Song (สอง) is playing music in wedding concerts. He wishes to be a rock star so goes to Bangkok to try his luck. But his friends let him down as they have no success. He finally takes refuge in an old friend’s home. His name is Kao (ก้าว). Song was always number 2 behind Kao since birth. He is even born 5 minutes later. Song cannot go back home as he told his parents he is studying in Bangkok. Kao studies painting. Song finds a job in a local shop selling music CD. He notices a beautiful lady called Nor selling goods in front of his CD shop. She is heartbroken (อกหัก) and is looking for a way to forget. A friendship happens as Song is somebody with a very easy character (คนสบายๆ). There is a misunderstanding with Nor regarding Song as she believes he is gay. Song doesn't know how to seduce girls so Kao and the CD shop owner give him advices. Nor sees him as a friend only but Song loves her fondly. Friendship develops between them. Nor's birthday is coming. Song has prepared a song. It is finally discovered that Kao was Nor's former boyfriend! Kao made a painting of Nor and steals Song's music also. Kao gets all benefits and resumes a relationship with Nor. Song gets the torment to see their happiness. He is still the number 2 (แพ้) behind Kao. The cake prepared by Nor is not for him but for Kao's birthday. The movie features nice Thai modern songs from วงเอ็นโดรฟิน (Endorphine) and แคลอรี่ส์ บลาห์ บลาห์ (Calories Blah Blah). The relationship is becoming impossible with Kao, so Song leaves. Kao is upset with Nor as he believes Nor and Song are cheating him. Wishing to take a break, Song brings Nor to rest at his parents’ home. As Nor is pregnant, Song helps for their reconciliation. Kao and Nor finally wed. Song remains alone also but he is very proud to have brought happiness to Nor. This is true love.

A teacher brings his art students on the country-side to go for camping. Every day people die in the village. Some people believe some ghosts "Phi Kraseu" and "Phi Pop" reside in the village. The spirit ("Phi Kraseu" - ผีกระสือ) is a malicious and very dangerous spirit which manifests itself as a beautiful woman. It floats through the air because it has no lower body. It appears as a length of intestines suspended from a lovely woman face. A "Phi Pop" (ผีปอบ) is an evil spirit believed to possess a person to eat his intestine while also forcing him to seek and consume raw animal organs and meat at night-time. A medium master (อาจารย์) try to chase villagers away in order that a foreign developer can build a resort. The medium master use two ladies ghosts to frighten the villagers. The "Phi Pop" ghost performs many killings. The role is played by sexy actress Prangwalai Thepsatorn. As the medium master fails to chase the villages, the developer gives him a last chance. So he launches ghosts in daytime to deter the villagers. The art students need to flee ghosts. The Phi Kraseu fights with Phi Pop to stop the killings. The village head (ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน) decides to use a sorcerer (หมอผี) to chase the ghosts from the village. Finally the students with the help of "Phi Kraseu" get rid of the "Phi Pop" and the developer. There are heavy gags characteristic of modern horror comedies. The fat student is treated as an elephant. Naowarat Yooktanun is still as beautiful as 30 years ago. Some sequences are a homage to old classic Thai movies.

Yot has been trained many years as a white monkey warrior by his master. A rival master is willing to take back some segments of a sacred book to seek absolute power. A mafia guy called Stephen and the rival master command a group of bad guys including three warriors having skills and tatoos related to crocodile, tiger and Jaguar. Those dark side warriors killed Yot's master, Yot's girlfriend and had her sister be paralysed. Yot then finds a shelter inside an up-country school teaching traditional Thai boxing for boys and traditional dance for girls. Once the three bad warriors have killed almost everybody in the school and take away the paralyzed little girl, Yot goes on rampage to fight them and get back the young girl. This movie tries to include recipes that were successful for Ong Bak 1. It includes Thainess through Thai boxing, Thai traditional dance, respect to teacher, sacred tatooes... But the main actor is not as skilled as Tony Jaa. Foreigner are really the bad guys destroying sacred altars and having no respect for teachers and ancestors. 50 years ago mothers mentioned the Chinese Zee Oui (ซีอุย) as a monster to frighten their children, now they can use the bad foreigners!

This movie is made in three parts and relates the story of the greatest hero in Thai history, i.e. King Naresuan who was born in 1555. At the age of nine, he had been taken as hostage to Burma for 6 years to ensure Phitsanulok's loyalty to Burmese kingdom. In Pegu, Naresuan is treated as a son of the Burmese king, Bayinnaung, and is afforded all the respect due to a prince. Naresuan is ordained as a novice monk in a Buddhist temple under the supervision of the monk, Khanchong. There he became acquainted with sword fighting and methods of war. As his sister is also held hostage, Naresuan decided it is time for him to return to Siam. He attracted a band of loyal fellows and made his escape back to Phitsanulok.

This folk-music movie is a remake of one of the most famous Thai movie (มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง) shot in 1970. It features 14 folk songs or "LUUK THUNG" songs. It is about a love story between a poor peasant, Klao, and a young woman, Thong Kwao, coming from a rich family. Thong Kwao's parents are worried about the family assets if their daughter marries a poor man so they send her to Bangkok so that she can be far away from Klao. Thong Kwao's parents refuse Klao's proposal for marriage and request an expensive dower (ค่าสินสอด), i.e. 100 000 Baht. Various misunderstandings happen between Klao and Thong Kwao but love will win.

This movie uses the eternal theme of new young policeman having to work with an old style policeman. The new young policeman is just graduated. The new young policeman claims he works for the Thai society and not for himself. The old style policeman is still believing in Buddha amulets for protection, receives bribes from shops, plays snooker during working hours, protects a local gambling den and has a relax attitude. But he is a goodhearted man. Mae, a young crime journalist, is assigned to accompany them on the field. Their ways of working are completely different. The young man spends a lot of time in negotiation. The older man goes straight to the point. The older policeman has a young wife. As his young wife left him for a younger and richer man so he is in bad mood and bad shape. In parallel of this story, former Isan robbers go back home. Their father is dying and asks them to find his lost son in Bangkok. They will of course meet the two policemen during their quest in Bangkok. The movie ends up happily with the two Isan men finding their half brother, the two policemen catching a big drug dealer and the young wife coming back.

Teenagers are having a bike race. Ek (เพ็ญเพชร เพ็ญกุล) helps a young lady, Kaew (นัท มีเรีย), who is aggressed by a thug. Suchao Pongwilai is Kaew's father. Her parents don't have time for her, so she is often out (เที่ยว). Kaew is trying to find back Ek. Schoolmates mention Ek can often be seen in a discotheque in Ratchada. They finally go out in a mall on the next day but Ek must be careful as Police is looking for him as bike races are illegal. As Kaew and her friends miss school a lot (ขัดเรียน), they get warned by the school director. Ek is also not happy with his family. Kaew is looking for companionship as she is lonely at home. Ek is racing with Kaew. Ek is arrested by Thai Police but wishes to continue as bike racing is a romping game for him. Kaew joins a model contest to raise interest from her parents. Her mother disapproves her daughter so Kaew flees. Ek and Kaew start a relationship. Ek continues to race. His opponent dies. Ek has to flee the Police and goes to Phuket. Kaew follows him there. Ek starts to take drugs (เล่นของ). Kaew is pregnant and worried. Ek would like Kaew to abort but she refuses. Ek's father is Phairoj Jaising. Ek's condition is getting worse as he is using strong drugs. Ek is going to brothel to buy drug. As the woman refuses to sell drugs at low price to him, a fight erupts. Ek is beaten by ruffians. Kaew brings him to hospital. Doctor finds he has Aids. Aware of it, Ek wishes to break with Kaew to ensure she can have a new life. Ek has difficulties to accept his disease (หมดทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง). Ek breaks up with Kaew. Kaew calls her teacher as she is in despair. She is four months pregnant. She discloses the news to her parents. The mother is only worried to lose face. The father acknowledges they did bad of not taking care of their daughter. After going to hospital, Kaew is also diagnosed with Aids (เราต้องรับความจริง). Kaew is back to school. Other schoolmates suspect she has Aids as she is now very slim. Other kids try to avoid her worried about the disease. At that time people still believed they could get infected through clothes contact and using same utensils. Kaew thinks about suicide. Finally, her friends talk to her again after the teacher explains to them. Ek's mother (Mayura Thanabutr) asks Kaew to help and to ensure Ek takes his medicine. Kaew finds Ek doing motorbike. He is feeling bad (สร้างกรรมสร้างบาป). Ek wishes to join a last race. Kaew takes her child back from hospital despite nurses are unwilling. Finally, the child doesn't have Aids. Kaew cannot join Ek on time for this last race. Ek dies due to over speeding.

