Phuta (Bin Banleurit) and his father (Somkuan Krajangsat) are living together. The father has a new young wife named Malasee (พิสมัย ภุมา). Lamtien (สรารัตน์ หรุ่มเรืองวงศ์) is Phuta’s girlfriend but her parents refuse this love as Phuta is poor. Phuta (ใจบุญ) is keeping cattle. White Padungkan (ไวท์ ผดุงการ) and Joomjim Khemlek are local drunken ruffians. They beat a beggar (ขอทาน) (Sompong Phonmitr) but Phuta helps. As the beggar has not eaten for days, Phuta gives him his meal. It is in fact an angel (เทวดา). He thanks Phuta for his kindness and promises to help him every time he will ask. Ruffians steal Phuta's cattle while Phuta is resting. Asking for help to the angel, Phuta gets back his cattle. Lamtien wishes to flee with him but Phuta cannot accept such way of acting. Malasee tries to seduce him (ความชั่ว) but he refuses her advances as she is his father's new wife. She complains to the father that Phuta tried to seduce her so the father chases Phuta from his home. Phuta misses his mother (บูชาแม่) so he takes her portrait before leaving. Lamtien's mother wishes to organize a wedding for her (สาวเต็มตัว). The angel gives a treasure but Phuta refuses to take it. At local temple fair, Phuta and Lantiem see White and Malasee together (น่าเกลียด). Phuta's father is getting seriously sick as Malasee is not taking care of him. After a fight, Phuta chases White and Malasee from his home. Lamtiem is now having a fiance as her parents force her (รักไปเอง). The mother gives Phuta a last chance to gather a dowry before the next day. The three ruffians, aware of the treasure and the angel, try to get it. The treasure belongs to Phuta as it is linked to his good deeds during previous lives. Ruffians ask for it and the angel finally accepts but the coffer only includes snakes (บุญไม่มี). The two coffers (บุญเก่า) are found near Phuta’s bed when he wakes up. Indebted, White sells his Buddha amulet to ผีนรก. Phuta was always doing good deeds while others were misbehaving. Marasee and White finally kill each other. Phuta and Lamtien can have happiness.

Nat has to go as Sopha is a good customer of the antic shop. She calls him boyfriend (แฟน). Devalee follows Nat to know the truth. Undertaker Sor Asanajinda warns Sopha not to disturb Nat anymore but she refuses. Sopha hires thugs to threaten Devalee. Krieng (ชมพู ฟรุตตี้), her younger brother, is shot while trying to protect her. Thugs decide to burn the body to avoid any revenge from the spirit but they have to flee as Sor and Devalee arrive. Krieng, as a ghost, visits her sister. Sopha hires thugs to kidnap Devalee but Krieng spirit stops them. Announcing they are facing a ghost, Sopha agrees to hire master Lor Tok. Lor Tok fails and gets stabbed by Krieng. Devalee refuses to incinerate Krieng's body until he gets his revenge. Devalee and Nat meet Krieng but uncle Sor refuses to believe them. Sor checks the body while all friends are going to the disco. Krieng punches some ruffians. Finally Sor understands that Krieng’s spirit is around! As ruffians wish to get rid of the family and Krieng by burning the house to prevent the spirit from harassing them, Krieng has to intervene and to kill the ruffians by burning them alive. Police suspect uncle Sor. Ruffian's head and Sopha hire a new occult master (หมอผี). They kidnap Devalee to attract Krieng. Nat and his friends succeed to release Devalee. Meanwhile Krieng kills the remaining ruffians and Sopha becomes crazy. Krieng can leave (ลาก่อน) as he has taken his revenge.

The rich local man Boon increases the interest rate so much so they have no way to pay back to get the house. They finally steal the debt recognition from him through a fight. Police is now looking for Kam Sing and Bulong. Kam Sing and the rich man's daughter Nit (อภิญญา คุ้มตะบุตร) know each other since childhood. Kam Sing finally decides to flee to Bangkok. Her mother doesn't wish him to become a Thai boxer (เจ็บตัว). Suchao Pongwilai is the heartless owner of ring. Sompong Phonmitr tries to abuse from Kam Sing. As all chances have been exhausted (หมดสภาพ), Bulong fights on a Thai boxing ring but is severely injured to the brain. While getting Bulong out of hospital, they are caught by police. Kam Sing ends up in jail as he was the one to hit Boon. Kam Sing is sent to isolation quarters (คุกมืด) as Kam Sing hits an inmate wishing to have relationship with him. His mother, tired by his behavior, becomes a nun (บวชชี). Knowing this, Kam Sing promises himself to become a good guy and to do something his mother would be proud of him. He decides to become a professional Thai boxer. Kam Sing wins all his fights as he is training very hard. He shall now face Kowit Wattanakul, Thai boxing champion. To trick the match, Suchao Pongwilai puts Kowit in a lower category so Kam Sing needs to lose weight to match 70kg causing him to become much weaker. Following an epic fight, Kam Sing finally defeats Kowit. He is back to his town and is shown as an example. He left as a pariah and comes back as a champion. He can now show to his mother that he really changed.

Thai movie นวลฉวี was released in year 1985 and lasts 1h56mn. It has received three Thai awards. Somsak Chaisongkram and two other men carry a dead body at nighttime. Utit (Apichat Halamjiak) is waiting for them and they take the body away by car. On the following day, Sompong Phonmitr finds a woman body floating in the river. It makes news headlines. The body is identified to be a nurse called Nuan Chawee (Sinjai Hongthai). This movie deals about the police enquiry to find who has killed the nurse. Utit (Apichat Halamjiak) is her husband, a doctor, and is claiming her dead body. Utit is interrogated by police. นาย Cheut and his wife, also a nurse, are suspected. Tuwit (Krailat Kriengkrai) is suspected as he used to love Nuan but as this love was not reciprocal, he married another lady. The movie has flashbacks between the investigation and Nuan’s story. Nuan and the doctor met each other in the hospital. Nuan fell in love with him and accepted to become his girlfriend. The doctor was going to be sent to Lampang. Nuan was waiting eagerly for the doctor to be back. Nuan presented her father (Somkuan Krajangsat) to doctor Utit as she hoped Utit would ask her hand for wedding. The love was not shared. Utit started to be fed up with Nuan (รำคาญ). Nuan was upset. Fed up by the doctor's lack of responsibility (ไม่ยอมรับผิดชอบ), she threatened to shoot him if he didn't marry. Under pressure, doctor Utit accepted. But the doctor’s mother (Sarinthip Siriwan) refused to accept Nuan. Nuan and her father complained to the hospital’s director. It caused Utit to be very upset and he hit Nuan. Nuan saw doctor Utit with another girl (Wiyada Umarin). Two brothers were involved in the murder. As Nuan learnt Utit had also married Umarin 6 days after her, she threatened the doctor to go to justice. Utit was fed up with Nuan as she could really mess up his future and position in the society. Wiyada saw her a competitor. So everything was in place to get rid of Nuan and to kill her with the help of the local undertaker (สัปเหร่อ) Somsak and the two brothers as intermediates. Wiyada and doctor Utit finally recognize their culpability. It is based on a real story, which happened in year 1959.

He loses memory, ends up on a remote island and meets Nit (Jarunee Sooksawad). Love emerges between them causing Nit’s friend, Cheut (Piya Trakulrard), to be disappointed. Pla finds back his son. Siem brings Nit to Bangkok to his father's home. Following surgery, Siem (Kraison) remembers Suwalee but forgets Nit. As Nit sees Marasee having an affair with another man, Nit is accused of stealing jewellery and leaves their home. Luckily she succeeds to become a movie star. Real old standalone theaters are shown with huge real billboards of Jarunee Sooksawad (โรงเพชรรามา - Pratunam, โรงเมโทร - Ratchathewi, โรงหนังแกรนด์ - Wang Uurapha). She even wins a Thai oscar award. Disappointed by Siem and despite fame, Nit wishes to go back to her island. Cheut, looking for Nit, punches Siem, who then recovers his memory. He rushes to the island to find Nit. They finally reconcile. Cheut ends up with Suwalee.

This movie is based on Southern Thai Local Literature. Twelve daughters are abandoned by their parents, who are too poor to educate so many children. The twelve daughters are rescued by a "Yak" woman who promises to take care about them as her own daughters. She deceived them and force them to drink a potion that transform the young girls into beautiful maidens. They escape and are rescued by a Prince, who falls in love with the youngest girl, called Sip Song. He agreed to marry the twelve girls. Once again, the "Yak" woman deceived and force them to drink a potion that makes them 8 months pregnant. The Prince, disappointed by this unexpected pregnancy, expels them and they are imprisoned in a cave, where the "Yak" woman has their eyes removed in order to make an ever young potion for her. Blind and with no food no eat, the ladies eat their new born babies except the son of Sip Song who is raised by a gentle "Yak". The son is called Phrae Rot Meri. Getting older he ran a cock fight to make a living for the 12 ladies. Becoming an adult, he has a deal with the Prince and goes to the "Yak" country to get more magic potions in order to get freedom for the 12 ladies including his mother. But the "Yak" woman is doing all possible tricks to stop him...

