Thai horror movie น้ำมันพราย (Spell) was released in 3D version in year 2014. A monk is coming from Cambodia bringing real oil corpse. A young lady called Phrae (Wanida Termthanaporn) is working in an office. The boss always tries to seduce her. Phrae's mother is at hospital and is paralysed. The uncle (Kowit Wattanakul) would like to sell the house but Phrae is not willing. A coworker called Lek is fond of Phrae but she treats him as a friend only. Somebody suggests him to try oil corpse (น้ำมันพราย) to attract Phrae. Lek tries it on Phrae but it ends up tragically as Phrae becomes a fearful spirit (พี่หลอก) without being aware. Lek dies and his body disappears. Police enquiries and is wary about Phrae as she is the last to have seen Lek. The boss lies about Phrae hoping to get favour (บุญคุณ) from her. He brings her to a restaurant and drugs her. The boss tries to rape her but Phrae becomes a fearful spirit again causing the boss to flee. Meanwhile her stepfather tries to sell the house and is having affair with a younger girl. Surprising her stepfather, he finally expels her. Phrae meets again a former friend Thana that she loved when being a student many years ago. Love happens again. The boss finally gets suicide in the police station. The Cambodian monk being in jail at the same time explains to the police inspector the origin of the corpse oil. The policeman informs Phrae that she is probably possessed (โดนของ). Lost, Phrae finally finds Thana in bed with another woman. Upset, the spirit causes Thana to die also. Phrae finally flees away asking the policeman to focus on more important cases than flirtatious men (ผู้ชายเจ้าชู้).

Thai movie เร็วทะลุเร็ว / Vengeance Of An Assassin was released in year 2014. It is the last movie directed by Panna Rittikrai before his death. This movie lasts 1h30mn. A young boy called Phiti wishes to know what happened to his parents, who died earlier. The uncle has been raising the two children but refuses to disclose anything as it can only bring troubles to them. The uncle keeps indulging in beers to forget. He holds a key to a secret cabinet. It includes secret documents and VHS tapes featuring military trainings. Dam Datsakorn, now a monk, was former colleague of the father. Phiti wishing to know the truth leaves the uncle's home and goes to find Dam. Than, his younger brother stays with the uncle. Phiti meets also Athong, former friend of his father and now understands the truth. He gets revenge one by one through some impressive killings (in a restaurant with shootings happening at waist level, in a golf course...). The ruffians’ leader is traitor Kowit Wattanakul, who was also one of the father’s former friends. The boy helps a young lady wearing blond wig, in traditional costume (นางรำ) and chased by a killer. The girl was used as bait. Her teacher (ครู) is killed. Dam is also killed. The boy succeeds to defeat the ruffians but is severely injured. A doctor (หมอจีน) helps them and they take refuge in the uncle's house. Ruffians follow them there. The young lady is kidnapped and fightings happen on a moving train. Through daring final fightings, ruffians are defeated.

P Uzi (Thep Po-ngam) is released from prison and injured by a blade expert (มือมีด). Dao (Ploy Jindachot) visits her dying mother Deuan (Wiyada Umarin) at the hospital. She announces to her daughter that her father is a hitman (มือปืน) just released from prison. Deuan accepted to be a hitman's wife but didn't want her daughter to be a hitman's daughter. While recovering at the hospital, P Uzi receives also a letter from the mother announcing his real paternity. Dao's stepfather (Kowit Wattanakul) tries to rape her sister Phet. P Uzi, trying to contact Dao, helps to prevent the rape by hitting strongly the stepfather but finally gets accused of the murder. Dao is a policewoman and wishes to revenge her stepfather. P Uzi's house in Chantaburi is occupied by a small man wearing same clothes as "Kill Bill" movie and acting very weirdly so he has to retreat. Ong (Choomporn Theppitak) is P Uzi's former boss. While withdrawing money from ATM machine, P Uzi is threatened by 5 gangsters with deformed face reminding of famous actor Songthong and promoting a politician who believes he can buy all Thai people (ซองเงิน) to be elected and then gets back his money through overpriced commissions during public tenders. Hitman myth is demystified in Yuthlert Sippapak’s movies. P Uzi has even vision problems. Dao arrives in Chantaburi to look for P Uzi but finally arrests the blade expert and crazy "Kill Bill". P Uzi is recruited to get rid of one corrupted politician's helper. Meng, a corrupted politician, is looking for P Uzi’s head. Reusi does an eye chirurgical operation but the doctor, friend of Meng, makes it a failure on purpose. P Uzi wishes to kill Meng. Ed Carabao is even having a small cameo role. Meng is still not dead so P Uzi continues to chase him as Meng's men have butchered his old friend Ong. Dao chases P Uzi and shoots him while he was trying to get something from his jacket. It was not a gun but a letter. At the last minute, he finally replaces the touching letter with full explanations by a laconic letter asking for funerals. Sometimes it is better not disclose the truth. Movie "Friday Killer" (2011 ~ 3M baht revenue) is part of a trilogy including "Sunday Killer" and "Saturday Killer" (2010 ~ 15M baht revenue). "Sunday Killer" was not released in 2012. Maybe due to bad revenue results of "Friday Killer"? As usual there is a great soundtrack. This Yuthlert Sippapak movie mixes action, social messages and great humor. This movie has won the best cinematography and jury awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival.

Panya (ปัญญา), young boy, and Raenu (เรณู), young girl, are school children in an Isan village. While studying, they have issues with another student who is cheating during exams. Raenu is protecting Panya against this student! It looks like Panya and Raenu will marry together when they will be adults. This movie nicely depicts Isan village life (วัฒนธรรมอีสาน). Panya steals fish in a neighbour rice field but gets punished by catching a disagreeable worm. The teachers are preparing school performances with molam music. Panya is the school molam singer. But they are not doing well due to lack of dancers and equipment. Panya secretly promises to ordain if his school wins. The bus of a Bangkokian school is damaged near the village. They have to stay overnight in the village school. Bangkok girls (เด็กกรุงเทพฯ) have difficulties to get used to Isan food. There is a contrast between Isan boys with dark skin versus Bangkok girls with white skin. They discover Isan village life (วีถีชีวิตของชาวอีสาน) and help on some tasks such as planting rice, bugs, snakes and lizards catching. As a puppy love starts between Panya and a Bangkok girl called Miu, Raenu is very upset with Panya (คนหลายใจ). Five husbands die the same night in the village. A Shaman (แม่หมอ) is called to understand what is going on. The shaman claims a ghost is around (ผีแม่ม่าย) so all men have to wear women clothes a few days in order to fool the ghost. Raenu claims to be possessed also in order to ask Panya to love Raenu only. Ghost belief is still strongly present in Isan. The school needs to find 100 000 baht to buy music instrument to be able to join the village Molam competition. Panya dreams to be a singer. Even the Buddhist abbot doesn't have such amount of money. Hopefully a layman donates 300 000 baht to the temple so the abbot can help the school. Monks are very close to the community. The village can then participate to the contest. Miu helps to bring a Bangkok teacher to help the students to dance properly. Panya's Bangkok friends even promise to join. There is then great molam performances with dozens of dancers and very entertaining songs at the contest (วงมอลำ). Thanks to late arrival of the Bangkok friends on a tractor, Panya's team wins. Even the member of Parliament (ส.ส.) dances! After the victory, some robbers enter in his parents' home. Panya gets shot and ends up at the hospital. Panya is finally saved as he is ordained by the abbot at the last minute. The power of faith in Buddha saves him as he could fulfil his earlier promise. This movie got 13M bath revenue in 2011. A version 2 (ภาค2) was released in 2012. Lao / Isan language is used with Thai subtitles. This movie reminds of “Mon rak luk thung” (มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง) and “Luuk Isan” (ลูกอีสาน). This movie is a great homage to Isan region and features a few famous Isan actors such as comic Mum Jokmok.

