Thai movie อาปัติ was released in year 2015. It lasts 1h20mn. The movie อาบัติ was censored and finally renamed as อาปัติ after removing some controversial scenes. Thai movie "Arbat" (อาบัติ) was first banned in 2015. Thai Censorship Board objected to the movie not being respectful to Thai Buddhism (novice drinking alcohol, novices fighting, novice showing disrespect to the Buddha image, novice touching the face of a girl). Finally after cutting three minutes, the movie was unbanned and released under new name "Arpatti" (อาปัติ). The movie still shows young monks smoking and playing with their smartphone but those are typical scenes that can be seen nowadays in Buddhist temples. The movie director mentions it was a way to attract attention on issues happening in nowadays Thai Buddhism. Novice (เณร) San (Charlie Trairattana) just enters monkhood. San is back from prison after 2 years and his father still does not forgive him. In this Buddhist temple, they provide food and prayers for hungry ghosts (เปรต). Not everybody can see hungry ghost (One way to to see a ghost is to bend over, stick the head between legs and look behind). San still tries to contact his girlfriend through Line but she doesn't answer. Sorapong Chatree is playing a crazy guy. San meets a young teen girl called Fai. San has visions of ghosts in his room. San is upset as his girlfriend doesn't answer. She finally tells him that she wishes to break (เลิก). Upset San drinks alcohol and is discovered by other monks. He wishes to disrobe (สึก). Issues are happening with the crazy guy, who mentions a ghost is around San's cloister (กุฏิ) and is also stealing alms offering (บิณฑบาต) food. But as the abbot takes too long time to let him go, he wishes to remove the robe by himself (อย่าถอดผ้าเหลือง). He has often discussion with another Luang Phi, who had a sad childhood. His mother Pin hanged herself in the cloister, where San is now staying. Pin used to live in front of Fai's house. Pin used to love a monk but this love was impossible (บาป). Per local superstition, she should reincarnate in a hungry ghost. San decides to flee with Fai. The crazy guy was a Buddhist abbot and had an affair with Pin (อาบัติ - offence). As she hanged herself, the abbot buried her. He also killed Luang Phi, Pin's first son, to silence him. Following the crime, he becomes crazy being tormented by Pin's ghost. San needs to choose if he wants to be a holy man (นักบุญ) or a sinner (นักบาป). Luang Phi body is finally discovered and cremated properly. His half-brother is the now current abbot. San decides to stay in the monkhood.

Thai movie ม้ง สงครามวีรบุรุษ (Hmong, blood for freedom) was released in year 2012. It is based on real facts in years 1962-1965. Mountain people (แมว / ชาวโมง) are harassed by ruffians (เจ้าหน้าที่). Their leader is Kamnan Saeng (Rith Luecha). Militaries (Sorapong Chatree,Nard Poowanai,Suchao Pongwilai) are worried by Communist influence. Thai soldiers attack a village believing there are communists inside (ใครเป็นชาวบ้านใครเป็นcommunist). For many soldiers, those mountain people have no value except for Sorapong. Bin Banleurit as soldier is shot by the mountain leader, who is also shot. Sorapong takes responsibility of the mountain leader's son. The mountain leader is only injured and joined the communist resistance (สหาย). His young daughter also joins him. Bin's helicopter is shot down. 15 years have passed. Keng (mountain leader’s son) and Aya (Bin’s daughter) are now adults. Ken asks Sorapong to perform his duty as Thai soldier in the mountains area. Sorapong is reluctant as he could face former former relatives. Which side would Keng choose (ทรยศแผ่นดินไทย)? Finally he lets him go. Aya and her students friends are captured while trying to find the remaining of her father's helicopter in the forest. While dispatched by helicopter on zone, Keng is captured. His real father remembers the pendant he gave him 15 years ago. Keng helps Aya to find the helicopter of his father and to perform proper Buddhist ceremony with the body remains. Keng's brother, who is a policeman, extracts him from the tribal village. Keng is back in Thai army. A government amnesty is given to all who joined the guerilla war. Hardcore communist members hesitate to surrender. Keng is looking for his father and sister. Other guerilla members don't trust Keng, who is a Thai soldier. Finally Thai soldiers attack the village. Keng's sister is killed and the father is injured. The guerilla is defeated. While raising the Thai flag, one Hmong tribe member shots Thai soldiers causing the Thai flag to fall. Keng prevents the Thai flag to hit the soil but gets deadly injured. He makes his father promises to stop fighting. This nationalist trend movie with many Thai stars from 1970s recalls movies from this era with stress on Monarchy and sacrifice to protect Thai Nation.

Three kids, two boys and a girl, are close friends and have a dream. The girl, Raem, wants to be a theater actress (นางเอกลิเก), the second one wants to be painter, the third one, Chat, wants to have a high position. Children are now grown-up teens. The two boys love Raem. Chat is an orphan. Chat is working in Master (ครู) Yot's masked-dance Khon troupe. Khon (โขน) is a Thai classic masked play enacting scenes from the Ramakian (รามเกียรติ์). Lamphai is master Yot's mistress. She wishes to become a famous dancer (นางรำ). Chat has a fierce enemy, Khom, since childhood following a Thai boxing match which degenerated. Teachers Yot and Sek have strong dislike. During a 7 days festival (งานเปิดละคร), taking advantage that the actor playing the monkey Hanuman is injured, Chat replaces him and defies Khom playing the evil Thotsakan. Their animosity appears on the stage. Lamphai likes Chat a lot but Chat refuses Lamphai's advances so causing her ire. He is punished by Yot for playing Khon without being authorized. Lamphai promises him revenge as she felt humiliated. Yot's team will have a representation at Wat Ang Thong. But Sek proposes also to do a representation there so Yot's team is relegated to a smaller temple Ang Kaew with much less space. Lamphai will play Sida. Chat will be Hanuman. In Ramakian traditional epic, Sida is Phra Ram’s wife, Hanuman is the monkey general and the evil character is Thotsakan. It is nice to see old traditional Likay advertisement with huge painted billboards. Sek has a huge truck to do advertisement but Yot has only a small boat. Sek defies Yot and recommends Yot to cancel his representation to avoid tarnishing his troupe name by playing in a small temple. Khom promises a fight to Chat and threatens Raem if Chat refuses to come. Before the representation, Chat is beaten severely by Khom and his ruffians. His injuries prevent him to perform correctly and the representation is a disaster. Yot's name is tarnished and the teacher decides to stop Khon. It is time for “pay respect to teacher” ceremony (ไหว้ครูใหญ่) to take place. Yot respected his teacher many years ago but Sek didn't. Their destiny was different while Sek was having big name, big stage on city side and Yot was staying in the shade in countryside. Lamphai teases and provokes Chat. Teacher Yot finds Chat and Lamphai sleeping together so he is chasing Chat away and having a heart attack. He is now paralyzed. Chat and Raem declare their love causing their third friend’s despair. This causes the three friends to split apart. Chat is back following Narin’s request. Chat has always been considered as his son by Yot so the short adventure with Lamphai was seen as a betrayal. Khom betrays his master Sek the same way Sek betrayed his own master 40 years ago. But Khom is punished immediately. A fire occurs in master Yot's house. Lamphai decides to die with him. Chat cannot save them due to the fierce fire. He becomes crazy. It was his karma despite him. All protagonists pay their past actions due to Karmic retribution. This movie reminds of other cultural Thai movies such as “The overture” and “Nora” with a great focus on dying traditional arts. Movie "Kon Khon" (คนโขน) was Thailand's submission to 2012 Academy Awards. It was a controversial choice because of lack of critical acclaim and box-office success. Critics complain about its one-dimensional characters, heavy-handed melodrama and an unfocused plot. The movie was a flop earning just around 8 millions baht. This movie was directed by Saranyu Wongkrachang, famous Thai actor, director and also PAD leader! In year 2011 he wrote a message on Facebook to make an emotional request for viewers to watch his movie "Kon Khon". "Kon Khon" movie sponsors were Thai Life Insurance and the Government Housing Bank. The Cultural Ministry arranged for special screenings to around 20 schools.

Yamada is a Japanese samurai living in Thailand during Ayutthaya period. This movie praises the diplomatic relationships between Thailand and Japan. Some Japanese and Thai soldiers assure the protection of King Naresuan. Yamada, following a feast in Ayutthaya former Japanese village (หมู่บ้านของชาวญี่ปุ่น), is betrayed and attacked by some Japanese ninjas led by traitor Kaito. He was about to be killed when Siamese warriors rescue him. Japanese sword skills are not enough versus Thai boxing skills! Injured, Yamada is cured in Phitsanulok. Traditional medicine, done by the local abbot (Sorapong Chatree), helps him to recover fast. Kaito sends his ninjas to find him as Yamada knows his betrayal. Local Thai people call Yamada as “white face” (หน้าขาว) or "I jipun" (ญี่ปุ่น)! The local abbot is very active to protect Ayutthaya and teaches to Thai soldiers the art (ศิลปะ) of Thai boxing (มวยไทย) with the support of strong warrior Aikham. Champa is the young lady taking care of Yamada during his recovery. Old Thai traditions are nicely shown such as eat betel, big protective tattoos on the body, charming scenes with boats and rivers (คลอง), representation of old traditions and old games. Yamada is very thankful for the cure received. So he wishes to help Ayutthaya kingdom to pay his debt back. A love story also starts with Champa. The Japanese ninjas finally find him but fail to kill him. The villagers now understand Yamada must have an important secret. Yamada wishes to learn Thai boxing but it is an art dedicated to Thai people only. He wish to become the abbot disciple (ลูกศิษย์) and convinces him by proving he is now an Ayutthaya citizen in his heart also. The training starts and despite difficulties, he is finally accepted by other Thai boxing fighters and wins their friendship. Nation love is not only for born citizen but for everybody who has it in his heart. He offers his samurai sword to Aikham (พี่น้อกัน). Following a sacred tattoo session, Yamada has now Ayutthaya blood in his veins. He is accepted inside the King’s private guards. 200 Burmese soldiers enter the Thai Kingdom. The King sends ten of his best fighters including Yamada to neutralize them. They succeed. Thematic regarding “Love the King, love the nation” is highlighted. Nationalism is often seen in Thai movies with historical theme. Yamada has to leave the Thai village and to go back to Japan but in fact he wishes to get revenge over Kaito. Yamada has to fight against 100 warriors to reach Kaito but hopefully Aikham helps him. Kaito uses a gun to shoot Yamada but Aikham is the one injured and dies. Yamada takes revenge over Kaito and stays in Thailand. It is based on the real historical character Yamada Nagamasa, who was a Japanese adventurer who gained considerable influence in Thailand at the beginning of the 17th century and became the governor of the Nakhon Si Thammarat province in southern Thailand. This movie uses many strong CGI effects to show the bloody fights. Buakaw Por Pramuk (บัวขาว ป. ประมุข), real Thai kickboxer, starred as a Thai soldier. The movie was also shown in Japan.

Mr Sneed, a despising foreigner, and Dr Dachanon, head of arts performing department, are organizing a fight contest. Pod is the leader of one team called “Fighting Club” (Ao, Ed, Pom, Lerm, Ko, James). Two teams fight for a ring. The winning team will go to Hollywood. Pod's team celebrates their victory. But due to strong alcohol flooding during the celebration party, they have arguments with the waiters. They wake up with no phones, no cars, no motorized vehicles. They have been drugged. Some ruggedised cars try to smash them. Meanwhile Joy is kidnapped. Joy is Ram's daughter (Sorapong Chatree). Two men loves Joy, i.e. Pod and Pom. Kidnappers are masked and wear ninja clothes. They are led by Parina (Panna Rittikrai), an old art martial expert. In fact it is a wargame organised by Dr Dachanon to test the team and verify if they are really true friends. Mr Sneed is getting international gamblers to bet big money on the best fighters to win. It is game up to death. The action takes place in a disaffected factory. Ao and Ed win against three opponents. James and Pom move to the wrong side due to money matters. Strong group fights take place and finally the “Fighting Club” team wins. A final fight against master Parina happens. Pod's mum is held captured to influence him negatively. Anyway they defeat the master as he needs some respiratory medicine. A final epic fight happens on moving trucks. Gamblers are also punished. Panna Rittikrai trained actor Tony Jaa so fights are always intense and real. Some acrobatic jumps on motorbikes or high jumps from buildings are really impressive. The movie scenario is simple but Panna Rittikrai’s fans want to see true fights only. This movie is similar to video game concept.

Langkasuka is a small kingdom in South of thailand during Ayuthaya period. A Queen is managing the city as the King of Langkasuka was assassinated. The Queen is under threat as several assassination tentatives are performed. She wants her daughter to marry the Prince of Pahang to get more protection for Langkasuka city. Her daughter is not willing to marry the Prince of Pahang but finally accepts. Langkasuka is under threat and the Queen is looking for big cannons to protect the city. Pari is a young skilled man that has been trained since his chilhood in order to swim fast under the sea, to able to breathe under the sea and listen to noise under the sea. With local villagers, he has to often confront pirate boats. In their village a Chinese cannon expert is living. One day, all villagers are killed by Black Raven pirates who kidnap the Queen's daughters coming to convince the Chinese expert to make cannons for Langkasuka city. Pari, whose wife has been killed, follows the pirates and help to free the Queen's daughters. Pari and one daughter are separated from the group and then rescued by Master White Ray, who teachs him some black magic and to be able control sea creatures. The master has a white and black personalities. Black Raven pirates succeeds to make cannons and through an alliance with other local kings decide to take over Langkasuka. A Langkasuka soldiers team tries to destroy the cannons but fails. The Master, under his black personality, helps the pirates to retrieve a big cannon under the sea to destroy Langkasuka. Hopefully the intervention of Pari will be decisive during the battle.

During Ayuthaya period, a teen, called Thien, following a fight with slaves merchants, is rescued by Cheu Nang. Cheu Nang is the village head of a group of warriors and fighters. Thien is the son of Lord Sihadecho, who has been assassinated by Lord Rachasena. Thien is trained to become a powerful fighter in Thai boxing and weapons handling such as sword, spike, nunchaku, rope, bomb etc... Becoming an adult, he helps to stop the former slaves merchants that held him and to release their slaves. He then succeeds to kill Lord Rachasena in his palace but when going back to Cheu Nang's village, he is attacked by score of fighters and is overcome by them. Lord Rachasena is not dead. During a final fight forced by Lord Rachasena, Thien has to compete against Cheu Nang. Ong bak 2 is not a second Opus of Ong Bak as the previous one was taking place in modern Bangkok. At the end of movie, Thien is captured and Lord Rachasena promised him a long and painful agony. Ong Bak 3 is on the way for 2010! Many incredible action scenes are involving Tony Jaa and real elephants. The 2009 Thai Films Award Best Supporting Actor for "Ong Bak 2" was for actor Sorapong Chatree.

This movie is made in three parts and relates the story of the greatest hero in Thai history, i.e. King Naresuan who was born in 1555. At the age of nine, he had been taken as hostage to Burma for 6 years to ensure Phitsanulok's loyalty to Burmese kingdom. In Pegu, Naresuan is treated as a son of the Burmese king, Bayinnaung, and is afforded all the respect due to a prince. Naresuan is ordained as a novice monk in a Buddhist temple under the supervision of the monk, Khanchong. There he became acquainted with sword fighting and methods of war. As his sister is also held hostage, Naresuan decided it is time for him to return to Siam. He attracted a band of loyal fellows and made his escape back to Phitsanulok.

Naresuan was sent back to Pegu to represent his father in paying homage to King Nandabayin, who had succeeded Bayinnaung, who passed away in 1581. Naresuan participated with his troops in a Burmese expedition against a Shan state and succeeded in taking a city after the Burmese crown prince and another prince had failed to do so. Naresuan thereby gained the jealous animosity of the crown prince, who plot various attacks against him. Naresuan proclaimed independence from Burma. When crossing River Satong, Naresuan had his forces under attack. With his army across, Naresuan is given a long rifle by his tutor, the monk Khanchong. Naresuan takes aim at the Burmese General across the mile-wide river and fires, killing the man and causing the Burmese troops to loose their morale and cease to follow. In 2009 King Naresuan 3 and 4 are being filmed with government financial support. The Ministry of Culture prioritises its financial support to films that deal with promoting loyalty to the pillars of nation, religion and monarchy. We are back to old times under Thanin Kraivichian's government (1976-1977), where Thai people were tought to be afraid of communism and that the way to survive was already to protect the nation, the religion and the monarchy.

Dhep haven't seen his father since 10 years. He is now a traveling photographer on his way home to solve problems with his father. On the way home, he meets a young woman called Riam and falls in love with her. But she is his father's new young wife. Dhep stays at their place and understands that Riam faces same problems as his mother 10 years ago before her suicide. He tries to treat Riam kindly but a forbidden love rears its head and the pair decides to make a go of it. But Dhep's father is a very jealous man...

It is about a legendary Thai princess who died fighting the Burmese on elephant-back. The film required five years of research and two-and-a-half years of shooting. It has broken almost every record in Thai film history. It is the most expensive at 400 million baht, the most star-studded, with a cast of 2,000 extras and more than 50 elephants and 70 horses. It has the longest shooting time and the longest screening time, i.e. three hours and five minutes. In 2003, an updated five hours version was released. In 2003, the film was also released in the United States with a shorter running time. This version was edited by Francis Ford Coppola, an old classmate of ChatriChalerm Yukol. Reigning monarch Queen Sirikit instigated this movie, financed most of it, arranged for palaces and historic sites to be opened to a film crew for the first time. The Culture Ministry registers 25 Thai classic films each year at the National Film Heritage Registry. This movie is part of the 25 films heritage list announced on 04 October 2015, which is Thai Movies Conservation Day.

Tok (Lor Tok), playing an occult master (อาจารย์), is abusing credulity of young ladies having love issues. The children also get money from faithful people coming to get monks' advice. Koti is a good singer so a lady promises to release a music tape for him. At school, Koti sees two motorbike drivers giving drugs (ยาบ้า) to some students (นักเรียน). Koti is now aware that some students are addicted (ติดยา). A lady (ดวงเดือน จิไธสงค์ - Sorapong Chatree’s wife in real life and in this movie also) with her two daughters, Joey and Chutima, visits monk Krung but she forgets her purse. Kowit Wattanakul is raising birds. Koti gives back the purse but refuses a reward as the monk taught him. Koti and his friend hear ruffians discussing about drugs traffic in the cemetery located in the Buddhist temple. Lor Tok is arrested by Thai police. Sorapong, father of Joey and Chutima, is unwilling that his daughters meet the temple boys. The two daughters visit the Buddhist temple and get kidnapped by the motorbike taxis. The ruffians plan to resell the girls in a prostitution ring. Koti and his friends are also captured as the ruffians' leader believes the friend attacks his parents before. Police are warned. Finally, Koto, Poum, Joey and Chutima succeed to flee but ruffians are chasing them. Luckily a beggar in the Buddhist temple gives important advice to the Thai police. Police catch them on time and Koti neutralises the ruffians’ leader. Sorapong has always been negative about Koti but finally appreciates his help to release his daughters.

Dong (โด่ง) is released from prison. His friend Tor (ต่อ), his brother Ta (ต๊ะ) and his girlfriend Ploy are waiting for him. Ta is mute. They work in a family garage repairing cars. Ta and Dong try to become good teens now. They also try to have happy love stories but fights often happen with local gangsters. Dong loves Ploy, sister of Kong, a local gangster leader. One day Ta’s girlfriend Ying is gang raped in front of him by four men from Kong's gang and Ta cannot help. Revenge is inevitable. They storm Kong's gambling den. Following gun fight, one of the ruffians is shot dead. It turns badly (ทางที่ไม่ต้องการ). They kidnap Kong's girlfriend as protection ( ตัวประการ) and also grab a bag containing money and amphetamine drugs (ยาบ้า). Police is involved through inspector Sarawat (สารวัตร), who is wearing amazing colorful “Luk thung” clothes. The father is disappointed by his sons (ลูกชั่ว). The teens are misunderstood but they cannot turn back anymore. Kong is chasing them for the bag not for his girlfriend. Veteran actor Sorapong Chatree is playing the bad corrupted cop. He seldom plays bad guys. Veteran actor Suchao Pongwilai is playing the honest cop Vilai. It is ironic that he plays the rightful policeman this time as normally he always plays the corrupted official role. Things get out of control. Kong and the inspector try to catch them. Following a gun fight, a policeman is shot by the corrupted inspector and the teens get accused again. There is no rightful law in this modern society. There is a 2 millions baht reward to catch them. Ta is injured. Even Ying is endangered in the hospital. They help her on time and bring Ploy as nurse to take care of Ta. Ta leaves a love message for his father (ผมรักพ่อ). Surrounded by the police, they have to jump from a Bangkok bridge. Vilai starts to notice the close relationship between Kong and Sarawat. They take shelter in the Christian church in Thonburi. Kong attacks the parents’ house. The father is injured and Ta dies. Only Dong and Tor are left but Ploy prevents them to rush for revenge (ใช้่อารมณ์). Forced by Kong, Ploy refuses to leave for Hong Kong. Relations get sour between the police officer and Kong. The police officer kidnaps Kong's young brother to get a ransom. During the exchange, Dong and Ta irrupts causing a mess and gun fights between all. The movie then features 15 last minutes of intense action and bloody scenes. It ends tragically for all protagonists. The movie song is sing by Seua Thanapol (เสือ ธนพล). Due to 1997 Asian financial crisis, the movie didn’t perform as good as it should have at Thai box office (25M baht).