A fake taxi driver (No taxi meter in 1981 on taxis!) captures a young lady student. His boss, a mysterious and unscrupulous doctor (หมอ) Kampon, takes away her eyes. One of the eyes cannot be used as the fake taxi driver punches her. Da, the doctor’s wife, is blind following a car accident so Kampon needs to find new eyes (ดวงตา). Noi (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Pol,a young couple, are married but have financial difficulties. Pol is looking for a job. The bad servants capture a drunken tramp to steal his eyes. His eyes cannot be used as they are sick (ตายฟรีๆสองคน!). So Kampon shall select next time the donor by himself. Kampon meets Pol and is immediately interested by his eyes. Nang Soi (Preeya Roongrueng), Kampon's servant, is possessed by the two dead spirits (ผีเข้า), i.e. the lady student and the tramp, while walking near their graves. A shaman (หมอผี) is needed. The shaman recommends to put drawing representing religious mystical symbols (ยันต์) and sacred threads (สายสิญจน์) in front of the house to repel ghosts. Kampon's servant comes to take Pol to work. It is a trick to take his eyes to give to his blind wife. The body is thrown away in the same cemetery as the previous bodies (ศพ). Noi has bad premonition about her husband. One of servant Off wishes to help some villagers friends to make love filters so he tells them where to find a fresh dead body, i.e. Pol, to make corpse oil (น้ำมันพราย). Thanks to Pol’s eyes, Da can see again. A shaman (อาจารย์) wakes up Pol's spirit by wishing to get corpse oil (ผีตาโบ๋). It turns to a fiasco. Pol wants his eyes back (เอาลูกตาของกูคืนมา) and wishes to kill Kampon. Noi is worried about her husband and visits Kampon to get news. There is opposition between the modern doctor (นักวิทยาศาสตร์) and the ghost. The doctor has to accept ghost reality and asks help from a traditional shaman called Ket! Pol ghost visits his own house and discusses with his youngest daughter. Only young children are not afraid of ghosts. Pol ghost terrorizes local villagers. Pol appears in Noi's dreams and asks her to remove the sacred items in front of Kampon's house. He is now able inside the house, gets revenge and his eyes back. Shaman Ket cannot help and escapes death as Noi asks Pol ghost to stop his killings. Pol ghost is reduced to ashes and worms as the sunny morning arrives. There is a short funny apparition of legendary comic actor Lor Tok as a guy stealing coconuts at nighttime. As usual in 1980s movies, there is mix of slight horror and comedy with simple Fx effects.

Movie director is พันธุ์เทพ อรรถไกวัลวที. Pisan (Pisarn Akraseranee) is a former boxing champion. He has to quit seven years ago due to a brain issue. He still has a dream to go back on the ring. He is leaving alone with his son Chapan (เดชดวง อนุศาสนนันท์), being seven years old. He is divorced with Farida (ฟารีดา บุณยศักดิ์), who left him for a richer man, i.e. Nop (Manop Aussawathep) seven years ago. Pisan often drinks and gambles (พนัน). He bets 100 Baht and wins 150 000 Baht. He buys a horse for his son as a gift. The horse joins horse racing competition. The horse falls and is injured. Being also at the horse racing club, Farinda meets Chapan, her son, for the first time. Pisan is still very upset and refuses Farinda to tell his son that she is her mother as she left them seven years ago. Pisan told Chapan that his mother was dead (ตายแล้ว). Farida knows she is guilty and wishes to take care of Chapan also. She offers expensive gifts (ของแพงๆ). Krai Kanchit and Pao Porapak manage an underground casino. While betting, Pisan and Nop meet. Nop tries to convince him that Chapan still needs a mother. Pisan refuses. 20 000 Baht debt happens as Pisan gets upset. He cannot find any friends to lend him 20 000 baht. He has to ask Farinda. Krai still comes to get the horse as he doesn't believe Pisan can pay back the debt. A fighting erupts and police catches Pisan. Pisan has to stay in jail a while. Chapan stays in Farinda's home as his father Pisan forces him to go there. He would prefer to stay with uncle Sompong Phonmitr or with นภาพร หงสกุล. Chapan, learning that Farida is his mother, rejects her as she is not living with her father anymore. Pisan even asks Farida to come back. The boxing ring manager (Kamthorn Suwanpiyasiri) accepts Pisan back as boxer despite the health risks as Pisan wants to gain money to build a future for his son (studies, house). They train together. Farida gives also support (กำลังใจ) to Pisan. Farinda decides to go back living with her son. The boxing match happens. Pisan wins the first part of the match but the youth of his opponent allows him to come back. Pisan's vision starts to alter as he gets hit at the head. He is knocked down twice but refuses to stop. He finally wins his match but collapses in the cloakroom. Before dying, he asks Chapan to stay with Farida, who is a good person (ต้องการพ่อ / ต้องการอยู่กับพ่อ).

Thai movie ขุนเดช was released in year 1980. It takes place in Sukhothai historical park area before it became an official park (1988) as there was still heavy vegetation around the Buddha statues. The movie lasts 1h46mn. This movie was only released under VHS in Thailand and Sweden. Two men are killed by Khun Det (Sombat Methanee) as they are digging in order to steal Buddhist artifacts. Ruffians arrive in the village and hire farmers to dig around in order to find relics. Village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) Sompong (Sompong Phonmitr) refuses to help as it is ancestor's' heritage so it shall not be sold to strangers. Sompong has a mute daughter (Pornpan Ketmamatsu). The leader (เจ้านาย)(ภูมิ พัฒนายุทธ) is looking for Buddha statues (พระสักองค์). Sompong informs the temple abbot that the ruffians even dig near old sacred pagodas but nothing the abbot can do (สัตว์นรก). Khun Det, aware, chases away the workers. Khun Det is then captured, crucified and suspended to a headless Buddha giant statue. Khun Det is rescued by Sompong and his daughter. Khun Det repairs an old gun (ปืนเก่า). As the ruffians are evacuating Buddha statues by boat, Khun Det sinks the boat thanks to his gun. It reminds the scene of Naresuan 2 with the King shooting very far away with a gun to defeat the Burmese king. The leader, seeing that Khun Det is bringing them serious troubles again decide to flee by car with some Buddha statues. Khun Det prevents him to flee by destroying his car and killing him. The father (Somjin Thammatat), in ire as his son is dead, storms the village with ruffians but is unable to find Khun Det. They burn belongings of villagers and threaten the abbot. The father destroys pagodas and tries to bury a big Buddha statue. Khun Det prevents them so the father finally calls Manop Aussawathep, a professional killer. He shots Sompong. This movie also reminds of western such as “The Magnificent Seven” with people protect villagers against ruffians as there is no police. Manop then buries men alive to force Khun Det to show himself. The villagers fight back. The father and his ruffians are killed. Khun Det defeats Manop through an epic final fight. It is a strong movie with violent deaths (heads cut as ruffians cut Buddha statues’ heads). Khun Det finally leaves. A Thai serie ขุนเดช was released in year 1999 with Phongphat Wachirabanjong. Another version was released in year 2012.

Movie director is เพชร ราชภรณ์. A group of six friends (including เด่น ดอกประดู่, Der Doksadao, Thep Po-ngam) are doing magic tricks and selling medicine to cure toothache, but it fails to be a good business. Running out of money, they decide to rob a bank. Sithao Petcharoen and Thuam Thoranong are among the policemen being warned about a robbery. Sompong Phonmitr, as head of police, orders the Police to surround the bank. The six friends succeed to flee by disguising themselves as ladies. They put a fake bomb around a group of ruffians (Dam Datsakorn, Lak Apichat, Pipop Pupinyo, Somsak Chaisongkram, อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์...), who promised to get revenge knowing it was a trick. The bank boss is Boo Wibunnan. The police head is upset with three policemen as they let the six fake ladies escape. They must catch them back to erase their mistakes. The six friends have a car accident but get help from truck drivers led by young lady Ae (Nipaporn Nongnuch). Ae invites them to her home. There, they find Boo, Ae's father, playing cards with other men. Luckily, Boo does not recognize them. Boo is losing money. As Tok is knowing card tricks, he gets the money back. The six friends prefer to leave afraid that Boo would recognize them. They decide to look for a job in Bangkok. Ae invites them to her home in Bangkok and guarantees that her father will find jobs for them. Going to Bangkok, Tok leaves the bank bag full of money to his aunt Malee Wetpraseri. The friends then separate to avoid being caught by the police. Tok meets his old old friend Elvis (วิสูตร ตุงคะรัตน์ - Thai Elvis), who invites him. In Ae’s house, the friends meet the aunt Chosri Misommon and Ae’s elder sister Ann (Duangcheewan Komolsen). The ruffians try to take revenge over the six friends, but finally they give up as they see the Police chasing the friends. Back at his aunt’s house, Tok finds she has died, and the money has disappeared. At the funerals, Sukon Koewliam announced to Tok that aunt Hom had used the money to donate to the local Buddhist temple to build a sacred chapel. Klom (Nirut Sirijanya) and Sae (Naiyana Shewanan) love each other. They wish to die together as their love story is impossible as Klom is poor and Sae's father wants her to marry kamnan Oi's son. Oi (Sawin Sawangrat) is an influential local ruffian. The son CheunKlan is played by veteran actor Settha Sirachaya. Some local ghosts (ผีกระสือ and ผีกระหัง) wish to help them as there are already enough spirits in the graveyard (ป่าช้า)! The male spirit helps Klom to give a lesson to CheunKlan and his sbires (มือปืน). The spirits have invited Dracula (ผีฝรั่ง) for a meeting in Thailand to discuss about issues they are facing (overpopulation in cemetery, people doing less donations to spirits...). The two fathers want CheunKlan and Sae (ลูกไม่รักดี) to get engaged. Dracula (Lor Tok) wants to discover Thailand (spicy food and disco). Dracula meets Oum (Wiyada Umarin), a young lady just dropped by her boyfriend. Sae simulates to be possessed (ผีเข้า) but both fathers hire a spirit doctor (หมอผี) to chase the spirit. Sae finally passed away (สิ้นใจ). To help Klom, the two ghosts prepare a plan, one is going to see the hell guardian (Sithao Petcharoen) to ask for clemency and one is possessing the body to prevent decay (เน่าเปื่อย). Klom visits hell to find Sae. He sees some people tortured as they did behave badly in their previous life (member of Parliament having lied and having made false promises...). Corruption is present in hell also! Finally Klong finds Sae in the heaven and get authorization to bring her spirit (วิญญาณ) back to earth. Meanwhile Dracula falls in love with Oum but later on kidnaps also Sae who is back from heaven. This comedy movie starts with a funny idea, sarcastic comments on Thai society but ends up crazily (บ้าบอ) with the real movie director complaining on Lor Tok acting as Dracula. Finally all flee in front of a real ghost. Veteran actor Sithao Petcharoen got a Thai cinema award for his comic role as hell guardian. A second part called หักเหลี่ยมแดร๊กคูล่า was released 7 years later in 1986.