Tan (แทน) is in coma state in hospital. He was severely beaten. He needed money to pay the caution for his brother Tai (ไท) to be released from prison. They are twin brothers. Pang, Tan's girlfriend, is still waiting for his hypothetical wake up. Tai is a former player of fireball basketball, which is a mix of basketball and Thai boxing. Tai wants to understand who did injure his brother. He is recruited by a boss building a new team made of Zing, Iq, Muk. A few famous veteran actors are present in this movie, i.e. Suchao Pongwilai, Kowit Wattanakul. Den is the team boss. Misunderstanding happens inside the team as it is a more of collage of individuality. Tai finds the man who crushed his brother. But revenge can only happen during an official match to avoid team disqualification. Pang will not drop Tan as he helped her a lot to pay for her studies. Matches are very violent and competition is harsh to reach the final. Iq dies during the second match. Muck tries to throw the third match away for money. He is beaten to death by the mob. Due to Pang's debts to cure his brother, Tan is forced to accept a money deal to lose the final. Tai's condition is getting critical and a lot of money is needed to pay for an operation. Pang is worried Tai will end up like Tan. During a thrilling final, Tai's team wins and the man who injured Tan is defeated. But only Zing survives during the final game. Tan wakes up at the moment Tai dies. This recent Thai action movies surfs on the Thai Muay action movies wave. The movie made 8M Baht in year 2009 and well below its 35M Baht budget.

Yot has been trained many years as a white monkey warrior by his master. A rival master is willing to take back some segments of a sacred book to seek absolute power. A mafia guy called Stephen and the rival master command a group of bad guys including three warriors having skills and tatoos related to crocodile, tiger and Jaguar. Those dark side warriors killed Yot's master, Yot's girlfriend and had her sister be paralysed. Yot then finds a shelter inside an up-country school teaching traditional Thai boxing for boys and traditional dance for girls. Once the three bad warriors have killed almost everybody in the school and take away the paralyzed little girl, Yot goes on rampage to fight them and get back the young girl. This movie tries to include recipes that were successful for Ong Bak 1. It includes Thainess through Thai boxing, Thai traditional dance, respect to teacher, sacred tatooes... But the main actor is not as skilled as Tony Jaa. Foreigner are really the bad guys destroying sacred altars and having no respect for teachers and ancestors. 50 years ago mothers mentioned the Chinese Zee Oui (ซีอุย) as a monster to frighten their children, now they can use the bad foreigners!

Thai movie ผีเลี้ยงลูกคน / Ghost mother was released in year 2007. Nunta is a young woman who look after two nieces and one nephew while her brother Chai, the father of those kids is working abroad for a drug dealer. Chai is murdered and Nunta is introduced to detective Sumet who helps her. Nunta is also murdered by the drug dealers as they believe she knows secrets shared by her brother. But her spirit is worrying about the kids, so she comes back home as a ghost... She still prepares the dough for the pastries. The elder sister has to take care the younger kids (พี่สาวคือแม่ที่สอง). The drug dealers are still after her family and Nunta will do anything to protect them. No one knows she is dead. Nunta take revenge over the people who killed her. Nab is driving a herd of buffalo in Isan, Northeast of Thailand, but they are attacked by thieves led by ruffian Koon. Meanwhile while at home, his wife, Chan, is raped and killed. Her baby Nuan (นวล) is left behind. Chan's soul stays in the spirit house close to the river. Many years have passed. A young man called Sak (ศักดิ์), nephew of the local sergeant, is visiting the village and gets injured while helping Nuan attacked by ruffians. Khem, Koon's son, wishes to have Nuan becoming his wife. Village headman (ผู้ใหญ่ขุน) Koon has transformed the village into a thieves Eden. Sak is in fact an undercover policeman investigating on Koon. The area Wang Nang Phrai is a haunted shrine according to villagers and local people avoid it as a scary fiddle sound can always be heard there. A temple fair is happening in the village with boat race, dance (รำวง) and folk theater (likay). Saipin is the daughter of the sergeant and also Nuan’s close friend. She is fond of Sak. Khem is unsatisfied with Sak's presence. Ruffians try to kidnap Nuan again but they are chased away by the ghost of Chan. Koon decides to contact shaman (หมอผี) Kaew. They capture Chan and put it in an urn sealed with a sacred cloth. As Nuan is desperate following her mother disappearance, Sak consoles her and a romance starts between them. Saipin (สายพิณ) tries to get back Sak but to no avail. Saipin learns that Nuan is pregnant with Sak. Disappointed she arranges a plan with Khem so that he can kidnap her again. Refusing to become Khem’s wife, Nuan prefers to throw herself in the river and gets drown. Being pregnant, she becomes a powerful spirit (ผีตายโหง). The shaman tries to neutralize Nuan also. It is black magic versus white magic. Nuan spares Saipin’s life as they were friends before. Finally Saipin tells the truth to her father and to Nab. She has become crazy. Nab, Sak, the sergeant storm Koon house. Nuan takes revenge over Koon and Khem. She finally accepts to expiate her killings and hope to be reunited in next life with Sak. This movie scenario has many similarities with Mae Nak story. This movie brings a fresh and modern twist with better fx effects as such kind of movies were already popular in 1980 and 1990s.

Nak and mak are a young couple that love each other deeply. Their trueness of their love wakes up the ghost Mae Nak. Mae Nak has been buried only and never had any proper funeral ceremony. Through terrific apparitions, she needs their help to rest in peace. Anybody who try to hinder their love is killed (the greedy estate agent who sold them the old house, the burglars). Mak, following a circulation accident, falls in a deep coma. Nak needs Mae Nak help to cure him. But Nak needs to find Mae Nak's body first to make proper Buddhist ceremony so that she can rest in peace. She also needs to give her back an old brooch made of her bones. Nak has to finish her task before an exorcism (ไล่ผี) is done on Mak. This is a modern and refreshing version based on Mae Nak ghost story that has inspired more than 15 Thai movies. The two main actors are coming from the Thai soap opera TV series. The director is English and the photography direction is really good.

Thai movie แก้วขนเหล็ก was released in year 2003. It lasts 1h33mn. Previous versions were released in year 1971 and 1983. Thai movie แก้วขนเหล็ก with Kanchit Kwanpracha and Petchara Chaowarat was released in year 1971 and was still in 16mm format. It was very popular and even earns more money than other 35mm movies. Mekin (Vinai Kraibutr) is playing with black magic (เล่นของ). He kidnaps a young lady but his own father stops him on time. His father (Kowit Wattanakul) imprisons him. Rose finds that Dom changed a lot (ผีเข้า). Mekin takes uncle Jaem's daughter as a vampire. Master (อาจารย์) Yong (Rith Luecha) tries to interpose... Dom and Mekin come to Rose's birthday party. Rose’s father is played by Sombat Methanee. Mekin loved Ning in a previous life. Wat uses a sacred book with prayers to get rid of Maekin but Dom steals it. Aware that Wat has a sacred ring (แหวนศักสิท), Mekin and Dom have to get rid of him. The ring is stolen and Ning is kidnapped. Mekin succeeds to create zombies (ปลุกผี). Thai police intervenes but zombies are hard to stop. Through a daring final, Master Yong and Wat defeat Mekin.

A lady (ดวงเดือน จิไธสงค์ - Sorapong Chatree’s wife in real life and in this movie also) with her two daughters, Joey and Chutima, visits monk Krung but she forgets her purse. Kowit Wattanakul is raising birds. Koti gives back the purse but refuses a reward as the monk taught him. Koti and his friend hear ruffians discussing about drugs traffic in the cemetery located in the Buddhist temple. Lor Tok is arrested by Thai police. Sorapong, father of Joey and Chutima, is unwilling that his daughters meet the temple boys. The two daughters visit the Buddhist temple and get kidnapped by the motorbike taxis. The ruffians plan to resell the girls in a prostitution ring. Koti and his friends are also captured as the ruffians' leader believes the friend attacks his parents before. Police are warned. Finally, Koto, Poum, Joey and Chutima succeed to flee but ruffians are chasing them. Luckily a beggar in the Buddhist temple gives important advice to the Thai police. Police catch them on time and Koti neutralises the ruffians’ leader. Sorapong has always been negative about Koti but finally appreciates his help to release his daughters.

Subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Chom and businessman Anoon are in trouble as the former local head of the police is replaced by an incorruptible new police inspector (สารวัตร) Cheutchai (Bin Banleurit). Chom’s business is disrupted by this new police inspector, who shot some robbers (ปล้นตลาด). Thuan and Wet (Kowit Wattanakul) are local villagers facing Chom and its thugs led by Chat. Chom is coming from Phetburi and has an alliance with Chot (Krung Srivilai), his counterpart in Chonburi province. Both subdistricts headmen are also local godfathers (เจ้าพ่อ). Noot and Raem are the daughters of subdistrict headman Chot. Romance and nice songs are happening between them and Wet / Thuan. Chom uses bad influence (อิทธิพล) to buy land and houses through coercion. Chom wants to force Thuan to sell his land but he refuses. Cheutchai helps him on time to exit a difficult situation as Chat and his men were beating him. Sairong, Thuan's sister, asks for the police inspector’s help (ศัตรูกัน). Businessman Anoon often meets Chom and Ming (ผู้ใหญ่). Anoon needs to stop business with Ming as his ruffians hurt his own daughter, Tanya (Thida Thidarat), while trying to kill Cheutchai. Chom and Ming recruit hitmen to get rid of Cheutchai but it fails. Tanya and her friend Sairong are kidnapped by Chom's team led by Chat. Cheutchai is also captured while going to Chom’s house to know the truth about Tanya whereabouts. Thuan and Wet then attack the house. Following various fightings and shootings, all ruffians and corrupted subdistricts headmen are killed. As usual 16:9 movie put in VCD format cut the movie edges leaving a weird feeling sometimes when watching the film.

Thai movie ยากูซ่า แก๊งค์ค้าคน was released in year 1992. It lasts around 1h20mn. This movie features a similar scenario to Thai movie ตำรวจเหล็ก where a journalist always interferes with the police investigations. Some cash transport cars are attacked (รถถูกปล้น) by ninjas. Police inspector (Sarawat - สารวัตร) Kiet (Likit Eakmongkol) is asked to work on this case. Yukasa, Japanese mafia, is causing troubles in Thailand including women trafficking. Inspector Kiet enquiries on a company sending people to Japan as he suspects them to provide fake passports. The owner Chakrit argues that the ladies are volunteered to work in Japan. Chat Mongkolchai is also involved. Chakrit helps Kiet's younger sister Plaew aggressed by three ruffians. Kiet doesn't believe in Chakrit's sincerity. A journalist (นักข่าว) called Dao (Thida Thidarat) is always around to take pictures. A local car seller opens a new shop selling Japanese cars. He seems to refuse Yakusa gang's pressure to pay protection fee. Shootings happen during the opening and 4 gang members are shot by Kiet and his colleague. Later on as they enquire in a snooker parlour about the dead gang members, shootings happen again with other members. Kriet is surnamed as มือปราบมหากาฬ. Weapons exchange shall happen with Yakusa gang. Kiet is informed thanks to a singer. The journalist Dao meets Somchai and Yoshida, leaders who are preparing the traffic. Dao learns about the weapon exchange thanks to Chakrit. Kowit Wattanakul is working with the ruffians. Dao's pager sound reveals her presence and shootings happen. As the weapons exchange fail, the gang enquiries who could be the traitor on their side? Kowit is identified as the traitor. Kiet then brings a mess in their drug warehouse. The journalist Dao is kidnapped. Plaew is also kidnapped. Kiet tries to release them but he also gets captured with Kowit, who is a Japanese undercover policeman. As they condemned to slow death, Chakrit releases them. Heavy gun fightings do happen against the ninjas and Thai ruffians, who are all killed. Chakrit also dies by committing hara kiri.

Her close friend was Lampoo (นวพร ภิญโญ), daughter of village headman. At nighttime Champee is back to kill the ruffian Pajom, who is responsible of her death, but he has a talisman to protect him (ของดีป้องกันตัว). Pajom decides to hire Master (อาจารย์) Paen. Paen does a philter (ยาแฟด). The philter ends up in a failure and all protagonists are running all over (ตัวใคร ตัวมัน). Master Paen is killed. Phi Kaew (Kowit Wattanakul) is back from abroad. Kaew is looking for Champee. Young lady Booliaw keeps following Kaew. Kaew finally learns that Champee hanged herself. At nighttime Booliaw tries to seduce Phi Kaew but she is chased away by Champee ghost (ผีหลอก). Kaew wishes Champee to stop being a ghost and to be born again so he asks a master to manage it but it is also a failure. Champee is upset with Kaew and mentions she will leave only when she has finished to take revenge over those who hurt her. There is no additional bad karma for ghosts. Kaew now wishes to marry Lampoo. He cannot stay with a ghost (ผิดธรรมชาติ). Booliaw succeeds to seduce Kaew while he is drunk. Lampoo requests help from Champee. The ruffians use another master but it fails again. Champee kills all of the ruffians one by one. Finally Champee leaves and asks Kaew’s father to organise a wedding between Kaew and Lampoo. As typical standards in Thai horror movies, the ghost lady is wearing white clothes and there is strong wind as a symbol that the ghost is coming.

Zee Oui is a Chinese emigrant looking for work in Thailand. He is coming after World War II and faces harsch discrimination from his Thai coworkers as he doesn't understand and speak well Thai. So he always has to change job. He is working hard but fails to gain enough money. He has psychic problems due to the Chinese-Japan war atrocities. He is not able to have a normal relationship with a woman. He believes that eating soup with human heart will give him supernatural power to face his nasty Thai colleagues. He then killed and raped a few Thai children in order to get their heart and liver to prepare his 'special' soup. Parents all over Thailand are worried and police is doing the enquiry to catch the children killer. Zee Oui starts to kill 3 girls in 1954 but always flee to another province after committing a crime. It takes four years for the police to catch him. He was then judged and sentenced to death. This movie are received four Thai film awards (รางวัลตุ๊กตาทอง). Three movies have been shot regarding Zee Oui's life (1984, 1991, 2004). It is based on a real story. Thai movie นางพญางูผี 2 was released in year 1990. It is the same story as movie งูผี (1966) featuring Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat. Snake hunters are afraid of a big holy snake (งูเจ้าแม่). Chat is the hunters' leader. His wife Lamai is pregnant. Both of them die following the spirit's wrath. Only the baby survives and is adopted by a villager, who named her Boonme. They have already a daughter called Kamfa. Years have passed and the two daughters are now adults. Boonme is lazy. Kamfa has always gratitude over her parents. Many deaths happen in the village located in North of Thailand. Somsak Chaisongkram is the subdistrict headman (กำนัน). Chatree (Bin Banleurit) is sent to investigate the multiple strange deaths but prefers to be seen as a tourist. He meets Kamfa (Trirak Rakkarndee) in a Buddhist temple during Songkran festival but also Boonme (สรารัตน์ หรุ่มเรืองวงศ์). Inta, a strong local villager, is jealous of Boonme's interest towards Chatree. Chatree asks the caretaker in cemetery to see the corpses but only snakes (งูผี) remain. They consult a local spirit medium (ปู่เจ้า) who gives them a charm to identify in which body the evil spirit (นางงูผี) is hiding. Boonme orders Inta to kill Chatree but he fails. The subdistrict headman's daughter is bitten by a snake and is now resting in the spirit medium's house. The evil spirit orders Kamfa to bring back the little girl to her. As she screams, Kamfa is wrongly identified as the evil spirit (นางงูร้าย) by villagers. Meanwhile Boonme kills her own father (ลูกอพรี). Villagers led by the subdistrict headman wish to burn Kamfa. Chatree tries to help but gets condemned also. Hopefully a wandering monk (พระธุดงค์) (Kowit Wattanakul) stops the fire. The monk gives a holy necklace (ประคำ) to Kamfa to neutralise Boonme but Kamfa gets a promise that Boonme will stop killing people so she doesn't use the necklace. The evil spirit needs human blood to keep her eternal youth (นางปีศาจ). Boonme uses her magical power to convince Chatree to follow her up to her cave. Finally Kamfa uses the holy necklace to wake up Chatree. Through a daring finale, Boonme tries to kill Kamfa but Chatree then uses the necklace towards Boonme. Kamfa and Chatree succeed to escape from the cave before it collapses.