Thai movie เสือดำ was released in year 1996. It lasts only 1h17mn. Maybe some parts are censored. Mafia leader Wanchai is arrested by police. Chief investigator Sorapong Chatree is leading the interrogation. Wanchai refuses to talk until his daughter Chantra is back. Tongchai (Chat Mongkolchai) is an old associate of Wanchai. He is responsible of Wanchai's fall in order to take his place (หากหลัง). Chantra wishes to have her father released (ประการพ่อ) but Sorapong refuses the money offered to him. Chantra is upset and wishes to get rid of both Sorapong and Tongchai. Tongchai's ruffians try to kill Chantra. Sorapong tries to disrupt Tongchai's business. Gangster war is happening between Tongchai and Chantra. Chantra hires a hitman (มือปืน), who is a woman. She tries to kill Tongchai but only finds his girlfriend. Chantra, fed up by Tongchai's behaviour, decided to manage the case directly. The police is surrounding Tongchai and his ruffians while they are negotiating with overseas traffickers. Tongchai succeeds to flee but is shot by Chantra wishing to clean her family honor. Sorapong Chatree is still a key selling point on the movie poster but during the movie, all actions scenes are played by a new generation of actors.

Thai movie สามสาวตะวันเพลิง was released in year 1996 and lasts 1h18mn. It was released under VHS and VCD versions. It was released on VCD by company APS. Hot scenes are censored so the remaining movie part lasts only 1h18mn. Border police led by Peuk (Sorapong Chatree) tries to catch traffickers led by Ton (ไวท์ ผดุงการ - White Padungkan) but they succeed to flee. Head of the police is upset with Peuk as he always fails. Three young ladies (Darin Kornsakoon, วิภาวดี รพีพันธ์, แสงดาว พรรณมณี) arrive in the remote city. They have issues with local ruffians. During a fight, one of the ruffians die accidently (รังแคผู้หญิง). Local subdistrict headman follows them (ตามไป) and asks Peuk to catch them. As their car is damaged, the three ladies flee through the forest. Peuk's leader is in fact helping the ruffians by providing insider information so no wonder that Pleuk's missions always fail. Ton wishes to get rid of the police leader as he shares only 60% with them. The three ladies plan to take refuge in a remote area and wait that the situation gets calm. Peuk arrests them. They meet Ton and shootings happen. Peuk escapes but the three ladies are captured by ruffians. Noi (Darin Kornsakoon) is Ton's former girlfriend. She broke up with him two years ago as he didn't want to stop being a ruffian. Local subdistrict headman is following behind. The three ladies need to escape from Ton but also need to escape from local subdistrict headman. During the escape, only two ladies Noi and Neui succeed to escape. The third one Noui is recaptured by the ruffians. The two ladies are back to release Noui (เป็นเพื่อนรัก). Peuk's boss is confirmed to be a corrupted policeman by the district sub headman. The ladies want to get justice, get back their money to start a new life and revenge (แก้แค้น) as Noui raped by the ruffians. The movie ends up in multiple shootings between Ton's ruffians, the three ladies, the subdistrict headman and his men, Peuk and his boss. Only Peuk and the three ladies survive. This is a grade B action movie targeted for Thai provinces and featuring action, a bit of erotism, a bit of humour.

Thai movie Long June - ล่องจุ๊น ขอหมอนใบนั้นที่เธอฝันยามหนุน was released in year 1996. Teens June and Nok are close friends. They are living in Nakhon Pathom. June's father is played by Sorapong Chatree. The father is separated from the mother many years ago. June is helping to transport goods every Sunday. He meets his father, who doesn't recognize him. On the same day, his mother announced him she is going to live with uncle Tor (Suchao Pongwilai). June is disappointed. Later on uncle Tor is finally a bad guy beating his mother. Following altercation, June stabs him and has to flee to Bangkok with Nok. Many years ago, the father splits with the mother as he wanted to have a minor wife but she refused. June is arrested by police in Bangkok and they found his father's business card. His father bails him (ประการตัว). Nok escapes the police. June has two young brothers. The youngest one has no interest in June and keeps asking for gifts from the father. The head of school (Sahat Piempongsan) warns June about fighting in the school. Sorapong is a strong father, who doesn't trust June and had never any interest into him. June is fed up of this world where only adults (เป็นผู้ใหญ่) decide and are always right (ผู้ใหญ่ประเทศนี้มันไม่เคยผิดแล้ว). The teacher told him not to use bad mood (อารมณ์) to make decision. June accepts to recognise his mistakes when he makes error (ยอมรับผิด). Nok is now a drug leader. Romance with the daughter of school headmaster happens. June's brother buys drugs from Nok. The father is disappointed (ลูกไม่รักดี) to see his youngest son expelled from school due to drug usage. The father gets injured due to car accident and entrusts June to finish an important work but June needs to quit school. He feels to be the one to be sacrificed. He has issues with the workers. Finally he succeeds to make it on time and gets appreciation from his father. He also helps his younger brother beaten by drugs dealers led by Nok. Friendship happens a last time between June and Nok as Nok helps him. The family is now reunited and Sorapong is proud of June.

This second release deals about Aids. This movie shows the Thai society rejection and fear towards HIV people. The film has a informative goal as it shows a rich family confronted to Aids due to contaminated blood transfusion. It demonstrates that Aids is not limited to drug users and sex workers. It emphasizes the family love towards sick people. Sia Dai 1 (about urban teenagers and drug abuse) earned more than 50 million baht, while Sia Dai 2 (about Aids and discrimination) brought in less than 10 million baht.

Thai movie โพธิ์หัก was released in year 1995. The movie lasts 1h26mn. Pliaw (Sorapong Chatree) is a poor farmer married to Bua. They have a young boy. Bua is the daughter of Pho Kamnan, who has always rejected this wedding. Pho Kamnan finally finds back Pliaw and Bua. Unfortunately Bua, sick of pneumonia, dies and Pliaw is accused by Pho Kamnan of having neglected his wife. Pliaw and his son flee. They find a shelter in Phujai Ming's house (Somsak Chaisongkram). Pho Kamnan knows that Ming hides Pliaw but two friends of Pliaw chase the ruffians away. Sri Prai is the daughter of Phujai. She likes Pliaw. Pho Kamnan hires fighters to storm Ming's house. Despite resistance, Ming and Pliaw's friends are outnumbered and defeated. Pliaw decides to fight back (จะลุย) as he has no choice (พีไม่มีทางเลือก). Pliaw and his friends storm Pho Kamnan's house but he succeeds to escape. As often in Isan movie, some additional funny words or jokes are added in the soundtrack background. Crossed romance and jealousy happen with Pliaw’s best friend, who loves secretly Sri Prai. Pho Kamnan decides to get rid of Pliaw (ปิดบัญชี) and kidnaps Sri Prai to be used as a bait. The movie ends up with fightings involving Pliaw, his friends and Ming’s family versus Pho Kamnan and his ruffians. Ruffians are all killed. Pliaw can now enjoy a new freedom. This is a small movie (หนังฟอร์มเล็กๆ) from Isan area with Sorapong Chatree still being a main actor. Sorapong was the main actor of many Thai movies during 3 decades! This movie is certainly one of the last movies where Sorapong still has the main role.

Boonchu and Mo are now married and Mo is pregrant. Boonchu helps to recover the village temple Buddha statue that has been stolen.

Thai movie เพชรพันล้าน / The Diamond was released in year 1994. It lasts 1h20mn. In the opening sequence, Sorapong Chatree name is translated as Robert Cha Tree! Ruffians leaders are having a meeting (Phi Pat - Dam Datsakorn with no moustache, Chat Mongkolchai, Pracha) about sharing the profit of a 1000 diamonds traffic. The plan fails as the diamonds are stolen (เพชรพันล้านถูกปล้น). Each leader suspects the other groups. Chat tells Phi Pat that Pracha is involved. Meanwhile, Chit (Sorapong Chatree) gives a letter to Pracha’s younger sister as he is not at home. Pracha is kidnapped. The sister suspects Chit. Chit promised to his mother to be a good guy as taxi driver and quits Pat's team. Phi Pat kidnaps his mother to force him to work for him. The sister visits Chit but she gets molested as he is drunk. He promises to take responsability of everything. Meanwhile Phi Pat’s business is failing again as some diamonds are stolen again. Phi Pat suspects Chat this time as Pracha is out of action. Meanwhile the sister storms Phi Pat’s house to release her brother Pracha but it fails. Phi Pat gets proof that Chat is a traitor so he storms his house but Chat succeeds to flee. Both Pat and Chat wish to get rid of each other. Phi Pat uses Chit to transport and exchange diamonds. Chat brings the mess and steals the diamonds thanks to a traitor (หักหลัง). The sister finally frees her brother Pracha. Pat asks Chit to get back the diamonds and to kill the traitor in order to get his mother released. Pracha and his sister succeed to release the mother and all together get rid of Pat and Chat. During decade 1990s Sorapong Chatree was still the main actor of some action movies targeted for countryside. Being 45 years old already, most of action scenes are played by other actors.

Thai movie กำนันเสือบางนกแขวก was released in year 1994 and lasts 1h28mn. It was released under cable TV. This movie is part of the last movies where Sorapong Chatree was still the main actor in Thai action movies. He was 45 years old already so Thai directors also tried to introduce new younger actors such as เผ่าพันธ์ พรพิสิฐ. Four ruffians commit a deadly robbery and flee by speed boat. Subdistrict headman Seua (Sorapong Chatree) chases them and shoots them. Young lady Manao is aggressed by Sia Lek. The village leader, her father, chases him. Teacher Rataya is also aggressed by Sia Lek and his teammates. New deputy district office (ปลัดอำเภอ) Han (เผ่าพันธ์ พรพิสิฐ) is nominated in this area. Surapon is a local leader. Boats have to pay a regular fee to him in order to be able to run business. A new bridge is going to be built so Sia Surapon tries to make it failed as it will jeopardize his business. Most of the villagers have debt with Sia Surapon (อิธิพลคุม). Han and Seua join to get rid of Sia Surapon. Subdistrict headman Seua forbids such illegal business. As retaliation, ruffians try to shoot him at nighttime. Sia Lek tries again to aggress Manao and the teacher Rataya but luckily Han and Seua help. Cheut and Phi Chit (Pao Porapak) have debts to Sia Surapon linked to their parents, who lost their land title, as they couldn't read the paper they sign. Sia Surapon hires Cheut to bomb the bridge. About to press the detonator, Cheut refuses as the teacher Rataya and children are crossing the bridge. Fighting erupts between Cheut and Sia Surapon's ruffians so Cheut has to flee. Cheut shares information about Sia Surapon’s dirty business with Han. Cheut is shot by Surapon’s ruffians and Han is captured but he refuses to join Sia Surapon. Sia Lek captures the teacher Rataya and Manao. Subdistrict headman Seua is aware. Subdistrict headman Seua and the village leader storm the hangar. The village leader is shot. Subdistrict headman Seua releases Han and then the two ladies. Subdistrict headman Seua and Han then face Sia Surapon's ruffians. Heavy shootings occur. Ruffians are neutralized.

Thai movie สารวัตรใหญ่ ของเขมราฐ was released in year 1994 and lasts 1h17mn. Fighting scenes are played in accelerated motion. Movie director is ก้อง ภูตวัน. Police catch ruffians dealing with war weapons. Policemen, who caught ruffians, are then killed by hitmen. Police inspector Tak (เผ่าไท พรพิสิฐ) is killed. Village is waiting for a new Police inspector. Three ruffians attack a lady merchant and his brother. Luckily Sorapong, passing by, helps them. He is looking for a job and is recommended to policeman Jakinsak. Chinese big businessman Hong is looking to buy the school land from headmaster (ครู) Yai but Yai refuses. Hong is involved in many dirty businesses (drugs, gold smuggling...). Sorapong is the new Police inspector but he doesn't disclose his identity. Jakinsak (ระวิน ชุมเกษียร) is suspected to divulge information to ruffians so Sorapong has to investigate on him. Sorapong befriends with Jakinsak and his sister. Kanya (ทัดดาว สกาวเดือน), Chinese big businessman’s daughter, is aggressed by two thugs working for her father but a young lad, called Sai and also working for her father, helps her. Later on, Sorapong helps Kanya as a thug steals her necklace. Sai betrays his regular associates and gives the drugs to Pao (Pao Porapak). Sorapong catches a thug selling drugs (ขายยา) and has to shoot him. Phi Eum is leading the ruffians' team and reports to Hong. Kanya proposes to Sorapong to work for her father Hong. Knowing that ruffians saw him, Sorapong declined the offer. Eum’s team plans to burn the school but it fails. Pao buys gold and resells it to Hong. Phi Eum’s men try to kill Sorapong (คนแปลกหน้า) but fail. Things turn worse when Eum kills Pao and Hong (เถ้าแก่) to steal the gold. Kanya is kidnapped. Sai tries to help but gets shot. Meanwhile Eum's ruffians shoot the headmaster Yai and kidnap Jakinsak's sister being a teacher. Alerted, Jakinsak and Sorapong follow ruffians and succeed to release the teacher. They force a ruffian to bring them to the ruffians’ campement. Seeing Kanya being captured, Sorapong tries to release her but ruffians see him. Shooting occurs between ruffians and Thai police. Sorapong and Kanya are injured but they succeed in getting rid of Eum. It is disclosed that Sorapong is the new police inspector (สารวัตรใหญ่) and Sai is also a policeman.

The movie title means "What a pity!". It shows the useless life of teenagers, who are addicted. Most of them come from problematic families. They start sniffing glue, then switch to heroin. Some girls are even selling their body to get money to buy drugs. Some die due to overdose. Whith their parents' help and not rejection, they can hope to go back to a standard life. This movie got 10 distinctions at Thai awards. Sia Dai 1 (about urban teenagers and drug abuse) earned more than 50 million baht, while Sia Dai 2 (about Aids and discrimination) brought in less than 10 million baht.

Thai movie Gunman 2 Salween / มือปืน 2 สาละวิน was released in year 1993. It lasts 2h14mn. It was released under VCD, DVD and VHS format. A beautiful HD remastered version is available as the 35mm film was digitised and shown in SF movie theatre in Bangkok in 2017. Movie director is ChatriChalerm Yukol. Main actors and actresses are Sorapong Chatree, Chatchai Plengpanich, Siricoup Methanee (สิรคุปต์ เมทะนี - son of famous actor Sombat Methanee), นพพล โกมารชุน, Ron Rittichai, Sor Asanajinda, Paweena Chareefsakul, Suchao Pongwilai, Chomchay Chatwilai, วิชุดา มงคลเขตต์. The movie got multiple Thai cinema golden awards (รางวัลตุ๊กตาทอง) in 1993, i.e. Best Film Award, Best Leading Actor for Sorapong Chatree, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Sound Recording. After WorldWar 2, Burma got its independence from England but the Karen minority problem was left unsolved. So an independence war between Karen and Burmese started. A young police officer, Danai (Siricoup Metanee), is going to the Salween river area by motorbike. It is the new police station officer (สถานีตำรวจ). He is coming from Bangkok and has no experience of such a difficult area, where there is no law and where only guns decide. He arrives when Sergent Ram (จ่าแร่ม)(Sorapong Chatree) is shooting drug traffickers in the village. Ram shoots dead an injured trafficker on the floor. Ram gets help from Tule, a Karen soldier, without knowing him. The head of traffickers, Somsak (นพพล โกมารชุน), is aware of the new police station officer. The new officer wishes his men to behave like real policemen. Ram has the bad reputation of never taking alive culprits. Ram has a daughter named Dok O. Somsak, being son of influential man (พ่อเลี้ยง) Sor (Sor Asanajinda), invites Danai to his father’s birthday party. Somsak is married to Kanda (Paweena Chareefsakul), a former Thai actress, who keeps drinking alcohol as her wedding is a failure. Head of the Karen (ชาวกะเหรี่ยง)(Suchao Pongwilai) and Tule (Chatchai Plengpanich) visit Somsak to get additional powerful weapons to fight against Burmese army, but Somsak asks the Karen people to transfer teak wood from Burma first. While walking in the forest around his area to visit the remote villages, Danai meets Sor, chasing butterflies. Sor and his son Somsak are playing a double game by being in contact with Burmese army also. Ram is also chasing ruffians who killed his wife many years ago. Danai is the son of a rich man, but Danai has chosen by himself to come to this remote area. Ram is trying to catch ruffian Seua, but Danai demands to come. Finally Danai decides to go without Ram. The mission is a fiasco and a few policemen are injured. Ram storms the place by using a bazooka. He even saves Danai’s life. Danai evolves and finally policemen are wearing local clothes suitable to local conditions. Danai is enamoured of Ram’s daughter, Dok O, being a teacher. Burmese army attacks the Karen villages. Karen soldiers succeed in pushing back the Burmese soldiers thanks to Tule using a bazooka. Burmese army attacks again using helicopters. Initially Thai police refuse Karen people to trespass on Thai soil, but seeing children in danger, they let all of them enter. It is a weird atmosphere to have peace on one side of the river and war on the other side. Tule is injured at the leg. Kanda is having a lover as her husband Somsak is gay. Somsak discovers this and shoots Kanda’s lover. A fight occurs between Kanda and Somsak. During the fight, she is accidentally shot by Somsak. She flees to the Police station and before dying, she says to Ram that Somsak shot her. Thai police storm Sor’s home but Somsak is no longer there. He has fled to Burma. Sor claims to Danai that Ram has a personal vengeance against his family due to Ram’s wife's death before. Thai Police decide to cross the border to catch Somsak. They storm his den and catch him, but they now have to come back to Thailand’s side. Ram’s daughter is kidnapped, but other policemen succeed in releasing her. She is joining them to go back to Thailand. Aware that Thai police are in Burma, Sor asks the Karen leader (Suchao Pongwilai) to help release his son. He promises to give stinger weapons to fight against helicopters. Tule is assigned to the task to release Somsak. Tule says goodbye to his wife as he believes he will not be back as Ram is a powerful opponent. He doesn’t want to go, but he has to do it for his people. Tule gives one chance to the Thai police to surrender as they help his people last time. There is no second chance. On the next day, fighting occurs between the two parties. Ram is shot by Tule. Before dying, Ram injures Tule seriously. The Thai police shoot Karen fighters, but Tule is still alive. He continues to chase them and kills the policemen one by one. Reaching the border, Tule stops Danai and Dak O bringing back Somsak in Thailand. Burmese army led by General Ron Rittichai appears. They shoot Tule being their fierce enemy. Soldiers leave and the Burmese general welcomes Somsak to go back to Burma as he has an arrangement with his father Sor! In a last gasp, Tule shoots the Burmese general before disappearing in the Salween river. Somsak runs towards Burma. Danai shoots him before he can flee. Somsak caused many good people to die. Salween is the river of death.

Border police led by Sarawat Sorapong Chatree is intercepting smugglers from Laos. Nawin (Likit Eakmongkol), navy officer (ผู้การ), is patrolling on a boat at the border between Laos and Thailand. Sorapong and Nawin often have to work together. Veteran actor Manop Aussawathep is head of navy soldiers. Beautiful landscapes are shown over the Mekong river being the border between Thailand and Laos. 7 molam songs are featured. Pim, molam singer in Laos, is kidnapped by ruffians. In fact Pho Im, head of ruffians (Krai Kanchit), gives to Pim's mother (Metta Roongrat) and Pim a deadline of two days for a wedding. Pol, who secretly loves Pim, helps her to flee in order to go to Thailand. Pim's father is a molam singer on Thai side (ฝั่งไทย). Choomporn Theppitak welcomes his daughter from Laotian side. Relief characters are people having similar face as famous actors Songthong. One of the other daughters Phan understands that Nawin has now more interest into Pim so she lets her new sister having happiness as she suffered a lot in Laos before. Action takes place in Amphoe Bong Chiem, most eastern part of Thailand. Pol follows up in Thailand and discovers that Nawin is also having interest in Pim. Pho Im decides to get back Pim from Thailand. Pol is disappointed and now works forcedly for Pho Im. He fails to bring back Pim to Laos as Nawin prevents him to do so. Another kidnapping tentative happens. Pol is captured by Nawin but finally stays at Choomporn’s house as he was forced by Pho Im to try to kidnap Pim. Romance starts between Pol and Pim’s Thai sister. Ruffians storm directly Choomporn’s house to abduct Pim. Shootings are exchanged. Ruffians are finally neutralized. Pim’s mother finally stay with Choomporn Theppitak as both Thai and Laos Mekhong river banks are inseparable. Movie สองฝั่งโขง is considered as a “small movie” (หนังฟอร์มเล็ก) dedicated for provinces audience.

Thai movie เจ้าพ่อทรหด was released in year 1992 and lasts 1h22mn. It was released under VHS format. It was produced by outdoor cinema Company Charoen (บริการหนังกลางแปลง เจริญการช่างภาพยนตร์) in Sri Saket. Owner was Mr Hom (คุณพ่อหอม โสระเวช). His company projected movies in outdoor places (Buddhist temple annual fair, family events...) and also produced movies for standalone theaters. They even produced a movie about Mr Hom, i.e. เจ้าพ่อทรหด featuring Sorapong Chatree and ดวงเดือน. At the end of the remaining 35mn film, there is a sequence featuring the real Hom (นายหอม โสระเวช) and his cinema company. The sequence is showing Mr Hom’s family, the vehicles projecting films, the huge projection screens... Mr Hom died on 14 October 2012. Hom started as a kid having a dream. With only 12 baht he started washing dishes in a noodle soup shop. Hom kept money until he could open a small business of repairing watches. Finally, he opened an outdoor cinema business. Unfortunately, business conflicts erupted and Hom was shot in the back. But he was not killed. He ended managing one of the most famous outdoor movies company in Isan region. Hom has a watch repair small business and outdoor cinema company in Sri Saket. Ruffians led by Padung are bringing trouble in the city. Minibus owners (รถสองแถว) have to pay an illegal fee (ค่าคิว) requested by ruffians but drivers refuse. Hom (ดวงเดือน) found Padung is involved in many illegal businesses. When Hom plays dice, he realizes game is tricked. Fighting happens as Hom accuses ruffians of cheating. Manit (Sorapong Chatree) helps Hom being outnumbered. Manit and Hom sympathize as Manit also has an outdoor movie company in Bangkok called Kulab Tip movies. Village Chom refuses to sell his land to ruffians. Padung (White Padungkan) intervenes and shoots him. Hom accuses Padung's ruffians to have killed Chom. Padung tries to recruit him and asks for a protection fee. Hom refuses and so becomes a troublemaker for Padung. A Molam orchestra event is organised by Hom. Drunken ruffians bring troubles. Hom is shot by Padung. Hom may not be able to walk again. He has to use wheelchair. Hom has a family. Bosom is Hom’s wife younger sister. Pradum decides to get rid of Hom by hurting his wife Rat. She is shot by a hitman during outdoor cinema performance. Manit comes to the funeral. Padung also comes to defy Hom. Padung's ruffian tries to kill Manit but he fails. Hom thinks about marrying Bosom. Padung hires Hom's outdoor cinema to perform in a Chinese cemetery to pay respect to ancestors. It is a trick as ruffians capture Bosom. Hom and Manit storm Padung’s place. Heavy shootings occur. Both Manit and Hom are seriously injured but ruffians are all killed. Hom and Bosom finally marry.

