to shoot through the old house, where he is hiding...

The musical movie “หลงเสียงนาง” is now very difficult to find in Thailand. It is easier to find a Cambodian copy (VHS tape only) than the Thai original version. In the Cambodian version, some songs are still in Thai language and not Khmer language! Many songs are featured including the hit “Long Sieng Nang” (หลงเสียงนาง). The movie scenario is quite similar to "Mon Rak Luuk Thung" (มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง), i.e. a romantic musical comedy. The movie director is Rangsee Thatsanaphayak (รังสี ทัศนพยัคฆ์). He directed around 100 movies! This movie features four veteran actors (Sawin Sawangrat, Somkuan Krajangsat, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Nirut Sirijanya as Yot) and two veteran actresses, i.e. Monrudee Yamaphai as Chalita (ชลิตา) and Thitima Sangkapitak as Chontima (ชลธิมา). The main actor is seldom seen in Thai movies, i.e. Chokchai ChokAnan (โชคชัย โชคอนันต์) as he played in two movies only. Chokchai ChokAnan is a Thai country music singer, who became famous thanks to the song “หลงเสียงนาง”. This song was even adapted in Khmer language (ลา..ลา..ลา.....). Chokchai ChokAnan is half Thai and half Indian. He is playing character Nat. A car from Bangkok is arriving with two young ladies in the village. Yot and Nat, two close friends, tease the two Bangkokian ladies with their motorbike. Finally the two couples tease each other. The Bangkok ladies wish to discover rural life and try to drive a tractor. Nat tries to seduce Chalita through love songs but she is reluctanct. Finally love emerges but the father forbids the young ladies to see the boys. They have to use tricks to see each other. Chalita is finally fianced by her father to an older Chinese Bangkokian businessman. Nat is upset but Chalita was forced. Nat sends a little boy to sing a song telling his disappointment. Chalita has to talk to him through songs (รักคุณคนเดียว). Finally the Bangkokian businessman cannot be trust as he steals money from Chalita's father. Thanks to Nat and Yot, through a final gunfight battle, the businessman and his ruffians are defeated. The father now recognizes the young men’s value and accept their love with his daughters.

Thai movie จ้าวภูผา was released in year 1983 and lasts 2h04mn. It was released under VHS format only. Phanum (Sorapong Chatree) is getting trained by teacher (อาจารย์) Pipop Pupinyo in a training camp located on a mountain. Phanum has stayed in the training camp for two years but he cannot remember who he is. A man called Chan, who brought him there, has disappeared already. He decides to leave the camp to enquiry on his past. He is now skilled enough in martial arts (ใช้ได้). He meets young lady Feui (สาวิตรี สามิภักดิ์) aggressed by three ruffians. Feui's brother is Lak Apichat. Fortune teller (หมอดู เทวดา) Feng (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) is also looking for Chan. Young lady Yeewa (ฤทัยรัตน์ อมตะวณิชย์), daughter of village headman Kwat (เจ้าพ่อใหญ่). Feui's Father is Somkuan Krajangsat. It seems that Chan has ennemies looking for him. Chan is currently working for village headman Kwat (Manop Aussawathep). Sarinthip Siriwan is playing Kwat's wife. Chat Mongkolchai is village headman's assistant. Today is Kwat's birthday celebration. Somebody offers an ominous gift (ของขวัญวันตาย), i.e. a coffin (โลงศพ). A hitman, offering a gift, shots Kwat three times. Phanum and Feng are arrested as suspected to be involved as they were not invited to the party. Lit (Rith Luecha) sent the killer in order to be the new village headman (กำนัน). Kwat survives as he was wearing a bullet jacket. Feng has to demonstrate his divine skills to show they are not involved in the murder tentative. The birthday celebration continues but during the evening Lit's ruffians bring the mess. Fighting (การต่อสู้) between Pao Porapak and Panum happens. Nakorn (Kecha Plianvithee) learns about Panum and send two hitmen to get rid of him and Chan. Chan is played by Nard Poowanai. Nakorn's ruffians are killed by Chan. Chan has to flee again. Two ruffians sent by Lit fail to shoot Panum. Panum is divided between Yeewa and Feui. Chan helps Panum and Feng attacked by ruffians while sending money to a wood sawmill. A master (อาจารย์) helps Panum to remember his real name as Ek. Nakorn is Ek's uncle. Ek was back from studying abroad. His father was killed (ถูกฆ่าตาย) and Ek lost memory while being injured. Thanks to master (อาจารย์), Ek recovers memory. Through the final, they storm the ruffians' place and all of them are shot. Unable to choose between Yeewa and Feui, Ek marries both of them!

A 70 years old man discovers he has a hidden daughter. Of course his daughter in law doesn't want to share the heritage with this girl and tries many stratagems...

Kathon is a girl coming from a poor family in a slum. She is doing small jobs to support her aging grandparents. A supermarket owner, Pakasit, catches her stealing food cans. Following her explanations, he has mercy on her. He then understands her good heart and character. He declares his love for her. But his mother looks down people coming from slum believing that they are only interested in her son's money. Hopefully his friends are coming to help Pakasit...

Thai movie เจ้าพายุ was released in year 1980 and lasts 1h55mn. It was never released in Thailand but is still available overseas in Sweden as it was sold through VHS format. Palat (Sombat Methanee) rapes Piathip Kumwong, his former wife, as he is upset she has another lover (Manop Aussawathep). A kid is born from this relationship but it has no recognized father (ไม่มีพ่อแต่ต้องมีชื่อ). Manop is said to be Yu's father. Uncle (พ่อลุง) Jaeng (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) names the kid as Thunder (เจ้าพายุ), as he is born during a storm, but his nickname is Yu. When Yu was 3 years old, Piathip left home as Palat was having a new wife called Duangcheewan. Being adults, Eum (Thitima Sangkapitak) and Yu (Sorapong Chatree) love each other since childhood. Eum's parents promise her to another man called To (Dam Datsakorn). Palat, Somsak Chaisongkram and To try everything to break this relationship. Eum and Yu flee but are chased by Palat and ruffians led by To. Yu accepts to surrender and is sent to prison. Manop Aussawathep, father of Yu, learns that Palat has been nominated as chief district. He still has a debt to pay with Palat. While Palat is resting with his family, he does attack them. Palat’s new wife (Duangcheewan Komolsen) is shot dead. Pho Seua (Choomporn Theppitak) in prison teaches Yu to master resistance and strength. Yu becomes friend with Pha (Lak Apichat) in prison. Eum, knowing that Yu's father killed Duangcheewan, cannot marry Yu anymore and accepts to marry To. Yu is devastated to learn this news. After a while, Yu is released from jail. Pha is waiting for him. Yu helps Sia Wiwat (Somchai Samipak) and his daughter Chan (Supansa Nuengpirom) Chan having issues with ruffians. He has conflicts with Chat Mongkolchai, head of workers (ป่าไม้). Meanwhile To sends some men (Somsak Chaisongkram and Pipop Pupinyo) to get rid of Yu. Siripong Isarangkul is playing the big boss. They push Manop to force his own son Pha to get rid of Yu. Pha and Yu are in fact brothers. As Pha refuses to kill Yu, To sends Paen Pleumsachai to kill him but it fails as Pha is only injured. Pha gets revenge by shooting Siripong Isarangkul. To's hidden plan is to get rid of Sia Sawat, Yu and to get the sawmill for himself and to get Chan as wife for Chat. Chat uses heavy machine to drop tree logs on the office, where Sia Wiwat and uncle Jaeng are working. Uncle Jaeng dies. Yu has to take revenge on Chat and To. Yu chases To until he can kill him. Final fighting does occur between Manop, Palat and Yu. Manop catches Yu and threatens to kill him if Palat doesn’t surrender. Yu is Palat’s real son! Piathip already lost one son so she cannot accept this and shoots Manop.

This movie is a Thai Tom Yum (ต้มยำ) western mixing action and comedy. Following a robbery, ruffians have to stop at a house to rest at night time and repair their car. They kill the whole family living there but the kid, called Yot, is only injured and promises to take revenge. He notices that the killer is wearing particular boots. Yot is rescued and healed by a Buddhist monk and doctor Meng (Adul Dulyarat). Twenty years have passed. Yot (Sombat Methanee) is coming back in the area to sell medicine. The area is under the control of mafiosi Lit and his thugs (Pipop Pupinyo and Chat Mongkolchai). Even local subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Cha (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) has difficulty to get authority from them. The district officer (นายอำเภอ) has been killed. The doctor Meng now indulges into alcohol to forget his worries. His wife, Busuba (Metta Roongrat), was deceitful and caused the death of his best friend. She is now Lit's girlfriend. A Thai country music (ลูกทุ่ง) singer (Sayan Chantaraviboon) is coming in the village and teams up with Yot. Lit (Sawin Sawangrat) tries to get rid of Yot, the country music singer and even local subdistrict headman Cha. Yot finds the 20 years old boots in Cha's barn so he believes that local subdistrict headman Cha is responsible of his parents' death. Various events (doctor Meng, Lit and Busaba die) happen until the thugs are neutralized thanks to Yot and the singer, who is in fact an undercover military officer. Remembering the Buddhist monk's advice, Yot doesn't do self justice and becomes the new district officer. It is a typical movie of end of 1970s decade with Thai country music songs, action, comedy, romance (Yot and Chewi (Supansa Nuengpirom), local subdistrict headman Cha's daughter), revenge. A previous version of ฝนใต้ was also done in 1970 already with Sombat Methanee.

A woman is about to deliver her baby. The husband brings his wife on a boat but it is caught in a storm. Their village on the island is wiped away by a tsunami. A boy is born on the boat. The boat is then attacked by a group of pirates (Manop Aussawathep, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Adinan Singhiran and Taksin Jampol). The baby life is spared and is named Ai Klang. During his youth, Ai Klang is trained to use all weapons. Salai (Wiyada Umarin) likes Ai Klang since her childhood. Ai Klang (Sorapong Chatree) has a reputation of having extraordinary skills as storm child (ลูกพายุ). He is disliked by some pirates (Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Rith Luecha and Phaophan Phongnathee) on the island. During a boat attack, the father is injured and the diviner predicts a bad omen for the village (ดาวบอก). Ai Klang and Sarapat, the other son (ลูกพ่อ), keep arguing over Salai. Their pirate (สลัด) village is located on an island. Normally they never keep survivors to avoid their hidden village to be discovered. Sarapat keeps a young lady called Chom (Duangcheewan Komolsen) for his father. She becomes in fact his mistress. Salai's family members are accused of theft. In fact, their crime is to have seen Sarapat and his mistress Chom together. Through a deadly game, two are shot but the father survives as Ai Klang fails, on purpose, to hit him three times. Ai Klang rescues a young lady Malai (Nantana Ngao Krajang) whose boat is wrecked on the island. It causes Salai's jealousy. While bringing her back to her father, Ai Klang is recognized as pirate and needs to flee. Ai Klang learns from Salai's father that he is not the real son of the pirates’ leader. While the father is away, the bad pirates get rid of Salai's father despite Ai Klang's resistance. Ai Klang is attached to a pole during rising tide but Salai helps him before he gets drowned. Sarapat takes over the island while his father is away. When the father is back, he is captured. While Sarapat and his men celebrate their victory, the island volcano wakes up. Ai Klang and a number of men faithful to the father attack the renegade pirates. Fight is fierce but they win. Salai is killed during the fightings. Ai Klang ends up fighting with his father as he killed his real parents twenty years ago. He is unable to kill him as twenty years together have created strong filial bonds. To acknowledge his mistake, the father announces that they all stop to be pirates! But it is too late as finally a tsunami wipes the island. Just before, the father sent Ai Klang and Malai to take refuge on higher grounds. ไอ้คลั่งทะเลโหด was released in year 1979 and features an impressive list of famous 1970s Thai actors. Star wars movie soundtrack is used. The movie was never released officially in VCD or DVD format but a VHS telezin version can be found around. It is supposed to be one of the few Thai movies shot in 70mm format.

Thai movie อวนดำ was released in year 1979. 1h40mn is left to be seen. Lom (Sombat Methanee) is hired to protect the interests of a company involved in fishery in Mahachai. The owner’s daughter called Nori (Aranya Namwong) is concerned about Lom’s righteousness. The movie dares a scene with two actresses (including Orasa Isarangkul) kissing each other. Net (Manop Aussawathep) brings money to local mafia leader Prachuap Ruekyamdee. Bulam (Tanyarat Lohanan), selling soup, is upset with these two ladies. So she uses Net and his ruffians to bully the ladies (รังแกผู้หญิง). Lom (Sombat Methanee) being around kicks the ruffians. Net asks Lom for one to one fighting on the next day. Krai, Sukon Koewliam, Lak Apichat are part of Lom's team. Lom defeats Net and wins. Grand mother (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) takes care about the girls. While scuba diving, Nori finds some war weapons on an island. Ruffians, aware that Nori discovered their hidden hideaway, put a bomb in her boat but she escapes to death. Bulam is now bullied by the ruffians but this time, Don Manora (Krung Srivilai) helps her. To join Net's team, Don agrees to knock out Lom but he fails. Don flees with Bulam. Don wishes to meet นาย Prachuap as he wishes to work for him. At nighttime he investigates their warehouses and finds boxes full of M16 weapons. Prachuap is upset as his stock of weapons hidden on the island has disappeared. Simulating being a spirit doctor (หมอดู), Phairoj Jaising is visiting the ruffians site. He meets เสีย Prachuap's girlfriend (Tharika Thidathip). Jaising is undercover policeman. He is recognised and captured. Don succeeds to release him and flees with Bulam. The ruffians succeed to kidnap the ladies again. Fightings happen with the police. Ruffians are overcome. Net tries to flee with the van with the girls and runs over Prachuap. He finally crashes the van in a ravine causing his death and death of Bulam also. Nori finally understands that Lom, Don and Jaising are all policemen.

Thai movie มือปืนนมสด was released in year 1978. It lasts 2h. It features Sombat Methanee as main actor and Aranya Namwong as main actress. The movie was released in Thailand under VCD format and a four minutes trailer also remains to be seen. This movie is a mix of action and comedy. A gathering of scout (ลูกป้า) is happening. A rampage, led by Yai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and Phan (Dam Datsakorn), happens as all participants are killed except Suriya Chinaphan. The village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) is shot by Phan. Den (Sombat Methanee) and Aranya Namwong, daughter of the village leader, arrive at same time in the village Don Krating (ดอนกระทิง). Den orders fresh milk and has issues with ruffians led by Phan. Den is singing Likay and is strong at shooting and fighting. Plio (Sayan Chantaraviboon), Jirasak Pinsuwan (จีรศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) and Suriya Chinaphan trap Yai but fail to kill him. Den asks to talk to Kamnan Tat Ekathat in private. Aranya decides to take over his father's activities. Her younger brother Suriya also joins her. One evening at a restaurant Den and Suriya help each other to punch the ruffians so they sympathize together. Ruffians decide to step in as Aranya wishes to federate peasants against Yai. They fail to kill Sawin Sawangrat but Den is captured and tortured. อาจารย์ Sawin and a small kid called Khom help Den. Srinuan, daughter of Yai, always discusses with Plio and shares information with him. Kamnan Tat Ekathat is killed by Yai and his daughter Dok Kaew kidnapped. Yai wishes to abuse her (ใช้กรรม) but hopefully Dok Kaew is released by Suriya. Fake policemen arrest Den, Suriya and Dok Kaew. Den is attached to a moving car by ruffians. Hopefully Aranya and Jirasak can help before it is too late. Srinuan tries to convince her father to stop but to no avail (ไม่ต้องมาสั่งสอน). Phan is having an affair with ChotChoi, Yai's wife. Phan kills those, who discovered him with ChotChoi. Sawin is called as undertaker (สัปเหร่อไม่มีวัด) by ruffians! Two ruffians leaders are opposed to each other (เสือเฒ่าพบสิงห์หนุ่ม) as Yai faces Phan (เพื่อนทรยศ). Den then faces Yai in a final duel but Aranya is the one to shoot him deadly.

Thai comedy movie มันส์เขาล่ะ was released in year 1978. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 1h03mn is left to be seen. Subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Lor Tok wishes to produce a movie with his daughters and his wife playing as actresses. His wife is played by Chosri Misommon. His daughters include Wassana (Naiyana Shewanan) and Nipaporn Nongnuch. Tawan Siriwat seems to oppose the Subdistrict headman's decision. A photo studio is managed by Prachuap Ruekyamdee and his two friends, i.e. Sayan Chantaraviboon and Rong Kaomulkadee. Prachuap and his friends convince Lor Tok to manage the movie for him. They are now looking for a main actor (พระเอก) for their movie but Fui (Sombat Methanee) is finally hired by mistake. Fui’s close friend is Thep Thienchai. Lor Tok is the movie producer so they use the money to buy a mercedes! He wishes his family to play in the movie. Somphob Benjatikul is his assistant. Fui and Wassana like each other. Boo Wibunnan is hired as movie director. They are also looking for somebody to write the story. Tawan brings them to meet Mui (Kanchit Kwanpracha) as they are looking for a ruffian (นักเลง). A ceremony for the movie launch (เลี้ยงใหญ่โต๊ะ) is organized. Fui has to sing and does it well (it is Sombat Methanee’s real voice). Thuam Thoranong as comic actor is also present. Sahat Piempongsan is used as decorator. Lor Tok always needs to protect his daughters against the young men trying to seduce them. Multiple gags happen during the shooting as Lor Tok doesn’t accept any kiss to his daughters. Phairoj Jaising is involved as actor also and a few ดาวยั่ว are joining (Tharika Thidathip). The movie shooting is a disaster. Kamnan Lor Tok is back to his village and is welcomed by Tawan Siriwat and Suriya Chinaphan singing an ironic son and teasing the Subdistrict headman. This comedy is featuring many famous comic actors from 1970s and more than 18 Thai famous actors / actresses.

Kun Thong's mother is Mae Kaew (Petchara Chaowarat) but he has no father. Mae Kaew refuses to mention who the father is. Kun Thong's mother is very religious oriented (ทำบุญ). Other children such as Saen (Lak Apichat) scold him about the lack of father. Only young girl Phikun (Piyamas Monayakol) protects him. Years have passed. Phikun is the village headman’s daughter (พ่อกำนัน). Saen is the son of a local rich influential man. Kun Thong (Sorapong Chatree) is a poor farmer. Romance is happening between Phikhun and Kunthong. Phikhun believes in kindness (ทำดีได้ดี). Kunthong helps Phikhun during the sacred cloth ceremony around the village chedi (ผ้าห่มพระธาตุ). Saen is jealous about Kunthong. Petchara recommends her son not to have hope about a wedding with Phikhun as he is poor. One day Kunthong helps a young lady called Than being aggressed by ruffians. As Than has no place to go as being sold by her family, Mae Kaew shelters her in her home. At night, while Kunthong and Than are away, Mae Kaew is aggressed by Saen and his ruffians. She losts her sight. She only remembers her aggressor wears a big specific ring. She doesn't have any enemies except Seua Yoi who killed her husband twenty years ago following cards debts. Kunthong wishes to buy eye medicine to a local doctor but pricing argument degenerates into a fight with the doctor's son, who is killed by accident (Krai Kanchit). Kunthong has to flee. Saen wishes to arrest Kunthong. Meanwhile Kunthong is looking for Seua Yoi to kill him. Nowadays Seua Yoi has become a solitary monk in a cave to expiate his past mistakes. He is not the one who hurts his mother. Kunthong misses his mum but finally becomes a thief (กรรมของเขา) but a Robin Hood like as he is only stealing from dishonest people. One day Kunthong has to kill a son in front of his mother to protect himself. He has hard feelings thinking about his own mum. Than has leper (โรคติดต่อ). Kunthong decides stopping being a thief. He gets smacked by Phikhun as he doesn't care about his mum. The one taking full care is Than despite Mae Kaew is not her mother. An engagement is arranged between Phikhun and Saen (ขันหมาก). Phikhun's father forbids her to visit Mae Kaew anymore. Mae Kaew recovers sight thanks to the eye medicine given by Kunthong (แม่มองเห็นแล้ว). Kunthong is aware of the engagement. On the evening, Phikhun disappears with Kunthong. Farmers including Mae Kaew are then expropriated. Their houses are burnt. Than is left behind due to her decease. Than dies in Kunthong's arms but has time to relate the ring story. Through a suspense final, Kunthong and Phikhun surrender to the village headman but Kunthong gets shot by Saen. Only injured, Kunthong shots back Saen. The village headman's thugs shot deadly Kunthong and Phikhun is caught in the crossfire. They die in each other arms. Both Mae Kaew and the village headman feel the pain of losing their child. This movie is really about love for mothers. It is also a tragedy as in real life Petchara Chaowarat became blind a few months after this movie released in 1978. It was her last movie.