They meet on the boat but do not disclose their real names and jobs. Poonsawat discloses he swallowed the diamond and is sent to hospital for X-ray. He meets Rong working there. Rong promises to exchange X-ray with a patient having heart disease in order to have him released promptly. Finally, the two couples sympathize on the boat and when they are about to disclose the truth, a patient recalls the doctor. The doctor finds an excuse. Later, Yee Mai intervenes to stop a robber, so she also finds an excuse. Both couples are back to Bangkok. Holidays are over. The policewomen must go to the hospital, where the two doctors are working, to arrest Poonsawat. Finally, the first couple knows the truth, but Ma and Yee Mai continue to lie to each other. Various funny sequences occur as Ma simulates being a male nurse and Yee Mai simulates being a rich heir, but she has no money. Finally, while facing an accident, Doctor Ma must help and to disclose he is a doctor. Yee Mai does not dare saying she is a policewoman as Doctor Ma is upset with policewomen trying to arrest his patient Poonsawat despite him being sick. The truth is finally disclosed when the policewoman asks to meet the doctor, preventing her from arresting Poonsawat. The two couples chase Rong and Poonsawat escaping the hospital. Rong and Poonsawat are captured. Ma forgives and accepts that Yee Mai is a policewoman. Romance can blossom.

Thai war movie 5 มนุษย์เหล็ก / Brave and cruel was released in year 1988 and lasts 1h21mn. It was released under VHS format and also VCD format by Lepso Studio company. Movie director is Payoong Payakul. This movie was also released internationally under the name “Hell Hunters” by Filmark production. It was then mixing sequences from the Thai movie and original sequences shot in Hong Kong. Hell Hunters VHS lasts 1h18mn. IFD and Filmark used to buy uncut / unrated negatives that included alternate versions / shots, nudity and similar topics because they used those movies for international markets where censorship was different. Hell Hunters include nudity scenes removed from Thai VHS. Captain (ผู้กอง) Leuat (Sorapong Chatree) is leading Thai soldiers including Pao Porapak. They are attacked and have to retreat. Five soldiers are left only and they don’t have radio to ask for help. Mapree (Thida Thidarat) brings her mother, who is injured following village attack. She meets doctor Phairoj Jaising and nurse Chutima Kawinla. They plan to go back to the village to take care of other injured villagers. On the way to the village, the five soldiers stop the van and share it to reach village Nong Prai. All villagers are dead. The five soldiers accept to chase the attackers guided by Mapree and to release the missing villagers. Three foreigners, met on the way, join them, i.e Kellyann Kelly, David Klaper, Bernard Hindenberg. These three foreigners are not famous actors. It reminds "Gold" / "ทอง" movies by movie director Chalong Pukdeewichit. They also always included foreign actors but they were famous actors and the movies budget was much higher than “5 มนุษย์เหล็ก". The attackers storm another village. The foreigners' Thai families have been killed. Leuat needs to go with his men to a ralliement point. Through the small van, they continue their journey towards the attackers. The ralliement point is also attacked by the ruffians. Thanks to Mapree, they find where the attackers are staying. Despite being a small number, they decide to attack the ruffians. Thanks to a radio found at the ralliement point, they ask for renfort. Attackers are aware of this as they spy the radio waves. Heavy fighting occurs. The Thai soldiers win but one of them dies to protect his country (รักษาแผนดิน).

Parents are worried about face. A meeting occurs with Dam, uncle of Chayapon, (Likit Eakmongkol). Pim refuses to marry Chayapon as he is also issued from a sad family without love. Khiaw (Mai Charoeunpura) is hired as domestic helper by Rose. Khun Det, Chayapon's father, is currently abroad. Choo is his mistress (Apiradee Pawaputanon). Chayapon asks money to her to hire an illegal doctor to perform abortion. Rose finally is interested in pushing for a wedding as Khun Det (Phairoj Jaising) is rich. Na Feuang (Natanee Sitthisaman) helps for the abortion money as she doesn't agree with this wedding. The abortion doesn't happen. Khun Det is back and agrees to recognize the child. Det rents a house for Pim and Nitima to have them near him. Fed up with Rose, Plao takes Kiaw as mistress and they move out in a rented house. Khun Det goes to Nitima's office every day as he tries to seduce her. It makes Dam to be upset. Choo complains about Det (ความยุติธรรม - justice between man and woman) as he has many flirts, but she cannot satisfy her own desires. Dam refuses to be a proxy. Det offers a diamond ring to Nitima and gives bad rumors about Dam and Choo. Pim helps Det so Dam believes a romance has started between Nitima and Det so he gets drunk. Choo tries to take advantage of Dam being drunk. Det chases Choo and Dam, his half-brother, of his house. Rose tries to get suicide as Kiaw is pregnant, so she lost face. Nitima and Dam become friends again as misunderstanding is clarified. It is a sin (บาปกรรม) to abort so Rose authorises Kiaw to stay in their home. Pim's child is born. Det still wishes to seduce Nitima. Kiaw is feeling unwell as Plaew is split between his old (ทำตัวเป็นแม่พระ) and new wife. Det understands excession passion (กิเลส) towards Nitima was wrong and apologises. Feuang is hit by a car as she sees Choo with her husband (ทำประชด). The child born from Kiaw is infirmed. Happiness is back in all couples. Kiaw has even a new husband, i.e Chayapon!

On VCD version, luring scenes are censored but longer action sequences are present. Sompon (Sorapong Chatree) leads a group in the forest (เดินป่า) looking for treasures. Four years ago he was the only survivor. His life was saved by the daughter of the village leader called Pailin (นีรนุช อติพร). Ghosts (ผี) are guarding a cave with treasures. Pao Porapak is part of Sompon’s team. The group is attacked by robbers (โจรกลุ่มน้อย). Some villagers protect the cave and are under the spell of Mae Mo, a local sorceress. Villager leaders are Phairoj Jaising and his son Lak Apichat. Another group is following Sompon as they are eying for the treasures also. Sompon's group reaches the caves first. The villagers attack the second group but they succeed to escape. During nighttime, ghosts attack Sompon’s group. ผีผู้หญิงกลัวพ่อ ผีผู้ขายกลัวแม่ so Sompon asks the teammates to get naked to chase the ghosts away. In the second group, a rapist tries to abuse a lady so internal fightings occur. Mae Mo discourages Pailin and Sompon's love story. At nighttime, Sompon is transformed as a werewolf (หมาป่า) but the spell is not strong enough. The second group chases the first one from the caves. At nighttime they are attacked by ghosts and the remaining members are killed by villagers through torture. Sompon refuses to flee. A duel happens between Sompon and Lak. As Sompon wins, it shows the triumph of love towards fake magic from sorceress Mae Mo. Other actresses include อภิรัตน์ มณีรัตน์, มัลลิกา สมบัติเจริญ.

Praisanee (Thida Thidarat) has issues with four ladies warriors as she enters a forbidden part of the forest. Their master (อาจารย์) stops the fighting. Two villages are opposing each other. One is led by Chao Mae and one is led by Jaising. Mae Mot (แม่หมด) sanctuary, old heritage, is protected by the two villages and they keep arguing. Jaising’s villagers are attacked by Chao Mae’s villagers led by Pao Porapak. Five of them die. The leader Chao Mae (เจ้าแม่) is a lady. Chao Mae maintains discipline among her male warriors by offering ladies to them or even herself. Chao Mae’s villagers attack Jaising’s village while Lak Apichat, village leader Phairoj Jaising and his daughter Praisanee are away. They promise to get revenge. Three men arrive in Chao Mae’s village for a weapons deal to get rid of Jaising’s village. They get full hospitality from Chao Mae. Another groupe including Macawan (Sorapong Chatree), Kaewta, Warun, Phit and lady Pissamai is visiting the forest to find old jewels. They are aware to be near ancient dangerous villages. The weapons exchange fails thanks to Praisanee. Another weapons exchange fails again following heavy shootings. Praisanee and villagers arrests Macawan's team to understand why they enter the forest. Chao Mae needs blood to stay healthy. Macawan decides to help Praisanee. While visiting the Mae Mot sanctuary, Phit dies. Pissamai is captured by the Chao Mae’s villagers. She is aggressed and killed by them. At night time, Praisanee enters in the village to release her but it is too late. She then faces Pao Porapak and defeats him. Unfortunately, Pissamai is dead already. Both groups of villagers enter the sanctuary and heavy shootings occur. Praisanee gets the magical weapon from Mae Mot and gets rid of opponents such as Chao Mae, Pao Porapak… Peace is back in the area.

He convinces a few friends to join him, and a group is created to go back to the village. Tatsanee (Thida Thidarat), daughter of an archeologist, and Chatchai are part of them. They meet weird monsters (มนุษย์ปีศาจ). They are inoffensive during daytime but attack the group at nighttime. They are chased away by using fire. Ati cannot find Monoko as she has moved to a new village. A bunch of ruffians including Ta Moo Yan (Pao Porapak) asks for protection money (เก็บเงิน) to villagers managing a local market. As villagers have no money, Ta Moo Yan’s team hit them. Pen Yiem (Sorapong Chatree) interposes. Fighting erupts, but Ba Song (Lak Apichat) stops all of them and retreats. Pen Yiem meets Monoko. Chao Mae (เจ้าแม่) is upset that her men were chased from the market, so she gives order to burn it. The group led by Ati sees five ladies dancing naked on a cliff. Ati recognizes Monoko among them, but she flees. The group is then attacked by Chao Mae’s villagers. Thanks to Pen Yiem, they succeed in escaping. Pen Yiem refuses to accompany them to the sacred land border as it is too dangerous. Phairoj Jaising leads another village. Villagers' delegations meet each other. Only one village can protect the sacred land. A fighting contest occurs between both villages with the best fighters being involved. Jaising’s villagers win the contest. Chao Mae’s men capture Ati’s group. The men are attached under a scorching sun. Pen Yiem helps Jaising’s villagers, who are attacked again by Chao Mae’s villagers. Pen Yiem also releases Ati’s group. Meanwhile young lady Dao, a member of Jaising’s village, also helps. Pen Yiem declares his love to Dao. Distrust happens between both villages as Chao Mae’s villagers don't accept peace despite being defeated in an official contest. Fight and shooting still happen between the two villages as Ba Song is pushing for confrontation. Being defeated, Ba Song comes back to the village and kills Chao Mae. He then kills Ta Moo Yan through a fierce duel as he wishes to become new village leader. Ati wants to meet Monoko. They are finally captured by Jaising’s villagers. Pen Yiem forces Jaising to find a solution. Jaising agrees to release them, but they need to go through hell gates first. Pen Yiem defeats Ba Song so Ati and his men are allowed to leave. As Dao has helped outsiders, she is condemned to go through the hell gates...