Thai movie สงครามเพลง แผน 2 was released in year 1990 and lasts 1h52mn. The movie was released under VHS format and VCD format. This musical movie is featuring real singers such as Sorapong Chatree (สรพงศ์ ชาตรี), Samart Payakaroon (สามารถ พยัคฆ์อรุณ), สุนารี ราชสีมา, หรั่ง ร็อคเคสตร้า, ทิพย์ ธรรมสิริ, Yodrak Salakjai (ยอดรัก สลักใจ). Movie director is Sayan Chantaraviboon. Yodrak and Note Chernyim are performing in an attraction park. Yodrak tries to protect lady Trirak (Trirak Rakkarndee) aggressed by ruffians led by Ping. Mat (Samart Payakaroon - สามารถ พยัคฆ์อรุณ) stops his Thai boxing match to help also. But Yodrak (Yodrak Salakjai) and Mat are fired from the attraction park for breaking rules. They end up in Pon's house. Pon (Sorapong Chatree) is Yodrak's old friend. Pon is a former singer, who had great success. He is now disabled. Pon had an accident. A car overthrown Pon and his girlfriend. Out of job, all friends have to do small jobs to earn money. Romance occurs between Su (สุนารี ราชสีมา) and Yodrak. Music producers conflicts occur between producer Ron Rittichai from Grand Opinion and producer Phanom (พนม) from Diamond Note as singer Rang invites Thip to sing on the stage. It is songs war (สงครามเพลง / สงครามธุรกิจ) between them. This rivalry causes singers to be enemies (ศัตรู). Singers cannot even contact each other such as Rang and Thip. As they have difficulties to pay debts, Pon is upset but he still is trying to sell his songs. Rang promises to help. Ping tries to aggress Thirak again. The friends have issues with Ping, Boo’s son, who threatens to burn Pon’s house as a revenge. Pon succeeds to sell two songs thanks to Rang’s help. Mat becomes a singer also. Phanom is helped by ธีรพงศ์ เหลียวรักวงศ์ to coerce Mat. Mat is too busy with work. The lady doesn't let him go back home. When back home, he found that Trirak is going to marry with one of the sons of Boo Wibunnan. Mat misses being an ordinary man as there is no rest when being a superstar singer. Finally, they get on well again. Grand Opinion Producer Ron decides to call back Pon. Pon has finished to write a song in honor of his deceased girlfriend. Young lady Thip (ทิพย์ ธรรมสิริ) has similar face as her and will be the one to sing this new song. A concert is organised to differentiate the two producers. Pon and Mat arrive by balloon. Thip sings Pon's new song. It is a huge success. Shooting happens as a revenge and Pon is shot (ถูกยิ่ง). The two producers accept to do peace to ensure Pon's death has a meaning.

Police, including Duang (Chat Mongkolchai) as policeman, and subdistrict headman Cheut prepare a plan to catch the drug dealers. Thanks to information given by Sophit, ruffians are killed and drug is seized. Mafia leader (พ่อเลี้ยง) Boonseum (Rith Luecha), father of Rith Luecha, is very upset with subdistrict headman Cheut (มึงกับกุเห็นกันดีแน่ๆ). Duangdeuan (นายหญิง) promises to take care of subdistrict headman Cheut herself (หน้าที่ของลูก) and kills him in a sudden attack. The younger brother of Cheut, Chat (Sorapong Chatree), comes back and plans to revenge his elder brother. Ruffians try to get rid of him but they fail. Boonseum wishes to use hitman Khao Yai (Somsak Chaisongkram). Khao Yai and his men attack Chat and he is left for dead. Hopefully village leader Duang helps him and his daughter Phakamat cures his injuries. They prepare a plan (สักวันต้องรับกรรมแน่). Sophit helps to hide Chat but then gets killed by Khao Yai for being a traitress. Chat kills Khao Yai and his men by himself. Fed up that others always fail, Duangdeuan decides to take care of Chat by herself. Going to Duang's house, she only finds Phakamat, who is then hurt and kidnapped. Chat has to help her while Duang is getting help from the police. Chat is an undercover policeman. The policemen and Chat storm the ruffians’ house while they are selling weapons to the country traitors. Heavy shootings happen as Duangdeuan has got a machine gun. Almost everybody die. Both Chat and Duangdeuan blow up each other with grenades.

He was killed by hitman Yiaw (เหยี่ยว) (Samart Payakaroon - สามารถ พยัคฆ์อรุณ, former Thai boxer). Naret is upset that his father was killed. He takes his father’s position. Oranut is Chen’s young wife. Thai police inspector Sukiet (สารวัตรชูเกียรติ)(Sorapong Chatree) is assigned to investigate the case. He is working with a singer, Nok, being an undercover policewoman. Some ruffian leaders are killed. The remaining leaders suspect Naret and Oranut. The leaders ask Yiaw to get rid of Naret and Oranut. Yiaw asks for 3M THB. A group of ruffians storm the house and shootings happen. Yiaw succeeds to flee and gets help from a young lady named Nuan (นวล)(Nahathai Pichitra - ณหทัย พิจิตรา). Nuan is friends with Naret. Sukiet warns the remaining leaders to work with him if they don’t want to die as they are part of a blacklist (บัญชีดำ). A young lady proposes 10M THB to Yiaw to change his mind and to kill his own sponsor instead of Naret. Yiaw refuses as he never betrays those who hire him first. Naret sends two Hong Kong hitmen to kill Yiaw, but they fail. Naret and his men discover that Nok is betraying them. Yiaw tries to kill Naret with a remote bomb, but it fails. The two remaining leaders decide to call Sukiet as they are afraid of Naret’s revenge. It is too late as Naret succeeds in killing them before the police arrive. Ruffians try to torture Nok to know with who she is working, but luckily Sukiet and the Thai police release her on time. Nok is only injured slightly. Naret refuses to leave overseas as he wants to get rid of Yiaw. Sukiet continues to put pressure on Naret by closing a gogo bar handled by his organization. Another hitman tries to get rid of Yiaw, but fails. White Padungkan and a second hitman, being former friends with Yiaw, also try to kill him. They both fail. Yiaw is now chasing Naret in his area, but Naret is waiting for him. Nang Nuan informs Sukiet and Nok where Yiaw and Naret are heading to meet. A duel is going to happen between them, but Sukiet intervenes. Finally Phao, being still alive, is the mastermind behind it. He shoots Sukiet, but Nok neutralizes Phao. Naret and Yiaw start to shoot each other. A mysterious lady shoots at them with the bazooka and both fall in the river. They are believed to be dead. A while later, Nuan brings Yiaw to a speedboat to flee. The mysterious lady tries to shoot Yiaw with a rifle, but Nuan saves him by shooting the lady, being Oranut! Naret is also still alive.

This Thai action movie was shot at a period where Hong Kong and foreign movies were very strong in Thailand. Many Thai actions had limited budget and were like type B movies. Mountain Lion is one of them. Decade 1990s was also the end of movie posters drawn by hand. Movie ชาติสิงห์ไอ้ฟ้าผ่า poster was one of the last ones to be hand painted. Shootings do occur in the forest. Sorapong Chatree is injured. Two young ladies including Yanee (Thida Thidarat) are chased by robbers (โจร). A few armed men, led by Phet, help Yanee. Phet and his men are looking for the cave Tantawan, which is said to contain jewelry. The robbers are also looking for the cave. Yanee brings her savers to the cave. They enter in the cave and find a hermit jade statue. Yanee brings them towards her village. They are attacked during nighttime. Two men are killed by arrows. Young lady Manoe meets Sorapong in the forest. She brings him to village Dok Mai Hom. On the way to the village, Phet and his men are attacked by ruffians led by Rith Luecha. Hopefully Sorapong helps them. Ruffians have to retreat. They arrive in the village Dok Mai Hom. Village leader’s right hand Bachi is unhappy to have strangers in the village. Romances occur between Sorapong and Yanee, between Phet (ชาตรี มณีวรรณ) and the village leader's daughter Takaew. Seeing Takaew and Phet together, Bachi tries to shoot him with a crossbow but he fails. Bachi pushes the village leader to give Takaew to him as wife. As village leader refuses, issues occur. Bachi quits the village to get additional help from Rith Luecha. Phet and his friends decide to stay in the village to help villagers against Bachi. Bachi knows Phet and his team have the jade statuette with them. Sorapong has to leave. Following an erotic dance, one of the men dies after visiting a villager lady at night time. He is killed by arrow. Bachi is suspected to be the shooter. The village leader asks Phet and his team to leave to avoid additional deaths. Bachi storms the village and follows Phet heading towards the forest. Phet and his team are all captured. Sorapong, feeling there is ongoing danger, goes back to the village and rescues Phet and his team. Rith and his team arrive also. Heavy shootings occur. Thai police also arrive. Ruffians are neutralized. The precious jade jewel, being a national heritage, is given to Thai police.

Phet (เพชร), former hitman (มือปืน), receives an offer of 100 000 baht to kill one man. He shall shot Kamrung (คำรน), rich (รวย) man with a high position (ระดับ). It is the last time he wants to be involved in such killing. With his brother Porn (พล), they take care of their old father. There is a land title issue so Phet needs money. Phet shots successfully Kamrung. He sees Sophi, Kamrung's mistress, and falls for her. Kamrung's daughter Yuwadee (ยุวดี) wishes to know the truth about her father’s death. The heritage needs to be shared between Sophi and the daughter. Porn, who is a journalist, helps her to investigate on the truth but a mysterious hitman tries to kill Yuwadee. Porn is able to help and save Yuwadee. It looks like Sophi would be the main beneficiary regarding Kamrung's death. Phet visits Sophi at nighttime. Heritage decision gives the house and land to Yuwadee but Sophi can stay until Yuwadee is married. The money and jewels have disappeared from the safe. The lawyer is corrupted by Sophi. Some ruffians put pressure on the newspaper editor to push Porn to stop investigating. Sia is the leader of the ruffians linked to Sophi. Sia hires Phet to kill his brother. Phet cannot do that and finally only the editor is shot in order to scare away Porn. Porn now knows his brother is involved. Sia sends ruffians to kill Phet as he cannot be trusted anymore but they fail. Sia's ruffians now try to kill Porn to stop the investigation. While rescuing his father, Porn is ambushed (วันนี้ตายแน่) but rescued by Phet. Sophi suggests to kidnap Yuwadee to catch the two brothers. Sophi plays men vs men (lawyer, Phet, Sia) using her charms. Porn needs Phet, the hitman, to testimony as a witness in order to accuse Sia. Yuwadee kidnapping fails thanks to Porn. The two brothers finally fight when they meet. Bad people pay for their sins as Sophi is shot by Sia and Sia is shot by Phet. There is a final duel between the two brothers and their father. Phet refuses to surrender to the police (ทำผิดต้องรับผิดชอบ) and prefers to die. Sorapong Chatree seldom plays the bad guy so it is interesting to watch this small low cost budget movie with a “Brother vs Brother” scenario, i.e. the good guy vs the bad guy even if Phet is only a bad guy forced by life circumstances (น้องมือปืน).

Thai movie โคตรอำมหิต was released in year 1989. It lasts 1h30mn. This Thai movie was only released under VHS format many years ago. It reminds of a Thai Rambo version. Phayu (Sorapong Chatree) and his men (ทหารรับจ้าง) are facing Vietnamese soldiers. They defeat them but have only three men left. Vietnamese army is led by Somsak Chaisongkram. Phayu is back to his village and helps a captain aggressed by ruffians. Those ruffians (กลุ่มนักเลง) attack his father's house claiming for a 20 years debt. Phayu is chased, gets injured and falls in the river. He is rescued by a villager and his daughter Surita (Duangdeuan Jithaisong). Villager Praka seems Phaya as a threat towards his love to Surita and is worried about enemy (ศัตรู) looking for Phayu. Somsak asks help from Rith Luecha and Chat Mongkolchai to find Phayu. Meanwhile three men wearing soldier’s clothes do a rampage in a village. One has same face as Phayu! Surita is worried if Phayu goes back to his village. Praka doesn't support Surita's interest in Phayu and tries to kill him by jealousy. Phayu’s parents and younger sister have all been killed by bandits (โจร). Revenge is mandatory for Phayu. The other man with similar face as Phayu is called Phayak and is in fact his elder brother. Praka brings the bandits to Surita's home. He dies while protecting Surita, who gets shot also. Phayak also dies. Phayu’s storms the ruffians’ camp. He places some hidden grenades on the way to his village as he knows ruffians will chase him. It ends in a bloody and deadly fighting.

Thai movie ฟ้าทลายโจร was released in year 1989 and lasts 1h32mn. It is available under VCD format released by Lepso company. It was renamed as ถล่มพระกาฬ by Lepso. As often with war movies from 1985 to 1995, it is very violent with a lot of blood to make it more realistic. Hanfan (Sorapong Chatree) and his men ambush a group of soldiers. By capturing a soldier, they can identify where the enemy camp is. Heavy fighting happens and many soldiers are killed on both side. Hanfan is the only survivor but he is also injured. He is rescued by villagers. Meanwhile ruffians led by Chat Mongkolchai storm the village. The men (โจรป้า) rape the girls and kill all inhabitants. Only two young ladies (including Duangdeuan Jithaisong) are left and are hiding in a cave inside the mountain with Hanfan. They help Hanfan but he wishes to go to the ruffians' camp in order to release some of his men (ทหารชุดดำ) held captive there. Somsak Chaisongkram is head of the camp and Pao Porapak is one of his soldiers. The doctor of the camp disagrees with Somsak's harsh methods. Hanfan kidnaps the doctor (ขายชาติ) to know where his men are held captive. Somsak, aware that Hanfan is still alive, sends his men to chase him. The soldiers find where the two young ladies are hiding and capture them. Meanwhile additional soldiers enter in the jungle but they fall in a trap. Only two survive and are captured. Somsak and his men torture the two ladies. Hanfan storms the place, releases them and kills Somsak. Hanfan releases the doctor but she is captured by Chat's team. Other ruffians led by Rith Luecha join them. The doctor is aggressed by two ruffians including Pao Porapak but Hanfan helps again on time. Rith tortures Hanfan’s soldiers. Disgusted, the doctor steals some documents for Hanfan. She is followed by Chat and other ruffians as they wish to track Hanfan. Fightings happen between Hanfan and the ruffians. They shot the doctor but Hanfan kills them all including Chat. Hanfan and two ladies storm the ruffians’ place to get rid of them. Severe fightings happen and the two ladies are killed. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Hanfan succeeds to get a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. All ruffians including Rith are killed.

Four men bloodily rob a bank and kill all guards and employees. They have long hairs. They are part of a mafia gang. Ayu (Sorapong Chatree), a former ranger, is arrested when buying medicine for his sick mother as he has also long hairs. He is accused without proofs and beaten by the Police to get his confession. He flees from the prison with another inmate Pao (Pao Porapak). They are chased by the police in the jungle. Two mafia groups also affront each other in the jungle. One group is lead by a young lady. She is injured but rescued by Ayu. Unfortunately Ayu arrives home too late. His mother is already dead. His teammate Pao is in fact a covered policeman who wants to trick the robbers. The mafia group kills Ayu's family members and catches him. The young lady is the daughter of the mafia group's boss that got killed recently. She spared Ayu's life. Ayu is rescued by the policeman Pao but he decides to take revenge over the mafia group. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Ayu carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. A butchery happens with heavy spurts of blood. All policemen are killed. Everybody dies including the mafia leaders and Ayu. Sorapong Chatree played in many serie B action movies in year 1989. In 1980s, action movies were still very popular and actors often carried machine guns in those films.

Thai movie เหยี่ยวพระกาฬ was released in year 1989 and lasts 1h23mn. Parts of the movie are censured. Some sexy scenes are present in the 35mm format release. It was released under VCD format by Lepso Studio company. Police decides to storm Arong's house knowing he is selling war weapons at the border. Following heavy fightings, Arong is injured but succeeds to flee. Young lady Feung Fa (Thida Thidarat) and her friend พี่ Tong are playing with knives when injured Arong arrives. Feung Fa is looking for a doctor. Meanwhile three ruffians shot her parents and Arong. One of the ruffians is injured. She wishes to find them and kill them as revenge. Ruffians continue their rampage as a lady is killed after a love scene. Feung Fa chases one of the three men and gets information on the two other men before killing him. Itti (Sorapong Chatree) wishes to help her but his motives are unclear. Ithit doesn't like such persecutors (รังแก) so he decided to help Feung Fa. Tong dreams of marrying with Feung Fa. He has the funny role (ตัวตลก) of supporting the leading actor Sorapong Chatree. Ruffian Seua Hin tries to neutralize Feung Fa but Ithit helps again. Feung Fa believes police cannot help as her village is in a remote place so it is lawless. Villagers needs to help themselves against the dark bad influence (อิทธิพล). A second killer is neutralized (ผีเฝ้าบ้าน). Feung Fa is still chasing Seua Hin, the third ruffian. Kham, the ruffians’ leader, supports him. Kham (Rith Luecha) likes Buatong, sister of Buakaew (Chutima Kawinla). It creates tension between the two sisters. Feung Fa tries to catch the third ruffian by herself. Ithit is in fact a police chief. Ithit finds where Kham is hiding and goes to get more help from police rangers. Meanwhile Feung Fa and Tong are captured. Ithit and the police rangers succeed to free Feung Fa following an usual gun fight. Kham and his ruffians are killed. Other actors and actresses featured are แอนด์นา, บรรพต, ทวน, พงษ์ไพร, ชีวิต,สกรรจ์, ทัศนีย์, โด้ง ลูกพ่อโต, เหม เวชยันต์ แสดงนำ.

Life's circumstance changes Lek's existence and forces him to kill 12 men. A few village headmen (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) have a meeting to decide who will be the next subdistrict headman (กำนัน). Current subdistrict headman Liem wants to push his own son to be his successor. His son is a local police officer. They use bad influence (อิทธิพล) to control the subdistrict. Village headman Naparn tries to oppose. Naparn has two sons, Lek (Sorapong Chatree) and Porn. One night village headman Naparn and Porn are killed. Subdistrict headman Liem hire a hitman (มือปืนรับจ้าง) to kill also Lek. During the funeral (งานศพ), the police officer asks Lek to follow the law (หน้าที่ของกฎหมาย). Lek decides to do his own justice as it will be too difficult to find proofs against a subdistrict headman backed up by a policeman son. The subdistrict headman Liem and one of his son are killed by Lek, who has to flee. The subdistrict headman Liem's second son is not killed as he is a policeman. Liem's ruffians team asks support to subdistrict headman Sing (Kanchit Kwanpracha). Various intimidation and murders are performed by the ruffians team. Lek's family members or friends are killed one by one. They were innocent. Lek cannot remain neutral (เป็นคนดีไม่ได้). Lek has no choice than to exit from his retreat. He shoots a few ruffians. Then Lek quits the province to find a new job. He gets a job in a sawmill (โรงเลื่อย) in Saraburi. The boss is a lady (Pumpuang Duangchan). As he saves her from a log accident, they become sweethearts (แฟน). The ruffians find his retreat. A first murder tentative fails. Understanding that the ruffians will never let him safe, he decides to get rid of them (ต้องฆ่าให้หมด) to solve this endless situation. Lek prays every evening as life's circumstance forces him to kill ruffians to protect people he loves. Lek refuses to become an official hitman as he will not kill people who didn't hurt him. He attacks directly the ruffians' HQ. Sing and the ruffians are afraid for their lives. They ask help from another subdistrict headman. Lek and his remaining friends decide to raid his house to get rid of them. Police arrives to separate both groups. Believing that Lek is injured, his wife hurries up to go there and convince him to surrender (มอบตัว). After a trial, Lek and his friends are condemned to life imprisonment but are finally released after 12 years in jail. The real Lek was then killed by a hitman in 1993.

Thieves (ผู้ร้าย) plan to rob a bank van. Pen (Sorapong Chatree) asks 40% of the gains. During the robbing, Pen is injured and left behind by his colleagues. He is captured by the police but other ruffians come back to shoot all of them to avoid leaving proofs behind. Mot (Chaiyan Sorakrai) is a policeman wishing to solve the bank robbers case. Pen flees from the hospital. Montri (Dam Datsakorn) is the ruffians leader. Pen has fight with his former colleagues and get support from Kum, his old friend. Later on, Kum gets beaten by Montri's ruffians. Kum is ready for revenge over Montri. Pen and Mot are brothers (สายเลือดเดียวกัน) so Mot is dismissed from this case by his superior. Mot wishes to catch his own brother. Pen did such job in order to pay studies for Mot, his younger brother. Pen didn't study high so he had to do such illegal activities to get money to pay for his young brother's education. Ruffians kill Pen's father as he refuses to disclose where his son is hiding. Police head uses a policewoman to make Montri fall. It is a failure and her life is saved thanks to Pen and Mot. Mot quits police. A mysterious informer keeps giving hints to the police woman. It is Mot pushing for this case to be solved. Surat is another ruffians leader behind. Pen protects Mot from behind. Montri is looking for fake money and contacts Surat. Police, ruffians, Mot and Pen all meet during the transaction. During final shootings, Pen sacrifices his life to save Mot. Mot finally understands that his brother was a good guy. This end of decade 1980s action movie is part of movies, where Sorapong Chatree getting older has to share the leading actor role with younger actors such as Chaiyan Sorakrai. Similar to Thai movie เพชรผ่าปืน (1990), Sorapong Chatree plays the bad guy forced by life circumstances and Chaiyan Sorakrai is his younger brother wishing to stop him.

