Thai movie ยิงทิ้ง was released in year 1986 and lasts 1h20mn but parts of the movie are cut. Ruffians shoot a van transporting money (ปล้นเงินเดือน). Lak Apichat is injured. Police arrives and catches ruffians but Wong (Chat Mongkolchai) and Pon (Pipop Pupinyo) succeed to flee. Pon hides the money but is also arrested later so Wong doesn't know where the money was hidden. Wut (Sorapong Chatree) is police inspector. He is married to Na (วชิรา วงษ์วัชร์), who complains he doesn't give enough time to his family (เป็นหน้าที่). Head of police Choomporn Theppitak enquiries if Lak is involved in the robbing or not. Choomporn gives the case to Wut. By enquiring, Wut meets Wong and Pao Porapak but they succeed to escape due to the mistakes of other policemen. Wong and Pao succeed to release Pon. Choomporn asks Wut to get them back but Wut requests an assistant (ผู้ช่วย), i.e. Lak. As Pon is reluctant to give back the money, Wong kidnaps his wife (พิศมัย ภุมมา). Meanwhile Wut and Lak are chasing Pol also. They fail to catch Wong and Pao despite Pol leads them to their house. Wut verifies that Mon (Sinaporn Philailak) doesn't hide Wong anymore. Choomporn starts to lose patience as Wong is still not captured by Wut. By spying Mon, Wut finally gets back the money but Wong succeeds to escape. Wong kidnaps Na in order to force Wut to give back the money. Following fightings and shootings with ruffians, Wut, Lak and Na defeat them. Lak ends up in jail as he still has to pay for his previous bad behavior. A four minutes trailer is also still available. It features sexy scenes cut off from VHS release.

This version was released by Taiwanese company New Ship Film Enterprise Co Ltd and lasts 1h26mn. The movie is in Mandarin language. The original movie has been cut to fit in standard TV format so making the story cutting to be awkward. Other versions released in Thailand last 1h30mn (Cable TV version) or 1h47mn (VHS version). This movie features many famous actors / actresses from decade 1970s~1980s. Young lad, called Paen (Sorapong Chatree), visits famous monk (หลวงพ่อ) in a local Buddhist temple to discuss about his problems. His mother and sister are treated as mistresses by local kingpin Mek. Mek (Somjin Thammatat) also tries to steal the family land. The monk gives to Paen an unique Buddhist amulet called ลำพูนดำ to protect him. Paen is arrested by four policemen led by Paen Pleumsachai. They bring him to a remote area to execute him per Mek’s orders but bullets don't enter (นั่งเนี่ยว) as he is protected by the sacred amulet given by the monk. Paen shoots them back. Policeman Nard Poowanai, as หมวด, is also trying to catch him. Kingpin Mek and subdistrict headman Chat (Krai Kanchit) (ลูกน้องมือขวา) are concerned that Paen succeeded to escape. Paen has many enemies (ศัตรูเยอะ). Two ladies Lom (Piathip Kumwong) and Phit (Thitima Sangkapitak), Paen’s mother and sister, are visiting the village leader. Both are the village leader's mistresses and Lom is also seduced by Chat (เป็นชู). Thai police is still looking after Paen. Paen takes refuge in a village but the village leader (Pumi Patanayut) warns the police. Paen succeeds to flee by having an hostage called Lamai (Mayura Thanabutr). Paen learns who are his enemies through Somsak Chaisongkram. Paen kills three ruffians (มือปืน). Ruffians kidnap young lady Lamai but Paen releases her and injures the village leader trying to abuse her. Young lady Booklee is kidnapped to become Mek’s new minor wife. Khun Mom Sasingha (Kowit Wattanakul) meets Chaba (Ampha Pusit), niece (หลานสาว) of Kamnan Chat. He presents himself as a customer of the underground casino (บ่อน). Pipop Pupinyo is looking for troubles with Sasingha but gets beaten. Chat is then jealous that Sasingha is too close to Chaba. Seua Rit (Suchao Pongwilai) is hired by the village leader to get rid of Paen. Mek’s daughter, Pumarin (Apiradee Pawaputanon), is coming back from overseas following successful studies. Her real father is Rit but he doesn’t want her daughter to know that her father is a thief so the truth was never disclosed to Pumarin. Paen behaves as a Robin Wood (โจร) by giving free goods to poor villagers. A pact is agreed between Paen, Khun Mom Sasingha and Klot (Rith Luecha). Klot wishes to get revenge on Mek as he killed all his family members and kidnapped his niece Booklee. Paen refuses to meet his sister Phit anymore. Both Chat and Lom are buried alive as Mek discovers they are having an affair. Meanwhile Rit kills pregnant Lamai and her mother as they refused to disclose where Paen is hidden. Phit is having an affair with Seua Rit. Per her strategy to protect her brother, Phit claims to Mek that she has been raped by Rit so that Rit cannot harm Paen anymore. Paen releases Pumarin aggressed by ruffians kidnapping her. Klot gains the trust of Mek in order to better spy him. Paen wishes to get revenge on Mek but police surrounds him. The Buddhist amulet saves Paen one more time. Phit protects Paen a last time by shooting Mek but this latter shoots her before dying. Paen listens to Pumarin and surrenders peacefully to the police. A sequel released in year 1988 was called ลำพูนแดง.