Thai movie เลือดในดิน was released in year 1978. It features Sorapong Chatree as main actor and Aranya Namwong as main actress. Main actors and actresses are Sombat Methanee, Mayura Thanabutr, Dokdin Kanyaman, Lak Apichat, Kanchit Kwanpracha, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Choomporn Theppitak, Suriya Chinaphan, Tharika Thidathip, ธัญญา ธัญญารักษ์, พงษ์ลดา พิมลพรรณ, เชิงขวัญ ปิโยบล, เฉลิมศักดิ์, ด.ช.สุทธิศักดิ์, โฉมฉาย ฉัตรวิไล. Ek (Sombat Methanee) is the son of a rich businessman. As he is a bit lazy, the rich businessman put some special clauses in the testament before dying. Ek must become a policeman to keep his rights to heritage. He is sent to Nakhon Phanom to investigate on some illegal traffic happening at the border. As a cover job, Ek is selling goods and is having arguments with Dokdin Kanyaman, another seller. Noon (Mayura Thanabutr), daughter of a local headteacher (พงษ์ลดา พิมลพรรณ), is visiting her mother in Nakhon Phanom. Her mother is taking care of poor children. Her father is Prachuap Ruekyamdee. Relation is tense with her father as he has a new wife (เมียน้อย) called Pantip. Ruffians storm the police station. Ek and Dokdin neutralize them. Suriya Chinaphan, Ek’s teammate, meets young lady Moon there. Wan Dao and Yoti (Kanchit Kwanpracha) have business conflicts with Cheung (Lak Apichat) but they finally collaborate. Cheung and Wan Dao become lovers. Cheung's team is attacked by police led by Ek while transporting illegal goods in the jungle. Ek is injured but Dokdin is helping him to hide. Ruffians are looking for Ek to get revenge. Dokdin brings Ek to hospital and they finally flee. Ek needs to marry within three months to receive the heritage (มรดก) per the testament. Ek wishes to marry Noon but his lawyer (Choomporn Theppitak) wishes him to marry his engaged fiancée. Ek refuses as he hasn't realized that his engaged fiancée and Noon are the same person. Dokdin used a similar scenario in movie ไก่นา (1971). Yoti has arguments with Ek. Pantip is also Yoti's mistress. Ruffians storm again the school. Ladies resist. Moon hits Cheung badly and it makes him crazy. Ruffians burn the school buildings and Moon is raped by Cheung. The head teacher (แม่ครู) is kidnapped. Prachuap is aware that Pantip betrays him (ควายแก่) as policemen saw her kissing Yoti. They shot each other. Ek and his teammates storm the camp. Fierce fightings do happen. Noon takes revenge over Cheung and gets reunited with Suriya. Dokdin marries a teacher also.

Yuak (Dokdin Kanyaman) is involved in a shooting with police. He is part of a drug gang selling cannabis (กัญชา) hidden in garlands sold by kids. Yuak is finally arrested and spends 6 years in jail. His release happens just during Songkran period. His relative has taken care of his now grown-up niece, Klong (Mayura Thanabutr) (เด็กสลัม). Local policeman warns Yuak (หม้าว้ด) to beware of any misconduct if he doesn't want to go to jail again. Klong's mother Kae Son has left and stopped sending money to her. The mother went to live with a ruffian called Rot (Choomporn Theppitak). He is a violent man stealing Klong's school fee. Rot is now involved in cannabis traffic also and has a new wife. While Yuak, Klong and Songthai (Suriya Chinaphan) are playing music, police arrests some drug traffickers nearby. Afraid of police, Yuak flees in front of inspector Pheung's (Sombat Methanee) despite being innocent. They are arrested and then released but Pheung gets scolded by Klong. Prachuap (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) is a doctor fighting drug usage. He is the father of one of Klong's best friend, Phanit. Pheung is Phanit's brother. Pheung's girlfriend, Chat, dislikes immediately Klong as she is having a famous family name (สกุล) which is improbable as being a poor girl from slum (สลัม). Klong and Yai have issues with Rot and it ends up at the police station but Rot flees before as he is involved in narcotics. Yai is severely sick. Klong has no money to cure her so one of her friends in the slum sacrifices herself with men to find the money. Following an advice from Yuak, it is discovered that Chaiyut (Lak Apichat), Chat’s secret lover, is involved in drug trafficking with Rot. Following gunfight with Pheung, Rot is shot. Chatchai, Phanit's boyfriend, is also involved in the traffic. Songthai helps Phanit to flee from Chatchai. Phanit and her friends are addicted so a detoxification is needed with special herbs tea by Yuak. Prachuap hits Songthai believing he mistreated his daughter. It is a weird situation as despite having a father fighting against drug usage, a policeman brother fighting against traffickers, Phanit is still a drug addict. Prachuap finds that Klong is the lost granddaughter (หลาน) of a rich heiress. Romance starts between Klong and Pheung. The old lady caused Klong's parents to split up as she couldn't accept a poor maiden for her son. So knowing this, Klong leaves her being very angry. Pheung understands Klong’s kindness versus Chat’s selfishness. Meanwhile Chat organises the kidnapping of the old lady. Klong and Pheung help on different side to neutralize Chaiyut and his team. The old lady is freed. Ruffians are shot by Pheung. Happiness can resume in the family. Dokdin's movie แม่ดอกกัญชา is a high criticism of usage of cannabis in Thai society, either in poor neighborhood or either high society. Cannabis sinners are shown on a torn tree (Buddhist symbolism). Dokdin’s movie highlights drug traffic, prostitution and drug taking in slums. As usual, Dokdin movie mixes comedy, romance and action.

ลูกขวาน is a Thai movie released in year 1977. It lasts 1h54mn. This action movie, directed by director Kom Akadej, features a great bunch of Thai actors. Sing A (Sombat Methanee) arrives too late as his father Nae Klam died already. His father was a big mafia boss (นักเลง) so smaller bosses (Chun - Dam Datsakorn, Kam - Choomporn Theppitak, Pon - Sahat Piempongsan, Krong - Kanchit Kwanpracha) want to become the leader instead. The movie features fighting between those smaller bosses in order to become the big boss. Back from overseas, Sing A is welcomed by KoLit (Kecha Plianvithee) and by his mother (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng). Krai Kanchit challenges Sing A but as he is defeated, he finally joins Sing A's team. Ruffians are using axes (ขวาน) for fighting so giving the movie name, i.e. ลูกขวาน, "axe child". Many groups want to get rid of Sing A. Prachom (Lak Apichat) gives a hand to Sing A aggressed by motorbikes on the beach. Kam (Choomporn Theppitak), married to Metta Roongrat, is one of the small leader wanting to kill Sing A. Nop (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) and Sai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) are close friends with Sing A. Sing A finally sympathizes with Nolee (Aranya Namwong), daughter of Nop. Phi Pon (Sahat Piempongsan) and his team start hostilities and take over a mine. Mek (Chana Sriubon) and Wan are having a love affair. Tan (Manop Aussawathep) orders to kill Sing A. KoLit and Mek defeat Pipop Pupinyo and his guys trying to enter in their ranch. Krong is shot and injured by another gang. Tan refuses to work with Phi Pon (ขายหน้า). Chat Mongkolchai and his ruffians attack Mek's house but get defeated by KoLit and Mek following a long boat race. Wedding is happening between Mek and Wan. Chun is looking for troubles during the wedding but gets punched by Sing A. Tan is burnt in his car by Phi Pon's team and becomes blind. As a revenge, Phi Pon gets killed by Kanchit. Tan relearns to shoot using his ears instead of eyes. Pinyo and his ruffians kill Sing A's mother but get axed by KoLit and Mek. Kam is arrested by the police. Aranya has a cancer but Sing A still wishes to marry her. Tan takes his revenge over those who caused the fire making him blind. All mafia leaders are now out of the game except Chun. A feast is organized but Chun's ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram) are bringing a mess. Honor needs to be washed with blood (เลือดต้องล้างกับเลือด). Chun's house is stormed and Chun himself is killed but remaining people including Sing A get caught by police. This Kom Akadej's movie is a non stop action movie featuring around twenty key actors / actresses from decade 1970s.

Ruffians attack a bus and put fire into it. Hopefully military can help on time but some passengers die. Who was behind the ruffians? A local villager Chat is having financial difficulties. Nemana and Data, owners of the local sawmills, lend money to poor people with high interest. Chat bought a truck. He is close friend with Tai (Sombat Methanee), who is a village scout (ลูกเสือชาวบ้าน). The Village scouts was a right-wing group sponsored by the King and Queen of Thailand to promote national unity in 1970s. Villagers are helping each other. Due to debts (หนี้) Chat needs to give his rice fresh crop to Nemana. Poor (จน) people just work for the rich! Nemana gives him back the truck against his wife’s rice fields guarantee and allows him to cut trees in forest. He befriends with Prachan, who is Nemana’s close associate. Despite Nemana's promise, some other ruffians try to catch Chat so he has to fight back for his life. As he shots two men, he has to flee to Bangkok. They lie to him as the ruffians are not dead. He is driving a taxi in Bangkok. He gets framed by Prachan who puts drugs in his car (เล่นละคร) in order to increase Chat’s dependence to him as Chat needs to pay back his gratitude. He accepts to join their team. Nuan and Tai marry. Chat, due to easy money and lust, forgets his pregnant wife Bua (กรุงเทพสวรรค์คนมี นรกคนจน, คนลืมตัว). Back to the village Chat complains about the corruption of officials and how to benefit from it! Tai wishes to fight against this corruption that is bad for the country, fight against the bad parliament members. Tai and Chat disagree so fight (คนโทรยศแผ่นดิน). Nemana and Tai have a disagreement regarding rice selling. Tai pushes his democratic concept as villagers can sell to anybody (สหาย). It is democracy versus communism. Nemana proposes to share power and influence (แบ่งอำนาจ). As Tai refuses, they kidnap Nuan, his wife, who is teacher in order to force Tai to join them. Tai refuses their ultimatum and decides to act at nighttime. Faced to a Buddha statue, Tai prays in front of the Thai King and Queen pictures. Thai Buddhism, the monarchy and the nation were high symbols against Communism in 1970s. Patriotic songs are played in the background (รักชาติ). Tai has to use a floating wing similar to a hang-glider to enter silently their camp. He succeeds to release Nuan but they are captured while trying to escape from the camp. Chat's mother dies on a mine while trying to convince her son (คนขายชาติ) to release Tai. Through his treachery he loses his mother (สร้างกรรม). He changes side so frees Tai and Nuan. Chat dies while holding the Thai flag. Tai takes over the Thai flag. Meanwhile villagers holding Thai flags and singing patriotic songs go towards the camp. Thai army is joining them. The ruffians are defeated and some of them injured or killed. Through high compassion, soldiers give help and priority to treat them. Tai successfully removes the red (communist) flag and replaces it by the Thai flag generating cheers and dances. The song “Nak Phaendin” was released in 1975. It is was a patriotic song (เพลงปลุกใจ) against the communist influence (คอมมิวนิสต์). During 1975-1980 years, Thailand was surrounded by Communist countries (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam) and was at high risk to fall also. This movie from an historical point of view shows nicely this trouble period and how the government propaganda was done.

Thai movie มนต์เรียกผัว was released in year 1976 and lasts 2h16mn. It is a Five Star Production and a remastered version was released in mid-decade 2010s. Previously it was released under VCD format by Solar company (2h12mn). Movie director is ชุติมา สุวรรณรัตน์. This is a romantic family drama movie putting focus on couple life. Plak (Mayurachath Muarnprasitivej) doesn't trust her husband Cheut (รักงาน) as he is working always late having meetings with Somchai Samipak and manager Sak (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Ram (Somsak Chaisongkram) and aspiring model Rose (Sirikwan Nanthasiri) have a relation. Ram promises to visit her parents to officialise their relationship. Plak remains very upset as for his job, Cheut (Sombat Methanee) has to meet models. She believes he is having affairs, but she cannot catch him. It makes Cheut’s life miserable and they often quarrel. Cheut is drunk one night and meets waitress Deuan (Naiyana Shewanan). On the following day, she is aggressed and raped by two ruffians. It is a strong scene and probably one of the first movies where the main actor is unable to help the main actress. Another movie was Thon (โทน) where Chaiya is unable to help Aranya on time. It was a new trend from 1970s movies being more realistic than previous decades. Deuan's mother is played by Sulaleewan Suwanthat. Plak’s mother is played by Phong Lada Pimolpan. Rose is pregnant with Ram but he refuses to take responsibility of the baby (คนใจสัตว์) and hits her. He forces Rose to trick Cheut in order to accuse him about the pregnancy. Another day, the ruffians threaten Deuan again but Cheut and Prachuap are luckily there. They help Deuan and a fight occurs with ruffians. Cheut brings back Deuan home. Deuan's mother takes care of eight poor children and raises them so Deuan's work is important to have money for all expenses. There are children from poor prostitutes, who cannot raise them. Cheut finds a job for Deuan in Sak's company in order to work daytime instead of nightime. Plak brings trouble to Deuan so she wishes to change job. Cheut wants to have a child but Plak keeps eating birth control pills. Deuan continues to bring troubles at Cheut’s office. He gets closer to Deuan as she has everything he wishes Plak had. By hazard, Plak is present in a shop where Sak buys dresses for Deuan on behalf of Cheut. Sak organises a meeting between the two ladies to ease the tension. Deuan acknowledges she loves Cheut but gets pity from him (ความสงสาร) and not real love (ความรัก). She doesn't wish to break his marriage and mentions that Plak is a bad wife not taking care properly of his husband. Plak wants to take revenge over Cheut and goes out with Ram. Ram brings Plak to a short time hotel. He tries to abuse her but hopefully Sak, passing by, helps her. The next day, Cheut gives a lesson to Ram in a bowling alley but Ram promises to get revenge. Deuan visits a doctor and finds she is pregnant with Cheut. She has a worrying heart disease. The doctor warns she could lose her life by giving birth. But she is willing to take the risk as she knows Cheut wishes a child and she wishes to thank him for all his kindness towards her family. Plak changes her behavior and tries to be a good wife caring about her husband. On the opposite side, Cheut becomes harsher. Plak feels that Cheut changed a lot and that his love has moved to another woman. Cheut comes back home very late even on her birthday. Plak is at hospital and Cheut takes care about Deuan being sick. Ram tricks Cheut by mentioning to Rose's brother that he is one who refused to take responsibility. Cheut is kidnapped while going to Deuan's home to bring her for child delivery. Meanwhile Plak prepares to leave home for UK knowing she has lost Cheut due to her continuous jealous behavior. As Cheut is still not coming to bring Deuan to hospital, Deuan calls his home and talks to Plak without being aware. Decided to do a last good thing for Cheut, she brings Deuan to hospital and then goes towards airport. Cheut gets beaten by Rose’s brother but finally Rose confesses Ram is the father. General fighting occurs and Rose shoots Ram going to stab her brother. Cheut arrives at hospital before the delivery. Reading the letter that Plak left for him, he rushes to airport being puzzled by Deuan’s sentence that it is probably the last time they meet. He brings back Plak to hospital mentioning that such hasty departure decision should be discussed with cold heart. A child is born but Deuan has died. Plak promises to take care of all children. This movie highlights the difficulties of life for main wife (เมียกลาง) and mistress (เมียน้อย), their place in society, the choice for the husband between two wives and the way some Thai men can abuse women in Thai society (Deuan feeling ashamed of having been raped and not going to police to fill a complaint, Ram refusing assuming Rose’s pregnancy).

Thai movie กุ้งนาง was released in year 1976 and lasts 2h22mn. It is directed by Dokdin Kanyaman. A group of people is stranded on remote island. Their boat is out of petrol. Doctor (หมอ) Niran (Sombat Methanee) is engaged with So but it is arranged by parents so there is no real love between them. His friends include Wetit (Sayan Chantaraviboon) and Cheut (Choomporn Theppitak). They get help from young lad (น้องชาย) Kung (Mayura Thanabutr) seen as กะเทยใจดี. On (Dokdin Kanyaman) helps reluctantly. ตา Prachuap Ruekyamdee is very upset that they helped strangers. Kung is 17 years old and has never quit the island. To avoid similar issue as the mother dumped by a man 17 years ago, Prachuap tries to avoid any contact between Kung and external world so he even lies to her about her sexe genre. Dao, a widowed lady, asks help from doctor Niran as the clinic, launched by her former husband, is not doing well. Niran hesitates as he works for public hospital only. Cheut organises a plan so that Dao and Niran can be together alone. He organises a beach party where Niran drinks a lot. Dao and Niran become lovers. Niran accepts to work for Dao's clinic. Man (Lak Apichat) and another ruffian threaten Prachuap regarding sales of coconuts. Prachuap refuses to sell to them as he has already a contract with another company. Prachuap gets sick and ends up in hospital. Doctor Niran takes good care of him to thanks him and Kung to have helped him before. Kung stays in Niran's house to be close to the grandfather. Kung realizes that On and the grandfather lie to her regarding the differences between a boy and a girl. She realizes that she is a girl! Meanwhile Dao starts to be more and more demanding and very jealous. Niran is upset as Dao thinks about money only and is not generous with patients. Niran brings Kung to a brothel to teach him boy's life (ครู). Niran treats Kung as a male mate so many hilarious sequences occur. Prachuap goes back to his island with Kung. Niran follows them a few days later to announce to Kung that Prachuap has a final stage cancer. Meanwhile Man and his ruffians kidnap Kung. On is also captured. Finally Kung is released by the ruffians as he accepted to marry the ruffians’ leader sister, who is pregnant. Niran is back with Dao and Kung has to take care of the pregnant lady. Always looking for easy money, Dao is now involved in illegal business with Cheut. Diamond exchange fails as police intervenes. Dao flees but a ruffian chases her. As same time, Kung brings the pregnant lady to doctor Niran for baby delivery. Dao is shot dead by the ruffian. Kung is injured but succeeds to shoot the ruffian. Finally Kung confesses to Niran that she is a girl. Niran knows it since a long time! Romance can finally happen between them.