Thai movie Thong 4 (ทอง 4 - In Gold we trust) was released in year 1990. The beautiful DVD version done by MGM lasts 1h13mn. The original Thai version in 35mm format lasts 1h36m. A group of foreign ruffians attack a convoy to steal the gold. Bodybuilder actor Christoph Klüppel, present in Thong 3, is back in Thong 4. They cannot open the safe. Leader of Hmong hill tribe Pol (Somchai Samipak) has two daughters. The Hmong have an agreement with the ruffians to share the gold as they need money to fight against the Vietnamese soldiers. The ruffians kill Pol betraying their promise and believing he has the key to open the safe. One of his daughter is captured. Moss is sent by US government to get back the gold and the captive US soldiers (เชลย). In fact, those US soldiers are treacherous MIA US soldiers. A team is made with foreigners and Thai actors as usual (Toon Hiransap as Yot, Rith Luecha, Kowit Wattanakul, Sherrie Rose...). Captain (ผู้กอง) Moss (Jan-Michael Vincent) is their leader. They jump by parachute near the Thai border and shall meet Pon's Hmong fighters. Enemies (ศัตรู) are waiting for them but Sai Kam, daughter of Pol, and his men help them. Hill tribe Hmong (ชาวม้ง) are suffering. The ruffians' leader sends one of his men as a bait to the Hmong village. As Vietnamese soldiers are aware of the safe, the ruffians' leader Jeff (Sam J. Jones) decide to hide it in the cave. The cave is also used as a den by Japanese soldiers. So fightings do happen. Thai veteran actor Boo Wibunnan is part of Japanese soldiers. The Thai-US team falls in the trap and they are all captured by the ruffians. The safe is now with the Japanese soldiers. The two teams have no choice but to collaborate. Jeff, the ruffians leader, is ruthless. A plane piloted by Boo Wibunnan kamikazes itself on US helicopter. Heavy fightings happen as Japanese soldiers are numerous. Almost all ruffians and soldiers die in fighting. Christoph tries to double everybody but is finally killed by the Japanese leader. Jeff shots Pol’s daughter but is also killed by her. The gold is returned to the Hmong villagers. Moss decides to pass himself as dead to be able to stay with Sai Kam.

Luckily Kowit is around and helps the young lady. Phi Lom and his wife Naree can enjoy family time. Break is short as a new mission occurs. Vietnamese soldiers led by Chat Mongkolchai and Somsak Chaisongkram attack a village and kill all inhabitants. Vietnamese soldiers attack another village but Mayom (Thida Thidarat) and Pao Porapakfight back. Suripon and his men are sent in the same area. They discover that the village is empty. They face Vietnamese soldiers but push them back. Mayom and Pao follow the Thai rangers and are unsure if they are good or bad guys. For the nation and to protect Thai citizen, Thai soldiers are ready to sacrifice their lives and so their family happiness. Thai soldiers fall in ambush set up by Vietnamese soldiers. Many Thai soldiers die despite additional support of Mayom and Pao. Remaining Thai soldiers are looking for revenge (ล้างแค้น). Multiple grenade explosions occur. Suripon is getting a heavy machine gun to get rid of multiple opponents. Getting seriously injured, he uses a motorbike as a battering ram to defeat Somsak and have the whole camp to be destroyed. Only Mayom survives.

Upset by his way of working, Liso breaks up with Prakhun. Meanwhile Liso's wife, Amiyo, is pregnant. A daughter is born. A few years have passed. A few inmates led by ruffian Win succeed to flee from forced work. They run through the jungle and reach Liso's house. Trying to rape Amiyo, they finally kill her. They are then captured by Prakhun's men. Prakhun hires them to work for him. Liso teaches fighting skills to his daughter Mio to be able to defend herself. The daughter Mio grows up and is played by Thida Thidarat as a young lady. Policeman Kowit Wattanakul (ตำรวจม้าป่า) is sent to the border area in order to capture back the inmates. Mio still wishes to get revenge (แก้แค้น) over those who killed her mother. Young man Sing Thiem (Bin Banleurit) meets Mio (นางฟ้า) while playing kite. Friendship happens. Kowit meets young lady Adee, Sing Thiem's sister. Sing Thiem is Prakhun's son, i.e. the child kidnapped many years ago. Sing Thiem disapproves his father's activities in drugs but has to help when his father asks him to do so. Some sequences remind of The Golden Triangle (สามเหลี่ยมทองคำ) movie in 1975. Former inmate Win loves Adee but love is not reciprocal. Mio finally sees Win in her village and recognises him as one of the killers. Kowit has arguments with Win and his men. Mio helps and is now aware that Kowit is a policeman looking for the inmates. This movie features hill tribes helping Thai government as they are Thai also. Sing Thiem has a talk with Kowit as he knows Kowit loves his sister Adee (Marisa Udomphon). A drug transport is stopped by the Thai soldiers. A traitor is suspected. Adee is suspected as she is seen speaking with Kowit. ชาวนาย wishes to get rid of Liso. His daughter Mio is captured and the Buddha statues are recovered. Sing Thiem and his sister know the truth about their father. Thai army is ready to storm. Heavy fighting occurs and ruffians have to retreat. Kowit is about to shoot Prakhun but shoots finally the wife Saen Kam as she makes a rampart. Sing Thiem is also injured. Mio also takes revenge over Win. Peace is back. Sing Thiem and Mio are going to marry.

So, one uses his voice, one uses his strength, one uses his brain. They are good friends with young lady Deuan (สมรัชนี เกสร). Her mother, played by Pissamai Wilaisak, accepts to rent to them an old house on the river. Friendship starts to break as debts issue occurs. The three friends start to misunderstand each other. Kaew starts to have success with Prachuap Ruekyamdee as sponsor. Chen passes policeman exams. Lin quits his music band. A thunderstorm occurs. The house is seriously damaged. Kaew and Deuan fall in water. Deuan and Kaew then become lovers under impulsion (ความรักหรือความใคร่). Deuan has still not chosen between Kaew and Chen. Chen bought an engagement ring, but he finds Kaew and Deuan kissing together. Kaew will join important boxing match. There is an opportunity to win 100 000 THB. Lin has no success as singer. Deuan's father has debts with Chao Pho Lieng Chiang Mai so he wants her to marry him. Old traditions are น้ำเน่า but Deuan has to respect parents' gratitude (กตัญญู). Kaew's fight shall be a tricked match but Kaew finally wins as he is pushed by Prachuap to behave like a real man. Kaew gets shot and beaten by his trainer, who lost a lot of money on wrong bet. Finally, Kaew gets saved by Prachuap. Kaew comes back for the wedding of Deuan. Kaew wishes to flee with Deuan. A fighting occurs. Kaew shots a few men including the groom. Prachuap recommends him to take shelter in Han's home. Han (Kowit Wattanakul) raises ducks with friends but it is only a way to keep low profile. Kaew joins him to commit robbery. Chen is mandated to capture Kaew. Kaew threatens Chen that he will not let himself capture easily as he doesn't want to end up in jail for 30 years. Han's HQ are in a pub, where the owner trades stolen goods. Lin finds a singer job in this pub. By chance, Chen, enquiring on the robberies, meets Lin in the pub. After seeing them, Han believes Lin is an undercover cop. A few days later, Han's ducks farm is stormed by Thai police as one of Han's teammates discloses the location to get lighter punishment from Thai justice. Han's colleagues are shot. Only Han and Kaew succeed to escape. Going back to the pub to get money, a shooting occurs with owner. Seeing Lin, Han shoots him. Feeling bad after seeing his friend being killed, Kaew shoots Han and flees. He goes back to the old house on the river. Deuan asks him to surrender but Kaew refuses. Police has to shoot through the old house, where he is hiding...