มนต์รักอสูร is a Thai movie released in year 1978. Nam Pheung (Naowarat Yooktanun) is a teacher but she needs to miss school often as her parents are sick. The father (เชาว์ แคล่วคล่อง) cannot see anymore. The mother (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) is sick also. The school headmaster (ครูใหญ่) cannot keep her in the school but proposes his help as he loves Nam Pheung. She refuses. Phan (Sompong Phonmitr) recommends Nam Pheung to Teut (Pisarn Akraseranee), a rich man looking for a domestic helper and teacher for his son. The son (Pete Thongjure) is very badly educated and doesn't listen to anybody (เด็กอาละวาด). The father is alcoholic and has a bad temper (คนใจยักษ์ใจหมา). Nam Pheung shall get 30 000 bath for one year and her parents to be sent to hospital in Bangkok so she accepts. Villagers comment that Teut bought Nam Pheung. The son Nan dislikes her as he is worried she wants to replace his deceased mother (อีตาหวาน). Despite her willingness to improve the house (better food, birds), Nan still dislikes her (เกลียดมัน, อยากเป็นแม่เลี้ยงของฉัน, พ่อเอาเป็นเมีย). The headmaster is still chasing Nam Pheung for wedding but she still refuses. Nan invents that he saw them kissing. So Teut is upset by Nam Pheung and forces her one night treating her like a slave (นาย / ทาส). Theuan (Anchalee Chaisiri), sister of the deceased wife, still dreams of making Teut her husband. She receives a letter sent by Nan asking for help. While visiting his tea factory, Teut is injured at the head. Nam Pheung is acting as nurse. Theuan hasn't a good behavior (beer, smoking) compared to Nam Pheung. Theuan arranges to chase away the domestic helpers close to Nam Pheung and Nam Pheung herself. Theuan has to do the cooking and cleaning by herself as she has chased everybody out of the house and it turns to be a disaster. Teut misses Nam Pheung. Theuan wishes to go back to Bangkok. Finally Teut declares his love to Nam Pheung and Nan considers her as his new mother. The movie is ending too fast. Probably part of the movie end has been cut. The movie is lasting 1h43mn and this version is coming from a Vhs copy. A first movie version was released in year 1954 and Thai TV series were released in years 1989 and 2004. Following the success of romantic movie รักเอย, the movie producer used the two same main actors. The movie was shot in 9 days only.

He then threatens passengers to rob them. Krung tries to stop him, but two other acolytes with Lak neutralize him. The bus is stuck in mud due to heavy rain. Passengers push the bus and a fight occurs. Lak is about to shoot Krung, but Naowarat shoots him first. The bus continues its trip, but is stopped again. This time, they are stopped by professional robbers and brought to a remote camp. Sorapong and Krung agree to flee. At nighttime, they neutralize the guards. Fighting and shooting occur. Some bus passengers are killed, such as ภัทราวดี and Sayan. Robbers and other groups chase the bus to get revenge. More passengers are killed, but they succeed to flee. Through the radio, they do learn that there is a ruffian among them, who placed a time bomb in the bus. It is hidden inside the aunt's bag, but she is unaware… Pinyo jumps in the water with the bag and sacrifices his life. Doctor Nirut helps Ratanaporn to deliver her baby in the bus.

Ruffians are the ones to fall in a trap. Heavy fightings and shootings happen. All ruffians are defeated or killed. Sa ong is killed. Movie ‘9 พยัคฆ์ราช’ was released in year 1977 and lasts 1h43mn. Tai’s grandmother (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) is about to die and tells her that Prachuap is not her real father. Choompu likes Kan and lies that Tai already has a husband. Tai is disappointed that her father forced her to go down a wrong path. She flees and meets a monk that recommends her to go back to the right path. Kan is a policeman and receives the duty from his boss (จรูญ สินธุเศรษฐ์) to catch the cobra lady. Tai asks for a meeting one to one with the head of the police. Kan comes also. Tai is aware Kan is there. She has important information to share about Thailand security. After doing bad things, she wants to do good things for the nation. Chased by the police, her family is now involved in weapons traffic instead of jewelry traffic. The lady boss (Runglawan Sripatimakul) appreciates Tai and gives her more responsibilities. A new mission is to kill policeman Kan, who is becoming a threat for them... Ruffian Dom (โดม สิงห์โมฬี) said he can manage by himself. Tai helps Kan against Dom. Kan asks Tai to surrender and he will wait for her, but she refuses. Kan gets finally captured by ruffians. Lak and her father release police inspector Kan and open the gates to let police enter. Meanwhile Tai still pretends to be loyal to her boss but the lady boss sees that Tai betrays them. Shootings occur. The lady boss shoots Lak and his father Prachuap. Tai shoots the lady boss but it is too late as Lak and her father are dead. Kan arrests Tai. Finally, Tai is released as she is the lost daughter of the rich people she robbed before!

It is a lost movie in Thailand but it is still available in Hong Kong where it was released under the name 女逃犯 - "Female fugitive" by Ocean Shores video in year 1979. A lady boss is suspected by the Hong Kong police to be involved in drugs trafficking. She escapes to the police and flees to Thailand. Pipop Pupinyo is her Thai bodyguard. Drug is transported on the back of elephants in Thai Northern jungle. Eddie (Krai Kanchit) is receptionist of the drug. He is collaborating with Tsai Yang (Sayan Chantaraviboon). They bring a doctor in the jungle to produce proper drug in the Golden Triangle. Eddie, humiliated by Li Yung, strong fighter hired by the drug Queen, contacts inspector Wu (Sombat Methanee). Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng has got a son. She offers him a camera for his birthday. While running, the boy hits a Chinese lady tourist and cameras are exchanged by mistake. The drug Queen sends Li Yung to kill Eddie. The little boy takes pictures of the murder. The murderer chases the little boy. They enter a parade for Songkran. He hits again the same Chinese lady tourist and cameras are exchanged again. Li Yung just gets a camera without film. The drug Queen orders to kill the kid. Elephants are used to carry drug. Thanks to helicopter, Wu succeeds to locate the drug factories in the jungle. Through Sompong Phonmitr, Sombat locates Tsai Yang (small fry) in order to find the drug Queen. Li Yung tries to kidnap the kid but fails. Wu brings troubles to the traffickers by using dogs to sniff them. Lin, the Chinese tourist, befriends with Chang, café owner. The drugs queen hires Tsai Yang's girlfriend as she knows she is upset by her poor life. She uses her to convince Wu to accept bribes but he refuses. Wu is finally defeated by Pinyo due to a knife injury caused by the drug Queen. The knife is poisoned. Wu was a former drug addict but he stopped a long time ago by going to a famous Buddhist temple called Wat Tham Krabok (วัดถ้ำกระบอก) . Tsai Yang's girlfriend realizing her mistake, releases Wu by getting rid of Lor Tok. A chase is happening to catch the drug Queen. A fighting erupts between Li Yung and the drug Queen in the helicopter. Both fall and die.

It was his first movie. Producer is Chaiyo Productions. The movie was successful and got 1.4M Baht revenue in Bangkok and 3M Baht in other provinces. A man is killed by a Yak statue as he was stealing a Buddha statue from a temple. A weird egg falls from space to the earth. The egg is rejected by a snake. Inside the frog, there is a beautiful princess (นางงาม)(สุภัค ลิขิตกุล), named Shaba, wearing Thai traditional dress. The frog takes refuge in an elderly man’s (คุณตา) home. Her gods’ parents (including Prim Praphaporn) are missing their daughter. The father, Ma Sing, comes to earthen world to find her daughter. Thai comic actor Thep Thienchai appears with a western spaghetti music introduction. Allen (Sombat Methanee) and Sompong Phonmitr are scientists currently staying in a forest camp. The deity Ma Sing helps one worker, called Soda, attacked by a snake. To thank him, Allen promises to help him to find his daughter even if it is hard to believe it is a princess. Funny sequence occurs with Sompong watching two young naked ladies playing with water in a forest pond. A gorilla asks him to borrow his glasses to watch also. On the following morning, they split to look for the princess. Allen and Sompong go together but they are attacked by a rhinoceros and tiger. Ma Sing and Soda go together but they are attacked by small dragons (สัตว์ประหลาด). Soda is killed. The action is probably shot in Nan area as it features weird sand formation. Due to the danger, Ma Sing asks Allen (นาย) to go back. Sudden inondation occurs. Sompong is eaten by a crocodile. The uncle rescues Allen. Allen recovers in uncle's house thanks to the princess Shaba. The uncle tells her to be careful with Bangkokian people (ชาวกรุง, ใจบาป) but she trusts Allen. Allen and Shaba leave for Bangkok and visit Wat Arun. She goes to Wat Po with a Yak. She invites one of the Chinese guardian statues to join them. They arrive in hotel Dusit Thani. The Chinese deity wishes to go to massage (อาบอบนวด)! Misunderstanding occurs between the Yak and Chinese guardian so they start to fight (ยักษ์อาละวาด). The movie ends up by a Karma lesson.