Thai movie พยัคฆ์ภูพาน was released in year 1989 and lasts 1h29mn. It was released under VHS and also under VCD by Lepso Ltd Company. Ruffians are blocking the road to the market and are asking for a passage fee (ค่าผ่าน). A black man, called Cha, is beaten as he refuses to pay. In (Pipop Pupinyo), as restaurant owner, is married to Da (ยีนส์ ศุภมาส). Da's sister, Saeng, stays with them (น้องเมียกู่). Klong (Sorapong Chatree) is stopping by In’s restaurant to have a drink based on 12 fresh eggs! He is selling coffins (ขายโลงศพ) because he heard many people are dying in this area! A fighting with ruffians happens as they ask him to leave the area. Local kingpin Nai Chawaen has bad business reputation. He is assisted by White Padungkan. Another ruffians' team is led Kraison and assisted by Pao Porapak. Nevertheless, both ruffians' teams meet for business. They suspect a third party is involved as business disruption is occurring. Saeng (มาริษา อุดมพร) is aggressed by ruffians asking for protection fee. Klong helps her. A romance starts between Saeng and Klong. One night, ruffians storm In's restaurant to kidnap his wife and sister in law. Klong helps again. Cha's uncle is shot by white's team. White puts the blame on Klong so that Cha wants to take revenge. Cha joins White's team. Paorak warns Klong proactively so Klong joins his team. Kraison is looking left-hand (มือซ้าย) to support him as he has already a right-hand (มือขวา) through Pao Porapak. Another money drugs exchange occurs between the two groups but it ends up with shootings again. Klong pushes them against each other. Nai Chawaen finally gets both money and drugs. Saeng and her sister Da are kidnapped to attract Klong. Meanwhile Kraison's team wishes to take profit to attack Chawaen's team. In brings additional support with policemen. Final battle occurs. Ruffians are all killed. Cha is also killed during the fightings. The area is now safe with both ruffians' team being neutralized.

Rhanee (Jarunee Sooksawad) comes back from studying overseas. Her father is dead (it is in fact a picture of Mitr Chaibancha wearing Insee Daeng mask!) since many years but she takes over his duties by punishing and killing bad ruffian heads as a justiciary. Police inspector (สารวัตร) Decha (Sorapong Chatree) is responsible to catch Insee Daeng. Insee Daeng wishes to catch the heads inside the ruffians circle including Suphon (น้าใหญ่) (Kanchit Kwanpracha) and Lak Apichat. Suphon already faced Insee Daeng 20 years ago. Insee Daeng is fast and difficult to catch (มันไหวเหมือนพายุ). Decha uses one of the ruffians head as a bait to catch Insee Daeng. Decha doesn't shoot Insee Daeng as he has plan to use him as a way to reduce bad influence (อิทธิพล). Another trial to catch Insee Daeng by Decha fails. Meanwhile Decha tries also to stop organised mafia but without full success. Rhanee is working for Krissana, owner of insurance company and close friend of police inspector Decha. She takes opportunity to dispatch messages to the police through Krissana. Decha puts police woman Mot to protect Krissana against the mafia but he finally gets kidnapped. A 3M baht ransom is requested. Despite ransom payment, Krissana is still not freed and is tied to a railway path. Insee Daeng threatens a ruffian to get Krissana location. Police is warned and Krissana is released following shootings with ruffians. Insee Daeng succeeds to escape once again despite Mot’s opposition. Ruffians receive a new task to explode a bridge over Chao Praya river. Decha succeeds to put a microphone inside Suphon's home so is aware of their plans. Decha succeeds to neutralize part of the ruffians but Insee Daeng is the one stopping the bombs and killing the leaders. The bridge is safe. The movie ends with a nationalist image on Thai flag. This movie อินทรีผยอง (1988) tries to relaunch Insee Daeng serie but it lacks a good film directing. There is high suspicion that part of the movie has been cut by Lepso. Sorapong plays the police inspector with magnum 357 and dark glasses similar to many other 1980s movies he played in.

Thai movie ทอง ภาค 3 / The lost idol (1988) lasts 89 minutes. Chalong Pukdeewichit is same director as previous sequels. A company of American soldiers is lost in Cambodia in 1975. They face Vietcong attack. They find a Brahma statue made of pure gold. The company carries it and their leader Oliver decides to hide it until the war is over. He betrays his own soldiers by shooting them but one, called Kirt (Erik Estrada), succeeds to flee despite being injured. The leader Oliver believes they are all dead. Meanwhile Red Khmer soldiers led by Sorapong Chatree are still chasing the US soldiers. They shoot Oliver and take for granted that he is dead. Kirt derives on a tree trunk and young Thai lady Lamyai helps him. He recovers and decides to stay with Lamyai. Meanwhile Oliver receives a promotion, a US medal and decides to go back to Thailand. He meets Catherine, his girlfriend, who is a US doctor working at the Thai Cambodian border. Colonel (ผู้พัน) Oliver asks Don (Likit Eakmongkol) to build a team in order to get back the statue from Cambodia. Part of this team are Krung Srivilai and Rith Luecha present in previous opus but with different roles. Christopher (Christoph Klüppel) is also part of the team. He was selected by Chalong Pukdeewichit thanks to his impressive bodybuilding. 1M baht is promised for each. Half now and half when the job is completed. Another group is following Oliver also. They threaten Katherine to get information. To force Kirt to join his team, Oliver kidnaps his daughter. Kirt has to accept to lead them through the Thai Cambodian border as it is full of mines. Meanwhile Katherine is going to Cambodian side to help poor people per her previous promise to Sorapong. It reminds the real story of Phanom Rung lintel stolen during Vietnam war and given back to Thailand in year 1988. Sayan Chantaraviboon and Apiradee Pawaputanon are part of the Red Khmer army. Sorapong's men are all killed during an embuscade and Katherine is captured. The Vietnamese soldiers wish to know why Oliver is back. Despite being tortured, Oliver refuses to speak. Kirt tells the Vietnamese about the gold statue (เทวดารูปทองคำ). The Vietnamese leader (นพพล โกมารชุน) plans to bring it back to Vietnam. One Cambodian man warns Sorapong that this statue belongs to Cambodian heritage and that it should stay here. They attack the truck convoy and the mercenaries free themselves. Sorapong asks mercenaries to join his team if they want to spare their life. If they survive, they will get freedom. The Khmer soldiers and the mercenaries attack the Vietnamese camp. Heavy fightings happen as Vietnamese soldiers have tanks. The Vietnamese leader succeeds to flee with the golden statue through an helicopter. Oliver sneaks in also. The statue finally falls in the lake and the helicopter crashes in the mountain. Chalong Pukdeewichit uses same recipe as previous sequels, i.e. famous Thai actors to be able to attract Thai audience and quite famous foreign actors to attract overseas audience.

Thai movie ฟ้าสั่งข้ามาเกิด was released in year 1988. The movie was never released in Thailand but a remaining sequence in Hmong language is lasting 1h07mn. So it is difficult to understand the detailed story. The image has a poor VCD copy quality. Sorapong Chatree is carrying wood on his back in the mountains. Sorapong is a former soldier. Five men dressed as rangers / militants arrive in the mountain village and are talking to the village headman as they are looking for Sorapong. As they cannot get proper information about Sorapong, they harass his wife (ศิรินันท์ โรจนธรรม) and his son. Sorapong arrives and beats the 5 men away. Their leader is Chat Mongkolchai. Among Chat’s team, there are also Rith Luecha and Pipop Pupinyo. This time, Reut brings more men in the village and they hurt the village header to make him talk. Sorapong kills a few men to help the villager header. Sorapong and his family are then chased by ruffians in the mountains. They arrive in another village but are captured by some villagers led by Somsak Chaisongkram. Sorapong has to accept a one to one fighting with spade as shown on the movie poster. He defeats two opponents. Later on, Sorapong storms the ruffians place to get back a statuette requested by Somsak Chaisongkram. Ruffians storm the village but Somsak Chaisongkram helps Sorapong's wife to flee. Per the deal, they let Sorapong and his family go. Sorapong defeats four men wearing black clothes. His wife is injured. Somsak Chaisongkram tries to stop Rith and his men but gets killed. Fleeing again, Sorapong and his family are arrested by other villagers. Luckily the leader is an old friend of Sorapong. Rith and his men storm the village again. Sorapong has to flee one more time. The remaining sequence ends up here. This movie reminds The Mountain Lion (เสือภูเขา) movie released in 1979.

Thai movie ชาติอำมหิต was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h33mn. It was released under VHS and VCD formats. Sorapong Chatree plays a role similar to a Thai Rambo. A lot of shooting and bloody fightings occur in this war movie. Trafficker Pao Porapak tries to break a weapon deal with Somchai but it fails and he gets killed. Thai soldier Pleung (Sorapong Chatree) is back to his home but Chat Mongkolchai and his men are waiting for him. They ask for a military code. Young Lady Dawee (Duangdeuan Jithaisong) and her brother Somchai are back to their village and face forest bandits (โจรป่า) attacking the village. Her father is Kanchit Kwanpracha. Dawee wishes that the villagers move to a new place but her father refuses. Chat and his men torture Pleung to get the code as he refuses to disclose it. At nighttime, a villager helps Pleung to flee. Chat's men chase Pleung but it is not easy as he is used to fight in the jungle. He kills many of them one by one. While fleeing, Pleung faces the forest bandits again and they chase him. Dawee is around at that time and a misunderstanding occurs as Pleung believes she is part of the forest bandits. They understand they have a common enemy (ศัตรูเดี๋ยวกัน). Chat and Rith Luecha, Somsak Chaisongkram meet in their main camp. Upset that Pleung succeed to flee thanks to Dawee, the forest bandits storm her village and kidnap her father. Aware, Pleung and Dawee prepare a plan. They put some explosive around the ruffians' camp and succeed to release the father and Somchai. Very heavy fightings and explosions occur. Pleung, as expected, is using a heavy machine gun. Most of protagonists die except Pleung and Davee.

Thai war movie 5 มนุษย์เหล็ก / Brave and cruel was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h21mn. It was released under VHS format and also VCD format by Lepso Studio company. Movie director is Payoong Payakul. This movie was also released internationally under the name “Hell Hunters” by Filmark production. It was then mixing sequences from the Thai movie and original sequences shot in Hong Kong. Hell Hunters VHS lasts 1h18mn. IFD and Filmark used to buy uncut / unrated negatives that included alternate versions / shots, nudity and similar topics because they used those movies for international markets where censorship was different. Hell Hunters include nudity scenes removed from Thai VHS. Captain (ผู้กอง) Leuat (Sorapong Chatree) is leading Thai soldiers including Pao Porapak. They are attacked and have to retreat. Five soldiers are left only and they don’t have radio to ask for help. Mapree (Thida Thidarat) brings her mother, who is injured following village attack. She meets doctor Phairoj Jaising and nurse Chutima Kawinla. They plan to go back to the village to take care of other injured villagers. On the way to the village, the five soldiers stop the van and share it to reach village Nong Prai. All villagers are dead. The five soldiers accept to chase the attackers guided by Mapree and to release the missing villagers. Three foreigners, met on the way, join them, i.e Kellyann Kelly, David Klaper, Bernard Hindenberg. These three foreigners are not famous actors. It reminds "Gold" / "ทอง" movies by movie director Chalong Pukdeewichit. They also always included foreign actors but they were famous actors and the movies budget was much higher than “5 มนุษย์เหล็ก". The attackers storm another village. The foreigners' Thai families have been killed. Leuat needs to go with his men to a ralliement point. Through the small van, they continue their journey towards the attackers. The ralliement point is also attacked by the ruffians. Thanks to Mapree, they find where the attackers are staying. Despite being a small number, they decide to attack the ruffians. Thanks to a radio found at the ralliement point, they ask for renfort. Attackers are aware of this as they spy the radio waves. Heavy fighting occurs. The Thai soldiers win but one of them dies to protect his country (รักษาแผนดิน).

Nin is a young lady coming from a rich family. At night time, she transforms herself in a mysterious executioner (เพชฌฆาต) to kill some mafia leaders (คนเลว). A rose is left as a signature (ดอกกุหลาบสีชมพู). The policeman Chatri is satisfied that bad ruffians (ผู้ร้าย) are neutralized but he needs to catch the executioner according to the Thai law. Nai Pratum is head of a big mafia ring (วงใหญ่) dealing with weapons trade (อาวุธสงคราม). Nin disrupts his activities. Chatri meets Nin but ignores that she is the mysterious executioner. Chot is Nin's best friend but he wishes to become her husband. Nin refuses as she values more Chatri (ผมจะขอวันนั้น). Nin gives hints to Chatri to stop the ruffians. Nai Pratum recruits two hitmen to kill Chatri. They only succeed to injure him. Nai Pratum takes his order from a mysterious boss (เจ้านาย). Nai Pratum orders to kill another mafia leader and accuse Nin by leaving a rose on the premises. By kidnapping Chatri, Nai Pratum forces Nin to reveal her real identify in order to save Chatri. The mysterious leader is Chot, the unlucky lover. As expected, bad ruffians are defeated. It is a typical 1980s action movie that is only worth due to a few stars acting (Sorapong, Marsha and Manop). Marsha is really a precursor of Thai modern actress Yanin Vismistananda in martial arts fight.

Chat (Sorapong Chatree) and Thanong (Sombat Methanee) are mafia members (นักเลง) and friends. Thanong is a mafia head (เจ้าพ่อ). There are always internal fights with other mafia leaders. Nancy (Apiradee Pawaputanon) is Chat's girlfriend. Chat and Thanong are dressed like Chicago gangsters and are always smoking cigars. Thanong's younger brother, Rut, is a policeman but he is not fully aware about his brother’s activities. Pen (Pumpuang Duangchan) is a nurse. Thanong likes her a lot (นักรัก). Thanong wishes to change his job but he cannot leave his subordinates (ลูกน้อง). Thanong asks Pen for wedding. A shooting happens during the wedding but none is injured. Chat escapes to Shing, who is now a traitor and wishes to get rid of Thanong to take his position (บ้าอำนาจ). Thanong, through a Typical Rambo 2 scene with big guns, wishes to punish Shing. Thanong is captured by the police following a rampage at Shing’s home and sent to jail. Chat needs to send Nancy away so that he can handle the situation. She is finally killed. Chat wishes to revenge her. There is a famous scene featuring a killing rampage by Chat in a restaurant with guns hidden in each flower pot. Three years have passed. Thanong is released from prison but he doesn't want to return to underworld mafia. Chat was injured to the ankle so he cannot walk properly anymore. Chat is now a car glass washer. Without their boss, Thanong’s men are wrecked (กูรอมึง). Thanong is accused of Rut's sister murder. Rut is upset because his brother is a ruffian (เป็นพี่เป็นโจร) so his management doesn't trust him. Thanong’s men including Chat are disappointing that Thanong wants to be out of mafia business (วางมือจากวงการ) and doesn’t want to give a lesson to Shing. Shing wants Thanong to be back in business as partner but Thanong refuses. Shing’s men beat severely Chat and also threaten Rut to convince Thanong to change his mind. Chat succeeds to get proofs regarding Shing’s illegal activities. Those proofs are given to Rut. Before fleeing, Chat and Thanong wish to face Shing a last time for an ultimate revenge. It is the last movie where Sombat Methanee had the leading role. This Thai movie is based on the Hong Kong movie “A Better Tomorrow” (1986) shot by John Woo. The scenario is very similar. It involves strong action and some comedy. Sorapong Chatree plays same role as Chow Yun-Fat. The movie is entertaining but the realisation is not as good as the one from John Woo. The end of the movie is very weird. It stops abruptly when Thanong is going to face Shing. Thanong is expected to die. There is unfortunately a weird movie abrupt ending.

Tongchai (Rith Luecha) is the leader of a ruffians team terrorizing the local district. Villager Tasuk is killed because he was on government side regarding illegal logging concessions instead of being on ruffians’ side. Tasuk and his family are killed except one of his daughter, Asunee. The subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Sit and the village headman (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) are also on the ruffians’ side. Sing is Tasuk’s son. He just gets released from prison and visits the Thai Buddhist temple abbot first before going back to his village. The abbot gives him a sacred Buddha amulet (Lamphun Daeng - ลำพูนแดง). But Sing needs to use it wisely. He goes back to his village but nobody dares to tell him the truth about his parents death (ไม่กล้า) as they are afraid of the ruffians. Before Sing had another sacred amulet (Lamphun Dam - ลำพูนดำ) but it was taken away when he was sentenced to jail. The ruffians decide to get rid of him but it fails as bullets cannot hurt him (ยืงไม่เข้า) thanks to the sacred amulet (ของดี). The ruffians visit the abbot to know if a sacred amulet has been given to Sing. Usanee is under the district officer’s (นายอำเภอ) protection. But proofs are missing to accuse the killers. The ruffians want to get rid of Asunee before she can meet her brother. They kidnap her. Police officer (ผู้กอง) and the district officer ask Sing to wait for more proofs but he decides to act first. He steps inside Sit's house and releases Asunee following a deadly fight with Sit. Asunee is shot and seriously injured. Sing now knows the truth about his parents' death. Police is now looking after Sing. They succeed to escape to the Police as the Buddha amulet makes them invisible. His sister dies as she lost too much blood. Sing wishes to seek revenge. Ruffians continue to terrorize the local population. Chiwin, daughter of district officer, and Sing love each other. He visits her for her birthday party and fails to shoot Tongchai. Sing takes revenge over the village headman. Tongchai starts to be worried for his own security. The ruffians capture Chiwin. While trying to release Chiwin, Sing is captured by Sing's ruffians. The police believes Tongchai is involved so enters his camp. Sing, thanks to the sacred amulet, takes profit to flee. Sing steps inside Tongchai's home, releases Chiwin and kills Tongchai. As promised to Chiwin, Sing surrenders to the police. Movie Lamphun Daeng - ลำพูนแดง was shot in 1988. Previous sequel Lamphun Dam - ลำพูนดำ was shot in 1983. This movie features sacred amulets. Most Thai people believe that wearing around the neck a Buddha holy amulet protects them from anything.

Thai movie คู่แค้นปืนเดือด was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h24mn. It was released under VCD format by Lepso Studio, but only lasted 1h16mn. The YouTube version by Phranakornfilm Classic lasts 1h24mn. The movie director is สุวิชา มีแสงเงิน. It is a small action movie from the end of the 1980s. Sorapong Chatree and Krung Srivilai were the main actors and already in their forties, so the movie was not as punchy as Thai action movies from the 1970s. Ruffian's leader Amnat (Chat Mongkolchai) wishes to buy land to build a big domain. His men storm a village and kill villagers as they refuse to sell their land. Next one is the subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Pliu, who also refuses to sell land to the ruffians. Threatening does happen. Don (Krung Srivilai) is living with Paen (สุนารี ภุมมา), a jealous lady, but she is upset as he keeps drinking (ขี้เมา) and doing nothing. The subdistrict headman Phayak (Sorapong Chatree)(มือปราบที่จับตายทุกคน) gets rid of three ruffians. Meanwhile two men come to defy Don, but they get defeated and die. Phakak is upset that since Don is around, around 20 people died. Don loved young lady Pot (Duangdeuan Jithaisong) before, but he is now heartbroken as she loves Phayak (แฟน). Paen is aware that a ruffian, named So and just released from prison, is heading towards the district to get revenge (คิดบัญชี) over Phayak. Don informs Phayak. The subdistrict headman Paen (Paen Pleumsachai), friend with Amnat, hires So to kill Phayak. Pot tries to convince Don to change, but he refuses. Ruffians storm the restaurant where Phayak often goes. They threaten Phayak as they outnumber him. Phakaj doesn't carry weapons. Hopefully he gets help from Don, capturing Amnat. Ruffians leave the district. Meanwhile Don finds out that his wife Paen is cheating on him (อี๊สาวเลว) with one of Amnat's ruffians. Don doesn't shoot him as he doesn't want to be chased away from the district by Phayak. So storms the school where Pot is a teacher. Phayak neutralizes him. Ruffians see Don as a weak drunkard. Don punches ruffians showing them that they shall not insult him (แมงดา). The subdistrict headman Pliu tries to manage the ruffians with his team, but fails. Many men die. Phayak wishes for revenge and to close this conflict with Amnat. Pon insists on joining and Don also joins them. Amnat's son is found drunk as he doesn't want to go the way of his father. Phakaj brings Amnat's son to Amnat's house and gives him a letter. Phayak's responsibility now extends to cover territory from Amnat. Paen feels upset to have betrayed Don. Ruffians decide to storm Phayak's place. They use grenades to kill their adversaries. All die except Pot, being injured. Don finds Paen and understands she knows about the plan, but didn't warn anyone. While blaming Paen, Don has a stroke due to excessive abuse of alcohol. Phaen takes care of him. Amnat asks for a one-to-one duel. Phayak decides to go. Fighting erupts as it is a trap. Don comes to help. Shooting happens between ruffians and Phayak’s team. Don kills Amnat in a final duel, but gets severely injured. He finally recovers. Don and Phaen are back together.