Malee helps Bookham to feed his baby called Duangjai. Thada is selfish (ไม่กลัวรอคเอ็ดแต่กลัวรอคอด) so he refuses to have a child. Malee finds an abandoned child and wishes to raise it (เอาเด็กมาเลี้ยง). As Thada refuses, Malee asks Bookham to keep the child for her. The child is named Maem. To pay his own debt, he even uses Malee as money replacement. Finally Thada accepts to release Malee following a last sum of money. Bookham and Malee educate the two girls. Chaba keeps visiting Bookham to get money as claiming she wants to raise her daughter Duangjai by herself but Bookham refuses so he has to give her money. Duangjai and Maem don't get along so well. The real mother Wilai finds Malee but the daughter Maem flees her and gets hit by a car. Malee has to work again as prostitute to pay the hospital bill (ความสำเร็จของลูกสำคัญกว่า) (ทำเพื่อลูก). She has to go with Yamato, a Japanese man. He finally marries her but dies shortly due to cancer. She has to take over his hotel and meets an ambitious manager called Somchat (Kowit Wattanakul). Somchat has a lover already, his own secretary but he wishes to marry Malee to steal her money. Bookham warns her but she doesn't listen as love is blind. One night, Somchat brings her in a remote bungalow. Some ruffians hit Somchat and rape Malee. Pictures to blackmail her and request for one million Baht are sent. Bookham is accused by Somchat to be the mastermind. Malee finds Somchat in bed with the secretary. The secretary asks for 1M to forget Somchat. Being an adult already, Maem (Marsha) is back from overseas. Her fiance is Doctor Bin (Bin Banleurit). Doctor Bin wishes to be a countryside doctor to help poor people but this is not the kind of life that Maem is expecting. So clash happens. Thada (แมงดา) finds a job as server in the hotel. Malee has to name him as assistant manager to keep his mouth shut (ความจำเป็นจริงๆ). She wishes to protect Maem in order that she doesn't know her origin. Somchat and his ruffians hit Thada to know Malee's past. Somchat asks for 5M baht to kept silent but is chased as he is identified as the mastermind. Malee wishes to marry Maem with Bin but she is worried that problems could happen during the wedding ceremony. Somchat wishes to bring trouble but Wilai tries to stop him as she will not let anybody brings trouble to the happiness of Maem, her real daughter. During the fight she is killed. Bookham shots Somchat. Then Thada intervenes by threatening Malee with a gun. He discloses that Malee is a prostitute (ความลับไม่มีในโลก) to all and so bringing shame to Maem. Bookham also shots Thada. Maem blames Malee but gets slapped by Bookham as Malee has done everything to bring good education to Maem (ตระกูลไม่สำคัญ ความกตัญญสำคัญ). Bookham ends up in jail. Bin confirms it doesn't change anything for him and confirms the wedding with Maem.

This movie takes place in the South of Thailand. The Thai title means "Virgin market". Kaem is living with his wife (Phrae), son and father. Kaem is a fisherman. He also takes care of Pia as she has no father and mother anymore. Pia is now 18 years old and is flirting with Faeng. Pia and Faeng love each other but Kaem is over protective. Kaem is drinking and gambling. He has gambling debts and needs to give back 2000 Baht within two months so he has to interact with the gambling den owner. Phrae is a good wife that Kaem doesn't deserve due to his bad behavior. Kaem's fishing selling business is getting worst and worst. He believes he needs to get a faster engine to be able to go far and get more fishes in deep sea. Kaem learns that a sick Hong Kong businessman is looking for a young virgin woman as he believes it is the best cure. Kaem is so eager to get a new engine for his fishing boat that he agrees to sell Pia's virginity to the local gambling den owner for 15 000 Baht. He gets the money, buys the engine and has to handover Pia within three days. While trying the new engine, a storm is coming. Kaem doesn't listen to Phrae's advice to go back. The engine gets stuck and the boat gets caught in the storm. Hopefully they survive but the engine is dead. But Kaem still has his promise to fulfill. He deceits Pia by sending her to the gambling den owner by bringing a letter. She is forced to stay emprisonned during two days until the Chinese man arrives. On his arrival, she succeeds to escape from her jailers and jumps into the sea. She goes back to her home but the gambling owner is waiting there. Phrae protects her by beating him with a paddle. Everybody now knows Kaem's treacherousness. For her own good sake, Phae sends Pia to Faeng's home but this one rejects her believing she has slept with other man. The gambling den owner now wants his money back with interest. He threathen with gun Kaem, Phrae and Kaem's father in front of many villagers. He shots a few time inside the boat engine making it unusable. Kaem becomes crazy and cries endlessly about his engine. Faeng now understands the whole story and goes back to search for Pia. It is unfortunately too late... Pia has jumped to her death from a cliff. Wrecked lives due to poverty... Kriengkrai Unhanan is more used to play the good guys but deliver an outstanding performance in playing Kaem role. It is a remake of ตลาดพรหมจารี realized in 1973 with Piathip Kumwong.

Young lady Lam Duan (จุติมา ดาวจรัส) wants to marry with พี่ Tien (Kowit Wattanakul) but he is poor, so her parents push her towards another wedding with Leut. Leut (Tuanton Kammeesri) fights with Tien as he asked for her hand so he cannot bear that she keeps seeing Tien. A one to one fighting happens and Tien defeats Leut. Leut has to cancel his wedding with Lam Duan. A few months later, while Lam Duan is pregnant, Leut and his ruffians see her buying groceries. They kidnap her and rape her. Ashamed, she hangs herself (ผูกคอตาย) in front of a Takhian tree. Lam Duan is dead but her spirit still wants to stay with Tien. As usual, such Thai old movies feature comic sequences to relief from scary sequences. Comic roles are played by various second roles. Uncle Hin (Pipop Pupinyo) is a spirit doctor (หมอผี). He has to stop Lam Duan (ผีตะเคียน) before she becomes too dangerous (ออกอาละวาด). Lam Duan threatens to kill anybody, who would disclose her secret to Tien. As she was pregnant, Lam Duan has become a fearful spirit (ผีตายโหง). Tien is finally aware as his friends disclose the secret. She gets revenge over Leut and his ruffians by killing them. Uncle Hin builds a new spirit house (ศาลพรายตะเคียน) so she accepts to stop her killings and also to accept her death. Lam Duan accepts Oi, daughter of uncle Hin, to take care of Tien. The movie was also sold under the name “อภินิหาร เจ้าแม่ตะเคียน".

Her mother (Marasri Bangchang) sent him to learn Thai boxing in a Buddhist temple as he is always fighting. He befriends with Bulong (Krailat Kriengkrai). The rich local man Boon increases the interest rate so much so they have no way to pay back to get the house. They finally steal the debt recognition from him through a fight. Police is now looking for Kam Sing and Bulong. Kam Sing and the rich man's daughter Nit (อภิญญา คุ้มตะบุตร) know each other since childhood. Kam Sing finally decides to flee to Bangkok. Her mother doesn't wish him to become a Thai boxer (เจ็บตัว). Suchao Pongwilai is the heartless owner of ring. Sompong Phonmitr tries to abuse from Kam Sing. As all chances have been exhausted (หมดสภาพ), Bulong fights on a Thai boxing ring but is severely injured to the brain. While getting Bulong out of hospital, they are caught by police. Kam Sing ends up in jail as he was the one to hit Boon. Kam Sing is sent to isolation quarters (คุกมืด) as Kam Sing hits an inmate wishing to have relationship with him. His mother, tired by his behavior, becomes a nun (บวชชี). Knowing this, Kam Sing promises himself to become a good guy and to do something his mother would be proud of him. He decides to become a professional Thai boxer. Kam Sing wins all his fights as he is training very hard. He shall now face Kowit Wattanakul, Thai boxing champion. To trick the match, Suchao Pongwilai puts Kowit in a lower category so Kam Sing needs to lose weight to match 70kg causing him to become much weaker. Following an epic fight, Kam Sing finally defeats Kowit. He is back to his town and is shown as an example. He left as a pariah and comes back as a champion. He can now show to his mother that he really changed.