Three men are looking in a remote cave for a mystical cat having real diamond eyes. Chat is the one who finds it first but fighting happens with another man. They shoot each other. The third one being a Prince (หม่อม)(Manop Aussawathep), who finally keeps the jewel and doesn't give it back to Chat's daugher. Ten years have passed. The prince is now disabled, lost his wife and child. The jewel brought him bad luck as he is not the real owner. Niphon (Surasit Sattayawong), Tawan Siriwat, Sisala Thongtara, Sukon Koewliam are his domestic helpers. Tawan Siriwat hires a young lady to get the jewel from the Prince. Meanwhile the prince asks Yot (Phairoj Jaising), being a police inspector (สารวัตร), to look for Chat's daughter called Bussayarat. Bussayarat is now a nurse (Naiyana Shewanan). Sompong Phonmitr is her father and wishes to marry her to a local ruffian in order to get money to continue to buy alcohol. Yot helps Bussayarat aggressed by those ruffians. Yot brings Bussayarat to Bangkok in order to meet the Prince believing he found Chat's daughter. As Bussayarat has still a father, the Prince claims she is not the Bussayarat he is looking for but keeps her as a nurse. Niphon introduces to the Prince a fake Bussayarat played by Malalin Bonnak. The Prince asks for 7 days to ensure (สอบถาม) she is the real one. Meanwhile Tawan Siriwat also introduces to the Prince another fake Bussayarat played by Khomapat Attaya. The diamond is sacred (ของศักดิ์สิทธิ์) so it will bring bad luck to malevolent people. Tawan Siriwat, disguised as a ghost (ผี) frightens Malalin to chase her away. Khomapat also faces many black cats in her room and flees. Niphon is married to Nuan (สุพรรณ บูรณะพิมพ์). Nuan is elder sister of Malalin. Niphon is thinking to flee with Malalin when they get the diamond. As Khomapat is in hospital following her shock, Niphon cuts her oxygen approvisionnement to get rid of a competitor. Seeing Yot loving Bussayarat, Malalin is jealous and tries to take Yot away from Bussayarat. Meanwhile Yot is sent by the prince to meet Phra lo (Lor Tok) in order to bring back the diamond. Tawan Siriwat sends some ruffians to steal it but it fails. A ceremony to handover the diamond (มอบเพชร) to Malalin is organised. It ends badly with Tawan Siriwat trying to steal the diamond and injuring Malalin. Yot shots Tawan Siriwat. Being disfigured, Malalin asks Bussayarat to get the diamond for her so that she can have chirurgical operation. Having the diamond, Malalin prepares to flee with Niphon. Khomapat's aunt called Nathalie shots Malalin to get the diamond. Many deaths happen due to the evil power of the diamond (อำนาจของเพชรตาแมว). Nathalie becomes crazy after Niphon steals the diamond from her. Niphon is chased by the police. He shots by mistake Nuan and finally falls from a building. During an official ceremony, the Prince gives back the diamond to Bussayarat.

Et (Kanchit Kwanpracha) wishes to get revenge on those who cause his father to die. Sompong Phonmitr and Et go on countryside. They meet Lor Tok, old friend of Sompong. They meet Luechai Natnat, who almost runs over them with his car. A fighting oppose villagers and ruffians led by Luechai. A one to one fight happens between Et and a ruffian. Et wins. While inspecting trees trunks in the forest, Et helps Lek (Aranya Namwong), whose horse gets carried away. Romance happens and they become lovers. Lek is the daughter of Kamnan (เชาว์) and Luechai’s sister. So Lek doesn’t want this love story to be public. Luechai wishes to kill Et. While Et is going to work by motorbike, he is chased by a car driven by Luechai and his ruffians. They shoot him and Et’s motorbike ends up in a pond. The remaining sequence ends here. It was the period where Kanchit Kwanpracha was one the new main actors pushed by the Thai movie industry in order to replace Mitr Chaibancha, who died accidentally in year 1970.

Thai movie เพลงสวรรค์นางไพร is one of them and was released in year 1971. It features nine songs. Director is พิชิต มีชัย. This movie was a lost movie in Thailand. In year 2013, a last copy was found in a Thai temple in the North of Thailand. Only three reels of the movie are left, so around 1h30mn. This movie reminds of famous movie “Mon Rak Luk Thung” (มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง - 1970) as it features many songs and various couples involving romance and jealousy. Following movie “Mon Rak Luk Thung” success, many romantic song movies (หนังเพลง) were released in the following months and years trying to surf on a similar popular wave.

Actress Chatchadaporn Laksanawed (ชัชฎาพร ลักษณาเวช) is a former Miss Thailand (นางสาวไทย). As it is a 16mm movie, the movie needs to be dubbed. As there is no dubbing script left, the movie is mute. Anucha loves secretly Chatchadaporn. Chatchadaporn is the daughter of a rich family. Mitr and Chatchadaporn know each other while playing kite. Argument between Mitr and Anucha happens as Mitr's kite causes Chatchadaporn's kite to fall. On the next day, kite playing continues and Mitr's kite causes Chatchadaporn to fall in a pond. Daonoi (ตลกตามนาง) and Sompong (ตลกตามพระ) are playing support role actors accompanying the main actor (Mitr) / main actress (Chatchadaporn). Old maiden Chosri Misommon tries to seduce Mitr through delicious dishes. During nighttime Mitr dreams about Chatchadaporn. Chatchadaporn's father (Op Boonthit) is the house owner where Mitr and Sompong live. As they have no money to pay the rent, they have to work as gardeners in Chatchadaporn’s house. Mitr is useless and is fired. While going back home, Mitr helps Chatchadaporn aggressed by three ruffians. She starts to appreciate Mitr. Mitr tries to see Chatchadaporn in her house and disguise himself as lion dancer but he is discovered by the father. Mitr and Chatchadaporn spend one night together. Finally their relationship is accepted as Mitr is a good young man. Mitr is also the son of a rich family. Mitr's mother accepts reluctantly the engagement. Mitr needs to go to countryside for business purpose. Chatchadaporn is pregnant. On the countryside a young lady is fond of Mitr but in fact she is sent by Mitr's mother in order to drunk him and take advantage of him at bedtime. Mitr's mother convinces her that Mitr will not marry her. Chatchadaporn’s father is sick. They have to sell their house. As her father dies, Chatchadaporn goes to Bangkok to find a job. Chatchadaporn ends up in jail after stabbing her employer trying to rape her. Anucha is now a policeman. Chatchadaporn gives her child to Anucha to ensure it can get a good future. Mitr’s mother, being sick, dies also. Before her death, she tells the truth about Chatchadaporn. So Mitr looks for her. Meanwhile with no goal in her life, Chatchadaporn tries to get suicide but a nun prevents to do so. Mitr finally finds her but she refuses to disrobe. Mitr then educates his daughter. Sompong Phonmitr (สมพงษ์ พงษ์มิตร) is the director and is also playing a comic role in his own movie.

They finally get reunited thanks to Sompong Phonmitr. This movie features sequence shot in famous Daimaru former shopping mall. Prachuap has a leg injury and is visited by twin ladies (real singers อารยา ปาริชาติ ฉายาลักษณ์). Finally the parents let Jub Jaeng go with Sombat. Khomapat and her mum are upset about the gifts bought by Sombat to Jub Jaeng. Sombat tries to end the dispute with Khomapat but it ends up badly. While walking on the beach, he gets stabbed by ruffians. Khomapat gets also aggressed by ruffians on the beach. Khomapat tries to hit Jub Jaeng again but she fights back and finally decides to quit this crazy house. Prachuap and Sombat finally understand Khomapat’s bad games. Sombat rushes after Jub Jaeng and they finally reconcile.