It is a low budget movie. The soundtrack belongs to other movies such as “Shaft”. There are quite a few nice sequences with Sorapong Chatree but the overall film editing is average. It is in fact a movie made with other movies sequences from Sorapong Chatree so that is why the editing is so poor! The numerous love sequences seem here only to ensure the movie can last 1h18. A new police officer (ผู้กอง) Kamtenthong (Sorapong Chatree) arrives in North of Thailand. A ring leader called Dam has dirty businesses such as helping people to cross Thai border illegally, drugs traffic, smuggling of weapons. Many fights and shootings happen between wealthy men (พ่อเลี้ยง) teams. Dam (Rith Luecha) benefits of it until police starts to involve into his business also to stop the numerous killings. Finally police rushes into Dam's ranch and neutralize the ruffians and hitmen. But the leaders are not here. Dam's secretary, Pen, is the one informing the police. It causes the ruffians’ leaders to believe the other team betrays them as police is always there when weapons trading is happening. Dam is finally also neutralized through a final shooting. Pen was an uncovered policeman. It is a typical Thai action movie from 1980s mixing some Hong Kong style action sequences such as flying jump. Year 1987 was very prolific with action movies as Panna Rittikrai started to release his own action movies also. Movie บินเดี่ยวเหยี่ยวพระกาฬ features a few actors from 1970s action movies such as Phairoj Jaising but they look quite tired except Sorapong Chatree.

During Vietnam war some Thai soldiers are facing the Vietcong resistance. It is their last days of their engagement. Cheut Cheun's father forces his daughter to leave Vietnam in order to secure a better future for her. The smugglers are part of the mafia. Those evil men rape the young girl on the boat. The boat is hijacked by Thai ruffians and the boat people are put in a cage. The young girls are transferred to another boat by the ruffians, who wish to send them to Thailand. Athit and his friend Wat accidentally see Cheut Cheun. She was sent to a bordel. Athit promises to help. Cheut Cheun refuses to obey the mamasan (มาม่าซัง) so faces wrath from her and is tortured (ทรมาน). The mamasan considers the girls (เด็กผู้หญิง) as things and now wishes to send them to singapore due to the deranging noise made by Athit. It is difficult for Athit to free Cheut Cheun due to the mamasan's bad influence (อิทธิพล). He wishes to buy a ticket to send her back to Vietnam. He convinces the police to investigate and helps to gather proofs. He doesn't have enough money to buy her back so he tries to organize an escape but it fails. His friend Wat is killed. The police finally arrests (จับ) the mamasan and her ruffians. This movie highlights the boat people phenomena and the mafia taking profit of it. The main actress is from Philippines. She might had less concern that Thai actresses to play sexy scenes. Soundtrack from Dario Argento's horror movies is used.

This movie is divided into two parts, a first comic part when Thewan, a student, in order to seduce Nuanchan acts like a company owner. But he is only the company owner's car driver! Finally Nuanchan finds out the truth. The second part is more dramatic when Nuanchan decides to become a teacher in a remote Thai village. She succeeds to find money to have a big school built. She even convinces older people to learn how to read to reduce illiteracy. Due to a sudden cancer detection, she has to handover the job to Thewan. She has to leave her job as school teacher to go abroad for treatment so causing despair and cries from the village inhabitants who love her so much. This film highlights the importance of literacy at all ages.

The mother Piathip and Pon come to the poor house to get Nat back. As he isn't there, Kaew gets insulted. Finally, Jaising chases Nat from his home when he knows he is the son of Piathip. Nat accepts to marry Pon following his mother's insistence. Learning the event through newspaper, Kaew asks Jaising to go to the wedding. The wedding is finally broken as it is disclosed that Pon has many debts and Janthana also discloses Pon is not her daughter. Chirasak explains the truth to all parties. An international police squad (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea and Philippines) investigates on a crime ring called "Asian King". The Police squad (ตำรวจสากล) is led by Somchai Samipak. The "Asian King" gang is led by Bulap (Sahat Piempongsan) and เมือง อพอลโล่. In Hong Kong, Rith Luecha performs a robbery inside a jewellery. The owner is shot by Rith. David is against the shooting so he gets knockout by Rith. Rith and his men flee and meet with their local boss, Suchao Pongwilai. Police chase them but they succeed to escape by boat. David, arrested by Hong Kong police, is accused of international diamond robbery but released as proofs are not enough. Thai police follows him to spy his activities as they still have doubts on him. A whole international Police team is gathering to fight the Asian King gang. Win (Sorapong Chatree) is one of the Police team leader. Lady Napossa (Naowarat Yooktanun) joins the team as her jeweller father was killed by Asian King gang. David is back to Thailand as he wants to get revenge over the "Asian King" gang, who killed his family as retaliation. Diamonds are stolen again during a Bangkok diamond show despite the police presence. David saves Suwana’s life (Piyamas Monayakol) by being shot instead of her. Catherine (Chaweewan Boonprok), part of Asian King team, gets the tasks to kill some male policemen. She targets David first but fails. Songthong is part of Thai police also. Rumours are heard that Asian King team needs to gather in Pattaya. Asian King team tries all ways to get rid of the special police force but to no avail. Asian King team’s cache entrance is hidden under a hotel swimming pool. Two members are captured and Songthong is shot dead. Win and Napossa are also captured. The other members localise also the cache. All members succeed to escape. The Thai army comes to help the policemen to neutralize the Asian King tean. Through a final battle, many characters are injured or killed while assaulting the Asian King gang’s fortress. Win's self sacrifice inside the fortress succeeds to destroy it. A Thai TV serie or Lakorn (ละคร) based on this story was also done in 2003. Despite a classic scenario, the highest value of this movie is to include the finest bunch of Thai actors from beginning of 1980s decade.

A mysterious soldier (Hong Kong actor ฉีเส้าเฉียน / Norman Chu), called Norman, helps Asuma and her sister aggressed by ruffians. Tong Chi fights against Norman as he believes he tries to seduce Asuma. Lao Thong and Norman also fight. Norman asks to meet Lao to buy weapons. Norman kidnaps Soyi as he wishes to infiltrate the ruffians. Lao tries to release his sister but he is defeated by Norman. Lao Thong releases Soyi and takes away the weapons with Tong Chi. Lao Thong defeats Norman but spares his life. Tong Chi hides weapons inside Lisu village. The village is stormed by ruffians. All gather to storm the ruffians' place. The big leader is identified as Decha (Kecha Plianvithee). Fightings and explosions occur with all ruffians being killed but unfortunately Lao and Tong Chi also die.

At nighttime ruffians come again but Yot shoots one of them. In the following morning, the local village headman comes with the police to arrest the two men. Following a misunderstanding between thugs, Yot and Than can flee. Yot continues his way to find the murderers of his parents. He finds two of them and learns that a rich man (เศรษฐีใหญ่) from Phrae and Nan provinces has ordered to get the red jade. Meanwhile the local village headman chases Than up to his home and shoots his wife. This is his final crime as Than shoots him also. Arrived in Nan, Yot receives help from the local mafia head Sai Wan as he had arguments with a prostitute in a local hotel. Sai Wan recruits Yot. Meanwhile Than enters Pho Liang Rak's ruffian team. Fights happen between the local mafia teams. Yot identifies that Pho Liang Rak is responsible of his parents' death. Pho Liang Rak and his team are neutralized but then Yot and Than fight over the red jade. They finally realize they are brothers. They decide to sell the red jade to build a Buddhist temple. This movie is a Thai Tom Yum (ต้มยำ) western from decades 1970s-1980s.