Thai movie นางงูเห่า was released in year 1976 and lasts 1h32mn as incomplete version. The movie was shown in Thai Film Archives in 2017. Movie director is กิตติพงษ์ เวชภูญาณ. One song is featured. Famous robber Cobra lady / นางงูเห่า, as Tai (Aranya Namwong), flees the police, led by Sompong (Sompong Phonmitr), after another daring robbery. Policemen fail to catch her. Tai and her brother Lak (Lak Apichat) steal jewelry from Preuhat Boonlong and Marasri Isarangkul. They also steal another couple, i.e. มล.โกมล ปราโมช and Marasri Bangchang. Prachuap Ruekyamdee, her father, is waiting for Tai outside. They have to flee the police again. The car is hidden in a truck. Police are surrounding their place as there is a traitor among the team. Adinan Singhiran sacrifices himself to attract police attention so that others can flee. Kan (Sombat Methanee) helps a young lady called Choompu (Khomapat Attaya), whose necklace has been stolen. Tai meets Kan at a waterfall while Tai is bathing. Tai’s family is still hiding from the Thai police. Lak and her mother (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit) recommend Tai not to meet Kan again as he could be an undercover policeman. Tai meets Kan again (คนกรุงเทพปากหวาน). A romance starts. Tai’s grandmother (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) is about to die and tells her that Prachuap is not her real father. Choompu likes Kan and lies that Tai already has a husband. Tai is disappointed that her father forced her to go down a wrong path. She flees and meets a monk that recommends her to go back to the right path. Kan is a policeman and receives the duty from his boss (จรูญ สินธุเศรษฐ์) to catch the cobra lady. Tai asks for a meeting one to one with the head of the police. Kan comes also. Tai is aware Kan is there. She has important information to share about Thailand security. After doing bad things, she wants to do good things for the nation. Chased by the police, her family is now involved in weapons traffic instead of jewelry traffic. The lady boss (Runglawan Sripatimakul) appreciates Tai and gives her more responsibilities. A new mission is to kill policeman Kan, who is becoming a threat for them... Ruffian Dom (โดม สิงห์โมฬี) said he can manage by himself. Tai helps Kan against Dom. Kan asks Tai to surrender and he will wait for her, but she refuses. Kan gets finally captured by ruffians. Lak and her father release police inspector Kan and open the gates to let police enter. Meanwhile Tai still pretends to be loyal to her boss but the lady boss sees that Tai betrays them. Shootings occur. The lady boss shoots Lak and his father Prachuap. Tai shoots the lady boss but it is too late as Lak and her father are dead. Kan arrests Tai. Finally, Tai is released as she is the lost daughter of the rich people she robbed before!

Prakan (Sombat Methanee) and Wi Ok Hen Lom (Chaiya Suriyun) are Pa Wieng's sons. Pa Wieng is the head of a team of bandits (โจร). Once Prakan knows Pa Wieng is not his real father, he flees to find his real father, Sing. A couple, Karn and his girlfriend Duang, is fleeing as Pa Wieng's ruffians are following them up. Karn dies but Duang is saved by Prakan (Sombat Methanee). Pa Wieng is Prakan's stepfather (พ่อเลี้ยง). Prakan is now considered as a traitor (ลูกหมา, ทรยศ) as he tried to flee. Wi Ok Hen Lom is always following Prakan remotely and helps him when needed. Prakan and Duang arrive in the adjacent district. Luang (Dam Datsakorn) is the subdistrict headman (กำนัน) and her sister Deuan (Aranya Namwong) is the village headman. They control very strictly the subdistrict. Sing was the former village headman but his authority has been neutralized. Prakan wants to find the former village headman (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) Sing, who is his real father. But Sing refuses to recognize him as his son. Prakan and Duang (เพื่อนรัก) are captured by Deuan (คนเก่ง). Sing's daughter, Kotko, supports them. Prakan helps to protect their oil stock and gets back his freedom. Finally Sing recognises Prakan (ลูกพ่อ). Luang believes Prakan is a undercover policeman (ตำรวจชายแดน). Saming is another mafia leader and is Luang's best friend. Saming and Luang destroy Prakan's house but Deuan doesn't agree (ไม่เห็นด้วย, ไม่ยุติธรรม). It is war declaration with Prakan. Prakan uses rape as weapon to revenge himself against Deuan. Luang asks the district officer (นายอำเภอ) to arrest them but Deuan provides an alibi to Prakan. Luang decides to give Deuan to Saming but Prakan rescues her on time (มารับเมีย). Now Prakan has two wives (มีเมีย2คน), Deuan and Duang! Kotko and Duang are kidnapped. Pa Wieng comes to help but dies in the fight against Luang and Saming. As expected, ruffians are defeated. It is a typical action movie from 1970s decade when local authorities were not respecting the law and were local kingpins. It is also a very bad habit in Thai movies and Thai TV series (ละคร) to use rape as an expression of love. In 2006, a Thai movie with the same name was released but it was a comedy.

Thai movie มือปืนขี้แย was released in year 1976. This action and comedy movie is lost in Thailand but the first reel lasting 26mn and a 3mn trailer are still available to be seen. Fightings happen with Dam Datsakorn and Pipop Pupinyo as they discover that Sombat Methanee is travelling hidden in their truck. Sombat is accompanied by a tall actor reminding Richard Kiel playing in James Bond movie Moonraker. Comic actor Rong Kaomulkadee is the driver. Sombat Methanee is looking for Kamnan Tawan Siriwat in order to find his mother (Marasri Isarangkul). He finds her but he wishes to identify now who killed his father. Sayan Chantaraviboon wishes to impress young lady KamPoo (Piyamas Monayakol). But he gets bullied by Chosri Misommon and Tat Ekathat. Policeman Raem Prachuap Ruekyamdee meets a friend’s daughter, who is now a teacher (ช่อเพชร). Lor Tok is Thai boxing trainer (อาจารย์). Sayan wishes to learn from him as he is not able to fight against anybody. Dao (Naiyana Shewanan) meets Sombat but clash happens between them. Other comic actors are Kokheng and Joomjim Khemlek as policeman.

Chui and Ratchin are same person. Oon shall marry Ratchin, who is from a high status family. Oon lies she is no more pure (เสียหาย) as she is Pong’s girlfriend. Ratchin refuses to cancel the wedding and forbids Oon to meet Pong anymore. Engagement (คู่หมั้น) shall happen. Malee is helping Oon to meet Pong. Pong wishes to flee with Oon but Oon cannot do this as it would bring disgrace to her parents and her family name (เกียรติ). As Pong loves really Oon, he has to sacrifice himself (เสียสละ). Chui / Ratchin is aware of Malee’s stratagems. Prachuap meets Pong. Ratchin prevents Oon to meet Pong and wishes to accelerate the wedding. Ratchin asks Pong to stop seeing Oon but Pong asks to meet her a last time. Ratchin still believes Oon is pure and wants to avoid Pong being the first. Oon and Ratchin keep fighting. Finally Oon succeeds to escape from Ratchin. She meets Pong but faints. Pong tries to abuse her but gets stopped on time by Ratchin. Pong's intentions were not as pure as he always mentioned. Oon finally marries with Ratchin. This movie similar to many movies from decades 1960s~1970s is about arranged weddings and early engagement done by parents but it finally ends happily.

Young lady Kaewta (Suthisa Putnuch) is disappointed as she believes there is a love story behind his sudden return. Sathit meets Saipin (Petchara Chaowarat), student coming back from USA, in the train. Likay (Orasa Isarangkul) and Cheunchai (Man Teeraphol) welcome Saipin in Phitsanulok. Uncle Jing (Dokdin Kanyaman) is a teacher and Deuan (Donnapha Sophee) is his daughter. Saming (Choomporn Theppitak) and Sataya (จีรศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) have arguments with Sathit and Jing. Saipin is uncle Saeng's daughter (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Saeng owns the land where Jing's school is located, and all local villagers are indebted to him. Sathit's mother is played by Somjit Sapsamruey (ลูกไม่รักดี), being almost blind. Half of his land was sold to Saeng to pay for Sathit’s studies, so she is upset that he stops studying. Kaewta is a new teacher arriving in Jing's school. She wishes to be close to Sathit. Sataya wishes to marry with Deuan. Love triangle occurs between Sathit, Kaewta and Saipin. Saming and Cheunchai manage an illegal game den (บอล) where villagers get poorer. One villager hangs herself due to debts. Sathit decides to get rid of this underground den. Deuan is pregnant with Sattaya but he refuses to recognize his paternity. Sathit calls the police to have the den closed. Upset, Saming decides to get rid of Sathit. Sathit organizes a rebellion to increase the salary of the farmers paid by Saeng. Sawin Sawangrat is part of the rebellion. Saipin helps the villagers by buying food for them (แจก) but villagers are reluctant to accept. Saipin gives secretly money to the mother to pay back her debt. The ruffians burn Sathit's fields to prevent him selling goods to help villagers. Sathit wishes to get revenge but Kaewta calms him down. Sathit loves Kaewta like a sister (น้องสาว). Sad, she wishes to go back to Bangkok, but she finally stays because of poor children needing her. Due to money conflict, Saming kills Cheunchai. Rats eat the supply so even Sawin dies due to disease. Saipin lets the farmers take the rice inside Saeng's barns. Upset, Saeng chases Sathit. Saming is also shot by Saeng. About to shoot Sathit and Jing, Saeng understands that Saming was the one being dishonest with farmers by using the den to make them poor and buying their land at low price. The movie ends up with Thai King Rama IX car convoy passing by and rain falling through a cloud having the Royalty symbol shape.

Thai movie รักคืนเรือน was released in year 1972. Main actor is Sombat Methanee and main actress is Petchara Chaowarat. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of one hour remains to be seen. The remaining sequence shows a high society party with Petchara singing a song. Petchara is then discussing with Somjit Sapsamruey, her mother. Her mother wants her to marry the son of a friend as they are poor. Veteran actors (Prachuap Ruekyamdee and Songthong), a doctor and a young man (ทม วิศวชาติ) are visiting them. Petchara and the young man appreciate each other. Veteran actress Chosri Misommon is playing a domestic helper. Sombat later on arrives. He is welcomed by Sisala Thongtara and Somjit, then also by Metta Roongrat and Petchara. Petchara is not so happy to meet Sombat. Somjit is feeling unwell and ends up at hospital. Certainly Somjit asks Petchara to really consider Sombat as engagement but Petchara loves already another man. Misunderstanding happens between Petchara and Sombat. A fire in the house happens. This is a romantic drama.

Movie น้ำผึ้งพระจันทร์ is 2h21mn long. Sae (Sombat Methanee) is a Thai soldier visiting Cairo. He is having a few drinks with Tai (Charin Nantanakorn). While back to his room, there is a Thai lady (Petchara Chaowarat) hiding in his bed. Her name is Honey. She claims to be chased by some Egyptian men as she refuses to marry a rich local man. Honey is in fact princess (เจ้าหญิง) Assama. She has to flee as some influential people want to coerce her father. Many beautiful area of Cairo are shown (Gizeh pyramids, mosques, Sphinx) and also local culture (belly dance, horse dance). She needs to exit Egypt to escape those ruffians. One way to exit Egypt is for Sae to marry Honey (นาทีคนไทยใจดี) ! But he refuses. Following a new kidnapping tentative over Honey, he feels pity over her and her tears. He finally proposes the wedding himself. They finally escape from Egypt and go in Italy through romantic places such as Venezia, Roma Colosseum, Trevi fountain. Love is emerging. They finally back to Thailand. A lady called Wassinee is waiting for Sae at the airport so they get separated abruptly. Sasemg (Sahat Piempongsan) is upset with his young brother's behavior. Sae's sister wants a wedding between Sae and Wassinee. Sae is concerned as he cannot forget Honey (คนที่มีความรักแท่จริงต้องชานะเสมอ). Many years ago Tai chose to flee away with his love as his girlfriend was rejected by his family. Sae’s brother, Sasemg, highlights that soldiers have to follow up rules. Duty and love are sometimes on the opposite side. The movie also shows that Thailand has as many beautiful spots as Cairo or Roma. Honey has to do the guide promoting Thailand tourist spots. They are still upset towards each other (ความรักเป็นสิทธิ์หัวใจ). War emerges at the Thai border. Sae and Tai have to go. Tai wishes to prove he can also accomplish duties. Tai dies while washing his honor. Sae is injured but believed to be dead. Finally Honey accepts the wedding proposal of an Arab prince believing Sae is dead. Sae is back but he doesn't want to break the royal woes. The movie finally ends up happily for them as princess Assama surprises Sae at the place they made their love oath. A few songs are featured in the movie.

Pum (Mitr Chaibancha) loves Deuan Chai but his parents want him to marry Prakai Fa (Khomapat Attaya), a young lady he doesn't love. Mitr consults his lawyer Pattai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and they set up a plan. As Deuan Chan is still studying in Japan for 8 months, they need to find a fake lady to convince the aunt (คุณหญิง) that Pum is already married to Deuan Chai and to cancel engagement with Prakai Fa. A job advertising is posted. Yai (Pissamai Wilaisak)(นางหนู), old style young lady, answers to it. Daonoi Duangjai is playing funny character as usual. The aunt is very direct (ปากร้ายใจดี). As wife and husband, Pum and Yai need to share the same room so it causes some issues. Pum's mother doesn't like Yai and wishes to cancel Pum and Deuan Chan's marriage. The mother tries to add jealousy between Pum and Yai by pretending Yai and Pattai are close together. Sathi (Metta Roongrat), close friend with Pum, has a fiance called Pirapee. Prakai Fa arrives and is shocked to discover Deuan Chan as she is supposed to get engaged with Pum. Pum is very jealous regarding Yai. It seems Yai has also a fiance (กุมาร) called Prasan (Choomporn Theppitak). In fact Yai, real name Ranaree, is coming from Songkhla and is also coming from a rich family. Her brother is Pirapee. She has to follow her parents' decision (ต้องทำตามคำสั่งของพ่อ). This movie features the last sequence in Mitr Chaibancha's life. Real Deuan Chan (Prim Praphaporn) is back so Yai prefers to leave. Pum has to disclose the truth to his aunt. The last sequence of the movie is using a replacement of the main actor as Mitr Chaibancha was already dead. Finally the movie ends happily with Pum and Yai staying together.

Kampee (Sombat Methanee) is orphan but gets patronized by his older sister Rampoei, who is married to rich merchant Vivat. Kampee (คัมภีร์) is engaged with Rewadee (Naowarat Watchara). He goes to study abroad. When he comes back, his fiancee Rewadee is going to marry Pinjo, who was a former friend. Kampee, disappointed, causes big arguments during the wedding, gets beaten and thrown away in the water. When he wakes up, he meets for first time a young woman called Ailada (Aranya Namwong), riding a bicycle and going to help him. Surprised, he leaves rashly by taxi (คนบ้า). Kampee leaves his home as Pinjo’s father forces him to go to Sukhothai province. Rampoei wants Kampee to marry Walli, younger sister of Vivat. Kampee meets Ailada again in Phitsanulok train station and they argue again. Kampee shall be the head of forest guards in district Huay Krai. Kampee is welcomed by Plang (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), his assistant. Ailada is Plang‘s daughter! Kamnan Preuang (Sawin Sawangrat) is doing illegal business in the forest by cutting trees. Plaew, son of Kamnan Preuang, loves Ailada since they are kids. Plang and Kampee have a plan to stop those illegal activities. Having learnt this, Ailada informs Preuang. So Kampee's plan fails. Aware that Ailada is the one who disclosed the plan, Kampee has arguments with her but Ailada finally understands and recognises her mistake. Love starts to emerge. Walli is coming to visit Kampee. To get rid of Walli, Kampee claims he is already engaged with Ailada so she has mischievous behavior with Kampee! Kamnan Preuang and Plaew get agreement with Pinjo to use Rewadee to ease Kampee. Pinjo wishes to kill Kampee as he cannot stand to have Rewadee close to Kampee. It is discovered that Plaew is the real son of Plang and not Preuang. Plaew and Ailanda are then brother and sister! Plaew and Ailanda are looking for Kampee knowing he is endangered by Pinjo’s plans to kill him. A thunderstorm happens. Kampee and Ailanda take refuge in a cave. A snake is threatening them. Plaew and Rewadee take refuge in a cave also. Pinjo misunderstands Plaew’s intention to help Rewadee. He finally falls in the river and dies. Back from the forest, learning that Kampee and Ailanda plan to marry, Rewadee still tries to get back Kampee and simulates to have spent the night with him. It causes Ailanda’s ire, who then flees away. Rewadee apologizes but it is too late. Ailanda is gone and Kampee is back to Bangkok. Kampee indulges in alcohol and finally accept his sister’s proposal to marry Walli. Rewadee is pregnant with Plaew. As Ailanda is back to district Huay Krai, Plaew decides to stop Kampee’s wedding with Walli to ensure Kampee can marry Ailanda! Plaew lies that Kampee made a young lady pregnant in district Huay Krai so he needs to assume. Finally Kampee and Ailanda are reunited.

The DVD features a red picture as the film found was very old. The movie is directed by Dokdin Kanyaman. Jae (Dokdin Kanyaman) and Kai Na (Petchara Chaowarat) sell goods but have issues with policeman Tawan (Sombat Methanee) currently chasing ruffians. Kai Na is a former nurse. She helps an injured man called Chat (Sawin Sawangrat), who claims he was chased by ruffians. After recovery, he flees away and leaves a letter behind. Kai Na brings the letter to the recipient in Bangkok. She meets Mae Nuan (Juree Osiri) and her domestic helper Orasa Isarangkul. The husband Prachuap Ruekyamdee wishes to know where Chat is located now. Prachuap is Chat's old friend. Mae Praem has 20 000 baht debt with Chadaporn Wachirapranee. Her daughter Pan is played by Khomapat Attaya and her bodyguard is Choomporn Theppitak. Prachuap helps Mae Praem with her debt. Prachuap wishes Kai Na to marry his son per Chat's request. Prachupap's son is Tawan! Kai Na accepts as she feels indebted to Prachuap's kindness. As Tawan refuses to marry an unknown lady, he convinces his brother Teewa (จีระศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) to marry her. He secretly loves Kai Na. During the wedding ceremony, Tawan realises that the bride is Kai Na herself! He keeps drinking alcohol to forget his mistake. Teewa was promised to Pan already so her family brings a mess during the wedding party. Pan is already pregnant with Teewa. Teewa announces the news to Kai Na and cancels the wedding. Tawan meets finally Chat, who had been chased by weapons traffickers. Tawan has to go at the Thai border in the North of Thailand. Government official announced that Tawan has disappeared in the forest. To forget her pain, Kai Na and others decide to go helping hill tribes. They give medicine, food and also King / Queen images to them. Teewa is hiding in the mountains as a hill tribe villager as he is chasing some weapons traffickers. Two small parts of the movie are in damaged state and are in fact former songs filmed in 35mm format. In 1960s, movies were shot in 16mm format and had to be dubbed. Songs were shot in 35mm format to have image and sound together. The original movie included 7 songs but only 2 are left. The traffickers storm the hospital where Kai Na is working. The movie ends up happily as Tawan defeats the ruffians. Choomporn is shot. While being in the mountain, Tawan got another wife (a sexy actress - ดาวยั่ว - as usual in Dokdin’s movies). Other actors and actresses are พงษ์ลดา พิมลพรรณ, ธัญญา ธัญญรักษ์, สิงห์ มิลินทราศัย, ดลนภา โสภี. Dokdin Kanyaman’s movies always include many different tastes (action, romance, comic, a bit of light erotism) in order to please the whole family.