Khongra (Sorapong Chatree) is relative (หลาน) of Am Su Ra Krai (Toon Hiransap). Khongra is coming to Phailom district to visit Am. Am's team, such as Wo (Lak Apichat), needs to carry guns as the area is full of ruffians (นักเลงบ้านนอก) such as Thaem (Porjed Kaenpetch). Mr Putr is accused to have stolen (ปล้นรถไถ) Am's tractor. Local ruffians forbid farmers to cultivate the fields but as Khongra dares to bring a tractor, he has no choice but to shoot them. Later on, he helps a young lady Chairon harassed by three ruffians. Chairon is living alone as her parents died already. Thaem is defeated by Khongra on one to one fight. Friendship starts between Thaem and Khongra. Godfather (เจ้าพ่อ) Bamjong (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to recruit Khongra as he likes his style. Khongra discovers that the tractor was stolen by Mr Putr despite his disclaimer. Romance starts between Khongra and Chairon. All the illegal activities are handled by a local few godfathers including lady Sa (Aranya Namwong), Bamjong, Dam (Dam Datsakorn) and Reut (Rith Luecha). Chairon has been kidnapped and Khongra is ordered to leave the area within 24 hours. Meanwhile Khongra (เสียตัว) is also kidnapped by mysterious Amazons (Sopha played by Wiyada Umarin and Thitima Sangkapitak) but succeeds to escape. Gnoh (Kowit Wattanakul) is a policeman coming to arrest drug traffickers believed to be linked to local ruffians. Am, Khongra storm Putr's home to know where Chairon is. Before dying, Putr just says she is located at Beung Mai. While going to Beung Mai, they meet Sopha again. It is a trick to split Am, Wo and Khongra. In a fierce shooting, Wo is killed. Sa is suspected to have kidnapped Am. Khongra and Thaem are captured and imprisoned with Am. Chairon provides a hidden message but her behavior is noticed by the guard (ทรยศ). Chairon and Sopha are sentenced to death by Sa. Hopefully Khongra, who succeeds to escape, helps them on time. A festival for farmers is happening in Phailom district. Khongra is aware of the ruffians’ plan to intimidate farmers in order to finally possess the whole land in the area. Explosions happen during the festivities. Following various shootings and car chasing, all ruffians are killed or captured by Khongra, Am and police led by Gnoh. This Thai movie จ้าวนรก, directed by Payoong Payakul, is a typical 1980s action movie involving many key leading actors from decades 1970s-1980s.