Pho Luang's girlfriend is called Taorung (Thitima Sangkapitak). Porjed Kaenpetch, playing a policeman, is investigating on the ruffians' activities. Pim is the niece (หลานสาว) of Seua Tot. Lak Apichat is part of Seua Tot's team. Kit helps Tot betrayed by one of his teammates. Meanwhile Pim is disfigured and raped by Pho Luang's ruffians. Seua Tot promises revenge. Tot takes revenge on Pho Luang's mother. They also kidnap Pho Luang's wife Taorung and ask for 500 000 baht (ผู้นรก) ransom. Pho Luang and his men chase after them. They take refuge in a Christian village (หมู่บ้านศาสนา). Kit and Seua Tot's team diverge and split. Seua Tot’s team falls into an embuscade and Seua Tot is left for dead. Fed up to always been chasen, Kit decides to counterattack. Kit shoots Pho Luang's men and through a final fight, both Pho Luang and Kit fall from a cliff but only Kit survives. Ot (Phairoj Jaising) takes over Pho Luang’s illegal business. Some ruffians led by Ot try to kill Kit. Kit ends up facing the policeman Pat (Porjed Kaenpetch). Pat is former lover of Taorung and still loves her. Taorung’s heart is still split but promises forever love to Kit (ดวงเดียว). Meanwhile Kit only sees himself as a staff of Taorung. He meets Farung (Supansa Nuengpirom) and asks her father (Sithao Petcharoen) to teach him Thai boxing. Ot and his men decide to get rid of Kit. Pat chases the ruffians and ends up in a duel with Ot. Kit helps Pat before Ot can shot him. Seua Thot also saves Kit but dies, being shot by Ot. All ruffians being neutralized, Kit ends up with both Taorung and Farung.

Boon Peng tries to use love potion (น้ำมันพราย) to win Prin's heart. Thiu becomes an adversary (รู้มากแล้ว). Prin cannot refuse as she needs to show gratitude (กตัญญู) to her mother. Boon Peng wants to accelerate the wedding date but Thiu decides to fight back (ต่อสู้สำหรับความรักของเรา). It is Thiu's real Love (ศักดิ์สิทธิ์) against Boon Peng's bad black magic. Meanwhile another Boon Peng's follower wishes to be her wife. Boon Peng has to kill her as she was threatening to announce their relationship to the whole village. The daughter is witness that her mother stopped at Boon Peng's house. Thiu arrests Boon Peng, who is condemned to death by decapitation. According to the legend swords couldn't cut his head (ดาบฟันไม่เข้า) until he accepts remorse (ชดใช้กรรม). He was finally captured and killed in 1919. A version of this story was done in 1967. Sombat Methanee was already the main actor.

They stay in an old friend's domain. Saming finally accepts to teach Phet. Young lady Kulap (Duangcheewan Komolsen) becomes Wai's girlfriend. Uncle Krong teaches Phet how to become a strong fighter. Duang Ta wishes Phet to forget, but he still wishes to take revenge. Saming leaves them to enter monkhood. A new hitman (Chanee Yotchai) is arriving in the city. Duang Ta informs Phet and Wai that ruffians are coming to shoot them. Ruffians storm the village and capture some villagers as they refuse to disclose where Saming is. Kulap and Wai inform Saming. Saming, seeing ruffians trying to shoot his friends, finally stops the monk ordination and goes to help them. Meanwhile, Chanee Yotchai shoots the father Krong. Saming and Dao Leuang, wishing to avenge her father, storm the ruffians' camp. Heavy shootings occur. Chanee and Saming are injured. About to kill Saming, Chanee is shot by Dao Leuang, avenging her father. Unfortunately, she is also shot by another ruffian. Most of the ruffians are dead and Dam is about to shoot Saming. Phet puts his gun on Dam's temple and asks him to drop his gun. Duang Ta puts her gun on Phet's temple and asks him to drop his gun. Finally shots happen. Saming and Dam die but Duang Ta doesn't shoot Phet. Love is stronger than hate.

A new baby is born and is called Ai Fa Pha (ไอ้ฟ้าผ่า) as it is born during a storm. Many years have passed. Yoo (Krung Srivilai) is back from university. His surname is Fa Pha. Yoo and Beung want to help Sin who is treated like a slave by the sub-district headman family. Sin loves Kru, the daughter of Kamnan Pho. Beung kills both the brother and the father. Phalat accepts bribe (ใช้อำนาจ) from a Thai Chinese businessman. Beung wants to arrange a wedding between Sin and Kru but finally Kru becomes Yoo's fiancee as Sin doesn't want to be forced anymore! Phalat wishes to marry Anoolak. But she is still awaiting for Yoo. Her father was forced to fiance her with Phalat due to some debts. Phalat organizes kidnapping of Anoolak. She finally escapes thanks to Sin. Beung shoots the Chinese businessman to stop corruption. Young lady Nokarin likes Beung, an eternal bachelor. Fa Pa, convinced by his family and Anoolak, finally surrenders to the police and his complaints are heard by the district officer. Palat and his acolytes are dismissed (ยุติธรรม). The weddings Yoo / Anoolak and Sin / Kru can happen. But Palat wishes for revenge. They storm the wedding ceremony and shoot guests. The ruffians are defeated but Sin and Beung are shot dead while trying to protect each other. It is linked to their karma. Good deeds are recompensed but bad deeds are paid. Beung’s killings are finally paid despite he killed bad people only. A few romantic songs are performed during the movie.

Don wishes to meet นาย Prachuap as he wishes to work for him. At nighttime he investigates their warehouses and finds boxes full of M16 weapons. Prachuap is upset as his stock of weapons hidden on the island has disappeared. Simulating being a spirit doctor (หมอดู), Phairoj Jaising is visiting the ruffians site. He meets เสีย Prachuap's girlfriend (Tharika Thidathip). Jaising is undercover policeman. He is recognised and captured. Don succeeds to release him and flees with Bulam. The ruffians succeed to kidnap the ladies again. Fightings happen with the police. Ruffians are overcome. Net tries to flee with the van with the girls and runs over Prachuap. He finally crashes the van in a ravine causing his death and death of Bulam also. Nori finally understands that Lom, Don and Jaising are all policemen.

Drunk ruffians are terrorizing a shop while listening to an old Boney M song. Sukol gives them a lesson. Seuabin (Rith Luecha) is the leader of the ruffians. They kidnap villagers and force them to work as slaves (ทาส). Sukol (Sombat Methanee) is working in a gambling den (บ่อน). He meets his old friend Phairoj Jaising. They were former Thai soldiers during the war in Laos. Both of them have been requested to meet in this remote Isan city by their old friend Siaw (Manop Aussawathep). Siaw requests help as his two sisters, Bao (Mayura Thanabutr) and Mon (Duangjai Hathaikarn), have disappeared. They are part of the working slaves (ทำไร่กัญชา) and have been lured by fake job offers. Bao is sick but to get medicine from the guards, women have to offer their body. No problem (มาเลย) for Chai (Piathip Kumwong), who is a former kind hearted prostitute, in order to help Bao. As usual Pipop Pupinyo is playing the ruthless ruffian also. Sukol loves to eat Larb Luat dish (ลาบเลือด). Phairoj, simulating to be an up country bumpkin, is recruited as worker by the agency offering expensive fake jobs. Seua Ling (Sawin Sawangrat) is the big boss. Meanwhile showing his fighting and shooting skills, Sakol is recruited by Seua Ling. Rivalry happens between Sakol and Seuabin as both are skilled gunman (มือปืน). When Chai is sick, nobody is helping her (ใจหมา). She dies during the night refusing Mon to sacrifice herself for her. Sakol asks Siaw to provide explosives. Sawin has an important 500 kg shipment to be done so extra ruffians come. New plan is to release all inmates and not only the two sisters. Seuabin prepares a putsch against Seua Ling as he is upset that Seua Ling is too friendly with Sakol and also wishing to get a bigger share of money. The plan seems to go wrong when Seuabin captures and tortures Sakol to know the truth. Phairoj organises the inmates uprising and uses weapons hidden by Siaw in the field. Through a thrilling and explosive final, all ruffians are defeated or killed. Finally Siaw offers his two sisters to Sakol and Phairoj as rewards. ลาบเลือด is a 2h08mn Thai western.

Multiple shootings happen during which Dara, SangVien, Nida and many ruffians lost their life. Malboro dies following a boat accident while fighting with Phukphan. There is a moralist nationalist ending as Wen, who helps Thai police, survives his injuries. He gets framed by drug traffickers and ends up in jail. Policeman Kanchit (Kanchit Kwanpracha) is building a team including Somjing (Piyamas Monayakol) to fight traffickers. He asks to get Labeu in his team as he believes he is not guilty and it would be a redemption opportunity. Decha killed Kwan's real father many years ago to take over the business. Decha refuses to share the drugs money benefits with his colleagues and imprisons them. Getting back Kwan, he takes refuge in a hidden maze but it gets storms by Labeu and the police. Decha is killed by Apichat. The drugs gang is annihilated and Labeu reinserted in the police as officer (สารวัตร).

Subdistrict headman Phichit is using bad influence (อิทธิพล), strong power (อำนาจ) and money to control the area and performs robbery (ปล้น). His team commits bus burglary under Khun Don name. Pui is accused of roberry and jailed by police officer (ผู้กอง) Thanu (Phairoj Jaising). Mysteriously the district offer orders to free Pui. Bulai joins Khun Don's team to fight subdistrict headman Phichit. Amorous jousts happens between the main characters. Infiltering Phichit's team, Bulai provides information to catch him and his ruffians. Police and army join. Following heavy gun fights, Phichit and his thugs are neutralized (ทำร้ายชาติ). As often during such Thai action movies, it is revealed that three young ladies were undercover policewomen. Pui is a also a policeman and Khun Don is a soldier. Plaew uses ruffians from other provinces to avoid being involved. Plaew sends bikers to storm the market. The bikers are pushed back but Sawin dies during the fightings. Plaew is fed up to lose so he decides to act under his real name, i.e. Seua Klaew! Ruffians kidnap the four ladies. It turns badly and Jane is shot. Sayan Chantaraviboon is injured by Jane before being shot. Worried to die, Sayan lets Nit and Kate to search for a doctor for him. The four friends storm the ruffians' den. Heavy shooting shootings occur. Police arrives also. Plaew, upset that Sayan let two ladies to flee, shoots Sayan and the nurse Reudi. All ruffians are killed. Sa carries the nurse body.