Khun Charoon was a formal village resident and gave 100 rai to the local community. He passed away recently, so his daughter, Mae Priaw, will soon visit the village. Ai Tui is Sombat Methanee, son of sub district headman Chin. Misunderstanding happens as the villagers expect Mae Priaw to be an old lady. She is a young lady played by Petchara Chaowarat. Phong Lada Pimolpan accompanies Mae Priaw. Mae Priaw writes a song for Tui as his popular song has no lyrics except his name mentioned in loop. Ruffians storm the village trying to kidnap Mae Priaw, but Tui and villagers push them back. Bon (Orasa Isarangkul) and Bua (Khomapat Attaya) love Tui, who is very popular in the village. Finally, Khun Priaw has to go back to Bangkok. Tui promises to help if she needs anything. Khun Pliaw (Man Teeraphol) is heritage asset manager, but he is bringing trouble to Khun Priaw. Priaw is introduced to a man coming back from overseas through a singer friend (จิมมี่ หลินชง) called Wara. His face is similar to Tui despite wearing big sunglasses. He helps Khun Priaw to avoid a car accident. As Khun Priaw is not interested in Khun Pliaw, it is suspected that Khun Pliaw is behind the kidnapping or murder tentative faced by Khun Priaw. Lady Pring is back with her right-hand Tuan (Choomporn Theppitak) and her daughter Prae (Malalin Bonnak). Pring (Chadaporn Wachirapranee), just released from prison, is Khun Charoon’s sister and would like Pliaw to get rid of Priaw so that she can enjoy the heritage also. The ladies Priaw, Bua and Phong Lada agree to ask Tui to help them. In other to avoid raising Pliaw's suspicion, Tui shall pretend answering to a gardener job. While applying to the job, Tui had arguments with Tuan and Pliaw. Pring plans to get back the heritage and asks Tuan to find somebody able to forge fake signatures. Meanwhile Prae simulates friendship with Priaw. On the beach, Tui declares his love indirectly to Mae Priaw. Prae claims that Khun Priaw is waiting for Tui on a remote island. This is a trick to be alone with Tui. She drugs him to seduce him. Pliaw brings Priaw to see the scene, so that she loses faith in Tui. It is also uncovered that Tui gets a university diploma. Priaw believes Tui is a liar. Tuan puts pressure on lawyer Udom (Sawin Sawangrat). Later on, Pring requests a meeting with Khun Priaw and Udom. Udom has found a new letter from Khun Charoon. It is a new will favoring Pring and canceling the previous one favoring Priaw. Khun Priaw leaves the house. Tuan and his ruffians take the land back given by Mae Priaw to villagers. Villagers are in a bad situation. Tui convinces Khun Priaw to fight back and go to court. Tui brings Udom to testify it is a forged letter. Pring ends up in jail again, but Tuan succeeds to flee. He plans to kidnap Khun Priaw in order to get money to release Pring. Tuan and his men storm the village. Tui, his father and Wara fight with the ruffians, but Tuan succeeds in kidnap Khun Priaw. Tui chases Tuan by speed boat and succeeds in neutralizing Tuan. Priaw and Tui are reunited again.

Thai movie มนต์รักจากใจ was released in year 1971. It features Chat (ชัช) Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand but a five seconds sequence remains to be seen. Actors featured are Lor Tok, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Krai Kanchit, Somkuan Krajangsat, Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit and many country folk singers ศรีไพร, บุปผา, ศรคีรี, บรรจบ, ไพรวัลย์, พรไพร, รุ่งระวี, วิภารัตน์. Rangsee Thatsanaphayak (รังสี ทัศนพยัคฆ์) was the director and producer. Rangsi wanted to do a new movie similar to Mon Rak Luuk Thung and with same actors. As Mitr Chaibancha died earlier so he hired one relative of Mitr! 20 songs are featured! The movie was not successful as people compared with the version with Mitr Chaibancha.

The movie is lost in Thailand but a dubbed sequence in 16mm format lasting 1h30mn was shown in Thai Film Archives. The movie takes place in Saiyok area, Kanchanaburi province. Multiple songs are featured. Trailer sequences show various action and romance scenes. The remaining film is in 16mm format but songs are in 35mm format so songs sequences have poor quality as 35mm film degrades faster in time. Prachuap is trying to seduce Metta. Petchara's father, Sawin, doesn't like people from Bangkok. Sombat and Prachuap are accused to be robbers.

A Thai Chinese community is celebrating Chinese New Year (ตรุษจีน) though dances (รำ) and songs. Even Songthong is singing a few songs before being killed as suddenly the village is attacked. Hin is the leader of the pirates (โจร) who attack the village. Many villagers are captured or killed. Four children, two boys (Phet, Chiang Ho) and two girls (Kae, Lilin), promise to revenge their parents and punish Hin. The kids get separated. Fifteen years have passed. Seua and Kae love each other but their love is endangered as it is discovered Seua is Koeb's son. Koeb has cut Kae's mother arm during the village attack fifteen years ago. Their love becomes impossible. Back home Kae finds her mother dead. Chiang Ho and Lilin are back from China and ready for revenge. They meet Kae and look for Phet, the last friend. Phet has been raised by Hin and is called Praew. Hin, following the fall of Ayutthaya, has become lord of the province. The three friends attack directly Hin's fort but are defeated as Phet supports Hin, the pirate leader, and is now a traitor (ทรยศ). The two girls are captured as Seua also betrays Kae. Seua is the one who killed Kae's mother. Phet had to lie and simulates as he is an Ayuthaya soldier (งานของแผ่นดิน). He loves the king and the kingdom. Hin is making an alliance with Burma to sell canons (โจรขายชาติ). Phet's double game is disclosed. He is captured by Hin and his fingers are broken to prevent any fighting. Hopefully Chiang Ho can help and they flee from the fort. Lin takes care (รักษาพยาบาล) of Phet. They ask support from their old teacher but he refuses to believe that Hin is a traitor. Finally faced to the truth he decides to help. Surpassing the pain, Phet fights for the kingdom (ช่วยแผ่นดิน). Elephants are used to defeat Hin’s soldiers. Despite being outnumbered, the fierce Siamese soldiers succeed to defeat the traitors and Burmese soldiers in order to save the King. Many sword fights and kung fu / Thai boxing fights typical from 1970s Hong Kong movies are featured. The King’s face cannot be seen but Thai royal music is played to indicate his presence. This movie is really typical from years 1970s when patriotic movies were shot due to the communist threats at the Thai borders. The movie features two Hong Kong movies stars. It takes two years to shoot the complete movie. It was an expensive movie to make as real soldiers were used, a fort has to be built along a mountain and then destroyed by explosives.

Wan is going to study to Bangkok. Nui and Yot are his friends. The war with Japan happens. A group, led by a Japanese sergeant, opens a torture camp to interrogate pretended traitors and weapons robbers. Some innocent villagers are arrested including Wan's father. Wan is back and is now a soldier. Wan meets Tawisak, a Thai working for Japanese soldiers and delivering water to them. He is seen as a traitor by Wan and Yot. Wan has issues with a Japanese soldier as he is arrogant so he needs to flee. Wan meets teacher Raiwan (Petchara Chaowarat), who is teaching adults in order for them to know how to read. They all agree to do resist to Japanese occupants. How to help those captured by the Japanese soldiers? Wan joins a group of workers building the railway to Burma. He has issues with the Thai guards, led by Sing, working for the Japanese soldiers (คนไทยทรยศ). He is imprisoned with his father. Meanwhile his friends are acting to free them while Japanese soldiers and Thai traitors are having food and alcohol. Tawisak is playing double game. They flee successfully. Wan decides to become Seua Bai (โจร), a ruffian, in order to fight again the Japanese invaders and the Thai traitors. They steal weapons from Japanese army and start resistance. Nong and her brother miss their father so quit the group. They are captured by another group of ruffians. Wan defeats their leader in one to one fight. Wan misses the teacher Raiwan. He is upset as living as a ruffian he cannot have a real love story with the teacher Raiwan but he does it for the country (เสรีไทย). They plan to disrupt the railway to Burma. Teacher Raiwan and Tawisak participate but are uncovered by a Japanese group led by Sing. Through an ambush, Tawisak is freed but Wan's father dies while protecting his son. Wan's team attacks the Japanese camp and releases Raiwan. As promised to his father, Wan stops to be a robber and surrenders to police (มอบตัว). Teacher Raiwan will be his guarantee. It is a typical action movie from 1960s-1970s with some nationalist and patriotic savor. It is a 2h15mn movie and the image quality is quite red tinted color and damaged. This movie is based on the life of Mr. Bai Sa-ad-dee (นายใบ สะอาดดี), who was one of the most famous Thai robbers in 1940s. His name was Seua Bai (เสือใบ). Other movie remakes on Seua Bai were done in 1984 and in 1998.

Kamnan Noon (Kanchit Kwanpracha) and Krok (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) (พี่ชายต่างประเทศ) are visiting a rich people house. They are welcomed by Lomjai (Petchara Chaowarat) and Iten (Orasa Isarangkul) as domestic helper. Krok comes back after 20 years in his family. He is a lost uncle's son. The uncle has disappeared 20 years ago. Despite having a letter to prove his identity, Krok is not accepted in Thao Thong lineage (ตระกูล) by the father Lom (Somkuan Krajangsat) as Krok doesn't have big feet seen as a family sign. Other family members are Srisala Thongtara (ศรีสละ ทองธารา), Juree Osiri, Prim Praphaporn. Lomjai flees and brings Krok and Noon to meet another family member who is policeman in Chumphon province. Noon and Krok get arrested and accused of kidnapping Lomjai. Noon’s father gives guarantee to have them released from jail. Lomjai proposes to marry Noon to avoid him being sued by his father Lom. Neng, Sister of Noon, is played by Metta Roongrat. Noon helps Lomjai’s father aggressed by ruffians. A parallel romance is starting between Neng and Lomjai's brother. Lom asks for proper traditions but once Lomjai is back to Bangkok, the wedding is cancelled. Lomjai cannot exit from home. Iten tries to help her to flee but to no avail. Krok becomes India airlines manager (ผู้จัดการ) thanks to his uncle to show to Lom his worthiness. Lom rejected Krok as he didn’t want to share heritage with additional family members. Utit (Adul Dulyarat), Lom’s brother, is back after recovering his memory. Lom tried to get rid of him twenty years ago. Lom’s father (Lor Tok) asks him to surrender to police. Cornered, Lom kidnaps his own father and Lomjai. He finally gets arrested by the police. The movie ends up happily. This romantic drama comedy is based on family rivalry regarding heritage.The movie เขยตีนโต was released in year 1971 but it only lasts 1h23mn as some parts of the movie are missing so the story sometimes suddenly jumps from one sequence to another. The image is of bad quality and is not sharp but the movie has historical value as one of the first movies with Kanchit Kwanpracha replacing Mitr Chaibancha as main actor following Mitr premature tragic death. The poster mentions 7 songs (unfortunately cut and not available on the VCD) and 22 stars present in this movie.

Thai movie ม้ามืด was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 2h35mn. It is former 16mm format film featuring three songs in 35mm format. Robbers (โจร) are chasing a caravan driven by Kaew (Sawin Sawangrat). Kaew lets a lady called Raya (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit) to go down first with two young children. Sawin and Raya's husband die later as the caravan falls in a ravine causing a forest fire. During the fire, one of the children disappears (หลานสาว). Sai (Juree Osiri), the husband's mother, accuses Raya to be responsible of those deaths. Prachuap Ruekyamdee, one of the villagers, finally takes care of Raya and her remaining son. Years have passed. The son Chaichan is now an adult and played by Sombat Methanee. He is back from overseas and is supposed to marry but the fiancee Taem Duang changes her mind. He needs to find a solution to avoid his parents losing face (ขายหน้า) in front of the villagers. He helps Meut, a young girl, agressed by ruffians. As a reward for his help, he asks to marry her temporary. The district officer performing the wedding is played by Lor Tok. Keng (Orasa Isarangkul) is Meut (Petchara Chaowarat)'s friend. After the wedding, Meut flees with Keng. In a village, they meet a crazy man who looks like Kaew. They meet also Dokdin Kanyaman. In fact, Meut and Keng have come here to look for petrol. Meanwhile Taem Duang (Khomapat Attaya) and her mother Rasee (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) are gossiping (นินทา) on Chaichan as they believe he was a fake rich guy from countryside. Meut was in fact adopted by Rasee's old husband. Meut wishes to buy a plot of land belonging to Prachuap as it contains petrol. Once Prachuap knows Meut has married his son through a fake wedding, he refuses to sell the land anymore (เขตป่าไม้). Choomporn Theppitak is used by Rasee to perform dirty jobs. Knowing that Meut failed to buy the land, Rasee wants to use her daughter's charms towards Chaichan. Meut recalls from an old grandma that she was brought by her to a rich family when she was young. Chaichan try to stop ruffians led by Choomporn burning the forest (ไฟไม้ป่า). Kaew helps him but gets beaten on the head. His memory is back. Prachuap revels that Kaew is real father of Chaichan, his former associate. Father and son are back together. Bua, a local villager, is pushed by Choomporn and Rasee as granddaughter in order to get heritage but it fails. Finally Rasee, who ordered kidnapping of Meut, shows her real face and tries to force her older husband to transfer heritage to her. Meut and Chaichan stop her on time. It is revealed that Meut is Raya's lost daughter. Meut and Chaichan can now find happiness.

This movie is about a young man coming from a rich family. He loves singing and falls in love with a young woman coming from a poor family. The rich family tries to break this relationship. The original movie has some beautiful songs but the sound was altered due to aging. Unfortunately Lepso company just cut them instead of trying to put back the same song still available in record format.

บ้านสาวโสด is a Thai movie released in year 1970. It features Kanchit Kwanpracha as main actor and Petchara Chaowarat as main actress. The movie was started with Mitr Chaibancha but it was incomplete due to his premature death. So the main actor was replaced by Kanchit. Another version with Toon Hiransap and Piyamas Monayakol was released in year 1984. In 1970 Mitr Chaibancha worked in many movies in parallel. So some movies still kept one or two sequences of Mitr at the beginning of the reel as additional advertisement for the movie. Around 1 hour 30 minutes is left to be seen. Three single ladies (Metta Roongrat, Prim Praphaporn, Juree Osiri) are living together. Petchara arrives in their home. She is doing chores. Their neighbour is Kanchit Kwanpracha. Other actors are Somkuan Krajangsat, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Orasa Isarangkul, Adul Dulyarat, Sukon Koewliam, Lor Tok, Jomchai Jarintorn. Kanchit likes Petchara very much. Funny sequences happen on beach seaside between Sukon Koewliam and Prim Praphaporn. Misunderstanding keeps happening between Kanchit and Petchara as other ladies try to seduce Kanchit. It seems that Petchara will marry Prachuap as she is disappointed by Kanchit. Finally kidnappers enter in Petchara's home but they are chased away by Kanchit and captured by Adul Dulyarat and Orasa Isarangkul. Outside the home kidnappers are there again and threaten to shoot Kanchit. Petchara stand between Kanchit and the ruffians to prevent any shootings showing her real love towards Kanchit. In fact kidnappers are this time Adul and Osara playing this trick to force their reconciliation. Six songs are featured. There are still old still pictures showing Mitr playing movie บ้านสาวโสด and the movie poster is also showing his name.

Somjit Sapsamruey is Sombat's mother. Prachuap Ruekyamdee releases Jub Jaeng but it is a coup monté. It seems that Jub Jaeng is coming from a rich family. Khomapat Attaya and her mother Sarinthip Siriwan are having arguments with Jub Jaeng. Sukon Koewliam and Chosri Misommon are playing comic roles a domestic helpers. Sombat tries to seduce Jub Jaeng. They finally become lovers. Khomapat and her mother denigrate Jub Jaeng towards Sombat. Khomapat pushes Aranya in the stairs. She ends up at hospital. Wilaiwan and Somkuan finally find Jub Jaeng. They finally get reunited thanks to Sompong Phonmitr. This movie features sequence shot in famous Daimaru former shopping mall. Prachuap has a leg injury and is visited by twin ladies (real singers อารยา ปาริชาติ ฉายาลักษณ์). Finally the parents let Jub Jaeng go with Sombat. Khomapat and her mum are upset about the gifts bought by Sombat to Jub Jaeng. Sombat tries to end the dispute with Khomapat but it ends up badly. While walking on the beach, he gets stabbed by ruffians. Khomapat gets also aggressed by ruffians on the beach. Khomapat tries to hit Jub Jaeng again but she fights back and finally decides to quit this crazy house. Prachuap and Sombat finally understand Khomapat’s bad games. Sombat rushes after Jub Jaeng and they finally reconcile.

Thai movie กิ่งแก้ว was released in year 1970. It features Mitr Chaibancha as main actor and Suthisa Putnuch and Sopha Sataporn as main actresses. Other actors featured are Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Adul Dulyarat, Surasit Sattayawong, Khomapat Attaya, Adinan Singhiran. The movie is lost in Thailand but luckily a four minutes sequence featuring a song remains to be seen. Unfortunately Mitr Chaibancha cannot be seen in the remaining four minutes sequence. The singer is ชินกร ไกรลาศ, famous singer during decades 1960s and 1970s. The whole movie features three songs. Normally songs were in 35mm format but for provinces everything was in 16mm format to avoid the pain of having to use two projectors. Three songs were featured in this movie.

Thai movie กำแพงเงินตรา was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 1h40mn. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is bringing Yong (Mitr Chaibancha) on a boat. Yong meets Nam Pheung (Petchara Chaowarat) and Sarai (มิสฮันหวา), daughters of subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Lor Tok. Yong is interested in Sarai but Nam Pheung doesn't trust him. Sompong Phonmitr, subdistrict headman's domestic helper, also dislikes Yong. Nam Pat, subdistrict headman's wife, is aggressed while meeting her lover Phi Bun, who is killed. Subdistrict headman Lor Tok is aware his wife was having a lover but forgives her. A new chief district officer (นายอำเภอคนใหม่) called Tamanoon (Adul Dulyarat) visits subdistrict headman's house. He is widowed with three kids. Yong and Sarai love each other but Nam Pheung (เด็กบ้า) tries to break their relationship and wishes to push Sarai toward the new chief district officer by using Prachuap to write false letters. Aunt Chan (Somjit Sapsamruey) has debts towards the subdistrict headman so Yong, being her nephew, repays the debt by working in their house. Yong is a music teacher. Yong helps Tamanoon aggressed by ruffians. Tamanoon asks for Sarai's hand so Yong decides to flee with Sarai. Mae Pat wishes to join them to be Sarai's domestic helper. Nam Pheung hears them and informs Tamanoon. During a celebration organised by the subdistrict headman, they wish to flee but Nam Pheung brings mess again and foils their plan. So finally Yong ends up kidnapping Nam Pheung. Upset, Yong forces Nam Pheung. But then Yong regrets his act and takes good care of her as she is sick. Choomporn Theppitak is his close friend. At nighttime Nam Pheung tries to flee and is aggressed by ruffians. Yong helps on time but is seriously beaten. Nam Pheung understands he is a nice guy. Yong accepts to bring back Nam Pheung to his father and to face whatever her father, a subdistrict headman, will do to him. Probably shoot him dead! Tamanoon wishes to help and prepares a plan in secret. While the father is unable to decide who to punish, his daughter or Yong, Adinan Singhiran attacks the father per Tamanoon’s plan. Yong, unware of the plan, protects the subdistrict headman and gets slightly injured. The subdistrict headman seeing that Yong is brave and good man forgives to him and allows the wedding. Yong and Nam Pheung can marry happily. The DVD picture is really beautiful. Toh Phanmitr (คุณโต๊ะพันธมิตร) has done a great job by restoring this movie and releasing it.