It is Nam (Sombat Methanee). A truck carrying weapons is stopped by Thai Police thanks to Nam. Nam warns Bancha but a fighting erupts with his tough guys. Nam gets help from a mysterious masked vigilante woman, wearing red clothes. Nam meets Nissa (Wassana Sitthiweth), daughter of the police head. Yot (Lak Apichat) helps Pat (Piathip Kumwong) kidnapped by ruffians. Ruffians kidnap Sia / เสี่ย Boo Wibunnan’s child and shoot him in the shoulder. Hopefully red and black masked vigilantes follow the car but get attacked by yellow masked men (องค์การสีเลือง). Two ladies Pat and Nissa (นกสองตัว) are captured by Bancha's team, who are preparing to betray Thailand. Yodchai Meksuwan and Darlin (Duangcheewan Komolsen), from Malaysia, are police members. Bancha threatens the police head to kill his daughter Nissa if their business is disrupted again. Nam simulates joining the yellow gang in order to be able to release the ladies. Nam cannot reach agreement so a one to one (ต่อสู้แบบลูกผู้ชาย) fight must happen. Police finally arrives. Pat sacrifices her life to save Nam. Lak helps to release Darlin, who is identified to be the mysterious red masked vigilante woman. All ruffians are captured or killed. The identity of the gang leader (ลืมชาติ) is then known... This Thai movie was also released in Sweden by company HB Video-film. พ่อเลี้ยง Hin (Chat Mongkolchai) meets Wattana (Dam Datsakorn) for illegal business. Sakda / Sing (Sorapong Chatree), named as สิงห์หนุ่ม, a policeman, always causes them problems. He stops their drug traffic at the border. Hin decides to attack Sing through his family. His wife is raped and killed. Sing takes revenge but Hin succeeds to flee. Sing sympathized with Pipop Pupinyo and this latter helps him to be recruited by Srisuda (Duangcheewan Komolsen). Srisuda likes Sing a lot. Boo Wibunnan, Hin and Wattana build a traffic together. Policeman Tawan (Somphob Benjatikul) stops their boats trafficking in Thai waters. Srisuda is upset but she is not willing to sell her boats to Boo. Hin's ruffians are jealous to see singer Salika (Supansa Nuengpirom) talking to Tawan so a fight occurs. As Tawan is outnumbered, he gets some help from Sing and his friends. Somphob needs help from Sing and his ruffians to neutralize the ruffians. They all agree. Meanwhile ruffians plan to use the singer Salika to pressure policeman Tawan. Srisuda accepts to take care of Sing's daughter but asks Sing to move in her house... Last ruffians' operation fails again. Pipop is suspected to be a traitor and is killed. Ruffians shoot Srisuda and kidnap Sing's child. During the chase and the shootings, the child is killed. Ruffians then kidnap the singer Salika. Police storms the place but Watttana flees by boat with Salika. Sing follows and releases her.

Uncle (พ่อลุง) Jaeng (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) names the kid as Thunder (เจ้าพายุ), as he is born during a storm, but his nickname is Yu. When Yu was 3 years old, Piathip left home as Palat was having a new wife called Duangcheewan. Being adults, Eum (Thitima Sangkapitak) and Yu (Sorapong Chatree) love each other since childhood. Eum's parents promise her to another man called To (Dam Datsakorn). Palat, Somsak Chaisongkram and To try everything to break this relationship. Eum and Yu flee but are chased by Palat and ruffians led by To. Yu accepts to surrender and is sent to prison. Manop Aussawathep, father of Yu, learns that Palat has been nominated as chief district. He still has a debt to pay with Palat. While Palat is resting with his family, he does attack them. Palat’s new wife (Duangcheewan Komolsen) is shot dead. Pho Seua (Choomporn Theppitak) in prison teaches Yu to master resistance and strength. Yu becomes friend with Pha (Lak Apichat) in prison. Eum, knowing that Yu's father killed Duangcheewan, cannot marry Yu anymore and accepts to marry To. Yu is devastated to learn this news. After a while, Yu is released from jail. Pha is waiting for him. Yu helps Sia Wiwat (Somchai Samipak) and his daughter Chan (Supansa Nuengpirom) Chan having issues with ruffians. He has conflicts with Chat Mongkolchai, head of workers (ป่าไม้). Meanwhile To sends some men (Somsak Chaisongkram and Pipop Pupinyo) to get rid of Yu. Siripong Isarangkul is playing the big boss. They push Manop to force his own son Pha to get rid of Yu. Pha and Yu are in fact brothers. As Pha refuses to kill Yu, To sends Paen Pleumsachai to kill him but it fails as Pha is only injured. Pha gets revenge by shooting Siripong Isarangkul. To's hidden plan is to get rid of Sia Sawat, Yu and to get the sawmill for himself and to get Chan as wife for Chat. Chat uses heavy machine to drop tree logs on the office, where Sia Wiwat and uncle Jaeng are working. Uncle Jaeng dies. Yu has to take revenge on Chat and To. Yu chases To until he can kill him. Final fighting does occur between Manop, Palat and Yu. Manop catches Yu and threatens to kill him if Palat doesn’t surrender. Yu is Palat’s real son! Piathip already lost one son so she cannot accept this and shoots Manop.