Thai movie พายุยางแดง lasts 1h26mn and was released in year 1988. It is available under VCD format. Captain (ผู้กอง) Phayu (Sorapong Chatree) meets Chiaw (Lak Apichat), a military instructor (ครูฝึก), and Priaw (Chaiyan Sorakrai), who is a pickpocket. Village leader Cheui refuses to sell his house to ruffians. Chiaw is his son but he didn't go back home for years. Palat (Kanchit Kwanpracha), subdistrict headman Chat Mongkolchai, Ai Saen (Rith Luecha), head of local ruffians, are working together. Ai Saen sends his men to teach village leader Cheui a lesson (สังสอน) but they finally kill him and his elder daughter. The younger daughter, being a teacher, promises to revenge. Priaw informs Chiaw that his father was killed. Chiaw steals some military weapons and flees to revenge his father. Informed by his management, Phayu has to bring him back and to silence this story. Chiaw steals (ปล้น) a car containing money belonging to Ai Saen. Palat (Kanchit Kwanpracha) has to get it back. In Thai movies, the mafia boss is often called Sia / เสี่ย. Ai Saen (Rith Luecha) requests help from corrupted police. The subdistrict headman is the one who killed village leader Cheui. Pen asks Priaw to stop gambling. Chiaw, Priaw, Pen and the subdistrict headman's stepdaughter forms a team together. Phayu asks Police head to give them time as he trusts Chiaw. Chiaw decides to get information from the subdistrict headman's girlfriend. This one starts to be very friendly with him (part censored or cut from VCD). The subdistrict headman Chat comes back and Chiaw is captured. He succeeds to flee by kidnapping Palat's daughter. Ai Saen is upset (อย่าประมาท). As Ai Saen orders to shoot the car despite there is Palat's daughter inside, it causes Ai Saen and Palat to become enemies. Chiaw hits Palat to revenge his father but Phayu and the daughter convince him to let Police do its duty. Palat tells them that Ai Saen a is preparing to betray his country. The team storms the ruffians’ den. Pen is used as hostage (ตัวประกัน). The movie ends up with fierce fightings. Palat and Priaw die. Ai Saen is killed. The two actresses are วาสนา วรรณวงศ์ and มาริษา อุดมพร.

Thai movie สวย...เหี้ยม was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h37mn. It was released under VCD (1h37mn) and VHS format (1h33mn). Movie director is เสนอ คราประยูร. Young lady Pat (Jarunee Sooksawad) is out for taekwondo training. A piece of land is sold by her mother to build a school. Three young men steal the money from the mother and stab her. White Padungkan, as policeman, is investigating. Leader Amphon flees while Pat kills the two other men as revenge. White is chasing two men involved in the robbery. One succeeds to flee. Pat decides to go to Chiang Mai to rest a while and also to chase the third man Amphon. She meets her old friend Kaew (สุนิสา คราประยูร), being Klong's sister (Sorapong Chatree). Ruffians' leader In (Chat Mongkolchai) has issues with Klong as he refuses to sell land to them. In is upset as Klong challenges his authority. Kaew promises to help Pat (ล้างแค้น). While wandering near a waterfall, three men belonging to In fail to kill them. Thanong, Kaew’s friend, tries to declare his love to Kaew. Amphon, being In's young brother, is seen by Pat in Chiang mai. Ruffians follow them also (ตามไป) but fail to catch them. Thanks to an indication from Thanong, Pat and her friends storm a house where three ruffians are resting. White arrives in Chiang Mai. They chase after In preparing a drug deal exchange involving Paen Pleumsachai. Police brought by White intervenes. Ruffians flee. Finally, they are killed or captured by Klong, White, Kaew and Pat. Kaew is injured. As expected, Klong is an undercover policeman! Such kind of action movies was reaching its end of popularity in 1988 being outperformed by thrilling action movies from Panna Rittikrai.

Thai movie มือปืน 2 ไอ้มือดำ was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h45mn. It was released under VCD format by Rose company and features a sharp and colorful image. The scenario has many similarities with movie มือปืน 1 released in year 1983. ผู้กอง Aklai (Chatchai Plengpanich) is a traitor. He is selling M16 weapons to ruffians and rebels. Meanwhile Thai soldiers led by Sorapong men are facing striking attacks from rebels. A helicopter is rescuing the survivors. Sorapong, injured in the leg, is left behind as Uat (Ron Rittichai) abandons him. Four years passed. Aklai is now renamed as Sutham and he is trying to rob an illegal casino. Former head of ruffians Somchai is now a politician and a mafia leader (เจ้าพ่อ). Uat is married with Soma (Jarunee Sooksawad). Uat is now a famous policeman called ไอ้มือดำ as he is wearing a black glove when shooting ruffians. He is very busy with his work and he has never time for his wife Soma. Sutham wishes to become rich so he accepts to be a hitman for Somchai but increases his price each time. Uat waits for proofs (หลักฐาน) to arrest Sutham. Sorapong succeeds to escape from Burma and stays in a Thai farmer family near the border. Having happiness there, he asks for lady Lampoei's hand. Meanwhile Sutham becomes the new mafia boss by getting rid of Somchai. Lampoei is pregnant. Sutham is having issues due to war between mafia bosses. Uat is also causing troubles to Sutham. A hitman injures Uat causing Soma to be very upset as this warning doesn’t hamper Uat to slow down. Sorapong brings Lampoei to Bangkok. As the pregnancy is getting worse, a cesarean operation (ผาตัด) is needed but Sorapong doesn't have enough money. Then he has to gamble his life to get money. Despite having lost, the casino owner Sutham lets him go and even gives him money as they know each other. Sorapong has now a moral debt with Sutham and is used by him as a hitman. A child is born but Lampoei dies. Fed up, Soma finally leaves home and she sympathizes with Sutham causing Uat to be very upset. Other mafia leaders kill Sutham’s mother and relatives during a birthday. He is left for dead. He then storms a diner gathering the mafia leaders to get revenge. Uat intervenes also. A final striking scene occurs between Sorapong, Uat and Sutham. Sorapong as hitman has to choose between shooting Uat or Sutham, between a man who abandoned him among Burmese soldiers or a man who betrayed his country...

Thai movie พลอยทะเล was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h55mn. Movie director is famous director Cherd Songsri. Sorapong Chatree with his short haircut, killing smile and strong body really shines and plays in a great movie compared to the many average action flicks he played in 1980s. Happiness is present on a small island between Kratin (กระถิน), young lady (Sinjai Hongthai), and Rung (รุ่ง) a young man (Sorapong Chatree). They love each other but any wedding decision is linked to their parents. Kratin’s parents reject this love. Rung is a diver, collecting seashells and fishies for a living. The movie shows nicely life of island, people collecting coconuts thanks to monkeys, collecting eggs from giant turtles. Beautiful landscapes are shot. Kratin is jealous of Sangpao (สำเภา), another young woman (Chanutporn Wisitsopon) that Rung considers as a sister only (น้องสาว). As Kratin's parents cannot accept such love and wedding, they consider fleeing to the city. While diving, Rung finds a red pure gem (พลอยทะเล, น้ำดี). He plans to sell it to cure his mother (Juree Osiri) but makes the mistake to show it to another villager, father of Kratin. This one and his sons, arguing that Rung behaves badly with his daughter, try to kill him to steal the gem. Rung gives the jewel to Kratin and fights back. In front of Kratin's eyes, he is left for dead. He is only injured and succeeds to reach his mother's home where Sangpao rescues him. Kratin is sent to the city. She meets Sieng, the fishery lady boss (นาย)(Aranya Namwong), who recruits her as domestic helper. Rung recovers slowly and is still upset that the gem is not anymore with him. Sangpao takes care about Rung. A love story is about to start but it doesn’t bloom as Rung and Sangpao still have Kratin in mind. Kratin really believes Rung is dead so she is sad. Sieng’s brother, Samrien (Witoon Karuna), likes Kratin a lot and starts to seduce her. They become lovers. Kratin shows him the gem. Samrien decides to keep it until their wedding in order to avoid it is stolen by somebody else. One day, Sangpao finds Kratin in the city and informs her that Rung is not dead. Samrien refuses to give back the gem, refuses to let Kratin go and promises her that she will become the fishery owner. The movie shows the fishery work from a cultural point of view. It is bad fate (เวรกรรม) that Kratin saw Rung dead but now it is too late as she needs to have gratitude over the boss and her family. Finally Rung discovers the truth about Kratin and Samrien. Sangpao has to intervene to avoid Rung becoming violent. Sangpao and Kratin have arguments as Kratin cannot give the gem back. Rung also asks Kratin as he needs to cure his mother but she tries to manipulate him. Samrien refuses to give it back to Rung as he believes half of it belongs to him. The fisherman, who brought Rung and his mother to the city, asks for his money but Rung cannot pay him as he hasn't got the gem yet. During a fight the mother is stabbed and dies. A big storm is now happening. Samrien is endangered on a boat. Kratin asks Rung to help Samrien as his boat is stuck. Samrien encourages him not to go but Rung accepts as he is kind hearted so he releases the boat but disappears in the sea. Countryside people have often bigger heart than city people. This gem has caused many people to die. In the morning, the sea sends back Rung’s body. He is still alive and Sangpao had been waiting the whole night for him praying. Kratin finally finds Rung stranded on the beach. They promise love to each other. Kratin goes back to Samrien’s home to get the gem from a safe but it is no longer in the box. Rung doesn’t care about it anymore but Kratin refuses to follow him as she doesn’t want to live poorly on the island. It causes Rung’s ire as it shows she is more interested by the gem than Rung. He understands that only Songpao really loves him. Sangpao is the one, who gets the gem. A fight between Samrien and Rung occurs as Samrien still wants the gem. Rung defeats him and decides to go back to his island. Sangpao goes back with him. Samrien breaks up with Kratin. Rung sends the gem back in deep sea.

One important political man is responsible of a forest illegal logging. His tough men threaten villagers living close to the forest. Three men, including two former policemen, are helping to get rid of the tough men.

Thai movie ปล้นข้ามโลก / Faithful Spirit / 手足情 was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h36mn. It is a Hong Kong Thai coproduction. A VHS was also released in Japan and lasts 1h30mn featuring a sharp picture. In Hong Kong, during a police operation, a policeman Saichai (Hong Kong actor Lau Wan-Fung) is surprised to see one of his friends being part of the gangsters they are chasing. He prevents another policeman to shoot his friend, who can flee. The head of the police has now doubt on Saichai's integrity and suspends him from police duty. Saichai is very upset. He has a fight with some gangsters and during the fight, a policeman, trying to arrest them, is killed accidentally. Saichai is accused to have killed this policeman. His friend proposes to Saichai to flee to Thailand and to stay with uncle Chuan. In Thailand, ผู้กอง Sorapong Chatree tries to catch a kidnapper having taken two foreign teachers in hostage. Inspector (สารวัตร) Ron Rittichai (รณ ฤทธิชัย) succeeds to enter in the room and shoots the kidnapper. Uncle Chuan is involved in diamond trade. Palang (Chat Mongkolchai) is disappointed that Chuan wishes to retire. Three ruffians belonging to Palang shoot uncle Chuan and his wife. Khun Kamton (Krung Srivilai) is the big boss. Kamton asks for additional money from all godfathers. Fed up, the godfathers pushed by khun Prasong (Chaiya Suriyun) gather 200 000 baht to get rid of him and a hitman kills Kamton. Uncle Chuan recovers gradually. Saichai promises to take care of Palang. Following a fight in a restaurant, Saichai kills Sia Palang. Godfather Prasong knows that the killer is a former Hong Kong policeman. By threatening Saichai to have him expelled from Thailand, Godfather Prasong hires him to kill other godfathers. One time, he fails as police intervenes. Saichai believes Prasong tried to betray him. Police fails to catch Saichai. Saichai gets a Thai girlfriend called Mary (ชุติมา กาวินละ). Three Hong Kong men are sent to jail following a failed robbery. Saichai knows them. Godfather Prasong is finally arrested by Sorapong following a drug case foiled by Thai police. Somchai Samipak is playing head of Police. Saichai succeeds to release two of his friends. The third one succeeds to escape as police intentionally wants to find other Hong Kong men thanks to him. Police surrounds the house where the Hong Kong men are hiding. They refuse to surrender. Ron Rittichai has to do the dirty job to neutralize the Hong Kong robbers...

It was actor Tin Settachoke’s (ตฤณ เศรษฐโชค) first movie. Policeman Borapon (Sorapong Chatree) shoots a young ruffian being part of a biker gang. The young ruffian hit policemen trying to stop him. Borapon claims it was self-defense, but youngsters accuse Borapon of abuse of power. Those kids are coming from rich families so Borapon loses at court. He is separated from his wife Rutika (จริยา สรณคม - Jariya Anfone). At nighttime Borapon follows his former wife working as DJ in her nightclub. Songklam (Rith Luecha) and Chakrit (Chatchai Plengpanich) are acting as bodyguards of Nat (Marsha) in the nightclub. Borapon's wife is having a new boyfriend going to invest in her club. It makes Borapon very upset. Youngsters are playing fun of Nat, Songklam and Chakrit after seeing them in a mall. Somchai Samipak is uncle of one of the youngsters, i.e. Chetanan (Tin Settachoke). Borapon follows his wife and her boyfriend. While they are drinking, the boyfriend is shot by Songklam, who succeeds to flee. Borapon is accused. He has to take leave from Thai police (พักราชการ). Nat is businessman Orachun’s daughter. Orachun (Adul Dulyarat) plans to transfer his business to Chakrit. It is Nat’s birthday. Her father is always busy. The youngsters are part of the musicians performing at the birthday. Orachun is satisfied of the music group performance and wishes to greet the singer. When knowing that the singer, Chetanan, is son of former associate Wat, Orachun orders to kill him. The killing fails. Aware of this, Somchai orders his nephew Chetanan to come to Phuket. In Phuket, youngsters meet Borapon and promise to get revenge. Orachun stole money from Wat before when Wat and Orachun were business partners (ลงทุนด้วยกัน). Wat was killed by Orachun’s ruffians. Chetanan kidnaps Nat while she is doing windsurf and holds her captured on a remote island in Krabi (ใช้กรรม). It is his plan to revenge against Orachun. Head of police in Phuket is Sayan Chantaraviboon, playing a cameo role. People believe Nat has drown. Rutika arrives in Phuket to ask for money to Orachun. Bullet analysis shows that Borapon is not guilty. Nat makes her captors drink. A fisherman, named Tim, helps her to flee but he has bad ideas in mind. Chetanan helps Nat on time but he gets severely beaten by Tim before. Romance starts between Chetanan and Nat. Tim warns Orachun that the youngsters are staying on a raft on Phi Phi island. While Chetanan is away, Orachun and his men storm the raft and release Nat. One of Chetanan’s friends (เอ็ม สุรศักดิ์ วงษ์ไทย) is killed. Rutika comes again to get support from Orachun regarding her debts but she is chased away. Orachun is just looking to take over her business and has no intention to help her. Being ruined, she realized that only Borapon was always nice with her. While having diner, Songklam shoots Rutika. It is part of Orachun’s plan to take over the discotheque. Both Borapon and Chetanan are looking for revenge and storm Orachun’s home. Heavy shootings occur. Songklam is shot by Borapon. Chakrit and Chetanan shoot each other. Borapon prevents Orachun to shoot Chetanan by injuring him first. Orachun is arrested and admits he was wrong.

It is a small Police movie with Sorapong Chatree and three subordinates (ลูกน้อง) with highlights on policewomen. James Bond movie is used as soundtrack. Three overseas gangs from Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand gather for business. Police inspector (สารวัด) Toma It (Sorapong Chatree) has to work with policewoman Nee (Nardtaya DaengBunga) to neutralize those gangs. Two other assistants including Oratai (วาสนา วรรณวงศ์) join them. Policewoman Oratai is acting as a singer. Drug exchange occurs outside the club. Shootings happen. White Padungkan has a short role and gets killed. Police intervenes and drug is seized. Amnat (Kanchit Kwanpracha) is the Thai mafia boss. Hiu (Kriengkrai Unhanan) is the Japan mafia boss. Wang Kae (Pumi Patanayut) is the Hong Kong mafia boss. Amnat has betrayed the other mafia leaders. Wang Kae and Chat Mongkolchai arrive in Thailand. Amnat's team fail to kill them. They bring diamonds. Hiu asks all mafia leaders to put disagreements aside and focus on Thai police first as the dirty business is endangered. Nee's younger sister Prissana wished to go overseas for work and suddenly disappears. Nee wants to know where she found a job. She is aware of a hairdresser shop proposing easy overseas job, It is owned by Amnat's girlfriend, Chamfa. Chamfa introduces Nee to the Japanese manager Saekino, who invites her to a restaurant. It is his tactic to kidnap girls and then send them overseas for prostitution. Police teammates come to help. Nee releases the girls kidnapped in a warehouse. Ashamed, Prissana gets suicide. The mother wishes Oratai to leave Police as she doesn't want to lose another daughter. Nee cannot disappoint her father already dead. Police are aware of a drug exchange, so Toma It and his team trap the ruffians. Ruffians suspect there is a traitor among them. Police use Oratai to infiltrate ruffians. Saekino has been released from jail. Ruffians capture Nee's mother. Nee succeeds to release her mother and kills Saekino. Oratai is part of the new batch of women brought by Champa. Ruffians have identified that Oratai is a policewoman. Song, the traitor among the ruffians, helps Oratai to flee. Police start to surround the warehouse. Ruffians start to evacuate ladies. Oratai releases the ladies captured in a bus. Ruffians' leaders try to flee. Thai Police succeed to neutralize all of them and all leaders are killed or captured.

Thai movie มนุษย์หมาป่า / Wolf was released in year 1987. It lasts around 1h30mn. Two versions were released, one on VHS version and one on VCD format released by Lepso (renamed as จิ้งจอกผีสิง). On VCD version, luring scenes are censored but longer action sequences are present. Sompon (Sorapong Chatree) leads a group in the forest (เดินป่า) looking for treasures. Four years ago he was the only survivor. His life was saved by the daughter of the village leader called Pailin (นีรนุช อติพร). Ghosts (ผี) are guarding a cave with treasures. Pao Porapak is part of Sompon’s team. The group is attacked by robbers (โจรกลุ่มน้อย). Some villagers protect the cave and are under the spell of Mae Mo, a local sorceress. Villager leaders are Phairoj Jaising and his son Lak Apichat. Another group is following Sompon as they are eying for the treasures also. Sompon's group reaches the caves first. The villagers attack the second group but they succeed to escape. During nighttime, ghosts attack Sompon’s group. ผีผู้หญิงกลัวพ่อ ผีผู้ขายกลัวแม่ so Sompon asks the teammates to get naked to chase the ghosts away. In the second group, a rapist tries to abuse a lady so internal fightings occur. Mae Mo discourages Pailin and Sompon's love story. At nighttime, Sompon is transformed as a werewolf (หมาป่า) but the spell is not strong enough. The second group chases the first one from the caves. At nighttime they are attacked by ghosts and the remaining members are killed by villagers through torture. Sompon refuses to flee. A duel happens between Sompon and Lak. As Sompon wins, it shows the triumph of love towards fake magic from sorceress Mae Mo. Other actresses include อภิรัตน์ มณีรัตน์, มัลลิกา สมบัติเจริญ.

A famous and bad sorcerer is killed. But his spirit ("VINJAAN" - วิญญาณ) is still living and teachs his son about supernatural powers such as bullet invincibility and teleportation. Ten years after, the son masters all skills. He takes revenge but is not going on the same dark side as his father.

Thai movie ขุมทรัพย์ทับทิมดำ / Forbidden ruby was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h28mn. It was released under VCD format by Lepso company and VHS format before. It was also released internationally under the name "Magic emerald" by Filmark under VHS format (1h26mn). Payoong Payakul is movie director. The movie features the same village as Thai movie มนุษย์หมาป่า. So it looks like movies ขุมทรัพย์ทับทิมดำ, มนุษย์หมาป่า, มหัศจรรย์สุดขอบฟ้า are part of a trilogy. Praisanee (Thida Thidarat) has issues with four ladies warriors as she enters a forbidden part of the forest. Their master (อาจารย์) stops the fighting. Two villages are opposing each other. One is led by Chao Mae and one is led by Jaising. Mae Mot (แม่หมด) sanctuary, old heritage, is protected by the two villages and they keep arguing. Jaising’s villagers are attacked by Chao Mae’s villagers led by Pao Porapak. Five of them die. The leader Chao Mae (เจ้าแม่) is a lady. Chao Mae maintains discipline among her male warriors by offering ladies to them or even herself. Chao Mae’s villagers attack Jaising’s village while Lak Apichat, village leader Phairoj Jaising and his daughter Praisanee are away. They promise to get revenge. Three men arrive in Chao Mae’s village for a weapons deal to get rid of Jaising’s village. They get full hospitality from Chao Mae. Another groupe including Macawan (Sorapong Chatree), Kaewta, Warun, Phit and lady Pissamai is visiting the forest to find old jewels. They are aware to be near ancient dangerous villages. The weapons exchange fails thanks to Praisanee. Another weapons exchange fails again following heavy shootings. Praisanee and villagers arrests Macawan's team to understand why they enter the forest. Chao Mae needs blood to stay healthy. Macawan decides to help Praisanee. While visiting the Mae Mot sanctuary, Phit dies. Pissamai is captured by the Chao Mae’s villagers. She is aggressed and killed by them. At night time, Praisanee enters in the village to release her but it is too late. She then faces Pao Porapak and defeats him. Unfortunately, Pissamai is dead already. Both groups of villagers enter the sanctuary and heavy shootings occur. Praisanee gets the magical weapon from Mae Mot and gets rid of opponents such as Chao Mae, Pao Porapak… Peace is back in the area.