This folk-music movie is one of the most famous Thai movie. It run during six months in Bangkok and generated more than 7 millions baht revenue. It features 14 folk or "LUUK THUNG" (ลูกทุ่ง) songs. It is about a love story between a poor farmer and a young woman coming from a richer family. Movie fans from Nakhon Pathom, Ayuthaya and Singburi have been hiring at least two buses a day to take them and from the theatre in Bangkok. It was a winning combination of the most Thai popular film stars and folk songs of the time. "Mon Rak Luuk Thung" (มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง) has been adapted in many other movies versions (1982, 2004) and TV series (ละครรีเมค) (1995 CH7 with Saranyu Wongkrachang, 2005 CH7, 2010 CH3 with Jintara Sookkapat as the mother and Santisuk Promsiri as the local mafia head). This movie is part of the first 25 films heritage list announced on October 4 2011, which is Thai Movies Conservation Day.

The masked vigilante crimefighter, called Red Eagle is back with Mitr Chaibancha playing the leading role. In this movie several influential people are mysteriously killed when they receive a red ceramic Buddha statue. They died of sudden fear. Somebody is also using Red Eagle identity to commit murders so the hero changes his mask to gold and becomes Golden Eagle. The mysterious organisation wishes to take over Thai government. Golden Eagle is investigating against this mysterious organisation in parallel of the Thai police. Trained in psychic powers by Rasputin, the head of the mysterious organisation kills by beaming his thoughts and visage through red ceramic Buddha statues. He can split himself into three images and can hypnotize remotely. He even put his heart out of his body into a vessel for protection. It is the first movie directed by Mitr Chaibancha. It is also the last movie in which Mitr Chaibancha played. Mitr died after falling from a rope ladder that was dangling from a helicopter. He was only 36 years old. Many Thai theaters paid respect to Mitr Chaibancha before showing "Golden Eagle" movie by placing a Pepsi bottle in front of a picture of the Thai actor. It was said that Mitr Chaibancha liked Pepsi. 40 copies were done for "Golden Eagle" movie as it was the last movie of Mitr Chaibancha. Normally only a few copies were done per movie.

Thai movie กายทิพย์ was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 2h30mn but only 1h00 is left to be seen. Jaomanat (Sarinthip Siriwan) is Atibadi’s domestic helper. Jaomanat has two sons Phayoton (Sombat Methanee) and Pontet (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), playing a gay character (กะเทย). Atibadi (Chana Sriubon) has two daughters Romadee (Aranya Namwong) and Deuan Rung (Sopha Sataporn). Atibadi’s wife (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit), called Nimnuan, is dead already but her soul (วิญญาณ) has possessed Jaomanat. Three house spirits (ศาลพระภูมิเจ้าที่) are also involved. Two of them are played by Sukon Koewliam and Sithao Petcharoen. Krai Kanchit, a hairdresser, gets warned by Phayoton not to disturb Jaomanat anymore. Fighting in slum(สลัม) happens between Phayoton and Krai. Krai is defeated. Sawin Sawangrat comes later with more men to beat Phayoton but the three house spirits help him. สุมาลี ทองหล่อ, mother of Khomapat Attaya, wishes to grab Atibadi. Finally Atibadi takes Sumalee as his new wife. During the wedding party, Khomapat comes with Ruj Ronnapop but Khomapat has more interest in Phayoton. Sompong Phonmitr is playing a หมอทำเสน่ห์. Sumalee and Sawin visit the magician at the same time but they get teased again by the spirits. Krai comes at that time and meets Sumalee. They become lovers. Sumalee and Atibadi spend their honeymoon in Pattaya. Deuan Rung likes Phayoton but this one manages to have his brother Pontet taking care of her so that he can be with Romadee. Meanwhile Krai has seduced also Khomapat so causing Sumalee's ire. She sends Pan Borapet and Sawin to teach (สังสอน) Krai but they kill him. Upset, she also kills Pan Borapet and Sawin. Sumalee is feeling sad (น้อยใจ). Op Boonthit identifies that Nimnuan’s sould (วิญญาณ) is inside Jaomanat. A proper ceremony needs to be done. Sumalee wishes to interrupt it. Monks need to be brought. While the soul is about to exit, Sumalee prevents the holy water to be poured. She is struck by a lighting and dies. Ruj is ravaged. Finally Jaomanat can fully recover.

Thai movie คู่สร้าง was released in year 1970. It features Mitr Chaibancha as main actor and Pissamai Wilaisak as main actress. Other actors are Sukon Koewliam, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Lor Tok as medium (หมอไสยศาสตร์), Adinan Singhiran, Somkuan Krajangsat, Metta Roongrat, Chosri Misommon, Adul Dulyarat. The movie is lost in Thailand but a trailer of four minutes remains to be seen. Various short sequences show Pissamai being kidnapped by Mitr, some hill tribes, some shootings, Mitr angry with Prachuap and fighting with him. Director is Neramit. A summary of the movie is still available in old Thai stars magazines. Pissamai is playing Napalai, brave young lady. Fifteen years ago, Napalai was a princess from a small kingdom in North of Thailand. Her father, i.e. the King, was killed by ruffians. Those ruffians were never arrested. One day, an injured man (Prince Phumintara) gets cured by Napalai and he gives her a gem as reward. This gem belonged previously to Napalai’s father so it could help to find those ruffians and get revenge. Mitr is playing Prince Phumintara. Phumintara is the son of the man, who ordered to kill Napalai’s father. How will Napalai take revenge? Her mother suggests her to inject poison to her enemies. Will she be able to kill the father of the man she now loves?

Thai movie วิญญาณดอกประดู่ was released in year 1970. It features Mitr Chaibancha as main actor and Petchara Chaowarat as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of four minutes remains to be seen. The sequence shows the opening sequence of the movie with the title and credits. The sequence also shows Tawan Siriwat holding a machine gun. It then also features some fightings between soldiers. Except Tawan Siriwat, no other actors or actresses can be seen in the left sequences. Some still pictures show Mitr Chaibancha wearing a soldier uniform. It is certainly a nationalist movie.

รักเธอเสมอ is a Thai movie released 1970. The movie is lost in Thailand except the last reel of the film, which lasts 35 minutes. The last reel is in 16mm format so it is mute as 16mm movies require to have live dubbing. When songs happen, the format is then changed to 35mm as this format allows image and sound together. It looks like a Western type movie and featuring 9 songs. Song รักเธอเสมอ remains famous and was sung many time by various singers. The movie features เพลงลูกกรุง. Sombat (Sombat Methanee) is visiting a police station to inform them about his friends kidnapping. Adul Dulyarat is police leader. Taksin (Taksin Jampol) and Wassana (Wassana Chalakorn) have kidnapped Petchara (Petchara Chaowarat) and Prachuap (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Police is surrounding the ruffians. Police cannot attack as they have hostages. Shootings start and Sombat helps to release them. Taksin and Wassana try to flee. Adul is injured. Wassana is shot by Taksin as she tries to flee on her own. Petchara gives comfort to Adul as he is injured but her heart is split between Sombat and Adul. Taksin comes back for revenge. Following an ultimate fight with Sombat, he falls and dies in a hot spring water. Charin Nantanakorn produced and directed the movie. During a final engagement, Petchara shall choose between Adul or Sombat.

Thai movie จอมบึง was released in year 1970. Main actors are Sombat Methanee and Aranya Namwong. The movie was never released on VHS / VCD / DVD formats in Thailand. The movie is still available in Thai Film Archives. Only reels 1-2-4 are available. Reel 3 is missing. It is lasting 1h22mn. Two partial reels (2-3) were also found in year 2013 thanks to a teacher and collector of old items in Songkhla area. The remaining sequence is lasting 28 minutes. It is in 35mm format as actors’ voice can still be heard despite image and sound being in poor quality. The image is damaged due to water soaking (โดนน้ำ). The director is Sor Asanajinda. The movie features 16 songs according to the film poster. 6 songs have disappeared. Only 10 songs are left. Missing reel 3 in Thai Film Archives is about Sombat going to marry Prim. The ruffians lie to Sombat’s father to invite him to the wedding party. They kidnap him to have a guarantee. The main actress Aranya Namwong is also captured by them. In reel 4, Sombat comes to help and rescue his father and Aranya. In a short online sequence, Aranya hits Sombat with her car. Finally, she accepts to take him in her car as he claims to be hurt. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is doing a massage to Metta Roongrat. Suddenly the car driven by Sombat arrives swiftly in their house property. Ruj Ronnapop seems to enjoy alcohol. Seeing Sombat and Aranya together causes a big ire to Metta. She tries to get back Sombat but to no avail.

Ang Madison is neighbor of the Sand Castle (วัง). One of the uncles, Sulasit, also finds Dao, who is having the same face as Rung Na Pha. He brings her back to the family house but villagers and other family members start to notice that she (คุณหนู) has changed a lot. Back to his home, Ang Madison meets Dao but she tells him there is misunderstanding as she is Rung Na Pha and not Dao. Sulasit’s daughter likes Ang Madison a lot and wishes to marry him as he is coming from a rich family. Sulasit is friend with Det, a local ruffian head (เจ้าพ่อ). Both uncles don't want half of the house but the whole house including Ang Madison’s land. Both uncles’ daughters fight to get interest from Ang Madison. They are jealous about Dao as Ang Madison has more interest in her. Ang Madison wishes to share his land with poor villagers to help them. Ang Madison refuses to sell his land to Sulasit, so Sulasit asks Det to kill Ang Madison. Dao and her friends find the real Rung Na Pha in her hidden cell. There are nice old Fx twin effects as Dao and Rung Na Pha both played by Petchara Chaowarat appear on the screen. Dao and her friends cannot release Rung Na Pha on time. Sulasit hits Rung Na Pha harshly causing her death. Sulasit forces Dao to be present as the official opening of the testament. Det is ready to act following Sulasit’s order but wishes to play his own plan to get all money and diamonds. Sulasit’s son helps and Dao tells the truth about her real identity during the testament opening. Det’s irruption brings a mess. Fights happen. Family members fight for pink Diamond. Tragedy happens. The two daughters drown. Sulasit fights with Ang Madison. Finally the father’s crazy daughter, mother of Rung Na Pha, puts the fire inside the palace and it explodes. Dao and Ang Madison are safe. In year 1969, this movie became famous. Phanmitr (พันธมิตร) company got the last film copy and shared it with all Thai movies fans.

Ruffians capture a man fleeing with a suitcase. Two important letters inside have disappeared from the suitcase when he hit a group of three people while running away. Those people are a father (Surasit Sattayawong), his daughter Fimeuang (Pawana Chanajit) and their friend (Joomjim Khemlek). Those letters are related to their plan to bring troubles from overseas into South of Thailand (คนขายชาติ). Sak (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and inspector (สารวัตร) Cheut (Sombat Methanee) meet the 3 characters in Nakhon Sawan and sympathize. Ruffians try everything to get back those letters but Sak and Cheut support them. Cheut communicates with his Police Headquarters through young lady Nop (Yaowaret Nisakorn also called Petchara 2). Ramet (Kecha Plianvithee), undercover ruffians leader, tries to seduce Dao (Aranya Namwong) but she doesn't like him. Ramet is a good friend of Krit (Ruj Ronnapop), Dao's brother, as he can always borrow money to him for gambling (พนัน). Cheut also appreciates Dao. Fimeuang and her father take refuge in Chiang Mai. Finally Fimeuang understands that Cheut is a right and trusty man, so she gives him the envelopes. Fimeuang loves secretly Cheut and goes back to Surin. Cheut’s heart is divided between Dao, Fimeuang and Nop. Cheut is captured by the ruffians. Finally Sak helps him on time. Ramet is captured but finally later on free again so it looks like a part of the movie is missing. Willing to get back the letters, the ruffians capture Fimeuang and her friend Kamoon. The father shall give back the letters back to Ramet to save his daughter’s life. Policeman Cheut, Sak and Nop help to penetrate the ruffians’ camp. Dao and Chris also realize who is Ramet while visiting the camp and find that Fimeuang is held captured there. During final shootings, Fimeuang is unfortunately shot. Ruffians are defeated. Movie พยัคฆ์เหนือ เสืออิสาน ยมบาลใต้ is a mix of action and comedy. This small movie really features a great bunch of Thai actors and Thai actresses from decade 1960s.

This Thai spy movie starts very similary to “Impossible Mission” TV serie with tapes giving instructions. Jiep (Adul Dulyarat), expert in explosives, finds Saen (Surasit Sattayawong) in Ayuthaya. They need to find Nin (Mitr Chaibancha) in Bangkok, handsome guy and always butterflying with ladies. They have to do a secret mission related to Thailand and to complete within one month. Target is to neutralise a dangerous secret organisation (เวียดนามเหนือ). They need to find a fourth teammate (number 46) in Udon Thani. Guerrilla group soldiers (ทหารป้า) are terrorising villagers by burning their houses and even killing them. Kaneung Ha (Sopha Sataporn) is the group leader. Saree (Metta Roongrat) has been forcefully enrolled. When her parents are killed, she finally deserts. The three men finds Saree burying her parents. She accepts to join them in order to show where the guerilla is hiding. They spend one night in a villager house. This one informs the guerilla of the group presence. They flee on time but Saen doesn't trust Saree anymore and tries to kill her (ทรยศ). Kaneung Ha recruits strong men in villages by luring them with beautiful ladies (Kaenjai Meenakanit). Nin and his two friends succeed to be recruited. Kaneung Ha believes the three men are spies from government (ศัตรู) so they get tortured. Finally Kaneung Ha has pity on them. Meanwhile police is sending officers disguised in clowns (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Saree offers her help too (ร่วมมือ). The three men receive orders to kill the three policemen and Saree in order to prove their obedience to the organisation. Two guards shall oversee the mission. The three men capture the three policemen following a tacit agreement. Following their first mission success, the big boss sends them to Udon to make airport details recording. Yot is jealous of Nin as he knows Kaneung Ha starts to love him. The big boss is trusting now the three men and shows them the missiles stored in the base. Nin declares his love to Kaneung Ha. Saree helps the three policemen to flee. Nin defeats Yot in one to one fight. Police is back with many men. Meanwhile Jiep tries to neutralize the missiles. Nin brings Kaneung Ha with him before the explosion. Police faces strong opposition before reaching the base. Kaneung Ha is the real number 46 they were looking for. She helps Nin to fight the traitors. Finally the missiles are destroyed and the ruffians are all captured. The movie has still colorful and good quality image. It is a 2h27mn movie and the VCD is almost full. In those 1960s movies, no direct kisses are shown. Mitr kisses Sopha but still prudery happens. Like many 1960s action movies, ทรชนเดนตาย film (1969) has a nationalist trend.

During World War 2, a man betrays his country (ขายชาติ) and even kills his wife Narinee as she refuses to keep silent. The father then disappears. His own daughter flees and is rescued by a young man called Boripat, who put her in a well off family. She is renamed Lamphap. A few years have passed. Lamphap (Suthisa Putnuch) is a beautiful grown up lady. Boripat plans to become deputy (ผู้แทน) in Phatalung province. Boripat and Lamphap love each other. Cheutchalao (Kaenjai Meenakanit), a jealous lady who wishes to marry Boripat, shows to Boripat’s mother a picture of Lamphap’s mother. Is it good that Boripat as a future deputy marry a country traitor? Following a night with Boripat, Lamphap flees away as she is ashamed of her background. Boripat looks for her. When he is aware of her parents’ background, he breaks up with her and finally marries Cheutchalao. Lamphap is followed by her father's bad reputation. Boripat has become a member of parliament. Cheutchalao introduces Khun Yousapong (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), who is a salesman, to Boripat. Boripat needs to pay back the funding he receives from him through some sales advantages with government projects. Boripat rejects and resigns as he refuses to betray his own principles. Cheutchalao is very upset as Yousapong is in fact her hidden lover. She even refuses to keep the child she is currently having with Boripat! Cheutchalao has an argument with Boripat’s mother causing her to fall from the stairs and dies. Boripat then indulged in alcohol and, being sick, decides to die in the place he met Lamphap the first time. He dies in her arms. Kenang is the child born of their brief union. Many years have passed. A young lady called Pen (Pawana Chanajit) stops by the village due to a flat tyre and is helped by Kenang (คนป้า). Pen is daughter of the salesman Yousapong. Salesman is still with stepmother (แม่เลี้ยง) Cheutchalao. Yousapong has always been concerned about money only (ไม่รู้ค่าความรัก). Pen dances on a show and displays her great dancing performing skills (รำไทย) to pay back his father as studies compensation. She gets a reward and wishes to offer it to Lamphap but Cheutchalao prevents her to do it as Lamphap is daughter of a country traitor (เป็นกรรม). Chatkalin, Lamphap’s second son (Choomporn Theppitak) doesn't want anybody to mention he is Lamhap's son anymore as he wished to marry Pen. He is in fact Boripat and Cheutchalao's son. Cheutchalao left the child in an orphanage and Lamphap, having pity, raised him. Well off people (ผู้ดี), having status, are seeing down poor people. As a revenge Kenang kidnaps Pen and brings her to a remote place near seaside. Chatkalin burns Lamphap's house as retaliation. Kenang, having finally freed Pen, arrives on time to save his mother. Following a fight with Chatkalin, a passer-by is shot. They all accuse Kenang. Lamphap chases everybody. A policeman offers her an opportunity to clean her name but she has to give information regarding the secret place where her traitor father and his team are hiding. After reaching the place in the mountain, Lamphap’s father wished to test her if she is not a spy. She shall kill her own son, Kenang, as he has been accused by Cheutchalao, Chatkalin and Yousapong of having killed the father’s own son, i.e. the passer-by. Only Pen defends Kenang. Lamphap has to do a sacrifice (เสียสละ), i.e. Kenang’s life against the four other lives (Cheutchalao, Chatkalin, Yousapong, Pen). Finally one of the ruffians revolts for the sake of his country preventing Lamphap to make an impossible choice. Bad characters are punished. Some episodes were cut in this Lepso VCD release, i.e. one episode where Sombat Methanee is singing and another climax episode when the ruffian forces the mother (Suthisa Putnuch) to shoot her own son (Sombat Methanee) but finally changes his mind. Sombat Methanee plays both the father Boripat and the son Kenang. This 1960s movie shows that faithfulness to country is more important that faithfulness to own family. It is typical of many 1960-1970s movies, which featured nationalist elements against the red communist threat. พญาโศก is a less known good movie from famous director Cherd Songsri. It also includes many references to the Thai royalty.