Thai movie ชาติผยอง was released in year 1978 and lasts 1h45mn. It is directed by Ruj Ronnapop. Plaew Suriyong (Sombat Methanee) is back to Thailand after many years in Chicago. His father has been killed. He is immediately kidnapped by ruffians led by Sahat Piempongsan and including Somsak Chaisongkram / Paen Pleumsachai. He has to kill Sarayut (Sor Asanajinda), a popular politician, against a reward of 1M baht and one airplane ticket to go anywhere. Sarayut's wife was fed up with the risks linked to politics so she left him 10 years ago to go to Italy with their young son. Plaew has to be a hitman (มือปืน). Sahat lies to Plaew in order to have Sarayut killed. As Plaew's father was a politician, he would be the right scapegoat. A lady called Romanat (Duangcheewan Komolsen) helps Plaew to prepare the shooting and gets in love with him. Plaew has one week to do the job. The killing shall happen during a speech. He meets Manop Aussawathep to learn more his father's death. Plaew still wanders who has killed his father, who was also a politician. People, who wish to hurt Thailand, killed his father. They now chase him also. Politics in Thailand is full of bad influence (อิทธิพล), corruption and murders through hitmen. Romanat warns him that people try to kill him. Romanat wishes to flee with Plaew and mentions that she knows Sahat will shot Plaew once the job is done. During the political gathering, Plaew doesn't shoot Sarayut but his opponent. This causes Sahat's ire and Plaew needs to flee to Malaysia. Plaew meets Lucky Jack (Jatuphol Poopirom) in Malaysia but they have to flee to Rome, Italy due to problems with police. Lucky Jack is in fact Sarayut's son! In Rome, Plaew seduces Maria that Lucky Jack also loves. As Sahat threatens to kill Romanat, Plaew has seven days to come back to Thailand. Maria loves Plaew but gets killed during a gunfight. Lucky Jack doesn't forgive Plaew. Plaew and Lucky Jack go back to Bangkok to catch Sahat. Sahat sends Romanat as a gift to lucky Jack acting as a local ruffian. Finally both Plaew and Lucky Jack love again the same woman, i.e. Romanat. Plaew learns that Sarayut is behind his father's death. Misunderstandings happen between Jack and Plaew as ruffians push Jack against Plaew. Meanwhile Sarayut, as smart and evil politician, plays also the two men against each other. Sarayut, as nasty politician, is wishing to send Plaew to trial in order not to be accused of any collusion of the previous shooting done by Plaew. He pushes his own son to shoot Plaew. Finally Plaew shots Sarayut but gets shot by Lucky Jack. This is a typical action movie from the 1970s highlighting the bad sides of the Thai politics.

Thai movie ดวล (The last duel) was released in year 1977. It lasts 1h31mn. It seems that the movie was never released on VCD or DVD but only shown on Thai TV channel 11. The soundtrack is unfortunately very bad and barely audible. It features a bunch of actors always playing ruffians such as Kecha Plianvithee, Chanee Yotchai, Paen Pleumsachai and Pipop Pupinyo. Ek Amarin (เอก อัมรินทร์) is the main actor. Kecha and Surasit Sattayawong are friends with an overseas ruffian. They kill a couple to steal money and also take their daughter. Their teenage son promises to get revenge. 20 years have passed. Kecha's birthday is happening. Narin from France is present. Ek spoils the party and promises to get revenge against the ruffians one by one. He finally gets stopped by Narin (ไม่น่าเป็นโจร). Ek reverses the situation and brings Narin in a cave as a prisoner. He finds that Narin has a necklace and a birth tattoo on her back showing that she is his lost sister separated from him when their parents were killed by ruffians. Ek gets rid of Chanee and Surasit through duels. He also kills Pipop in one to one duel. One of the overseas ruffians leaders is chased by speed boat, then by car but Ek gets defeated. Ek is tortured, attached to a pole and left for dead. He is finally released by Narin. Ek is then chased by a motorcycle, a helicopter and then a F1 car but still survives! Finally Ek shots also Kecha. The movie moves to Spain into a with a five minutes corrida sequence that looks like more a documentary. He also shots the last ruffian, who was a Spanish citizen. Revenge cycle is over. This movie got limited success despite bringing some foreign stars. Ek Amarin is also less famous than other Thai cinema stars of the 1970s decade.