Yong meets Nam Pheung (Petchara Chaowarat) and Sarai (มิสฮันหวา), daughters of subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Lor Tok. Yong is interested in Sarai but Nam Pheung doesn't trust him. Sompong Phonmitr, subdistrict headman's domestic helper, also dislikes Yong. Nam Pat, subdistrict headman's wife, is aggressed while meeting her lover Phi Bun, who is killed. Subdistrict headman Lor Tok is aware his wife was having a lover but forgives her. A new chief district officer (นายอำเภอคนใหม่) called Tamanoon (Adul Dulyarat) visits subdistrict headman's house. He is widowed with three kids. Yong and Sarai love each other but Nam Pheung (เด็กบ้า) tries to break their relationship and wishes to push Sarai toward the new chief district officer by using Prachuap to write false letters. Aunt Chan (Somjit Sapsamruey) has debts towards the subdistrict headman so Yong, being her nephew, repays the debt by working in their house. Yong is a music teacher. Yong helps Tamanoon aggressed by ruffians. Tamanoon asks for Sarai's hand so Yong decides to flee with Sarai. Mae Pat wishes to join them to be Sarai's domestic helper. Nam Pheung hears them and informs Tamanoon. During a celebration organised by the subdistrict headman, they wish to flee but Nam Pheung brings mess again and foils their plan. So finally Yong ends up kidnapping Nam Pheung. Upset, Yong forces Nam Pheung. But then Yong regrets his act and takes good care of her as she is sick. Choomporn Theppitak is his close friend. At nighttime Nam Pheung tries to flee and is aggressed by ruffians. Yong helps on time but is seriously beaten. Nam Pheung understands he is a nice guy. Yong accepts to bring back Nam Pheung to his father and to face whatever her father, a subdistrict headman, will do to him. Probably shoot him dead! Tamanoon wishes to help and prepares a plan in secret. While the father is unable to decide who to punish, his daughter or Yong, Adinan Singhiran attacks the father per Tamanoon’s plan. Yong, unware of the plan, protects the subdistrict headman and gets slightly injured. The subdistrict headman seeing that Yong is brave and good man forgives to him and allows the wedding. Yong and Nam Pheung can marry happily. The DVD picture is really beautiful. Toh Phanmitr (คุณโต๊ะพันธมิตร) has done a great job by restoring this movie and releasing it.

Jaomanat has two sons Phayoton (Sombat Methanee) and Pontet (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), playing a gay character (กะเทย). Atibadi (Chana Sriubon) has two daughters Romadee (Aranya Namwong) and Deuan Rung (Sopha Sataporn). Atibadi’s wife (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit), called Nimnuan, is dead already but her soul (วิญญาณ) has possessed Jaomanat. Three house spirits (ศาลพระภูมิเจ้าที่) are also involved. Two of them are played by Sukon Koewliam and Sithao Petcharoen. Krai Kanchit, a hairdresser, gets warned by Phayoton not to disturb Jaomanat anymore. Fighting in slum(สลัม) happens between Phayoton and Krai. Krai is defeated. Sawin Sawangrat comes later with more men to beat Phayoton but the three house spirits help him. สุมาลี ทองหล่อ, mother of Khomapat Attaya, wishes to grab Atibadi. Finally Atibadi takes Sumalee as his new wife. During the wedding party, Khomapat comes with Ruj Ronnapop but Khomapat has more interest in Phayoton. Sompong Phonmitr is playing a หมอทำเสน่ห์. Sumalee and Sawin visit the magician at the same time but they get teased again by the spirits. Krai comes at that time and meets Sumalee. They become lovers. Sumalee and Atibadi spend their honeymoon in Pattaya. Deuan Rung likes Phayoton but this one manages to have his brother Pontet taking care of her so that he can be with Romadee. Meanwhile Krai has seduced also Khomapat so causing Sumalee's ire. She sends Pan Borapet and Sawin to teach (สังสอน) Krai but they kill him. Upset, she also kills Pan Borapet and Sawin. Sumalee is feeling sad (น้อยใจ). Op Boonthit identifies that Nimnuan’s sould (วิญญาณ) is inside Jaomanat. A proper ceremony needs to be done. Sumalee wishes to interrupt it. Monks need to be brought. While the soul is about to exit, Sumalee prevents the holy water to be poured. She is struck by a lighting and dies. Ruj is ravaged. Finally Jaomanat can fully recover.

A local troop plays traditional theater (เล่นละคร) in front of a pleased audience. The actors sing and dance well (รำดีดี). Middle age women give flower garlands (ดอกมาลัย) to the handsome main actor. Manager (ผู้จัดการ) Thongdam supervises the troop. Thongdam is fond of a young dancer called Maram but the love is not reciprocal. An old master is always teaching constantly the dancers and singers to look for perfection. Before representations actors pay respect to their master and spirits (ไหว้ครู). The two leading actors are handsome actor Boon Ek (พระเอก) and young lady Kathin (นางเอก). A high society young woman from Bangkok, called Waew, likes the handsome actor (เสียงดี - รูปหล่อ). She has a fiance called Prachalin already. Waew's father wishes to take Boon Ek to Bangkok to become a famous singer in nightclubs. Boon Ek refuses as he cannot leave his master but he falls under Waew's charm (ถูกเสน่ห์). It is the opposite of standard scenario as this time the rich lady seduces the poor man. The troop (โรงละคร) always moves from one temple to another. Beautiful representations with colorful costumes are shown. Manora (โนราห์) dance is like a bird dance. Waew brings Boon Ek to old style nightclub with singers and couples dancing. There is an opposition between traditional arts and modern songs, between Lakorn (ละคร) actors and Bangkok singers. A few beautiful 1960s romantic songs are featured in this two hours movie. Following a trip to Bangkok Boon Ek comes back drunk. He never missed a performance. His performance is a disaster (คนอะไร!) as he is too drunk. He has big hope (มีหวัง) for a career (ดารานักร้อง) in Bangkok and wishes for good money. Katin gives back to him her fiancee ring. The old master is very sick. Almost no spectators are paying to view the theather performances since Boon Ek left. The troop is out of cash. Vaew's heart balances between two men, her fiance and Boon Ek. The old teacher will not ask Boon Ek to come back (ยอมตายดีกว่า). Waew's fiancee, Prachalin, is a former singer and compositor. He prefers to lose Waew than a good singer! Thongdam is selling his own gold jewelry to simulate customers renting the troop. He even takes a life insurance (ประกันชีวิต) as he knows he is very sick. Waew doesn't love Boon Ek as he is a countryside guy. She is just having fun. Thongdam dies. He legates his money to the troop. To thank him, Malam decides to learn to dance to try to replace Boon Ek. Boon Ek is now a TV star (ดารา tv) and comes back to his province for singing. He declares his love again to Kathin through a song while she is the audience. She leaves the concert crying. He comes back during a lakorn representation and promises not to leave again. The Bangkok buzz is not for him. This is veteran actor Manop Aussawathep's first movie. It has a few similitudes with Cherd Songsri's movie Nora (โนห์รา) regarding traditional arts protection and conservation. It still features a very nice color picture for a 40 years old Thai movie. This movie was directed by the General Major His Royal Highness Prince Bhanu Yukol, a pioneering Thai filmmaker. He is the uncle of famous director Prince ChatriChalerm Yukol.

The parents are teacher Boonmee (เชาว์) and his wife Somchai paddling boats. The couple is having four children, i.e. Suwat (Anucha Ratanaman), Pattara (Pissamai Wilaisak), Pacheun (ขวัญใจ) and Rinarom. The grandmother (Malee Wetpraseri) is helping to take care of the young kids. Suwat doesn’t help his family for anything and is looked after by a rich lady (Chadaporn Wachirapranee). Despite being a teacher, Boonmee doesn’t earn enough money to sustain the family. Pattara has to study during the day and work at nighttime to help her mum. The grandmother is doing flower garlands for Rinarom to sell. Despite being poor, the parents want Pattara to study high and become a teacher also. It seems the rent increases or the owner wants to sell so teacher Boonmee needs a big amount of money. Chaithep (Mitr Chaibancha) is the son of an university professor, who is also teaching Pattara. As Rinarom is having problems, Chaithep gives a hand and meets Pattara. Chaithep wishes to write a story about poor people life so gets inspiration from Pattara and Rinarom lives. A fire happens in Pattara’s house. Boonmee and Rinarom die. For the remaining family members, only the boats become their shelter. Chaithep wins a prize. Wishing to find Pattara to announce the good news, he learns about the recent tragic event. Meanwhile ruffians try to bring Pattara and Pacheun to a turkey bath parlor. Chaithep arrives on time but Pacheun gets shot and dies. After so many tragic events, Pattara can finally find happiness with Chaitep.

Finally they all gather to visit the mum and learn bad news from the doctor regarding her health. The mother wants to see her daughter a last time. Duangjai and the poor boy surprise robbers sharing money from a stolen bag. They catch Duangjai and the young boy flees away to ask for help. He stops a car with Mitr inside! Mitr chases away the three ruffians and helps Duangjai. Duangjai just comes back home but her mother dies in her arms. Mitr gets blamed by Duangjai and the three brothers as his family is the land owner of the slum. Kingdao Daranee is playing Mitr's younger sister. In real life, she was his wife. Mitr decides to fire the creditor and changes the rules regarding the slum management. He succeeds to get back Duangjai and his brothers' trust. He finally marries with Duangjai. Two songs are featured in this movie. Band Samsak (วงดนตรีสามศักดิ์) is performing and their members are acting in this movie as Duangjai's brothers.