Thai movie ลอยกระทง was released in year 1969. It is a 16mm film so in mute state and no complete summary of the movie is left. The movie is incomplete as only 2h08mn is left. Mitr Chaibancha, Adul Dulyarat, Boo Wibunnan are watching ladies Petchara Chaowarat, Wassana Chalakorn, Metta Roongrat launching krathongs in the river during Loy Krathong festival. A speed boat makes Petchara fall in the water. Mitr rescues her. The speed boat is driven by Petchara's brother. As he dislikes his sister meeting the three young men, fighting happens. The father Tat Ekathat interposes himself but he doesn't like Mitr either. The father forbids them to meet. The movie is named Loy Krathong but the movie is about Loy Krathong festival only at the beginning of the movie when both Mitr and Petchara initially met. The movie is then more an action movie. Mitr and Petchara try to help a young kid tentatively treated by a tribe shaman (Lor Tok). Other villagers interpose as they are not used to western medicine. At nighttime one of the villagers (Pipop Pupinyo) brings the kid for injection. Finally Mitr sympathizes with the shaman and ends up taking care of several children! Metta is aggressed by three ruffians and gets help from Mitr and also a group of children (including famous child actress Tukata Jindanuch). Those children are mischievous. Disappointed not to get Mitr's love, Metta ends up to be drunk. Metta does use a trick on Petchara in order for Mitr to be disappointed by her. Metta prevents her to see Mitr. Mitr and Lor Tok have arguments with policemen and end up in jail. Prachuap Ruekyamdee releases them by using violence and threatening policemen. Mitr injures by the accident a policeman. Arguments are happening between tribe kids and Thai local kids. Petchara is their teacher. Adul Dulyarat, a policeman officer, tries to seduce Petchara. The father Tat Ekathat threatens his daughter of closing the school. Tat Ekathat is aggressed by thieves on a mountain road. Luckily Mitr, Prachuap, Lor Tok are around and chase away the thieves. The three friends realise that Boo Wibunnan is trafficking drug. Behind this traffic, there is involvement of Tat Ekathat and ruffians leader. Fist fighting erupts involving Adinan also. Tat Ekathat stops everybody. It is discovered that the candles on the krathong contain explosives. It looks like Boo Wibunnan and Lor Tok die in an explosion. Mitr and Prachuap are arrested by Adul and Sukon Koewliam, a policeman. They get transfered under military authority, who releases them. Metta is captured with ruffians. Two policemen gets captured also. Meanwhile Mitr follows up Adinan but gets injured by Ekathat's fellow worker. Mitr hides in the school and is treated by Petchara. Adul discovers Mitr in Petchara's room. Things get worse as Petchara is kidnapped and Mitr and Adul are locked in a room with Prachuap. They succeed to flee. Meanwhile Petchara is crucified by hill tribe villagers. Mitr fails to help her and is also crucified. Meanwhile Prachuap follows the ruffians leader and tries to prevent Adinan to rape Wassana Chalakorn. Adul with a bunch of policemen try to release Mitr and Petchara. Finally Prachuap and Wassana Chalakorn flee and release all the hill tribes children. Hill tribes villagers change side seeing their children now released. Ruffians blaze the village. A four minutes trailer is still available and showing some final scenes not present in the 2h08mn left to be seen. A final fight happens between Mitr and the ruffians leader.

ต้อยติ่ง is a Thai movie released in year 1969. The movie is directed by veteran Sor Asanajinda, who is also playing in his own movie! The movie is lost and only a 4 minutes trailer (หนังตัวอย่าง) remains to be seen. Three songs are featured including one song by Pissamai Wilaisak. It is a drama movie (หนังชีวิต) but it is still including action, romance and humor as usual in 1960s Thai movies. Main actors are Sombat Methanee and Pissamai Wilaisak. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is playing a corruptor. It is the story of young orphan girl called Toi Ting (ต้อยติ่ง). Toi Ting’s mother is played by Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit. Toi Ting is coming from slum and it looks like she will have a love story with rich bachelor Sombat Methanee. Other actors also include Sithao Petcharoen and Malee Wetpraseri as the grandmother.

Thai movie น้องรัก was released in year 1969 and lasts 1h13mn. It is available under VCD format by famous company XxX owned by Toh Pantamit. The original movie is certainly longer as movies in decade 1960s could last up to 2h30mn. It is probably the last 3 reels of the film. Movie director is Wichit Khunawut. One 35mm reel is also still available. Sri (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) brings her niece Kate (Boosara Narumit) in a massage parlour for work but arguments occur as other masseuses complain she is too beautiful so she will take away their customers such as Lor Tok. Sithao Petcharoen is the parlour manager. Fight occurs between Chosri Misommon and Sri. Young lady Dao (Suthisa Putnuch) meets doctor Wut (Mitr Chaibancha) in Neramit's house. Khomapat Attaya is the niece. Shot (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), car driver, knows Kate and loves her. Shot punches his own boss after seeing him with Kate in the massage parlour. She works to be able to raise her younger sister Dao. Marasri Bangchang is playing the owner of rental house. Lying to Shot, Kate has to prostitute herself (ทำงานพิเศษ) in order to find money to pay the rent. Meanwhile Dao tries everything to meet Preuhat Boonlong, her lost grandfather. Neremit proposes to pay Dao's birthday party as he knows she is not rich. It causes the mother and niece's ire. They ruin the party. To help her, Wut pays for the expense and proposes to transform her into an ugly nurse so she can be close to her grandfather. Meanwhile Kate is abused by another man at night time believing it was her lover. She feels so ashamed (ความชั่ว). Thanks to a ring, the grandfather identifies Dao as his granddaughter. Meanwhile Kate is arrested by Police and sent to prison for rehabilitation. Everybody is looking for Kate but she forbids her aunt to tell the truth to anybody. Kate gets seriously sick in the prison. Doctor Wut is the one to treat her. He identifies an incurable cancer (มะเร็งมดลูก). Kate was behaving same as a mother for Dao. Before dying, Kate asks to give her blessings (อวยพร) to the future wedding of Dao and Wut.

แท็กซี่ is a 1968 Thai movie with Mitr Chaibancha, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Petchara Chaowarat. Only 4 minutes of the movie are left. It is a 16mm movie without sound. Despite the short passage available, it is enough to see Mitr Chaibancha helping Prachuap Ruekyamdee during a fight. Even comic Lor Tok is present. Grandma veteran actress มาลี เวชประเสริฐ and her two daughters, including Petchara Chaowarat, are living in a rich house. They are kidnapped. Guess Mitr Chaibancha will help to release them! Prachuap Ruekyamdee seems to work in a cafe restaurant where songs are performed. Fight erupts again in the cafe. There is no summary available of this movie. At the end of the movie, many taxis gather to protect main actor Mitr Chaibancha. It is the first movie for veteran actress ศศิธร เพชรรุ่ง (Sasithorn Phetrung). Sasithorn Phetrung later had a love story with Mitr Chaibancha.

A young lady called Wannee (Petchara Chaowarat) gets suicide in Passakorn's home and this latter (Mitr Chaibancha) gets accused of murder (ผู้ตาย). Adirek (Adul Dulyarat), lawyer, explains the whole story to the police inspector (Choomporn Theppitak). Oi (Metta Roongrat) and her sister Wannee were students. Wannee failed her exams despite being a good student as she didn't want to bring extra financial burden to her parents as they have already the younger sister's studies to support. Wannee found a job in a Bangkok dancing club directed by sexy directress Ratree (Chadaporn Wachirapranee). Pon (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and Passakorn often party. Wannee met Passakorn in the dancing club. He liked her immediately (ผู้หวังดี). Passakorn is the son of a rich company owner but he is not really hard worker, spending a lot of money and going in clubs. Passakorn asked a few days to Wannee before talking to parents about their relationship. Wannee still had doubts on Passakorn's real feelings. Wannee got pregnant but Passakorn still didn't inform his parents about their relationship (ไม่ชื่อแล้ว, คนโกหก). When talking to his father, this latter shown him a photo of Adirek and Wannee together. He believed Wannee had betrayed him (ทรยศ). He went for London leaving Wannee puzzled and believing Passakorn refused to take his responsibility (ใจชั่ว). Passakorn stopped his friendship with Adirek also. Knowing that Wannee was pregnant and her difficult situation, Adirek proposed his help. Wannee and her mother went on countryside to deliver the baby quietly. Meanwhile Oi continued her studies and got closer to Adirek. As his father died in an accident, Passakorn had to flight back from London. Passakorn still couldn't forget Wannee and was drinking heavily every day. Oi got highest grade in her school and got a tuition for Japan offered to the school by Passakorn! Passakorn started a close friendship with Oi causing serious despair to Adirek and Wannee. Wannee's child was a born dead baby. Passakorn was still upset with Wannee believing she betrayed him (นางกากี. คนทรยศ). Passakorn had to marry with Urai following heritage arrangements. Wannee's father was upset with her (ลูกช่ัว) and only Oi was seen as a good girl. Wannee went to meet Passakorn to ask him stopping meeting her young sister and to move away. He refused. Being denigrated by her father and sister, Wannee organized Oi's kidnapping and got suicide in Passakorn's home so that he could get accused. Pon finally claims that he is the one who took the picture with Adirek and Wannee but he didn't think it will degenerate like this. Passakorn and Adirek resume friendship. Adirek and Pon look for a letter proving that Wannee died through suicide and not murdered by Passakorn. Uncle Wong (Adinan Singhiran) refuses to give it as he believes Passakorn is responsible of Wannee's death. During the trial, Passakorn, knowing he was unfair to Wannee, agrees he killed her. His friends succeed to get the letter and can show Passakorn innocence. Released and back home, Passakorn gets reunited with Wannee by using the same knife inhibited with poison to quit this world. This 1968 movie is 2h24mn long and still features a very colorful image. it is one of the best role of Mitr Chaibancha playing a bad guy. The real movie is longer as a trailer of 3mn48 is also available. It includes sequences in the jail that are not present in the VCD.

Thai movie แสนพยศ was released in year 1968 and features key actors Mitr Chaibancha and Aranya Namwong. Other actors / actresses include Daonoi Duangjai, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Naowarat Watchara, Preeya Roongrueng, Lor Tok, Sukon Koewliam, Sompong Phonmitr and หม่อมชั้น (famous Thai actress from royal lineage and often playing low roles such as domestic helpers…). It was shot at same time as movie Iten – อีแตน (35mm format and year 1968). The movie was lost in Thailand but finally a partial reel was found in year 2013 thanks to a teacher and collector of old items in Songkhla area. A 5mn30s sequence is still available. It is in fact the first movie (16mm format) played by Aranya Namwong after she became Miss Thailand. A group of ladies including Naowarat Watchara are talking together and seem to prepare a plan. Not sure if it is targeted against Aranya? In another sequence Aranya is locked. A mamasan wants to force Aranya to go with a rich customer but she gets slapped. Even ruffians fail to coerce her. Last sequence is showing Mitr and Aranya talking together under a tree. Aranya Namwong played in movie ลมหนาว but only in a short sequence where she sang a song. Later on, she played again with Mitr in อีแตน which is often mistaken as Aranya’s first movie. In Fact Iten (อีแตน) is her movie in 35mm format and แสนพยศ is her first movie in 16mm format! The two movies were probably shot at the same time. The movie poster announces that Mitr meets miss Thailand! A TV serie (ละคร) was done in year 2000.

Thai movie ยอดแก่น was released in year 1968. Thai movie ยอดแก่น, directed by Neramit, lasts 1h57mn and still has colorful picture. Parts of the movie are missing. While being threatened by robbers, Khun Chak (Mitr Chaibancha) meets Raem (Petchara Chaowarat), a naughty young lady (เด็กเวร). Oon (Prim Praphaporn) is already engaged with Chak. Bancha is a bad man and Oon's aunt warns her as he is used to put drugs in drinks to abuse girls. Raem often comes to talk to Chak. Raem even gives his purse back to Chak mentioning that robbers lost it while fleeing. Raem has no mother and her father never took care of her. Chak believes Raem is a young man or a “kathoey” (กะเทย) as Raem has short hairs. In fact, Raem's father called Seua is the head of the robbers but he is not her real blood father. Finally Chak pays the father to adopt Raem (น้องบุญธรรม). Raem comes to Bangkok and helps first in domestic tasks. Arguments occur with Oon (อีเด็กบ้า). Chak asks her to stay calm (ต้องอดทน) as Oon has bad character and Raem can be bad mouth. Nit (Metta Roongrat) is engaged with Tanin (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), who is a policeman. Chak asks Tanin's help to clarify if Raem is a boy or a girl. They decide to use Nit for this task. Boramet (เด็กเกเร) is Nit's younger brother. He always spending a lot of money in gambling. He is also Oon's lover and their plan is to steal money as much as they can from Chak. Nit identifies that Raem (เด็กกะโปโล) is a girl. Oon, aware, accuses Raem to try to steal her fiance. She announces to break the engagement. Raem decides to flee the house to avoid causing trouble to Chak. Meanwhile Boramet has arguments while playing cards in an underground place and kills a man. The owner asks for 30 000 baht to keep silent. Oon, hoping to marry Boramet, is pushed away by him as he needs to find the 30 000 baht as soon as possible. Chak keeps looking for Raem. Unable to find Raem, Chak asks Raem's father, Seua. They decide to search together in Bangkok. Boramet steals his own father’s money. Seua happens to be there at the same time. Fighting happens and Seua shoots Boramet. Buddhist Karma cannot be escaped as Boramet is in fact Seua’s real son. Raem's real father is Khun Tiwa. Many years ago, Seua exchanges Boramet and Raem to revenge over Khun Tiwa. Bad deed causes bad act. Raem is reunited with her father Khun Tiwa and her sister Nit. Chak marries Raem.

Thai movie สาวบ้านแต้ was released in year 1968 and lasts 2h23mn. It is available under VCD format by famous company XxX owned by Toh Pantamit. It is a romantic sad movie (หนังรักโศก). The image picture is still very colorful. Nawin (Sombat Methanee) and Khon (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) visit a village administrated by village leader Sukon Koewliam. Pong (Daonoi Duangjai) is their friend. Nawin, learning how to ride a bicycle, makes young lady Khangpu (Suthisa Putnuch) falling. ChangDee (Metta Roongrat) is her elder sister. Khangpu's mother was seduced by a Bangkok man many years ago and thrown away when she was pregnant. Due to shame, she got suicide. Khangpu doesn't know who her father is. So grandmother Malee Wetpraseri tries to prevent Nawin and Prachuap to meet the young ladies ChangDee and Khangpu. Better beware of Bangkok people (คนกรุงเทพ). They continue to follow the ladies up to an outdoor cascade or local market. Ruffian Ma tries to seduce and abuse Khangpu. Hopefully Nawin and his friends beat them away. Khangpu still cannot trust them per her grandmother's advice. Ma and ruffians are back. Nawin is injured at the head so he gets pity from the young ladies. Both Khangpu and Changdee love Nawin as Pong sent Nawin's love letter to the wrong person, i.e. Changdee. Nawin and Khangpu finally become lovers. Nawin has to go back urgently back to Bangkok per his mother's request. She found a fiancee called Orapin (Yaowaret Nisakorn) for him! Her sister Chana is played by Preeya Roongrueng. Lieng Saen Meuang uses his daughter to learn more about Somtam, who is also an university student. He tries to excuse himself and invite Somtam in Chiang Mai to dig more about Somtam's parents. Chao Kham Fa doesn't want Somtam to be around godfather Lieng Saen Meuang. Somtam, Rat and Phairot, Somtam's close friend, accept to go. In Chiang Mai, godfather Lieng Saen Meuang tries to abuse Chom's daughter and finally strangles her. Chom was a loyal ruffian since years but this vile act forces him to change. Athon is held prisoner there since 24 years. A trap is organized by godfather Lieng Saen Meuang to verify the linkage between Athon and Somtam. Chom, fed up Lieng Saen Meuang, decides to betray (ทรยศ) and helps Athon to flee. Back to Bangkok, there is misunderstanding between Somtam and Pieng Dao as Somtam believes she is as bad as her father. Finally love starts between Somtam and Pieng Dao. It is a deception for Rat and Phairot. Godfather Lieng Saen Meuang recruits a killer, Chot, to execute Somtam as he is too close to his daughter. Chot cannot do the job as he is a former friend of Somtam. Somtam is injured by another ruffian. Pieng Dao tries to protect Somtam (ลูกทรยศ). Godfather Lieng Saen Meuang leaves to Chiang Mai. Athon and Chom decide to take their revenge. During a final fight Chom, Chot and Godfather Lieng Saen Meuang die. They all pay for their crimes (ชดใช้กรรม). Another typical movie of 1960s decade with the funny comedian group (ตัวกง) played by Lor Tok and Sukon Koewliam, the kind and nice leading actress (นางเอก) playing by Petchara Chaowarat and the leading actor (พระเอก) played by Mitr Chaibancha.

Main actor Panong is pushed by Malin for wedding but he is a butterfly and is interested by Sophee. Sophee refuses to recognize her mother is in the street as she is ashamed of her origins. Pa (Marasri Isarangkul) is Wan’s aunt. Wan meets Sida as his car splashes her but he pretends to be a car driver only in order to be friend with her as she has a kind heart and has education. Changing his name as Tiaw, he looks for a job in the slum. An undertaker job (สัปเหร่อ) is proposed to him. Sophee is offered the role of main actress. She wishes to quit the house. The mother is sick, they have no more money and Sida stops going to school. Sophee lends to Sida 100 baht but doesn't want to see her anymore. The landlord คุณนาย (Chosri Misommon) expels them. Sida and Nuan have to live under a bridge. Sida becomes blind following a car accident involving Ramet. Wan, aware of this, takes care of Sida. Net, Wan's official fiancee, is jealous and hires the domestic helper to cause Sida to fall from a cliff. Hopefully Wan helps Sida on time. On Sophee's birthday, Nuan and Sida visit her but she is not happy to see them and asking them to stop visiting her. Altercation happens and Sophee pushes Sida, whose head hits a pillar. She ends up at hospital again. Meanwhile Sophee and Panong promise love to each other. Malin, fed up by Sophee and Panong, throws acid to their faces. Luckily Sopha recovers her sight while Sophee is disfigured. She asks for mercy to Sida and Nuan. She decides to become a nun. This movie highlights that doing good always pays off while doing bad always ends up sadly.

Tut Tu / ตุ๊ดตู่ is a Thai movie released in year 1967 with Mitr Chaibancha and Sopha Sataporn. It is a lost movie in Thailand. Only a 2mn30s sequence is left. One reel lasts around 40 minutes. There is no sound available for this movie as 16mm movies are always dubbed. So understanding the whole movie is quite difficult. Petchara Chaowarat (ปู) is a young lady. Her close friends are Dokdin Kanyaman and Orasa Isarangkul. Sawin Sawangrat, Petchara’s father, is a fisherman. Petchara and Dokdin are caught in a military exercise including a beach landing. They meet Mitr Chaibancha, who is an officer. Petchara and Mitr appreciate each other. Mitr rescues a young lady who is about to be drowned. Later on Mitr and his friend Adul mingle (จู๋จี๋) with those two ladies (Chadaporn Wachirapranee and another veteran actress). Petchara, aware of this, is disappointed by Mitr. Petchara’s blind grandmother is played by veteran actress Malee Wetpraseri. It is Petchara’s birthday. Adul changes the content of a gift offered by Mitr. It is a trick to spoil love between Mitr and Petchara as it starts to emerge. He then offers a proper gift to Petchara. Sawin prevents both of them to fight and asks Petchara to go back home. It seems that Chadaporn is unhappy with Sawin and asks him to push Petchara away from Mitr. Following a fishing trip, Sawin falls in the sea during a storm. Petchara and Dokdin need to find a job and then work as coolie in a construction site. Police officer Adul looks for them as it is found that Petchara is a descendant of a rich family. Sawin isn't dead. it seems he will cause issue to Petchara but love with Mitr will of course succeed. In this 1967 period, Petchara Chaowarat had short haircut. As usual with Dokdin Kanyaman’s movies, there is humour, action, romance and good feelings (happy ending).

An earthquake (แผ่นดินไหว) disturbs a sacred (บูชา) ceremony. Daralai (เจ้าหญิง) receives help from Wipha to avoid crowd stampede. She stays with the commoners until the royal guards find her back. Wipha requests kisses to recover his sight view. There is love between Daralai and Wipha but she is promised to another man already. Katiya meets also another princess called Apasara (อาภัสรา). Daralai loves Wipha. She finally discovered that he is a King of a rival kingdom. She has to choose between love and fidelity to her own kingdom. She doesn't like Ayarawat's behavior. Ayarawat (อริยวรรต) is captured by Paransee kingdom's guards but is freed by his brother. Ayarawat kidnaps Daralai but his brother is captured. Ayarawat is hot temper. He is ready to a war with Paransee kingdom if his brother is not freed. To avoid a war between the two kingdoms, Daralai declares she doesn't love Ayarawat anymore in order that Ayarawat agrees to exchange her with Katiya. Finally Katiya gets freed by princess Apasara but doesn't come back on time to prevent the exchange. Disappointed by Daralai, Ayarawat decides to marry to Princess Apasara. Daralai is back but learning that Ayarawat has a new queen, she leaves. Understanding his mistake, Ayarawat decides to invade Paransee kingdom to get back Daralai. Ayarawat is injured and died when looking for Daralai. They are both reunited in heaven. Katiya becomes the new king.