Linda arrives by boat driven by Chot (Toon Hiransap). As the two brothers are surrounded by ruffians (หมาหมู), they get support from policeman Krung Srivilai. The two brothers promise to get revenge for their parents. Linda, the subdistrict officer’s daughter, asks villagers not to be afraid of ruffians as Thai police are on their side. Bancha warns the sub district officer, his daughter Linda, Chot and Doo not to interfere in their business. Chot is not willing to help so he gets scolded by Chat and Cheut. Linda and Manee are kidnapped by ruffians. Cheut and Chat succeed to release Linda. Policeman Krung tries to arrest ruffians. As some ruffians are found dead, he suspects Cheut. The sub district officer is killed. Krung, Chot and Linda try to embuscade Bancha to arrest him but it fails. Somebody is shooting the ruffians with a magnum 357 but nobody knows who the shooter is. Finally it is discovered that Salek is also Dialin Chi's son with a Thai woman. Miss Ko accepts to organise a fight between Salek and the Leopard. The match happens despite Dai Cheung trying to prevent Salek to assist. Salek gets killed on the ring following the Leopard's hard punches. His half-brother is dead. Dai Cheung decides to become a Thai boxer to revenge his half-brother. He trains hard to be able to get a fight versus the Leopard. Finally following a difficult fight, he succeeds to defeat the Leopard but uncle Lu's family members are still around for revenge also... Bai (Chaiyan Sorakrai) is the son of poor farmers. Some cows disappear in the village. Ying, son of local subdistrict headman, is suspected (ชาวบ้านเดือดร้อน) to sell the cows to gamble. A fist fight happens between Ying and Bai as Bai challenges him on the money origin. Ying and his friends are strongly defeated by Bai and his brother Chom. Yiem (Dam Datsakorn), Ying's father (พ่อ), doesn't accept this and threatens to kill Bai if he doesn't apologize. Yiem hits Bai's father. Wishing to clarify the situation with Yiem, Bai and Chom end up fighting with Ying and his ruffians again. Ying shots Chom and Bai has no choice but shooting Ying also. Chom is only injured but Ying dies. Chom and Bai have to flee but subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Yiem promises to revenge his dead son. While fleeing, Bai helps Malee (Nareerat Monsiri) threatened (รังแก) by ruffian Riem (Chat Mongkolchai). Sia Thong is another godfather lending money then taking land and cows when villagers cannot repay. Bai has to play the robin woods to get back the illegal contracts from Sia Thong. Malee is Seua Fai's (Sombat Methanee) young sister. Yiem's ruffians kill Chom. Bai and his friend Sakorn (Kowit Wattanakul) take refuge in Seua Fai's territory. Romance starts between Bai and Malee. Seua protects villagers and punish those acting badly. Yiem's ruffians team perform robbery (ปล้น) by using Bai's name. They hide their face. The action is taking place during World War II with Japanese soldiers occupying Thailand. Bai and Seu Fai team help each other to neutralize a petrol stock maintained by Japanese soldiers. While visiting his mother, Bai is surprised by Yiem's ruffians. He succeeds to escape but a traitor is leading Yiem to Bai's hidden refuge. Yiem is bringing the police with him. Shootings happen. As Sakorn is seriously injured, he stays behind to stop Yiem's ruffians. Meanwhile Yiem sends teammates to kidnap Bai's parents so Bai's team has to split into two parts. Following his mother's request, Bai finally surrenders to the police. No thief can escape police. The real historical Bai is coming from Suphanburi province. He was a thief (โจร) very active after World War 2. He stayed in prison from 1953 to 1963. The real man Seua Bai (เสือใบ) has a small speech at the end of this movie. He is highlighting that his illegal life should not be followed. Other versions of Seua Bai were in 1971 (สุภาพบุรุษเสือใบ), 1998 (เสือ โจรพันธุ์เสือ). In 1971 version, the part related to the fight against Japanese invaders is much longer.

A Thai Chinese type businessman is offering land (ค่าที่ดิน) for school extension. Kru Seua (ครูใหญ่), school headmaster, is accepting on behalf of the school. Kru Seua (ครูเสือ) has a good reputation with all villagers (ครูดี). A new Bangkok sexy lady teacher Boot (ผู้ช่วย) is arriving at the school. Miss Boot has high expectations but Kru Seua reminds her that all teachers have same level, same room, same toilets as it is countryside school (โรงเรียนบ้านนอก). So all teachers have to follow the rules, show good behavior including appropriate clothing and proper speech! Kru Seua chases pupils up to the waterfall as they try to escape his mathematics lesson. Pupils are punished using the old way, i.e. beaten severely with a stick. Teacher Boot tries to intervene and to oppose but to no avail. Kru Seua is respected by the villagers but Boot believes his teaching methods are outdated (โบราณ) and promises herself to win over him. Some children behave badly, steal other people belongings or play betting games (ทำดียาก - ทำชั่วง่าย). There is even a small mafia (นักเลงแทนนักเรียน). Kru Seua encourages pupils to share food as some of them do not have enough to eat. A mother has her son Pleun, being a former convict, released from prison after three years. His wife has gone and his son is sick. He needs money. Chinese businessman’s grandson comes to study at Kru Seua’s school but he has a bad behavior believing he can do anything as his grandfather funds the school. Kru Seua refuses his entry as all children shall be the same in school (short hair, same uniform). The Chinese businessman argues his donations give him any right but then where is the virtue (บุญ) of doing donation if there is a hidden compensation? The child brings itching powder in the classroom. Finally unable to accept more, Kru Seua cuts himself the boy’s hair very short (หน้าที่ของครู). The grandfather goes to police to fill a complain. Kru Seua refuses to bend to bad influence. Meanwhile the kid is kidnapped by Pleun. Kru Seua knows the kidnapper Pleun who is a former student in the school. Kru Seua is an easy man, eating simple food from villagers by using hands. A romance starts between Kru Seua and Boot. Boot tries to convince Kru Seua not to dismiss following the pressure he received from the Police and the Thai Chinese businessman. They finally find Pleun at old Prasat Muang Singh Khmer temple. Kru Seua convinces him to release the child and to surrender to the police. The former convict has always seen Kru Seua as his third parents (พ่อแม่ที่สาม). Kru Seua has decided to quit his job. Despite excuses from the Thai Chinese businessman and his son, despite cries from the children and Boot, Kru Seua seems inflexible. Will he change his mind? Many Thai movies produced in years 1978 to 1984 were related to teachers such as ครูชายแดน, ครูบ้านนอก, ครูสมศรี, ครูจันทร์แรม, ครูปิยะ. Teachers are always supposed to be a reference and show perfect behavior to Thai pupils.