The movie was dubbed by uncle Manat and aunt Soo. Movie director is Neramit. Kram (Chao Klaewklong) has arguments with Pramin Jarujareet as he refuses to be a robber anymore. Singer Lady Metta Roongrat invites him to her bar. Somjit Sapsamruey is sick and sad that Chao couldn't find her missing son for 20 years. Chao hires lawyer Tawan Siriwat to find his missing son. Somjit Sapsamruey dies before seeing her son again. Klao and his father Pramin Jarujareet take part in a truck robbery, but other ruffians led by Phan Kam double them. They use Lor Tok as a taxi driver. Metta is harassed at the exit of a nightclub, but Klao is helping her. Choomporn Theppitak is present also and knocks Klao. The head of ruffians Phan Kam believes Pramin was trying to double him, so cuts his hand to teach him a lesson. Pramin now uses a hook instead of his hand. The second son, Naprapong, is back from studying overseas and is captured by ruffians with the lawyer Tawan. The son is coming back for his father Kram's heritage. He shall also meet his fiancée Morakot. Phan Kam prepares a plan with a fake Morakot played by Preeya Roongrueng, but it fails. Klao finally meets the real Morakot (Petchara Chaowarat). Ruffians are confused as they thought they captured Klao but it is Naprapong. Meanwhile Klao plays Naprapong and falls in love with Morakot. Ruffians enter the house to clarify their confusion but shooting occurs. One ruffian is killed. Police arrive and the officer remembers Klao's face, but Klao claims it is a misunderstanding as he is Naprapong! Domestic helper Sisala Thongtara prevents Naprapong to be too close to Morakot as wedding has not happened yet. The lawyer Tawan wishes to check the contents of the safe, but Klao claims it is better to wait for the right day. Lor Tok requests money from Klao as Klao’s father, Pramin, is running out of cash. Klao tries to take money at nighttime from the safe, but Morakot prevents him. Klao discloses the truth to Morakot as he loves her sincerely. The remaining film ends up here.

Pa (Marasri Isarangkul) is Wan’s aunt. Wan meets Sida as his car splashes her but he pretends to be a car driver only in order to be friend with her as she has a kind heart and has education. Changing his name as Tiaw, he looks for a job in the slum. An undertaker job (สัปเหร่อ) is proposed to him. Sophee is offered the role of main actress. She wishes to quit the house. The mother is sick, they have no more money and Sida stops going to school. Sophee lends to Sida 100 baht but doesn't want to see her anymore. The landlord คุณนาย (Chosri Misommon) expels them. Sida and Nuan have to live under a bridge. Sida becomes blind following a car accident involving Ramet. Wan, aware of this, takes care of Sida. Net, Wan's official fiancee, is jealous and hires the domestic helper to cause Sida to fall from a cliff. Hopefully Wan helps Sida on time. On Sophee's birthday, Nuan and Sida visit her but she is not happy to see them and asking them to stop visiting her. Altercation happens and Sophee pushes Sida, whose head hits a pillar. She ends up at hospital again. Meanwhile Sophee and Panong promise love to each other. Malin, fed up by Sophee and Panong, throws acid to their faces. Luckily Sopha recovers her sight while Sophee is disfigured. She asks for mercy to Sida and Nuan. She decides to become a nun. This movie highlights that doing good always pays off while doing bad always ends up sadly.

Mitsuko tries to reject the accusations and through an accident the new daughter loses her life. The new wife accuses Mitsuko to have killed her daughter. Truth is revealed during the following trial. Sompong Phonmitr and Choomporn Theppitak are playing lawyers. During the trial Sombat as witness is disclosing some truth that Mekala is the daughter of Mitsoko. Mitsuko is cleared and Adul hires the best surgeon to heal Mitsuko. Finally happiness is back as Adul and Mitsuko are back together. Sombat marries Mekala.

Petchara Chaowarat and Dokdin Kanyaman are part of spectators. Mitr finally wins the match despite being told to lose it as he needs money to help his mother. As the match maker refuses to pay, it ends up in another fighting. Preuhat Boonlong decides to hire the three men to working in an outdoor mine. They got troubles with two men in the mine. Fed up the three friends wish to quit the job but Preuhat Boonlong convinces them to stay. The mine is attacked. Mitr pushes back the aggressors but is injured so getting the sympathy from Petchara. The mother is finally released from prison. Kingdao recruits her as domestic helper. Her boyfriend is Choomporn. Finally the mother is also reunited with Mitr. Another attack happens on the mine and Mitr is accused of murder. It ends up to trial. Scolded by his mother, Chana finally gives information that Mitr is not guilty. Ruffians wishing to take revenge on Chana and try to shoot him. The mother interposes herself and gets shot. Mitr and his brothers catch the ruffians. Movie ends up with everybody around the mother's bed at hospital. 34 stars are announced on the movie poster!

Young lady Kaew (รักชนก จินดาวรรณ) is selling noodle soup on the market. She is exploited by her mother in law, Mae Wanta, who takes all her earnings. Kaew is like Cinderella. Meuang Den (Mitr Chaibancha) and Pong (Sompong Phonmitr) stop at Kaew's shop to eat. Meuang Den has arguments with one local ruffian. He promises to come again. Pot, a rich man renting land to Mae Wanta, asks her to arrange for Kaew to stay at his home in Bangkok. He wants her as a minor wife. Kaew helps Meuang Den being injured by a ruffian. Priya (Preeya Roongrueng), wishing to trick her half-sister, sends her to Ming, a ruffian, who tries to abuse her. Hopefully Meuang Den helps her but finally she has to stab Ming as he was strangling Meuang Den. They have to flee. Kaew takes refuge in a family (Lor Tok, Somjit Sapsamruey), living on a boat and selling noodle soup. She meets Meuang Den and Sompong, who are living in a rich house. They have to simulate being gays as their aunt Malee (Malee Wetpraseri) wanted girls. Meuang Den proposes to Kaew's family to stay in a house he is not using. Lor Tok is not willing as he is concerned Meuang Den just wants to seduce Kaew. While leaving, they face a storm. Lor Tok and his wife fall in the water and drown. Meuang Den / Khun Num rescues Kaew on time. Khun Num asks Kaew to stay as domestic helper with a family he knows well, i.e. Kham Thong, Kham Ngeun and her boyfriend Peter. Khun Num doesn't want to disclose his relationship with Kaew to his aunt Malee. The family leaves for Penang. Kaew stays behind to look after the house. In another house, domestic helpers Sukhon and Thongha look after a young lady called Chao Nok. Kaew and Chao Nok meet. They have the same face. They exchange roles to meet Khun Num as Chao Nok wishes to see Bangkok before leaving for Chiang Mai. Nareng (Sawin Sawangrat) shall bring Chao Nok to meet her disabled mother in Chiang Mai. Nareng plans to transfer the will to him. Nareng kidnaps Kaew as he is unaware that Kaew and Chao Nok exchanged roles. Young man Dio tries to help her but to no avail. The rich family is back from Penang. Chao Nok, upset at being treated as a low domestic helper, makes a big fuss with the family and flees to Khun Num's aunt. The two ladies, Chao Nok and Kaew, are lost twins per the will. Aware that Kaew was kidnapped, Khun Num has to go to Chiang Mai to help her. Nareng threatens Kaew to provide the will and to sign it but Kaew cannot as she is not Chao Nok. It makes Nareng very upset. Nareng abused the mother (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit) by lying to her. The mother and her daughter Kaew are reunited. Khun Num and Dio storm the house, where the mother and Kaew are held captive. The mother interposes while Nareng tries to stab Kaew. She gets stabbed instead. Before dying, she stabs Nareng. The two sisters are reunited. Two couples are formed. Khun Num and Kaew, Dio and Chao Nok.

ดาวพระศุกร์ is a Thai movie released in year 1966 and featuring main actors Mitr Chaibancha and Pissamai Wilaisak. The movie was lost in Thailand but finally a partial reel was found in year 2013 thanks to a teacher and collector of old items in Songkhla area. It is the movie last reel, which is lasting 21 minutes. Dao Prasuk is played by Pissamai. Sasi (Boosara Narumit) is her mum refusing to recognise as her daughter as she has a new husband. Khun Pak (คุณภาคย์) is played by Mitr. Dao Prasuk had a difficult life. Mitr has already a fiancee Rassamee (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) but he loves secretly Dao Prasuk. Uncle At opens a flowers shop for Dao Prasuk and offers an engagement ring without knowing that Dao Prasuk is his own daughter! Knowing that Dao Prasuk has a ring, Mitr gets upset and has a fight with Uncle At despite Choomporn Theppitak trying to interpose. Sasi tells the truth to At and Dao Prasuk is now also aware. Pak learns it also. Pak has an accident and finally reconciles with Dao Prasuk. The last reel is still in quite good condition and colorful. This first version of Dao Prasuk was adapted many times in cinema (Version in 1981 with Sorapong Chatree and Apaporn Kornthip, version 1995) and TV releases (พล and Monrudee Yamaphai in 1981 - this TV serie was also released in a cinematographic version - 1995 and 2003). The summary is as below. Dao Prasuk has been rejected by her mother since youth and abandoned in a hospital. She is adopted but her stepmother is cruel. Dao Prasuk is used as a slave to take care about the home and the other children. She learns that her real mother is called Sasi. One day Dao helps a boy called Kae begging in the street. It is misunderstood by her stepfather believing she has a boyfriend. Dao flees from home. Sasi (ศศิ) has a new husband and a son called Daeng. Sasi misses Dao and gets some news through the beggar called Kae. She knows Dao has fled from home. On the street Dao faces many difficulties, then she meets King Kaew (กิ่งแก้ว) a prostitute and then Arathai (อรทัย), the nurse who gave birth to her. So Dao knows now who her real mother is. Dao is finally bought as maid by Pak (ภาคย์). Pak is a good man so Dao gets education in his home, i.e. English lessons by Sasi who is a relative of Pak and music lessons by Rassamee (รัศมี), Pak's fiancee! Dao doesn’t disclose her real identity to Sasi. Dao starts to love Pak. Rassamee, aware of this, tries to get rid of her. It fails and on the opposite, it increases Pak's love over Dao. He takes care of her when she gets sick. Meanwhile older man At (อรรถ) starts to appreciate Dao a lot. He gives 100 000 baht to buy back Dao. It causes Pak's ire. Being disappointed by her real mother, her stepmother, her impossible love with Pak, Dao final accepts At's wedding proposal. In reality, At is Dao's biological father! Disappointed and fed up, Dao flees again. Pak is looking for her and has a car accident. Meanwhile At and Rassamee marry! Sasi's husband divorces as she lied to him regarding the child she had from a previous wedding. Dao settles in Ratchaburi. Pak learns about it and asks for forgiveness. They finally marry.