Thai movie มหัศจรรย์สุดขอบฟ้า / The Marvellous Tale was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h35mn. It was released under VHS format. The Marvellous Tale is the international version, released by IFD. Movie director is Payoong Payakul. Five years have passed. Young man Iti is still remembering young lady Monoko (Chutima Kawinla) met during a trip to a remote village. He convinces a few friends to join him, and a group is created to go back to the village. Tatsanee (Thida Thidarat), daughter of an archeologist, and Chatchai are part of them. They meet weird monsters (มนุษย์ปีศาจ). They are inoffensive during daytime but attack the group at nighttime. They are chased away by using fire. Ati cannot find Monoko as she has moved to a new village. A bunch of ruffians including Ta Moo Yan (Pao Porapak) asks for protection money (เก็บเงิน) to villagers managing a local market. As villagers have no money, Ta Moo Yan’s team hit them. Pen Yiem (Sorapong Chatree) interposes. Fighting erupts, but Ba Song (Lak Apichat) stops all of them and retreats. Pen Yiem meets Monoko. Chao Mae (เจ้าแม่) is upset that her men were chased from the market, so she gives order to burn it. The group led by Ati sees five ladies dancing naked on a cliff. Ati recognizes Monoko among them, but she flees. The group is then attacked by Chao Mae’s villagers. Thanks to Pen Yiem, they succeed in escaping. Pen Yiem refuses to accompany them to the sacred land border as it is too dangerous. Phairoj Jaising leads another village. Villagers' delegations meet each other. Only one village can protect the sacred land. A fighting contest occurs between both villages with the best fighters being involved. Jaising’s villagers win the contest. Chao Mae’s men capture Ati’s group. The men are attached under a scorching sun. Pen Yiem helps Jaising’s villagers, who are attacked again by Chao Mae’s villagers. Pen Yiem also releases Ati’s group. Meanwhile young lady Dao, a member of Jaising’s village, also helps. Pen Yiem declares his love to Dao. Distrust happens between both villages as Chao Mae’s villagers don't accept peace despite being defeated in an official contest. Fight and shooting still happen between the two villages as Ba Song is pushing for confrontation. Being defeated, Ba Song comes back to the village and kills Chao Mae. He then kills Ta Moo Yan through a fierce duel as he wishes to become new village leader. Ati wants to meet Monoko. They are finally captured by Jaising’s villagers. Pen Yiem forces Jaising to find a solution. Jaising agrees to release them, but they need to go through hell gates first. Pen Yiem defeats Ba Song so Ati and his men are allowed to leave. As Dao has helped outsiders, she is condemned to go through the hell gates...

Ithipon (Sahat Piempongsan) and Decha are two mafia leaders fighting for drugs control. They have a deal worth of 4M baht but Ithipon doesn’t go by himself and sends a bait. It was a trick as the bait is killed and Ithipon doesn't get the drug in exchange of the money. Sa (Apiradee Pawaputanon) and Jak (Sorapong Chatree) are loving each other but Jak is coming from a poor background (ธานะไม่เหมือนกัน) so Sa’s mother doesn't like him so much. Mot is a local police inspector always looking for proofs to arrest Ithipon and Decha. Jak's mother is played veteran actress Sarinthip Siriwan. It was one of her last movies. Protection fee (ค่าคลุม) needs to be paid by the mother, small restaurant owner, to the mafia led by Ithipon. As Jak refuses to pay, a fight erupts and one of the thugs is killed with his own knife while trying to stab Jak. Jak takes refuge in Decha's clan. His father is killed as a revenge by Ithipon's ruffians. A rich businessman fed up by Ithipon’s continuous requests asks Decha to get rid of him. Ithipon is shot at his home. Jak and Jon (Lak Apichat) are seen there despite Jak only injured Ithipon. A hitman being there is the one who killed Ithipon. Police inspector Sak is Sa’s promised fiance but she doesn’t love him. Sa's father is kidnapped. Following arguments with Jon and other thugs to release Sa's father, Jak gets injured (เพื่อนทรยศ) but succeeds to help the father. Jon promises to get revenge. Sa’s parents thank Jak for having released the father and wish him good luck. Jon finds Jak and tries to kill him. Following fierce fighting, Jon is finally the one to die. Jak wishes to take revenge over Ithipon. He shoots him and his remaining thugs. But police is now chasing Jak, Afraid he flees but finally surrenders when the police reminds him his duties over his mother and girlfriend Sa. Thai movie ฆ่าปิดปาก released in year 1987 has a length of 1h23mn. The original film is certainly longer but may have been cut by Lepso to fit in VCD format.

Some ruthless ruffians kill villagers and threaten them as their leader, called Chun, was arrested by the police following a denunciation. Winai, head of forest rangers, is captured by the mafia in order to exchange Chun. Chun's daughter, called Plae, is leading the capture. Nai, a soldier, is living with his wife in a neighbouring village. While he is away, his wife Waew is raped and killed by the ruffians. Nai complains to the police. The local police head proposes to him to share the 200 000 Baht reward to get back Winai. Meanwhile the ruffians succeed to free Chun during a prison transfer. Nai helps Chun and his daughter to escape the police chase. His target is to infiltrate Chun's ruffians team and find who kills his wife. Chun's teammates also wish to get the 200 000 Baht reward. Once Nai arrives in the village, one of the leader, called Chat, refuses to exchange Chun with Winai and kills Chun. Nai is captured and put prisoner in a cage. Chun's daughter, Plae, has arguments with Chat and flees the campement. She frees Nai. Chat wishes to exchange Winai versus the money reward. Chat needs money to build a bigger team of ruffians. Nai takes revenge over the ruffian who killed his wife and succeeds to free Winai, head of forest rangers. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Nai carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. All ruffians are killed. Police arrives late. Nai and Plae defeats Chat and the rogue policeman doesn't get any reward. It is a typical 1980s Thai action movie based on revenge plot, mistreated villagers and corrupted policeman.

San is a soldier. His father and sister, called Samon, are working in a mine concession looking for precious stones. The father finds a big ruby. The head of the concession wants to buy it at a low price but the father refuses. While San is at the Thai border, the head of the concession uses tough men to get the gem. San's father is killed but the gem is not found. The head of the concession takes San's sister as his girlfriend as she believes he is a nice man. Back to the village, San knows that the head of the concession is responsible of his father's death and has arguments with his sister. The concession head uses tough men to get rid of San and he is badly injured. He takes refuge in a Buddhist cave and is rescued by a wandering forest monk. He gives him a sacred Buddha amulet for protection. People with good intention are protected by the Buddha sacret amulet. Thanks to the sacred amulet, bullets cannot hurt San. San finally overcomes the head of the concession and his tough team. This movie is typical of 1980's action movies where the main actor always faces local god father protected by many tough men. He fights without support from the police. Local people enjoyed such kind of movie enhancing family relationship, Buddhist traditions and moralistic story.

A man living with his family in the forest is apart from the society. When his wife and daughter are killed by bad tough guys, he seeks revenge.

Thai บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ was released in year 1987 and lasts 1h18mn. It is an estimation only as the movie seems to have been released in level 2 standalone theaters (โรงชั้นสอง) only. It is a low budget movie. The soundtrack belongs to other movies such as “Shaft”. There are quite a few nice sequences with Sorapong Chatree but the overall film editing is average. It is in fact a movie made with other movies sequences from Sorapong Chatree so that is why the editing is so poor! The numerous love sequences seem here only to ensure the movie can last 1h18. A new police officer (ผู้กอง) Kamtenthong (Sorapong Chatree) arrives in North of Thailand. A ring leader called Dam has dirty businesses such as helping people to cross Thai border illegally, drugs traffic, smuggling of weapons. Many fights and shootings happen between wealthy men (พ่อเลี้ยง) teams. Dam (Rith Luecha) benefits of it until police starts to involve into his business also to stop the numerous killings. Finally police rushes into Dam's ranch and neutralize the ruffians and hitmen. But the leaders are not here. Dam's secretary, Pen, is the one informing the police. It causes the ruffians’ leaders to believe the other team betrays them as police is always there when weapons trading is happening. Dam is finally also neutralized through a final shooting. Pen was an uncovered policeman. It is a typical Thai action movie from 1980s mixing some Hong Kong style action sequences such as flying jump. Year 1987 was very prolific with action movies as Panna Rittikrai started to release his own action movies also. Movie บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ features a few actors from 1970s action movies such as Phairoj Jaising but they look quite tired except Sorapong Chatree.

Thai police assign Chatree (ชาตรี มณีวรรณ) to this case. Tongchai is inviting singer Saeng Dao to his table in a nightclub. Tongchai visits Sukit and asks for 20M THB to give back the jewel. Ruffians try to get rid of Tida but fail. Meanwhile Prasong stays with his lover Chutima. He is sending a ruffian, called Waew, to get rid of the family owning the jewel. It fails again. Tongchai is back to the bar to listen to Saeng Dao singing and offers a diamond ring to her. Kritchai and policeman Chatree are monitoring him. Chatree takes a picture of Tongchai to verify his identity first. Prasong's team includes Kritchai, Chot (Lak Apichat) and Nissa. Father, Tida and her friends go for a ride. The father is shot and killed. Prasong is suspected. Nissa tries to seduce Thongchai in order to get the family jewel. She proposes a meeting with her boss Prasong to organize a money exchange. Tongchai and Prasong's team meet but suddenly Thai police storms in. Heavy shooting occurs and ruffians are neutralized. Kritchai helps as he is on Thai police side. Thai government gives back the diamond to Tida. Romances happen between Chatree and Tida, between Kritchai and Saeng Dao.

His wife has an affair and gets pregrant. He expelled her from home. His daughter is having an affair with a young man and he also expelled her from home. The fishing boat is caught in Cambodian seas and he is sent in jail for 6 months. His grandfather get hurt on his back and cannot walk properly anymore. His son is sent to youth jail as he robs metal to buy medicine for his grandfather. Feeling useless, the grandfather gets suicide. When he is back from Cambodia, his family is wracked. This movie depicts life in urban slums of Bangkok with all its suffering and hardship. It was the object of much enthousiasm and praise among foreigners in Thailand and Thai intellectuals. Everyone in the story suffers from an unkind fate. The problems of the whole family stem from its leader only.

This movie puts the stress on forest diminishing size due to overexploitation and illegal logging, elephants lacking work as the forest is getting smaller, corrupted policemen, influential people escaping troubles, illiterate poor people exploited by rich Chinese pawners, companies possessing official logging concessions and cheating by adding illegal logging, the helplessness of the simple people as well as the animals caught up in this struggle. The film failed at box office and lost around 7 millions baht. The long history of debate around the Chinese control over business in Thailand is one of the most deep and daring assertions in this movie. This movie touches deeply controversial issues such as the Thai state failing to protect its people against illegal interests. During the filming in the Northeast of Thailand local gangsters, probably working for illegal logging interest, attacked the film crew and one member was killed. The Culture Ministry registers 25 Thai classic films each year at the National Film Heritage Registry. On trial day, Apichat succeeds to release two Hong Kong guys through a daring escape. One fails to escape and is caught back by the police. Fai Chai is another local Thai helping them. The boss doesn't leave his teammates (ลูกน้อง) in difficulty. As Fai Chai is identified, Thai police storms the house where ruffians are hiding. All are killed. Thai police saves face (ตำรวจไทยไม่ขายหน้า).

Thai movie มือปืนผีสิง / The magic man was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h36mn. It was released under VCD format by Lepso company. This Thai movie was also released internationally. The international title is "Mad Move" and lasts 1h25mn. It is a mix of Thai footage and Hong Kong footage done by Filmark production. The Thai footage lasts one hour. The Thai actors are not even mentioned in the credits. Thai movie director is Payoong Payakul. Lepso Company released the movie under the wrong name of นักรบผีสิง. Plik (Sorapong Chatree) is a Thai soldier protecting his country. He is fighting at Thai border. All his colleagues are dead. Plik is seen holding a machine gun and shooting enemies. Meanwhile Sak (Lak Apichat) is visiting his family. Sak offers money to the family against land titles but the father refuses. Plik’s sister, Pim, is married to a motorbike taxi driver called Taen. Later on, ruffians kill Plik's whole family. Plik is back to his village and finds his family dead. Taen suspects Sak or Jom to be behind the murders. In a sawmill, shootings happen between Sak, Jom and Plik. Jom and his men retreat. As Plik believes Sak is responsible of his parents' death, they both fight. Plik finally understands that Sak is not guilty. Pao Porapak and Rith Luecha are parts of the ruffians led by a lady (นายหญิง). Plik finally catches the ruffians, who shot his family, and shoots Jom. Plik meets a wandering monk and follows him. Out of strength, Plik collapses and wakes up in the monk's cave. He needs to pacify his heart. While being in a brothel, ruffians have fighting with Sak. Plik still has horrible visions about war. The ruffians send a beautiful lady, Sinaporn Philailak, to seduce Plik but it fails. Outside of the room, Pao is waiting and Plik is captured by the ruffians. At nighttime Plik becomes a werewolf as he uses wrong Buddhist incantations but still defeats his captors. The lady leader abuses the confidence of Bonnie (รติรส รินนภา) but the werewolf stops her. The werewolf abuses the lady leader as revenge. Meeting Sak, the werewolf follows him and by paying respect to a Buddha statue, the werewolf becomes Plik again. Rith refuses to believe the stories about a werewolf but finally following the proofs, he gathers a big team to fight back. Finally Plik’s team acts first. The movie ends up in shootings and two final fights between Sak and Pao, between Plik and Rith. Ruffians are defeated.

A few people are killed by a hitman (มือปืน) and acolytes in a pool club. Tong is witness of the murder. He shots one killer. Pen's business is also threatened by local mafia. Chiang Mai area is dominated by two local mafia heads. A lady called Gnam seduces Tong to know the truth regarding his visit to Chiang Mai but to no avail. Gnam is linked to mafia. The two mafia rings fight each other. During a shooting at the Chiang Mai airport by another hitman, a young man called Suchai helps to protect Saichai, daughter of Somchai (Rith Luecha), mafia leader. Suchai gains the trust of Somchai. The two mafia leaders decide to unify their efforts instead of fighting. Gnam is killed during a fight between Tong and a ruffian. Finally Suchai gets information that both mafia team will gather in Don Pui area to sell drug. Gun fights happen between mafia and the police helped by Tong, Den and Suchai. Similar to a a Thai copy of Rambo II, Tong carries a huge machine gun with ammunitions over the shoulder. The movie features fightings shot with a Hong Kong action movie style. As often during such Thai action movies, it is revealed that the main characters were undercover policemen. Many Thai action movies in 1980s decade include influence from Hong Kong movies and American movie Rambo II fighting style.

A Japanese soldier is stranded in Thailand. His plane crashed. He is rescued by a Thai family. The Japanese gets married with their daughter but she dies when giving birth to a daughter. Twenty years have passed. An armed group arrive in the village. They are looking for the old Japanese gold that is supposed to be hidden inside a cave. Yem (Sorapong Chatree) is protecting the group. Another armed group is already occupying the area. Gun fights occur between the two groups. Following various fights, kidnapings and so on... the Japanese former soldier triggers an explosion inside the cave so that nobody can get the gold. Phra Athit (พระอาทิตย์) means sun but also gold. This movie has nothing to do with the movie "ลูกสาวพระอาทิตย์" shot in 1968. It is a typical grade B action movie from decade 1980s with kung fu fights and gunfight sequences. It includes a little of romance and a lonesome hero who prefers to stay in the forest than going back to modern world. Favorite sentence of such movies is "cha tham arai to pai" (จะทำอะไรต่อไป) - What shall we do next? During the anti-communist years, Sorapong Chatree played soldiers and mercenaries in perhaps 100 action films. Most of these were low-profile, though some were popular as they played to the national sentiment.

During Vietnam war some Thai soldiers are facing the Vietcong resistance. It is their last days of their engagement. One of them, Athit, has a Vietnamese girlfriend called Cheut Cheun, but needs to be separated from her. Athit promises to come back. Due to the South Vietnam invasion by North Vietnam, he cannot keep his promise. Many Vietnamese boat people then flee to Hong Kong. Cheut Cheun's father forces his daughter to leave Vietnam in order to secure a better future for her. The smugglers are part of the mafia. Those evil men rape the young girl on the boat. The boat is hijacked by Thai ruffians and the boat people are put in a cage. The young girls are transferred to another boat by the ruffians, who wish to send them to Thailand. Athit and his friend Wat accidentally see Cheut Cheun. She was sent to a bordel. Athit promises to help. Cheut Cheun refuses to obey the mamasan (มาม่าซัง) so faces wrath from her and is tortured (ทรมาน). The mamasan considers the girls (เด็กผู้หญิง) as things and now wishes to send them to singapore due to the deranging noise made by Athit. It is difficult for Athit to free Cheut Cheun due to the mamasan's bad influence (อิทธิพล). He wishes to buy a ticket to send her back to Vietnam. He convinces the police to investigate and helps to gather proofs. He doesn't have enough money to buy her back so he tries to organize an escape but it fails. His friend Wat is killed. The police finally arrests (จับ) the mamasan and her ruffians. This movie highlights the boat people phenomena and the mafia taking profit of it. The main actress is from Philippines. She might had less concern that Thai actresses to play sexy scenes. Soundtrack from Dario Argento's horror movies is used.

Thai movie ยิงทิ้ง was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h20mn but parts of the movie are cut. Ruffians shoot a van transporting money (ปล้นเงินเดือน). Lak Apichat is injured. Police arrives and catches ruffians but Wong (Chat Mongkolchai) and Pon (Pipop Pupinyo) succeed to flee. Pon hides the money but is also arrested later so Wong doesn't know where the money was hidden. Wut (Sorapong Chatree) is police inspector. He is married to Na (วชิรา วงษ์วัชร์), who complains he doesn't give enough time to his family (เป็นหน้าที่). Head of police Choomporn Theppitak enquiries if Lak is involved in the robbing or not. Choomporn gives the case to Wut. By enquiring, Wut meets Wong and Pao Porapak but they succeed to escape due to the mistakes of other policemen. Wong and Pao succeed to release Pon. Choomporn asks Wut to get them back but Wut requests an assistant (ผู้ช่วย), i.e. Lak. As Pon is reluctant to give back the money, Wong kidnaps his wife (พิศมัย ภุมมา). Meanwhile Wut and Lak are chasing Pol also. They fail to catch Wong and Pao despite Pol leads them to their house. Wut verifies that Mon (Sinaporn Philailak) doesn't hide Wong anymore. Choomporn starts to lose patience as Wong is still not captured by Wut. By spying Mon, Wut finally gets back the money but Wong succeeds to escape. Wong kidnaps Na in order to force Wut to give back the money. Following fightings and shootings with ruffians, Wut, Lak and Na defeat them. Lak ends up in jail as he still has to pay for his previous bad behavior. A four minutes trailer is also still available. It features sexy scenes cut off from VHS release.

Thai movie ตามฆ่า was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h46mn. The VHS release is very sharp. The movie was also released overseas by Filmark movie production. It is called "Twinkle Ninja Fantasy". It is mixing the Thai movie and Ninja sequences shot in Hong Kong. Vin (Lak Apichat) organises gambling on a mining site. Manager (ผู้จัดการ) Somchai (Krai Kanchit) decides to give him a harsh lesson. Kiet (Sorapong Chatree) interposes as Somchai is going too far. Fighting erupts and You (Sinaporn Philailak) has to stop them. The big boss Thana (Boo Wibunnan) refuses to fire Kiet as he is a good staff. You is Thana's girlfriend but she is also Somchai's mistress. As Kiet has to transport important company goods, Somchai plans to get rid of him. As Kiet's sister has a domestic accident, Kiet cannot go. Vin then leads the convoy, which is attacked by ruffians. Only Vin succeeds to escape as the ruffians believe he falls from a cliff. You pushes to marry with Thana (แม่เลี้ยง) but this latter wishes to inform his son coming back from overseas first. As the convoy is robbed, Somchai accuses Kiet to be the mastermind behind. Pinyo tries to convince Vin to accuse Kiet but as he refuses, he is beaten and left for dead. Thana doesn't trust Somchai so he wishes to replace him by his son. Aware, Somchai hires Chat Mongkolchai to attack the next convoy led by Thana and Kiet. All staff die including Thana. Only Kiet escapes but his sister gets killed as he takes refuge in his home. Somchai now plans to kill Thana's son called Virayut (วีรยุทธ รสโอชา). While exiting the train station, ruffians chase and shoot Virayut. Luckily doctor Wana (ปรางค์ วงศ์วัช)(แสนสวย) passes by and saves his life. Pipop Pupinyo and Pao Porapak storm the doctor's house to find the son. Wana chases them on time before any killing occurs. Virayut wishes to kill Kiet as You brainwashed him that he is the killer. Ruffians try to kill again Virayut but they fail so they kidnap the doctor Wana. Meanwhile Virayut follows Lak to find Kiet. Following fighting, Virayut understands that Kiet is innocent. Understanding that Somchai doesn't love her, You tries to release Wana but it is too late and she gets killed. Kiet gets revenge over Chat Mongkolchai by putting a grenade in his mouth. Knowing that Somchai is planning to flee overseas by boat, Thai police, Kiet, Vin, Virayut storm the pier to release Wana. The boat succeeds to escape but Kiet and Virayut are on board. Through a final fight, Somchai is killed. As often in Thai movies, it is discovered that Virayut is a Bangkok police officer. Before going to Bangkok, he promotes Kiet as new manager and Vin as intendant. This Thai includes many stereotypes from 1980s Thai action movies.