Phi Saen (Kanchit Kwanpracha) takes care of Neung and Sai, Hin's nephews. Ang (Lak Apichat) always follows Hin to help him. Lom’s girlfriend is called Chada (Wiyada Umarin) and is the daughter of Pho Lieng. Hin just wants to take care of his nephews and not bring trouble regarding the land (ผมมาดี). A new house is built and vegetables are planted. Hin wears colorful shirts (สีแปลกๆ). On the way to sell the corn, Hin's truck is stolen and Hin is beaten. Dam Datsakorn and Rith Luecha are the ones behind. They are Pho Lieng’s faithful lieutenants! As Hin is at hospital, Rith kidnaps Sai. Ruffians fail to kill Hin at the hospital so he is aware through Neung and Fon. Pho Lieng (Kecha Plianvithee), the big boss, wishes to marry Fon but Loi knows his daughter will never accept. Seua Tim (Manop Aussawathep) is seen with Pho Lieng but keeps his independence. Hin finds Sai but it is too late as she has been raped and killed. Hin has to forget his previous Buddhist vows (เรื่องคนชั่ว) to take revenge. Hin reuses the chain that was used to kill Sai in order to hit the ruffians. Fierceful fights happen between Hin and Rith / Dam in an underground casino. Despite Hin winning, Pho Lieng orders the ruffians to kill Hin but Seua Tim forbids as guns are not allowed in his casino. Hin kidnaps Fon to bring trouble to Kamnan Loi. Pho lieng orders to kill Subdistrict headman Loi as this latter refuses to enter in a bigger scale of corruption (แบ่งกันกินแบ่งกันใช่). Lom and Fon believes the murderer is Hin. Finally Seua Tim explains the truth to them. Justice happens and all the ruffians are killed. Hin leaves as a lonely cowboy. Movie Maha Hin (มหาหิน) was released in year 1978 and directed by famous action movies director Kom Akadej (เจ้าพ่อหนังบู๊เมืองไทย). This movie really features a big bunches of major actors during decade 1970s. Sombat Methanee got 1M baht to cut his hair and be bald as he couldn't play other movies during many months.

Thai comedy movie มันส์เขาล่ะ was released in year 1978. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 1h03mn is left to be seen. Subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Lor Tok wishes to produce a movie with his daughters and his wife playing as actresses. His wife is played by Chosri Misommon. His daughters include Wassana (Naiyana Shewanan) and Nipaporn Nongnuch. Tawan Siriwat seems to oppose the Subdistrict headman's decision. A photo studio is managed by Prachuap Ruekyamdee and his two friends, i.e. Sayan Chantaraviboon and Rong Kaomulkadee. Prachuap and his friends convince Lor Tok to manage the movie for him. They are now looking for a main actor (พระเอก) for their movie but Fui (Sombat Methanee) is finally hired by mistake. Fui’s close friend is Thep Thienchai. Lor Tok is the movie producer so they use the money to buy a mercedes! He wishes his family to play in the movie. Somphob Benjatikul is his assistant. Fui and Wassana like each other. Boo Wibunnan is hired as movie director. They are also looking for somebody to write the story. Tawan brings them to meet Mui (Kanchit Kwanpracha) as they are looking for a ruffian (นักเลง). A ceremony for the movie launch (เลี้ยงใหญ่โต๊ะ) is organized. Fui has to sing and does it well (it is Sombat Methanee’s real voice). Thuam Thoranong as comic actor is also present. Sahat Piempongsan is used as decorator. Lor Tok always needs to protect his daughters against the young men trying to seduce them. Multiple gags happen during the shooting as Lor Tok doesn’t accept any kiss to his daughters. Phairoj Jaising is involved as actor also and a few ดาวยั่ว are joining (Tharika Thidathip). The movie shooting is a disaster. Kamnan Lor Tok is back to his village and is welcomed by Tawan Siriwat and Suriya Chinaphan singing an ironic son and teasing the Subdistrict headman. This comedy is featuring many famous comic actors from 1970s and more than 18 Thai famous actors / actresses.

Thai movie ไอ้สู้สองสลึง was released in year 1978. It is available on a VCD lasting 1h58. Kwan (Nirut Sirijanya) and Yot (Phairoj Jaising) help two ladies harassed by six ruffians in a village. They both flee the village for Bangkok due to different reasons (one due to a unwanted wedding and the other as a bored rich guy - เศรษฐีผู้เดินดิน). They only do crazy things such as stealing chicken donated to Buddha, burning a car engine...They end up in a city in a very bad hotel but are expelled as a fire starts due to a BBQ in the room. They eat in an expensive restaurant but do not have money to pay the bill. Kokheng is playing a funny waiter. Butr (Duangcheewan Komolsen) is dreaming that Kwan would be her prince. They have to work for the restaurant to pay back. Tamanoon (Sombat Methanee) only arrives at 1h02mn despite being the main actor in the movie credits. Tamanoon's father wishes to marry him with one of the three daughters of Boo Wibunnan, the restaurant owner. Tamanoon wish to marry the three girls but finally choose one, i.e. Ratchanida (Prissana Chabaprai). Ratchanida is not happy by this. They plan to play tricks on Tamanoon with Kwan and Yot’s help by using drinks causing flatulences. But Boo is the one to drink it! Some ruffians kidnap the three daughters and ask for one million baht ransom. Finally thanks to Yot and Tamanoon, the ladies are released. Grateful, weddings are arranged by Boo. This movie is mixing comedy, romance and some action.

Srongklot, a young man, on a trip to Hong Kong, meets Hong, a young Thai-Chinese lady, selling souvenirs on the Peak. She steals his camera but gets caught explaning that her grandma is very sick and poor. Having issues with local mafia, he has to flee and is rescued by Hong. His brother convinces him to go back to Thailand but he has to leave behind Hong as she cannot get a visa for Thailand. Back to Thailand, he meets Kaekai a lady already married but separated with her husband. Her husband refuses to divorce and sends tough men to hit Srongklot. Kaekai kills her husband and kills her-self. Srongklot, being blind after the attack, goes back to Hong Kong to cure his eyes and heart with Hong. Half of the movie is filmed in Hong Kong so it is very interesting to see Hong Kong with boat people in Aberdeen and the landscape from the Peak without high skycrapers.

His father was kidnapped. Some ruffians try to kill him but Atit is faster to shoot them. He meets his old friend Akan (Phairoj Jaising), now Turkish bath manager. Seua Suk (Dam Datsakorn) and Pan Borapet storm the school as village header Thong complained to the police about their ruffians' activities. Teacher (Rewadee Pattaphong) is his daughter. Mokara (Nard Poowanai), a policeman, acting as a telecom company employee, hides a microphone inside Mien Wo's phone. Athit helps Mokara, aggressed by three ruffians, so they sympathize. He promises to help to find his kidnapped father. Mokara identifies that Mien Wo is the ruffians’ leader (นายผู้หญิง) behind the kidnapping. Mokara requests the help of Seua Suk to identify ruffians around. They accept to work together. Upset by this, Mien Wo's team kidnaps the daughter of the village leader Thong to have a guarantee (ตัวประกัน). The dream team composed of Athit, Mokara, Akan, Seua Suk and others prepare to storm the ruffians' place. Pipop Pupinyo is leading the resistance but ruffians are defeated. A foreigner, Athit’s friend, tries finally to betray him and to flee by helicopter with the father. Following a daring fight, the foreigner falls from the helicopter but Seua Suk dies while helping Athit. The DVD movie is certainly composed of two sets of partial reels as sometimes the image is colorful and sometimes it is reddish.