Thai movie เสือ 4 แคว was released in year 1976. It lasts 2h20mn. Pleung (Krung Srivilai) and Chat (Sombat Methanee) are always fighting in a prison. The head of prison decide to transfer them to another prison. To avoid any issues during the transfer, they are hogtied together. During transfer, Pleung's teammates attack the police armed escort. Pleung and Chat flee together. Choomporn Theppitak is playing a policeman. They do realize that they have a common enemy called พ่อเลี้ยง Do Tawan (Kecha Plianvithee). Do Tawan is aware that Pleung is now free. Choi (อัมรัตน์ ขัตติยา) is Do Tawan's girlfriend. Four devils [เสือ4แคว] (Pipop Pupinyo – Seua Wang, Dam Datsakorn - Seua Nan, Seua Ping - Chana Sriubon, Seua Yom – โดม สิงห์โมฬี) are called by Do Tawan to kill Pleung. 1M Baht reward is promised for the one who succeeds to kill Pleung. น้อง Kaew (Rewadee Pattaphong), a teacher, is Do Tawan's younger sister. She knows the secret behind her brother. Do Tawan (โจรใจบาป) is selling drugs. Pleung, a former teammate, asked him to stop but ended up in jail because of Do Tawan. Pleung's younger sister Wallin (Naiyana Shewanan) is still kept captive by Do Tawan (ตัวประกัน). A bomb is hidden in her bungalow. Kaew prevents her brother from abusing Wallin. ภูมิ พัฒนายุทธ, Kan (Kom Akadej), Wai (Lak Apichat), Suki (Sayan Chantaraviboon) meet Chat in the restaurant (เอาเต็มที่). He claims to be เสือ4แคว. They sympathize with Chat, who sends them to help Pleung against the 4 devils. Meanwhile, Chat plans to enter Do Tawan group in order to spy them and release Wallin. Pleung, being attacked by Seua, decides to fight back and attack them directly also causing Dam to flee. Do Tawan hires Chat. Seua Ping’s team includes veteran actors Pan Borapet, กฤษณะ อำนวยพร and Paen Pleumsachai. Chat pushes the teams against each other. Chat succeeds to exchange Wallin with Kaew simulating a kidnapping. Meanwhile Choi helps to provide information on Do Tawan's business. Chat is identified as the traitor. Chat shall be smashed by a train but Pleung helps him on time. Knowing that Chat is not dead, Do Tawan moves his stock of drugs in a safer place. Pleung identifies the place and decides to attack it. Chat, being finally a policeman, also comes with reinforcement. All ruffians are killed by the Thai A-team. Unable to flee, Do Tawan prefers to explode the warehouse to avoid surrendering. Pleung has to go back to jail but Chat promises that his efforts to catch Do Tawan will be taken into account to reduce the severity. This movie features a huge number of famous Thai actors and actresses.

Thai movie ‎สามเหลี่ยมทองคำ was released in year 1975. The movie is lost in Thailand but can still be found in Hong Kong through a VHS tape lasting 1h25mn. It is named 金三角 or The Golden Triangle. This movie is filmed in Hong Kong and Thailand. Manop Aussawathep is playing the head of Thai narcotics police. He receives a telegram that a drug trafficker called Peter Wong (Lo Lieh) has come from Hong kong. Pon (Tanyarat Lohanan) is playing a bar waitress. Boo Wibunnan is the barman. Peter, renamed as Tony, helps Pon harassed by drunk foreigners looking for good time. Pon introduces him to her brother, who brings him to a safer place, i.e. the Burmese border. Tony is under an arrest warrant. Meanwhile Sombat Methanee also arrives in the Golden Triangle area. Lao Su (Sawin Sawangrat) gets cheated by loaded dices. A fighting erupts and Sombat gives a hand to him. Lao Su belongs to a hill tribe gang. Sombat is fleeing Bangkok being researched by police. The leader is a woman called Hangson Wu (Tanny Tien Ni). Sombat is accepted in the hill tribe. Tony is also accepted in another gang and finds they have a secret drug making laboratory. Opium puppies were a popular production during decade 1970s. Hill tribes were later convinced to move to other cultures. A caravan led by Lao Su and Sombat with 200 horses, 8 tons of opium shall travel 20 days to deliver their goods. The other gang including Paen Pleumsachai attacks the caravan. Lao Su is killed but thanks to Sombat, ruffians are pushed back. Military spots the caravan also. Sombat meets the leader of the buyer group called Lo Han. Once they get the opium, a jeep with machine gun shots many of the hill tribe members. The police intervenes but the ruffians flee with opium and gold. Hangson Wu wishes to revenge. As opium shall be transformed into heroin, Sombat and Hangson Wu are looking for the exchange point. They fall in a trap but are saved by the police again. Hangson Wu realises that Sombat is a cop. Pon is injured. In the hospital Pon tells where the exchange point is. Tony, a Hong Kong policeman, tries to double everybody. Hangson Wu finally dies. Sombat launches his car on Lo Han's speed boat trying to flee. The drugs gangs are destroyed but the final victory is far away as opium is still produced.