Thai movie เสือภูพาน was released in year 1986. The movie "เสือภูพาน", released under VCD by Lepso ltd, lasts only 56 minutes so for sure the original movie was cut a lot so making the whole story a bit difficult to understand. The movie เสือภูพาน was already released by Happy Time ltd so this version might be longer. Another online version lasts 1h07mn. It was also released under as an international title as "Spy Inferno" (1h26mn). It is a mix of Thai footage and Hong Kong footage done by Filmark production. The movie is in Spanish language. The Thai footage lasts more than one hour. The picture quality of "Spy inferno" is much better than the Thai VCD release. Some scenes are present only in the Filmark version and some only in the Thai VCD version. The Thai actors are not even mentioned in the credits. Soldiers led by Phupan (Krung Srivilai) are attacked by traitors. As their leader is injured, they have to retreat. This group of traitors is led by a big chief (Boo Wibunnan). The big chief leader wears Vietnamese clothes with a communist red star. They are traitors to the Thai nation. His ruffians' team includes Somsak Chaisongkram, Chat Mongkolchai, Krai Kanchit, Pao Porapak, ชูชัย ชัชดา and Pipop Pupinyo. They terrorize and ransack the local population. Kamnan (กำนัน) Lit is taking orders from a female boss (หัวหน้า) called Melan (Nareerat Monsiri). Only two men, Seu (Sorapong Chatree) and Phupan, are organizing resistance against them. Seu’s parents and younger sister were killed by the ruffians. The international version shows the village attack by the ruffians. Subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Yeun refuses to sell his land to the ruffians. Lit tries to intimidate Yeun. Seu helps a singer aggressed by Somsak Chaisongkram (เล่นผัวเมียกัน). Seu is kidnapped by the ruffians but refuses to divulge information on Phupan. The doctor Bua helps Seu to flee. A chase is engaged to catch them back. Kamnan Lit kidnaps Yeun to force Yeun’s daughter (ไปรมา รัชตะ) to be his wife. Her friend Promod helps to release Kamnan Lit. There is a secret informer (หูตา), called Number 13, inside the ruffians’ team. The traitors move to another secret place but Bua leads the Thai army there. Melan is finally uncovered as the hidden informer inside the ruffians. The Thai army, helped by Seu, storm the ruffians’ headquarters but faces strong opposition. Seu appears in hill tribes clothes. All ruffians are killed. Bua dies in the fightings. Thai movie เสือภูพาน reminds of movies such as ชุมแพ 2 (1984) or เสือภูเขา (1979) where a hill tribe character has strong fighting skills.

Thai movie เสือภูพาน was already released in year 1983 with another poster. This version was targeted for Thai provinces. Some investment was done with a new poster. Actors and movie director are updated (หนังรวมมิตรย้อมแมว). Similar to practices done by Lepso company, poster is changed and movie is maybe changed. It could be real movie เสือภูพาน or another one... It is a bit similar to Thai movie แผ่นดินเหล็ก, which was released again later under the name เสียงเพลงนักเลงโหด.

Oti (Chatchai Plengpanich) is a tough guy sent to prison because he hit two guys flirting with the girl he loves. He is living in Yaowarat, Bangkok Chinatown district. When he was a child, his father was killed in front of him. He is now out of prison. He has a hot temper or ใจร้อน. He is violent due to his difficult childhood. The policeman (Sorapong Chatree) who caught him earlier is now an inspector (สารวัตร). He is helping Oti to find a job. He is also causing trouble to local mafia. They try to get rid of him without success. During a trip of the inspector abroad, Oti is involved in a fight during a Chinese temple festival. By mistake, he shot the son of a local godfather. To protect his mother against revenge, he has to shot this godfather. Oti is now employed by another godfather as a hitman. He has now a lot of money but his mother doesn't want dirty money or a new house. She wants a son that respects law. She wants to be proud of her son. She rejects him. The new godfather uses another hitman to kill the inspector but he is only injured. Bashed by his mother again, Oti kills the hitman and flees to South of Thailand. He has to come back to Bangkok as his boss tries to have him killed. He helped his girlfriend kidnapped by the godfather's tough guys. Finally as his girlfriend is pregnant, he surrenders to the police and promises to become a good father when he will exit from prison. A second opus with different actors was released four years later.

The father of a young lady is killed during a car accident by a rich young man. The young lady becomes a staff in his company to get her revenge. In fact two brothers are leading the company and she confuses them. She refuses the love of one of the brother assuming he is responsible of her father's death. Will love be the strongest?

During World War II in Thailand, three men love the same woman, one is a Japanese officer whose former wife looks like same the Thai lady, one is a dumb Thai man, the last one is a Thai man collabotating with Japanese soldiers but in fact being an insurgent helping British intelligence.

Many guests including Indian merchant Imadoo (Krung Srivilai) are invited to a diamond show to see the famous Diamond Rasamee. Komkrit (Sorapong Chatree), young playboy, is also present. Following a mess during the show, the power supply is cut and Komkrit succeeds to steal the big diamond. The diamond owner dies due to heart crisis. His son promises to take revenge. Komkrit flees thanks to a delta-plane. Komkrit is always accompanied by a dwarf. Komkrit has been hired by ruffian Araki to steal the diamond. Araki is dishonest and tries to get rid of Komkrit. Following a fight, the diamond falls from the window. Two skilled policemen, Den, coming back from America, and Ms Pisawat are responsible to catch Komkrit (โจรปล้นเพชร). Den is a blunderer. Komkrit and his dwarf assistant are looking for the diamond into a slum they believe it falls in. They are aggressively welcomed by a bunch of other dwarfs. Their younger sister (น้องสาว) is Pheung. A romance starts between Pheung and Komkrit. Araki is also looking for Komkrit. The diamond is finally found on the roof of Pheung's house. Following fights and chase with ruffians and police, the diamond is lost in an ice factory. Den forces Komkrit to help the police if he wants to escape prison. The diamond is found in soft drink ice bag. One of the dwarf swallows it. Araki’s team and also Imadoo’s team fight each other to get the dwarf. Imadoo claims this jewel is a sacred item for his Indian religion. Komkrit finally gets back the diamond following a fight with Araki's ruffian in the air on parachute. Meanwhile Pheung and the dwarfs are taken as hostages (ตัวประกัน) and have to be exchanged against the diamond to save their life. The police and Komkrit storm Araki's secret base at nighttime. It is also storing a huge stock of weapons. Final part of the movie is a typical James Bond sequence with an impressive number of jet- skis invading the island. Traitors to Thailand are punished. Diamond is finally given back to India. As usual with director Chalong Pukdeewichit, his movies include a mix of action, comedy, a few foreign actors and a spice of sexy actress. The movie ปล้นลอยฟ้า is known overseas under the name "Eyes of the condor".

Thai movie ไกรทอง 2 was released in year 1985. It was released under VCD and DVD format by Tiga Company and lasts 1h33mn. The Betamax version lasts 1h49mn. The main difference is longer sequences with a Chinese master (อาจารย์). Main actors and actresses featured in this movie are Sorapong Chatree, Sombat Methanee, Sor Asanajinda, Lor Tok, Lak Apichat, Ampha Pusit, Aranya Namwong, Supansa Nuengpirom, Der Doksadao, Duangcheewan Komolsen. This time Kraithong faces a man, who has also the power to change himself into a fearful crocodile. Thong (Suphansa Nuengpirom) and Kaew (Ampha Nuengpirom) are Kraithong's wives. Wimala (Aranya Namwong) and Malaiwan (Duangcheewan Komolsen), former Chalawan’s wives, are staying in a cave under the river. Sor Asanajinda is a powerful hermit. Sor asks Wimala (แม่นาง) not to disturb humans anymore. Meanwhile a crocodile takes away a baby and his father. The mother goes to Chinese shrine to ask help from a Chinese master (Lor Tok). Der Doksadao and เหี่ยว are playing medium assistants in the Chinese shrine. A funny and long sequence featuring the master showing his surnatural skills towards Der Doksadao is present in the betamax but cut in the VCD version. A government official offers a reward to kill the crocodile. The crocodile continues his rampage and attacks a floating market, humans and even a buffalo. Kraithong visits a master mentioning that crocodile Chalawan is back. The crocodile is in fact half human (Lak Apichat) half spirit (จระเข้ผีสิงห์). Lak agresses Chalawan’s wives in the cave. The Chinese master, despite his supernatural skills, is killed by the crocodile. Some scenes where Lor Tok is featuring his flying skills are cut from VCD but present on the BetaMax. The crocodile then attacks the house where Thong and Kaew are living. After a rampage, Kaew is kidnapped by the crocodile played by Lak Apichat. Wimala wishes to use Lak to take revenge over Kraithong. Chalawan is back per incantations from Sor. He is upset that his wife Wimala replaces him so fast. So Wimala pushes Lak to kill Chalawan. Upset about Kaew, Kraithong heads towards the cave. He faces Lak, already injured by Chalawan, and succeeds to defeat him. Chalawan then defies him again. Following an epic fight, Chalawan is defeated again and Kraithong brings Kaew back.

Thai movie นักเลงสิบล้อ was released in year 1985 and it lasts 1h37mn. Wut (Sorapong Chatree)(ลูกพี), son of owner of a truck company (รถสิบล้อ), comes urgently from Thailand following request from Lak (Lak Apichat) as his father just died (งานศพ). Sarawat (Nard Poowanai) tries to arrest him as he is over speeding to be on time to the funeral. A bomb explodes during the funeral. His mother (เจ้าภาพ) dies also. Revenge shall happen as his parents' death is a murder. The one, who carried the bomb, is identified as a lady, called Pim (พิมพ์ใจ พรหมมาลี), working in a karaoke. Sia Song (Somkuan Krajangsat), her boyfriend, is aware they spend the night together. Decha (Rith Luecha) is his right hand. Young lady Suntalee (Apiradee Pawaputanon) is leading a mining site and also selling durians (ทุเรียนแม่ค้า). Through a daring tentative, Wut and his team empty Decha's truck causing Sia to lose a lot of money. Umarin is selling trucks. Sia Song is also the shop owner. Wut enquiries on Sia through Song. Sarawat has arguments with tough men but refuses corruption money. As he is always accused to be too strict, he removes his policeman insignia to teach a lesson to the tough drivers. Sia Song orders to shoot Wut but he is only injured him. He gets closer to Suntalee and tells her that he is an undercover policeman. Four men, part of Suntalee's team, plan to betray her in order to steal precious stones (พลอย). Challenged and overwhelmed by the ruffians (คุณจะไม่มีโอกาสเห็นขาอ่อนฉัน), she gets help from Choomporn Theppitak. The traitors join Sia Song’s team. Sarawat and Wut try to prevent ruffians doing dirty business at the border. Weapons are hidden in rice bags. They chase Decha driving a big truck carrying teak trees. Drug is hidden in teak trees. Wut and the trucks encircle Sia Song forcing him to surrender. Many great famous Thai actors are present in this movie but the directing is a bit weak. Luk Thung (ลูกทุ่ง) countryside music about trucks is featured in this movie. Trucks (สิบล้อ) in Thailand are ornamented with many drawings and colors.

Some Thai Soldiers are fighting at the border against some communist invaders. Phet (เพชร) and Chat (ชาติ) are two key members of this unit. They deserve a rest. Phet brings Chat back to his village. Meanwhile the village headman (ผู้ใหญ่) is killed by a professional killer (มือปืน). Khun Thana, a local influent man, is responsible of his death. Mae Ploy, a child called Haeng, Phet and Chat are witnesses of the murder. Thana wishes to suppress all witnesses. As the future of the country (ชาติ) is endangered if children don't go to school, Phet and Chat decide to protect Haeng and the school. Luckily for the two soldiers, the two teachers, Porn (ครูศิริพร) and Plang (ครูปราง), are also beautiful ladies. Phet captures one of the killer in the city. Thana tries to use his influence to release the killer. Phet meets Lady Kanya (กันยา), a local company owner, having issues with local mafia. Jealousy starts between Kanya and Porn regarding Phet. Following a gun fighting in the school, a student is killed. A car chasing happens in the city and finally the child killers are punished. Phet is captured but succeeds to escape. Phet is played by Sorapong Chatree with a beard. A barber scene is inspired from Sergio Leone western spaghetti movies. Kanya (ขายชาติ) proposes to Phet to steal army weapons but he refused and is held prisoner. As Phet has disappeared, Chat and the two teachers look for him. Chat helps to release Phet. Two former solder friends (ทรยศชาติ) are now working for Thana. They complain that Thai government didn't support them properly. Finally following Phet's touching words, they change side and sacrifice themselves for the nation (เป็นคนไทย). The two former soldiers sacrifice their life to destroy the ruffians’ explosive stock. It is a typical action movie from 1980s with nationalist aspect and highlighting children education importance for the future of the country. It is only a 68 minutes movie so part of the movie might have been cut.

Thai movie หกสี่เอี่ยว พยัคฆ์เหนือเมฆ was released in year 1985. Payoong Payakul is movie director. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 47 minutes is left to be seen. Lak Apichat is playing a police inspector (สารวัตร) role. Veteran actor รณ ฤทธิชัย is playing a ruffian role. Sithao Petcharoen is playing a comic role as useless policeman. In Thai the countryside, goods exchange shall happen between Sing and a group of soldiers led by Reuang (Sorapong Chatree). They arrive by parachute. Sing plays double role and kill the soldiers including Reuang. A bit later, Sing and his ruffians are also killed by mysterious men wearing black clothes. So nobody knows where the goods (สินค้า) end up. Reuang survives and agrees to look for the culprits. Reuang is arrested by the police. Ruffians learning that he is not dead wish to capture him to identify where their goods are hidden. They succeed to release him but Reuang admits he has no clues where the goods are. Later on, Apichat and a policewoman catch Reuang to know where the goods are hidden but to no avail. Reuang is seen by all as the key entry point (กุญแจดอกสำคัญ). Those goods are important at Thai national level. Reuang accepts to collaborate with the police. The left sequence ends up here. Movie หกสี่เอี่ยว พยัคฆ์เหนือเมฆ was also used in IFD movie Top Secret.

Lek has been educated in a Thai Buddhist temple. His mother, fed up by the drunkard behavior of her husband, has become a Buddhist nun. Lek is now a teacher. He saves one of his student from drowning. His mother Namphrao thanks him and has interest with Lek but nothing happens between them. Namphrao has to go abroad but continues to send letters to Lek. Finally Lek got married to Lamai, the daughter of a rickshaw driver. His teacher salary is not enough so Lek has to work at night time as a rickshaw driver. He receives praises from the Thai administration for his dedication over children. He even become the rickshaw's president association. Namphrao is back and it causes jealousy from Lamai. Wishing to open a new business, Namphrao withdrews money from the bank but her money is stolen by robbers. Lek helps to retrieve the money but his family is kidnapped by the robbers. Robbers are killed by the Police and Namphrao leaves Thailand to let Lek and Lamai to have happiness.

Some prisoners (นักโทษ) are used by Rangers police to cut trees in the forest. Porn (Sorapong Chatree) is a quiet prisoner (ครับนาย). Some of the rangers are good men but some are bad guys eager to shoot prisoners when they flee or force them to overwork. Porn is well appreciated by the Rangers police leader as he is always helpful and calm. Krasit, one of the Rangers police, doesn't like Porn as he is too soft. Kasit is spreading rumours of homosexuality (กะเทย) about the two men. Porn is said to have a beautiful girlfriend called Wan in the neighbouring village so Kasit wants to know more. Porn lies to his mother and his girlfriend about his prisoner status. He claims he is still a worker (พนักงาน). Krasit succeeds to steal Porn's girlfriend by telling the truth to Wan's mother. The Rangers police leader is nice and believes in prisoners' redemption so he is giving a lot of autonomy to Porn in the forest. Porn cannot stand Wan's decision (ไม่ทำใจ) and wishes to try to convince her a last time. In one year he shall be released. He is not a criminal (ผู้ร้าย) but Wan's mother forces her daughter to meet Krasit as she is not happy that Porn is a prisoner. Porn was coming from Mae Hong Son and was mistakenly trapped in a brawl. Krasit and Porn fight each other and Porn has no choice than fleeing. Wan cannot follow up. The Rangers police starts to chase Porn in the jungle. Porn has an arm injury as Krasit shots him and then he falls from a cliff. Kasit wants to catch him and kill him (จับตาย). Porn gets refuge with Wan and they flee together. The Rangers police leader cannot help anymore despite Wan's request. Mlabri people (known locally as Phi Tong Luang - ผีตองเหลือง - or "spirits of the yellow leaves") help Wan to go deep inside the forest. The Rangers police follows Wan to know where Porn is hidden. Deadly fights happen in the forest between the Mlabri people and the bad policemen. Krasit dies. Porn finally disguises his death by putting his clothes on a dead body disfigured due to disease.

It is the second opus of the movie Citizen. As the Citizen I movie's main actor has died, Sorapong Chatree was used instead. It is about Thongpoon Khokpoh, a convict going out of prison, and looking for his son. His son refuses to meet him as he was left over many years. His father was in prison and his mother lives abroad with a foreigner. Thongpoon wishes to get reunited with his son. The movie deals about the lack of freedom about ex prisoners, i.e. difficulty of reinsertion, difficulty to find a job, bad image - an old convict will always be a bad man. He sympathizes with a young girl, who is a pickpocket. People don't trust Thongpoon as he is former convict but he is also not trusting the young girl when she brings back money, thinking she has stolen it. A pickpocket will always be a thief. Thongpoon is a nice guy, never wishing to break rules, never lying or doing something against law. So people call him stupid or buffalo! Thongpoon has difficulty to find a job as he is too honest and always says he is a former convict. Once you're in jail, you're always in jail, in this society. Once you get out of jail, you are still branded by the evidence. He is still an outsider. Through a misunderstanding, he is also confronted to bad policemen (Suchao Pongwilai) who don't believe Thongpoon can seek redemption but the head of police trusts Thongpoon. When a car bumps him, he refuses to sue the car driver and blames his own careless mistake. Finally the car driver seeing his kindness recruits him in his restaurant for tourists. Unfortunately one of his former inmates abducts his son and threatens Thongpoon to hurt his son if Thongpoon doesn't kill his boss, who has an issue with local mafia. Thongpoon's choice is difficult and is put in analogy with an ongoing Ramayakian dance (Rama facing demons) in the restaurant. Finally Thongpoon simulates his boss' murder in order to be reunited with his son and has to work hand in hand with the policeman, who formerly looked down on him, to stop the gangsters. The policeman acknowledges his misjudment on Thongpoon. Thongpoon, his son and the young girl are leaving to Udon Thani. This film highlights conflicts between poor people (Thongpoon, the pickpocket girl), the government officials (policemen) and wealthy influential businessmen.

A HiSo family (วงผู้ดี) has a special domestic helper (คนใช้พิเศษ) called Kaew. She can break glass with her strong pitched voice. The daughter has her fiancee (คู่หมั้นชาย), Duangtawan, studying in England. He needs to come back (ธุระสำคัญ) to Bangkok following his father's request. There was a wedding promise between the parents. But Duangtawan wants to check his future wife's mindset first so he disguises himself as the family's car driver (คนขับรถ). His own driver, Phat Thai, becomes the Mom Chao (หม่อมเจ้า) and visits the HiSo family. Kaew (นางตัวดี) simulates herself as the Madam (คุณนาย) as her boss is out for holidays. Finally Duangtawan and Kaew start to be very close as Duangtawan appreciates her simplicity and frankness despite simulating being a Madam. The movie shows Thai society equality through food, i.e. rich / poor people can also sit on the floor, eat papaya salad (ส้มตำ) and sticky rice (ข้าวเหนียว). The Madam is asking for an engagement diner. As Duangtawan's father confirms, she comes back earlier than expected. Quiproquo happens again as Madam's daughter tries to seduce the car driver as she believes he is the real Duangtawan. She brings him to a short time motel (ข่มขืนเขา). Finally Duangtawan tells to Kaew the truth about his real identity but she flees ashamed of her own condition. Through a final quiproquo, the truth is revealed to all. It is finally discovered that Kaew is also the granddaughter of rich family. It a nice small movie but it lacks the craziness and dances that can be found in Bollywood movies.

Two sisters, Chom and Prakai Kaew bear children at the same time. Chom's husband is a bad guy (โจร). Following serious arguments with Chom, he comes to take his child back but Chom gives him Prakai Kaew's child. 17 years passed. Pheung (Jarunee Sooksawad) is a young smart lady living in a village. Her best friend is Phet, a fat cheerful teenager. As they have debts with the local Chinese merchant, they set up a King Kong show at the local temple fair to earn money in order to pay back the debts. It turns to a disaster. Wit, her father, is a reseller of stolen jewelry. Police catches Wit's colleagues. Pheung escapes nearly the police (หนีตำรวจ). A policeman, called Sing, only gets her necklace. Pheung's father is violent and drinks alcohol. He doesn't really love his daughter (ไม่รักลูก). Sing shows the necklace to a local notable who recognize the necklace as her missing granddaughter's necklace. As Prakai Kaew died already, Chom has taken care of Prakai Kaew's daughter, who is in fact Chom's real daughter as Chom exchanged the two girls during the kidnapping. Her daughter is called Lai. The grandfather invites Nam Pheung to stay with her real family. Pheung reaches her new home (บ้านหรือวัง). She is renamed as Nam Pheung. Chom is not happy and refuses to recognize her as her daughter. Her friend Phet can join Nam Pheung. There are typical gags when countryside (บ้านนอก) people enter high society (ผู้ดีสังคม). Policeman Sing is Lai's boyfriend. Chom uses ruffians to hurt Nam Pheung but it fails as she knows how to fight. Sing is very interested in Nam Pheung (สนใจเด็กคนนี่). Meanwhile Wit is in trouble with his former colleagues. Wit and Chom were lovers ten years ago. Lai is Chom and Wit's daughter. Chom wants to push Lai to be the wife of a Thai prince. She invents a pretext (ถูกของ) due to black magic for not having recognized Nam Pheung. Nam Pheung is in fact Prakai kaew's daughter. Chom prepares an evil plan again. Nam Pheung is kidnaped by Wit's ruffians. Sing, the prince rescue her. Chom is punished. It is a typical 1980s romance movie following Lakorn style with the leading actress (นางเอก) as Nam Pheung, the leading actor (พระเอก) as Sing, the bad girl (นางอิจฉา) as Lai and Chom, the funny supporting comedian (ตัวตลก) as Phet. Those romance movies were edulcorated with no kiss between the main stars.