Krot succeeds to flee thanks to a taxi driven by Aranya Namwong. Aranya finds a woman picture in Krung’s jacket pocket. Probably his former wife killed by Sia. Krot shots 3 drugs traffickers. Chit still tries to catch Krot and a fighting happens on a moving truck. Aranya is in fact a policeman. Krot shots Aranya with a sniper rifle despite Aranya saw him. Krot flees and boards a plane to Chiang Mai. His co passenger is similar to Aranya! Her father just died. Two songs are featured in nightclubs. Linda is also killed by Krot. Aranya is surprised that he is so cruel (หน้าตาดีแต่ใจโหดร้าย). Krot is a professional killer (มือปืนรับจ้าง). Police wants to get him alive to know who are the sponsors behind (ผู้ติดต่อ). So Aranya is assigned to this dangerous task. The remaining sequence ends up here. It could be that Aranya plays two roles. Other actors are กันทิมา, แพน, เทิด, ศักดิ์ชัย, ธานินทร์. It was found in Taiwan under the name "Phoenix the Invincible" as it was released in VHS format. “For your eyes only” (1981) song is featured so the Taiwanese version was released 5 years minimum after the Thai version. This version was released by Taiwanese company New Ship Film Enterprise Co Ltd and lasts 1h27mn. The movie is in Mandarin language with no English subtitles. The movie was also found in Europe under the name “Lady Killer”. It lasts 1h28mn and was released under VHS format by company Budget Label. The original movie has been cut to fit in standard TV format 4:3. Krung Srivilai enters as a robber in a house to steal money from a safe. He is the son of the victim! He steals his own father as he needs money! Krung is living with two close friends, i.e. Sayan Chantaraviboon, a steward and photographer, and Pumi Patanayut. Krung and his father despise each other. Krung keeps asking money from his father. He is finally disheritated and his father recommends him to find a lady to nurture him. Trying to gain easy money, Krung loses a big amount to Phairoj Jaising during cards games. Phairoj doesn’t give him any credit as he knows Krung has been disheritated. Krung meets Aranya Namwong having problems with her car. Aranya is coming from a rich family. Nirut Sirijanya is her brother. Krung is working as gigolo to earn a living. Sirikwan Nanthasiri meets Krung in a bar. She is Phairoj’s girlfriend. Ruffians argue in a pool bar but Kanchit Kwanpracha stops them. Kanchit then spends good time with Sirikwan. Kanchit joins Phairoj’s team and takes active part to develop the business. Krung is going out with Orasa Isarangkul as he keeps acting as a gigolo. Finally, Kanchit wants more money from Phairoj for his business participation. It makes Phairoj upset. During a birthday party, two guys (including Pumi) are bothering Aranya but Krung helps. It is a trick as Krung knows well Pumi. Krung and Aranya sympathise and a romance starts. Phairoj’s ruffians fail to kill Kanchit. As Phairoj's ruffians fail to get rid of Kanchit through a fight, they finally shoot him. Before dying, Kanchit gave a secret notebook to Sirikwan. Nirut, Aranya's brother, doesn't want her to meet Krung again as he only takes profit of women as gigolo. Krung claims to have changed and has stopped working as a gigolo. Phairoj loves Aranya also. Aranya’s father meets Krung but it turns sour. The father is bankrupted so he has to promise his daughter to Phairoj. Phairoj hires Aranya as secretary. Krung has to find 2M USD to pay the father’s debts but no way to find such amount. Aranya is not happy working with Phairoj but she has to pay back her father’s debts. Fighting in a disco involving Krung and his friends happens again. Sirikwan asks Krung to keep a secret notebook. Phairoj wishes to break with Sirikwan in order to be with Aranya. Sirikwan accepts but threatens him to provide a secret notebook to the police if he doesn't give her a huge amount of money. Phairoj shots Sirikwan. Krung, having the notebook, informs the police. The secret notebook includes all details about Phairoj’s illegal business. Thai police is storming Phairoj's den. About to be caught, Phairoj takes Aranya as hostage. Krung risks his life to save her and shows he really cares for her. Krung is injured but Phairoj is shot dead.

Urot (มณีวรรณ ภาสพันธุ์), Sakuna's friend, recommended her to work at nighttime. Sakuna accepts the model job as she is not interested in nighttime working job. Chakawan forces her to have a relation in his hotel room. Sakuna refuses to meet him anymore. Later on, Sakuna receives a letter from her fiance Khanat, who is studying overseas. Back to Thailand, Sakuna starts to work as a secretary in a company owned by Somkuan. Somkuan Krajangsat is Chakawan's father! Amayichi (Phairoj Jaising) is a new manager from Japan and is working in Somkuan's company with Chakawan. Sakuna is pregnant but she refuses to tell who the father is (ลูกไม่ตั้งใจ). Chakawan wishes to take responsibility but he has another wife, Linda, in the Philippines. Vadika, Kaem’s (Marasri Bangchang) daughter, is hired as a new secretary. Chosri Misommon, Sakuna's mother, asks for money. Amayichi gives a lot of tasks to the new secretary as he saw her with Chakawan so he is concerned for Sakuna. By keeping her busy, she will have no time to be around Chakawan. Sakuna's mother spends a lot of money gambling (30,000 THB). She asks her daughter to pay her debt. Sakuna still thinks about doctor Khanat. For the sake of her future child, Sakuna moves in a house rented by Chakawan (ทำหน้าที่). Mother (Amara Asavananda) visits Chakawan and Sakuna. Somkuan and Amara had Chakawan as son but finally Somkuan stayed with Kaem. Somkuan doesn't want his son to do the same mistake as he did. Khanat asks Sakuna to fly to Canada as he received a worrying letter from Sakuna's mother. Upset by her situation, Sakuna tries to get suicide. Amayichi takes care of her. Linda stops her relationship with Chakawan knowing he has another pregnant wife. Chakawan disappears for a few days. Sakuna has an accident as she jumps out of the car after an argument with Kaem. The baby dies. Chakawan is upset as he believes she did it on purpose. Chakawan pays Sakuna's mother expenses so the mother doesn't want to lose such a good son-in-law. She wants her daughter Sakuna to forget Khanat. Amayichi tries to help (ความเข้าใจ). Situation is difficult as both still love each other but nobody is willing to disclose his heart, so they remain blocked on misunderstanding. Everybody wants to find solutions for them, i.e. Somkuan, the mother and Amayichi. Sakuna announced to Khanat that she will not follow him overseas. Chakawan is going to leave Thailand for Australia. Amayichi is saying goodbye at the airport. He announces he is going to marry Vadika. Inside the plane to Australia, Chakawan is reading a farewell letter from Sakuna saying she is sitting the row behind Chakawan...

Thai movie เผาขน was released in year 1976. The movie was never released on VCD or DVD in Thailand but a collector saved the film from 16mm format into VHS many years ago. The copy was not so good and was in red color as the film was already old. It lasts 1h44mn and is incomplete. The movie was also released in Italy under the name Lezi Puca Se (Lay Down and Die). It was also released by IFD Films and Arts, a Hong Kong company, under the name Bionic Heroes (1977) and lasts 1h25mn. The VHS rip is still colorful and sharp but the original Thai version has been reduced and cut to fit VHS standard format. Some sequences missing in the Thai remaining version are present in the international release. Enemies are trying to enter Thailand. At the border, Fon (Sombat Methanee) refuses to meet his younger sister Naiyana. He has to investigate who is providing weapons for Thai enemies. The enquiry leads him to a bunny bar, owned by Manop Aussawathep. Both Aranya Namwong and Pong (Phairoj Jaising), sister and brother, have resentments against Manop as he failed to honour the promise to their father to take care of them. They are used by him for low jobs. Pong (Phairoj Jaising) keeps having arguments with Dam, Manop's right hand. Boo Wibunnan is shot by Kanchit Kwanpracha, who ends up in jail. Aranya is having issues with Ah, an older man, who is trying to rape her as she was sold by Manop. Pong shoots him deadly. Pong and Aranya are then chased by the police. Prisoners Kanchit and Yodchai Meksuwan escape from the prison and are chased by the police. Some ruffians led by Dam Datsakorn try to shoot them while they are fleeing. They split to increase the chance for escape. Yodchai meets Pong and Aranya. They bring him temporarily with them to avoid police but then get rid of him on the backside of the road. Manop Aussawathep's girlfriend is played by Moeifa. Both Pong and Aranya fail to kill Manop. Kanchit wishes to revenge also on Manop as he believes he was betrayed. Manop pacifies everybody and Yodchai joins the team also. Dam, Yodchai and Kanchit do a heroin traffic in the train. Naiyana Shewanan spies them. Manop, as head of the traffickers, is upset as his latest traffic was discovered by the police so there must be a spy in his team. Manop decides to use Aranya for a Thai boxing match in order to exchange drugs versus money among a busy crowd. The niece of Manop is Pissamai (Neranchala Thaleungsak). Pissamai and Pong become very close. Chosri Misommon is playing Aranya's Thai boxing trainer. Choomporn Theppitak is playing a drug trafficker. Aranya wins her Muay Thai boxing match. Nayana spies Kanchit and his ruffians charging drugs in a truck. Yodchai convinces the ruffians that he will manage Nayana by himself. As Manop tries to abuse Pissamai, Pong helps her and they flee together chased by Dam. Meanwhile Fon shows to Aranya that Manop uses her as a mule only as drugs is hidden under banknotes. They also flee. Pong is captured while trying to release Nayana. Fon flees with Aranya and Pissamai. While trying to capture drug dealer Choomporn, Fon is finally neutralized by Pipop Pupinyo, Pan Borapet and Kanchit. They are transferred to the ruffians' base by helicopter. Fon is attached to a rope under the helicopter. He falls in a lake. Ruffians are attacking a border station to let enemies enter Thailand. Some ruffians are changing side such as Kanchit trying to protect Yodchai, who was the one always informing the police. The movie highlights police and military helping each other to push back enemies of Thailand. Pong and Pissamai die in each other’s arms while fighting for Thailand. Director Kom Akadej is also having a small role as policeman. The movie features a very big number of famous Thai actors / actresses from decade 1970s.