Thai HK co production movie เสือหยิ่งสิงห์ผยอง / Spirits of Bruce Lee / 猛蛟閗地蛇龍女 lasts 1h34mn. Such HK movies normally last around 1h30mn (TV format) but the Thai version was often more than 2 hours. This movie is lost in Thailand but as it was a Thai HK co production, it could still be found overseas under VHS format. A Chinese jewel trader is betrayed and killed in Mae Sai area. Later on Yu (Phairoj Jaising known in Chinese as Poon Lok!) is facing local bunch of thugs. Chan (Michael Chan Wai-Man) helps Yu. Chan is looking for his lost brother involved in jade trade. Old rural life scene such as a cart with buffaloes can still be seen. Having learnt that his brother disappeared, Chan looks for him all around the small city of Mae Sai. He meets Mr Wang, owning a tea shop. Paen Pleumsachai is supporting Yu. Chan knows that his brother is now dead so he enquiries on the murderers. Choi Nan, daughter of Mr Wang, supports and helps Chan. They find Sompon, who is wearing the brother's watch. He bought it from Taimoo, who is linked to local powerful kingpin called Min Pan Tim. In his team Man Teeraphol and Choomporn Theppitak can be found. Chan kills Choomporn believing he is Min Pan Tim. Min Pan Tim injures him in the leg but Chan succeeds to flee thanks to Yu. Chan recovers thanks to Choi Nan. Ruffians burn their house but fail to find them. Knowing that Min Pan Tim has given a day off to most of his ruffians, the four friends storm his house. During the fightings, Mr Wang is killed but Min Pan Tim is defeated also. Surrounded by ruffians, Yu, head of police, helps Chan and Choi Nan on time.

This is the first movie featuring Phairoj Jaising and Aranya Namwong together. Director is วิจารณ์ ภักดีวิจิตร. Often in 1960 or 1970s Thai movies, music from Italian spaghetti westerns (Ennio Morricone) or James Bond movies was used. Korakot (Phairoj Jaising) arrives in Udon Thani. The introduction sequence even shows old theater โรงหนังเฉลิมวัฒนา. Korakot is back to his village through a bus from Udon Thani. He gets robbed by two ruffians (นักเลงเจ้าถิ่น) including Yuan (Choomporn Theppitak). They steal a jewellery belonging to his mother. Krit (Chat Mongkolchai) rescues him. Some relief characters are played by Songthong and Sisala Thongtara (ศรีสละ ทองธารา). Krit's sister is played by “bad girl” Donnapha Sophee. Knowing his friend's problems, krit chases after the ruffians. Two are killed but Yuan succeeds to flee. Korakot is not able to hold a weapon or fight back (ใจต้องสู้). Khun Phiset is upset with Krit as two of his men were killed. Korakot shall go to Khun Phiset's home to get back his jewellery. On the way, he meets Plienjai, Khun Phiset's daughter (Aranya Namwong), expert in shooting with Daojai (Darunee Cheunsakul). Yuan claims he doesn't have it. Plienjai likes Korakot. Daojai and Krit (สุภาพบุรุษนักสู้) love each other. Yuan loves Plienjai also but it is not reciprocal so he tries to force her. Khun Phiset chases him away. Korakot gets a training from Krit (คนสู้คน). Yuan forges an alliance with another ruffian leader called Seua Sing (Paen Pleumsachai) to get revenge and plans to kidnap Plienjai. As they get pushed back by Krit and Korakot, Seua Sing prepares more men to join. Enticed to get back his mother's jewellery, Korakot is tortured by Sing and Yuan by being attached to a cross and forced to walk under harsh sun. Meanwhile Songthong is killed through an embuscade. Krit helps Korakot before a full dehydration. Korakot’s mother is played by Marasri Bangchang. A double wedding happens, i.e. Korakot with Plienjai and Krit with Daojai. Yuan, Sing and their ruffians bring troubles to the party by kidnapping the ladies including Krit's sister. Korakot and Krit chase after the ruffians. Seua Sing rapes Krit’s sister. As a bait, Korakot defies Yuan and defeats him while Krit releases the ladies. Through a final shooting, Seua Sing is shot by Krit's sister but she also dies. Newly-wed couples can now find happiness with the ruffians being neutralised.