A dubbed version was shown in Thai Film Archives in 2020. The remaining film is very damaged but still colorful. The movie takes place in Chiang Mai and then in Bangkok. Chaiya Suriyun plays two roles as a father and a younger man (wearing a moustache) being a musician. Following a fight in a bar, Wissanoo (Chaiya Suriyun) is injured and left for dead. His daughter, Luk Ying (Ratanaporn Noi), asks for help. Pol passing by with Thipsuda (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) decides to help. At the hospital, Thipsuda helps to pay for the bill. Thipsuda becomes finally Wissanoo's new wife (เมียใหม่). Years have passed. Luk Ying is now an adult. Thipsuda is always jealous about Luk Ying (ลำบากใจ). Wissanoo decides to send his daughter to her grandfather’s (Somkuan Krajangsat) home in Chiang Mai. Adul (Adul Dulyarat), a policeman, is injured and cured at the grandfather’s house so he has the chance to know Luk Ying (ลูกหญิง). Adul is going to marry Luk Ying so the father Wissanoo (นักดนตรี) is invited to the wedding. Arriving there, he recalls his relationship with Walai (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng), Luk Ying's mother. He feels bad to have sent his daughter in Chiang Mai. He recalls he met Walai in similar condition in an event in Chiang Mai many years ago and asked her to live in Bangkok with her. They fled to Bangkok as Wissanoo was a poor musician and Walai, the unique granddaughter of a rich man (Somkuan Krajangsat). Wissanoo and Walai had a daughter called Luuk Ying. After a few years for unclear reasons, Walai left back to Chiang Mai and left behind her husband and daughter. She wrote a letter but Wissanoo burnt before reading it. The 48 minutes ends when they meet again at Luk Ying’s wedding and their love is still here.

เกียรติศักดิ์ทหารเสือ is a Thai movie released in year 1965. Sor Asanajinda is movie director and actor. The film is lost in Thailand but luckily there is still a “Behind the screen” sequence lasting 20mn. It is in 16mm format so there is no sound and is in black and white color. Main actors are Sombat Methanee, Chaiya Suriyun and Pissamai Wilaisak. A few sequences are featured, i.e. Sor Asanajinda giving orders to Taksin Jampol, Sombat Methanee and Chaiya Suriyun, Pissamai crying, soldiers meeting in which Sombat is stripped of his medals by the general himself and gets slapped also, meeting between Sor Asanajinda and Adul Dulyarat. A general comes and strips himself of his medals. He wishes to kill himself but Sor Asanajinda prevents him to do so. They are all disrupted by an event. During a big assembly in full uniforms, Sor Asanajinda is repeating spade fighting. While Adul is writing, an officer is going to shoot him. Hopefully Sombat intervenes at same time to stop him. The soldier has same face as Sombat! Sequences riding horses. Fight between Sombat and Chaiya. Sequence under the rain where Sombat carries Pissamai. Chaiya helps to get a flag back to avoid Sombat to be executed. The story is inspired by the Three Musketeers from French author Alexandre Dumas. Another version was released in year 1983 and directed again by Sor Asanajinda with actors Toon Hiransap, Kowit Wattanakul, อนุสรณ์ เตชะปัญญา and Pissamai Wilaisak. Finding and watching the 1983 version would allow better understanding of the 1965 behind the screen sequences. A sequence is showing a house near the sea and people are having fun in a swimming pool. Adul is seen in discussion with another gentleman. Chana is talking with รสริน วิลาวัลย์. Boosara has to kill her boss trying to abuse her but ends up in jail. Her father finally dies also. Twenty years have passed. Boosara is released from jail. She is welcome to stay in Win's home. Win (วิน วิษณุรักษ์) is now married to อภิญญา วีระขจร. She finally meets a young lady (แววตา อาษาสุข) having a pendant with a picture of Chana. She understands the young lady is her daughter (ลูกแม่). Her boyfriend (ชุมพร พงษ์ชมพู) is also a soldier similar to Chana's position twenty years ago. She gives her a gift offered by Chana before. When Chana sees this gift, he knows Boosara is still alive. Disappointed by life, Boosara tries to get suicide by jumping from a bridge but she is rescued by Win. She is finally reunited with her daughter. The movie was done by the same producer of movie Mae nak Phra khanong with actress Preeya Roongrueng already.

สี่คิงส์ or "See King" is a Thai crime movie produced by Tae Prakardwutthisan. The 1959 movie is lost in Thailand but hopefully a 16mm "behind the screen" sequence of 10 minutes is still available. It was given by Tae Prakardwutthisan himself in year 1988 to the Thai Film Archives. Despite using same actors as “Hao Dong” (1956), “See King” movie was not a commercial success. The sequence shows the actors and actresses during the first projection in year 1959. Those actors are Amara Asavananda, Chaiya Suriyun, Dokdin Kanyaman, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Sompong Phonmitr, Sawin Sawangrat, Lor Tok. The movie trailer is also included. A few fights are featured with Chaiya. Dokdin Kanyaman is acting as a journalist. Somphong and veteran comic actress Chosri Misommon (ชูศรี มีสมมนต์) are featured together. Both the main actor and main actress are nice outlaws. Similar as in movie “Hao Dong”, Amara is wearing a mask. The sequence is coming from a DVD that can be bought at Thai Film Archives. Businessman Pong asks help from inspector Cheut. Saen kidnaps inspector Man. Krieng helps to release him while ruffians are busy transporting goods. Nit (Phong Lada Pimolpan) is raped by a ruffian. Krieng and Apson joins their efforts to protect Thailand against people trying to hurt the country. Nit steals a document from the ruffians. Undertaker (สัปเหร่อ) kills Saen and Go. Ruffians are aware Krieng betrayed them (ทรยศ). Krieng and Apson are identified as traitors and are attached. Police, called previously by Apson, disturb the ruffians allowing Krieng to escape. Phi Cheua and Nit die during the fightings but Nit shoots Go before dying. Apson is a uncovered policewoman called Achala. It discovered that Krieng's real name is Chet and he is the elder brother of Cheut! Cheut and Chet love the same woman, i.e. Achala. The leader still tries to kill Krieng as revenge. The real leader is Businessman Pong! Krieng succeeds to neutralize the ruffians and escape before the building collapses. He gets Achala’s love.

เห่าดง (Hao Dong) is a 1958 Thai movie by director Thae Pragartvuthisarn. It features famous Thai actor Chaiya Surin (his first movie) and actress Amara Asavananda. Other actors include Lor Tok, Dokdin Kanyaman, Sompong Phonmitr, Chosri Misommon. A remake was released in year 1983 with Sorapong Chatree and Suriwan Suriyong. No extract of the movie is left anymore. But there is still a short 1mn22s sequence from 1958 Thai news showing a huge crowd waiting to see Hao Dong movie. A few still pictures are still available showing Amara Asavananda wearing color Hao Dong costume. It was a big commercial success thanks also to great advertisements including radio, TV, huge billboards up to 12 meters (คัทเอาต์ขนาดยักษ์) of actress Amara Asavananda in popular areas of Bangkok. Three gangs of robbers are bringing trouble in Bangkok. Hao Dong works alone. Hao Dong is a former military (ทหารม้า). He is not a ruthless gangster like the two other groups. Feeling betrayed, the other groups (เล็บเหล็ก, แสงเทียน) wish to get rid of Hao Dong. As he dies, his daughter (Amara Asavananda) takes over. Chaiya is playing a policeman and love will emerge with Amara. The success of movie Hao Dong is due to the presence of 3 famous Thai comic stars (Lor Tok, Dokdin Kanyaman, Sompong Phonmitr). Tae Prakardwutthisan had also the good idea to make a simple but entertaining song to be diffused on radios for movie promotion. It mentions Dokdin as ตัวดำๆ. A movie as that time was always a financial risk due to potential military coup d'etat as it could ruin all investments on a movie. Hao Dong generated 1.3M baht revenue.