Payoong Payakul is the director of the Thai movie “8 เหลี่ยม 12 คม”. His wife Prissana Chabaprai is also playing. The movie was released in year 1976 and lasts 1h44mn. The image is a bit reddish and damaged as being the last copy still available on the market. The selling point of the point, according to the poster, is the presence of six movie stars (ดาราเอกโคจร) including Runglawan Sripatimakul, Prissana Chabaprai, Naiyana Shewanan, Nard Poowanai, Sombat Methanee, Phairoj Jaising. The movie features also a few ดาวยั่ว (วิกาวดี, Khomapat Attaya, Moeifa, มิสหลาบยัง) acting in a few daring sequences. A jewellery robbery does happen. Khom (Sombat Methanee) and Chitchai (Dam Datsakorn) are involved. An overseas buyer is now expected in a few days. Anita (Naiyana Shewanan) is the younger sister of Chitchai. Chitchai fails to steal the jewellery suitcase from Khom. Khom sent Krissana (Nard Poowanai) to study in England. Krissana now becomes a policeman. Khom promises it is his last job in order to avoid facing Krissana as a policeman. Tonachai (Phairoj Jaising) with two ladies called Rita and Rosana always help Khom. Chitchai requests the diamonds to Khom earlier than expected. Tonachai has many enemies (ศัตรู) and has a fighting in an underground parking. Chitchai sent some ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, Phirapon Piyawan...) but it fails. In the morning, Khom brings the 10M baht jewellery for Rita to check. The hotel groom exchanges the small suitcases while they are not aware. Police head asks Krissana to neutralise this jewellery ring. Krissana starts by entering Chitchai's nightclub, i.e. the Suzi bar, by claiming being a life insurance seller. Chitchai's ruffians aware that Krissana is certainly a cop tries to kill him but without success. Khom is concerned that he may face sooner or later Krissana (ปัญหาตัดสินใจไม่ถูก). Krissana gets information from Anita, who is his girlfriend. Khom believes the diamonds have been stolen by Chitchai's team. Rita is in fact part of Chitchai's team also and is finally shot by them. Chitchai captures Khom. The jewels are going to be used in a weapons deal exchange. Aware of the exchange place, Tonachai and the ladies head there. Krissana brings policemen there and also helps to release Khom. The HQ is then stormed and Chitchai is captured. Chitchai recognises his mistakes and is finally happy about the relationship of Rita and Krissana.

Yan fails to reach a business agreement with Boo. Boo's men take compromising pictures of Lot and Yu Mei. Meanwhile Jom (Sorapong Chatree) and See Thong, his wife, get a job as a clerk in Yan's mining company. Sola, Yan's daughter (Runglawan Sripatimakul), is back from overseas. Pipop Pupinyo has arguments with Pan Borapet as he hurts one of his teammates. Pipop knows Yan well. Pan and Krai wish to hurt Boo's workers, so they send men to attack a woman at nighttime. Upset by this night attack, Jom, Lot and Sola storm their camp and take their weapons. Unwilling to settle, Boo and his men enter Yan's mining company to complain. Finally they retreat as Taptim realizes some men, working for her father, did behave badly. At nighttime, Boo's men enter Yan's company dormitories and assault ladies. The overseer is corrupted and has opened the door to ruffians. He now accuses Yan of being unable to protect his staff. While Jom is away, See Thong is raped and killed. Jom quits his job in Yan's mine in order to get revenge. Chiep (Uten Boonyong) arrives in the city. He stays in Sukon Koewliam's house where his two daughters, including Duangjai Hathaikarn, are fond of him. As Chiep is having a strong punch, Sia Boo wishes to recruit him and he accepts. As Taptim has studied in university, Chiep tries to convince her that her father activities are wrong (เดือดร้อน) towards villagers. As she is a university graduate, she shouldn't tolerate this. Jom ends up in Seua Hin's territory. Ruffians believe Jom is a hidden cop but Pipop confirms he is working for Yan. Knowing his will to avenge See Thong, Seua Hin's team trains him to become a strong fighter. Boo's team puts the compromising picture of Lot and Yu Mei together, so Yan spies them and catches them together. He chases both of them from his domain. Yan and his daughter Sola are then alone to manage the mine with no protection. Upset, Yu Mei joins Boo's team. Taptim is looking for a solution to the conflict between Yan and Boo. She decides to visit Yan with Duangjai and Chiep. Upset, Boo forbids his daughter to go anywhere. As Chiep shoots one of Sia's ruffians trying to rape a villager, he is considered as a traitor (ทรยศ) and imprisoned. Jom joins Yan as he has finished his training. Moeifa drugs Yu Mei so that she cannot refuse Sia's advances. Moeifa’s plan is to take the team control with Lot. Yu Mei is punished and killed by Lot. Knowing Yu Mei’s death, Yan requests a one to one duel with Sia. Yan shoots Sia Boo but then Lot cowardly shoots Yan also. Lot is the new leader. Meanwhile Taptim helps Chiep to flee. Jom and Chiep fight back in order to defeat Lot and his ruffians. The area now becomes ruffians free.

Three men are arrested by the Thai police following a trip to Hong Kong as they are suspected to sell drugs. They are released as no proofs are found. They met a guy called Daeng in the cell and befriended together. A young lady, Maria, Tawai's assistant, pick them up. Daeng is trying to join Tawai's secret organization, which is buying and selling weapons and drugs. Such organization undermines Thailand. As Tawai orders Daeng to kill Krit (Sombat Methanee), Daeng reveals that he is a hidden policeman and convinces Krit, who is a drug smuggler, to join his side. Policemen and gangster groups go to the golden triangle, border between Thailand, Laos and Burma. Heavy fightings happen between both groups. The country traitors are killed or captured. Some policemen are killed but they didn't die in vain as they give their life for the nation, the religion and the monarchy. It is a typical action movie of mid 1970s in which Thailand needs to be protected against external red communist threat. There is a rupture with traditional movies as Thai actors shake hands, listen to western music and kiss ladies in front of spirits shrines.

Two CIA agent are slain in Pattaya by a mysterious scarface man. A CIA top management meeting is organised in Washington. A nuclear missile called Alpha has been stolen. All of them are implicated in this Alpha project. Another American agent called Reddy is flying from Hong Kong to find the missile hidden somewhere in Thailand. Reddy tries to meet Koo’s daughter, Erica. Reddy and Erica had a former romantic relation and still love each other after 4 years of separation. Zee (Krung Srivilai) is like a son for Koo and also his favorite henchman. Zee loves Erica also. He doesn’t trust Reddy and believes he is a undercover CIA agent. Two secret agents of Thailand are also supporting Reddy in his quest. Koo's mistress is played by Pawana Chanajit, the Pearl of Asia. She is in fact working for Fuji group. Koo doesn't want his daughter to see Reddy. An impressive car chasing and shootings takes place during Chiang Mai Songkran festival between Ruddy, Erica and Fuji members. Reddy is captured while entering Koo’s house. Erica helps Reddy to flee as he has been drugged. Reddy finally finds the missile after multiple fighting scenes against Fuji group and against Zee. Zee really loved Erica as he sacrifices his own life to avoid her being shot by Fuji members. This movie is fully packed with actions sequences such as train collision, boat chase, shooting, car chase, helicopter gunned down... The movie includes multiple treacheries and double agents. It is nice to see so many Thai actors in this international Hong Kong / Thai movie. Two international stars Robert Mitchum and Olivia Hussey brought more international exposure to this movie. In 1970s Krung Srivilai always played the good guy but in this international production, he is playing well the bad guy. The English dubbing is quite weird but the movie has really a nice budget. This movie is a Bangkok film production. It is available in Thailand as “ตัดเหลี่ยมเพช” and in Hong Kong on VCD format under the title "H-Bomb".

Thai movie หัวใจ 100 ห้อง was released in year 1974. It is a lost movie in Thailand but a sequence of 1h11mn remains to be seen. Klom (Krung Srivilai) (คุณผู้ชาย) comes back home late and is drunk. Klom asks Bang, domestic helper, to bring Khun Klang (Piyamas Monayakol). Klom is very upset. Tam Niem (Phairoj Jaising) is visiting Oon (Aranya Namwong), modern woman smoking and drinking beer. Such characters were not present in 1960s Thai movies. Such characteristics were only for the bad girls but not for the main actress. As soon as Oon left the room, Tam Niem calls another woman called Pan to propose a meeting at 1PM. Krung, married man, calls also Pan for a meeting at 1PM (ดวงใจคนสวย). A third man then calls her. Pan has many boyfriends (ความรักหรือความอยาก). Pan is a modern lady also smoking. Krung gives her 1000 Baht. The third man leaves when she is sleeping and steals the 1000 Baht. Oon calls Klang and argues with her as she believes Klang wishes to steal Klom from her. Klang is still a university student. Klom likes to go to bars and is always flirting (เจ้าชู้). He is also interested in Klang. Klom and Oon had a baby. Klom complains that Oon quit him and so doesn’t allow her to come back. An older woman called Mayura, boss of a hotel, hires her lover Tam Niem as manager. Tam Niem is more interested in her daughter (Runglawan Sripatimakul) but he still keeps visiting Oon. Oon complains that Tam Niem visits her only for lust (อารมณ์ใคร่). Tam Niem brings Oon out and they meet Klom. Despite they are separated, there is jealousy to see each other with another partner. Tam Niem also likes Klang. He wishes to marry her as she represents the purity but maybe Klang has to marry Klom due to gratitude (บุญคุณ). Klom still pays for her studies despite he is separated from Oon. Tam Niem has finally a love story with Mayura’s daughter, who wishes to marry him. Tam Niem is not in hurry. Oon is now pregnant and Tam Niem is considered to be the father. Klang is very upset with him. Tam Niem promises to marry Oon. Meanwhile Klom, aware that Tam Niem also plans to marry Mayura’s daughter, calls Mayura to warn them that Tam Niem is already married with Oon. Tam Niem admits that he loves only Klang so Oon wishes to suicide. Mayura needs to revenge her daughter (เสียตัว). As Oon is about to use a gun to kill herself, Mayura shots Tam Niem three times. Oon falls from the stairs seeing Tam Niem dead. The remaining sequence ends with Oon recovering on a bed with Klang and other family members around. Using women as handkerchief has caused Tam Niem’s demise.