The remaining sequences allow to see Mitr and Somjit Sapsamruey playing his mother. The house owner wishes to chase them. Lor Tok gives money to calm her down. He also brings food to Mitr and Somjit. Mitr and Lor Tok are doing multiple jobs such as cleaning clothes, working in hairdresser shop... A customer arrives. It is first time for Mitr to cut hair so it is disaster. Mitr finally works as assistant in a photographer shop. He is fired again but the shop owner has pity and helps him. The remaining sequences show Mitr wearing prince clothes, Petchara crying, Mitr being reunited with his mother Somjit.

Seven convicts (ผู้ต้องหา) are inside a van. Their van has a crash so they can successfully escape. They have all different characters, i. e. Dam Prasakorn (ดามพ์ ดัสกร) a car robber, Tong Bai (ทองใบ) a former traditional folk singer (พระเอกลิเก), Han Meuang Tong (หาญ เมืองทอง), Ai Meut (มืด ธรณี), Khom (คม) a tireless card player, Boonmee (บุญมี) a gunman (มือปืน), Phayak (พยัคฆ์). Police is chasing them so some of them are stealing motorbike, car or horse to flee away. Han Meuang Tong, son of a village headman (กำนันเหิน), is having issues with local mafia leader Saen (พ่อเลี้ยงแสน). Saen accuses Han Meuang to have killed his younger brother ten years ago. He wishes to take revenge and sends ruffians to kill him in his hotel. Paeng - 1960 cliche of small virtue lady featured with a cigarette - is supposed to seduce Han Meuang while Pol shall shoot him. It fails and Pol is captured by police thanks to Han Meuang and Thong Bai. Han Meuang's father is unhappy with his son (เสือร้าย) and wishes to kill him as he is now a convict (โจร). Soi (สร้อย), daughter of Saen, helps to hide Khom in her room and asks her father to recruit him. Sia (เสี่ยมังกร), another local mafia leader involved in illegal sawmills, wishes Han Meuang to join him but Saen's ruffians injure Han Meuang following a trap. Saen’s ruffians terrorize the villagers to find where Han Meuang is hiding. His sister is even kidnapped. Han Meuang needs to fight back (สู้). A mysterious masked leader (นายอนันต์) reunited the seven fugitives (7 พระกาฬ) together and also all Saen / Sia ruffians. He needs them for a secret mission. They need to get a cargo of weapons to be sold illegally. But police is aware and tries to catch them. There is a police spy within the seven guys (มีหนอนบนไส้). A police inspector is captured to find who the spy is. It is Dam Prasakorn (กรมสืบราชการ). The police inspector (สารวัตร) finally succeeds to flee and it is discovered that three of the former fugitives are working for the police. Han Meuang, wishing to help Thailand, helps to release them. Traitors to Thailand (ทรยศขายชาติ) shall be stopped. Many fights and shootings are happening between the four men and the traitors. Police intervenes also. Ruffians are all killed and their leader's helicopter is shot down by Han Meuang. Finally Han Meuang is an undercover soldier (กองทัพ) so he reconciles with his father. There is moralist ending as Tong Bai also surrenders to police and gives back the money left in a suitcase by the ruffians. This movie includes a mix of action and comedy. it features a beautifully restored colorful picture and lasts 2h21mn. It reminds of 1954 “Seven Samurai” Japanese movie or 1960 “The Magnificent Seven” American movie. Another Thai movie named “7 พระกาฬ” was released in 1983.

Malee plays the Cheut’s mother (คุณหญิงแม่). This movie was shot in two weeks only. Surayut-Chaiyayut Vetchayan received a salary of 8000 baht to play in this movie.

Maew (Petchara Chaowarat) is orphan (เด็กกำพร้า). Beum (Daonoi Duangjai) is her close friend. Doctor Yot Kwan (Adul Dulyarat) wishes to become the father of Maew (อุปกรณ์เลีืยงลูก). The doctor's mother (Malee Wetpraseri) also agrees. The doctor suspects that Maew is his own daughter with another woman called Amon. Mom Chan Phuangwan and Sukon Koewliam are domestic helpers in the doctor's house. They are playing relief comic characters. Preeya Roongrueng (แม่ใหม่) is now married to the doctor. She has a son called Pongsak (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and a daughter called Pla (Metta Roongrat). Kachen (Mitr Chaibancha), taxi driver being aggressed, is helped by Maew and Beum. Maew and Beum are not welcomed by Pla and her mother. The woman called Amon (Kingdao Daranee) is forced by ruffians. In front of the doctor, Preeya and Pla are polite but behind his back, they try everything to chase Maew and Beum from the house. Doctor Yot Kwan sees Amon in a taxi driven by Kachen. The doctor tries to prevent Amon to be beaten by her pimp called Mek. He gets some help from Kachen, who is then slightly injured. Thanks to his kindness, Kachen is authorized to come to the doctor's house whenever he wishes (ยินดีรันใช้). Pla and her mother continue to be hypocrites (หมั่นไส้ / ตอแหล) in front of the doctor and the grandmother. Saranee (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) uses Sarayut (Ruj Ronnapop) to seduce Pla. Somkuan Krajangsat is a policeman. The mother and daughter try to tease (แกล้ง) Maew by hiding jewelry under her bed. Phi Mek is close friend with Chadaporn. Their plan is to take pictures of Pla and Ruj in compromising situation and ask for money. Amon warns Maew. Amon warns also Pla but it is almost too late for Pla. Luckily Kachen arrives on time as Amon called the police. Kachen is a relative of Somkuan. Finally Amon dies in the arm of Maew as she refused to get any help believing she is bad person (ชั่ว). Preeya and Pla apologise for their behavior. The movie แมวเหมียว lasts 2h07mn.

Thiyu, a gruff cowboy, falls from his horse as it is frightened by Thula’s car klaxon. So Thiyu meets with Kramon (กระหม่อม) Thula, member of Thai aristocracy. Thiyu also meets Saengson, who is Thula’s faithful admirer. Thula’s mother pushes her to meet rich bachelor Saengson as she has debt 2 millions baht due a failed automotive business. Thiyu's mother is dead. Pathet, his half brother, has already three wives, i.e. Kwanta, Pom and Puang. Kwanta is having an affair with Viwat, house attendant. Thiyu and Kwanta are former sweethearts (แฟน) but he broke up with her as she is only interested in money and has bad behavior (หัวใจชั่ว). Pathet saw a beautiful high society lady in Bangkok and wishes her to become another of his wives (เมียใหม่). This lady is Thula... The minor wives decide to help each other (ร่วมมือ). A friendship starts between Thiyu and Thula. Saengson wishes to marry Thula but Thula chases him away and reminds him to verify with his mum first! Rumors spread by Saengson's mother mention that Thula is bankrupted. Kwanta is pregnant and wishes to flee with Viwat. Viwat doesn't want to be responsible of this kid. Viwat resigns from his job (ลาออก). Pathet is infertile (เป็นหมัน) so others know Viwat is the father. There is an heritage issue as Thiyu never got anything when his father died. He now wishes to fight back for this heritage. Pathet offers a high salary to Thula and also offers to buy back the mother's debt. As Thula’s father dies in a plane crash in Hong Kong, she accepts Pathet’s offer believing it is a job offer only. Pathet believes his money will help him to get Thula’s love. So the new member in Pathet’s house is Thula! Thiyu is so surprised. Kwanta's parents complain to Pathet about her pregnancy. Kwanta claims Thiyu is the father! Thiyu has to accept to be the father. Both are upset. Pathet believes in money power (บูชาเงิน). There is a severe misunderstanding between Thula and Thiyu. Thula is upset Thiyu has hidden to her he has a pregnant wife already. Thiyu is upset Thula accepted to be Pathet's fourth wife. Pathet took his heritage now his love. It is more than he can endure. To make Pathet jealous, Pom and Puang claims that Thiyu and Thula love each other behind his back. His money cannot buy Thula's love and he starts to be violent with Kwanta and Puang. The house becomes a hell (เป็นนรก). Fed up being Pathet's slave, Thiyu forces Thula to flee with her. Thula is upset as it is not a situation matching her position (ฐานะหญิง). Pathet chases after them. Finally all misunderstandings are cleared between Thiyu and Thula. Pathet knows he cannot get Thula's love. Through a final gun duel with Thiyu, Pathet is shot by Puang. Pathet has paid for all the bad deeds he caused to others. It is a beautifully colorful remastered 2h22 movie.

นกแก้ว is a 1969 Thai movie in 16mm format with no sound. It was directed by Phan Kam, who directed more than 60 movies in his whole career. Only 1h10mn is left. Only the first and last film reels are left. So it is difficult to understand accurately the whole story. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is Petchara’s close friend. In a village on the countryside, Petchara Chaowarat catches Lor Tok trying to get fishes in their field. Sukon Koewliam is also having another comic role in the village. A grandfather in a wheel chair is talking to his son in Bangkok. As he is going old, he needs to prepare his succession. Petchara is his hidden granddaughter with another woman. The rich family siblings doesn't want her to receive anything. Anucha Rattanamarn is fiance with Kaenjai Meenakanit. They prepare a plan to disinherit Petchara. Mitr Chaibancha, the grandson, is offering flowers to the grandfather. There is a carnival in the village. Adul Dulyarat, a mysterious rich man, meets with Petchara. Petchara and Kaenchai meet also. She gives her a letter. What is inside the letter? Certainly a letter in which Petchara shall reject her rights to the heritage. Later on, Adul wants Petchara to sign a letter but she refuses so he slaps her. Adul threatens her mother to force Petchara to sign the letter. Meanwhile Mitr and Ruekyamdee enter secretly in the house where Petchara is held prisoner in order to help her. Shootings happen with ruffians but Thai police arrive on time to catch Adul. There is an important meeting to open heritage documents at the same time. Petchara arrives on time before the final signature! The grandfather was kept in the dark regarding Petchara by his own family but they all got arrested by police for forgery. Many movies names with Mitr and Petchara started with นก (bird) such as นกยูง (1969), นกแก้ว (1969), นกขมิ้น (1965) or นกน้อย (1964).

The movie summary is still available thanks to old Thai movies magazines. Mitr and Petchara love each other. Petchara gets pregnant. As a soldier, Mitr needs to go to fight in South Korea. No news from him are received anymore. Petchara gives birth to a daughter. She marries again believing Mitr is dead. Mitr is not dead but he is now a poor soldier disabled with part of his leg lost. Malee Wetpraseri, mother of Petchara, believes he is a dirty beggar and chases him away. It is a sad story. The movie entered Thai oscars competition on that year also. The 20 seconds sequence is the scene with Petchara wearing a red dress, Mitr as a beggar and grandmother Malee trying to chase him away.

It was released under VCD and DVD format by Thai company TripleX owned by former dubber คุณโต๊ะพันธมิตร. Rumours say there is a ghost (ผี) around Wang Prai (วังไพร) domain. Adinan Singhiran tries to prevent hunter Wikrom to go there. Wikrom is bitten by a snake (งูเจ้า) while entering in Wang Prai to find the ghost. Wang Prai is a 2500 rai domain. Kramom (Preuhat Boonlong) and Ekarin (Tat Ekathat) are now enemies (ศัตรูของพ่อ) due to old family stories over the domain possession. Chai (Mitr Chaibancha) is son of Kramom. Lor Tok is Kramon's attendant. Choompu (Kingdao Daranee) is one of Ekarin’s daughter. Somjit Sapsamruey is Ekarin’s wife. Prapayon (Preeya Roongrueng) wishes to marry Chai but this one has more interest in Koi (Petchara Chaowarat), Ekarin's second daughter. Chai's parents don't like Koi. In fact Chai doesn't approve elders’ decision to be enemies. Phi Pong (Adul Dulyarat) is Koi's elder brother but he has disappeared for many years. In fact Pong is hiding in Wang Prai as he is disfigured following a virus caught during war. Chai is helping him and ghosts rumors are only there to frighten anybody to come near Wang Prai. Chai's brother (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), a doctor, comes back to Thailand with a lady called Nathalie and her kid. They are Pong's family. 500 000 baht are needed to cure him. Koi and Chai succeed to find enough money by lying to elders. Pong is finally cured but elders refuse to allow weddings between Chai Phi / Koi and Chai Nong / Choompu. So the youngsters simulate fleeing and hide in Wang Prai. As the grandchild is about to fall from a cliff, the grandfathers help each other and regain friendship. Weddings are authorised. This old Thai western movie, taking place in Chiang Mai area, has a complete new soundtrack. A man is surprised sleeping in the forest. He is injured by a young lady called Chalong (Petchara Chaowarat) believing he is a thief. Nobody knows his name and why he is coming here. His real name is Pen Moradok (Sombat Methanee). In fact he is sent by central government to neutralize a local mafia head called Salapan. Pen meets many girls, i.e. Chalong, Fong and Peri, owner of a bar who all love him. Pen receives a threat to leave city within 24 hours or face death. Fights happen between Pen and Salapan's ruffians. Peri dies when helping to fight the ruffians. Finally Salapan is captured and Pen wins Chalong's heart. It is a typical 1960s movie where the leading actor seduces many actresses (James Bond syndrome?). This is a very old Thai movie compared to Thai standards. The digitalization has been poorly done. The movie is only 15 fps and some scenes are strangely cut. It should be seen for historical purpose and enjoy the chance to see famous stars Petchara Chaowarat and Sombat Methanee acting. This movie follows the Thai traditional drama precepts with a clown always following the leading actor and the leading lady having a maid of honor.

Her husband has already two boys from a first wedding. Those two boys from first wedding are Prachuap Ruekyamdee and At (Adul Dulyarat). The new husband also dies when Poradok (Pissamai Wilaisak) is 18 years old. Heritage discussion occurs. Aunt Sarinthip Siriwan is upset by the testament sharing. Saisamon (Sopha Sataporn) is a student and friend with Poradok. Her mother Saichai (Namgneun Boonnak) is sick and is identified with a cancer by doctor. Nephew Sun (Mitr Chaibancha) is living with them. Saichai loves Sun but Sun considers her as a mother. At has a mistress named Prissana (Yaowaret Nisakorn) with one child. Prissana is pregnant again but At is not taking good care of her. Porakdok is aware and promises to help. At is upset that Prissana discloses this to Poradok. Poradok travels to countryside to meet Saisamon. Aunt Saichai is upset to see Sun close to Poradok. Poradok and Sun start to know each other but Poradok believes Sun has a love relationship with Saichai. At and Prachuap arrive in countryside. Poradok has to go back to Bangkok. Aunt Saichai is upset that Sun misses Poradok. Aunt Saichai is entering final cancer phase. Her testament mentions that Sopha and Sun have to marry if they want to get any parts of the heritage. Aunt Saichai recognizes that there was nothing between her and Sun (คนกตัญญู). Sun and Saisamon have to choose between love or money. A party happens at Poradok's parents house. Krissada sings a song. At and his aunt lose face as Krissada sings about bad men unable to respect their engagement. At follows Krissada to her home and hits her. Luckily Poradok was also following behind and punches At. Sun and Saisamon agree to reject the heritage. Sun considers Saisamon as her sister. Saisamon keeps drinking as Sun doesn't love her but loves Poradok. The movie ends happily. At changes religion and marries again with Krissada. Saisamon has a love story with Prachuap. Poradok and Sun finds that the mother's lawyer was stealing money with aunt Sarinthip. Both are chased from the home. Poradok reconciles with her mother Pim. Romance Sun and Poradok can happen.

Pissamai is coming from countryside but changed her name ("อีแพน") as she wants to increase her status in Bangkok society ( สาวสังคม / นักเที่ยว). She is now a cinema star (ดารา). She likes Rawin (Sombat Methanee) but he is already engaged with Sopha. Teun (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) is disappointed that Pissamai finally married with Chai (Adul), a teacher training painting arts. Pissamai marries with Adul to have opportunity to be closer to Rawin. Teun and Pissamai know each other since they were youngsters in the countryside. They were lovers before. Before the wedding, Rawin congratulates Pissamai but gets slapped as she tells him she doesn’t love Chai. Teun keeps drinking alcohol as he is disappointed. Pissamai's father visits her knowing she is now a star and married to a rich man. Pissamai is very bad (ร้าย) as she chases away her father and younger brother by trying to give them money. The left sequence ends here. Another recent version was shot in 1981 and features Sorapong Chatree and Pisarn Akraseranee. Thai TV series were also released.

It lasts 1h15mn (3 reels in bad state especially reel number 2) and a dubbed version was shown in Thai Film Archives in 2020. It is still colorful. Movie director is Neramit. Visanoo (Mitr Chaibancha) and Chan (Pissamai Wilaisak) have not met for 10 years. Thep (Prachuap) tries to seduce Chan but to no avail. Mitr Chaibancha is playing two roles, i.e. Theva and Visanoo. Visanoo is Chan’s fiance. Preeya tries to break this relationship in order to marry Visanoo. Her mother uses Prachuap to force Chan but Theva intervenes and punches Prachuap. A famous sequence is when ruffian สุพรรณ บูรณพิมพ์ is chasing Pissamai with an axe. It was the last movie where Mitr Chaibancha and Pawana Chanajit played together. The legend said that in a romantic scene Mitr has to hug Pawana. Pawana was concerned so she deflected. It makes Mitr upset as he has always been a gentleman with actresses when playing movies. Mitr never played again with Pawana. Pawana then played in movies with Sombat Methanee and Chaiya Suriyun. A movie remake was released in year 1989 with Bin Banleurit, Ekapan Banleurit, ขวัญฤดี กลมกล่อม, Apiradee Pawaputanon. A TV serie was released in year 2003 on CH7 with จอนนี่ แอนโฟเน่ and เอมี่ กลิ่นประทุม.

Koh heng, Chana Sriubon are having a heated discussion with two other men and a lady in a bar. Misunderstanding and fighting happen. A brawl occurs in the bar. Ruj, Prachuap, Sompong and mariners storm the ruffians’ place. Chana is talking to a lady (รสริน วิลาวัลย์) over the phone and then he is picking her up by car. A sequence is showing a house near the sea and people are having fun in a swimming pool. Adul is seen in discussion with another gentleman. Chana is talking with รสริน วิลาวัลย์. Sombat Methanee, main actor, is unfortunately not seen in any of the remaining sequences. The movie is mixing romance and action. The movie poster was drawn by Piak Poster (เปี๊ยกโปสเตอร์).

เลือดแค้น is a Thai movie released in year 1964 with Mitr Chaibancha and Boosara Narumit. It is directed by Sompong Phonmitr who is also a famous comic actor and national artist. Other actors include Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Pipop Pupinyo (not yet with a shaved head), Somjit Sapsamruey, ดารายั่ว Preeya Roongrueng, leader of the ruffians played by Tawan Siriwat, Tat Ekathat. The movie was lost in Thailand but finally a partial reel was found in year 2013 thanks to a teacher and collector of old items in Songkhla area. A trailer of 2mn40 is left only but many short sequences showing many fist fightings and shootings in this action movie. The trailer is in bad quality but still watchable. The song advertising for the movie is still available.