The hotel bar caretaker Noi is a brave guy (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) but he is a bit gullible and too nice to customers. The hotel is used as rehearsal hall by choral or a Philippine artist such as miss Flora or Chinese opera (งิ้ว) or even a boxing match. The hotel is often used for arm wrestling competition. The caretaker Noi can often beat men much stronger than him. This strange hotel has only one room and it is already occupied by Mr Chana (Chana Sriubon). Issue arises when a young lady called Riem (Sarinthip Siriwan) asks for a room also. Chana renames the hotel Paradise as hotel Hell (โรงแรมนรก) as it is too noisy. Chana and Riem keep arguing for the room and even fight for pillows (ใจดำ). Chana is getting mad as he cannot sleep properly. Rumors about bandit Seua Din reach the hotel. Taking a bath in a nearby river, Riem needs to borrow Chana's gun to protect herself in case Seua Din is around. As Chana refuses, she bets with him and wins a shooting game. Three ruffians including a fierce guy called Krai are looking for Chana as he is an accountant. They wish to rob his money before he pays company salaries. Noi's uncle is shot. Riem is back when they start to beat Noi and Chana to know when the money arrives. The ruffians are quite polite (เสือสุภาพบุรุษ) but determined to get the money. Noi tells that Riem is Chana's wife. To make Chana speaks, the ruffians threaten his wife’s integrity. Chana finally accepts to tell that money will arrive at 4am. Love emerges between Riem and Chana. One of the ruffians helps Noi as he was looking for honest job and not a thief job. Krai shoots his two friends at nighttime as he believes they betrayed him by protecting Chana. Seua Din enters in the hotel and wishes to get the money also with no sharing. So a Russian roulette game is organised between Krai and Seua Din. Seua Din is very polite (เสือสุภาพบุรุษ) also but not Krai who breaks the game rules and shoots him. Chana and Noi capture Krai. The agent sending the money was Riem, daughter of the company owner. Chana and Riem cannot marry as Chana believes he is a small accountant only. Riem succeeds to convince him. There is a great performance of Prachuap Ruekyamdee who is playing a major role here instead of being a second role in a movie with leading actor Mitr Chaibancha. The movie scenario is very witty. Country Hotel (โรงแรมนรก) is a 1957 black and white movie lasting 2h19mn. It was filmed in 35mm format (using real actors voice) at the opposite of mainstream Thai movies using 16mm format (using dubbers). The movie received 3 awards in 1959 (best director, best image, best sound). The bar can still be found at Thai Film Archives museum. Western classical music is used. There is a great soundtrack used to create special ambience when fighting is happening. It is an indoor movie shooting.

Thai movie ห้วงรักเหวลึก was released in year 1955. Only a sequence of 38mn remains to be seen. It was shown on Thai TV channel 9 many years ago. Movie director is Somkuan Krajangsat. It is a Crime / Drama / Thriller movie. Thai actors and actresses featured in this movie are Rujira Isarangkul, Lor Tok, Preuhat Boonlong, Sompong Phonmitr, Chosri Misommon, สุพรรณ บูรณะพิมพ์, Somkuan Krajangsat, Marasri Isarangkul, เติม โมรากุล, สำราญ เหมือนประสิทธิเวช, จันตรี สาริกบุตร. A woman in prison recalls a case with her lawyer Akatip (อรรถทิพย์)(Rujira Isarangkul). Her name is Khun PraPinpan (ประพิมพรรณ)(สุพรรณ บูรณะพิมพ์). A man called Khun Manot (มาโนช)(เติม โมรากุล), already married, entered in her house while PraPinpan’s husband was away. Despite being reluctant, the man forced her. In the morning, she shot him arguing she was raped by him. Akatip's colleague is Sawut (ทรงวุฒิ)(Somkuan Krajangsat). A man brings a letter to the lawyer to show the lady asked indeed to meet Manot. 30,000 baht is requested to keep silent. The lawyer pays for the letter. The lady is finally released. The lawyer hides the letter. PraPinpan admits that Khun Manot and her were already married but still seeing each other (ทําความชั่ว). She killed Manot as he was afraid of his wife. The lady lied during the trial and the lawyer protected her. Prapinpan, after being released, divorces with her current husband Phon Pern (พรเพิ่ม)(สำราญ เหมือนประสิทธิเวช). Prapinpan works now in the lawyer's office. Tiemchan (เทียมจันท)(Marasri Isarangkul), a widow lady, is invited for breakfast. She puts powder in the coffee in the lawyer's wife cup, i.e. Thanomkwan (ถนอมขวัญ) (จันตรี สาริกบุตร). She dies due to poison. People suspects PraPinpan. PraPinpan, now working as secretary, wishes to collaborate and consults Sawut. She discovers that Tiemchan is Akatip's mistress. Akatip is going to marry with Tiemchan. Thanks to PraPinpan and Sawut's efforts, Tiemchan is arrested. Fed up with all this mess, PraPinpan decides to leave for South of Thailand. Sawut loves PraPinpan also. Phon Pern, her previous husband, still harasses her through letters so she shoots him.

The colorful and sharp remaining sequence shows a romance sequence between Thaksin and สวลี ผกาพันธ์ happening probably during the Ayutthaya period. ไฉน สัตยพันธ and a few armed men surround them. Thaksin fights back, then as he is outnumbered, he escapes by diving into the river. A summary of the movie is still available. Tuan (ทวน) (Taksin Jampol) and สี (Lor Tok) are servants of village leader Ouam (อ่วม) (วิชิต ไวงาน). He is leader of the village Bang Sue (บางซื่อ). Their job is to sell rice in various areas around the village. One day while returning to the village, they are attacked by robbers. Tuan kills a robber and reports it to the บ้านทุ่งเสือข้าม subdistrict headman. The subdistrict headman is negligent to manage this case as he is the one behind the robbery. The subdistrict headman อั้น and village leader Ouam work together to get rid of Tuan as Ouam wishes อั้น (เมืองเริง ปัทมินทร์) to be become his son-in-law but Jampa (จำปา) (สวลี ผกาพันธุ์), his daughter, loves Tuan. Seua Kaem (เสือเข้ม) (Tat Ekathat) travels from ทุ่งเสือข้าม and carries his wife’s treasure to deposit it to Ouam, his old friend. His wife is Jom (โฉม) (มาลิน เลขะวัฒนพิจารณ์) and is having an affair with with Plat Sak. Village leader Uam and Plat Sak plan to capture Seua Kaem and steal his belongings. Luckily Tuan is around and can help Seua Kaem. Tuan hurries back to meet Jampa but village leader Ouam and อั้น bring Plat Sak (ปลัดศักดิ์) (ไฉน สัตยพันธ์) to catch Tuan for murder (as he killed a robber before). Tuan flees (this is the short movie sequence left to be seen) and return to help สี but is not successful. He finally brings Jampa with him causing อั้น to be very upset. Ruffians release สี in order to follow him and to find Tuan. Tuan is then arrested but succeeds to escape again and prevents เพิ่ม (สมถวิล มุกดาประกร) trying to rape Jampa. Tuan kills เพิ่ม by sword. Village leader Ouam captures again Tuan. But Jampa asks Ouam not to kill Tuan as she agrees to go back to the village. Tuan is angry by Jampa‘s decision. Seua Kaem is killed by Plat Sak. In village Bang Sue, the village leader prepares the wedding between his daughter Jampa and อั้น. Ouam is surprised when seeing the ring that Champa is wearing. He is even more surprised when learning that this ring was offered to Champa by Tuan. This ring was offered by Ouam to his previous wife so he understands that Tuan is his son!

สาวเครือฟ้า - Sao Kreua Fah (1953) is produced by Tae Prakardwutthisan. Tae Prakardwutthisan’s second movie is featuring actor Chalit Susewee (ชลิต สุเสวี) and actress Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit. It was shot in Chiang Mai (including Doi Suthep) in year 1952 and released in year 1953. It is a sad romantic movie (ชีวิตรักโศก). Famous veteran comic actor Sompong Phonmitr is also acting. Officer Roitree (ร้อยตรีพร้อม) meets Kreua Fa (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit) the first time and falls immediately in love. Kreua Fa is a traditional dancer (ฟ้อน) and is the daughter of a mahout. He goes to her home and meets an old lady raising Kreua Fa since she is a child. Love emerges. Roitree and Kreua Fa have a son. World War I happens. One day Roitree learns that he has to move to Bangkok. He goes to Europe as airplane pilot. He is injured. Back to Thailand, he gets awarded by a higher military rank but has lost memory about the past. He doesn’t remember Kreua Fah and his child. His parents force him to marry a girl from a high lineage. One day, he goes with his wife in Chiang Mai for a plane exhibition. Kreua Fah, aware, is waiting for him. Disappointing that Roitree is married and doesn’t remember her, she gets suicide. Roitree finally recovers memory but it is too late... The 1953 movie is lost in Thailand but hopefully a 16mm behind the sequence of ten minutes is still available. It was given by Tae Prakardwutthisan himself in year 1988 to the Thai Film Archives. It is pure happiness to see sharp pictures of Chalit Susewee and Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit more than 60 years after the movie was shot. In year 1957 Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit got a Thai cinema award (ตุ๊กตาทองนำหญิง) for this movie for the first opus of the Thai cinema awards. At that time, most of the theaters had contracts to use foreign films the whole year so it was difficult for Thai movies to get slots. As Thai movies were not numerous at that time, Sao Kreua Fa was even shown the same year a few times during different months (shown 5 times in 4 different theaters level 1 – โรงหนังชั้นหนึ่ง). Even the Thai King and Thai Queen saw it. Many remakes were released, i.e. Thai TV series in 1971, 1991, 1996 and Thai movies in 1965 (Mitr Chaibancha and Pissamai Wilaisak), 1980 (Nirut Sirijanya and Supansa Nuengpirom). Movie สาวเครือฟ้า was going to be sold to Russia but the Russian distributor realised it was a 16mm movie so needing live dubbing for each projection! The plan foiled. Tae Prakardwutthisan nevertheless recommended to use 35mm format for next movies.