As usual on Thai television programs, bad things are blurred such as smoking a cigarette, alcohol bottle or putting a gun on a temple. The movie was also released under VHS format. The movie director is เปี๊ยก มีคุณสุต. A first version of movie “เห่าดง'' was released in 1958 with leading actress Amara Asavananda. The 1983 version featured leading actress Suriwan Suriyong and it was her first movie. The movie song is "จะไปดูหนังไทย บ๊ะ ต้องเห่าดง ดาวดัง สรพงษ์ ผิวคล้ำ นำแสดง สุรีย์วัล สุริยง มาประชันขันแข่ง อรัญญา ก็มา ร่วมกันในเห่าดง". Pleng (เพลิง)(Nard Poowanai) and Kam (Piathip Kumwong) have arguments. Kam complains Pleng is not sincere. Pleng must choose between being a ruffian (นักเลง, การพนัน) versus being an honest military officer (ยุติธรรม). They break up. The military head, Prachom (Kanchit Kwanpracha), promises to help Pleng but this latter refused due to his strong character (กระดูกแข็ง). Pleng has arguments with a debtor, who insults his mother. He stabs him, flees and quits the army. Finally, Pleng becomes a ruffian (เสียคน). Both Prachom and his wife (Marasri Bangchang) are upset by Pleng’s decision. Pleng meets dancer Anchalee (Anchalee Chaisiri) in a restaurant. Pleng has a fight with the restaurant owner Prayak (Uten Boonyong) and gets injured. Anchalee takes care of him. Pleng is accepted in the ruffians’ team by leader Prayak. Prayak and Chinta (จินดา)(Aranya Namwong) have a child called Bayan. Bayan is in fact a child being kidnapped. Prayak and Chinta need to flee the police and go overseas. Pleng promises to take care of Bayan. Many years have passed. Bayan has now grown up and is renamed Prao (พราว)(Suriwan Suriyong). She has learnt fighting skills (การต่อสู้). While doing shopping, a young policeman called Wut (วุฒิ)(Sorapong Chatree) contacts Prao as Prissana but it is a mistake. But in fact, Prao and Prissana are twins (ลูกแฝด)! They were separated 15 years ago following a robbery by Prayak in Prachom’s home. Prissana is Wut’s sister. She is engaged to a policeman (Kowit Wattanakul). Hao Dong is a mysterious judiciary punishing ruffians and warning police in advance (ผู้หวังดี). Behind it is Pleng, who always felt guilty to have quit the army. During a last event, Pleng gets shot and killed while helping Wut. Young lady Prao replaces her father Pleng as judiciary. She avenges Pleng by putting a bomb in ruffian leader's car. Wut pretends to be Niwat, insurance representative, in order to investigate the daughter, Saisree (ไซซี)(Mayura Thanabutr), regarding her father’s death. In a discotheque, Saisree recognises Prao as they studied together in Japan. Prao studies martial arts including Ninja skills. Wut suspects Prao to be Hao Dong but proofs are not enough. Wut likes Prao (ตํารวจมีหัวใจเหมือนกัน!). Chita and Phayak come back from overseas to support Prao. Prao still wants to catch the real leader of the mysterious society (วงการ). Saisree is now the head of a Chinese style secret society. Both Prao and Saisree want to avenge their father’s death. Ruffians are aware that Hao Dong is behind Saisree’s father's death, so they want to avenge. Saisree asks Wut to lie to Prao and to attract her in a trap. He refuses. As Saisree loves Wut, she protects him while the ruffians wish to shoot him. Saisree is shot, but Wut succeeds to escape. Prissana is kidnapped by ruffians in order to attract Prao. Wut, the police and Prao storm the ruffians’ headquarters. Chita and Phayak, wearing Hao Dong uniforms, are also killed in the fighting, so Prao cannot be accused. Prao is reunited with her parents. A double wedding Prissana / Chao and Prao / Wut can happen.

Pissamai Wilaisak and her mother Marasri Isarangkul are heads of a drug cartel. A drug exchange occurs but it is a trick by the Thai police led by officer Kincha (Sorapong Chatree) and Kowit Wattanakul. They surround the ruffians' den. Heavy fighting occurs as ruffians are using war weapons such as machine guns. Marasri, seriously injured, takes grenades and races towards police cars. Kincha ends up at hospital and remaining ruffians flee. Kincha's wife (Duangjai Hathaikarn) asks him to stop as she is worried her children will have no father. Knowing who is the policeman leading the assault in the newspaper, Thong Kam (Pissamai Wilaisak) promises to get revenge. Sifa (Anchalee Chaisiri), Pinyo Parnnui, Montree Jenuksorn (มนตรี เจนอักษร), ปรัชญา อัครพล, ชลิต เฟื่องอารมย์, อภิชาติ อรรถจินดา and Chaiyan Sorakrai are part of the crazy ruffians. Sifa, being pregnant, gets married with วิสูตร ตุงคะรัตน์ (Thai Elvis Presley). The wedding doesn't end up well as the husband has a mistress. He sets up a bomb in the car. Both Sifa and her brother Chaiyan die. Montree gets revenge over Elvis but gets shot by Kincha. Another ruffian is captured. Mother Thong Kam is very upset. Kowit and Waen (Supansa Nuengpirom), Kincha's younger sister, are close friends. Ruffians kidnap by mistake Waen as she used her brother's car. Back home Kincha finds his family was killed. Thai police use the captured ruffian and organises a fake escape to identify where ruffians are hidden. Thai police storms the area and all ruffians are killed including the mother. One ruffian, named Karan (การันต์ กิตติราช), succeeds to escape with the younger sister Waen. He follows his mother's orders despite she is dead. He helps when Waen is bitten by a snake. Thong Kam was a raising mother, who trained them to be tamil. Waen starts to understand and to pity her kidnapper. He is injured by Kowit but still able to flee. He helps again Waen aggressed by crazy campers. Love occurs. Finally, Thai police surrounds the Buddhist cave, where they are hiding. Waen tries to convince her brother Kincha not to shoot at เจนอักษร. He doesn't understand her sister. Karan has to exit from the cave hearing Waen crying. As he is carrying a gun, Thai police shoots him. หัวใจทมิฬ is another violent movie shot by Pisarn Akraseranee.

Mek (Somjin Thammatat) also tries to steal the family land. The monk gives to Paen an unique Buddhist amulet called ลำพูนดำ to protect him. Paen is arrested by four policemen led by Paen Pleumsachai. They bring him to a remote area to execute him per Mek’s orders but bullets don't enter (นั่งเนี่ยว) as he is protected by the sacred amulet given by the monk. Paen shoots them back. Policeman Nard Poowanai, as หมวด, is also trying to catch him. Kingpin Mek and subdistrict headman Chat (Krai Kanchit) (ลูกน้องมือขวา) are concerned that Paen succeeded to escape. Paen has many enemies (ศัตรูเยอะ). Two ladies Lom (Piathip Kumwong) and Phit (Thitima Sangkapitak), Paen’s mother and sister, are visiting the village leader. Both are the village leader's mistresses and Lom is also seduced by Chat (เป็นชู). Thai police is still looking after Paen. Paen takes refuge in a village but the village leader (Pumi Patanayut) warns the police. Paen succeeds to flee by having an hostage called Lamai (Mayura Thanabutr). Paen learns who are his enemies through Somsak Chaisongkram. Paen kills three ruffians (มือปืน). Ruffians kidnap young lady Lamai but Paen releases her and injures the village leader trying to abuse her. Young lady Booklee is kidnapped to become Mek’s new minor wife. Khun Mom Sasingha (Kowit Wattanakul) meets Chaba (Ampha Pusit), niece (หลานสาว) of Kamnan Chat. He presents himself as a customer of the underground casino (บ่อน). Pipop Pupinyo is looking for troubles with Sasingha but gets beaten. Chat is then jealous that Sasingha is too close to Chaba. Seua Rit (Suchao Pongwilai) is hired by the village leader to get rid of Paen. Mek’s daughter, Pumarin (Apiradee Pawaputanon), is coming back from overseas following successful studies. Her real father is Rit but he doesn’t want her daughter to know that her father is a thief so the truth was never disclosed to Pumarin. Paen behaves as a Robin Wood (โจร) by giving free goods to poor villagers. A pact is agreed between Paen, Khun Mom Sasingha and Klot (Rith Luecha). Klot wishes to get revenge on Mek as he killed all his family members and kidnapped his niece Booklee. Paen refuses to meet his sister Phit anymore. Both Chat and Lom are buried alive as Mek discovers they are having an affair. Meanwhile Rit kills pregnant Lamai and her mother as they refused to disclose where Paen is hidden. Phit is having an affair with Seua Rit. Per her strategy to protect her brother, Phit claims to Mek that she has been raped by Rit so that Rit cannot harm Paen anymore. Paen releases Pumarin aggressed by ruffians kidnapping her. Klot gains the trust of Mek in order to better spy him. Paen wishes to get revenge on Mek but police surrounds him. The Buddhist amulet saves Paen one more time. Phit protects Paen a last time by shooting Mek but this latter shoots her before dying. Paen listens to Pumarin and surrenders peacefully to the police. A sequel released in year 1988 was called ลำพูนแดง.