Thai movie สมิงบ้านไร่ was released in year 1964 and lasts 2h12mn. It was never released in Thailand. The movie was lost except a last copy of the film saved in Thai Film Archives. The original film is probably much longer as some sequences are missing due to damaged film. It was restored and shown in Thai Film Archives to mark the 50th anniversary of Mitr Chibancha's death. Thai Film Archives screened and dubbed the movie a few times on their premises and uploaded it on YouTube in 2021 during the Covid 19 outbreak in Thailand. Movie director is Phan Kam. Ruffians are hitting an old man refusing their orders. Prachuap Ruekyamdee intervenes but gets outnumbered. Luckily, Saming (Mitr Chaibancha) chases the ruffians away. Nok Kiaw (Petchara Chaowarat), daughter of Mokasat (Phan Kam), and Saming love each other but they cannot marry as her father Mokasat despises Saming, protecting the villagers against ruffians. Mokasat uses his bad influence to get rich and always threatens villagers. Seua (Chao Klaewklong), working for Mokasat, wishes to get rid of Saming as he loves Nok Kiaw also. Saming cannot ask Nok Kiaw's hand as he needs to win for the sake of the villagers. It creates conflicts as Nok Kiaw cannot go against her own father's will. Won (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit), being stepmother, has difficulty winning Nok Kiaw's heart. Nok Kiaw is upset as Prachuap lacked respect for her while being drunk. Saman (Adul Dulyarat) arrives in the village and ruffians confuse him with Prachuap. Nam Peung (Boosara Narumit) helps with Sukholiem and Bab. Mokasat and Seua try to prevent Saming and Nok Kiaw from meeting, but ruffians are outnumbered. Angry, Mokasat asks his ruffians to destroy crops. Mokasat forbids his daughter Nok Kiaw to meet Saming again. Saming is upset and keeps drinking. Lady Bab asks uncle Sukon Koewliam to deliver a letter from Saming to Nok Kiaw. Sukon Koewliam is captured and tortured by the ruffians. He escapes to death. Saming promises revenge. While going to visit Nok Kiaw, Saming is captured by ruffians. Mokasat decides to send her daughter far away from the village to ensure she cannot meet Saming anymore. Ruffians come to the bar again but face a Thai boxing champion. Mokasat is upset that Saming is raising villagers against him. He asks Seua to find a strong hitman to fight against Saming and his team. Seua hires his friend Seua Tim (Chanee Yotchai). Seua Tim and his men terrorise the villagers. Meanwhile Saming has no news about Nok Kiaw. Won brings Saming to meet Nok Kiaw. Nok Kiaw is pregnant. For the sake of his future child, Saming agrees to stop opposing to Mokasat. Saming and Mokasat cannot reach agreement. Mokasat sees Won with a baby. Nobody dares to tell him it is Nok Kiaw's child. He wrongly believes Won has a lover and chases her. As Won takes refuge in Saming's house, Mokasat believes Saming is the lover and decides to storm his home. Fighting and shooting happen between the two groups. Police arrive. Being outnumbered, ruffians flee. Seua shots Mokasat. Before dying, Mokasat informs Won who shot him. Meanwhile Seua lies to Nok Kiaw in order to convince her to follow him. Seua Tim intervenes and shots Seua. He brings Nok Kiaw in the mountain, but Saming, aware though Won, chases them. Through an epic final fight, Saming gets rid of Seua Tim. Finally, it is revealed that Prachuap, Saman and the Thai boxer are undercover policemen.

The full movie is lost in Thailand but around three film reels are still available (more than 40 minutes). The movie is in 16mm format so it is in mute state as such movie requires live dubbers. No summary is available. This movie was produced by Ratanaporn and directed by her husband. Sombat Methanee’s five first movies were produced by Ratanaporn’s company (รุ้งเพชร - 1961...). In 1963, Sombat had a similar hairstyle as Mitr Chaibancha. Ratanaporn is playing two roles, i.e. two twin sisters. Sombat Methanee and Prachuap Ruekyamdee wish to seduce the two sisters. An evening party (masquerade ball) is organized. Ratanaporn is disguised as an old sorceress (แม่มด). She gives advices to Preeya Roongrueng. Sombat is getting confused between the two sisters at the masquerade ball. Orasa Isarangkul invites Sombat to dance. Prachuap simulates to have a leg injury to have opportunity to talk to Ratanaporn. He is wearing a fake moustache and works a waiter to be able to join the party. Sombat disguises also himself into a waiter to be close to Ratanaporn. Many Thai stars are playing in this movie, i.e. Sombat Methanee, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Charin Nantanakorn, Sompong Phonmitr, Preuhat Boonlong, Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng, Sarinthip Siriwan, Mom Chan Phuangwan, Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit, Preeya Roongrueng, Orasa Isarangkul, Chadaporn Wachirapranee. Chadaporn Wachirapranee is playing the wife of Preuhat Boonlong. 10 Thai feminine stars are present! Finally a romance starts between Sombat and Ratanaporn.

Thai movie จำเลยรัก was released in year 1963. This movie features Mitr Chaibancha as main actor and Pissamai Wilaisak as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand but a succession of sequences lasting one hour and 20 minutes is left to be seen. It is remaining out take sequences session (หลุด). The remaining film was dubbed and shown in Thai Film Archives in year 2017. Another version of จำเลยรัก was released in year 1978 through a DVD still available. It features Phairoj Sangwaribut and Naowarat Yooktanun. Two brothers, Narin and Narit (Mitr Chaibancha), are arguing. The youngest brother Narin loves a woman called Satsanee. As the love is not blossoming, he gets suicide. Satsanee (Amara Asavananda) and younger sister So (Pissamai Wilaisak) are part of a rich family. Her parents are played by Preuhat Boonlong and Manat Boonkiet. Her aunt by Malee Wetpraseri. Domestic helper is played by Sulaleewan Suwanthat. Believing So is Satsanee, the elder brother Narit blames So and announces to her that Narin is about to die. It is her last chance for her to see him. She follows Narit without warning her other family members. She understands too late that Narit kidnaps her. Narit wants her to pay for her sins (การใช้บาป). She claims she is not Satsanee but So! He doesn’t listen. Satsanee meets Wat (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Narit doesn’t want to release So as he is concerned she would lie to other men again. Ruffians led by Khun Wiset threatens Narit to sell his tin mine but he refuses. On the way to the city, Narit helps Wat, whose car has a flat tire. While having a drink, he learns that Narit just engaged with a young lady called Satsanee! Lady Boonkrai tries to frame So by pushing Bai to rape her. Narit is very upset with So as he believes she keeps seducing men such as his brother Narin, Bai and Wat so he keeps her captive so that she pays her moral debts (ชดใช้). Narit knows the truth as So speaks while having a nightmare. Narit excuses himself about his behavior. So asks him to give pardon (ขออภัย) but Narit refuses as he lost his brother. Love emerges between Narit and So. Ruffians attack the tin mine. Narit defeats their leader and confronts the owner of another mine, khun Wiset, that tried to steal his belongings. So cares for Narit, who was slightly injured during the fightings. Narit offers a pendant to So. So is back to her home. Satsanee wants to know where So has disappeared. Satsanee is engaged with Wat. Nariti finally meets Wat and the real Satsanee. Satsanee borrows So’s pendant. Bai realizes that Boonkrai was lying to him. Boonkrai also lies to Satsanee about Wat having an accident. Boonkrai and Hin have a plan. Narit and Wat storm the ruffians’ place to release Satsanee. Narit defeats Hin. Satsanee wishes to stay her whole life with Narit. Wat and Narit go back to Bangkok by train. Satsanee breaks up with Wat and gives back her engagement ring (ถอดหมั้น). Narit buys an engagement ring. Narit visits Satsanee’s parents and Satsanee believes Narit is asking for her hand. Narit asks for So’s hand causing Satsanee’s despair! It was a trick for Satsanee to suffer and understand the suffering she caused to others. Narit doesn’t want to meet Satsanee anymore and chases her away. Satsanee finally goes to see Wat back at the hospital and they engage again. Narit and So can have happiness. Three songs are featured in the movie.

Thai movie อวสานอินทรีแดง was released in year 1963. The movie under VCD format lasts 1h38mn. Parts of the movie are missing but it still has a colorful and sharp picture. Insee Daeng (Mitr Chaibancha) always provides useful information to the police inspector (สารวัตร). But one inspector called Chat still wishes to catch him. Tamrong (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) following a stage with Scotland Yard also wishes to capture Insee Daeng (อินทรีแดง). In public life Insee Daeng is Rom (Mitr Chaibancha), a journalist a bit coward and often drunk so that nobody could think both men are the same! Wassana (Petchara Chaowarat) is his journalist girlfriend. Chat is captured by an evil organisation (กลุ่ม Bodam) who tries to bribe him (พวกขายชาติ) but he refuses so gets imprisoned. The main police inspector and Song try to release Chat. Meuan gives the code to enter the house to them through coercion. They get captured also and meet Chomchai (Preeya Roongrueng) imprisoned by Phi Decha. Hopefully Insee Daeng helps them on time. Wassana gives support to Chomchai. Suthee (Yaowaret Nisakorn) is Tamrong’s sister. Tamrong fails to catch Insee Daeng. Meuan gets killed by one hitman from the organisation. As the hitman is caught by police inspector, the organisation also shots him to avoid he reveals any information to the police. Veteran comic actor Sithao Petcharoen as a photographer succeeds to take a picture of Insee Daeng without his mask (ชมหน้าอินทรีย์แดง). Insee Daeng fails to take back the film. Rom tries to get it back from the newspapers but Decha steals it first. Chomchai is captured back by Bodam organisation. Rom fails to get the film back from Decha as he is lying mentioning he is part of Bodam. Bodam now thinks Rom could be Insee Daeng as he is putting so much efforts to get back the film. Insee Daeng finally escapes from the ruffians and Daeng meets miss TinYong (Wanna SaengChanThip) from Hong Kong. She tries to persuade him to join Bodam organisation. Finally Insee Daeng steals the film back from Tamrong following a fist fighting. Tamrong suspects Rom could be Insee Daeng as he has many bruises supposed to be due to a fall in the stairs. Rom simulates a love story with TinYong to enter in Bodam organisation's hidden place. Police is warned also. Wassana frees TinYong seen as traitor, Suthee and Chomchai attached to a pile of dynamite. Once again, Insee Daeng helps Tamrong stuck in difficult situations. Once the ruffians are defeated, the corpse of Insee Daeng is found by Tamrong. Of course, it is only a simulacre put in place by Rom to ensure Tamrong stop looking for him.

Khun Thongdee inherits from his older sick wife. He prevents her to do a proper legacy document for her son in order to get everything for him. Pradap is the son. He is married to Mae Pin. They have two children น้อง Lin and น้อง Pai. Thongdee tries to abuse Mae Pin (คนสวย) but she fights back. As she refuses to become his mistress, he asks them to leave his home (ไล่) as he is the sole beneficiary according to law. As a revenge, Pradap throws some poison in his eyes to make him blind but is sent to prison for a few years. Mae Pin and her children take refuge in Pradap's mother home. The mother Mae Pin is becoming crippled (ง่อย) as she cannot use her legs anymore. They cannot stay at the grandma’s home as she doesn't like useless people. They buy a boat and look for a doctor. They find some charlatans such a useless doctor played by comedian Lor Tok. The movie highlights children gratitude (กตัญญู) towards their mother. Pai is sold as domestic helper to rich people in order to get money to pay for her mum medicine. Thanks to Lin's promise to ordain and the power of gratitude, the mother recovers magically from the disease. Many years have passed. The father is released from prison. Children are now grown up. Lin is played by actress Petchara Chaowarat. Anoo, her close friend, is played by actor Prachuap Ruekyamdee. Anoo introduces young man called Ponthet to Lin. Finally they marry. Lin's father is sick but Ponthet’s family is avaricious. The father is the owner of a casino. He tries to abuse Lin. Ponthet (นักเลงการพนัน) doesn't believe Lin and thinks she is trying to get the full heritage. She goes back home. This event causes her father to die. Lin delivers a child called Anout. Ponthet comes back promising he has changed but he is still gambling a lot (สนามม้า). Finally Lin leaves him again. As Ponthet has no money, Lin finally accepts his return for the good sake of her daughter. But he hasn't changed. He even steals pocket money of his daughter to gamble. Being chased from home, he refuses to divorce and continue to harass Lin outside of her home. Lin wishes to die. Khun Chakrik (Adul Dulyarat) helps Lin two times against Ponthet. A romance starts between them. Chakrik transforms Lin into a cinema star. Ponthet is now living a full ruffian life. Following a failed robbery, Ponthet and his ruffians take refuge in a house to escape to the police. Accidentally Anout and her baby sitter also take refuge in this house to avoid lost bullets. The ruffian leader uses Anout as a protection. Ponthet uses his own body to protect Anout from bullets and dies. Lin and Chakrik can now have happiness. This 50 years old movie is still in pretty good condition for an old Thai 16mm movie and colors are still radiant.

Thai movie พสุธาที่ข้ารัก was released in year 1961 with Prachuap Ruekyamdee as main actor and Amara Asavananda as main actress. The movie is lost in Thailand and only a trailer lasting 5 minutes is left to be seen. Other actors include Sukon Koewliam, a little boy as new actor (ดาราเด็กๆ). He looks like the son of Prachuap and Amara. It is an action movie and the trailer features sequences showing many fightings and shootings. Prachuap Ruekyamdee did have a short time as main actor as other actors such Mitr Chaibancha, Sombat Methanee and Luechai Natnat emerged also and became more popular.

Thai movie มือโจร is a Thai movie released in year 1961. Main actors are Adul Dulyarat and Prachuap Ruekyamdee. In year 1961, Adul is still the main actor. Soon he got only second role as Mitr Chaibancha, Sombat Methanee and Chaiya Suriyun became new favorite actors. Main actress is เยาวลักษณ์ มณีเดช, a new comer. Only 54 minutes is left to be seen. It has been remastered so it has a colorful and sharp picture. This movie got three Thai cinema rewards. Younger sister Saen borrows necklace of 40000 baht (สร้อยเพชร) from her elder sister to go to a party. She lost it. Worried to be accused of stealing the necklace, she flees in another city. She meets Adul there. While travelling, their vehicle has a technical issue. The driver walks away to get another car. Meanwhile they are attacked by robbers led by Yot (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Discovering that Adul is a doctor, Yot (Prachuap) kidnaps both Adul and the young lady. Yot’s wife is sick. She got malaria. Yot has finally a good heart. He was forced by life events to become a ruffian. The ruffians' troupe needs to flee to another place as police is chasing them. Sampan, Yot's wife, asks him to surrender (มอบตัว). Yot has arguments with one of his ruffians trying to steal his bounty. Yot is injured in the leg. While the troupe goes to find food, Sampan, the doctor and the young lady Saen flee. Knowing that she is pregnant, Sampan finally goes back to Yot to ensure her child has a father. Saen understands the doctor is a good man. Saen has to leave for Bangkok. Finally the doctor quits his job and joins her. Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng and Usa Atcharanimit have two small roles as cameo. Famous director is Wichit Khunawut. He made a remake of his own movie in year 1972. It was then called หัวใจป่า.

บาปสวาท is a Thai movie released in year 1960 and featuring actors Prachuap Ruekyamdee and Anothai Busayachat (อโนทัย บุศยชาติ). This movie features a new main actor (อารุยา กาญจนลักษณ์) and a new main actress (อโนทัย บุศยชาติ). A three minutes sequence only is left. Thanks to a group of former dubbers performing with 16 mm movies, old reels with small parts of lost films were found in year 2013. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is playing a ruffian (ดาวร้าย). Various sequences show policemen catching ruffians, the main actress aggressed by Prachuap. The picture is still colorful. Veteran actress Somjit Sapsamruey is also present. The movie director is Marut.

สี่คิงส์ or "See King" is a Thai crime movie produced by Tae Prakardwutthisan. The 1959 movie is lost in Thailand but hopefully a 16mm "behind the screen" sequence of 10 minutes is still available. It was given by Tae Prakardwutthisan himself in year 1988 to the Thai Film Archives. Despite using same actors as “Hao Dong” (1956), “See King” movie was not a commercial success. The sequence shows the actors and actresses during the first projection in year 1959. Those actors are Amara Asavananda, Chaiya Suriyun, Dokdin Kanyaman, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Sompong Phonmitr, Sawin Sawangrat, Lor Tok. The movie trailer is also included. A few fights are featured with Chaiya. Dokdin Kanyaman is acting as a journalist. Somphong and veteran comic actress Chosri Misommon (ชูศรี มีสมมนต์) are featured together. Both the main actor and main actress are nice outlaws. Similar as in movie “Hao Dong”, Amara is wearing a mask. The sequence is coming from a DVD that can be bought at Thai Film Archives. The movie advertisement song radio is set as soundtrack (เพลงโฆษณาหนัง) and highlight it is a good movie (สี่คิงส์ หนังดี สี่คิงส์ ยิ่งใหญ่ เด็ดจริง ถึงใจ ใช่ใคร สี่คิงส์). A remake version was released in year 1982 featuring Sorapong Chatree and Naowarat Yooktanun. It was not also a great commercial success.

The hotel bar caretaker Noi is a brave guy (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) but he is a bit gullible and too nice to customers. The hotel is used as rehearsal hall by choral or a Philippine artist such as miss Flora or Chinese opera (งิ้ว) or even a boxing match. The hotel is often used for arm wrestling competition. The caretaker Noi can often beat men much stronger than him. This strange hotel has only one room and it is already occupied by Mr Chana (Chana Sriubon). Issue arises when a young lady called Riem (Sarinthip Siriwan) asks for a room also. Chana renames the hotel Paradise as hotel Hell (โรงแรมนรก) as it is too noisy. Chana and Riem keep arguing for the room and even fight for pillows (ใจดำ). Chana is getting mad as he cannot sleep properly. Rumors about bandit Seua Din reach the hotel. Taking a bath in a nearby river, Riem needs to borrow Chana's gun to protect herself in case Seua Din is around. As Chana refuses, she bets with him and wins a shooting game. Three ruffians including a fierce guy called Krai are looking for Chana as he is an accountant. They wish to rob his money before he pays company salaries. Noi's uncle is shot. Riem is back when they start to beat Noi and Chana to know when the money arrives. The ruffians are quite polite (เสือสุภาพบุรุษ) but determined to get the money. Noi tells that Riem is Chana's wife. To make Chana speaks, the ruffians threaten his wife’s integrity. Chana finally accepts to tell that money will arrive at 4am. Love emerges between Riem and Chana. One of the ruffians helps Noi as he was looking for honest job and not a thief job. Krai shoots his two friends at nighttime as he believes they betrayed him by protecting Chana. Seua Din enters in the hotel and wishes to get the money also with no sharing. So a Russian roulette game is organised between Krai and Seua Din. Seua Din is very polite (เสือสุภาพบุรุษ) also but not Krai who breaks the game rules and shoots him. Chana and Noi capture Krai. The agent sending the money was Riem, daughter of the company owner. Chana and Riem cannot marry as Chana believes he is a small accountant only. Riem succeeds to convince him. There is a great performance of Prachuap Ruekyamdee who is playing a major role here instead of being a second role in a movie with leading actor Mitr Chaibancha. The movie scenario is very witty. Country Hotel (โรงแรมนรก) is a 1957 black and white movie lasting 2h19mn. It was filmed in 35mm format (using real actors voice) at the opposite of mainstream Thai movies using 16mm format (using dubbers). The movie received 3 awards in 1959 (best director, best image, best sound). The bar can still be found at Thai Film Archives museum. Western classical music is used. There is a great soundtrack used to create special ambience when fighting is happening. It is an indoor movie shooting.