A policeman's wife and son are killed during a gun fight. The policeman enquires and discovers that a mysterious organization, which is going to betray Thailand, is responsible of their deaths.

Thai movie เพชรตัดเพชร was released in year 1984 and lasts 2h07mn. It was released under VCD format by Solar company and under VHS format. A remastered HD version was released during decade 2010s by Five Star Production. This movie features an impressive number of famous Thai actors and actresses from decade 1980s including less known actors หมอซ้ง, พุนสวัสดิ์ ธีมากร, วุมิ คงคาเขตร, ชูศักดิ์ สุธีรธรรม, ดาดา. Movie director is สักกะ จารุจินดา. Thai movie เพชรตัดเพชร was originally released in the year 1966 with Mitr Chaibancha, Luechai Natnat and Petchara Chaowarat. It was also released as Thai TV series in the years 2011 and 2016. Suchao Pongwilai is drunk inside a disco with a partner (Linda Khatancharoen). Mo Sing (หมอซ้ง) tries to seduce the partner so it makes Suchao angry and a fight erupts. Mo Sing loses a two colours denture and gets angry. He shoots Suchao and flees. The partner is found back by Mo Sing, but she claims she doesn't have the denture. Pailin (Piathip Kumwong) is the gang's leader. Yot (Kowit Wattanakul) is her right hand. During a drug exchange, Cheut (Sorapong Chatree) is killed by Yot keeping both drugs and money. Head of police Somchai Samipak talks to police officer Naresuan (Sorapong Chatree). He needs him to neutralise a drug gang working in Thailand, Hong Kong and Macau. Cheut is Naresuan's twin. They were separated when they were 12 years old. Naresuan wishes to revenge his dead brother. Naresuan accepts the mission and will act as Cheut in order to catch Yot. In a bar, Cheut meets Paen Pleumsachai, Pipop Pupinyo as he is looking for Yot. Cheut meets his previous girlfriend Yoi (Wiyada Umarin) having Manop Aussawathep as new husband. Fighting occurs in the bar. Back to Yaowarat district, Cheut ends up in Boo Wibunnan's entertainment centre and meets Anchalee Chaisiri. She suggests him to go to Jumbo bar to find Yot. There, Cheut is facing Pao Porapak. Cheut finally finds Yot with his girlfriend, then steals his suitcase full of drugs and gives it back to the police. Cheut flies to Hong Kong. He meets Pailu (Apiradee Pawaputanon), a singer. Pailu introduces him to Cheng (Krai Kanchit). On a boat in Sai Kung, Cheut meets Cheng again. Coming for a drug exchange, Cheut steals money from Cheng. He gets help from Jo (อโนเชาว์ ยอดบุตร), an undercover HK policeman. HK Police recommends to Cheut to leave Hong Kong as soon as possible for his own safety. Rong Kaomulkadee and Lak Apichat are working for Sahat Piempongsan, former boss of Cheut. Sahat thought Cheut was dead. Knowing Cheut is still alive, he decides to help him. Yot sends a killer to get rid of Cheut but he fails. Cheut learns from head of Police Somchai that Pailu is from Interpol. Another tentative to kill Cheut fails again. Cheut gets help from Rong. Thai police uses a stratagem for Jo to join Cheng’s team. Facing a fight with ruffians, Cheng is helped by Jo in a bar. Convinced by his skills, Cheng asks him to join his team. Pailin is business partner with Cheng. Per Pailin’s order, Yot captures Cheut. Cheng wants to get back his money. Meanwhile, Sahat captures Pailin's men in order to know where they keep Cheut. Cheut claims the money was confiscated by the HK Police but the drug is still stored in a suitcase hidden in Pailu’s home. Pailu gets help from Somchai so that drug is given back to ruffians. Cheng starts to suspect Pailu also. She fails to escape. Meanwhile Thai police surrounds the ruffians’ den. Yot plans to kill Cheut but it fails through a final epic fight between Cheut and Yot. Finally Thai police arrests all ruffians. Sahat fails to flee.

First movie episode สิงห์รถบรรทุก was shot in 1977. Siarat (Sorapong Chatree) is the owner of a truck company and is recently married. Phayap is the head of local mafia. His team is responsible of killing the owner of a truck company but they manage to accuse Siarat. Malin (Suriwan Suriyong), daughter of the assassinated truck owner, wishes to take revenge over Siarat but her mother (Pissamai Wilaisak) tries to prevent her as there is no proof yet. Malin believes wrongly Phayap's sayings. Two hitmen shot and kill Sairat's wife, Saisanee. Siarat wishes to take revenge over this murder. Meanwhile Siarat's former friends from the first movie episode, Chan, Kaewkarawet and Rawan, come back. Phayap tries to buy land from poor farmers but Chan (Manop Aussawathep) helps to chase the ruffians. Siarat doesn't know yet who killed his wife, Phayap group or Malin group. Phayap calls for other ruffians' help from Sisaket. Malin has great fighting skills. Suriwan Suriyong was often used as leading actress for action movies. She shows to Siarat that women can do same as men. Malin and Siarat are now friends as Phayap is identified as the treacherous man. Phayap sells weapons illegally to drug dealers. Phayap kills Siarat's friend Master (อาจารย์) himself. Siarat and Malin bring dozen of trucks to attack Phayap's team but the fields are mined. Gunfire happen between both groups until Phayap is neutralized through bloody sequences. It is a typical action movie from 1980s based on revenge script, kung fu fights, gunfire fights and issues resolved without the direct intervention from the police (it is only known at the movie end that Sairat's friends were under cover policemen), katoei (กะเทย) used as supporting comic roles. The movie image is very damaged for a 1980s movie. This hommage to trucks world was certainly very successful in countryside where movies were projected from the backs of trucks on to sheets hung between trees at fairgrounds.

Thai action movie เหล็กเพชร was released in year 1984. The movie is lost in Thailand but a two minutes trailer remains to be seen. The movie producer is Sor Asanajinda. Main actor is Sorapong Chatree. Suriwan Suriyong is the main actress and Manop Aussawathep is playing her father. Other actors are Metta Roongrat, Lak Apichat, Sayan Chantaraviboon, Suchao Pongwilai, Thitima Sangkapitak… The trailer shows some fighting over a moving truck transporting tree trunks. In year 1967 Sor directed the same movie เหล็กเพชร in 16mm format. Sopha Sataporn was then the main actress. The 1967 version is still available.

Thai movie พรหมสี่หน้า was released in year 1984 and lasts 1h44mn. It was released under VCD format and also under VHS format. สุรพล กรสวัสดิ์ is the movie director. Many actors and actresses are featured in this movie such as Sorapong Chatree, Pumi Patanayut, Nard Poowanai, Tuanton Kammeesri, Kowit Wattanakul, Krai Kanchit, Pipop Pupinyo, Rith Luecha, Chat Mongkolchai, Paen Pleumsachai, Somsak Chaisongkram, Supansa Nuengpirom, Piathip Kumwong, Wiyada Umarin, โสธรณ์ รุ่งเรือง, วรารัตน์ เทพโสธร. Wan (Sorapong Chatree) calls from Germany for his father's birthday party. A bomb, hidden in the birthday cake, explodes. The whole family almost dies. His elder sister (Piathip Kumwong) and also the family car driver (โสธรณ์ รุ่งเรือง) survive. Teen Ta (ด.ญ. กระแต) has also survived but she is now paralyzed. Wan, a former soldier, is back from Germany. Police is too slow for Wan so he decides to manage by himself. His father was a businessman. Wan watches the birthday video and identifies a man offering a gift and leaving soon. He is a ruffian living in Chiang Mai. Wan learns through that ruffian that Pumi Patanayut is involved and was the one to order to bring the cake. Pumi Patanayut is working for mafia leader (พ่อเลี้ยง) Nard Poowanai. Noun (Tuanton Kammeesri) is a journalist refusing corruption and doing inquiries on Nard. Mai (Supansa Nuengpirom) is a young lady, whose mother was also killed by Nard due to business conflict. Kowit Wattanakul is close friend of Wan and introduces him to Mai. Mafia leader Nard Poowanai is trying to become member of parliament and is supported by Wiyada Umarin, his girlfriend. Wan starts to get revenge. Nard's right hand is first killed by Wan. Nard suspects Mai. Then Wan shots Kamlee (Paen Pleumsachai) and warns Nard that soon it will be his turn. Wan is introduced to the ruffians as new shareholder with Mai. It is a trick to be close to the ruffians and the next one to be killed is Pumi Patanayut. Noun is investigating on those killings. Wan and Kowit are identified to be behind the murders. Kowit is shot by ruffians while visiting uncle Sai (Pipop Pupinyo). Wan has no choice but to continue in order to get rid of mafia leader Nard. Nard hires a hitman to get rid of Wan but it fails. Chat Mongkolchai kidnaps โสธรณ์ in order to find where Wan is hiding. As Mai is passing, she is kidnapped and โสธรณ์ is killed. Chat (หน้าตัวเมีย) wants to force Mai to sign documents. Wan successfully releases Mai and chases after Nard until he kills him. Wan is finally pardoned by Thai police thanks to Mai’s plea.

Thai movie ข้ามากับพระ was released in year 1984. It was shown on TV CH7 (ช่อง 7) and last 1h08mn as a shortened version. It was not released on VCD but was released under VHS format. Movie director is Kom Akadej. Soundtrack from band Police is used. It was the first movie for Thai actor Bin Banleurit. A TV serie ข้ามากับพระ was released in 2015. Bin (Sorapong Chatree) is chased by three men (Somsak Chaisongkram, Note Chernyim, Pipop Pupinyo). He is rescued by Luang Pho Seua (Sombat Methanee), being a wandering monk. Bin follows the monk, who wishes to stay alone. Bin wishes to become his disciple (ลูกศิษย์พระ). Doo Dook Kradon and another man are stealing buffalos. Villagers led by Thuam Thoranong are looking for their buffaloes. Luang Pho Seua is wrongly mistaken as a robber but everything is back to normal. Monk Seua and Bin cross a lake but they are attacked by a crocodile. Bin brings bad luck (ซวย) to the monk. They arrive in a ruffian’s camp led by Chat Mongkolchai and Seua Noi (Bin Banleurit). Bin follows behind but is stopped by the ruffians. Monk Seua meets Thai Police, who ask him if he saw any ruffians campement. Police attack the camp and Bin can succeed to flee. Seua Noi is upset and promises revenge as he believes Luang Pho Seua and Bin are undercover policemen. Ruffians try to burn Luang Pho Seua but Bin intervenes. Luang Pho escapes to the flames but he is chased by ruffians. Hopefully, hill tribes, led by Kom (Kom Akadej), chase them away. Bin is injured and cured by beautiful doctor Khru Mo (ครูหมอ) (ชลิดา เสาวดี). The village head is worried about revenge by Seua Khaem. Bin meets again the three men chasing him and has to flee. While fleeing, he meets Luang Pho Seua again. Hilltribe lady Baan Su Thong (Thitima Sangkapitak) is fond of Bin. They spend the night together, but Bin flees in the morning, so Baan Su Thong is looking for him. Ut (Dam Datsakorn) enters in the hilltribe village. A fight occurs between Bin and Ut. Ut is defeated. Kom saves the honor of his younger sister Baan Su Thong. Ut requests help for another ruffians’ leader (Rith Luecha). Ruffians storm the village. Many ruffians and villagers die in the fighting. Baan Su Thong is killed. Seua Noi is seriously injured by Bin. Khru Mo is kidnapped by Ut to cure Seua Noi. Finally, Seua Noi leaves as he feels better but as he gets sick again. Seua Noi gets help from Luang Pho Suea and is cured. He realizes that Luang Pho Suea is a real monk and a good man. Seua Noi's father is Seua Khaem. Luang Pho Seua is a former policeman. While trying to catch Seua Khaem many years ago, Luang Pho Seua shot his wife, being Seua Noi's mother, by mistake. So, the policeman became a monk. Hill tribe members and Bin surround the ruffians’ camp. Seua Kaem (Manop Aussawathep) wishes to take revenge and to shoot the monk but Seua Noi intervenes and is shot instead. Devastated, Seua Kaem gives up on his revenge. Luang Pho has been carrying the wife's bones with him and has been wandering around Thailand in order to meet Seua Khaem.

Thai movie นักรบประจัญบาน was released in year 1984 and lasts 1h47mn. Toranong Srichua is the movie director. The Thai VCD has a good image quality but is 4:3 format. A Japanese VHS version is in 16:9 format but only lasts 1h29mn. It is a Sahamongkol production. A group of heavily armed Thai terrorists (including Dam Datsakorn, Somsak Chaisongkram, Pinyo Parnnui) are trained in Thailand. The Thai army commander asks to neutralize them asap. Tet (Krung Srivilai), previous military officer and now disabled, is sitting on a wheelchair and is pushed by his wife (Pissamai Wilaisak). He is providing advices to Thai army commander. Det (Sorapong Chatree) is Tet’s previous best fighter (นักรบ). Tet was his superior (ภูพาน) in year 1971. Both Tet and Det were the only survivors following heavy fightings at the Thai border. Tet lost use of his legs. The Daily News Press director sends his best journalist Ann (ศิริพร เอี่ยมสุนทร) to enquiry on a factory building illegally war weapons. The factory owner is Somsak Chaisongkram. The journalist receives threatening to stop her investigation on the factory. Meanwhile Tet demonstrates to Thai army commander his latest armored vehicle (รถวิเศษ). His own daughter (ระพีพรรณ กรสกุล) is the driver. Somsak is also very interested but Tet refuses to sell to him. Somsak sold weapons to communists causing Tet’s former military unit to be decimated. Ruffians storm Tet's house and kidnap his wife. Police inspector (Chaiyan Sorakrai) wishes to help but Tet prefers to handle by himself as those kidnappers are not standard ruffians. Det, learning the news from a newspaper, decides to flee while doing community work in order to help his former boss. Ann helps him to find Tet. During tentative exchange with Somsak, Tet's wife is killed through a remote bomb hidden on her body. It is war. Tet provides proofs to Ann that Somsak sold weapons illegally to Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam. Tet is kidnapped. A bomb is put in Daily news’ office by a renegade police officer but Police inspector Chaiyan stops it on time. Police locates the terrorist camp and tries to destroy it. Det uses the armored vehicle. Tet's daughter joins him with an individual flying machine. As policemen get difficulties, they wipe the terrorist opposition and release Tet. For this movie, Krung Srivilai made his head bald and was sitting in a wheelchair during whole movie. Toranong Srichua used his movie as a reference to show what risks could happen in Thailand in the future. Some happened (domestic terrorists, police officer betraying country, remote bombs on people…).

In Nan province, animist forest people (คนป่า) are discovered. They are called "Phi Tong Leuang" (ผีตองเหลือง) or Mlabri ethnic group. They do not possess anything and share everything within the group. They are exploited by Bangkokian people to cut trees in forest. They stop to cut trees because deities (ผีฟ้า) are angry. A professor sends a group of students including a young lady called Doktawan to study and to catch a "Phi Tong Leuang" in the forest. In Ta Wa Dung village, people from Chinese origins are living. They are far from civilization and are friend of the Mlabri ethnic group. Cheng is a young man living in Ta Wa Dung village. The students mistakes Cheng as a Mlabri ethnic group member and catches him. Cheng is same as French Asterix and his magic potion. Cheng gets high strength when getting exposed to sun. As he wishes to visit Bangkok, he lets himself captured. There, he is exposed like an animal in a cage. Doktawan educates him to modern world (radio, music, dance). A romance happens between Cheng and Doktawan. The illegal logging company sends ruffians to get rid of Cheng so he has to flee. Police catches him and sends him to hospital for crazy people as he is walking half naked. Meanwhile Cheng's parents are worried and decide to go to Bangkok to search for him. They arrive in Bangkok with elephants and horses to look for him! Finally Cheng is reunited with his family but it is discovered that he is not a Mlabri so he needs to help Doktawan to find real Mlabri ethnic group members. Meanwhile the illegal logging company wants to kill all Mlabri people to be able to exploit the forest. Gun fight happens in famous Earth Pillars site at Sao Din. Police arrives on time to rescue the students and Mlabri. This is a typical Thai comedy from the 1980s decade with a "katoey" (กะเทย) in the funny and silly role, gags from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "The Gods Must Be Crazy" (1981). There is very bad taste as the illegal logging company ruffians often carry a nazi flag to emphasize their badness. In 2009 the operator of a waxworks museum in Pattaya has been forced to cover up a giant billboard of Adolf Hitler giving a Nazi salute after complaints. This movie includes first introduction of hidden advertisement with beer brand name promotion.

A young lady Apple is supposed to get married. On her wedding day, another lady comes to get back her husband (หลอกเรา). Apple is disappointed again. Apple is part of a group of three ladies, who are close friends and always help each other. One is Pen (Naowarat Yooktanun), one is sexy Nook (Pornpan Ketmamatsu) and the last one is Apple (Jarunee Sooksawad). They decide to focus on money first instead of love as all men are liars anyway. They find a job in the same company. At night time, they play an escort role in a gambling casino (บ่อน) in order to try finding rich men but the police raids the place. Apple gets refuge in Chatri's car as she mistakes it as a taxi in order to escape to the police. Apple tries her luck again in her search for a rich man (เศรษฐี) in a sport club. They meet Krit (Thongchai McIntyre), who invites them to Chiang Mai in his countryside house. Apple asks Chatri (Sorapong Chatree) to drive them to Chiang Mai. As his car is broken, they just dropped him to go for hitchhiking. Chatri also is also rescued by Krit. He knows the game played by the three girls and have strong sarcasms over them. While wandering in the forest, they have arguments with illegal loggers. They are kidnaped but succeeded to flee except Nook. Krit saves Nook. They finally go back to Bangkok as they run out of money. Pen put the furnitures in a pawn shop (โรงจำนำ) to get money. Krit orders the furnitures to be replaced. Apple is fed up with rich people so she leaves her friends. The movie ends happily with the three ladies getting married. This movie is a typical romantic comedy from 1980s led by local superstars Sorapong Chatre and Jarunee Sooksawad. It also shows modern women vision and status in 1980s Thai society.

Two young people are married following their parents agreement but the man doesn't love his wife and still continue to visit his mistress. Despite all her attemps, the young lady cannot succeed to get love from her husband and left. His husband finally understands that her mistress has an awful mind and try to get her wife's love back. Is it too late?

Aissa is a girl coming from a poor family in a slum. She acts and fights like a boy. Her best friend is a boy called Tom. while still being young children, they are separated as Tom's parents are moving away but they promise each other to be united again. Once becoming an adult, Aissa has to face mafia people in the slum where she is living. Matter turn worse when her sister is kidnapped by the mafia. She then tries to fight them in her own way. Tom, now being a policeman, also fights against the local mafia. They help each other ignoring their real identity.

During childhood, young boy Lor (ลอ) is educated in a house where the father has two daughters already, i.e. Pheuan and Phaeng. Lor is always helping and supporting the youngest girl Phaeng (กวนตั้งแต่เป็นเด็ก). Phaeng (แพง) is always crying when Lok and Pheuan (เพื่อน) start playing games without her. Lor considers her as a younger sister. All the three friends are now adults. The movie features a nice representation of Thailand countryside life, i.e. rice harvest as a community with songs to encourage themselves and to make the work more fun, catch fishes in traditional way with a ingenious fish net, get lotus from pond, traditional way of doing rice fields with buffalo cart. Phaeng always tries to ruin Lor's courtship with Pheuan. Both start to be upset with Phaeng. Ien, another villager, tries to seduce Phaeng during the temple fair (หนังใหญ่). Lor is a perfect bachelor as he does not drink, does not play cards and is working hard. He is fianced with Pheuan and his wedding shall happen soon. Ieng asks Phaeng for wedding through his father but Phaeng refuses categorically as she doesn't love him. Finally Lor finally smiles regarding Phaeng's stubbornness. Jealousy starts between the two women especially as Lor is fiance with Pheuan. Phaeng tries to conquer Lor back by doing dishes he likes. He eats all the sticky rice not because it is delicious but because she made efforts to do it. Lok is surprised to know through Pheuan that Phaeng also loves him as he always considered her as a younger sister (น้อง). Lor promises in front of Buddha amulet to love Pheuan. If he fails the promise, he shall die! Lor cannot talk to Phaeng anymore following promise to Pheuan. Phaeng disappears and Lor misses her. Lor falls severely sick as he catches malaria. The doctor's assistant, Boontim, is a former love of Pheuan. The doctor's assistant offers gifts to Pheuan. Her heart starts to tangle. The assistant makes Pheuan discover the modern life (cosmetics, tennis, dance, car). Boontim asks Pheuan in marriage. Phaeng challenges Pheuan regarding her love towards Lor. Pheuan and Boontim represent the urban Thailand. Phaeng and Lor represent the rural Thailand. Boonpheng is a liar and a butterfly. Pheuan goes back to Lor (ปลาตัวเล็ก) and get all credits when Lok recovers from malaria. It makes Phaeng sad. Lor discovers a letter where Phaeng's friend writes the whole story about Pheuan's bad behavior behind Lor's back. Lor knows Phaeng's real value. They finally spent a night together despite Lor being married to Pheuan. Phaeng is now pregnant and refuses to say who is the father despite being severely beaten by her father. Lor decides to flee with her. Pheuan is aware of this and intentionally forgets to tell Phaeng that a ladder level is broken. During early morning Phaeng falls and finally