The man from Deep River is an Italian movie shot in Thailand. A young man called Bradley comes to Thailand and visits famous places in Bangkok such as river canals (คลอง), market, Wat Po, Wat Indrawihan. He is interested by primitive tribes living along Thai Burma borders with no contact with outside world. Following arguments during a Thai boxing match, Bradley stabs a Thai man and has to flee. He takes refuge in a village near the River Kwai in western Thailand. He arrives in the village with diving equipment. He is doing everyday trips on the river and taking photographs. One day after having a nap, Bradley wakes up to find his assistant Chan killed. Bradley is then captured by an unknown tribe. This violent tribe is cutting prisoners’ tongue. Maria is the beautiful daughter of the local village headman. Bradley is seen as strange white fish by the villagers (เป็นมนุษย์). They use him to catch fishes and turtles as he knows how to swim. Maria likes him a lot and this causes jealousy from other tribe members who prepare some poisoned arrows. He tries to escape but to no avail. Bradley kills his major opponent in a fierce duel. Animal atrocities, such as fight between mongoose and snake, monkey decapitated and his brain eaten raw, snake cut in half, crocodile killed alive, goat throat slipped, are performed. Bradley is finally accepted as full villager member. He gets a new enemy as he cures a young child that the local shaman couldn't save (ผีเข้า). He finally marries Maria. Some strangers to the village kill one villager and perform cannibal acts. Maria and Bradley escape at nighttime thanks to the grandma They are captured again by the shaman. The grandma is severely punished. Maria pregnancy is painful. As the village is attacked by outsiders they all have to flee. Maria delivers a baby in the jungle but dies just after. Bradley finally stays to reconstruct the village despite having opportunity to leave. The movie is in Italian dubbing but the tribe is speaking Thai in the movie. Maria is not a Thai woman as her Thai pronouncing is not accurate. She is famous Burmese English actress Me Me Lay from decade 1970s. A few known Thai actors are performing such as Sulallewan Suxantat and Pipop Pupinyo. This movie is the first opus of other cannibal movies in 1970s-1980s. This movie is first entry in Italian Cannibal horror film.