In South Vietnam, protests happen to ask for US GI departure. The movie takes place in 1975 when America was leaving Vietnam. During Vietnam war, Thailand sent soldiers to South Vietnam to support USA as a partner. Last Thai soldiers (including veteran actor Lak Apichat) are about to leave also but their leader called Cobra (Sorapong Chatree) need them to perform a last task. Cobra and his team get support from Susan, a south Vietnamese soldier. They need to extract Nai Pol from the airport. Nai Pol is an important prisoner (นักโทษสำคัญ). Thanks to Vietnamese uniforms (สหาย), they succeed to infiltrate the base and release the prisoner. Salambo (Suriwan Suriyong), daughter of Nai Pol, joins them. A boat is waiting to evacuate them from Vietnam but Vietnamese soldiers will not let them go so easily. Arrived at the beach, thousands of boat people try also to flee. Susan refuses to leave and dies there. Some boats with Vietnamese soldiers are following them. In the sea, they find 3 stranded people, a banker, a prostitute and a mercenary. To avoid being captured, they have to stop by an island and dynamite their boat to destroy the military boat chasing them. But they have no way to quit the island. Another Vietnamese boat with their tough leader (Manop Aussawathep) arrives on the island to chase the Thai soldiers. Traps are placed in the jungle. Communist soldiers are displayed as heartless, i.e. killing helpless villagers (Krailat Kriengkrai). Dissensions appear as the banker, the mercenary and the prostitute want to go their own way. Tension and stress happen in the humid jungle causing some Thai soldiers to become crazy and less aware of dangers. Vietnamese soldiers defeated America but Thai soldiers are not willing to die one by one. Pol has hidden some microfilms in his leg. It contains the list of Vietnamese sympathizers in Thailand. So it is very important to avoid Bangkok becoming another Saigon. It also contains proofs that USA considered sending a nuclear bomb on Hanoi. The movie ends with various harsh fightings between Thai soldiers and Vietnamese soldiers. Only a limited number of Thai soldiers leave the island alive. Movie แหกนรกเวียดนาม / Refugee is directed by Toranong Srichua, a Thai veteran director well known for his action movies. This movie had a 12M baht budget.

Leu (Sorapong Chatree) is a poor Tuk Tuk (สามล้อ) driver and has difficulties to find money to pay his son Tawan school fees. The headmaster (Sarinthip Siriwan) has limited understanding. One day fightings erupt with ruffians asking for protection fee to a Tuk Tuk driver. Leu and his friends (Panna Rittikrai, Note Chernyim) help. Leu hits violently Pipop Pupinyo. Yot (Manop Aussawathep) is head of ruffians. Kowit is a policeman but he cannot help that much. Wan (Thitima Sangkapitak) is owning a street restaurant, where Tuk Tuk drivers always eat. Tuk Tuk needs to pay a parking fee despite it is a public road. Leu is aggressed again while driving his Tuk Tuk so he is late at school to pick up his son. Teacher Panit (Suriwan Suriyong) sends his son back home. The teacher Panit complains on Leu not taking care enough of his son. Fighting erupts with ruffians looking for troubles with the teacher Panit but she has good fighting skills also. Panit is in fact the daughter of Yot. Ruffians fight again with the Tuk Tuk drivers as they refuse to pay extortion fee. They all end up in police station. Thanks to bad influence (อิทธิพล) of gangster Sia Boon Mak, ruffians are released first. The owner of Tuk Tuk cars pay finally for the release fee as the drivers are just renting the cars so they have no money. Leu is very late picking up his son so he meets the teacher again at his home. Sia Boon Mak (นักเลงใหญ่) forces Yot to work with him as he threatens his daughter. Brakes are damaged on Leu's Tuk Tuk as a warning. Tawan's mother, former teacher, died many years ago in a bus accident. Both Leu and Yot ended their studies at ป.4 level. Panit would like her father Yot to stop his dirty ways to do business (วิธีการสกปรก) by exploiting other poor people. Yot argues he had no choice as the society doesn’t give a lot of opportunity to succeed for people ending their studies at low level (ป.4). Following his daughter pressure and wishing to change his life, he agrees to stop. Meanwhile Sia Boon Mak’s ruffians cause Leu's Tuk Tuk to have an accident and his son dies. Leu promises to revenge and refuses to see Panit anymore. Panit proves him that her father is not involved in his son’s death. Yot is now on Leu's side. Leu fails to kill Sia Boon Mak but injures him. As revenge Yot is shot and killed. Wan is kidnapped and killed by Sia Boon Mak. It is too much and Leu assisted by Panit and an army of Tuk Tuk drivers storm Sia Boon Mak’s den. Police led by Kowit finally arrives. Leu doesn't perform self justice and lets police to arrest Sia Boon Mak. Justice will be performed but Leu has to lose his son for this justice to happen… Movie director is มนู วรรณายก. This movie was released in VHS format but never in VCD or DVD formats.

Khongra (Sorapong Chatree) is relative (หลาน) of Am Su Ra Krai (Toon Hiransap). Khongra is coming to Phailom district to visit Am. Am's team, such as Wo (Lak Apichat), needs to carry guns as the area is full of ruffians (นักเลงบ้านนอก) such as Thaem (Porjed Kaenpetch). Mr Putr is accused to have stolen (ปล้นรถไถ) Am's tractor. Local ruffians forbid farmers to cultivate the fields but as Khongra dares to bring a tractor, he has no choice but to shoot them. Later on, he helps a young lady Chairon harassed by three ruffians. Chairon is living alone as her parents died already. Thaem is defeated by Khongra on one to one fight. Friendship starts between Thaem and Khongra. Godfather (เจ้าพ่อ) Bamjong (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to recruit Khongra as he likes his style. Khongra discovers that the tractor was stolen by Mr Putr despite his disclaimer. Romance starts between Khongra and Chairon. All the illegal activities are handled by a local few godfathers including lady Sa (Aranya Namwong), Bamjong, Dam (Dam Datsakorn) and Reut (Rith Luecha). Chairon has been kidnapped and Khongra is ordered to leave the area within 24 hours. Meanwhile Khongra (เสียตัว) is also kidnapped by mysterious Amazons (Sopha played by Wiyada Umarin and Thitima Sangkapitak) but succeeds to escape. Gnoh (Kowit Wattanakul) is a policeman coming to arrest drug traffickers believed to be linked to local ruffians. Am, Khongra storm Putr's home to know where Chairon is. Before dying, Putr just says she is located at Beung Mai. While going to Beung Mai, they meet Sopha again. It is a trick to split Am, Wo and Khongra. In a fierce shooting, Wo is killed. Sa is suspected to have kidnapped Am. Khongra and Thaem are captured and imprisoned with Am. Chairon provides a hidden message but her behavior is noticed by the guard (ทรยศ). Chairon and Sopha are sentenced to death by Sa. Hopefully Khongra, who succeeds to escape, helps them on time. A festival for farmers is happening in Phailom district. Khongra is aware of the ruffians’ plan to intimidate farmers in order to finally possess the whole land in the area. Explosions happen during the festivities. Following various shootings and car chasing, all ruffians are killed or captured by Khongra, Am and police led by Gnoh.