Thai movie รสสวาท / Killer in the dark / 奪命客 was released in year 1973. It lasts 1h35mn. The film is still available in German language but it was originally a Thai / Hong Kong co production. A lady called Jenny (Prim Praphaporn) invites a man in her flat to make love. The movie includes very sexy daring scenes that really differ from Thai movies in the 1960s. As those scenes are played by substitutes (heads are never seen), it is probable that the Thai version never included those daring scenes. Jenny has to go back urgently to Thailand as her father just died. Van (Phairoj Jaising), Mr Lee and Linda (มิสซีซาน / Christine Hui Saan) support Jenny during this difficult time. A man kills a prostitute at nighttime with a razor after having made love to her. His face is not seen. Linda is a press reporter so she investigates. While waiting for Linda, Van sees a strange strong man with a chopping knife so he follows him. It seems to be a crazy man and a fighting erupts. Jenny finally accepts the advances of Mr Lee but another man is always peeping at her. Once Mr Lee is gone, Jenny is also killed with a razor blade. Finally police captures the strange strong man but Van doubts he is the killer. Van finds a shirt button in Jenny's room so he believes Mr Lee is the murderer as he finds a shirt with a missing button belonging to Mr Lee. Mr Lee has an alibi. Another woman is killed. Mr Lee goes again with a prostitute and she is found dead again. A button belonging to Mr Lee is again found near the dead body. Mr Lee is arrested this time. While Van is away, the killer tries to get rid of Linda. The killer chases Linda through car and her mini falls in the water. Mr Lee is then released. Police keeps Van's passport as they believe he could be involved also... Van identifies the murderer (Fong Yau) on a photo developed by Linda. The murderer gets the film roll back but kidnaps Linda to exchange her with the photo kept by Van. Chase happens between the murderer, Van, Mr Lee and the police. The final scenes are taking place in Hong Kong in an old World War 2 fort. Van finally saves Linda from the murderer. Worth to note that Phairoj Jaising’s Chinese name is Poon Lok!

This movie is lost in Thailand but as it was a Thai HK co production, it could still be found overseas under VHS format. A Chinese jewel trader is betrayed and killed in Mae Sai area. Later on Yu (Phairoj Jaising known in Chinese as Poon Lok!) is facing local bunch of thugs. Chan (Michael Chan Wai-Man) helps Yu. Chan is looking for his lost brother involved in jade trade. Old rural life scene such as a cart with buffaloes can still be seen. Having learnt that his brother disappeared, Chan looks for him all around the small city of Mae Sai. He meets Mr Wang, owning a tea shop. Paen Pleumsachai is supporting Yu. Chan knows that his brother is now dead so he enquiries on the murderers. Choi Nan, daughter of Mr Wang, supports and helps Chan. They find Sompon, who is wearing the brother's watch. He bought it from Taimoo, who is linked to local powerful kingpin called Min Pan Tim. In his team Man Teeraphol and Choomporn Theppitak can be found. Chan kills Choomporn believing he is Min Pan Tim. Min Pan Tim injures him in the leg but Chan succeeds to flee thanks to Yu. Chan recovers thanks to Choi Nan. Ruffians burn their house but fail to find them. Knowing that Min Pan Tim has given a day off to most of his ruffians, the four friends storm his house. During the fightings, Mr Wang is killed but Min Pan Tim is defeated also. Surrounded by ruffians, Yu, head of police, helps Chan and Choi Nan on time.

A few songs are featured in the movie similar to all movies beginning of 1970s following huge success of “Mon Rak Luk Tung”. Three men are looking in a remote cave for a mystical cat having real diamond eyes. Chat is the one who finds it first but fighting happens with another man. They shoot each other. The third one being a Prince (หม่อม)(Manop Aussawathep), who finally keeps the jewel and doesn't give it back to Chat's daugher. Ten years have passed. The prince is now disabled, lost his wife and child. The jewel brought him bad luck as he is not the real owner. Niphon (Surasit Sattayawong), Tawan Siriwat, Sisala Thongtara, Sukon Koewliam are his domestic helpers. Tawan Siriwat hires a young lady to get the jewel from the Prince. Meanwhile the prince asks Yot (Phairoj Jaising), being a police inspector (สารวัตร), to look for Chat's daughter called Bussayarat. Bussayarat is now a nurse (Naiyana Shewanan). Sompong Phonmitr is her father and wishes to marry her to a local ruffian in order to get money to continue to buy alcohol. Yot helps Bussayarat aggressed by those ruffians. Yot brings Bussayarat to Bangkok in order to meet the Prince believing he found Chat's daughter. As Bussayarat has still a father, the Prince claims she is not the Bussayarat he is looking for but keeps her as a nurse. Niphon introduces to the Prince a fake Bussayarat played by Malalin Bonnak. The Prince asks for 7 days to ensure (สอบถาม) she is the real one. Meanwhile Tawan Siriwat also introduces to the Prince another fake Bussayarat played by Khomapat Attaya. The diamond is sacred (ของศักดิ์สิทธิ์) so it will bring bad luck to malevolent people. Tawan Siriwat, disguised as a ghost (ผี) frightens Malalin to chase her away. Khomapat also faces many black cats in her room and flees. Niphon is married to Nuan (สุพรรณ บูรณะพิมพ์). Nuan is elder sister of Malalin. Niphon is thinking to flee with Malalin when they get the diamond. As Khomapat is in hospital following her shock, Niphon cuts her oxygen approvisionnement to get rid of a competitor. Seeing Yot loving Bussayarat, Malalin is jealous and tries to take Yot away from Bussayarat. Meanwhile Yot is sent by the prince to meet Phra lo (Lor Tok) in order to bring back the diamond. Tawan Siriwat sends some ruffians to steal it but it fails. A ceremony to handover the diamond (มอบเพชร) to Malalin is organised. It ends badly with Tawan Siriwat trying to steal the diamond and injuring Malalin. Yot shots Tawan Siriwat. Being disfigured, Malalin asks Bussayarat to get the diamond for her so that she can have chirurgical operation. Having the diamond, Malalin prepares to flee with Niphon. Khomapat's aunt called Nathalie shots Malalin to get the diamond. Many deaths happen due to the evil power of the diamond (อำนาจของเพชรตาแมว). Nathalie becomes crazy after Niphon steals the diamond from her. Niphon is chased by the police. He shots by mistake Nuan and finally falls from a building. During an official ceremony, the Prince gives back the diamond to Bussayarat.

The introduction sequence even shows old theater โรงหนังเฉลิมวัฒนา. Korakot is back to his village through a bus from Udon Thani. He gets robbed by two ruffians (นักเลงเจ้าถิ่น) including Yuan (Choomporn Theppitak). They steal a jewellery belonging to his mother. Krit (Chat Mongkolchai) rescues him. Some relief characters are played by Songthong and Sisala Thongtara (ศรีสละ ทองธารา). Krit's sister is played by “bad girl” Donnapha Sophee. Knowing his friend's problems, krit chases after the ruffians. Two are killed but Yuan succeeds to flee. Korakot is not able to hold a weapon or fight back (ใจต้องสู้). Khun Phiset is upset with Krit as two of his men were killed. Korakot shall go to Khun Phiset's home to get back his jewellery. On the way, he meets Plienjai, Khun Phiset's daughter (Aranya Namwong), expert in shooting with Daojai (Darunee Cheunsakul). Yuan claims he doesn't have it. Plienjai likes Korakot. Daojai and Krit (สุภาพบุรุษนักสู้) love each other. Yuan loves Plienjai also but it is not reciprocal so he tries to force her. Khun Phiset chases him away. Korakot gets a training from Krit (คนสู้คน). Yuan forges an alliance with another ruffian leader called Seua Sing (Paen Pleumsachai) to get revenge and plans to kidnap Plienjai. As they get pushed back by Krit and Korakot, Seua Sing prepares more men to join. Enticed to get back his mother's jewellery, Korakot is tortured by Sing and Yuan by being attached to a cross and forced to walk under harsh sun. Meanwhile Songthong is killed through an embuscade. Krit helps Korakot before a full dehydration. Korakot’s mother is played by Marasri Bangchang. A double wedding happens, i.e. Korakot with Plienjai and Krit with Daojai. Yuan, Sing and their ruffians bring troubles to the party by kidnapping the ladies including Krit's sister. Korakot and Krit chase after the ruffians. Seua Sing rapes Krit’s sister. As a bait, Korakot defies Yuan and defeats him while Krit releases the ladies. Through a final shooting, Seua Sing is shot by Krit's sister but she also dies.