Thai movie ยอดแก่น was released in year 1968. Thai movie ยอดแก่น, directed by Neramit, lasts 1h57mn and still has colorful picture. Parts of the movie are missing. While being threatened by robbers, Khun Chak (Mitr Chaibancha) meets Raem (Petchara Chaowarat), a naughty young lady (เด็กเวร). Oon (Prim Praphaporn) is already engaged with Chak. Bancha is a bad man and Oon's aunt warns her as he is used to put drugs in drinks to abuse girls. Raem often comes to talk to Chak. Raem even gives his purse back to Chak mentioning that robbers lost it while fleeing. Raem has no mother and her father never took care of her. Chak believes Raem is a young man or a “kathoey” (กะเทย) as Raem has short hairs. In fact, Raem's father called Seua is the head of the robbers but he is not her real blood father. Finally Chak pays the father to adopt Raem (น้องบุญธรรม). Raem comes to Bangkok and helps first in domestic tasks. Arguments occur with Oon (อีเด็กบ้า). Chak asks her to stay calm (ต้องอดทน) as Oon has bad character and Raem can be bad mouth. Nit (Metta Roongrat) is engaged with Tanin (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), who is a policeman. Chak asks Tanin's help to clarify if Raem is a boy or a girl. They decide to use Nit for this task. Boramet (เด็กเกเร) is Nit's younger brother. He always spending a lot of money in gambling. He is also Oon's lover and their plan is to steal money as much as they can from Chak. Nit identifies that Raem (เด็กกะโปโล) is a girl. Oon, aware, accuses Raem to try to steal her fiance. She announces to break the engagement. Raem decides to flee the house to avoid causing trouble to Chak. Meanwhile Boramet has arguments while playing cards in an underground place and kills a man. The owner asks for 30 000 baht to keep silent. Oon, hoping to marry Boramet, is pushed away by him as he needs to find the 30 000 baht as soon as possible. Chak keeps looking for Raem. Unable to find Raem, Chak asks Raem's father, Seua. They decide to search together in Bangkok. Boramet steals his own father’s money. Seua happens to be there at the same time. Fighting happens and Seua shoots Boramet. Buddhist Karma cannot be escaped as Boramet is in fact Seua’s real son. Raem's real father is Khun Tiwa. Many years ago, Seua exchanges Boramet and Raem to revenge over Khun Tiwa. Bad deed causes bad act. Raem is reunited with her father Khun Tiwa and her sister Nit. Chak marries Raem.

Seven convicts (ผู้ต้องหา) are inside a van. Their van has a crash so they can successfully escape. They have all different characters, i. e. Dam Prasakorn (ดามพ์ ดัสกร) a car robber, Tong Bai (ทองใบ) a former traditional folk singer (พระเอกลิเก), Han Meuang Tong (หาญ เมืองทอง), Ai Meut (มืด ธรณี), Khom (คม) a tireless card player, Boonmee (บุญมี) a gunman (มือปืน), Phayak (พยัคฆ์). Police is chasing them so some of them are stealing motorbike, car or horse to flee away. Han Meuang Tong, son of a village headman (กำนันเหิน), is having issues with local mafia leader Saen (พ่อเลี้ยงแสน). Saen accuses Han Meuang to have killed his younger brother ten years ago. He wishes to take revenge and sends ruffians to kill him in his hotel. Paeng - 1960 cliche of small virtue lady featured with a cigarette - is supposed to seduce Han Meuang while Pol shall shoot him. It fails and Pol is captured by police thanks to Han Meuang and Thong Bai. Han Meuang's father is unhappy with his son (เสือร้าย) and wishes to kill him as he is now a convict (โจร). Soi (สร้อย), daughter of Saen, helps to hide Khom in her room and asks her father to recruit him. Sia (เสี่ยมังกร), another local mafia leader involved in illegal sawmills, wishes Han Meuang to join him but Saen's ruffians injure Han Meuang following a trap. Saen’s ruffians terrorize the villagers to find where Han Meuang is hiding. His sister is even kidnapped. Han Meuang needs to fight back (สู้). A mysterious masked leader (นายอนันต์) reunited the seven fugitives (7 พระกาฬ) together and also all Saen / Sia ruffians. He needs them for a secret mission. They need to get a cargo of weapons to be sold illegally. But police is aware and tries to catch them. There is a police spy within the seven guys (มีหนอนบนไส้). A police inspector is captured to find who the spy is. It is Dam Prasakorn (กรมสืบราชการ). The police inspector (สารวัตร) finally succeeds to flee and it is discovered that three of the former fugitives are working for the police. Han Meuang, wishing to help Thailand, helps to release them. Traitors to Thailand (ทรยศขายชาติ) shall be stopped. Many fights and shootings are happening between the four men and the traitors. Police intervenes also. Ruffians are all killed and their leader's helicopter is shot down by Han Meuang. Finally Han Meuang is an undercover soldier (กองทัพ) so he reconciles with his father. There is moralist ending as Tong Bai also surrenders to police and gives back the money left in a suitcase by the ruffians. This movie includes a mix of action and comedy. it features a beautifully restored colorful picture and lasts 2h21mn. It reminds of 1954 “Seven Samurai” Japanese movie or 1960 “The Magnificent Seven” American movie. Another Thai movie named “7 พระกาฬ” was released in 1983.
